Well, Mommy, we last had you on the show before the Super Bowl, where you said definitively that Jason was your favorite. Has that changed at all this season?

[00:00:12]

Not yet.

[00:00:13]

Oh, my God.

[00:00:19]

Welcome back to New Heights, ladies and gentlemen, presented by Wave, sports and entertainment and brought to you by Uncrustable, the PB&J you just can't resist the best part of the sandwich, as they call it. We are your host. I'm Travis Kelsey. My big brother, Jason Kelsey, and New Heights drops every Wednesday during the NFL season. But we're coming to you on a Friday because we got a special Kelsey family guest episode. That's right. Family end of the year, holiday spectacular. That's what we're calling it. It's just a Kelsey family episode for you guys. Subscribe on YouTube wherever you get your podcast and follow the show on all social media @newhightshow with 1S, ladies and gentlemen, and check out our official fan club at newheightshow. Com. Jason, why don't you tell everybody what I just said and what we got coming up?

[00:01:09]

That's right, Trabb. As all of you guys know, you guys have been asking for more of our family members, and we can't give them to you all the time. We got to do it in sports. But we did figure what better than around the holidays then to have a little bit of a family re-get-together, a re-kindering of where everybody's at in life.

[00:01:31]

I.

[00:01:31]

Don't know if any of that makes sense.

[00:01:33]

But anyways-.

[00:01:33]

I'm with you. That means we got a very special episode for you guys. We are going to be joined by multiple members of the Kelsey family. We're going to talk about our Christmases, some family traditions, and get to the bottom of some questions you guys have sent in and have been asking. But first, we got to get to where we always get to.

[00:01:53]

What's that?

[00:01:54]

Well, it's not the news. It's Mama Kelsey.

[00:01:56]

That's.

[00:01:57]

Right.

[00:01:58]

She became America's favorite mom during the last year's Super Bowl and still holds that title in our hearts and hopefully yours. She makes the best cookies, dinner rolls, the world has ever seen. She could take anyone's mom versus mom in a cage match—watch out, Bert'n Tom—please welcome to the show, the real star of the Kelsey family, Mama Kelsey. Here she is. Mama Kelsey.

[00:02:25]

Is here.

[00:02:26]

Hey.

[00:02:28]

Guys. How are.

[00:02:29]

You doing? I'm doing good, mom.

[00:02:31]

All right. How are you enjoying Philly, mom?

[00:02:34]

I'm loving Philly. It's very warm here, surprisingly. Really? Yeah. We didn't even have to wear winter coats.

[00:02:41]

I think it was 50 during over in the '50s for the game. Yeah.

[00:02:45]

Nice. Well, I don't think it snowed on Christmas, but it's been snowing ever since. Oh, nice. It's lovely. We got some flurries outside.

[00:02:53]

Okay, well, I'll get to experience that this weekend.

[00:02:56]

There you go. All right, now. You're going to comeenjoy the New Year's here in Kansas City. Christmas in Philly, New Year's. You do it. You do it right. See the Girls for Christmas and then come see your favorite son and party it up for New Year's Eve. You know what you're doing. Would you get the Girls before we jump into this?

[00:03:15]

Oh, man. I got them a bunch of little things. Some curls.

[00:03:19]

You were always good at the stocking stuffers. You were always a pro at that. I haven't seen a stalking quite like yours.

[00:03:27]

Yeah, I haven't done that in a while, but there were some fun things that they got, so it was good.

[00:03:33]

I love it.

[00:03:34]

I got a Nicknack's some books for Benny because he tears up into little indestructible books.

[00:03:40]

Yeah, a little. I got him a little dinosaur egg that when you open it up, it shows the galaxy on the ceiling and everything. What? Yeah. I thought that'd be cool.

[00:03:50]

That's pretty cool.

[00:03:51]

That'll keep him awake for hours.

[00:03:53]

There you go. Keep their mind racing. Help Jason and Kylee out. Yeah, there you go. Well, that's awesome. Jason, you want to jump us off?

[00:04:03]

Yeah. I think, as always, we're going to get to the first thing, which is new news.

[00:04:10]

New news.

[00:04:11]

New.

[00:04:11]

News.

[00:04:12]

There we go. Like a pro. Mom, your famous cookies made it big time this year. You are officially Little Debbie.

[00:04:22]

That's probably better.

[00:04:25]

You're officially Betty Crocker. Mama Kels's cookies were sold at both Arrowhead and The Link for our Christmas Games. Did you see everybody? I don't know how they go during the game. Was everybody coming up to you telling your cookies were amazing or what?

[00:04:41]

We were away from the general population on Christmas Day because the girls were with us. But I did have a lot of people signal to me from the various places, and they were holding up my cookies and doing one of those. It was great because they were sold out within the first six minutes.

[00:05:02]

Damn. Did they tell you how many cookies were sold or made?

[00:05:07]

I think there was 25,000 at both. 25,000 in Philly and 25,000 in Kansas City, and they were sold out of both.

[00:05:16]

How long did it take you to make all those cookies?

[00:05:19]

Took me days.

[00:05:22]

I have to admit- She was in there working like an Elf.

[00:05:25]

-and their Eramark was very kind. They took my recipe, and they did all the cooking for me. It was awesome.

[00:05:32]

Thank you, Eramark.

[00:05:33]

Thank you. Thank you for not making my mom slave cookies to everyone on Christmas.

[00:05:39]

We're going to get to another one of our favorite segments, which is No Dumb Questions. But this is going to be No Dumb Questions, Donna, Kelsey style, Mama, Kelsey style. Oh, okay.

[00:05:50]

Yeah, Trey, if you want to lead it off. Yeah. Mom, since you're our first guest today, would you do the honor of joining us for a Kelsey edition of No Dumb Questions? Of course.

[00:05:58]

It.

[00:05:58]

Sounds like fun. Nice. All right, let's get to it. No dumb questions is brought to you by our friends at Accelerator Active Energy Drink. This is about my fifth one today, knowing that I had practice today. No, mom, these are plant-based therapeutics, mom. You can have as many as you want. These are ocean minerals, okay? This is no sugar added. You can probably not as many as you want. Too much anything.

[00:06:19]

It's clean caffeine. It's not like that dirty caffeine out of a coffee bean.

[00:06:23]

Yeah, the coffee bean. You could taste the dirt and that shit. The Accelerator has brand new flavors. Cherry, Ice, Pop, and Tropical Punch. Jason, were you sipping on? Are you sipping on any of the new ones? You're not sipping on any?

[00:06:36]

I haven't opened.

[00:06:36]

One yet, to be honest with you. I got the Rocket Pop going. New flavors, Cherry, Ice, Pop, and Tropical Punch are only available at drinkaccelerator. Com. That's right. Mom, have you ever had one of these accelerators?

[00:06:49]

I haven't because I haven't been able to find them in Florida yet. Do you want to try one? Sure, I'll definitely try one.

[00:06:55]

You're not going to be able to sleep tonight. I'm a forewarning.

[00:06:58]

That's right. I got to get up early to get on the plane anyway.

[00:07:00]

That's the spirit, mom.

[00:07:02]

That just sounds like a Kelsey right there.

[00:07:05]

Which I get, Cherry Ice Pop or Rocket Pop. What flavor should I ever try out?

[00:07:09]

I like cherry.

[00:07:10]

I don't want you to.

[00:07:12]

Break it down here. Yeah, there you go. My nails are going to pop off. Thank you.

[00:07:18]

This is a big moment.

[00:07:20]

Oh, that's nice.

[00:07:22]

Just be honest.

[00:07:23]

It's dangerous, isn't it?

[00:07:24]

But when I say honest, make sure you're very complementary because they pay a lot of money.

[00:07:28]

No. That's really good. I really like the flavor there. That's pretty good.

[00:07:33]

All right, well, and that's the show, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you guys for tuning in. Let's get to some no dumb questions because there's no such thing as a dumb question. Just dumb-asspeople. All right, Mommy, excuse my language. I'm from Megan8326 on YouTube. If the Kelsey Gals played football, what position do we think they would Excel in? Mama, Kels, Kylee, Wyatt, Ellie, Benny, Wyatt running back with her adorable 40 in the living room. Okay, all right. That's a solid baby. I can see her toe in that thing. What are you thinking, Mommy?

[00:08:11]

Who are we starting with? Mom?

[00:08:13]

I think we start with mom. Mom, what position-You're in the middle of the game.

[00:08:14]

-i'm just playing off.

[00:08:16]

All right, mom, it's defense.

[00:08:18]

Defense.

[00:08:20]

I already.

[00:08:21]

Had the fore on.

[00:08:22]

Shiver down. Right to the grill. Definitely defense. I can.

[00:08:26]

See right to the chops. What level are you talking about, mom? Are you a lineman, linebacker, or secondary?

[00:08:32]

I think it's secondary because I'm pretty fast, right? You are fast.

[00:08:35]

Okay.

[00:08:35]

Secondary. Secondary. Yeah. Like cornerback?

[00:08:39]

Maybe.

[00:08:39]

Oh, my gosh. Mama, Kels is the only white DB. Is that a strangled move? Is that a choke you out? Hey, listen. Sometimes you just got to go, It's about the go, goes the eyes. Double-thumb action.

[00:09:00]

I like it. She's clearly thought about these moves before people.

[00:09:06]

I love it. All right, so mom's a white DB. What about Kylee? What do you think Kylee is.

[00:09:13]

Playing, mom? Oh, Kylee. She's going to move the ball. She's either going to be running it or she's going to be.

[00:09:18]

Throwing it. Yeah, I think that's accurate. She was really good and accurate as a field hockey player when she was shooting. She was shooting really hard.

[00:09:27]

Kyle is a cubie?

[00:09:29]

You tell me. I think it was Codrae. I was.

[00:09:30]

Thinking either.

