[00:02:59]

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you again for joining us for another episode of NICAP. I'm your favorite sports uncle, Shannon the start. The guy that just dropped down and gave you 15 pushups right quick in the Jess Jersey is your favorite number 85, Bringles Ring a Famer, one of the great route runners and end up the greatest.

[00:03:27]

The greatest.

[00:03:28]

One of John O'Gosico, Johnson, and the guy in the box to the top left, that's my dog. Me and this dude go, What? If you all want to do that, then start doing it. We're just not going to be.

[00:03:39]

Able to go wherever everybody's going to be in glasses. If you all want to.

[00:03:41]

Do this, not do it. We're J. J. J. Is going to wear everybody glasses. But you all want to do it? Now, during the season, I didn't bother. But once the season been over, I've been on the phone. We've been talking every day. That's my dog, you know it. Coach, Prime, the greatest quarterback of all time, one of the top five defenders in NFL history. I can't top five. I can't top five. I can't top all that. I can't top all that. I can't top all that. I can't top five. How are you going to talk about five? How are you going to put me in the top five? That's the thing you were jumping with. Last thing they heard was five. You can't do that. You jump at LT? What are you… I'm going to be scared of LT? This goes to the LT? You remember the last time. Tell me where we from. Where are you from? You remember the last time we met at the Hall of Fame and I got on LT and Ricky Jack. We started joining back stage. But we'll say that for a little later the show. Thank you for allowing us to be 467,000 subscribers.

[00:04:42]

We greatly appreciate that. Make sure you hit that like button. Make sure you click that subscribe button. We've also been shaped by LaPorte at the top of the chat. The holidays are right around the corner. Make sure you go out and get yourself a bottle for someone that you love. Time, we're going to jump right into it. The Ravens beat the Jags 23-7. The Ravens improved to 11 and four, or clinch to playoff birth. The Baltimore Ravens have won 11 games this season for the first time since 2020, and for the third time in the last five years. Lamar, 14 or 24, 171, one touchdown, one pick. Trevor Lawrence was 25 or 43, 264. One touchdown, two fumble. Time you watched the game. What do you like about the Ravens? I love them defensively. I love them defensively. They kept pressure on. They got so many playmakers upfront. Linebackers run from sideline to sideline, reminding you about Sugar. You used to run from sideline to sideline. They don't make a lot of mistakes, man. Defensively, they just don't make a lot of mistakes. When you have offense led by Lamar and they control the clock, man, they keep possession.

[00:05:54]

It's tough to beat them. It really is. Because he is so capable of doing anything. Making the throw, making the run, extending the drive to get the first down. I love what the Baltimore Ravers are doing right now. It's not spectacular, but I love how they do what they do. Ojo, and you watched and you saw Lamar ran around for about three or four seconds, maybe even five seconds, throw the pass down the field, lively jumps up and catch it, and the defensive guy just sitting down and he looks up at Lamar like, Damn. You did that again. He's looking at his sidelines, looking at his team like, Bro, what am I supposed to do?

[00:06:29]

There's nothing you can do. Lamar is special. Lamar is dynamic. What I like about Lamar and what he's done is he's proved the doubters wrong, where everyone has said he is a running back. He's a run-first quarterback. But this season he's done something that we haven't seen him do consistently throughout the entirety of a season. He showed that he can be a pocket pass at first. He can process, make the reads he needs to make, and make all the throws, whether short, intermediate, or deep balls. And the players that he has are making the plays for him as you saw tonight. The funny thing about it is I could just sense the frustration in the defender's faces. You got Lamar, you got him tackled. You got him going down to the ground, and he's still getting the ball off and making the passes and completing them. And obviously, them being number one in the AFC North, rightfully so, based on their play the entire season.

[00:07:21]

When you look at Lamar, he should have been dispelled that myth, Coach. A long time ago. Because when you win the MVP, you throw 36 touchdowns, you throw six picks, and you are unanimous. There's only been two unanimous MVPs since they started voting for MVPs is he and Tom braided. So you're a unanimous MVP. You're no longer a running back, back, and through. You are a quarterback that can run when necessary. When you look at this team and the way they're constructed, great special teams. Lamar Jackson is Lamar Jackson. They can run the football. We know they get off the bus, they're going to run the football. We know that. Everybody knows that. And their defense, you mentioned, sideline-to-side line with the linebackers, a defensive line that doesn't have big names, but they can get relentless pressure in the corners. You still have Marlin Humphrey back there. Even though your free safety, Hamilton didn't play, we know he's a playmaker of free safety. What do you like most about this Ravens team and how far do you think they can go in the AFC? I like them, but I don't love them. The reason I don't love them is because they do everything good, but I don't see what they do great.

[00:08:31]

When you get to the playoffs and you get down to it, you got to have a team that could stop the run and can run the ball. They could do both. But then it comes down to Lamar, and that's why he gets criticized. If he don't have one of those Lamar Jackson games, we get critical because he has to put the whole entire offense and team on his back. That's why he receives the criticism. It is not warranted because he plays fantastic. This is the only MVP that we... How do you have an MVP holding out for money? It's true. Why they do that? It makes sense. But that's the thing with him. If he doesn't play great, we put it all on him, not the rest of his teammates. Right. Ojo, what are you thinking? What do you see? What do you like? What do you dislike?

[00:09:20]

Listen, I like what Prime said. The Ravens do everything good. They do everything great on defense, on the defensive side of the ball. But once we get to the playoffs, you think about some of the team that they're going to have to see, some of the AFC offenses that can put up points, which is about two and eight, 30 some points a game. Will the Ravens be able to match that even though their defense is good? What happens if you get into a shootout? What if it's a day where it's like the Cowboys? We have off day defensively, and you have to rely on the offense to be able to score points. Are you going against the goddamn Buffalo Bills, or you're going against people like the Chiefs or The Dolphins for that matter. Will you be able to have a shootout with a team like that? So Lamar Jackson, not only Lamar has to be on, so does that receiving core in Bateman, in Odale, in Brothers A. Flowers. All the boys got to be on, including thetight ends.

[00:10:09]

Yeah, I agree what both of you have to say. The thing is that when you are more a run dominant team, the problem that you run into, especially in the playoff time. Guys, you know this. If you fall behind, how can you do this? Is your offense for coming from behind? We know if you get the lead, you can take the air out of the ball and you can keep a Patrick Mahons off the field. You can keep a Toe off the field. You can keep a Josh Allen off the field. But if you fall behind, Taylor, 14 points and they force you- That's the problem. If they fall behind, everybody drops eight, they drop seven, man. You rush four and you make him hit the hole, you drop into the zone. You don't play, man. You just drop into the zone and make him have to pinpoint that pass. And that's what has a problem. Although he can throw. I don't know why they say he can't throw and he's not accurate because he can. But this is one thing is a question to me, man, that rubbed me the wrong way. Okay. Chad, maybe you could help me with this.

[00:11:08]

Yes, sir.

[00:11:09]

I love Lamar, and I think he's been criticized unfairly, just if I'd be so. But when is your homie that you grew up with? Like when he ops to go to another team, man, that right there, it made me say, What's up with that?

[00:11:26]

I didn't.

[00:11:26]

Know what was up with that. When your boy ops to go- Oh, you're talking about Hollywood? -to Arizona.

[00:11:33]

Hollywood. You're talking about Hollywood.

[00:11:35]

Yeah.

[00:11:35]

I can tell you what that is.

[00:11:38]

What's happening?

[00:11:39]

Well, obviously because Hollywood wanted to be more than a past first type offense. You think about the Ravens. The Ravens are a run dominated oriented offense. Correct. That way, it has always been that way. I think the dynamic is what forced Hollywood to want to go somewhere where he thought he would get the ball and get the opportunities.

[00:12:02]

But you see how that's conflicting, how that makes other receivers around the league feel about Lamar, and I love Lamar. I think he's that guy. But when you see that, that makes someone say, Yeah, why would I go there? I'm not getting no numbers. I'm not going to be I'm not going to pro bowl. I'm not going to be no pro. It just makes you think. I think it's unjustified. That's why I'm hoping... I think they changed their thought process and they went in the draft and said, You know what? We're not going to get around the free agency. We got a draft. No, because guys want to catch... Time you played 14 years, I played 14 years, you played over a decade as a wide receiver blocking this fight. You're like, Hey, I want my running back to get long runs, but I'm a receiver. I'm here to catch the ball, but it goes to show me. Now, I thought you wanted to win because you know the Ravens was winning when Hollywood was there. Now, he ain't come close to getting to... I mean, I think he went to the playoff what, two years ago?

[00:13:03]

I think they lost. They want to win nowadays, but they want to get paid too. That's a new man now. I want to win and get my number of time. Let me get a 100, 13, 100 yards. I don't know if it's that way. Win, then get the numbers. I think get the numbers, then win. It's a new player out there right now. But you know what, guys? Tell me if you're with me on this. Lamar Jackson, so much is on his plate that if he's off slightly, they're going to lose. Brock Purdy can be off slightly, but because he has a C-mack, he has a Debo, he has a Kindle, he has an I-U-K, they can overcome it. You look at Josh Allen. I think he and Lamar burden shoulders a lot more burden than, say, a Brock Purdy or a Daq Prescott. Because I think the biggest thing we're going to talk about the Cowboys is their inability to run the football, and they miss Zeke a lot more than they thought they would. But I think when I look at Lamar and I look at their team, everything is contingent on him.

[00:14:03]

If he's off slightly, they're not winning. That's right. But you got to understand, man, as much is given, as much is required. We can't hand you a bag. Everything you need better be in that bag. That's just okay. Everything you need better be in a bag. That's just how it is. And that's what we expect from all these handsomely paid quarterbacks because they've earned it. But you got to produce. You got to produce.

[00:14:29]

Yeah, I think the thing, right before we get off topic on Lamar, the thing with Lamar is he's so special. He's so special that there are certain things and certain dynamics that happen within a game that he can overcome. That he can overcome. If he's not playing perfect, all he's going to need is for Zate Floars, O'Dale, and Rashad Bayman to play consistent, decent football for four quarters.

[00:14:55]

The difference is like the quarterback not playing, because here's the thing, the four tobecause they can run the football. If Brock Purdy is having an off day, Krista McAfrey can run you out of the building. He still can go get you 125, 130, and get you two or three touchdowns. Because they're not incumbent on them throwing the ball down the field. Now, Purdy can throw the ball down the field, but look how many swing passes he give to Krista McAfrey or Texas Rock, he give McAfrey. All of a sudden, he's getting 10 yards or Debo. Don't forget Debo. Please don't forget Debo. Oh, man, Debo is a running... Once the ball is in Debo hands, Debo is as good a receiver. Then they have an all-pro tight end. Let's not get all these... No, let's not forget all that. Then you know you got the whole left side locked down with Big Trent. He locking it all down. But I just said, I won't I hold Lamar because the people that were shouting to you so hard on him, bro, he's an MVP. We're supposed to be hard on MVP. There's only three- You're not hard on him.

[00:15:54]

You have expectation. You're not hard. You have high expectations. That's what that is. Do you realize there's only three current players in the NFL that are MVP? Lamar, Patrick Mohones, and-. No, Rogers.

[00:16:12]

There's only three. That's right.

[00:16:14]

Should the expectations be there for unanimous MVP to be consistent? Look, we're not expecting you to throw for three hundred and for test down to every game, but there has to be a level of expectations given what you've already accomplished. We can't say, Well, Shannon, he's still young. Bro, he's an MVP, a unanimous MVP. He's been an old pro. He was selected by his peers as the best player in the league one year. So we can't regress because things don't go his way. It's not my arm. I just wanted the people to know that's not my arm. That's not your mic. That's not my arm. I didn't want them to think that was my hand. I didn't want them to think that was me. Okay, we're going to move along. We're going to go to the Cowboys. The Bills dominate the Cowboys, 31-10. The Cowboys are now three and four on the road, seven and no at home. They score a little less than 22 points on the road, score almost 40 points at home. People are upset for McCarthy leaving the start of then. I asked that very question. I asked because heading into the, I think, that had like 50, 60 yards with a little bit, with a little bit of like, 13 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

[00:17:28]

He got touchdown, yada, yada, yada. But when you watch the Cowboys, what do you not like about them, Ty'n? I love them. I'm not going to say it's one particular thing I don't like about them. I love them. I just want them to continue to be consistent. Don't fool me, man. Don't tease me. We don't like to be fool. We don't like to be teased. Don't take me all the way to the altar and then you're going to dip on me. Don't do that. Don't get me feeling that you're going to do something you don't want to do that. Don't get me in there. Don't you get me in there like that. Oftentimes, the Cowboys have the propensity to do that. I'm just hoping this was just one of those games. We've all had in our careers have had just one of those games where it just went right offensively, defensively. It just didn't work. You just got your butt kicked. Let's flush it. Let's move on. Let's go. Don't talk about it. Let's don't need to need about it. I don't even want to watch the film. Let's go on to the next game.

[00:18:28]

That's one of those games. Right. When you look at this game, though, you see the weather is what it is. The bill says we're going to run the football and we don't believe you can stop us because there's something to be said about a team that runs the football. It becomes personal. When you run the football, Ocho and time, we talk about this all the time. You're moving a man against his wheel. He got his hand in the dirt. You've got your hand in the dirt. And he says, I'm not going anywhere. And that offensive line would say, The hell you say you moving up out of here and here comes a cook, James Cook, running the ball 266 yards. Josh Allen was 7 or 15 for 94 yards. He said after the game, I felt like the kid that didn't participate in the science project and got a... Let that sink in for a second. What we're seeing, what we see, what I see is that when the defense can't turn you over, you can't get pick sixes and scoop and scores and the cowboys, you've got to fight tooth and nail. The entirety of the game, they turned it down more times than not.

[00:19:33]

Now we saw them go on the road and lose to Arizona team minus Kyle Murray. We saw them go on the road to San Francisco, and that ain't no shame because San Francisco been thumping hell out a lot of people. We saw them almost they lose, they give up 30 something points to the Eagle. That's not a good sign because more than likely you're going to probably have to go on the road. You're going to get to where you want to get, which is Las Vegas. You're going to have to go through San Francisco. It's going to go through the Bay. This is my problem, Shaik, and I don't know where you all stood on this, but you know I have an opinion. Of course. Cam said some profound things. Yes. A lot of people took shots at Cam, the man, not Cam, the quarterback. I don't understand because to me, Cam ain't really done nothing to us to critique him as a man. As a man, Cam has been outstanding as a man. Yeah. Okay, so where do we get that we don't honor the opinion of a former MVP? Now, see, this is one of those games where we don't like it.

