It is a solar eclipse in Libra, and it is going to be shaking up your relationships and bringing fresh starts to your perception of balance. I'll dive into this and so much more right after this quick break. All right, my friends, it's time to get into the Astrality Here is what is going on in the universe, in your universe, this week.

First and foremost, we have a new moon in Libra on October second. But brace yourself, because this isn't a normal new moon. This is a solar eclipse, and it is about to flip the script on your life. So this upcoming lunation isn't just your average run of the Mill event. We are in a clips season right now, and this is supercharged by a solar eclipse, making it a powerful moment for sudden shifts and fresh starts. And look, yes, normally a new moon is about setting intentions and starting new cycles. But as I have said before, we do not manifest during Eclipse season. The energy around the Eclipsees are too volatile, too unpredictable, too chaotic. And fundamentally, taking a break from our manifestation practice during eclipse season is good spiritual hygiene. It gives the universe permission to invite change and progress and growth and discovery into our life, things that we may have not even been able to anticipate. Because if we are just focused on our own manifestations, the things that we have been saying and repeating to ourselves year after year, we might not realize that, Hey, we've actually outgrown some of those narratives or some of the things that we thought we wanted are actually quite different in reality now that new circumstances and new changes have taken place.

So During Eclipse season, during this moment, we are really allowing ourselves to receive the information, the blessings, the guidance from the universe, rather than pushing and forcing and demanding that the universe bend to our will. This is a really sacred, spiritual, and beautiful time. And as it relates to this Eclipse series on the Aries and Libra axis, it actually is a continuation of a story that started way back in April 2023. We have had already four eclipses on this series. The dates for those are April 20th, 2023. Yes, 420, Super groovy. October 14th, 2023, March 25th, 2024, April eighth, 2024, and now October second, 2024, is going to be the penultimate eclipse, the second to last eclipse in this series. The final eclipse will take place on March 29th, 2025. So by that time, we are going to be closing out completely this narrative, this chapter that started. So I encourage you to think back to what was going on in your life when this Eclipse series began, April 20th, 2023. And then throughout this time, all of those springs and autumns all of the Aerie season and Libra seasons, to think about what narratives, what story lines, what plots, what characters are most significant through this time, through this cycle.

Because we are at the very end of this story, which means we are getting a lot more information right now as to what has happened, what has transpired, and what we are supposed to be doing with this information. When I say doing with this information, I don't mean manifesting with it, at least not until we're no longer in a clip season. I mean transforming from it, recognizing how we've changed by it, how we have grown, how we have matured, how our own personal perspective of reality has been updated, has been healed, has been shifted through the lessons and the wisdom of these eclipses. Now, these eclipses have been taking place along the Aries and Libra axis success, Libra, the season that we're in right now, is the sign of balance. Libra loves harmony. It loves relationships. So this Eclipse series has been putting a spotlight on that area of your life. This Eclipse will affect how you connect with others and maintain equilibrium in your unique individual world. If there have been some imbalance in this area, this Eclipse is going to push you to adjust them. Because here's the thing, solar eclipses bring a lot of sudden change.

In Libra, it's a time when some spicy little truths are going to be rising to the surface, and it will force you to see things from a new perspective. It will encourage you. It's a big deal in astronomy, too, but it's a little bit different. So I want to talk about these events and what they mean for you. For starters, eclipses in astronomy are powerful cosmic events that shake up the status quo and bring about sudden, often unexpected changes. The eclipses work with the north and south node of destiny, which means we are in alignment with the greater truths, with fate, with what our soul is meant to be doing in this lifetime. During Eclipse season, we often see new story lines beginning and old story lines ending, especially those that weren't serving our path forward. Whether it is a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse, whether or not you are on the path of totality and can see it, these events, wherever they are happening, are moments when the universe is forcing us to wake up and pay attention. Eclipses can be like wild cards.

They reveal the truth. They change up our path, and they help us let go of what is no longer working, even if we are white-knuckling it and saying, No, please don't let it go. Sorry. It's Eclipse season, baby. It's got to go. A solar eclipse, like the one that we have this week, happens when the moon moves between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow and blocking the sun's light. If you've ever witnessed or experienced a a solar eclipse, you know that these are really dramatic events. For a brief period of time, day becomes night. It gets cool. It gets eerie. The birds suddenly stop tweeting. It's pretty intense. For us, we feel that as well. Our ancient ancestors actually feared eclipses. They thought that they were bad omens, that portended disaster. We now, societally, We have lived through enough eclipses that we know that the world does not end during a lunar or solar eclipse. But at the same time, big changes do occur. Since solar eclipses always take place at a new moon, they are linked to the stories relating to beginnings and fresh starts and significant life changes. But remember, the moon, our emotional inner world, is blocking the sun, our source of during a solar eclipse.

So that means that often we need to go through some a big emotional reckoning in order for us to let these new story lines in. In astrology, solar eclipses are moments when the universe is clearing the deck and making space for something new. They can feel intense because they are. They can feel chaotic because they are. They can bring swift and often really surprising realizing developments into your life that throw you off course, but actually are putting you back on course. The energy can feel unpredictable. The light of the sun, which is your essence, your ego, it's blocked, right? Which means that you are not seeing things as clearly as you might think. So you may feel this urge to jump into new projects or relationships because you want to get back into your light. You want to get back into your ego. You want to feel connected to yourself again. A lunar eclipse is when the Earth moves between between the sun and the moon. The Earth cast a shadow on the moon during a full moon phase, which means that the moon, instead of reflecting that beautiful silvery light of the sun, is actually reflecting the shadow of the Earth. It's going to have a dark red umber appearance to it, which is why lunar eclipses are often referred to as blood moons. Lunar eclipses are tied to culminations, endings, and major revelations. Unlike a solar eclipse, which tends to focus on external things, what's happening publicly, lunar eclipses turn our attention inward. They bring to the surface your emotional landscape. And because the moon is literally changing color, it's no longer silvery, it's this reddish tone, it's pushing you to confront your hidden truths from a very different point of view. The last one is going to take place next year, March 2025.
