Gandhi managed to be a religious man in his personal life, in his outlook, but also preach secularism, an open house. He was very successful at that. I think what we're looking for is some politician who will offer us the alternative to hate, which is love and decency. We've forgotten that decency is so important in public life. You should not be focused on putting each other in jail. You should be focused on having a dialog about your policies which allows for the country to have better policies over time.