[00:20:40]

That's right. Okay, that's what I'm saying. Forget the man. Right. Forget the man. His opinion, he's a former MVP. Now you start thinking about this is one of those games where your quarterback got to carry you, man. What we just got finished talking about Lamar, right? Yeah. Right, old Joe? We got all the pressures on the bar to put you on his back and do his thing. Yes. That was one of those games, man. That was one of those games. That might be what Kim was talking about. That's exactly what he was talking about. Okay, but what? Sometimes we'll miss the message if we don't like the message. If we don't like the message, if we like the message, even if the message is wrong, we'll receive it. But even if we don't like the messenger, the message can be, Oh, man. I love Daik, and I think Daik is fighting right now for MVP. I really do. I think that might have put him second now. That might have diminished him because of that. But those are the type of games where ain't none working. Hey, man, you all got to get on my back.

[00:21:51]

I work it. Because we criticize Lamar like that. Yes. Yeah, we criticize those homes like that. Yeah, we criticize all those guys like that, and those are those type of games, man.

[00:22:04]

But then when you think about it, we talk about that and not playing well. You talk about the receiving court really not being there. So that can succeed in a game like today where nothing is going right, especially for the Cowboys defensively. But then we give no credit to the Cowboys in the defense that they played against or whatever.

[00:22:22]

You mean Buffalo? I'm sorry.

[00:22:24]

The bills for the scheme that they had where they weren't able to run the ball, they weren't able to throw the ball. I'm not going into the third quarter. Jack had how many? I don't got my numbers in front of me. He had 60 somethings.

[00:22:40]

Listen.

[00:22:42]

Cd-land been cutting the fool for the past three.

[00:22:45]

Four weeks in a row. All year.

[00:22:47]

That too, all year. So what happened today? What did the Bills do so special all of a sudden? Because today's game is similar to what you're going to see in the playoffs. They're going to scheme.

[00:22:58]

A certain way. They got out on them and they made them one dimensional. If you really look at it, why did Mike McArthur get Miller killing more? He said he wanted to be more balanced. He wanted to run and throw the football. He wanted to be more 50-50, and he felt that they were a more pass-happy offense than a run. The Cowboys with the exception of maybe one or two games, they haven't run the ball this year like they did last year. They missed Zeke on those tough one yard because Zeke had like 12 or 13 touchdowns last year. Totally probably, I don't know why they thought a guy that was 185 is going to be your every down bag. Now, I'm not saying he probably was not. That's business, Shannon. That's not the preference of the better man. That comes down to business, and that's what it came down to. Don't it all come down to business. Of course. That's what it.

[00:23:47]

Came down to. $and cents always.

[00:23:49]

Right. But most have dollars don't make sense. That was 21 or 34, 134 and an interception. No touchdowns. The Cowboys were only five or 13 on third-downs.

[00:24:06]

Third-downs. But see, this is the opportunity. Like Cam was saying, like I said, I had to think it has a lot to do with who said what he said. Because remember, now you and I, when we was on NFL Network and we've been on a lot of shows together, you and I say the NFL was watered down. And old Shannon, you and time a haters. You all are old. Get your old self back on the porch. Tom braided, said exactly what many of us have been saying for the longest time, and everybody applauded. But what they didn't applaud was Tom braided was the chief beneficiary of this watered down lead. Now all of a sudden, it's like, Whoa, Shannon, you hate. I'm not hating, but I'm just telling you, you can't attack the quarterback like you once could. You can't attack the receiver. Time you came in- Chad would have went off. Chad, you do know.

[00:24:54]

But in today's-.

[00:24:55]

You'd have been a $30 million receiver. You do know that, Ray.

[00:24:59]

Man, don't do me like that.

[00:25:00]

30, 40. I'm telling you, 40.

[00:25:03]

But time, you remember when you first got to the league and when I came into the league and there was no defensive receiver and you could attack the quarterback? They were trying to hit your mama. They were trying to hit your mama in the stands back then, boy. Don't hurt my baby. I remember running loud telling one of our receivers, I'm going to kill you, boy. I said, no.

[00:25:30]

They.

[00:25:32]

Literally tried to... I mean, they're like, if they not, they didn't want to hurt you for the entirety of the season, but they tried to knock your ass out of the game.

[00:25:40]

The game. Oh, wait. That's all.

[00:25:43]

Do you remember ever defending a one-step slant? The way these guys run one-step slant, Ross, man, they'll lie back to single-terry. John Offordol. Your guy would knock you in the next week.

[00:25:56]

Yeah, you would make it.

[00:25:57]

They're not getting hit.

[00:25:58]

Right now. The game is different. The games are different. And back to what braided said, and as far as the league being watered down, this is because of the competition committee. This is because of the NFL, because the NFL wanting to make the offenses have score points, make the game more entertaining for fans, so fans could be engaged a little bit more. So now they've handicapped defensive players where they throwing flags on everything. You can't hit nobody in a minute. I said it trying to be funny in a minute. They're going to be playing two-hand touch.

[00:26:28]

But they did. Now they did. Because you remember that we were dead serious at the pro bowl come second half. We're trying to pay for everything.

[00:26:36]

That's the second half? Hey, that second half- That second half?

[00:26:40]

We tried to pay for everything. Because we got that bill? Yeah. We're the room service was what? Oh, no. Hey, man, we got to pay for this. We got to win. We was playing the paper, the room service, and the expenses, because you don't brought family members over there. You already did it. After you did it at one time, it was it. We learned that the first time. Never again. But time, you remember you and I talked about it? I said they're going to do away with this. I see them owners- They had to. -and Commissioner Goodell. They had to. I was like, How you go over there and you literally don't tackle football and you touch the guy and the guy stops? Yeah. I got a confession. I got a confession about the pro ball, man. I'm not leaning on that After I got that bill, I literally ordered a little refrigerator. You did. I was there that year. You ordered that refrigerator to have it put in your room. I had to put in my room and I went to the grocery store, I got some cereal and some milk. I said, We're going to stop this.

[00:27:46]

You all can eat breakfast right here. I don't stop this. You all go get some breakfast right here. You remember that time we had transferred to the Elana because we had to hit in the wine village. Oh, my God. Chad. Oh, my God.

[00:28:00]

You.

[00:28:01]

Had to hit in Hawaiian Village? Yeah. First of all, everybody was everybody. It was secluded. They used to let everybody in their momma with their momma, and they were in the hidden Hawaiian Village.

[00:28:12]

You run into everybody, huh?

[00:28:13]

You come out the room and just see somebody you went to high school with. It was open like that. I saw somebody I didn't go to high school with, but I wanted to go to high school with. You don't know what I'm trying to tell you? That's what I'm trying to tell you. Don't Man.

[00:28:32]

You all.

[00:28:33]

Shut out, man. It was some good days. Those were the days. It was back then you couldn't tell nobody. Hey, man, what room you in? You yelling if you want to. Yelling if you want to.

[00:28:44]

Hey, that all the whole Bill, the whole bill would be on you.

[00:28:48]

Be on your room. And you.

[00:28:49]

Don't know what happened.

[00:28:51]

You'd have told the wrong person your room number. No, man, I ain't even stay in here. The 49th is Blaster Cardinals, Blocker three, four touchdowns, zero interceptions. Now, Brock Purdy leads the NFL and touchdown pass with 29. He's second in the NFL and passing yards, and he's first in QBR. Doc is second in touchdowns, fifth in yard, second in QBR. Guys, when I look at the 49ers, it's going to take a herculean effort for some team to go in there and beat them.

[00:29:21]

They have to have an off day offensively. I'm talking about a complete off day.

[00:29:26]

Or.

[00:29:26]

Somebody got to be off.

[00:29:27]

Or one of the key guys get injured, like it was last season. That's what happened. You don't wish that on nobody. No. But that's what has to happen because those boys are playing some ball, man, and they playing defensively. Did you see the way that boy broke on that thing? Your award?

[00:29:42]

Yes. To Davias? Yes. Listen, that ain't number of film study and no one was coming.

[00:29:49]

That's all he did. That ain't nothing but film study and no one was coming. You can't think against yourself if you hesitate you beat. That's the difference between a PIG 6 and a knockdown pass. That's right. That's the difference. But when you look at this team because they can run it, you know they can run it. They know they can run it. When they stick that ball in the belly of Krista McAfrey or that backup running back, he goes, Get a running free. I used to free. I used to free. I used to free. I used to free. Everybody free.

[00:30:24]

I.

[00:30:25]

Mean, they're like, Oh, you get a touchdown. You get a touchdown. He could be the MVP as well. Mcafrey could be the MVP as well. Yes. He has 20 touchdowns total, and he's leading the league in Rush Yard.

[00:30:38]

Yeah, unbelievable. It's crazy. Wait, man, he got 509 receiving yards on top of that.

[00:30:44]

I love that kid, man. I love that kid. I love this father. That whole family, that whole family could ball. I think the housekeepers, everybody could ball in the house. But time right now, you and I have been in this business a long time. What's the better story? Our first round pig who far come from pedigree winning the MVP or Mr. Irrelevant? A seventh round draft pick, the last pick in the draft, winning MVP. Because sports is about stories. People, Oh, win. No, if it was just about the score, they would need color. They would need play-by-play guys because the play-by-play and the color, they give you the story of the game. Yeah, that's right. If it was just all about the score, they could just, okay, score the touchdown. We know what the score is, but they're telling you the storyline of the game and the best story right now, and it might be just like you remember when Kurt Warner won it a time in '99? Here's a guy that was bagged. The guy that came out of our barn, Starmers. And the next thing you know, he's the MVP. He wins the Super Bowl.

[00:31:56]

He's Super Bowl MVP. He deserved in that. Kurt deserved that thing. The greatest show on tour. I love this kid. I do love this kid, but I'm going to tell you where the Hayden going to start. It's going to start at the conclusion of it because they're not going to want to pay him.

[00:32:13]

They're.

[00:32:14]

Not going to want to pay him what he's worth. What they'll do is they start finding little things to knock his game, and that's not fair to him because the boy is balling. But they're going to say, Okay, go somewhere else and do it. Because here you have all those intangibles on the field with you like you just for mention. Yes. Are you really that guy? Or do you need all this assistance that only we can provide for you? Now that diminishes your bag. But when you come in like he came in.

[00:32:43]

And the.

[00:32:43]

Going rate now is 50, he's saying, I take 40. I'm good. You might not want to get because he's in the second year. He has three years, so next year he can really get the bag. You know what? The bag next year is going to be- You don't wait till the next year, though. You want to go ahead and get him now? You don't do that.

[00:33:01]

Yeah, you got to get him now.

[00:33:03]

Yeah, you don't let him go to free agency. You don't do that. If you let a man go to free agency, you don't want him. Yeah, and then because you know what happens when you go to free agency, you have to overpay to keep it.

[00:33:15]

That's right. But look what you just said. Look what you just said. Probably upstairs management is going to say, you know what? We don't want to pay you because you're playing so well based on the supporting cash you have around you. So then what do they do? What do they do if they don't think he.

[00:33:29]

Need to die? No, but you got to understand how he came up. He didn't come up like we came up. We were supposed to do what we did.

[00:33:36]

He.

[00:33:37]

Was supposed to do. He's misrelevant, right? Therefore, instead of getting 50, what they get right now, 40 a year straight with him? You know what I mean? You're getting ready to give me a quarter of a billion dollars for this? Didn't expect that. I'm good. I ain't been afraid with you all with that. I'm straight. Tried because you know- How they look at it, they're going to say, We believed in you when no one else did. We took a chance on you. I'm just free, Shannon. I was a civil round draft pick. I was the guy that came and asked you for a little bit more money. Well, you know, Shannon, we believed in you when no one else did. We got you. You got a great situation, a quarterback that loves you, the office. I was like, I don't understand all that, but can I get paid according to what I'm worth? I think the thing is with him, the going rate... It's like, I got to get with Justin Herbert. At least I won a playoff game. They always said they believed had he not hurt his elbow in that championship game, they believed they would have beat, feel it.

[00:34:44]

Her. They went back with this whole purpose to saying, This is what would have happened to you, you know what? Had I not gotten hurt. I hadn't seen it, though. I hadn't seen it like Kurt did it. I take that back. Kurt did it and Ramal did it, but I haven't seen a guy that wasn't to be that guy getting paid like they're supposed to get paid, except for those two. Kurt, Warner, and Ramal. They got it. But if you think about what he did, remember now what they gave up to get trade lands? That's their future. The only reason that we brush over it is because they got purdy. Do you understand how they would have been eviscerated if they didn't have a brought purdy? I like that word. I don't know what that means, but I like that word. They would have got destroyed.

[00:35:31]

That's a big word. That was out my context.

[00:35:39]

Hey, Ocho, we just hit a live 40,000 in the chat live right now. New record-I have 40,000? Congratulations, Coach, Prime, for joining us. Thank you. And doing this- I love it. You all know my dogs. You all know my dogs. You got to give me credit. I'll leave you alone during the season because you know how we used to talk. Not really. I'd be calling you if you do. But I'd be busy. You see all the jobs I got? I'm part of the making. You ain't ever too busy with us. I always check on Chad.

[00:36:13]

I checked on you. In't tell you what to do. I didn't want to bother you. I didn't want to bother you. But you did. But you lied to me. I didn't want to bother you. But you did.

[00:36:18]

Stop lying. You both of you all are lying. But you did tell me you was coming to see me. You told me you was going to come get on field with a receiver. They ain't seen you yet.

[00:36:25]

Wait, I can't because I got like 37 jobs right now. I can't even get out of town.

[00:36:29]

You don't work all year. You could have came in the summer. You could have came at camp. You could have came at camp. Wait, I have a- I want to talk about Shannon. Shannon be lying to me, but he will show up.

[00:36:39]

I got a question.

[00:36:42]

But he don't.

[00:36:43]

Want to... Okay. I got a question. Listen, I'm going to put you on the spot. I'm going to put you on the spot right now. Since I already have 37 jobs, let's make it 38. How about you hire me to come be the assistant receiver coach?

[00:36:55]

You don't want to do that. You ain't dedicated like that.

[00:36:58]

I didn't have structure. You were in the disciplines in 1968. You dedicated to.

[00:37:02]

Play, but you ain't dedicated to coach. You ain't like that.

[00:37:07]

You basically you're going to try to give me some mumbo jumbo and just say, you know what? I don't want to hire you. Why don't you just say no? No, I.

[00:37:14]

Will bring you in as an analyst. But you can't be there every day. You ain't going to be there every day. I know you. You do know I know you.

[00:37:22]

Listen, I love the kids. I got in.

[00:37:25]

Love with them. You love the kid. You love the game. But you're not going to be there every day. Where's your coach?

[00:37:32]

Where.

[00:37:33]

I'm going to be at? He'll get back at us. He text all of us this morning. He'd get back at us. But see, before he got the job, when he didn't have the job at Jackson State, we talked at least four or five times a day. Really not about football, just a lot about a bull drive. He's going to Jackson State and I call two or three times a week mainly about bull drive, a little bit of football. But when he got there, that's the first year I said I got to let him get his feet wet. Let him get in there. Let him get his bag out, and then you know I will hit him up. Now, this year ain't going to be like last year because you already know what to expect. You don't got in good. So now I'm finna act the fool.

[00:38:10]

Okay, there you go. I'd say that. You know what I just thought about? I done got turned down to brothers that I love. You all are supposed to uplift me. I don't ask both of you all to do something for me.

