All right, I hope that you are thirsty. I am parched because it is time to get into the tea, the astrality. Here is what is going on in the universe this week. So this week is defined by big important planets going backwards, going forwards. On October ninth, Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance, is going retrograde in Gemini. Let's rewind the tape. Jupiter entered Gemini on May 25th, and this marked a really significant shift in energy. I would say that Jupiter in Gemini is truly the essence of Brett Summer. Gemini is the sign that is associated with curiosity and playfulness and breaking rules and very high and low brow, interestingly, which is so the zeitgeist. It is so the essence of this moment. Compare that to last summer when Jupiter was in the sign of Taurus, which is an Earth sign that's ruled by Venus, and it has a traditional elegance to it, and that was our Barbie summer. Jupiter and Gemini, very, very brat summer. It's been a really quick moving transit. Jupiter has actually reached 21 degrees since Jupiter had entered Gemini at the end of May. So we got to the final degrees of Gemini.

Each zodiac sign only has 29 degrees, so we're really, really close to the end. But thankfully, the Cosmos are saying, Actually, let's slow down. Let's take some more time with Jupiter and Gemini. Let's really massage this experience and figure out what we need to learn with Jupiter in this mercurial, quick, witty zodiac sign. So likewise, now that Jupiter is retrograde, it's inviting us to review what our experiences have been since it first entered the sign of Gemini at the end of May. In fact, this retrograde is going to slow Jupiter down so much that it is not going to be direct again until February fourth, and we will be back at 11 degrees of Gemini. So we are going to be retracing our steps so much of what these past few months have been. As we've been racing through this transit, now that Jupiter is going retrograde, it's going to be the time for us to slow our roll and be more thoughtful and more intentional about how we are collecting information. This This is an exciting time to consider what projects, what new ideas, what things have been percolating. In the early stages over the past few weeks, over the past few months, since Jupiter entered Gemini at the end of May.

Have you been feeling like it's been difficult for you to gather all of your sources to ensure that everything is operating smoothly and efficiently? When this big, abundant planet goes in reverse, it's an opportunity for us to get a little bit more granular and really figure out what we are trying to bring into the world. So, Pluto is going direct in Capricorn on October 11th. And this, my friends, is the last time that Pluto is going to be in Capricorn for the rest of our lifetime, which is a really big deal. So as a quick refresher, Pluto is a very, very, very far away celestial body. It has been demoted from planet status astronomically, but astrologically, it is a live and well. Pluto really packs a punch astrologically as Pluto represents transformation, metamorphosis. It's long term, slow, painstakingly slow, So big picture change and evolution.

It's what exists at the very core. So whenever Pluto is involved, we're thinking about what is the truth? What is the underbelly of the narrative? What is at the bottom of the lake, right? Like, what is the sediments? What is the foundational? What are the bones of any situation, of any story? And Pluto, basically, tears everything away as it needs to in order to expose what really exists at its core, what is really buried beneath the surface. Since 2008, Pluto has been moving through the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is the last Earth sign of the Zodiac. It's associated with industry and big business, especially in the planet of Pluto, where Pluto is generational. It has these really, really long orbits. Capricorn in Pluto is very much focused on business, industry, government, all of these things. If we think about what has life looked like since 2008, we are right now at the very tail end of that journey. Pluto is going to be moving into Aquarius, where it's dabbled a little bit, but it's going to be in Aquarius for good on November 19th, and it's going to stay in Aquarius until the year 2043.

So right now, Pluto is preparing to go back into Aquarius again as it moves through this final degree in Capricorn, the 29th degree, the aneretic degree And some of you may know that this year, 2024, has been defined by this 29th degree point. We keep seeing important things happen at the 29-degree point. Pluto is now going to be going direct at 29 degrees of Capricorn. And what this signals to me is that there is going to be this big reckoning, this big awareness, an inventory of what has happened, of what has transpired, of what has changed since Pluto first entered Capricorn in 2008. Now, a lot of us astrologers are attributing this late-stage capitalist era that we're in right now to Pluto in Capricorn. With Pluto now at this critical degree point, the 29th degree, the last place the planet can be before it moves into a brand new zodiac sign, there's an incredible amount of energy and tension at this placement. Really, it's because there is a reckoning. We're really being invited right now to consider on a large scale generational level where we are, where we should be, where we want to and to consider what we still need to change and what is going to suit us best as Pluto then enters the sign of Aquarius, the air sign, the sign of revolution, the sign of rebellion, the sign of the collective good, the sign of humanitarianism.

How do we transition from those final degrees of Capricorn into Aquarius? It's a really big deal, you guys. It's really a once in a lifetime moment moment, and we're certainly feeling it. Then just a few days later, on October 12th, Jupiter is going to be forming a sextile to Kyron. Now, there's a lot of Kyron activity this week, which we're going to continue to unpack. But what you need to know about the relationship between Jupiter and Kyron is that when they come together, the planet of expansion and the comet that is associated with our deepest wounds, the way that we heal, the way that we are constantly and chronically and perpetually figuring out how to be the best version of ourself, this is an opportunity for us to take those Jupiterian principles, those principles around abundance and opportunity.
