First ever job I had, I was working in a warehouse, and I slaved my ass off in that warehouse. No AC, no nothing in the middle of summer. I was like, Okay, minimum wage. I did this many hours this week. I'm going to get like four or $500. Check comes in, it's like $250. I was like, What is this? And he was like, Oh, yeah, you never heard of taxes, man? You got to pay your dues. And I was like, No way. And I went to my mom. My mom was like, Yeah, it happens every time for a paycheck. And I was like, You know what? Taxes shouldn't be real.
