We have an NHL Edge breakdown to do from Scotiabank Arena because I just had Fraser Mitten explain to me what happened on his goal. Let's hear Fraser Mitten talk about his second goal of the season, the 3-1 goal against the Chicago Blackhawks, tonight.

[00:00:16]

We were just talking a bit in the intermission that they are pretty collapsed and tight, so get pucks up to the point. And did that come around the net, Timmermite a smart play bank in it there, and bounced right to me.

[00:00:27]

So what we have is Fraser Mitten listening to his coach. They all talked to intermission. They said, The Chicago Blackhawks are collapsing in the zone. You'll see it take place here. So Steven Lawrence has the buck behind the net. And what does he do? He plays it around the back. Fraser Mitten listening to Craig Berube, his coach, passes it to the top of the blue line there to Connor Timmins, who plays it smartly off of the boards. But the thing you want to watch is the Black Hawks who are all down low. Look at all four of these Black Hawks players down low playing Minton. Minton realizes everybody's down low, I'm going to send it to the top. Timmins, even smarter, takes advantage of all of these players coming and collapsing in on him. He sends it back down low. You get the wonderful bounce off of Soderblom there, right to Minton, right to the back of the net. That is our first NHL Edge breakdown in a hush tone, because I'm down here in the bottom of Scotia Bank Arena.