[00:38:22]

What did?

[00:38:23]

I don't ask, right? I've been begging him for three months. Man, get me on first tape. He done sold me a dream. I don't ask you to let me come be a coach at or assistant.

[00:38:35]

At.

[00:38:36]

Colorado. You done told me no. So both of you all done turned me down and we got a bunch of people. We know you.

[00:38:43]

You do know we.

[00:38:43]

Know you, right? Are you all supposed to be helping me climb the mountain?

[00:38:47]

No, I heard what Shannon did to you, but he was right. He said, Let me get in here first, and let me work it out, and let me do my thing. He had.

[00:38:55]

Been in there three months.

[00:38:56]

Three months. But he ain't all the way yet. He don't know everybody's name. He just getting in there and he just getting straight. He just got the whole makeup situation straight. So he just getting that right. See, I know you. You dirty time. You dirty. You dirty. Chad told me to say that. Anyway, he got all that straight now. He's good. I know you. I've been knowing you. You know I know you.

[00:39:22]

If you give me a job, I will move to Colorado, man. I will uproot everything in Miami and I will come to Colorado.

[00:39:29]

You know that I promise you. Well, if grandma was to lie right now, she'd cuss you at. A lot of people tell me that. You know grandma was to lie right now, she'd cuss you at. Now you know. I'm telling you- Now you know. I'm telling you- Well, I'm talking about his grandma. That was my girl. He know grandma cussed him out if he's alive. Grandma know I know you.

[00:39:44]

I got my right-hand up.

[00:39:46]

I've got my right-hand up. That's your level, though. That's your level, but okay. On TV, that's you right there. But we don't see you. That's why we know you. Because we all know you.

[00:39:59]

Listen, I just want opportunity, man. I'm trying to get with you all.

[00:40:03]

I'm trying to get an opportunity. I give them a platform to get them on here three, four times a week. I got the pool of teeth. Hey, you coming today? You on the day? Is it? Tell me, has he been on time?

[00:40:15]

I'm always on time.

[00:40:17]

I ain't never late. Now that's a lot.

[00:40:18]

Now, that's a lot. Listen, I might not well watch that work, but I'm going to be on time.

[00:40:24]

I don't know about all that. Now, but you know what- Historically-.

[00:40:29]

I'msure I've been late nowhere. I set my watch five minutes ahead on purpose, so I never be anywhere late.

[00:40:37]

Do you really want me to call Marvin Lewis right now?

[00:40:39]

I ain't never showed up late to no meeting.

[00:40:45]

You know you're lying.

[00:40:46]

Not that. I got CTE. I can't remember.

[00:40:50]

You lived at the complex. How you live at the complex? You was late.

[00:40:53]

That was when all I understand. Oh, no, because nobody woke me up. Nobody woke me up. That was early in my career, man.

[00:40:59]

Do you remember the strength and conditioning coaches, Chip and Friday? Cincinnati Bangers. I'm talking to you.

[00:41:08]

Yeah, Ray. Ray, Oliver and Chip, Chip Morten.

[00:41:12]

Yeah, and then Friday came in as assistant. Okay, so you know I know them. They were with me in Baltimore. Okay. Yeah, we know everybody know each other. It's like a fraternity.

[00:41:21]

We're all family, but I don't like things being said about me that aren't true. Sometimes, you know... That was true though. One thing about that, I'm never late.

[00:41:32]

No, that was true though. You was late and you lived in the complex. How do you do that? But you said they ain't wake you up. It's like you being in the grocery store and starving. How you starving a grocery store? How you starving? You're working at a grocery store. I don't understand that, though.

[00:43:50]

Time. Me and on this next one. The Chief beat the Patriots 27-17. We have a- Ain't no one care. This is what we care about. Ocho and I had a $200 bed. He said Cedarius- What? You have a $100 bet. He said.

[00:44:01]

What's your $100 bet? What?

[00:44:03]

You have a $100 bet? He would have cut the money, though. God know that's a lie. Cedarius, Tony wasn't going to have another drop. He was. He did it in the same place. I mean, I love that. We had to... Yeah, I saw that. I saw that. You know what? Matter of fact, they cut away. It was either to the quarterback or the coach was like, Man, I'm tired of this. They cut away to one of them and showed their face. Patrick was cursing. He was cursing. He's like, I don't have you back. Now I'm tired. I'm tired. I'm tired. He probably was over there on the sidelines and I'm tired.

[00:44:40]

Wait, I made a bet?

[00:44:43]

Yeah. Don't do one of dollars. Run me my money. You sound like you, though, because you always defend and receive.

[00:44:49]

I'm supposed to defend receivers. I used to drop balls, too. I know what that feel like. I know what it feel like.

[00:44:57]

You what? I never heard you admit that, though.

[00:45:00]

Yeah, I think I can play-.

[00:45:02]

I need you to put foot in front of the balls, okay? Just say foot, because you're dropping them. Come on. We're gone. Don't do that. Don't do that. My kids do that all the time. Don't do that. Because he always looking to get me time.

[00:45:16]

Listen, I know what it feel like. Right now, Caderius, Tony, his confidence is a little shot. Just a little bit. What he needs right now is he needs the uplift in, not from us, not from us media. For me, he going to hear from me. I'm a big up here no matter what, because that used to be me. I used to drop balls. I had also put balls at times. It would come off my hands. It would come off my hands and it'd be an interception. I know what that feels like. I know how deflating that is as a player. Am I going to pile on him? No. After this, I sent KT a text. Boy, keep your head up, boy. Get back to work and keep.

[00:45:58]

On working. How about keep your hands up? Get back because they're mad.

[00:46:00]

Just have to work and keep on working. I'm going to text Pat at my home. Don't show up your receiver on national television. He didn't mean to, but.

[00:46:08]

He was in the moment. First of all, Pat had his back last week. He had his back. He had his back. How did man line up a foot off size? And did he mad when they throw the flag? I've seen that.

[00:46:22]

They're teammates.

[00:46:24]

I've seen players today getting mad when they wrong, but you check them by day wrong. How are you mad at me? Gunner, come on. You must be asleep, man. You know it late.

[00:46:37]

Wait, you got dogs, too?

[00:46:39]

I got a dog, Guck. He got a Kenel.

[00:46:42]

What dog you got?

[00:46:44]

He has aI got a... You made me just go blank right then. A Malawi, a German Shepherd? Malawi, Belgium, Malawi. Belgium, Malawi. It's like the uncle of a German shepherd. It's like a dad. It's the top of the line when it comes to the police dogs, the.

[00:46:59]

Military dogs.

[00:47:00]

Yeah. They'll jump over this desk on the other side and just walk off like it wasn't done. They're smart, but they have a lot of work time. No, they got a lot of energy. You need to burn that off or he'll burn it off by tearing up the house. Yeah, that is true. That is true. But Dolph... Chad was like a mile away. He had a lot of energy. The Dolph is. I told you I told you I'm trying to- You put that thing on the tire. You on you.

[00:47:30]

Hey, stop. Listen, you might be the greatest. You are.

[00:47:33]

The greatest. You're going to talk to me.

[00:47:37]

Take the mic out. You wouldn't have touched me at the last... What do you mean who? If you go, who you care. I'm talking to you. Don't play. First of all. Don't play.

[00:47:46]

Okay, you're going to run me. I don't need.

[00:47:49]

To run you. I can do one thing that nobody else can.

[00:47:53]

Get off that.

[00:47:54]

Line of screaming.

[00:47:55]

I'm going to put so many hands on you. I guarantee you're going to file. You're going to go break a police report.

[00:47:59]

Listen, don't do me like that. Check my resume. Don't do me like that. It's one thing you won't do.

[00:48:08]

You're going to.

[00:48:08]

Touch me off the line? These feet? You're going to touch these feet off.

[00:48:12]

The line. Did you forget about Did.

[00:48:14]

You forget.

[00:48:15]

About these feet?

[00:48:17]

Listen, they paid you to cover people. They paid me for my.

[00:48:20]

Feet for a long. They paid me to put butts in seats.

[00:48:23]

You know what's funny? I did that for a decade, too.

[00:48:30]

Yeah. The time you go, all right, don't grab me. That was a hard play. You can put hands on people.

[00:48:37]

What do you mean? When I played, you can put hands on people. Listen, it's a reason we play those seconds.

[00:48:45]

You'd have thought I was bending. You'd have thought I was bending. You'd have thought I was bending. You'd have thought I was bending. I'd have had.

[00:48:49]

Them hands on you. Listen, you would have came out there playing. You would have got a communion. You would have got a...

[00:48:55]

Who?

[00:48:56]

You got the right one. You know better.

[00:48:59]

You got the rest of you. You know you're getting me. I've been trying to tell you. You know what? When I see you is on sight and ain't coming for what they eat. Ain't coming for that. You better say that. I know you ready. I know you ready to jump in here. I know you're ready to jump in there. I know you're ready to jump in there. He going to come to my house, my building, and talk about me like a dog. He's talking about me like a dog, man. Let me tell you how you be released inside. The only guy... He only got two toes on that right foot. You know what I'm saying? No, that's bad, man. You both be praying with me, and you coming at me. No, that ain't right, man. That's my dog.

[00:49:44]

Listen, we're going to pray for him. We're going to pray for him. But I know one thing. I don't care where I see you. It don't matter. It could be at the game. It could be at church. We could be at somebody's funeral. We could be in the street. We could be in the parking lot. It's on-site every time.

[00:50:00]

But you know what? I'm proud of you because you spend a lot of time with your wife and all that. Don't let me catch you with your wife. What happened? She don't look at you the same.

[00:50:09]

Should me. If you think I'm going to look at you the.

[00:50:11]

Same, what you got to do? She don't look at you the.

[00:50:13]

Same when I get done. If you think I'm going to lose in front of her, you got another thought coming.

[00:50:17]

Don't let me catch you with your wife is on sight. Time he losing in front of her and 85 and other people too. You're knowing you're losing in front of your wife. She ain't going to.

[00:50:26]

Look at you the same no more. Hey, but that's a bad thing when you're losing in front of your wife. You can't lose in front of your wife. Listen, and we just planned. Imagine you get in the fight and your baby, she got to help you get up and you get knocked out.

[00:50:37]

You get home- She got to tell you baby was okay.

[00:50:39]

You can't even raise your voice no more.

[00:50:42]

The people in the chat saying, Reivers locked you up and Reivers admitted the time was the go. So if the guy had.

[00:50:50]

Locked you up- Hold on. Listen, let's stay with this. Let's stay in context.

[00:50:54]

The chat saying Reivers locked you up. Revers said time was to go. What do you think time would do?

[00:51:04]

You all don't understand. Revers also said, ask Revel, who did Revel say the greatest rock runner of all time was?

[00:51:10]

I don't know how he would know because you couldn't get off the line.

[00:51:13]

I was off the line. What did you talking about?

[00:51:17]

What?

[00:51:17]

Passes were just incomplete. You all have to understand context. You all just get enamored with all the stat lines. Then we talk about- You know I'm a coach, right? Listen, we talk.

[00:51:27]

About- You know I'm a coach, right? I know about all the stuff you're talking about. You know I'm a coach.

[00:51:32]

Yeah.

[00:51:32]

But- We're.

[00:51:33]

Talking about you.

[00:51:34]

We're talking about you. Before you go any further, I need you to run my money on what you call him? Zach Wilson, too. Another 200. What happened? He didn't get 300 passing yards today.

[00:51:44]

What did he do for the day?

[00:51:46]

Probably 25.

[00:51:47]

What did he do for.

[00:51:48]

The day? Twenty-five. For real? Twenty-six, my bad. Twenty-six yards.

[00:51:52]

No, for real. What did he throw for the day?

[00:51:53]

What did he throw for the day? Twenty-six yards. Nobody do for the 26 yard no football game.

[00:51:57]

Stop playing. What did he throw for? I'm asking you. How many yards did he throw for?

[00:51:59]

He threw for 26 yards. Now, run me my money. I should have gotten money. He must have gotten money. You can't get money. They're talking about the game. Yeah, say that.

[00:52:10]

Wait a minute. Well, bet off if he got knocked out the game.

[00:52:14]

There's no bet off. There ain't no bet off.

[00:52:17]

If he.

[00:52:18]

Didn't finish.

[00:52:18]

The game, I'm a... I don't want to fight.

[00:52:21]

I don't want to fight. Hey, Tim, you remember? Hey, man, I got you. No, you don't put that money down. Money out of sight or call the fight? Nope. You rolling dice and everybody telling me, Oh, I got that. No. I ain't rolling the dice. Don't do no dice. You ain't rolling the dice. I pitch to a line. You pitch to a line. You pitch to a line. You pitch to a line. You pitch to a line. I make that thing lean on you. I make it lean on you.

[00:52:45]

I make.

[00:52:45]

It lean on the wall.

[00:52:46]

We call it get like me.

[00:52:48]

Yeah, that's what.

[00:52:49]

You all call it. We call it get like me.

[00:52:51]

No, we just call it pitching. To the line, we pitch in a cup, all that. We pitching a line, we're not pitching a cup now. Anything that we can get some money off of? They did that at the fail. See, I know you from a small town, you know about the fail. Yeah, I love that fail. Matter of fact, they tried to put me out of six flags one time. I got anointed to win the game. The one you throw the hula hoop over the back, and I throw that hula hoop like, boy, look at him. I'm taking stuff down on the left and right. Then you got the little one you throw the little ring around the little bottle top. Then I threw that thing right at things and just stopped on him. Then you got a little basket that you throw the little softball halfway, you spin that joker back with that joker. Just sit up in there. Man, he got to go. He got to go. He got to go. The Jans, 30 nothing to the Dolphins. The Jans, not Dolphins. They got a little friction. Little friction on that team. They upset.

[00:53:54]

They upset with the quarterback playing. They upset. The receivers are upset.

[00:53:58]

Oh, we're going to blame them on the quarterback?

[00:53:59]

No, the jets. Okay.

[00:54:03]

I thought you were going to blame.

[00:54:05]

Them on the quarterback. They got a great receiver. They upset.

[00:54:07]

They're upset that they.

[00:54:08]

Can't move the ball.

[00:54:10]

Gary Wilson, the real deal. That's what I'm talking about. Well, it's hard to move the ball when the quarterback on his ass back then. You can't even make a.

[00:54:17]

Three-step drop. He got to be able to see the game, too. But let me ask you a question. Last year, Gary Wilson won Offense and Rookie of the Year. So what's the difference now? Zach Wilson had to play more this year than last year. That's the only difference. So you tell me what it is. Remember Mike White? Mike White got the job beat him out. The guy that's the backup in Miami now? Yeah. Okay. You know the guy that they were wearing T-shirts, Mike White, we support Mike White. When Zach Wilson was the quarterback, imagine that, Ocho. You're the wide receiver. But they were in TJ Houshman's other number, the offensive line and the defense wearing TJ Houshman's other. Yeah, exactly. Now, run me my money. Four hundred.

[00:55:03]

What?