[00:09:31]

That or she's running with it. She's a running back. I think that's more like Wyatt. She's definitely going to be the running back. Yeah, I've.

[00:09:40]

Definitely seen Wyatt.

[00:09:41]

She can plow through just about anybody who's guys.

[00:09:44]

Yeah. Kyle might be like a Tasom Hill. Might just be like a gadget.

[00:09:49]

A little dual threat?

[00:09:50]

A little dual threat? A tight-end slash. Kyle is.

[00:09:53]

The secret weapon?

[00:09:55]

No, I really think Elliot's going to be the tight end because she has no fear whatsoever.

[00:10:00]

She really does. She does have. She's just.

[00:10:02]

Like-that's one of the traits. You got to have a tight end. Yeah, no fear. Fearless.

[00:10:05]

Not nothing.

[00:10:06]

You got to be fearless.

[00:10:07]

Yes, for sure. She's got to make it to a full adulthood. We don't know if that's going to happen yet. She just jumps off the couch willy-nilly and dives into the floor like it's a pool. That's my niece. But she's getting there.

[00:10:19]

She's my niece. You got to watch out for those second ones, man. Yeah, there you go. Is Benny old enough to- It's.

[00:10:25]

Hard to tell with Benny. Benny's a football right now. She's not hard to engage.

[00:10:28]

You as a football player. She is the.

[00:10:29]

Football player. There you go. It's hard to get you as the player.

[00:10:32]

Nice. She'll just be the football. There you go. That counts. Mom, for you to say that you're a white DB just made my fucking day. Shout out to Megan.

[00:10:42]

She's not playing at all. She's sitting on the bench, but that's fine.

[00:10:45]

She's out there. She's ready to give somebody a high stick right to the fucking chops. All right. Well, thank you, Megan. 83, 26 on YouTube. That was a fun one to go down with, Mom. We got another one from LeAnne Ellis, 57, 48. No dumb question. Was Mama Kels a sports fan before having her boys?

[00:11:07]

Yes, I was.

[00:11:08]

I was a sports fan. Nice. Well, you're East Side of.

[00:11:10]

Cleveland, Hockerbie. I like playing… Yeah. When I was in school and things like that, there was no Title IX, really didn't have collegiate sports for women. About the only thing you could do was be in the Olympics and-.

[00:11:23]

Well, they had them, but it wasn't as many opportunities. It wasn't….

[00:11:25]

No, there.

[00:11:25]

Weren't a lot of opportunities. Because grandma played collegiate field hockey, didn't she? Yeah, she did.

[00:11:30]

There were some sports that you could do that with, but not in the ones that I was interested in, like basketball and baseball and things like that. But I did baseball or really softball when it was with corporate. When I got into the corporate arena, we did a lot of that, and also darts. I don't know if you consider that a sport, but I was on a team. We were in the All-girls League, and I did that a lot before you guys were born.

[00:11:55]

This is great. How did we not know this? I don't know. I love darts.

[00:11:59]

We need to get a- I got a dart board right here. I got it right over there.

[00:12:03]

I don't know if I could do it. That's something you have to do a.

[00:12:07]

Lot of. Oh, stop it.

[00:12:08]

It's like riding a bike. It's going to be a little rusty to start off, but you'll be.

[00:12:12]

Right back. You're talking to two of your offspring. We have the same jeans as you. You can just pick that.

[00:12:16]

Thing up and throw balls on it. I had to practice for a little while, but yeah, I did darts and whatever I could. I could get involved in. I did a little bit of soccer, but I'm not an endurance runner. I'm a sprinter. Couldn't do the soccer thing.

[00:12:29]

I could not running foul poles in softball?

[00:12:32]

Yeah.

[00:12:33]

Who were your teams growing up? Was it all Cleveland-based? Did you have a... Were you biased a little bit to some.

[00:12:41]

Other teams? No, I stayed true to the Cleveland Browns and the Cavs.

[00:12:46]

And-no way, mom.

[00:12:47]

-due to Cleveland right there. The Guardians. Now the Guardians now. But yeah, I stay with the Cleveland teams.

[00:12:53]

Have you seen the Browns new quarterback?

[00:12:58]

Yes.

[00:12:58]

I have. Have you some highlights for him? He's doing pretty good.

[00:13:01]

Yeah, he is. They're doing very well. They're getting hot right now.

[00:13:06]

Smoking.

[00:13:07]

Joe. Smoking Joe. Joe Flacko. Sounds about right. Mom is definitely one of the people who brought sports into me and Jason's life. Yes, she's always been a.

[00:13:17]

Sports fan. I can honestly say that your dad was the one that searched out teams and things like that. We just shared getting you to wherever you needed to go and whatever sport you wanted to play. We followed you. Whatever sport you wanted to play, that's what we did.

[00:13:34]

I guess, how did we get into sports? What was the… We just go into things that our friends did? It's hard to remember back to when we first started.

[00:13:43]

As early as we could, when you were about three, you were playing soccer in North Ridgeville.

[00:13:48]

Wow!

[00:13:49]

How rough was that to watch?

[00:13:51]

It was like a herd.

[00:13:54]

Kids like a.

[00:13:55]

Herd, you would just move around the field in a herd. Everybody was around the ball. It was funny. That's the way hockey was too, when you were six.

[00:14:03]

Watched some of those home videos you got us outside of dad not being able to keep the camera on the buck. It was tough to watch.

[00:14:14]

Yeah, but it was fun getting you involved in hockey. That's when we finally moved to Cleveland Heights and they had a rink and it wasn't as far away to drive. Those were great times. We had family, friends that were involved in hockey and they got us into it. It was really.

[00:14:30]

The halls. Yeah, that's right. Because I feel like hockey definitely-.

[00:14:33]

Your.

[00:14:33]

Dental doctor. -the halls and there was a lot of community involvement in hockey, which caused us to start doing it across the same way. Terry Saylor was the coach of the girls team at the high school, and he was always trying to push us into lacrosse. We tried it one year and got into that.

[00:14:53]

That was because it was a crossover from hockey into lacrosse.

[00:14:57]

Yeah, the sports didn't conflict. You could hit people.

[00:15:01]

Yeah. The only thing that a boy likes better than running down field with a stick is running down field with a stick and two knives on their feet.

[00:15:12]

Jesus, mom.

[00:15:14]

Well, that's what skates are.

[00:15:16]

They're plays. You're right.

[00:15:18]

Yeah. What more could you want? It's sad, but true. But anyway, it was fun.

[00:15:23]

It still is. How about that? Well, that wraps up no dumb questions. Thank you to Accelerator. Make sure you guys hit drinkaccelerator. Com. Check out those cherry ice pop and tropical punch new flavors. Let's keep this thing going. Well played, mama.

[00:15:41]

[00:16:25]

And now for the portion of this ad read labeled personal experience to be read by talent outside of Travis and Jason, Kelsey because we are active NFL players and cannot participate. But you know who can? Our intern, Brandon. Everybody's intern, Brandon is.

[00:16:41]

On- Hey, Travis. Hey, Brandon. Hey, my electric sweater. Bye. Hey, Travis. Hey, Brandon. Hey. Bye. Oh, come on.

[00:16:47]

Just get out of here. All right, we're recording this before Thursday Night Football. So I'm going to put in my picks for Thursday Night Football live here in this little ad read. You will know by the time this airs if these win or not. So let me know in the comments how I did. We're going to do Joe Flacko passing yards. We're going to do... Oh, man, let's do a Mari Cooper receiving yards. And David and Joe, who is receiving yards. Let's pick a jet, which has been the bane of my existence here. Let's do Bryce Huff for a quarter sec. Let's take it. Let's go more. Let's flex it. Let's lock it in. We locked it in. All right, let me know in the comments how I did. Let me get the guys back and get out of your hair. Hey, and I'm gone.

[00:17:36]

Hey, and I'm gone. Brandon, how have your picks been going?

[00:17:39]

Did you pick-Pretty good, actually. I started this year with a hundred bucks. I've got a thousand sitting in the account right now, so we're not doing bad. We're not doing.

[00:17:47]

Bad, guys. We're not doing bad.

[00:17:50]

We're not doing bad. We're not doing bad. They have my Thursday Night Football picks. The Nintra and the Sears can see my picks live, so they'll know how I did by the time this comes out. I'm taking a little risk here, but it should be fun.

[00:18:01]

All right.

[00:18:01]

Bye.

[00:18:02]

Thank you. Good luck. Good luck. Well, you heard the man. And hopefully he may have did you guys right. I mean, he sounds like he's doing a great job. And if you guys want to start making your own picks, go to priepics. Com/new heights and use the code New Heights for a first deposit match up to a hundred dollars.

[00:18:19]

Again, that's priepicks. Com/new heights, code New Heights for our first deposit match up to one hundred dollars. Pick more, pick less. It's that easy.

[00:18:29]

Let's get to a bowl, Donna, holiday topics about to force everybody into a Kelsey Christmas here. What was your favorite gift that you got this year?

[00:18:39]

Oh, man, that's tough.

[00:18:41]

Do you have to choose?

[00:18:42]

That means she didn't get anything good just for anybody watching. Favorite gift? I don't really.

[00:18:48]

Have one. Just wait until she comes to Kansas City. There you go. I got you covered. I got.

[00:18:54]

The family covered. Christmas is.

[00:18:55]

About giving. I got a nice volure.

[00:18:57]

Christmas is about giving.

[00:18:59]

It's not.

[00:19:01]

About receiving. But I did get some really nice earrings. I have to admit.

[00:19:05]

Nice. You still have one of.

[00:19:07]

Your gifts. Jason is still getting you earrings, huh?

[00:19:10]

Yeah. Hey, I do like earrings. For some reason, you think I don't like them.

[00:19:13]

I screwed up and didn't get the pistachios and the candle at the same time.

