Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does it work?

Our OGG Joiner will take the audio files you upload and merge them in the order that you specify.

  • Can this tool make audio files play at the same time?

No, not with this tool. Our OGG Joiner puts your audio files in a sequence rather than make them overlap with each other.

  • What audio formats can you merge?

We currently only support MP3, WAV, and OGG.

  • What sample rate should my OGG files have?

Your OGG files should have a sample rate of 44100 or 44.1kHz to achieve the best result. Otherwise, we will resample to 44.1kHz.

  • Why does Happy Scribe provide a free tool to merge OGG files?

When you transcribe an interview which consists of multiple OGG files, it's more efficient if you merge these OGG files into one and transcribe all at once.