[00:55:04]

You said 200. Why are you eating like that? Why are you eating like that, man? Well, I got to see the whole doughnut in your mouth when you eat. Hey, try. And it's lived with that asher before the glaze.

[00:55:15]

Hit it. I lived in Asher?

[00:55:18]

No, you lived in Asher, though. But I don't want to see the whole doughnut when you eat that. That's a pet pee. Smacking is a pet peeve, especially for a woman. You might want to go. If you Okay, you all are at the dinner. She's all tired. I'm talking about she's like 5, 7, 5, 8, nice complexion. Hair down to a shoulder. Her hair. She didn't buy. It didn't come from India or out of Horst'sale. Youso she's like... You all need to stop now. First of all, stop talking like that because I'm in the portal. But go ahead. Let's keep going. But go ahead. We all are getting in the theater. But go ahead, Shannon.

[00:55:55]

I put me in.

[00:55:57]

The portal. Go ahead. You know they put me in the portal. But go ahead, Shannon. That's bad. That's bad to my head the portal. They put me in the portal. I ain't just get in there, but go ahead. She's talking. You all having a conversation at the table and she smack a little bit. You might see a little food in the mouth. But- Baby, look here. Excuse me, look here, baby. We can't do that. We can't do that. That's a pet peeve of mine. Of yours? I can't do it. I can't do. Certain things I can't do. You all killed me, Ocho. Now see, he said that's his pet peeve. That's one of my pet peeves. I got a plethora of pet peeves. That's one of mine. Hey, Tyra, what about your question? Can a woman pass gas in front of you? Uh-uh. I think that's my thing. No, you can't do that. You better hold it. I don't care your stomach.

[00:56:50]

You better hold that.

[00:56:51]

Thing and walk out with it.

[00:56:53]

There's.

[00:56:53]

Something wrong with.

[00:56:54]

You all. You can't do that.

[00:56:56]

Listen, you know what?

[00:56:57]

Listen, you know what? If the woman you claim you love can't pass gas, which is natural, and she got to go to a whole other room just to.

[00:57:06]

Do it? That ain't law. So she's having a competition with you, Faud? So she's having a fight?

[00:57:11]

No. Sometimes you got to let it go. You all are having a fight?

[00:57:16]

First of all, how we get to the point where that happened, and that's cool, and we ain't going to talk about it. How I get to the point where, first of all, you had to do it so much it just made her comfortable to do it. Let's just get that straight.

[00:57:28]

No, how about we're so comfortable with each other that we don't have to.

[00:57:33]

Go- No, we're not going to get there. You're so comfortable and you're so nasty that she felt like, man, we're going to get mad.

[00:57:40]

That's right.

[00:57:42]

Just like that. Don't say that. That's slow. Just say that. I'm not doing that. I'm not sharing. I don't need you on that.

[00:57:51]

You know what?

[00:57:52]

You got to be a little bit of class.

[00:57:55]

I graduated. Class? I graduated. I didn't grow up with the royal family. I'm from Liberty City.

[00:58:03]

Class? Where are you from? I've been down.

[00:58:06]

Class is out.

[00:58:07]

Yeah, I've a full mind. All right? No, we're not doing that. There's something- We're not doing that. There should be some secrecy in the relationship. There got to be some rules to the game.

[00:58:18]

No, we don't need rules to the game, though. That's rules.

[00:58:21]

There's rules to the game.

[00:58:22]

Listen, rules is what's got us in the position we're in right now as a people. That's the goddamn problem.

[00:58:27]

Let me give you one. Let me give you one, and I need a real answer and you can't lie.

[00:58:31]

Give it to me.

[00:58:32]

Have you ever heard your mama fart?

[00:58:36]

Yeah.

[00:58:38]

I know you're going to say that.

[00:58:41]

I'd have heard Paula Antoinette, Johnson, past the ass. I know you're going to say that. Yes, sir.

[00:58:44]

No, my mom ain't never heard my mama fart. Never. Mom or grandma or sister? Never. I ain't never hurt my grandma fart. You come from that. You come from none of them. None. I love your mama. I love grandma. You don't love grandma. But you cover Nancy.

[00:58:59]

Do you understand? Yeah. That's what I was on the field too, Nancy. That's how I know you the guy.

[00:59:03]

That's worse. Listen, we're not going to the field. I'm not talking about not one woman. I'm talking about cousins. Not one. To my daughters. I'm talking about aunts. None. Never going to the bathroom. Never.

[00:59:16]

Fellows, fellows, fellows.

[00:59:17]

My youngest daughter, she'll go in my office, break one-off man. She ain't going to lie to you about that. She ain't going to lie to you about that.

[00:59:22]

Fellows.

[00:59:23]

Listen, I.

[00:59:24]

Got to get you. I got to put you all boys in therapy, man, because you all can't live like this. Now we got to put you in Wait, stay with me, baby. You all can't have women scared to be themselves around you when it comes to things that are natural. I don't like that. I don't like that. It feels like imprisonment, and I want better for you all. No. I'm going to get on you all about.

[00:59:44]

This later on. There are certain things that women say, you know what? I won't tolerate that from a man. If you can't go into another prison. What? Appreciate it. If I'm asking you, baby, just don't pass gas around me. If that's too much, we don't need to be together. We really don't. First of all, we don't even need to have this conversation. Okay. We should be... We had this conversation about... I'm talking about not us.

[01:00:12]

I'm just saying- In general. Oh, in general. Okay.

[01:00:14]

No, you don't even have this conversation with your woman.

[01:00:17]

Wait, you don't have it. You don't have it. I'm just saying in general, there's something.

[01:00:21]

That's just- How did it happen? -just natural. -so how did it happen?

[01:00:23]

I think me.

[01:00:24]

And my brother were talking about it one time. I see because you know he nasty. I see him far so much that he went ahead and blessed it. Baby, you know what? You're going far too. Now you don't have to hold your- Not around me.. Now it's a contest.

[01:00:42]

The woman got to use the bathroom. She got to go way into the other room. She got to go downstairs. That's like, it was just, I think we talked about this a few shows ago. It was to the extreme and what a woman had to do.

[01:00:54]

To do- It ain't no extreme. I told her she got to go to CBS or go to Target to use the bathroom. It's true. We got six bathrooms in the house.

[01:01:02]

You got to go way across the… She got to go to the east.

[01:01:05]

When you use bathrooms, you better fold that toilet paper up and bend it. You know like to do in the hotel. You better fall back. That's how he get down. You all know that. You're nasty. You know what I don't like?

[01:01:22]

You know what I don't like? See, I remain my true, authentic self, traveling and public.

[01:01:29]

You're authentic, nasty.

[01:01:31]

Listen, you all are nasty too, but this ain't the place for you all because you all can't do that. I did me. This is me all day, 24/7.

[01:01:39]

But this is us. No. You can't accept us for being us. We're except for.

[01:01:45]

You to be in you. Listen, we all cut for the same cloth. You all ain't up to here to pull a wool over my ass. You all ain't cut.

[01:01:50]

From the same- In front of your man ain't normal. What? That's this new age thing.

[01:01:59]

We're in the same age bracket now. We're just talking about it. Come on, man.

[01:02:03]

In front of you, old man ain't normal. All right. Hey, Shannon, do a poll. Can you do a poll? Yes. Run a poll. They don't know. What do you mean they don't know?

[01:02:13]

They don't know.

[01:02:14]

They don't know. Let me go to the fan questions. Lady Ray asked, Shannon Ochoa's biggest pet peeves about women besides passing gas and not eating McDonald's. Coach, Prime, what is another pet peeve of yours? You say a woman smacking with a mouth open. You're a woman smacking. What about dress? What about dress? Do you have a problem with them? No, your nails can't be beat up. Like your nails- You want to manicure them? Yeah, they can't be toed up, though.

[01:02:44]

That's my only pet pee right there. You just hit right on it.

[01:02:47]

Your.

[01:02:48]

Nails can't be toed. I am a nail connoisseur, and I'm fascinated with manicures and pedicures and your feet and nails always being done.

[01:02:57]

Yeah, we know you like feet.

[01:02:59]

Yeah, I don't care nothing.

[01:03:01]

About it. He'd suck toe like Pop Circles, but that's a whole other thing.

[01:03:04]

Yeah, do. You know what? I'm not even going to ask you that because you're in a different- No, but.

[01:03:09]

I know you like that stuff. I mean, that Shannon was talking about how you're- Can.

[01:03:15]

I ask you a question? Yeah. Where are you from?

[01:03:18]

Fort.

[01:03:19]

Myer. You're from Fort Myer. Where is that? Where Fort My is at? Lauderd. Okay, you're from the crib. Now we do exactly the same. Okay, next topic.

[01:03:26]

No, we're a couple of the same place, doesn't mean we can say that.

[01:03:28]

Hey, listen. Lauderd, big state.

[01:03:30]

Listen, all the big states.

[01:03:32]

Don't do that. Me and you, I was with you. Me and you, I was with you in 1992. That's a lie.

[01:03:40]

But anyway, that's a lie. But anyway, I'm not.

[01:03:45]

A lie. That one of you?

[01:03:46]

That one of you. We had this discussion about a woman in her dress. Is there something that she could put on? You can say, no, you ain't leaving the house in this base. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. When she's trying too hard. You can't try too hard. Just let it be. Just let it be natural. Don't try too hard. Like if you walk out in your outfit saying, I want some attention, we got a problem. You don't have to. You're too beautiful for that. You better than that. How to split could come up? I don't want to see Jesus.

[01:04:24]

There we go.

[01:04:26]

I want to see Jesus on the phone. I want... I see Jesus on the phone.

[01:04:31]

Listen, I told Uncle last night it's all about understanding and knowing who and what you're dealing with. Now, if it's somebody that you're just having fun with, listen, mama, you can wear whatever you want. But if you're dealing with a woman you're trying to build an empire with, you can't build an empire with nobody.

[01:04:47]

Wow.

[01:04:48]

That's looking for attention from the village.

[01:04:50]

We have to- You put your fingers up there. Your hands look bad too, by the way. But anyway, that's a whole.

[01:04:54]

Other thing. That's why I was.

[01:04:55]

But your hands didn't look good. You just said your hands are... I look bad. I look the heaviest are. Yeah, but when he said he just talked about the petty man and your hands on the other side. Yeah, they don't look like they were straight. Yeah, bad. You need to get your hands picked. What are you talking about? That's how your hands should look on the inside.

[01:05:09]

It's Christmas time. What do you mean? What do you mean?

[01:05:14]

What do you mean? What do you mean? You don't look like.

[01:05:16]

You're from Mannequins. It's Christmas time.

[01:05:18]

What do you mean? I'm working. What you making? What you making? Cake, bread?

[01:05:23]

I'm in the trenches. How do you think these kids going to get these gifts?

[01:05:26]

In trenches doing what? I don't do gifts no more. Itell you, you're going to come out cheaper, get money. Yeah. See? That would have been- You come out cheaper, you're going to save time, get money, though. Don't do that.

[01:05:38]

I did that already. They sent me a list and I'm getting the stuff they put on the list, I'm getting the form.

[01:05:47]

Got it. 6,000 people have voted. They said 53% say, Farting in front of your man is okay. I need to see the age demographic. No, don't try to.

[01:06:00]

Change it. Don't try to change it. This is something natural. Listen, stay with me real quick.

[01:06:05]

Wait.

[01:06:06]

We're on the.

[01:06:06]

Same page. Let me finish. Go ahead. Let me finish. I'm going to let you finish. Go ahead.

[01:06:11]

Prime, passing gas, fraudulating is normal. Telling your spouse they have to go to a completely.

[01:06:19]

Different room.

[01:06:19]

Don't be fraudulating. Okay, my bad. They're going to a completely different room just to do what is natural. You got to have your stomach hurt because they holding it. That's not right. That is imprisonment.

[01:06:32]

Okay, chewing your food is natural. But time says someone smacking.

[01:06:38]

Is not- I understand that. That's like nails on a dashboard.

[01:06:41]

Chewing food is natural.

[01:06:43]

Yes, but you can do it with your mouth closed.

[01:06:45]

Okay, you can go to the bathroom and fart in not in front of me.

[01:06:48]

Okay, all right. But to eat his own. To eat his own.

[01:06:51]

Thank you. What we're saying, you're not going to make it far in a relationship with us. You cool with a farter. We cool. You cool. That's it. Well, listen.

[01:07:00]

The funny thing about it, they're going to do it anyway. They're going to do it anyway. They're going to do it anyway.

[01:07:04]

They're going.

[01:07:05]

To hide it. I'm sorry.

[01:07:06]

You just said mama farter. You just said mama farter. I'm sure she.

[01:07:12]

Did because I can smell it. I can smell it. I can smell it. I remember, mama rest in peace. I can smell it, but she was stained. It came from somewhere, and it was me. I'm sure she did it.

[01:07:23]

I haven't experienced that. Not that I would think you- I've never experienced that. Because that's not going to go well. It happened one time. I'm going to tell the story another day in time how that happened.

[01:07:37]

But- The.

[01:07:37]

Girl started on you? I mean, knowing you was aduring, but knowing you was during something. Yeah.

[01:07:48]

How did I.

[01:07:53]

Do that?

[01:07:54]

I don't know.

[01:07:55]

I don't know. You know it. Since you that got it, this what happened. We were having sex and this is an absolute true story. I put this on everything.

[01:08:05]

It's a family show.

[01:08:06]

I was having sex with this young lady.

[01:08:08]

Yes.

[01:08:09]

Sir. Hold on, hold on. Paint the whole picture.

[01:08:11]

Now don't cheat me.

[01:08:12]

Yeah, don't cheat me either.

[01:08:13]

We're having sex. Details.

[01:08:16]

We're having sex. Physician. Physician? Yeah. I'm the back shop king. Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord Jesus. She ain't do it when she long know she did. Let's go, boy. That is what she did. I said I'm not. What I'm about to say is 1,000% truth. Talk to me, baby. She passed gas. She said, Excuse me. Do it. Do it. Yes, she passed gas. Do it. We have a saying. Then she looked back and said, Excuse me. I'm not. Yeah. She didn't look back.

[01:08:49]

Tyra.

[01:08:50]

She said, Excuse me. I said, That's all right, baby. I generally make them shit. You're right. I'm going to take my head home too. How she doing? She said, Excuse me. I said, That's all right, baby. I generally make them shit. It kept going. I'm with it. I'm hell with the time. I'm hell with the time. Hey, come on baby. Hold me you all nasty, man. Hold me you all I swear. I swear. I can't be doing that. Fist bump. Fist bump. Oh, don't do that. Fist bump. Fist bump. You all ain't no good. That ain't channel. Don't do that. What you want me to do? You want what you want me to say?

[01:09:30]

I like that.

[01:09:31]

First of all, for her to look back and say, Excuse me. She should have rolled with it.

[01:09:36]

Hey, I got to write that down. I got to write that down.

[01:09:40]

Don't write that down.

[01:09:41]

That's nasty. Tia, we.