[00:19:17]

It.

[00:19:18]

Was the sweatshirt and the mug with your pictures on it that were great the first couple of times, but every year got old. But I do love jewelry, so that was always.

[00:19:30]

A plus. What was the earring that we always got you, though? It was the certain type of rock or something. It was hoops. It was hoops? Okay.

[00:19:39]

It was always hoops. Nice. Those are always good. You can wear those anytime.

[00:19:44]

There goes the hoop.

[00:19:45]

I'm burning up right now.

[00:19:56]

Because you got Valor on.

[00:19:57]

You're right.

[00:19:58]

It is. It's a hot.

[00:20:00]

Who spoils the girls more? You or Jason?

[00:20:06]

Oh, man, that's close. I would assume it would have to be Jason because he's here most of the time.

[00:20:12]

Do I spoil them, though? I feel like I try not to.

[00:20:14]

You don't, but you're very kind and you're very gentle. You keep them in line. All it takes from you is just your voice. They stop.

[00:20:24]

That's.

[00:20:25]

The Kelsey way. Yeah. He's not a screamer. Yeah, it's more like... That's like a voice in a body.

[00:20:35]

Hey, cut it out. I'm not even making this story. We were in their bedroom last night or a couple of nights ago, actually, and I'm trying to get them to go to bed, and I just keep going like this.

[00:20:48]

Hey.

[00:20:51]

Why? It's like, Dad, why do you go like this? Because I mean business.

[00:21:00]

It's about to get ugly.

[00:21:02]

I'm not playing around. You see me smiling? What harm am I instilling in them from a young age?

[00:21:13]

No, you have to make them know that you're serious. Because a lot of times you're joking around.

[00:21:18]

Or I've actually seen him. He gets the stomps. Dad was real good because we lived in a 100-year-old house in Cleveland Heights. So dad used to hit the stomps and the whole house would shake.

[00:21:30]

Just make a lot of noise and people like, Oh, no.

[00:21:33]

What's happening? It's like, Oh, shit. Shit. Shit.

[00:21:36]

Clean up.

[00:21:37]

We're doing nothing. We're doing nothing. What the hell did I tell you? No, it's a classic Ed, Kelsey. All right, mom. Yeah. I believe Jason spoils the girls. He can't help himself.

[00:21:54]

It's hard now, too. Do you enjoy holiday games? Yeah. Was it fun to go to.

[00:21:58]

The Christmas Day game? Yes. I love the Christmas. I loved the games. Yes. That was a good time. Thank God you picked the right one. It was a great time because the whole atmosphere is great. We had three people dressed in rabbit suits down below, and they were jumping around every time the music was on. Wait, rabbit suits? It was hysterical. It was like Ralph from.

[00:22:22]

The Christmas story.

[00:22:24]

They were all pink, pink rabbit suits. These were adults and they were dancing the entire game and it was hysterical to watch them. It's just fun. There was a lot of Santas in the stands and just everybody was dressed up to the nines, and it was just amazing, a magical evening. It really was awesome.

[00:22:46]

I love it. Well, let's get to some traditions in the Kelsey household. What was one of the fun stories that you can remember from us as kids.

[00:22:57]

On Christmas? Jeez, I wish I could, but they all in together. Yeah, I know. But a lot of it is there were so many sports, even back then, that where we were at tournaments right afterwards or right before we were doing.

[00:23:13]

- Cleveland Heights holiday tournament.

[00:23:15]

We were hockey, basketball got started then. The best thing was I love people. We were always surrounded by people and our friends. Always. That was what was so great about the holidays. It was just a lot of people that were around all the time, and we got to enjoy it with a lot of families. It was a special time.

[00:23:37]

This is true. Is there one Kelsey family holiday tradition? Tradition? Like one definitive... This is a... Has to be this. You just gave it to us both.

[00:23:49]

Yeah. Just gave it to us both? Yeah. Talking about the ornament?

[00:23:54]

Kind of split it right down the middle.

[00:23:55]

Oh, the ornament. That's right. I had the Disney ornament.

[00:23:58]

Ornament. The Disney ornament.

[00:23:59]

Yeah, used used to that up on the tree. We would.

[00:24:01]

Always go through it together. I remember that one.

[00:24:04]

Putting.

[00:24:04]

The tree up with the ornament and the lights and everything.

[00:24:07]

I would buy those every year from Rolyer. It was great. They don't make them anymore, but they were old old ornament. Be careful when you open up the boxes because they start falling apart.

[00:24:20]

Wyatt and Elliot broke two of them this.

[00:24:21]

Year already. Yeah.

[00:24:22]

Were they good ones?

[00:24:24]

I think part of it is, I think we broke them from before, and they didn't even take it out of the box. I think what happened is mom had to superglue the ornament from back in the day. Of course, yeah. The superglue has now since dried out, so we just have to re-superglue it.

[00:24:38]

Yeah. Just be careful when you open those up because it's-.

[00:24:42]

It's- Oh, they're already open. I got them all on the tree.

[00:24:45]

Oh, that's awesome because in the Florida heat, it just gets really hot. I'm glad you liked those ornament. I gave both of you guys boxes, and so it's... They were special to me.

[00:25:01]

The one other one that I definitely remember being a tradition.

[00:25:04]

Was.

[00:25:05]

Two batches of blueberry muffins.

[00:25:09]

Muffins. I used to make the blueberry muffins and also the rolls, the the rolls.

[00:25:13]

That's how I knew when to wake up. You smell those things upstairs, you're just like, Oh, it is about to go down.

[00:25:19]

It's.

[00:25:19]

Time. Yeah. Blueberry muffins were good. It is.

[00:25:21]

Time for some presents.

[00:25:22]

I haven't made those for a while.

[00:25:23]

They should should Man. Man. -has been a while. Like one-golfers. You just take it out, you just peel the whole thing.

[00:25:27]

It's just...

[00:25:28]

Yeah.

[00:25:29]

They've got true-It's really good. -a little stew on top.

[00:25:31]

We always had honeybakes ham. Yeah.

[00:25:34]

We were big on ham. Not so big on turkey.

[00:25:37]

No, peanut-briddle.

[00:25:38]

Port-chops, things like that.

[00:25:41]

Oh, peanut-briddle. Peanut-briddle. Chicken Mom, did you know dad was the candy man just for Christmas?

[00:25:45]

Oh, yeah. I told you guys that because one year you went up and looked at your presents, and I yelled at you and said, Dad has a second job just to make sure your Christmas is wonderful.

[00:25:57]

It was the year we got the Xbox. Yeah. Yeah. Because I we went up there. It was the only time we really went up and took a peek.

[00:26:04]

I did it every year.

[00:26:06]

Year. Okay. It the only time I went up and took.

[00:26:09]

A peek. As soon as I found out where.

[00:26:10]

They were every year. We did it together. We both went up there together this year because we were really hoping, and dad was playing a good poker face with the Xbox, but we went up there. We knew the Xbox was coming. Then on Christmas Day, dad, one of us opened opened it. Did the same thing he always does. The old Christmas story like, Oh, all the gifts are open. Open. I guess you didn't… Oh, wrong? You didn't get what you want? Want? Like, Oh, over there at the table? This direction. Then we opened it up and apparently we did not sell it good enough because I thought we sold it it good- No. -and we went in there and right away, unboxed it, plugged it in, started playing. Mom came in right away and she's like, Your dad works really hard just so we have enough money to buy buy these He takes an extra job. She laid it on thick. We were like, Man. I hear what you're saying. I'm with you.

[00:27:08]

I'm in the middle of beating level one in Mortal combat. Mom, can you just tell.

[00:27:11]

Me this later? We'll talk about this later. We're really sorry about what we did.

[00:27:17]

Dad's the best for that. We appreciate you teaching us a lesson there.

[00:27:20]

How about the one time you you We got the the and you played donkey Kong Country, DK 64 with us and beat the the entire Beat the game. -went all the way to the end. In what.

[00:27:31]

Three days? I spent my two-week Christmas vacation working on that. We would tag to it. I would do it for a level, hand it to to and Travis would do it, and I'd do it. Good times. We made.

[00:27:41]

It all the way through. That was a a great.

[00:27:44]

Bonding right there. That was fun.

[00:27:46]

Yeah, that was fun. The controllers are too difficult now. I can't do it. I did it back then.

[00:27:51]

But not now. Well, the games are more difficult.

[00:27:54]

That's what it really is.

[00:27:55]

I think it's too in-depth now. I prefer the games where you have... You got three buttons and you got to be creative to figure out the rest of it.

[00:28:03]

Once you- I enjoy video games nowadays still. I do. I don't think it's too complicated. I just think that I enjoyed those old games and the simplicity of it that much more, so I just play those a lot more.

[00:28:16]

I.

[00:28:16]

Just feel like they offer more creativity. I'll play N64 and Xbox before I turn on my PS5. Yeah, okay. Mom, did you hear about... You're about to be in a cage match between Bert Keiger and Tom Tom Seger's No. You haven't heard this? This? Wwe picked this Mom.

[00:28:34]

Doesn't listen to the show.

[00:28:36]

Mom, you got to... I don't know if you have a real...

[00:28:39]

I heard that they thought we should be in a match.

[00:28:43]

I think we're still pressing.

[00:28:44]

This thing. Their moms came on and said, It's fucking on. Oh, they did. Oh, I don't want to hurt anybody. No, they they I don't think they did.

[00:28:52]

You're on record as.

[00:28:53]

You would hurt hurt them?

[00:28:59]

Yeah, that's fighter is Donna, Kelsey? What are we?

[00:29:04]

We just saw it. What do you mean?

[00:29:05]

Are you throwing hands? Are you bar.

[00:29:07]

Bar fighting I don't fight fair.

