So Christmas, in our household, you have to understand is, probably the best holiday, especially for, like, my cousins, because they come from a background where they don't get a lot of you know, they never celebrated Christmas, or they might not got toys. I had 1 cousin who never celebrated Christmas, and I had 1 cousin who hasn't celebrated Christmas in 4 or 5 years. So each person had a different story for their Christmas.

So granny, she sections the tree off 12 ways.

Everybody gets a stripe. Everybody gets a piece of pie. It's

the little kids are are stuff is on the tree. You know, the stuff is hanging, and their toys are lined up on their section. 11 sections, bro. Real tree. We all she all bought, like, fro like, 20 things of, like, the frosting, so we spraying frosting everywhere.

She was heavy and blue. So so so the whole tree was blue. Blue bulbs, blue lights, blue candy canes. Every kid there had a gift. It was me remembering Christmas was probably the best holiday I can remember.

Just the the smile on all the kids' faces and, you know, obviously, I got a lot more toys and a lot of, you know, lot of my cousin because, you know, I'm I'm, you know, I'm I'm I'm I'm real blood. Not saying that they're not real blood, but I got taken care of different. My mom, you know, she gave me toys. My granny gave me toys. My aunt gave me toys.

So I was getting a lot of toys from everybody. But I

was like, wow. With the extra toys or what, or did we share in a toy?

Let's go shoot pool. I got this, you know, cheap ass pool set. Let's shoot some pools. So I was cool. You know what I'm saying?

But everyone knew like, my grandma called me special. So everyone knew that special was kinda getting, more gifts than than than everybody, but everyone adapted to it. Right? But

What if the tooth fairy gets there first and eats the the cookies and milk?

You know? There's a lot of things that we could run into. So are you do you on the side of tooth fairy or Santa Claus? Because I it was real at my time.

So in my time, it was real. In my my children's time now, no. Not real.

And Ernie, just tried to collect as many as possible, and then they held on to these after the kid died.

And then they found out that there was another kid in a situation who was, like, 6 years old that also collected them. So he got all these key fobs, key chains from cars that he had collected for his son, and then he passed them on to this other kid just like a cool selfless move of something that had been his own memorabilia, something that he had this incredible emotional connection to. And now he's given somebody else, another kid, a chance to be able to enjoy this this emotional connection to something that obviously meant a lot to him, obviously meant a lot to his kid, and obviously was a lasting connection between them after the fact. It was a CBS news dip that I read. They adopted Michael. They adopted a kid named Mike, the 19th Mike, a little boy from a Romanian orphanage and brought him home in Atlanta. And he was diagnosed with Duchenne, Mike, muscular dystrophy, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and incurable disease after he arrived in the US. Wow.

And he just was he he got sicker and sicker, but he just loves love keys. And he just was all about cars. But he died at the age of 33, so he made it a decent he had a I mean, it's it's never enough, but super sad story, and they love the memory that they have. And then there was, another kid with a developmental disorder called Williams Syndrome, and they were collecting key fobs. Salute to the bro, dude.

So after school, weekends, Elijah's mom takes him up there to the to the hospital, you know, just to pray, just to comfort, you know, the parents, family. Couple weeks ago at the hospital again, couple you know, we could go to the hospital. It's just I just found out that they just went to our funeral.

Like, 3, 4 days ago. Right? And my message to my to my younger children was appreciate everything while you can. Right? Because we never know.