[01:09:43]

Had a question. I think the four pillars are religion, money, parenting, and in-laws. Someone tweeted earlier says, I'm not marrying into a family that doesn't like me. If I go to a man's family function and his mom, his auntie, his sisters, cousins are being weird to me, I'll leave him alone because I don't care how long we've been together. You better leave him alone because that man ain't got no money. Because any man that got some money, mama going to show up. Mama going to show up. That's going to be hard. You know what I mean? I have not met one that mama ain't crack that thing up. Because on the mama... Mama doesn't think anybody is good enough for her kid. Good enough. Then they think mama thinking you skipped the line because mama been there waiting for 20 some years to get hers. Then here you come and you get hers. Mama don't like that. That's tough.

[01:10:38]

You know what? When I mentor, even my kids are playing for me as well as pros, I always tell them, Hey, man, after that game, make sure you teach your woman to fall back and let you go to mama first.

[01:10:53]

Because.

[01:10:54]

If you go to her first, all the rest of that evening is going to be bad. Oh, he ain't going to Oh, no, it's going to be on. Make sure he goes to hug mama first. Even if he tried to hug you, you better whisper, you better go hug your mama, boy. Because it's on. You all know that. It was always mom getting first. Actually, it's going mom, sister. But everybody you understand position. Yeah, but they don't. Sometimes they don't. You're right. It ain't no sometimes. All the times they don't. But what happens when you become married? Because you played, you were married, and you know mom- When the baby says leaving, please. I ain't get to that part. That's what the baby said, but I ain't get that for yet. Because you do that if you want to. It's on. It's not going to be a good evening at the crib. I'm trying to tell you. You all know that. You all know it.

[01:11:53]

Yeah. Listen, you already know how my mama is, so you already know how that go.

[01:11:59]

My mom will crack that thing up. This guy, I can talk about what. Well, tonight, guys, Reveille say, Shane, you should use a lady bath and a water hose. I know what that is. And dry wipe in the bathroom. Let me tell you what I did. I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I don't like putting the seat up and putting it down. I go to the bathroom, leave the seat up. She said, Shannon, every time I go to the bathroom, the seat is up. I said, You know what? To keep you happy, you know what I did? You know what I did, guys? Prab and... You know what I did? I wouldn't put a urinal in the bathroom. You got to. I don't have a urinal. They don't have a urinal. Like you go to a concert or sporting event. I don't own a home without a urinal.

[01:12:48]

Okay.

[01:12:49]

That's what I did. Just to keep confusion down. First of all, I'm not going to be aiming in the middle of the night, and I'm not finna get ready to do the split just to hit the water. I'm not doing Yeah, because I ain't open my eyes yet in the bathroom. I ain't fit to do the split, hit the water. I got to go.

[01:13:05]

That's a different money. I ain't never seen a urinal inside a home. I've never heard of that.

[01:13:11]

You must have come in my room when you visited me.

[01:13:15]

No, you all got money, man. How much a funeral cost?

[01:13:20]

Not much. Not much. I'm just saying get down into having a conversation. Just like a heated toilet seat. I like a heated toilet seat.

[01:13:28]

They got heated toilet seats? Yeah. That's some new shit, huh?

[01:13:34]

Uh-uh, it's old. If they would have been far to walk around your house, you probably would know this stuff. I'm just saying.

[01:13:42]

I live in Miami. It's 90 degrees year round.

[01:13:46]

No. Yeah, but still, they're asking a bunch of questions when you're sitting there for a minute after all them farts that you all have released.

[01:13:52]

No, it's not. You all being a little excessive with it. It is not like that. Just when you got to go, you got to go.

[01:13:58]

I love the words of the lecture.

[01:14:00]

I appreciate it. I appreciate it. I've been reading the dictionary because I'm on TV now.

[01:14:04]

I see. Out of the 95 Cowboys, 98 Broncos, I don't know why the hell they threw the '05 Bangles' in this conversation. Are we lying?

[01:14:12]

We run it through all you all.

[01:14:14]

We.

[01:14:14]

Run this to you all. We run it to you all.

[01:14:18]

Listen.

[01:14:19]

The '05 Bangles?

[01:14:22]

Just stop, man.

[01:14:23]

Where you was at? Where you was at? Where you was at?

[01:14:26]

Where you were at?

[01:14:27]

I know, I'm.

[01:14:29]

Saying- '95, he was the cowboys.

[01:14:30]

'95, were you with the cowboys? Yeah. I would have turned that 21 to 12, man.

[01:14:35]

Don't play at me. First of all, they said don't make me come through them.

[01:14:39]

I was in my prime. Prime. I would have turned that 21 to 12, man.

[01:14:44]

Don't make me turn to Zoom real quick. We'll let the Bingo put their top 22 players all time and we'll still beat them. So you try to get to the question. He got the virtue, man. He know he never had no good team. He ain't never played for a good team. Never played no good team.

[01:15:01]

Don't play my 05, my 05 bangles boy with the real deal now.

[01:15:07]

Since all you guys have track backgrounds, who are some of the favorite Olympic track stars, past and present, male or female? That's a good one.

[01:15:16]

That's a real good one.

[01:15:18]

I met Flojo one time, man.

[01:15:21]

Did you? Damn, for real?

[01:15:23]

Yeah, man. I met Flojo one time, and I fanned out. I was him at the time when I met him. I fanned out. She was off the chain. Yeah, she was off the chain. First of all, let's get this straight. In our area, Shannon, you know Carl Lewis was him then? Yeah, I met Carl. Yes, absolutely. I thought Michael Johnson too. Michael Johnson was him. Yeah, Michael was after our moment. But Michael was a bad boy. But Carl Lewis, man, please, man. Because you remember that we got upset when Ben Johnson got out that hole that time? Yeah, he dropped out the whole car and they didn't fold. Something wrong. Something going on now. Then they drug tested to be right after the race. Right after the race. Come on, come on. Yeah, he was peeing five.

[01:16:13]

That's a great question. I would have to go with Shaqari.

[01:16:17]

You met Shaqari? Right.

[01:16:19]

Oh, yeah. Yeah, my daughter run track. They ran an Anson complex here. Everybody was in the town. My daughter had run track. We went up there and Itried to meet her. I was able to meet her for the first time.

[01:16:31]

Your daughter got it too, though.

[01:16:33]

Yeah. You know she at University of Kentucky.

[01:16:36]

I didn't know that.

[01:16:37]

Yeah, she at UK. She at UK. They got a track program.

[01:16:40]

If she wants to transfer to Boulder, I think I could hook up too. I'm just saying.

[01:16:46]

I asked you for a job. You told me no, but my daughter can't come.

[01:16:50]

No, I don't want you. I want the daughter because you ain't going to do right. Especially you all are growing far now. I know that. I know that. I know. I've taken. Cheryl just donated $200. Now, I'll get private. Thank you, baby. I love you all, but you all better leave my baby alone.

[01:17:06]

Thank you. Yeah, you better get them, baby.

[01:17:09]

Yeah, you see that right? Why the women always like the crazy one? Yeah. That's what I want to know. You know, they always like the crazy. They do. Honestly, honestly. Honestly, honestly. I'm not going to lie to you, Chad. If this was new edition, you would be Bobby. What? You would be Bobby. You're not true. Bobby, please. Bobby was it.

[01:17:32]

Yeah, I was it. But I'm just saying the other side of Bobby is the complete- But if this.

[01:17:35]

Is new edition, you would be Bobby.

[01:17:36]

No, man, I don't do nothing like Bobby, though. I don't-.

[01:17:40]

Yeah, you do. You do everything like Bobby. You do.

[01:17:43]

What?

[01:17:45]

You just don't get in trouble at the law, but you do all things like Bobby. Everything. You do everything. You got Bobby like tendencies. You got Bobby like tendencies. I smoke cigarettes. You would lead the group and go start your own thing. You would do that.

[01:17:59]

Okay, I like that. I like where you're going. I like where you're going now. Don't be cruel.

[01:18:04]

Yeah, you do. Don't be cruel. Like you all them songs are your songs.

[01:18:08]

Okay, that's me.

[01:18:10]

Jay-what was that? Go ahead. Shannon would be, Johnny Keel. No, you definitely don't be Johnny. You too big of Johnny Keel. I don't know about that right now. You want to see Bobby right now. Bobby do what? No, Bobby over there. There over Mike. Shannon would be Mike. Shannon would be Mike Evans. Mike Evans? Yeah, Mike was the guy behind everything. Mike made everything happen.

[01:18:38]

So he like quiet boy from The Five Heartbeats then?

[01:18:42]

No.

[01:18:43]

He.

[01:18:44]

Like Duck from.

[01:18:45]

The Five Heartbeats. Okay.

[01:18:47]

That's my favorite movie. You know that, right? That's my favorite.

[01:18:49]

Movie of all time. Five Heartbeats is.

[01:18:51]

The real deal. It's my favorite movie I watch a hundred times. What we got favorite movie? We already know Chad, Eddie Cain. Yeah, you're Eddie Cain though. Come on, man. No, you've been Eddie Cain though. I feel like this. Chadd come back in his old, all of a sudden, in a big uniform.

[01:19:12]

Hey, baby. Man, Gideon boy, they jumping on me, baby.

[01:19:17]

Jazz Wright asked a great question. He said, Why do players find it so hard to take your criticism and genuine feedback to see them get better? I guess it's either to attack the messenger instead of digest the message.

[01:19:29]

It's.

[01:19:30]

Because the players, sometimes they wrong with the criticism. Sometimes the criticism is not warranted. Sometimes you're criticizing based off your insecurities. Don't do that. Yeah. Don't do that. Yeah, criticize, but not based off what you're saying you would have done, because you don't have the ability to do what that would have been done. That's my problem with the criticism. I look at it like this. Before this social media blew up-time, what we would ask of people that was critiquing us, Okay, did you play? All these players now, they wanted someone that actually played the game, that had an intimate knowledge of the game to know what it's like to be in the locker room, to know what it's like to be in the huddle, to know what it's like in the field and feel that. Then when they got there, they said, Well, you didn't win anything. Now when I critique a player, not only did I win at the highest level, I won multiple times. Not only did I win multiple times, I got the validation by being selected and can't. Now what are you jealous? You mad because you didn't make as much money.

[01:20:37]

I made a damn lot of money for Tideans when I played. Time's changed, inflation. Okay, guys are making money. I get nothing. You ask me to give you my honest assessment. When I give it to you, you don't like it because I critique your favorite player. I don't understand how I win.

[01:20:55]

I think it's a different era. We're in a different era. And I think it's more so delivery. I think delivery is very, very important in the way we are critical and we analyze players. It will be seen, regardless of how you try to do it, it will be seen as hate, because there's really no way to criticize the player without him feeling a certain way about it. And again, I talk with you all, we talk about this all the time, and they get on me a lot about not being able to be critical of players when they don't play the way they should. And I always go back from a point of view of knowing what it's like to be them. Now, opposed to being on the other side with the media now, it's very difficult for me to say he did A, B and C, but I'd rather talk about D, E and F on what he can do to make sure it doesn't happen again. I don't even want to focus on the negative. I don't want to be the problem. I want to tell you what the solution is so you don't play like that again.

[01:21:51]

I like doing that right.

[01:21:52]

But, Otra, but that's not what happened. You got to critique on what you saw, not what you think you're going to get down the road. First of all, he ain't going to do that. He's not the one like that. Chad ain't going to do that. He ain't going to critique nobody. He ain't built like that. Chad not want to be because he is. Chad is a good dude, and he want to be loved. He just want to be held.

[01:22:16]

I want to be what?

[01:22:17]

Held. He's going to be held. I mean, he's going.

[01:22:22]

To be loved. I like criticism. You know, it's funny. Think about- When you played. I played, I love, I like to hate. I want you to hate. I want you to talk trash. I want you to say bad things about me. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the media saying bad stuff. It lights somewhat of a fire. And that's why to me, I don't understand why players care what the media says. That should motivate you.

[01:22:48]

I used that- They don't feel like that, though. They can't expect people to be who you are. That's what I had to learn as a coach years ago. You can't expect people to be you. You can't expect people to feel like you, to think like you, to interpret things like you, to even fathom things like you. They ain't built like that. Check out how we made one of you, man.

[01:23:06]

They didn't build like that. We're at the highest level. It's the NFL, though.

[01:23:09]

Thank you. You make an excuse for them. You see what you.

[01:23:12]

Just did? No, wait. You didn't let me finish. Let me get where I'm going. To even get to the pinnacle of your childhood dream, you've had to be through some shit. You've had to go through some stuff. Anything being said in and about you shouldn't even bother you.

[01:23:28]

At this point once you made it. We just have to talk about new addition. I said you're Bobby Brown, and I said he probably was Michael Bivis. You know there's a rave trasband too, man. I need a man with sensitivity. A lot of these kids are sensitive.

[01:23:42]

They.

[01:23:42]

Can't handle that.

[01:23:44]

That's a good analogy right there. A man with sensitivity. That's what they are. You quit with it.

[01:23:49]

That's where I'm from. But the way the human brain is wired, because you know this, somebody can say a thousand good things about a person, but it's the one negative thing that they're going to hear. It's just like if, Ocho, if you go outside and you sign a thousand photographs, if you don't sign a thousand and one, you're a jerk. Tell me, why are we driven to the one comment out of ten that's positive? Now the one is negative, but the other nine are positive. Why are you attracted? See, I'm not attracted to that. I can kill less, really, genuinely, I can kill less. Why are we, as a people, mostly attracted to that one negative comment? Why are we drawn to that?

[01:24:38]

Why does the negative media, negative headlines, negative stories, why does it sell more than positive? Why does it create more attention? Why does it create more eyes than those of positive stories?

[01:24:50]

Well, people like to see wrong instead of right. If I go outside and say a blessing, a blessing, a blessing, ain't nobody running out there. But if I go out there and say a fight, a fight, a fight, it's going to be a rumor. They're going to clear the room. They're running out there.

[01:25:03]

Yeah.

[01:25:04]

That's just how we built. That's just the way that's how we built. Dj can do more as why don't black men consider Serena one of the top five black athletes of all time. She is. Who said she wasn't? Who said she was? Who say black man? Where your poll come from?

[01:25:25]

I don't know where that statistic came from. She is.

[01:25:27]

I don't know who put that in. Whoever that is, God bless you. I don't know where you get that from. Let me tell you something about Serena, too. This is a good one. This is a good one. I was working with the NFL Network, and all of us was on the elevator. I'm not going to mention all the names of the people that I work with that was on the elevator. We were on the elevator and Serena, the elevator opens up and Serena walks on the elevator. She walks on there and, of course, she acknowledged anyone because she's a kind person. Then she turned around and they pushed the button and we went where we went. But one gentleman on the elevator looked down and say, Oh, my God. Do you like that? I'm sure all that day were right. I'm talking about one of the people on the elevator looked down and said, Oh, my. You read that lip saying, Oh, my God. I'm not going to say who she was with, but you remember she came to the pro-bo? I wasn't there then.