[00:29:10]

That's true, ladies and gentlemen. Gentlemen. That's how we do I got to get my first hand. Yeah.

[00:29:15]

I mean, you have to do whatever you can when you're in a house with two big kids that are taller than you.

[00:29:24]

There you go. Well, our mom comes in peace if your moms come in in peace, okay? Yeah. Don't want to hurt anybody. For sure. Shout out to two bears in one cave. The 92% really enjoyed us talking about Cedar Point as kids. That was a blast. And me being on a leash growing up. Can you explain why you put me on.

[00:29:46]

A leash?

[00:29:46]

I still don't remember this. No, you were on a leash for only one festival. Because we were scared to death, you were going to run off with the the But it was.

[00:29:56]

Just- Was this also close in time time to when had gotten lost at the county fair? Fair?

[00:30:02]

Yes. I think brother had just gotten lost a year before, and a cop car pulled him up and said, Is this your kid? I was scared to death because you would just run off. I couldn't catch you, you, You were so fast.

[00:30:13]

Plus, I couldn't lift you. You told me, if you get lost, go right here. You would always tell me right before we got got into In my mind, I'm like, I can run off.

[00:30:24]

You were somewhere in between one and two. You started walking walking eight eight and you were just a terror. Eight months, you were were little. Couldn't find you. You would dip in and out of cars and I'm like, I can't have you dying. That's what we did. It was a short six-month period until you understood how dangerous it was.

[00:30:45]

What leash was it? It wasn't a harness. It wasn't.

[00:30:49]

A leash. We didn't have a.

[00:30:50]

Leash on your neck. It wasn't the same one that Bell had that the harness you pulled, the more like choked her or something.

[00:30:57]

I used to to think it was harness. It was a harness over his shoulders and around his chest.

[00:31:03]

You can just see me, just cotton candy in my hand, just blue mouth and just getting choked.

[00:31:09]

No, it's just like... It was a short six-month period, and it was only when there were a lot of traffic we were going to somewhere or whatever. I couldn't carry you. You were just too heavy. Sorry.

[00:31:26]

That's That's all I didn't want to be carried. I was ready to rock and roll. Roll. Was ever on a lease? Did ever think like, Oh, I need to put Jason on a lease.

[00:31:32]

No, he stayed close.

[00:31:33]

I got lost.

[00:31:34]

Yeah, but that was only one time. Well, he did get lost. It was because this was when he-.

[00:31:39]

They didn't tell me where to come back. At least they told you where to come back.

[00:31:43]

I guess.

[00:31:44]

He's.

[00:31:44]

Gone. Was that at the Ohio.

[00:31:46]

State Fair? It was either county fair or.

[00:31:49]

State fair. Well, remember, you also got lost on the turnpike on our way to Chicago.

[00:31:54]

I didn't get lost. I was in the place that you left. You guys left me. Me. There's difference.

[00:31:59]

Of that one. I made the mistake of giving both of you because you would whine about quarters. There were video games or what weren't video games that you could have in the car yet. I would give you a stack of $10 with the quarters. This is genius, by the way. I said, When the quarters are gone, that's it. You can't.

[00:32:16]

Play anymore. The fun is over.

[00:32:17]

He had a stack of coins. I had to go to the bathroom. I got out of the car. We were in the minivan. Both Jason and Ed were asleep in the car. You were in the back or something like that with a sleeping bag over your head. I got out, went to the bathroom, came back in. I saw all the bags there and everything, and I thought I saw all three heads. And sure enough, I drove off and you immediately stood straight up and you're like, Jason, we left the back at the….

[00:32:51]

Home run style.

[00:32:52]

Yeah. It was a prick move. I definitely could have told you before you hit the ramp on the freeway. Yeah. Yeah. I waited until you got on the freeway. I was just like, Wait, where's Jason? Did you forget forget about must.

[00:33:06]

Really hate him. You know how it goes. You have to go 20 miles that way on a turnpike and come back 20 20 miles- I think I came back 20 miles- a flip of of Yeah. I'm on the other side of the turnpike yelling, Do you have him?

[00:33:19]

Because Because got out and ran back.

[00:33:21]

He did. He ran two miles back to-.

[00:33:24]

He was playing frog or something. There's no way he ran two miles.

[00:33:27]

Miles. There not two two miles? The first time the story was told, it was half a mile, then it went to a mile. Now it's migrated up to two. We got to stop the blast. There's no way dad ran two miles.

[00:33:37]

Dad ran back to Ohio. Ohio.

[00:33:39]

-i could.

[00:33:40]

Tell He was grabbing his chest, and I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I'm like, Are you okay?

[00:33:47]

Well, Jason has always been known to get lost. He's the worst at it. He's true. He's him him and Directions just Do you know how old Jason was when he got lost two blocks from home?

[00:34:01]

Yeah, that was you had to be in first grade because both of you were going to Fairfax at the time. So he must have been in third grade.

[00:34:10]

Yeah.

[00:34:11]

Third grade. I used to drive you every day because.

[00:34:16]

I wanted to make sure.

[00:34:17]

You got there. You would walk home. But I made sure I drove you there because the school was close enough to walk. Yeah. I just wanted to make sure you weren't weren't and not going to get to school. And so I got tired of it. He wasn't ready. I said, That's it. I'm tired of waiting on you. We're going to be late. I took off. I was going to turn around and come back and get him. But he ran across the street to a neighbor and got a ride, and I get a call from the principal, Mrs. Mcbee, and she's like, Your son is here, and the neighbor drove him. I'm like, I was going to go get him. I don't.

[00:34:52]

Even remember this one. I was thinking of a different one. Apparently, Apparently, I've been.

[00:34:55]

Multiple No, this is your thing. This is what you do. You just.

[00:34:59]

Get lost. Yeah, but he doesn't run run into cars and the street. I didn't have to put a harness on him. I did on you. You showed no fear whatsoever of anything. But don't put a harness on Ellie.

[00:35:15]

Yeah.

[00:35:16]

Let her flank. If she wants to flank, she can.

[00:35:18]

Let her get out there.

[00:35:19]

She She wants to flank, she can flank. Will definitely be the runner.

[00:35:21]

Well, Mommy, we last had you on the show before the Super Bowl, where you you said that Jason was your favorite.

[00:35:33]

You said it.

[00:35:34]

Understandable. Understood. Has that changed at all this season?

[00:35:39]

Not yet.

[00:35:40]

Oh, my God. Such a perfect answer. I don't think it could have been any better.

[00:35:49]

I love you both just the same.

[00:35:52]

Well, thank you for coming on, Mommy. We love you, as always. I'm sure the 92% has enjoyed a little bit of this.

[00:35:58]

Thanks, Mom. It was a great great It was fun this year.

[00:36:02]

[00:36:49]

[00:38:49]

Hey. Hey.

[00:38:51]

He's back. Hey.

[00:38:52]

Rockin' is Cleveland Heights football polo from 2003, booster club champion right here. I I just trying to sell all those cards and all that that for Cleveland Heights.

[00:39:04]

Well, March was for the- The cross.

[00:39:07]

Yeah. What was football? Football was Georgia O's Fresh Oven. Georgia Georgia O'Fresh Oven.

[00:39:11]

The.

[00:39:12]

Discount codes. Georgia definitely one of the people on this card. The subway was on that car. There was a whole bunch of Cleveland Heights businesses or businesses around the area that were willing to team up with the Cleveland Heights Heights Football get some money back to the high school. Did you go into subway and ask them if they wanted? How did that that all about?

[00:39:30]

I didn't have anything to do with the cards. What I did was I developed, I didn't develop, but I made a program for every home game.

[00:39:39]

Yeah, I remember those.

[00:39:40]

Okay.

[00:39:41]

That had sponsors on the back of the program.

[00:39:42]

And I sold advertising in the program to Donados, to to the Georgios.

[00:39:51]

To the.

[00:39:52]

I went to to I went to anybody where we get a little bit of cash, but I get a bundle in trade. I would get maybe I'd get $200 from from but they give me $500 in credit. That was all so we could feed you guys every week.

[00:40:09]

Oh, nice.

[00:40:09]

Yeah, that's how we funded the the Did.

[00:40:11]

You ever manipulate the system? Pardon? Did we ever benefit personally from that $500 credit?

[00:40:17]

Did the Kelsey.

[00:40:17]

Household do anything? No, no, no. I would give all the money to Dave Van Lair and let him handle that.

[00:40:24]

Nice. Well, yeah, let's go ahead and get to how I I Christmas for you, you, big Go ahead, Jason.

[00:40:29]

All All How was Christmas week, first of all, in Kansas City? I haven't really spoken to you that much since then, but how was Christmas this year for you, Pop?

[00:40:39]

It was very nice. I got a couple of Super Bowl trophies.

[00:40:42]

There we go, baby. There we go. Right to the presence. I decided that it would have been very shitty little brother of me to get the Vince Lombardi of last year's Super Bowl.

[00:40:54]

He got both.

[00:40:55]

Of the- You didn't get the.

[00:40:57]

Other one. One. Got the Minnesota and the Miami Miami one. Have the first one for both of you guys. That's all I need.

[00:41:03]

Well, that's two more than I have. I still don't have a Lombardi trophy.

[00:41:06]

Good.

[00:41:09]

Point. I never ended up getting the specialty ones made. Where do you go to have those made? I know a guy. You don't want to say it on this? You just know a guy?

[00:41:17]

I know a guy. Yeah, just know a guy. They're authentic, though. They're real deal.

[00:41:22]

Like Tiffany, real deal?

[00:41:25]

Oh, yeah. You know, baby.

[00:41:26]

Okay.

[00:41:27]

You know it. We mentioned your intro, dad, that one of your nicknames was Willy Waka. Yeah.

[00:41:34]

That was- I don't remember that that one at.

