The first time I went to Japan, I was in sixth grade, so I was 12. A core memory of mine is being on the train and noticing that a man is reading a manga, a graphic novel. I'm like, Oh, I read that? I peer over to see what he's reading. He was reading something different. Different. He had some tie in his hands. Was that your first time you ever saw anything like that, too? I mean, to that graphic? Yeah. Because some of the stuff, back in early 2000s, it was not as kid friendly. Even the stuff that was meant for kids. So, but that was like, Whoa. Then a few more times throughout the trip, just people on the trains reading that. Wow. Yeah, very normal there, I guess.
