That's her at the Duke Basketball Game, ringing the bell, celebrating the end of a two-year-long battle with leukemia. Both teams united each year her on. Take me back to that night at at the basketball game.

I couldn't anticipate the energy and the enthusiasm the place the abrupted. I was over in the corner just weeping because it was just so emotional.

It was so much fun. Everybody chanted my name, and it was awesome.

For this family, it's a moving reminder of the power of community.

I think for me, the message is knowing that with the right people besides you, you can soldier on and get through the really hard things.
