We do what we do, but we need people to like what we do. So we greatly appreciate that. Ocho, let's jump right into this ball game. The Cowboys beat the Lions 2019. Cd-lam had a career night. What we had talked about last week, he got going early. You see 17 targets tonight.

[00:05:26]

That's.

[00:05:27]

What he should have had last week, but they didn't make that mistake they made last week. Dallas improves 11 and five, remains in the mix for the NFC title. Dallas falls to, excuse me, Detroit falls to 11 and five, third in the NFC. So the worst they can be is third in the NFC. That's the worst they can be. So they will host at least one playoff game. Ojo. Ojo. Ojo. Where do you want to start?

[00:05:53]

Listen, I liked the game. I enjoyed the game on both sides of the ball. Obviously, the first half, it was a bend, but don't break. Excuse me. It was a bend, but don't break defense. Both offenses really couldn't get in the rhythm, but it made for excitement, especially into the second half of the game. That was decent. Cd-lan was fucking... Oh, shoot, my bad. My bad. I got curse. Cd-lan was balling. Brandon Cooke showed up tonight. Doug was efficient. That was very efficient. They really couldn't get in the end zone as many times as I would have liked them to. But it made for an exciting game on the tail end. The Lions, listen, we say they fall to 11 and five, but we're talking about the Lions here. Is it really falling? Being 11 and five and being third to NFC and obviously going to the playoffs? They play good. Obviously, they couldn't overcome the turnovers. I think they golf through about my mistake. He did. And I really like Dan Campbell. Dan Campbell is the onus to go for the two-point conversion. They get it. And obviously the tackle, not checking in. Right.

[00:06:57]

And they're going for it again. And him not even caring. I really like that. For him, the team, just the confidence, the morale, just the whole nightyard. They didn't get the win. But again, it was a great game. The Cowboys played very good football. I'm glad they figured out in order to be in games, in order to win games, you got to get your playmakers to ball. They tried to run. The running game really wasn't efficient with Parlor tonight.

[00:07:25]

But got them. Hadn't been efficient all year. Hadn't been good all year.

[00:07:28]

Yeah, you're right about that. I didn't want to say that part. I just wanted to mention it about tonight. But CD-LAM went off, man. It was a great day. This is what obviously you just said. I'm going to piggyback on what you just said. This was CD-LAM, what they should have done with him last week too.

[00:07:43]

And not.

[00:07:43]

Allowed him to disappear into the second half of the game. Right. It makes life easy. It makes life easy for the coordinator. It makes life easy for Jack, and it opens up everything else.

[00:07:53]

I thought Doug threw the ball exceptionally well tonight, Ojo. With the exception of that one mistake where he got picked, he was a little late throwing the CD on the move. I thought Doug played really well because even if you look at some of the incomplete that he had to the tight end, if the defense doesn't make great plays, Jake Ferguson come down with those balls. He had two, but it took extraordinary plays by the defensive player to get the ball out. So Doug put the ball on the money. So with the exception of that one bad throw, I thought he played, I thought he threw the ball exceptionally well. The Cowboys can't run the football. Doug has a lot on his plate because he has to be great. Because when you're one dimensional, now everybody knows what you can do, and they know the Cowboys can't run. But to the cowboys credit, they were able to find the get city isolated. They put him in the slot a lot. They did a lot of picking. If you notice, they did a lot of rub rubs, and both guys can't press because you're going to get picked off like you did.

[00:08:50]

So somebody has to be off and somebody has to be bum. They didn't get that rectified. I thought the Lions ran the ball well. The problem that I have with the Lions, you know the cowboys, they're looking to cross your face. They want to make every run play bounce. How many times did we see them get tackled in the back of the back of the back? Because they let D-Law or they let Armstrong or they let a Diggie Zua or they let someone cross their face. You know the cowboys, they're undersized. What they don't want you to do is to come downhill at them. They're looking to make everything bounce. I mean, damn. Lange, I'm sure you watch film. I'm sure your old line coach told you. I'm sure the running backs told you. Do not let them cross your face. Almost every time. When they didn't let them cross their face, 5, 6, 7, 8 yards, 9 yards, 10 yards. It's really that simple. Uto, look, I get it. The two-point, look, I got a problem with the first down they went for it on fourth down. You did? I did. No, I'm talking about early in the game.

[00:09:59]

You remember what they ran with the fake put? They ran.

[00:10:01]

The fake put.

[00:10:01]

You didn't like that? I didn't for the simple fact you took points off the board after that great play. Now that's deflating because we did something great and now we got nothing to show for it. At the end of that, I want something to show for, man, we went for it. That's huge because look where they were. They would have given Dallas the ball back at the 20-yard line. Worst case scenario, the Cowboy is going to come away with three points, maybe seven and blow the ball game open. That was a gutsy call by Dan Campbell. Now pay it off by getting points. Maybe now we got a different situation. Now we're going for it. Now if we go for two, that puts us up by three. Now the Cowboys are going to need to kick a field goal in order to tie us. But in that situation, Decker does not report because if we're to believe that all the angles that ESP showed us, he never goes to the referee or the umpire and does this.

[00:11:01]

You always got to report. You got to report. You got to make sure he let you know he got you coming in reporting as well. Yeah, exactly.

[00:11:09]

Now you look at the receiver. He's the ex. He has to be on the ball. The moment you're off the ball, you make the line, but ineligible.

[00:11:17]

Yeah.

[00:11:19]

So it was just a matter, okay, what do we want to call? Illegal touching by the offensive line or illegal formation by the wide receiver not being on the ball. The choice was yours to have it.