[00:41:36]

Well, that was amongst all the kids. That was amongst me and Jason.

[00:41:40]

There was one kid who, Roland Plunkett made a joke. We were playing football at Roxborough Elementary, I think. He made some type of joke because you had just just the job at at Sees candy or something like that. We had a bunch of candy around for the practice or whatnot. First of all, I guess how did that come to happen around around the How did you apply to Seize? Like right away? You were like, I love this peanut brittle and I'm going straight to.

[00:42:08]

To Okay. I had never heard of of I was looking for some part time work because with what I was doing at the time between Thanksgiving and about the second week in January is a dead zone. All you do, you show up bottles of whiskey. I would show up with Honey Make Ham certificates. Certificates. And you had any gifts from the vendors, that is, is, Dylan had some some flashlights and stuff to hand out. Or I would have coffee mugs, stuff like that. You're dishing out stuff like that. You go around, you buy lunches for the crews on the floor, and that's all you do for that six, seven weeks there. That's when iPods came out and you guys, at least Jason Jason wanted the iPods. The iPods were like 400 goddamn dollars.

[00:42:58]

Yeah, they're expensive. They came in adifficult. This is before they started making them in China. This is when they started making them.

[00:43:03]

In the US. Dan and he also wanted those carbon fiber hockey sticks.

[00:43:08]

The synergies. The synergies, yeah.

[00:43:10]

They're like a $130. I figured, well, I got to get a part time job. We're going to to this off. I just looked in the newspaper and saw that there was a kiosk open, Sees Candy, which I had no idea who it was, but they were opening a kiosk for the holiday season, which was perfect. I went in and applied and then-.

[00:43:34]

Did they ask for your candy experience? No, no, no. Did you have to to say very very to the peanut butter cups.

[00:43:43]

You had to pass a very basic basic map. Okay. Okay. All right. So can add stuff up and charge on the right price, you know what I mean?

[00:43:52]

Fair enough.

[00:43:53]

That was the biggest thing. I I no idea what what candy was. First night I'm working there, there, we've got I say, girls are probably in their late 20s, early 30s, started coming down that particular section of the ball and would start screaming when they saw the Cs. Oh, wow. And running.

[00:44:17]

All right. Big Big Seize.

[00:44:18]

Okay. I didn't know. I love it. They would automatically grab all kinds kinds of the were always their favorites.

[00:44:25]

Which ones?

[00:44:26]

The The toffeets.

[00:44:28]

Toffeets.

[00:44:29]

Toffeets. Those are little things like cat cat.

[00:44:34]

I think I know what you're talking about, actually.

[00:44:37]

Then it was only about a week till the lady that they had hired as the manager for for that. Basically got hired for showing up, working an hour and a half and charging charging for the whole day and leaving. They offered me, You want to be the manager? I said, Fine, I can do this.

[00:44:56]

Nice. What is your affiliation with Sees Candy now? Because I just got got something for from from.

[00:45:00]

Well, because I.

[00:45:01]

Go there. Are you just an.

[00:45:03]

Ambassador now? No, I'm just a guy buying candy for.

[00:45:06]

His kids. What is your favorite item at Sees candy?

[00:45:08]

Candy? Truffles.

[00:45:10]

Keyline truffles. I thought you were going to go peanut brittle.

[00:45:13]

No. No, that's just what he couldn't sell, so he brought that home.

[00:45:16]

That's what.

[00:45:17]

That was? No, no, no. I would buy the small boxes and bring them home because you guys absolutely.

[00:45:23]

Loved it. It was good.

[00:45:25]

It was good. Still is. Do we have any update on the explanation explanation of.

[00:45:30]

I think because I was a- -Chebers. -there was a religious organization at St. Joseph High School.

[00:45:38]

You're going to bring religion into this. There's no way religion has anything to do.

[00:45:41]

Do you want to hear this or or.

[00:45:43]

Yes, I do. You want to.

[00:45:44]

Tell the story or should I?

[00:45:45]

Sorry, you got it it No, you can go.

[00:45:47]

Okay, thank you. It was called Sedality, and I was on the Sedality Committee.

[00:45:51]

What's a Sedality?

[00:45:52]

It's a blessed mother. Mother. It's a society of Society of Mary is from the Marioness Brothers Brothers who St. Joseph High High Okay. This was not unique to my high school. This is common. This is common in the Catholic faith.

[00:46:09]

What does one do to get on the sedality council?

[00:46:12]

Basically, it was just a faith-based. You would recruit people to come into meetings to read the Bible, to pray.

[00:46:19]

Stuff.

[00:46:20]

Like that. Dad, how is this to do with diapers?

[00:46:23]

I'm getting there.

[00:46:24]

He's getting there.

[00:46:25]

My bad.

[00:46:26]

My bad, my bad. I'm sorry. I'm making this. I was the youngest guy I was the only freshman.

[00:46:31]

All.

[00:46:32]

The seniors decided to call me diapers.

[00:46:36]

That makes sense. That makes a lot of sense. You didn't shit your pants on the altar? No. All right.

[00:46:42]

I've never got caught.

[00:46:47]

We.

[00:46:48]

Know how how goes.

[00:46:49]

Sometimes that wine just runs right through through you, know.

[00:46:53]

What I mean? All right. This is the first time you've been back on the the show since told stories of getting kicked out of preschool, and the 92% have been dying for your perspective. What do you remember from both of us getting kicked out of preschool?

[00:47:11]

What do you mean? What do I remember? All of it.

[00:47:13]

Well, Well, I guess tell that story. You just told the the story, and just tell that one now.

[00:47:20]

Well, Jason gets in a fight every year, starting in first grade.

[00:47:25]

Every Jason got in a fight.

[00:47:27]

Every year, Jason gets in a fight. I'd have to to go to see the principal, talk our way out of it. The first year I took your mother with me, bad idea.

[00:47:36]

Why?

[00:47:36]

Your mother almost got you doing more time. Your mother mother were there argued with them about this.

[00:47:44]

Mom did. Mom went in there with two thumbs right in the eyes.

[00:47:47]

Eyes. Yeah, I'm dead What happened to the other guy? Guy? He was in the.

[00:47:50]

My kid didn't do it.

[00:47:51]

The kid kid started the fight is in the hospital. That didn't do us any good.

[00:47:55]

Not a good start.

[00:47:56]

After we got out of that one and I told your mother, you're never doing doing this Jason gets in in I'll handle it.

[00:48:04]

This happened in the preschool one when I was trying to deal with the sport.

[00:48:08]

No, I don't.

[00:48:09]

Know about the- You're.

[00:48:11]

Talking about elementary school when you you suspended, not tossed out.

[00:48:16]

Okay, so I'll ask the question again.

[00:48:19]

Are you going back to the sport?

[00:48:23]

Yeah. In his defense, we did already go over everything everything about-There's a lot of stories. All the same. The sport is pretty much.

[00:48:30]

A dead issue. I got nothing to add on that.

[00:48:33]

You had nothing to add?

[00:48:34]

What was the worst trouble you remember getting into when you were in college?

[00:48:38]

Not a chance we're going there.

[00:48:40]

Come on. What's a good story? What's a good story? What's a good story? All right. What's a.

[00:48:43]

Good story? Story? All right, what's a good memory?

[00:48:45]

60 years old at this point. It can't be that.

[00:48:49]

Oh.

[00:48:50]

Yeah. The supermarkets used to have this thing where they would and it was in conjunction with the local TV station. They would print out out cards with numbers on them, like bingo cards, but they were all relative to a race, a horse race.

[00:49:05]

Okay.

[00:49:06]

I know the horse race. You didn't know what track, you didn't know anything about about it, you tuned in at a certain time on a Thursday evening and for five minutes. Minutes. For five minutes. Would throw this horse race out there, which might have been 30 years ago at a track in California.

[00:49:24]

That's smart.

[00:49:25]

Yeah. Whichever number horse won. Well, my father worked... My My father a messenger for Brings. We would go to all those grocery stores and he would bring home a pack of these things. These contracts. Did you go take them home?

[00:49:39]

Gold ticket is what these things were.

[00:49:41]

I sold them at school.

[00:49:43]

School.

[00:49:43]

You're just phony tickets.

[00:49:50]

Yeah, that was my brief experience as a bookie of sorts.

[00:49:56]

You got caught?

[00:49:57]

I got caught.

[00:49:58]

What was the punishment?

[00:49:59]

The punishment was I got grounded for a while.

[00:50:05]

Did the nuns catch you, though?

[00:50:08]

Oh, yeah. I think the nun was the first one that caught it.

[00:50:11]

Did you get the ruler?

[00:50:12]

Oh, yeah. Well, you get the ruler just you're looking the wrong way.

[00:50:16]

What's the next step up from the ruler?

[00:50:19]

I don't know. That pretty much kept everybody in line.

[00:50:21]

I got you. That was enough.

[00:50:23]

Yeah. Dad, you've been DMing the New Heights social media media accounts, I'm impressed that you know how to send a DM and you know how to send a post to to somebody. They've all been about outer space. Every single one of them have been articles articles.

[00:50:41]

The last last I just I saw another thing about about about they have heard something. They have heard something. Now, nobody's claiming that this is- What they hear? -anything more than just- We.

[00:50:54]

Don't want to jump to conclusions.

[00:50:55]

That's right. But what we're hearing is that it does not appear to to be man But in in way it repeats, they said it's very interesting. But it was interesting enough there's a news article about it.

[00:51:08]

What was the publication of the news article?

[00:51:12]

I don't have something.

[00:51:14]

Something on I.

[00:51:15]

Don't think it was. I think I saw it on people.

[00:51:19]

Oh, okay. That's a reliable page.

[00:51:22]

That's not very reliable, actually. But you believe it's aliens. That's why you sent it to the New Heights page.

[00:51:28]

I sent it to New Heights Heights because you told everybody about me listening with the computer.

