I heard that Joel Embiid isn't depressed. Did you hear this? That he's, like, super bummed out? Embiid basically said it's not a new injury. It's just inflammation that kind of happens, and it's he doesn't know when it's gonna happen, and it's super frustrating.
Do you empathize with Joel Embiid with what he's going through, or are you of the ilk that he played in the Olympics? We maybe we need more from him.
That's the thing people don't understand with any type of injuries. It's always the waking up part. And it's never how the day goes. It's always the waking up part. Like, you wake up, you put your feet to the ground, and you just stand up and say, man, do I feel anything in a day?
Me is perfectly fine. You're waking up, your knee's swelling. You don't know where the swelling is coming. And you've been working your ass off. And and you done got procedures done, and you done went under the knife, and you done played, and you done felt good, and you're rubbing your knee everywhere you go.
Unconsciously just it's it's something there. And that shit takes a toll. Man, I'm a just stay in because I don't want anything you know, I don't want my knees swelling up a little bit.
