This is the moment a Russian military ship was allegedly hit by Ukrainian sea drones in the Black Sea, which borders both Ukraine and Russia. The Ukrainian military has released this video, which they claim shows the attack early on Wednesday. Russia has not confirmed the incident yet. Ukraine says it hit the Caesar Kunikow, a Russian ship that dates back to the Soviet era. We've analyzed the footage, and while we can't confirm it's that exact ship, we are confident it's the same type of ship. In the video, we can see several attacking vessels, set to be naval drones, approaching the ship and then hitting it. You can see how it starts to sink. Ukrainian officials say the ship was attacked off the Southern Coast of Crimea. We can't independently confirm the location, but we know that there were reports on local telegram channels of explosions in that area around that time. There's also this footage, which we know is new, of a fire in the middle of the sea. We know Russia has at least a dozen of these ships in the Black Sea, and if confirmed, this would be the fourth Russian landing ship hid by Ukrainian forces since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
