A dog named Milo was reunited with his family after nine years of being apart. David Cardenas, who thought Milo was stolen, ...
For many of us, our pets are our family. They're with us for the good times, and they comfort us during the hard times.
While I was out to see a week, months at a time gone, he was with her.
David Cardinas and his wife, Alejandra, got Milo when he was a puppy, a companion while David was deployed in the Navy. He was my first kid. But they had to leave Milo with a family member in Los Fresnos, Texas, while they were moving in 2015. While gone, they say their beloved pet was stolen.
The worst part was, like my wife and I say, just not knowing.
They lost hope after looking for him until a random Arkansas telephone number called them this week, nine years later.

Jeannie Bridges who lives in Cabot found Milo.
I can tell they were a little...
Thanks to his microchip, found his family, too. He said, Let me FaceTime you. And so as soon as I turned the camera around, their voices changed, and they were so excited.
The family was going to meet someone in Houston, Texas, to pick up Milo, but...
Man, I I just told my boss. I was like, Hey, I got an emergency. I got to go. I canceled everything I had for today, and I told them-They traveled all the way from Los Fresnos, Texas, to Cabot, Arkansas, 800 miles and more than a dozen hours in the car, all leading up to this moment. There he is. Hey, big boy. You got big. You got really big.
Look at you. The missing piece of their family fit right in, once again, praising the small device that reunited them.
I would microchip every single one of my pets, even if they were in a fence, because you never know what could happen next.
A nine-year long journey somehow ending up in Cabot, Arkansas. Now on another long journey back to where he belonged.
They're different looking, but the feeling is still the same. You don't get rid of that.
With his family.