[01:26:28]

Oh, I know who was.

[01:26:29]

She came to the probo, and this had to be so she probably was like 21, 22.

[01:26:38]

Wait, USC, New York, New York's Jet?

[01:26:42]

No? Oh, I'm wrong. I remember that. I remember hearing about that. Yeah.

[01:26:49]

I'm wrong?

[01:26:51]

No. Look, she's married and he's married, but she was a very curvy, nicely built young lady. Don't you just say she was sitting on something and quit playing, though. Just say that, man. She was stacked like dirty laundry. She was very curvy. She was stacked like dirty laundry in the dorm room. Thank you. Because I know you had a saying. I know you're just you're right. Lord have mercy. Yeah, that's what they said on the back of the elevator. It was one of my Caucasian coworkers said, Oh, my God. This face says, Hi, Coach, Prime, in Ocho's defense. He gave me that heat for choosing dogs over people. He gives criticism not so much for rye receivers, but will support him on nightcap through and through. Great show tonight. What they said? She said he gets upset for choosing dogs over people. That he get mad at me. He'll criticize me for choosing dogs over people. But he won't- That's right. That ain't right, though. You can't choose no dog. You can't choose no animal, no man.

[01:27:55]

Thank you. I don't choose no dog.

[01:27:56]

Thank you. No, Chana, I know how you all with an animal, old man.

[01:27:59]

He said the woman can't be in.

[01:28:02]

The bed. You let the dogs get on the bed. I'll let the motherfucker borrow my car. No, the dog can't get on the bed now. Hey, he get the car. He gets the front seat. You got to stop that dog. You got to stop. You've got to stop that.

[01:28:17]

I told you.

[01:28:18]

Yeah, that's not right. I'm trying to talk about how you treat me. I don't really want to go there how you treat me. I really want to tell these folks how you really treat me that. I'm tired of texting you, talking about how they're treating you all. I'm tired of that. You're selfish and you're straight out selfish. This man text me, this man text me, this is all joke. The man text me, you ain't right. That's it. Noi don't know what I'm talking about. That's the problem. You don't know what I'm talking about. If I text Chad on site, he know damn well what I'm talking about. But we all got to eat little coves. You know damn well what I'm talking about. I know exactly what you're talking about. Damon Lee asked Coach, Brian, would you let a woman choose the restaurant on the first date? How want to happen? Okay, how much? Now you know I got a stop sign in my pocket. I know you do. Hey, you know me. Hey, my money got these on. That's how long they ain't been out. My money got Shayes on. There we go. There we go.

[01:29:27]

It ain't been a long time. Everybody's fly down there because it ain't out of pocket of a while. Yeah, my money got to feel your wrist. Oh, you got that ray on them. I might have got that Ray. I'm going to get that ray. I'm going to get feel your wrist. But I want the woman to choose whichever place she goes because... Man, I'm old school, man. I take you to Waffer House in a heartbeat, man. I take you to Waffer House. I take you to Golden Corral.

[01:29:55]

Hey.

[01:29:56]

Man. But you go to the place, you ain't spending about $50. You can give them like, salt grass. It ain't about how much I'm spending as long as we happy. That ain't how they look at it. First of all, I'm the entertainment. I'm going to make sure we happy because I'm going to guide the conversation. We're going to have a good time, man. First of all, all three of us, we obtained the gift of conversation. Yes. Yeah, I thought too much. We obtained the gift of entertainment as well. Yes. We're great conversationalists. It's not going to be a boring date unless you say something to trigger us. Yeah, this ain't it. You hit that trigger. I already eat fast, but I'm going to eat fast than I normally do. That thing will be we're going to be in and out of there in 30 minutes. We're going to get appetite. We ain't going to spend it. If it ain't right, we ain't. I'm going to call one of the boys. Hey, man, come kick with me down here. They asked, Mickey House, they asked, How many Super Bowl rings would John Delway have if Shannon was replaced by Ocho?

[01:31:01]

That's a good question. First of all, you can't replace Shannon. You can't replace Shannon. But how many are you going to have, Ochie?

[01:31:10]

About three.

[01:31:16]

John going to have one more than what he got if you take me out and put you in.

[01:31:22]

Yeah.

[01:31:22]

How do you figure that?

[01:31:24]

I don't know. It just sound good, though. It sound real good. Since we talking hypotheticals, I'm going to make sure it sounds good to me.

[01:31:32]

You don't like the block. He won't do it. No, don't say I.

[01:31:38]

Don't like the block. I might have lost every time I block, but my man ain't make the tackle. That's allgather.

[01:31:45]

In the West Coast. He'll run you off too. Now, he'll run you off too. Oh, yeah.

[01:31:49]

I'm taking two or three people with me every time.

[01:31:53]

In his defense, when he was on, it went nobody in the game better than his stretch.

[01:32:02]

In.

[01:32:03]

His stretch, went nobody to the game better.

[01:32:06]

I'm.

[01:32:07]

Going to tell you something. How we first got down was one of my friends, Lenny Harris, who was telling me, Hey, man, this is the young cat down here, man. He said he got it. He's talking drunk. He said he do this, do that. You know what? I invited him to the crib.

[01:32:22]

Oh, yeah.

[01:32:23]

He came out to the crib, Shannon, and we worked. I invited several guys to the crib to just work on the game, work on a life, just work, period. He was one of them, man. He was one of them. I saw right then, I said, boy, that boy got some... Because his feeling was unbelievable. You know, it's so funny. This is how smart he was. I had Mike come over to work with some of the receivers too. Afterwards, he wanted to meet with me because he's like, Hey, man, I know what Mike teaching me and all that, but that ain't me. I don't like him to touch me, dog. I say, He's right. You're right. Because that'sThat always stayed with me because as a coach, I can't just teach what I do. I got to teach what's best for you.

[01:33:06]

Mike.

[01:33:07]

Was a big physical receiver. He wanted to play through all that. Mike was teaching them his release. That joker, I ain't want you to get a hand on him. He ain't want you to touch him. And he had that. He had that. It's so funny. I'm not going to take the credit because he was a bad boy. But the information, everything he gained, I think it just gave him because there were some corners there that was good too. He went that next year, Dog, and went off. Went off. He went off in the NFL. Off.

Uncultured, Jay. Yo, guys, we've heard about your pregame rituals, but what about your postgame rituals? Did you have anything that you did time? Did you have anything you did, Ojo, after the game? I always had migraines. I always had migraines. Controlling the migraine from being up, being fired up and just want to go get it. That calming down period was tough, so I always had migraines. On the plane ride back home, they would medicate me and try to get me stuff and ice everywhere. I couldn't never do none of the games, so I always went to the crib, straight home.

[01:36:15]

My routine after every game in Cincinnati was always the same. Win or lose, I'm going to Jay-Alexander's in Hyde Park. I have a celebratory cigar. Win or lose, obviously for getting out of the game healthy, and that was it. I did the same thing after every game for a decade straight. And if the people, if corporate from J. Alexander sees this, if you all don't bring back them goddamn honey butter biscuits, I know some honey butter croissants. Oh, man.

[01:36:48]

What did you do, Jay? I normally just went home. I'd go get something. Occasionally, we go to guys. Hold on. What is there something? What is there something you want to get? You said you were going to get something. No, I'm just asking. They want no one to do something. You mean something to eat? Yeah, it wasn't not going on. My body was, man, I was lean when I played. I didn't insinuate that what you said something. I didn't insinuate that when you said something. I wasn't going to be able to do none of that. I'd have been locked up on it. In the... I'd have to get an IV. I was like this here. No, we occasionally I would go out to guys, we'd go get something to eat. But most of the time I would call ahead, get an order. There's this restaurant called Black IP. I would call ahead, get chicken, rice, broccoli, corn, two-week rolls and a limonade. He always was disciplined on his eating, man.

[01:37:38]

I have a quick prime. Did you eat healthy when you played? No.

[01:37:41]

Thank.

[01:37:41]

You.

[01:37:42]

Man. Thank you. I was so ignorant when we were in Atlanta, I had soul-food catered for lunch for everybody, for the whole team.

[01:37:48]

I had.

[01:37:49]

Collard greens and rice and black IPs, baked chicken. We were eating there for lunch, didn't go out there to practice. I was like, Man, we have a lot of stuff to eat, man. Thank you, no problem. Because all I'm going to do is I eat that, I'm going to sleep.

[01:38:01]

I appreciate that. I'm glad you said that. Because I've been trying to telling people for 30 some years. They don't listen to me.

[01:38:08]

No, I wish I had it, though. I wish I had it. I wish I had. See, you hear that? I always stayed in shape, but I didn't eat right.

[01:38:17]

I didn't eat right either, and I always stayed in shape.

[01:38:20]

Yeah, but you're a freak genetically, dog. You could eat whatever you want. You still.

[01:38:25]

Going to stay lean. But I work like a mad man. I'm still working like a mad man. I've been lean, I don't even play.

[01:38:31]

You're going to always be lean. That's your gene. You don't have the disposition to put on weight. You're not going to be 250. You're not going to be 300, O'Joe. That's not your body frame. Look how narrow you see how you're showing on that jersey. He don't like to call him narrow now. He get offended. Don't do that.

[01:38:48]

I'm not narrow. I'm 2:20. What do you talk about narrow?

[01:38:50]

No, you've never been 200 in your life. Hey, no. I'm 2:20 right now? What are you all talking about? Look. You've never beenI don't think you've ever hit 200 in your life.

[01:39:04]

No.

[01:39:05]

Never. You know how they used to have the NFL experience? They had that jersey and the little kids go stick their head in that thing and you see the little body hanging. That's what he looked like in that jersey right there. But he always been ripped, though. He always been ripped.

[01:39:18]

He just naturally... I'm ripped now.

[01:39:21]

You've always been that way.

[01:39:23]

Yeah, don't play.

[01:39:25]

Jacob come in, we all know, don't brush your teeth immediately after the game. Oh, I had to get that in. But I have to get that in. I saw that the other day, though. I don't do it as much as you do, but I probably brush about five times a day. I have to brush after I eat every time. Thank you.

[01:39:43]

You said ten times a day. That's excessive.

[01:39:47]

That's a lot too much. I'm going to tell you what happened. This, Shannon ain't tell you all. I'm going to tell you all because I love you all. Somebody told Shannon when he was younger that his breath is thing. What they did no time. I know we could play like they did, but somebody told him that his breath stank, and he was defensive and he wanted to defuse that. He just went over-breshing because somebody told somebody. Honestly, I've never had well, not anyone that told me because that's a very tough conversation to have. No, it ain't. Not when you're from Florida, we had that conversation.

[01:40:22]

Oh, yeah.

[01:40:22]

I've always been the one to point out those things that nobody want to talk about. Yeah, but you got to make a joke of it, no time. You just can't your mouth. You got to make a joke of it.

[01:40:32]

You ain't got to make no joke. You say, Hey, you want a piece of gum?

[01:40:37]

No. I'd be like, Well, you got to kick stand up under your toe. Why are your toe hard? You're doing it. You got to make a joke. I've always pointed out those things that people wouldn't point out. Somebody said something. But you know when you spend the money that we don't spend on these things, man, I got to keep them right. You're not lying. It's the cost. I got mine when I first started doing TV. Give me the old grill. How much the old grill cost? Give me the old grill. All 32. Every last one of them came back. How do you feel about the media painting a false narrative about all your players who's going to leave Colorado while watching all these top school players hit the transfer portal? Okay, first of all, our first time when I got there, I only had that conversation with probably 20 players. The rest of them quit. The rest of them shut it down. That was the guy on his truth. I didn't say none about it, but that's what truly happened. Some of them thought they were just getting over on us right before the spring game, all the defense alignment.

[01:41:56]

But I think two of them, the interior alignment, got together and we're going to quit. You all ain't hurt me. That makes it easier for us to go into court and get them. I wish I could have talked to them before then because I'd have told them. At least you want to stay and play in the spring game because we're on national television and that's going to help you in the portal. But they didn't think about that. Also, they never did a follow-up, but I did. I'm not going to tell you the numbers, but all the players that got in the portal left, where are they now? Somebody should do that follow-up.

[01:42:29]

Come on, man.

[01:42:32]

You understand, did they even get to another T? We try to help all of them, the ones that we really talk to, to try to get them a place to go to the play. James said, How do you brush your teeth 10 times a day, but you let the dog sleep on the bed? Easy. Brush my teeth, dog sleep on the bed. That's a good one, though. You're taking too far with the dog, though. That dog ain't hurt nobody, Prime? Yeah. You're too big for a little dog. I got a big dog too. Yeah, but how they get along? They get along great. I'm the pack leader. I'm the pack leader. Whatever I say goes. That's how the hierarchy is. Everybody falls in line behind me. Okay, because I know you always talk about relational stuff. Yes. If you're so close to that dog, it's no way you're going to be close to somebody else like that because you love them dogs more than you love whoever it is. I do love those dogs. I know you do. I know you do. But I love... My thing, Brian, look, when I love, I love. I know you.

[01:43:37]

I love hard. For me to have someone that I can love like them dogs. Man, look here. You can't do that, Chad. You can't say that, though. You can't say have somebody you love like them dogs. That don't sound right.

[01:43:55]

I've been trying to find him a woman for the past.

[01:43:58]

Three months. I know you do. But I can't be married. You know what I can have. That's a good question.

[01:44:04]

Wait, stay with me, baby. Stay with me real quick. Wait a minute. Both of you all ain't got nobody. I got somebody for both of you all. I've been working on him for three months. He's difficult.

[01:44:14]

I got somebody for you. I'm not right. I'm not going to tell you I'm not right.

[01:44:18]

Wait, what do you mean.

[01:44:19]

You're not right? Because I'm married to the gang. I'm married to what I do.

[01:44:25]

I'm married to these kids. I'm married to the gang.

[01:44:29]

I hear all that. I hear all that you're talking. I got somebody for you that understands the vision, that understands what you're going through with everything that you're doing right now, and she will be perfect for your journey.

[01:44:37]

That sound real good. Yeah.

[01:44:41]

Don't worry about it. Listen, I'm going to tell her to text you after this. I got you, though. Hey, listen. Wait, stay with me real quick.

[01:44:47]

Let's work on Shannon. Why you all got to-.

[01:44:50]

He don't listen.

[01:44:52]

No, I know what he like. But I don't know if it's sustainable.

[01:45:00]

Because the dog's in the way. That's the problem.

[01:45:03]

I don't get a lot of other stuff in the way.

[01:45:04]

The dog's in the way.

[01:45:05]

But.

[01:45:06]

Prime- You.

[01:45:07]

Do love them dogs while you love human. Yeah, you do. No, I do. I do. You do. Because human is full of caca.

[01:45:14]

Yeah. Hey, Prime, you trust me, right?

[01:45:16]

You scarred.

[01:45:18]

Prime, you trust me, yeah?

[01:45:19]

No. In some aspects.

[01:45:21]

Okay, because Jesus got this wheel. I got you. Jesus got this wheel. I got somebody for you. But you're going to be happy too. You can be like, boy, you.

