What's happening, podcasters?

[00:00:01]

My name's Sebastian Ross and I helpmarketers and entrepreneurs just like you

[00:00:05]

launch a successful podcast in this video,I'm going to show you some examples

[00:00:09]

of what a podcast, intro and outro should sound like.

[00:00:13]

What do you mean by podcast, intro and outro, Sebastian?

[00:00:17]

Well, if you listen to a podcast beforeyou hear the introduction of the show,

[00:00:20]

or at least you should, there should be some music playing.

[00:00:23]

You should be somebody talking about

[00:00:24]

the show, introducing the show, introducing what they're going to be

[00:00:28]

talking about today, introducingthe host and then bringing the host in.

[00:00:32]

Sometimes they'll even be a little bumperof a key thing said during that episode

[00:00:36]

that they'll put on after the introbefore the host takes over again.

[00:00:40]

Your show, you do whatever you'd like.

[00:00:43]

I'm going to show some examples of what

So we're really proud of thoseintroductions for some shows that we've

[00:02:30]

launched for clients hereat the podcast Launch Lab.

[00:02:32]

.

[00:02:32]

I hope you get a better idea nowof exactly what a podcast intro is.

[00:02:37]

Once I heard one of the podcast intros,

[00:02:38]

I always thought, wow,I want my show to be like that.

[00:02:41]

I didn't always have an intro,

[00:02:42]

I just had intro music and thenI would just start talking.

[00:02:44]

It was never an actual formalintroduction, but every time I hear my own

[00:02:48]

introduction on my podcast show and hearmyself getting introduced,

[00:02:52]

even though I put the whole thing togetherwith my audio team, I still get excited.

[00:02:55]

And it makes your show soundand feel professional.

[00:02:58]

And that's what we all want.

[00:02:59]

We can do that with minimalwork and effort on here.

[00:03:02]

Find a friend that has a nice voice.

[00:03:05]

Have them record an intro for you,

[00:03:06]

throw it in garage band, put some background music behind it

[00:03:10]

and boom, you've gotan intro for your show now.

[00:03:12]

And Outro didn't show many examplesof an outro, but an outro is very simple.

[00:03:17]

And you're about to watch an outro right

[00:03:19]

now of this video, which is very simple to put together

[00:03:23]

and very comparable to the outrothat you see on these YouTube videos.

[00:03:26]

All it simply does is say something like,

[00:03:28]

Hey, thanks so much for tuning in to thisepisode of the Sub Rush Show podcast.

[00:03:52]

to you guys and how a podcastAltro should sound.

[00:03:55]

So intro introducing the show,

[00:03:56]

talking about the show hype, hype, hype, introduction the show altro.

what is involved with apodcast introduction.
