Are you in bed every night by 9:00? Are your hormones just getting in the way of everything? Do you wake up every day asking, Is this it?

[00:00:17]

I wake up on a regular workday around 5:30, make the kids breakfast, my breakfast, lunches. And then if I can sit down for five minutes I check my emails or look at my schedule. That's how I spend my mornings.

Isn't this the point in our lives where it should feel good? I mean, we've accomplished big goals. We've done everything we thought we wanted, but you're so bored and unsatisfied. I don't know. It's like every day just feels like Groundhog's Day. Guess what? You're not alone. Welcome to My So-Called Midlife, a weekly podcast podcast hosted by me, Rosh Ms. Ajani. I'm the founder of Girls Who Coded Mubs First. I got a guy I love, two incredible kids, a really cute dog. I've written best-selling books, and I wake up each day wondering, Are my best year's over? On this show, we're going to figure out how to stop trying to just get through it and actually start living it.

I celebrated a decade of divorce by going on a solo trip to the Maldives.

[00:01:28]

I began doing stand-up comedy. Started doing open mics, and it was really freeing.

Changing jobs. This is after spending nine years in one company, but the whole process gives me excitement and joy.

Join me each week as I talk to people we know and admire, experts, authors, actors, public figures. Together, we're going to validate our fears, explain our exhaustion, and get tips and tricks on surviving the mundane. This is the new group chat. Every week, you and me. So let's go. My so-called Midlife from Lemonada Media. Launching October 16th, wherever you get your podcasts..