[00:51:34]

Yeah.

[00:51:34]

It's good.

[00:51:35]

I.

[00:51:36]

Thought that.

[00:51:37]

Was- Are you aware that we don't run the New Heights social? We don't answer the-.

[00:51:43]

It's just Jake.

[00:51:45]

It's just Jake.

[00:51:46]

Okay. Jake from State Farm or.

[00:51:50]

Is this just Jake?

[00:51:51]

No, I don't think this guy wears wears Way less important, but still very important.

[00:52:00]

He's way more important to us, Jake.

[00:52:02]

This is great.

[00:52:05]

Is Jake complaining about the DMs?

[00:52:07]

No, he thought it was very.

[00:52:08]

Enlightening, actually. I'm very much a big fan of it.

[00:52:11]

It. Yeah, enjoyed every bit of it. Dad, do you think they were aliens?

[00:52:15]

What do you believe? I don't know. From what I read in.

[00:52:17]

This article- Nobody knows.

[00:52:19]

-this very well could just be a natural natural phenomenon, it is unique in that they haven't heard this before.

[00:52:27]

All right, well, that's fair. Let's get to some Christmas, though. We didn't talk any Christmas stuff.

[00:52:33]

What are your favorite Christmas traditions that we used to do at the house.

[00:52:37]

Growing up? Yeah, that's a good question.

[00:52:39]

When we would go over on Coventry and buy stuff for your mom.

[00:52:43]

That was a lot of fun.

[00:52:45]

Coventry was.

[00:52:46]

Great because there was a bunch of stores right in a row. You You just knock it all out. They had the jewelry store right there. Big Fun. They even had a little bit of jewelry at Big Fun.

[00:52:55]

They.

[00:52:56]

Had everything. It was such a a Is that still there?

[00:53:01]

The The It's downtown now.

[00:53:03]

No, they've.

[00:53:03]

Been to downtown.

[00:53:03]

I don't think it's it's in Coventry. Big Fun gone.

[00:53:05]

There's a very similar store, though, downtown that I remember walking past and it was like, Oh, my my gosh. Just reminded me.

[00:53:11]

Of Big-funds. There is. Yeah. There's one over by Beachland Ballroom. There you go. There's a little shop in there that's got a lot of… No, they don't have the candy and stuff, but they got a lot of the older toys and things.

[00:53:22]

There you go. Well, we're just taking you down Cleveland Heights history, ladies and gentlemen. Some of the fun things that we remember as a kid were the the muffins that moms used to to make single Christmas morning.

[00:53:35]

Yes. I had the the Honey Bay Am I misremembering? I feel like we always had the honeybaked ham cooked. We always ate it warm. Am I mistaken on that?

[00:53:44]

You buy it cooked or it's already cooked when you come home, bring it home.

[00:53:49]

Yeah.

[00:53:49]

Now if you had a huge family, you would put the whole ham wrapped up in that foil in the oven and let the whole thing warm up that way. Idea. But there's no way we're going to eat that much ham.

[00:54:03]

Right.

[00:54:03]

That's when I would would I would line a a pan, baking sheet with foil, cut off a bunch of slices, put them down, put a little brown sugar, extra brown sugar on on there.

[00:54:13]

Pineapple.

[00:54:13]

I wonder it was so good. Good. The up and we would make sandwiches.

[00:54:17]

Yes. Because Kyle's family eats it cold and it.

[00:54:21]

Is- That's not uncommon.

[00:54:23]

I know. Apparently, it's super common. Common. Which one What do you like it more? You like it it obviously I like it better. I like -like brown sugar melted on top. Yes. Yeah, that makes sense. All right, never mind. What is your favorite Christmas movie? And is Diehard a Christmas movie?

[00:54:40]

Diehard is not a Christmas movie. It's a wonderful movie that takes place at Christmas Christmas time-Yeah. -and it says movie would have been a hit no matter when they did it. Exactly. It's just the song at the beginning and the end was pretty cool.

[00:54:53]

Yeah.

[00:54:53]

Yeah. You know.

[00:54:54]

What that's. Sounds like you think it's a Christmas movie. Movie.

[00:54:57]

Can watch it around Christmas or with that.

[00:55:00]

What are you taking, taking, Die Hard or Four Brothers?

[00:55:04]

Scrooge.

[00:55:06]

Caddy.

[00:55:24]

Shaq. I like Caddy Shaq. That's not… Caddy Shaq is bigger than just Bill. Bill is not the main guy in in Caddy but….

[00:55:32]

You're John Gofrey. All right, well, before we let you go, Big Guy, have you enjoyed your your endorsement?

[00:55:40]

All the gifts, they were wonderful. I'm trying not to eat that many sweets now.

[00:55:46]

[00:55:51]

But I'm.

[00:55:51]

I'm He's sending this man all this resistible, irresistible candy.

[00:55:56]

How was your Christmas, Trav?

[01:00:18]

Fuck, the worst. I'm not going to lie. Sorry. I've had better. But it ended well. It ended well with good Christmas cheer and great people. Not bad. That's always going to save Christmas no matter if you lose to the Raiders or not. Okay. But we've been asking everyone how it's Christmas. Did Santa come to the Kelsey household?

[01:00:41]

He did. There was a question of whether or not presents would be there in the morning.

[01:00:51]

Yep.

[01:00:52]

But they were. They were there. Santa stopped by. Not a single ounce of coal was left. So I don't dodge the bullet there.

[01:01:01]

I don't dodge the bullet there. How helpful has Jason been in Christmas shopping?

[01:01:09]

How honest do you want to be?

[01:01:10]

Did Jason get you a gift? He did. What?

[01:01:28]

Yes, he is.

[01:01:29]

Well, he has the... What's the necklace?

[01:01:31]

It's a little necklace from my favorite jewelry store. Love that. Without fail, if he comes - It's a Kelsey blue right there. It is. I've heard that this was the Mama Kelsey gift, like every single year.

[01:01:44]

No, not in a necklace.

[01:01:45]

No, it was earrings and a candle.

[01:01:47]

And pistachios. Yeah.

[01:01:50]

I didn't know that.

[01:01:51]

And turtles. The little turtle chocolates.

[01:01:54]

From From candy?

[01:01:55]

I don't think those are from from Seed's.

[01:01:58]

I.

[01:01:59]

I Jason got me this necklace, and he also got me a transformer. He got me Optimist Prime.

[01:02:06]

I did. Is it the Optimist that- Yes. -turns into the car and the robot? Yes. Nice.

[01:02:14]

That's. I'm very excited about it. It.

[01:02:16]

But it voice command?

[01:02:18]

Yes. Here's the problem.

[01:02:20]

The kids are terrified of it.

[01:02:23]

We had it on for approximately 30 seconds, and there was just absolute screams of of terror, and had to immediately turn it off.

[01:02:34]

We haven't.

[01:02:35]

Gotten appreciated. No, it's been in the box. Every time they come downstairs and see the box, box, they're like, in the box. I'm like, Yes, it's in the box. You're not going to turn on the robot. No, I'm not going to turn on the robot every single time.

[01:02:46]

I would have to turn it on every time they - What were the favorite gifts for the girls? What did you see them light up for? Everything.

[01:02:52]

Everything.

[01:02:53]

I mean, wasn't any - Oh, White-assed for a rainbow bear.

[01:02:56]

She did. She flipped flipped her.

[01:02:58]

[01:03:16]

She had only been asking for Barbie.

[01:03:18]

Correct. Which she got one.

[01:03:20]

Ellie was asking for dinosaurs.

[01:03:22]

Dinosaurs. And got a lot of dinosaurs.

[01:03:23]

Probably too.

[01:03:24]

Many dinosaurs. Remember when I didn't blow up your spot about being involved in Christmas shopping? Yeah. I've managed that the way... I've managed that tone. All right, perfect. You got.

[01:03:38]

Me fucking tighten up over there. Can you explain to everybody how it works for NFL families when you have a Christmas game? Game? Like, you guys open gifts at home later after the Eagles game? Or how did that work for you guys this year?

[01:03:52]

Our plan, up until probably Saturday, was to do Christmas completely on the 26th. Basically to pretend that it wasn't happening on the 25th, and then suddenly that's Christmas Eve. Can't do that. The following morning after the game, Jason would be home for the full day, and we would get to do the full Christmas morning and then into Christmas dinner. We lucked out, and his schedule allowed him to be home Monday morning. We were able to do gifts Monday Monday morning, and dinner the 26th. We still did dinner the 26th because because we were a little busy. Then he likes to to lollygag, so were at the stadium until 10 o'clock.

[01:04:42]

Just in the... You're hitting the the.

[01:04:46]

Yeah, mopping his beard.

[01:04:47]

Oh, no. I don't know. Just taking my time.

[01:04:52]

Literally just mozing. Literally just mozing. Just in good convo with my teammates.

[01:04:56]

We said earlier, Kyle's episode on New Heights is our most popular show. The 92 Percenters have been dying to ask you all sorts of questions, Ky, since your last episode. We're going to do a little 92 Percenters question and answer session.

[01:05:11]

Of course. The first one is a follow-up comment from our episode earlier in the week. That's right. From @mollyrose4567, 1,000 % chance, Kels already misplaced his Rolex at New Heights. Heights. Yeah. Did Jason already lose his Rolex that he just got for Christmas?

[01:05:34]

No, it's upstairs by the town room.

[01:05:37]

I showed it to... To... The one with.

[01:05:38]

The one with the J. I showed it to...

[01:05:41]

I had no idea he got a Rolex.

[01:05:44]

I showed it to your dad last night at the dinner.

[01:05:47]

Was I still sitting at the table? I don't think so. The answer is no. I thought we were just not. I thought we were just not. I thought we were were done.

[01:05:54]

I thought we.

