Tonight, the Israeli military just confirming it is raiding Al-Shifah Hospital, Gaza's largest. Israel saying ground forces are conducting a, quote, precise and targeted operation against Hamas in a specified area of the hospital with medical teams and Arabic speakers. It comes less than 24 hours after our reporting from inside Gaza at the Children's Hospital, where the Israeli military says Hamas was operating inside and underneath. The Biden administration saying, Declassified US intelligence corroborates Israel's claims that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have been using the hospitals to wage war against Israel and to hold hostages.

Hamas and PIJ members operate a command and control node from Al-Shifah Hospital in Gaza City. They have weapons stored there and are prepared to respond to an Israeli military operation against the facility.

Israel's chief military spokesman showing us another room where they believe Hamas kept some of the hostages. But the hospital's director tonight denying Israel's claims, saying the facility was used for displaced families, not hostages. David, the Israeli military saying that it had given Hamas a 12-hour ultimatum before the raid. That is a senior administration official telling us that the tunnels beneath Al-Shifah are extensive and multilayered. It's believed that there are hundreds of Hamas fighters there with communications equipment and booby traps. The tunnels we saw just outside that children's hospital appeared sophisticated. The Israeli military saying they were even powered with a solar array. David.