[01:45:28]

Know what? If I ain't never to- I'm not listening.

[01:45:32]

To you. I'm not.

[01:45:33]

Listening to you. I'm not listening to you. I'm not listening to you. I'm not listening to you. I'm not listening to you. I'm not listening to you. I'm going to get first take. I got nightcap. I'm married to the.

[01:45:41]

Game, Chad. Thank you.

[01:45:43]

Why your head is so hard?

[01:45:45]

Listen, this is what I'm telling you all. You all don't listen.

[01:45:48]

I love what I do, what I do, what I love. Okay, talk to me about the attribute, because I'm listening. I'm in the portal. I'm listening to.

[01:45:54]

You all. You all old heads, man. You all stubborn. You all too old to be stubborn. That's why you need to listen to the younger folks. Goahead. Listen to the younger folks. Listen, your antennas is always raised. You overthink. You analyze too much. You act like old women that's sitting on the front porch. If I'm telling you I got something good for you that can help you with what you're doing, why not.

[01:46:14]

Listen- Give me a couple of attributes.

[01:46:17]

I can't think. We got too many people. We got too many.

[01:46:20]

Six one. Six one. That's too tall for him.

[01:46:24]

Damn.

[01:46:26]

I don't know, Mena. I may know I've been doing this man 30 years. Hold on, Prime. We've been close after about close, 15 years. Hold on, Prime.

[01:46:37]

She's six one. But with the heels off, she's 5'10.

[01:46:42]

5'12. Keep talking. Are you good? We'rei'm not talking. No, keep talking. Just keep talking. Keep talking. Listen, I'm not built for this right now, but go ahead and talk.

[01:46:51]

Oh, no, you're built for this.

[01:46:52]

Butter pecan. Huh? Butter pecan.

[01:46:56]

Long, Brazilian street here. Long, long. It's just.

[01:46:59]

Long here. It's just long here. Okay.

[01:47:01]

That's it. Long here.

[01:47:03]

Carmo, butter pecan.

[01:47:05]

Yeah, carmo complexion. Like butter pecan, like butterscotch. Remember when you was in church with.

[01:47:10]

Your.

[01:47:10]

Grandma?

[01:47:11]

Remember how loud is this? You're like, Butterscotch. Butterscotch. Cut it back. Talk to me now.

[01:47:21]

Wait.

[01:47:25]

A minute.

[01:47:26]

Wait, you said you want to send him. I thought you wanted a sinner. I thought you wanted a sinner. No, what? I don't say he wants to send him. If she ain't to sin or she ain't to win him.

[01:47:35]

Five-foot to five, three, five, four at the most.

[01:47:40]

Two, 10.

[01:47:41]

No, that's too big for him. But anyway, you got to start up at 155. Right. Own up.

[01:47:50]

Okay.

[01:47:51]

But it's got to be workout.

[01:47:53]

They got.

[01:47:54]

To have a fitness life.

[01:47:56]

Curvy? Right.

[01:47:58]

A fitness life.

[01:48:00]

And.

[01:48:00]

Hard. I got you.

[01:48:02]

I got him.

[01:48:02]

Discipline.

[01:48:03]

Focused. And she got to accept them dogs.

[01:48:06]

She got to accept them dogs. So that's pretty much going to make her right. But here's the thing. Now, check this out. Hold on. Check this out. Okay, Prime, Ocho. You all say accept the dogs, but what about if she got kids? You all want me to accept them kids, right?

[01:48:25]

That's a good one. But you know it's funny?

[01:48:27]

You.

[01:48:29]

Got kids, don't you? My kid.

[01:48:31]

Is grown. My kid is out of the house. You kid is grown, though. His kid is out of the house.

[01:48:34]

You still have kids. It doesn't matter. They are a part of you.

[01:48:37]

They come with you. They got kids that live with you. They come with you. He talk about in-house, though. He ain't doing that. You forget that he ain't doing that.

[01:48:46]

Man, I'm shit, but you're all better than me. Because women with kids- No.

[01:48:49]

I'm telling you he ain't doing that.

[01:48:50]

I'm just telling you what you're doing with. Women with kids got snacks. Women with no kids always want to go out to eat. I don't like that.

[01:48:56]

I'm trying to tell you who he is. You're trying to help him?

[01:48:59]

Right. Okay. The people I've been trying to hook him with, they ain't got no kids. They are professional people in the corporate world that have been throwing themselves, not even throwing themselves.

[01:49:10]

The couple of people that I've heard you've been trying to hook him up to, he don't want... He don't want that. Now, he don't want something to everybody. Everybody's mom ain't into that. He ain't.

[01:49:19]

Having a good time. Listen, I wouldn't even put him in that position to be dealing with somebody that's fun. We didn't did all that already.

[01:49:29]

Put me in that position.

[01:49:30]

I've been trying. You ain't listening.

[01:49:33]

Don't do the we part. Don't do the we part.

[01:49:35]

But go ahead. I got you, though, Prime. I got you, though. You're going to be happy about this.

[01:49:39]

I ain't ready, though, though.

[01:49:41]

What? You got to heal?

[01:49:43]

No, it's just I know me.

[01:49:45]

I know you too.

[01:49:47]

I'm married to the game.

[01:49:50]

Right. I know. I'm married to the game too. I'm with you. I'm married to the game too.

[01:49:55]

You ain't married to nothing. You got a good woman and you ain't married to too long. Hold up.

[01:50:00]

I got a good what?

[01:50:02]

You got a great woman.

[01:50:03]

That's what I'm for. To make sure you two have two. Before this year is out, you got to have a plus one to my wedding. You ain't walking in there by yourself. You got to have a plus.

[01:50:13]

One to my wedding. I got five kids. I'm walking in with a whole five. I take the kids everywhere.

[01:50:18]

Man, listen, if you them kids.

[01:50:20]

In that plus one. I'm bringing Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear, my plus one.

[01:50:23]

Hey, ain't no dog. Ain't no dog. Ain't no dogs are loud.

[01:50:26]

He would try to do that joke. You want to do that I'm going to get me one of the pigs off the beach there. I'm going soon. They gave my whole family a trip there. Oh, my God. I'm going soon. With the Bahamas? Yeah.

[01:50:40]

I would have gotten married there. And that's all?

[01:50:44]

Wait.

[01:50:45]

You talk about in Zuma.

[01:50:47]

I'm going to Mommas. I want to go to Piggies. What area? I want to go see the Piggies. I don't know. It's some trip that is beautiful.

[01:50:56]

Beautiful.

[01:50:57]

I don't know about that. I got married, they ain't been back. But go ahead. There's a whole other thing. Time. A couple of shows ago, they said our top five comedians. We saw Red Fox. You post to Red Fox? Love Red Fox. Oh, yeah. Give me your top five comedians. Red Fox, Richard Proud. This isn't in the order. I'm just throwing them out there randomly. Red Fox, Richard Prior, Flip Wilson, Bernie Mike probably in there. Yeah. It may be a... What's my dark complexion, brother name that passed away prematurely? You talk about... I mean, there's a lot of man. Robin. Robin Harris.

[01:51:47]

Robin Harris. Baby's kids.

[01:51:49]

Yeah, Robin. There's some great one, man. Because I.

[01:51:55]

Mean- Very good ones.

[01:51:57]

Wait, nobody mentioned Paul Mooney. They can't be a list when Itried. I don't think we could be a mess without Murphy. Even though he doesn't do it. But Eddie, when he was... But I think that the gentleman I mentioned, the thing that most of them shared in common is they all had shows. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You got to understand, Flint, Wilson, Red Fuck, all those guys had shows. Richard Pryor was doing so much on the screen. That's what got me. Yeah. That's what got me early on. They made me dream. They're asking, Prime, what's your favorite top water? Teach a man how to fish. Take your baby fishing every chance you get. What do you like? What do you like so much about the water? The serenity and peace of it. You might not realize that when you go to Vegas, those that who go to Vegas, you see water everywhere. It's something about the serenity and the peacefulness of water. It makes you... There they believe it makes you want to gamble more and spend more, do more. It's water down there out of every view in Vegas. I just love water. I love the fish, man.

[01:53:11]

Matter of fact, it's so funny that you said that because I was in my backyard here in Texas, and I was like, I ain't got no water back then. I just had them build a whole lake in my backyard, man.

[01:53:25]

Wait, time out. Time out, man. You mean you got a lake like Tommy Davis and did in that Martin episode in the house?

[01:53:35]

I got two lakes. I got Lake Prime and Lake Time property. I have named my third lake. I'm trying to name a third lake. Can we eat fish out of that pond? Because every time I know you're- What kind you got fish? I'm taking the red lobster. We ain't doing that. No, you got a catfish pond. I can eat my fish. You're not eating my fish. Why would you want to eat.

[01:53:55]

My fish? Hold on. You built two lakes, three lakes, and you got-.

[01:53:59]

I have two lakes? Yeah. I just built the third one.

[01:54:03]

What fish you got?

[01:54:04]

Bass, bluegill, croppy, no species. The blue grill. Hey, man. Let me go catch a fish, man. Okay, I throw the bag back, but let me keep the blue grill and the crappy. You know what? I'll let you do that. Damn. You ain't patient enough to fish anyway, so I know you ain't coming. I'll beat you fish and prep. You ain't patient enough to fish. You're not patient enough. First of all, you ain't going to sit nowhere that long. I know you like a bogey. You know I know you. Unless I have company. There you go right there. We're going to move on. You want to move on then. Tyra, let me ask you a question. Would you eat raccoon, parsom, alligator, rabbit? Rabbit. My momma scarred me with rabbit. I had a pet rabbit. I stayed in John Walker's apartment. Anybody in the Fort Myer know that's part of the complex, like the projects, right? I stayed in John Walker's apartment, stayed on the second floor. I had a pet rabbit.

[01:54:57]

Some way.

[01:54:58]

I went to school come back, rabbit gone. We got rabbit for dinner that night. I said, Look at Mom. I said, Look at mom. You all got to stop. Ain't nobody cook your rabbit? I said, Well, how we got rabbit and my rabbit gone? We're on the second floor. We're on the second floor. Where did my rabbit go? How my rabbit going to leave or run away in the second floor in the hood? How? But we got rabbit. No, your stepdad, he went and got rabbit from dying here. That's the rabbit he cooked. Well, where my rabbit? I'm scarred. I'm scarred about that rabbit. To this day, I'm scarred about that rabbit. How are you going to cook my rabbit and ask me to eat it? They asked, Edwardo, Tappia asked Coach, Prime, if you could choose as a head coach, would you be the head coach or the general manager of the charges? I don't want to do pros. I love college. I would never do pro.

[01:55:54]

I don't believe that.

[01:55:56]

That's a lie.

[01:55:57]

I don't believe that.

[01:55:58]

Prime.

[01:55:59]

You're the very... Listen to me. Stay with me, baby. You are the very person who had a song called, Must be the money that's turning me. If they show you that money over there in L. A, guess where we're going to be at. Notice I said we, guess where we're going to be at.

[01:56:18]

I'm so glad you said that. Let me address this one thing at a time. Must be the money was a testimony. I wasn't bragging about the money. I was saying, must be the money that's turning you all on. I said, Diamond Rolex, Gators on my feet. I got to pay every day of the week. My hair is done, my finger nails too. Six buttons down. I don't know what this do. Must be this money. I was saying you all changed.

[01:56:40]

It.

[01:56:41]

Must be the money. Now, secondly, I'm come on. God has provided everything I need, man. I'm having the time of my life. I love to go to Colorado. I love the kids that I get to coach. I love the recruiting process. I love it.

[01:56:57]

I like the way it sound.

[01:56:58]

I like the purity of the young men. Yes, sir. I like the sensitivities, and I like all the amateurism of it, even though it's turning to pros because everybody wants a bag now. But I would have a hard time in a locker room with a guy that's making a multitude of millions and he don't want to play. I don't want to give this all. I would have a problem with that, Chad. A real problem with that. I can't do that. I've been trying to tell, he ain't never played with nobody like that. Yes, he did. He just didn't want to see it.

[01:57:31]

Wait, they just played for the money?

[01:57:34]

Or didn't want to play it all? They didn't really want to give it their all. Just wouldn't want to play. They had a lot of talent. They just messed it around.

[01:57:43]

Well, messed it around by doing things off the field, not on the field.

[01:57:47]

And on the field. Just don't want to do right.

[01:57:49]

Yeah, see, I ain't paying attention like that, honestly. I ain't going to lie to you.

[01:57:53]

I don't want you in L. A. You can't be in L. A. With me. Me and- First of all, L. A. Too expensive for me. You know how cheap I am. I'm not getting a house. I don't like California.

[01:58:04]

I'm trying to get closer to Shannon so he could tell you I want to sit.

[01:58:09]

Close to him. I don't. Shannon don't want us close to the him. I don't. You haven't got that here. Have he ever invited you anywhere to California?

[01:58:15]

No. He don't even answer my damn text message.

[01:58:18]

Thank you. I'll meet you somewhere if you get there. He's going to be evasive if I'm getting there based on what's in there.

[01:58:25]

Right.

[01:58:27]

That's who he is. You ain't know who he is. He don't want us there. First of all, he needs to get his butt back in Atlanta. That's what he needs to do. No, I don't need to get back in Atlanta. No, I don't.

[01:58:38]

Well, you said you were taking me to the place with the booty juice.

[01:58:41]

Magic City. He ain't going there. Chana ain't going there. First of all. Second of all, you still got your house there? Yeah. How you got a house there? You invite nobody and don't let nobody use it. That's selfish. That's why I call him selfish all of that.

[01:58:55]

He's selfish. Hey, can I use it for hair?

[01:58:58]

I talked to Mads. Mads come on in. What he said? First of all, Magic is a hero, a national treasure. Let's get that right. Magic came to one of the games, still looking good, still fly. Magic is still Magic. You're talking about somebody that should have a movie, a documentary done? Yeah. Please. Magic changed everybody's life. Yeah. And just talk game. I mean, Magic just talked your game and all that, man. I love Magic. Nikki Taylor says, Dear Ocho and Coach Brian, please know how much of a blessing you are to genuine black culture. So proud to each of you, you are needed. Thank you, Nikki. We really appreciate that. Thank you, Nikki. That is definitely needed. That is. We talk about... I'm not the only one that's out there. More so me and you are prime than Ocho. But we talk about how I don't know what it is, is that when we see one of us starting to do good.

[01:59:56]

We.

[01:59:57]

Start, Oh, I don't like something he said, or I don't like something he did, or he's not authentic. I'm like, bro, you do realize they print money. Although I'm making a little bit of it, I ain't taking none out your pocket.

[02:00:12]

I just.