[01:05:55]

Were I'll give that round of applause. Jason has a loss.

[01:05:57]

Loss. All right, we go. I gotI.

[01:05:59]

Will say his Super Bowl Rolex, which is what I thought you were referring to, that is one thing that he consistently, I would say, can locate. Which is astonishing.

[01:06:14]

It is astonishing. I'm not going to lie because he does guarantee he doesn't wind it.

[01:06:19]

We got the box. Box.

[01:06:20]

That one of the Christmas presents from a few Christmas ago. I got a winding box.

[01:06:25]

Oh, nice. It just stays on the right date and time. I just leave it there. There. You it.

[01:06:30]

It.

[01:06:30]

I leave when I'm not.

[01:06:31]

Wearing it. Okay. I was going to to say- actually put that back? -you never wear it.

[01:06:35]

-you put that back. That's impressive. All right, well, there you go. If you have a guy in your family that has a watch, get him a watch, winder for Christmas, and he'll actually.

[01:06:46]

Use it. Kyle, did you see that the Olympic gold medalist skier, Mikaela Schifrin, I'm too far away. I think it's Schifrin, offered to help teach you.

[01:06:55]

You can zoom in on.

[01:06:56]

That, right? You can't. I've tried.

[01:06:58]

Well, okay. Well, then you better get your eyes checked. I don't know what else to tell you.

[01:07:03]

You. Here, I'll ask you. Kyle, did you see that the Olympic gold medalist, the skier, offered her help to teach you?

[01:07:11]

I did not see this. I only saw this because it popped up in some New Heights developments.

[01:07:19]

Oh, nice.

[01:07:20]

So.

[01:07:21]

You follow us on social?

[01:07:22]

It's on my For You page.

[01:07:25]

Yeah, please. Can you explain how amazing you were by the end of it, though?

[01:07:32]

The sarcasm is trying to hide behind the mic, okay? Here's the deal. If it.

[01:07:39]

- Is there anything you want to add to the story?

[01:07:41]

No, I really feel like besides the fact that this this Okay.

[01:07:46]

This man? What am I getting getting the for?

[01:07:49]

Besides the fact that this man was out there yelling at.

[01:07:52]

Me - I was not yelling at you. He was coaching you.

[01:07:57]

Aggressively. This man was out out there.

[01:08:03]

It's a little bit of a yell.

[01:08:04]

This man was out out there. It's what talked about it. I talked to Wyatt and Elliot. Pizza! It's not a yell.

[01:08:12]

This man was trying to explain to me about how to cut on the outside edge.

[01:08:18]

What? Inside edge edge or It's a pro.

[01:08:20]

Move right there. It's a pro skier move.

[01:08:22]

Here's the problem, Trav. I'm not an ice skater either. He He trying to explain it in ice hockey, skating terms. He was. And it wasn't clicking. Shocker. So if it were not for Keilly, I wouldn't have survived.

[01:08:41]

Oh, my goodness. She definitely.

[01:08:42]

Saved the day. Keilly Anderson, all props to her. She is the only reason that I made it out of Aspen a lot. I'm assuming most people have skied. I had never even clipped into skis before or been in skiing boots. They They have a forward so that you're constantly on your toes almost. Quads are burning.

[01:09:04]

Quads are burning.

[01:09:05]

For sure. Here's the problem with that. If you try to sit down, your butt does not touch the ground. Nope. I found that out the hard way when I got off the ski lift and immediately tried to bail onto my ass.

[01:09:18]

Can't go back. Back. Got to go side.

[01:09:20]

No. I must have been in a aerodynamic, aerodynamic, fully folded aerodynamic position for a good 10 seconds before I was like, It's not working. I had to bail out sideways.

[01:09:35]

There you go.

[01:09:38]

That was the moment I should have turned around. I should have gotten my ass right back on that ski lift. No, I'm not going to let you do that. But the problem is that I love a challenge. Yes. I love a challenge. See? And if someone's like, Physically, you should be able to do do I'm like, Then I can do it. And that is exactly what happened.

[01:09:55]

Then you did it.

[01:09:56]

I will will I think you said it took 45 minutes to get down that mountain. I think you were being generous. I think it took me a good hour.

[01:10:05]

Maybe a little more. I was being extremely generous. Generous. We got to the bottom of the hill 45 minutes before you did.

[01:10:13]

That's what I really meant. That's what I'm saying. I'll tell you what.

[01:10:18]

There was- I had five beers by the time I was at the bottom of the hill when we finally saw you in plain sight coming to me.

[01:10:26]

That was the scariest part because at the bottom is where all all of hills hills merged, and I was There's a lot of traffic at the bottom.

[01:10:33]

She's going to handle this. Yeah, I'm trying to get live.

[01:10:35]

I.

[01:10:35]

Got out the binoculars and was ready for.

[01:10:37]

Some action. There was one period. There was one- There's nothing more electric.

[01:10:42]

There was one steep drop-off, probably like 25, 30.

[01:10:49]

Minutes in. In. How did we talk about it?

[01:10:50]

It was a pretty short part of the hill. But I think it's where we had had the - was a mountain.

[01:10:57]

We need need to stop calling it hill.

[01:10:59]

Okay. I think it was the moment where Jason was like, We're not waiting for you.

[01:11:03]

Yeah, no.

[01:11:05]

I was going and veered left. If you veered too far left, you were going off the edge of the mountain. Yeah. I had this moment of.

[01:11:17]

I don't think I should be here. How far left did you go? I never saw that.

[01:11:19]

It was like a...

[01:11:20]

I remember this.

[01:11:21]

It was.

[01:11:21]

A drop-off.

[01:11:22]

I do remember that. It was trees and then a drop-off.

[01:11:25]

It It was trees and then a drop-off. Was a steep-ass drop-off, too. I remember that. Yes.

[01:11:28]

That That was moment I went sideways on the edge of the hill, mountain, and looked up at the clouds and was like, I think I should have gotten back on the ski lift.

[01:11:39]

Not.

[01:11:40]

To mention, like Jason said, I was in pizza the whole way down. I've had two hip surgeries. I'm not equipped to be at that angle for that long while pushing against the snow. Oh, my gosh. It was Hot Mess Express down that that hill, What?

[01:12:01]

Fuck.

[01:12:05]

You. You.

[01:12:07]

I think we're part of the whole At the end, the worst part was the little skiers coming past me.

[01:12:13]

Oh, Oh, yeah. Little little ones, kids just flying by. They were flying.

[01:12:16]

They were good. It was right at the end where you guys are talking about because it's where the fast people merged with the slightly slower people.

[01:12:23]

People.

[01:12:24]

100%. I came out to merge, and I'll tell you what, these freaking four-year-olds are just zipping past me. I was like, You know what? Big tree fall hard, okay? That's why I'm scared and you're fine. That's how I comforted myself.

[01:12:40]

Big tree fall hard. My favorite part of the entire day was getting the skis and just knowing that you were not even supposed to be on this mountain.

[01:12:51]

The woman literally looked at me and said, You shouldn't be here. With a dead face. I was.

[01:12:58]

Like, like, Got It wasn't like a a condescending You shouldn't be here. No, it was straight up.

[01:13:03]

Up. It was You should not be here. She said, How much experience do you have? I said, None. She said, You shouldn't be here. Then I glanced around at the eight other people that we were with and was like, Well, they're not leaving, so I'm not leaving. If you can't beat them, join them.

[01:13:21]

You got to be a trooper. You were a.

[01:13:23]

Fucking trooper. I'm going up there. There. You were a fucking.

[01:13:24]

Well, let's get to our next one from from We also need the shark story from Geilly. Oh, yeah. Jason is the best storyteller. But how did it feel that Jason left you out in the middle of the infested waters and on the mountain mountain twice, times.

[01:13:47]

Yeah.

[01:13:48]

Well, I mean, in defense, she was nowhere near the shark. So I didn't really leave her in a a position.

[01:13:54]

What does nowhere near the shark mean? Mean?

[01:13:57]

She was not anywhere I was in the same water he was.

[01:13:59]

Was.

[01:13:59]

That's what I'm You could see Kyle and you could see the shark. Yes.

[01:14:03]

It was hard to see see Kyle That's how far away she was. It was difficult. No, it wasn't. It was hard to see. It was hard to.

[01:14:08]

See her. Let me tell you why it was hard to see me. Because this man was in and out of the water a million times because he couldn't stay up on his board.

[01:14:16]

If the shark would have been anywhere near you, I would have jumped.

[01:14:20]

In and attacked him. It is the fastest I've ever seen a big man man was when he would fall in the water and then have to get back up on his his board because -Quick feet.

[01:14:27]

Quick feet.

[01:14:27]

You got to get up. Was not staying in that water. It's lava. It's lava. It's lava. This is before the shark. He could not stay in the water. Every time he fell in, it was full panic to get his ass back up on that board. He could not stay up. And to his defense, he was paddling out. And it was our understanding that if you were paddling out into the ocean, that it was harder to stay up. And if you were paddling in with the waves, it was much easier.

[01:14:56]

This.

[01:14:58]

This man... Just out out going around, paddling, checking out what was underneath us. I I around and this man is the first I've ever seen this man. I was like, Oh, look at him go. He's not even... All I said to him was, Are you done? He was like, Mm-hmm. Did he say.

[01:15:22]

Did you say? That's what you gave her?

[01:15:24]

Well, she was so far away from me. It was hard to hear what she said because she was so far away from the shark. It was hard to.

[01:15:31]

Tell what she was thinking. This was as he was paddling past me. Travis, he had to paddle past me to get into the shore. He had to paddle past me, and he didn't.

[01:15:39]

Say anything. But I was out there. I was with the shark. It was me and that one guy, and everybody else was...

[01:15:45]

Have you gone back in the ocean with Jason since?

[01:15:48]

Not with Jason.

[01:15:49]

Who did you go in the.

[01:15:51]

Ocean with? Myself.

[01:15:53]

All right, well, what was worse then? Being left on a mountain or being left in the ocean?

[01:15:58]

I feel like him not mentioning that there was a shark on his way past me is a little bit worse because it is an imminent threat to my life.

[01:16:07]

I would have mentioned it if it was an.

[01:16:09]

Imminent threat. This was... I feel like this.

[01:16:11]

Is a- It was nowhere near you. You. I'm showing all It.

[01:16:13]

Wasn't a threat to you, Kyle. It was only a threat to Jason.

[01:16:17]

Well, that's because I was next to the shark. I feel.

[01:16:19]

This... Have you ever heard heard the, you get away from a bear? You just have to be faster than the slowest person.

[01:16:27]

You attack it. Okay, yeah. I've heard heard of.

[01:16:30]

One, too. I was his slowest person.

[01:16:32]

No.

[01:16:33]

He was like, every man for himself. At the very least, I know once I get past you- I.

[01:16:38]

Didn't want to ruin your experience. You were so far away from the shark and you're having so much fun. I didn't want to ruin the entire experience.

[01:16:43]

For you. Yeah, you got to keep positive vibes out in Hawaii.

[01:16:46]

I was fine with it. I knew they were out there. As long as I don't see them, I'm good. Nice. Honestly, if I did see them, I'd be a little fascinated. But I don't want to see them.

[01:16:58]

I just want to see sea sea I've seen one out there.

[01:17:01]

You.

[01:17:01]

Saw one? One what? What shark was it?

[01:17:04]

It was like a... I want to say it was like a bull shark.

[01:17:08]

It was like a- It's not a good one to see.

[01:17:11]

It might have been a bull shark then. I think bull sharks are one of the most aggressive ones.

[01:17:13]

The most. No, it was probably like a five-footer. It's probably like a five-footer.

[01:17:18]

Looked.

[01:17:19]

Like a great white, but it was about a five-footer.

[01:17:22]

It looked like you you had white.

[01:17:24]

You know what I mean? It didn't look like a hammerhead shark. You know what I mean?

[01:17:27]

It It.

[01:17:28]

Would like a.

[01:17:29]

Five-footer in.

[01:17:29]

In shark Yeah, I don't know.

[01:17:31]

It's a five-footer.

[01:17:32]

Yeah, it's a five-footer. Well, the guy that was snorkeling and showing us all the reefs and everything said he knew a shark lived down here in this cave, so he just went down there and just messed with it a little bit to get it to come out of the cave. Then the guy came out of the cave and the shark went right back in. Again, you just got to be faster than the slowest person, Kyle.

[01:17:52]

Just remember that. That's it. That's what he said. Kyle's slower than me. I'm going to just scoot on past her, and then I'm safe.

[01:17:58]

You got the next one.

[01:18:01]

From @susie_r, I need Kyle's reaction to Jason being nominated the sexiest man alive, please. Has Jason changed since receiving this huge honor?

[01:18:13]

Yeah, he has changed. I can see it in his eyes.

[01:18:17]

Am I more glowing?

[01:18:18]

You are. You look fabulous.

[01:18:21]

With your helmet. That's great. He has not changed. I am on record for saying that I knew this. This. Mean, I married.

[01:18:30]

Him, guys. Guys.

[01:18:31]

Right now. All the women that passed up on this, mine. Yeah, I knew this. This is a no-brainer to me. Yeah. He's still mine.

[01:18:45]

Does he look sexier than he's ever been? Or is it starting to fade.

[01:18:50]

A little bit? I will say.

[01:18:52]

It's fading a little little bit.

[01:18:57]

Is another time where it's just he... It's a pain in the ass. He's aging like fine wine. He's going in a Silver Fox situation. When we first started dating, he would have a random gray in his beard, and he would let me pull it. As I was was it, he would tell me how excited he was to get gray and to go white. I was like, Oh, gray hair, that's weird. Now I'm like, You son of a bitch.

[01:19:28]

Yeah.

[01:19:28]

Yeah, like, it up. Up. Well, he's like, Salt and He's like, Salt and pep. Well, he's like, salt and pep. He's salt and peppard on the sides. It's sprinkled in his beard.

[01:19:36]

Come on. He's just a well-seasoned gentleman right there. That's what I'm saying. Well-seasoned gentleman.

[01:19:42]

All right, moving on from @Brian Sanchez, 42.

[01:19:47]

Something- Oh, B. Sanchez.

[01:19:48]

Good old B. Sanchez. Can we get a reaction from from on the jacket she modeled for $100,000? Did you have any idea that the jacket would get.

[01:19:59]

That reaction? Absolutely not. Yeah. I am extremely grateful to.

[01:20:03]

The the McLaren that I for this. I don't even think Princess Diana's jacket would go for $100,000.

[01:20:08]

That would be insane. That would go go.

[01:20:14]

Would Would you.

[01:20:15]

Million easy.

[01:20:16]

Would you make an offer on it?

[01:20:19]

It? I'm not worthy.

[01:20:21]

You got.

[01:20:21]

Your own. I modeled that jacket because, Brian Hammond of the Eagle's Autism Foundation said that they would use this as as an to raise money for the foundation. We had absolutely no idea that auctioning one-off would be able to do that. Like Jason has said, the Mcalhenies have been involved in a couple of things involving involving It's so amazing to have their support. I mean, it's mind-boggling. I can't thank them enough for being that generous. It's pretty absurd.

[01:20:59]

Yeah. No, it was. It was extremely absurd. You killed it, obviously. You're just a star in every form of the word. Michael Michael at at mentioned that why didn't Jason bring jeans for Jason?

[01:21:19]

Yeah.

[01:21:21]

It's Kylie's fault not. She has three other children, not four. Nice try, Jason. Jason. That doesn't like a question.

[01:21:31]

Question. Think they tried Jason. Yeah, Jason. Jason didn't bring jeans for Jason because Jason thought that Jason was coming home in between. He was actually getting surprised by by Honey Yeah. He didn't know that Bo was coming into town, and because of that, he went to the hotel where Bo.

[01:21:50]

Was to.

[01:21:52]

See him beforehand have a little lunch, hang out.

[01:21:57]

That's where where it went wrong.

[01:22:00]

I was late as per usual. Well, you've got a lot lot your plate. Thanks, Thanks, But I probably should have been on time for this.

[01:22:11]

This. You weren't The party doesn't start till you get there, Kai. We all.

[01:22:14]

Know that. That's right. Yeah, everyone else was early.

[01:22:17]

We got a lot of comments from 92% about him blaming the the on you at the Kelsey premiere.

[01:22:22]

I would just like to say, Trav, the way you had my back.

[01:22:26]

Was incredible. Yeah, it was very good.

[01:22:28]

I wasn't going to let this guy dothat. I wasn't going.

[01:22:31]

To let this guy do that. I deeply appreciated that. That was very kind. Thank you.

[01:22:36]

Just trying to be a good brother over here. Kai, do you got any New Year's resolutions?

[01:22:42]

I don't think so.

[01:22:43]

No?

[01:22:45]

No. No.

[01:22:45]

I not big on resolutions.

[01:22:47]

Out here. I'm going to be honest. Social media has made it this whole thing of like, Let's go to the gym and let's get fit.

[01:22:54]

That's what I'm doing. Okay, well -.

[01:22:57]

Three weeks into.

[01:22:58]

The new year. I'm not eating bacon anymore. What? I'm done eating bacon. Why? Because I've had way too many. I'm definitely still eating bacon. I'll probably never have male again, though. I'm over male. I'm done with it.

[01:23:17]

Do you ever eat male?

[01:23:18]

Male? -no.

[01:23:20]

He hates male. He's giving up something he already doesn't do.

[01:23:24]

Do.

[01:23:24]

-this sounds like got to sacrifice something.

[01:23:26]

You know what this sounds like? This sounds like when you give up something for Lent, that's something that you don't actually like, and therefore it is not a sacrifice. Sacrifice. -what's Lent? He just say -You don't know what Lent is? I thought he said Lent. What's Lent?

[01:23:42]

Lent. Lent is the thing.

[01:23:45]

Yes. Nice, Traff. I don't have a a New resolution, but I wish you luck in your endeavors to give up up.

[01:23:53]

What are your favorite Christmas traditions that you had growing up?

[01:23:56]

We didn't have a whole lot of Christmas Christmas traditions. One that we did have was that my dad and I would always go and get the tree.

[01:24:04]

Nice.

[01:24:05]

We were a real tree family, and we did not cut it down. But we would go into West Philly and pick a tree because it was cheaper there.

[01:24:17]

West Philly. Did you guys go out to Redding or Lancaster?

[01:24:21]

No, we.

[01:24:21]

Did not. Not. No, it's on an actual farm out there. There's a tree farm out there.

[01:24:24]

[01:24:33]

It's fantastic, magical. It is so much fun.

[01:24:34]

Fun. Some of them do it Some of them do it right.

[01:24:36]

It really kickstarts the holiday feeling because you get to go out there, walk through a bunch of Christmas trees, just live in their lives, and then chop one down and take home its carcass. It's so much fun.

[01:24:52]

There you go.

[01:24:54]

By that, I I we get a fresh tree that lasts a really long time, and it's beautiful and smells delicious. It It smells of course. Course. Gotten a bird's nest the last two years.

[01:25:02]

[01:25:03]

[01:25:13]

No, but you know.

[01:25:14]

They did go nuts.

[01:25:15]

They think it's just like a stuffed animal, so they're just playing with it.

[01:25:20]

Can you stop with the bit? It's not funny. All right, I'll stop.

[01:25:24]

Did Jason ever tell you he had two birds living in his room? No. No. When he a a Yeah, he had two two birds.