[02:00:13]

Don't understand. That's one of the reasons Gilbert and I, besides wanting to do great do things together, is that we wanted to show people that black people can get together and elevate one another and not have to talk about one another. First of all, I could go on for days because I'm in the coaching realm and you have no idea the boy we deal with, the boy we deal with, the boy we deal with, the boy we deal with, they tell the kids about our program. Oh, my God. You wouldn't even believe it. I'm not talking about... I'm talking about us. And it baffles me that all we've ever tried to do. One thing I've never seen Ocho do is hate on somebody. I've never seen him treat anybody unfairly or unjustively. I've never seen you just... I've seen you're angry a couple of times when somebody disrespect you, Shaney. You're ready to check them. That's who you are. But I've seen you go out your way to be kind and to be nice. You all know how I get that. I try to hear everybody and their mama. You all know that from day one before these cameras even came.

[02:01:19]

I'd have helped a lot of people in the mama, but you know what I'm talking about? Well, go ahead, Tyra. Go ahead, go ahead, take your boy. Go ahead, take your boy, Tyra. But I know what you're doing. That's why you ain't no good. But I don't understand people that just want to wish ill on another man just because he's successful or he's doing it his way authentically. I don't understand that. I really don't. It's hard for me to fathom on a daily basis, even some of the stuff that my kids receive. I'm like, You all got to be kidding me. I mean, they'll show me some of the text messages or some of the stuff on social. It's unbelievable. I think social just gives too many people for access to you to say anything they want. I don't know how somebody wakes up in the morning angry and just going to tweet something when you put something out positively and you're going to tweet something. Chad was the first one that hip all of us, athletes to this. He was the Genesis. I know nothing about this.

[02:02:22]

He.

[02:02:23]

Did that. He had the NFL on fire. Man, I remember this joke of him used to say, I'm going to the movies. Anybody coming to the movies, you're in free. He ran out the whole theater. That's who he is. He's never changed. He takes care and leaves enormous tips. I would never do that. But he leaves enormous tips and write a wonderful note. That's just who he is. I know what you do for people. I don't understand how somebody could just be nasty, man. When you see the blogs or the podcast and they're saying negativity about you, how does it? I know your kids, I know they want to respond. But how do you say, you know what, let it go. Because I'm 56 and I haven't been there and done that. We've been in the light how long? Long, 30. Over 30 years. Don't you think I had nor the end of the light back then? I've been in there over 30 years, man. I'm in the third quarter of my life. I've been Prime time. I've been Prime. Now I'm Coach Prime. I'm in the third quarter and I'm winning. I'm up. I'm up.

[02:03:38]

I'm up. Oh, man, I'm high step. I got the hem out of hand right now. You think I'm going to do anything to let them catch up? No, I can't fathom that. My kids are watching me. Forget America. My kids are watching me. My kids are watching how Daddy respond to adversity. They watch me every day. I get to go to work with my kids every day, and that's going to be the best year of my life because this is the last year I get to coach my boys. That's going to be a phenomenal year. Have you thought about what it's going to be like? Because there haven't been a situation in which you haven't coached them. Should do or went away to South Carolina for a year, but Shadur- Shiloh. Shiloh went away. You've coached Shadur every step of the way. Yeah. He's the only coach you've ever... He's ever known. The first time this year, our last game was the first game ever that I was present and he didn't play. First game he missed since peewee League that I was there. Now, I was in hospital for four games in Jackson that he played, but I had never played with him.

[02:04:43]

That's tremendous. Baby girl playing basketball. I love it, man. I love it. Deandre is in Atlanta comes out all the time. Bucky is running your social media. Bucky does kill it. You turned this thing into a family affair. It's a family affair.

[02:05:00]

I have a question. We can make it an even bigger family affair. Now we can make this a package deal. I can talk to- Here we go. Listen, I can talk to Baby Girl about coming on down to Colorado if you give me a coaching job and we can make it a package deal.

[02:05:16]

I'm not going to give you a coaching job. I get you a coaching job, not a coaching coaching.

[02:05:21]

Because I know you ain't going to do right. What does that means? Am I getting money, money, or am I getting money? Money or am I getting money? No, you're.

[02:05:26]

Getting money. Who? You're getting money. You're moat.

[02:05:30]

Wait, wait. The N-E-Y ain't no name of it.

[02:05:33]

You ain't getting the N-E-Y yet because I don't trust you yet because I know you ain't going to do right.

[02:05:39]

But listen- You're going.

[02:05:40]

To be a heck of a coach. Now, I trust your skills and your knowledge and what you're going to spit to the kid. I trust that.

[02:05:47]

Spit to the kid? I'm going to have all my cleats. I lead by example by actually doing.

[02:05:52]

You're right. I do reconcile that you will do that. Oh, yeah.

[02:05:57]

When it comes to my pay, I need the NUI on the end of my money. I don't want no more.

[02:06:01]

That's the problem. That's where we're going to have the problem.

[02:06:03]

Yeah, see, I can't do that. We're going to go back to the drawing board and we talk about this later.

[02:06:10]

You don't want to build to that? If you build to it, you can't just come in and get it.

[02:06:15]

Who can't?

[02:06:21]

We need Coach Friday at least once a month. This has been amazing. He was very fortunate because he reached out to me, said, man, we're all on again. I said, We all are. Thank you. I called you. You didn't call me because you're nasty. He did call me. He did call me. He did call me. He hit me up, say, hey, man, we all on again. We all have too much fun without me, and I don't like that. I got mad. He said, I'm coming. I said, Hold on. How are you too big you going to come on that show? He said, I'm coming on. What are coming on? It's right. What are coming on? It's way past my bedtime. He's past my bedtime too. That's why I'm in a roll.

[02:06:55]

It's past my bedtime too, but I've been enjoying this so much. You know what I've been doing I take a nap during the day. I take a nap during the day just so I can stay up. And I still get up at 5:00 AM every time.

[02:07:06]

That's it. During the season, I get up at 4:25 every morning during the season. Now I get to get to sleep in a little more. By the way, I ain't saying nothing about us. You know we're recruiting our butts off right now, right? I know you are. Wait, who? What? Recruiting our butts off right now. We dug with that thing right now.

[02:07:23]

That is why you should have me on your team when it comes to the recruiting process. You got the selling point right here. Who else? Put me inside somebody at my house and let me do the talking. You already know what's going to happen. I'll sell water to a well. What? I believe you. Come on, man.

[02:07:39]

What are you doing?

[02:07:41]

Now, what you want to do? We can start next week.

[02:07:44]

I can send them.

[02:07:46]

Yeah.

[02:07:47]

Our receiver court is ridiculous. The receivers.

[02:07:49]

Oh, they're nice.

[02:07:50]

No, no, no. They're nice. The guys we just sent.

[02:07:54]

Oh, wait, some more boys?

[02:07:57]

Hey, we've been showing that. The all right, you got a job for me? No, you ain't coming nowhere around you or your dogs. No. Because I know you ain't going to do right. I know you ain't going to do right, and you're selfish.

[02:08:12]

What's up, Bo? Shout out to my brother, Bo. Shout out to my brother, Bo, man. Watch it, man. You met Bo before, Brian. You probably don't remember.

[02:08:20]

I don't remember.

[02:08:21]

Yeah, you met him before. Bo, what's up? Baby, I love you.

[02:08:25]

They're asking in the chat, Coach. They're asking, are you expected to Laura, Travis, Hunter, and all of that. But we have overall snap count on both sides of the ball? Travis, because me and you out if I try to take him out of the game. You got to understand some dogs got to hunt. That's just who he is. He has to hunt. The thing about it, you just got to get more depth, which we went and got just in case. I say, Travis, you know what? Take a breath on defense because we got dogs as well. We didn't have that. We didn't have the depth. Or take a breath on offense. Man, we got so many done receivers right now and they all have a pro grade. They all can ball, man. Jay, you would love to get down with them. And they real ones too, man. They love the game. They talk, they talk. They talk. I let them be unapologetically them. I want them to be.

[02:09:11]

Who they are. We got talkers out there. We got.

[02:09:13]

Some.

[02:09:13]

Talkers too. Okay, that's where I need to be. That's where I need to be. See, that alone should tell you why you need to hire me. That alone right there.

[02:09:23]

But I know you ain't.

[02:09:24]

Going to do right. I promise I'm going to do right. I got structure and discipline. Now? I got something that can't be taught. There's a certain factor that I was born with. That I could pass it off to them young fellows.

[02:09:39]

You do have that. Chana, what did you think? No. Don't lie.

[02:09:44]

What are you...

[02:09:45]

Thank you, Shannon.

[02:09:47]

See.

[02:09:48]

What I'm talking about? Hey, Shannon ain't going to lie to me.

[02:09:50]

First, see, he ain't going to lie to me. He won't bring me on first take. Now he's saying I don't need to go work for you. You all trying to keep it, brother. You all trying to keep it, brother down.

[02:09:59]

Whatever you want, I'll keep you down without elevating you. We got a show called Ankinocho. Right.

[02:10:09]

I could do Ankinochow from Colorado.

[02:10:13]

You know we went to the Hall of Fame together, right? So we got an unbelievable bond. You do know that, right? Yeah, we can't lie to each other.

[02:10:20]

I'm in Hall of Fame, too. I put on my own goddamn jacket.

[02:10:24]

No, you did.

[02:10:25]

Yeah, my jacket 101. Your jacket, everybody got them.

[02:10:29]

That's a lie.

[02:10:32]

Wait, let me take that back. Everybody that's in got one of them. Yeah. Listen, I got a bus, too. My bus 14, Carago. You want to see it? Mm-mm. Okay, I'm just letting you know.

[02:10:45]

You got to be hard and stuff around your butt. Your butt is all that good. Yeah, exactly. Your bus probably got a nose crunched up. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it.

[02:10:58]

I love you all. It's all that matter. That's what it's about, man. It's about freedom. Life is short. I can't do that.

[02:11:05]

You shouldn't have any.

[02:11:08]

Restrictions while you're living.

[02:11:09]

Draw the line. Draw the line.

[02:11:11]

Huh?

[02:11:12]

Draw the line.

[02:11:13]

We're not in kindergarten no more. We don't.

[02:11:15]

Draw a line. I don't even like to use the same bathroom. I got to have two toilets. You got yours, I got mine. Thank you. You got your that got mine.

[02:11:24]

God damn.

[02:11:25]

You got yours, I got mine.

[02:11:27]

Who living like that man?

[02:11:29]

Me and him.

[02:11:36]

Two toilets, though. Listen, when my baby get ready and she got to go somewhere, I need you right there beside me. I'm on one side of the sink, you're on the other side of the sink. You need help? You want me to zip up your dress?

[02:11:47]

I do that. I do that. But I want you on that side.

[02:11:52]

I.

[02:11:53]

Want you on that side getting ready.

[02:11:55]

See, it's a little different for me. I do all the maintenance. I do her upkeep. I do her makeup, her lashes, her brows, her lip stick, her foundation. I apply all that. I need you right next to me because you're not walking out of that house without me making sure you're on point because you are a representation of me once you leave out that door. Okay, so it's really about you. No, it ain't about me.

[02:12:17]

No, the way it sounded is.

[02:12:18]

About you. Everything I just said is how I save my money now. Stay with me. I don't save my money. She don't have to go nowhere to get her hair done. She ain't got to go nowhere to get her lashes, eyebrows, or get her makeup done. I do everything. I do do all that. Ask her. Are she in the chat still? I do everything.

[02:12:35]

No, I don't believe all that, but I do believe you probably do the whikes in.

[02:12:38]

No, no, no, no, no.

[02:12:39]

I know you do the whikes in.

[02:12:44]

Listen, Prime, you ain't seen my YouTube tutorials? I got YouTube tutorials.

[02:12:49]

For the- I like your packing stuff. I can't do that because you don't look... I ain't see one of my draws in one time. You're going for a walk.

[02:12:56]

That's it. That's all you need. Listen, what's the draw? You flip them inside out.

[02:13:01]

I can't do it. I'm a clean freak. I shower. I would shower like that. I shower about two, three times a day as well. Thank you. Thank you.

[02:13:09]

You all shower? See? Nah, I ain't doing that. Don't be drawing.

[02:13:13]

He take them off and they stand up by.

[02:13:14]

The same You shower two, three times a day?

[02:13:17]

Yeah, I got to, though.

[02:13:19]

Man, you all niggas tripping. I ain't running up my goddamn water bill, shouting two, three times a day. I ain't even goddamn going nowhere. For what? My water bill every month is about $80.

[02:13:28]

James Evans.

[02:13:30]

$80. Two, three times. You ain't even go on nowhere. Who are you trying to impress?

[02:13:36]

I work out early in the morning. I got to stay right now. You pickpick. You know what? I'm on the field and I'm pouring like then I want you to see that bag. I want.

[02:13:43]

You.

[02:13:47]

To see that bag. Look here. I don't know about you all, but I got to go to work in the morning. Thank you for watching another episode of Nightcap.

[02:13:54]

Why are you always trying to get off, man?

[02:13:56]

That's what he is. That's what he is, man.

[02:13:59]

You see, he didn't even say nothing. He just said, Hey, okay, that's it. I got to.

[02:14:02]

Go to work. You have no idea how he treats me. You have no idea, Chad.

[02:14:06]

Listen, he treat me bad. He just told me no when you asked for.

[02:14:12]

A reference to come to Colorado. I'll do no recommendations. See what I mean? He ain't lying about that. He definitely recommend nobody to nothing. You know what this is?

[02:14:26]

It looks like some Jordan, stay Burgundy. Burgundy and art. That's the ugly colorway.

[02:14:33]

That's not burgundy, though.

[02:14:35]

That's red?

[02:14:37]

Yeah.

[02:14:37]

It's burgundy on my end.

[02:14:39]

No, that's red. You got to do something with your camera, your TV. No, your eyes.

[02:14:42]

No, I didn't.

[02:14:43]

You probably still got a flow model. He got a flow model. He got that far as Whittaker are going on that level.

[02:14:52]

Yeah, I only got one good eye as it is. Yeah, I.

[02:14:54]

Can see it. I ain't never noticed that, though. You noticed that? Yeah, I got that far as Whittaker. No, your momma was cleaning that day, by the way. When she had to talk so long with.

[02:15:04]

The shave. Hey, I was fly, wasn't I?

[02:15:06]

Yeah. Hey, you all did that. Hey, boy.

[02:15:08]

You all did that. Hey, I'll clean it in the border health.

[02:15:12]

No, you were cleaning that. I can just clean it, credit.

[02:15:15]

One thing about it, boy, I could put on the suit.

[02:15:17]

No, you put on the suit.

[02:15:18]

Hey, so imagine me as a recruiter going to them parents' houses and is suited. I ain't wearing no... What did you know?

[02:15:29]

Colorado apparel?

[02:15:31]

You're not going to Colorado. I ain't wearing no Colorado apparel.

[02:15:33]

I'm wearing suits. That's a problem.

[02:15:35]

I'm wearing suits.

[02:15:36]

I need you to represent us, but still.

[02:15:38]

I'm wearing a suit. I'm going to put a Colorado Buffalo pin on my suit.

[02:15:42]

I'll tell you what to do. I'm going to try you out in Miami. I'm going to see how many, because it's just the number of grounds. I'm going to see how many that you can sign and then we'll go from there.

[02:15:52]