[00:11:29]

Yeah, one or the other. They had to call something. And I think the thing about it is normally, obviously you strip your plays, you strip your game plan. I think they might not have practiced this in a very long time, because if they had, they would have regurgitated over and over. Make sure you check in and make sure you on the ball.

[00:11:47]

That's on Jerry Goff. Jerry Goff got to say, Hey, Decker, you make sure you report. Hey, official. 68, 68.

[00:11:54]

Now.

[00:11:56]

You probably don't... You got to do it in a quiet manner because you don't want the defense to know that he's eligible now because they're listening to, Hey, Mr. Rev, 68 is eligible. Decker needs to go to him. Me.

[00:12:10]

Take.

[00:12:10]

Something. Yeah. Yes. That's crazy.

[00:12:13]

It was a good play call too. It was a great play call. The great play call.

[00:12:17]

Ocho, you're not expecting no big ass Lama to go catch me.

[00:12:20]

Hell, no. Especially in that situation. Not that scenario. No. On a two-point conversion?

[00:12:24]

No. Hell, no. And he like semi-rolls away. So you're thinking, okay, we're going to see a sprint option to the right because he's the right-handed quarterback. Now he fields up and he throws back side. Decker makes a great play, excuse me, because he catches the ball with his hands. I just did like, look, I get it. Okay, the first time, Ocho, we didn't get it. So now they got to back us up. Now I'm going to kick the field goal and I'm going to kick the PAT. I'm going to kick the PAT. I just am. Now I get it. You're like, okay, we're locked in. We're locked into the number three C. I'd like to be able to have a chance to get the number two C. I don't know if they had a chance. Did they have a chance to get if they went out?

[00:13:02]

They had to have a chance to get something in order to be going for two in.

[00:13:07]

That case. Well, they're locked into the three C because the NFC South winner can't get to eleven games if I'm not mistaken. I think they're like eight and something, eight and seven. I don't think they can get-.

[00:13:20]

The Bucks. It's the Bucks, right?

[00:13:21]

Right. They can't get to 11 wins. Basically, it's the 49ers, the Eagles, and the Cowboys. Now we're the chance to get the number one seed.

[00:13:30]

That's.

[00:13:33]

Only if the Eagles and the lose out. The Eagles and the 49ers.

[00:13:45]

That's crazy.

[00:13:47]

Hold on. Esp just showed another angle. Jared Goff literally sends Taylor Decker and tells him to report as eligible. But did he tell the officials? Oh, my goodness. He's talking to the official, and it seems to me that he's telling the official, 68 is eligible. That better not be the case.

[00:14:10]

Wait, hold on. But wait a minute. Jared Goff can't tell them the actual player. The actual player has to go check in, right?

[00:14:20]

Esp showed another angle. Jared Goff sends Decker to tell the official that he's reporting as eligible.

[00:14:27]

Right. So Decker did report.

[00:14:30]

That's what they're saying. I mean, the angle is that Derrick off literally sends Decker. Let me see. Okay.

[00:14:40]

Somebody in trouble.

[00:14:42]

Well, they got it out. The out is the receiver didn't line up on the ball.

[00:14:48]

So we could have called- They would have to a flag anyway. Right.

[00:14:51]

But that's not what you do the flag. That's not what you call.

[00:14:54]

Right.

[00:14:55]

You can't say, Oh, the guy was… Wecould have called outside, but that's not what you call. You called holding. You should have thrown two field. We had an illegal formation and an illegal touching. That way you cover yourself. Because sometimes you see it. We have holding by the defense. That field of decline, we have unnecessary roughness on the quarterback. That penalty is accepted.

[00:15:20]

Okay. I see where you're going.

[00:15:23]

Like.

[00:15:25]

I said, I thought the Cowboys defense played okay. I thought the offensive line did a great job of protecting Jared Goff. Goff did not have a good night throw in the football. He was really good on the last drive. Then you see the last throw, he aims it, and he forced the tight in to try to go down. Maybe if he puts it on him and gives him an opportunity to turn. Because in that situation, Ocho, you want somebody to put the ball low on you so you can turn.

[00:15:49]

You can turn up field.

[00:15:50]

Right away. That's all you want.

[00:15:51]

Yeah.

[00:15:56]

Ojo, he's in the huddle. He tells Decker, Decker walks towards the official as to say, I'm eligible.

[00:16:06]

So then the rest got the call wrong then, basically. They did.

[00:16:15]

He walks to the referee. He walks to the referee. He leaves the huddle, walks to the referee and says, Now, I think Brad Jeffrears, and Brad, somebody is the official who is the referee. Brad got some explaining to do when they go to the ref pool. When he talks to the pool reporter, he's got some explaining to do because the reporter is going to see this, and they're going to see him leave the huddle and go talk to the referee.

[00:16:47]

What excuse can he use?

[00:16:49]

I don't know, but he's going to have some planning to do.

[00:16:54]

But you say, I mean, but the tackle was still covered up anyway. A flag would have had to be thrown. They didn't throw the flag.

[00:17:02]

It's just like with our defensive player, just like when Barr Miller lined up outside. They didn't throw the flag. So it ain't no penalty. We can only go by the penalty by what you call, what you threw the flag on. You threw the flag saying the player was an illegal touching because he's an offensive lineman. You didn't say illegal formation and illegal touching. You can throw two flags. You can throw three flags.

[00:17:27]

They.

[00:17:28]

Got some explaining to do, Ojo.

[00:17:30]

That's crazy.

[00:17:32]

Brad Allen.

[00:17:34]

And the fact that he.

[00:17:35]

Did check in. You know what? And he also did Chief Packers, and we know how that played out down the stretch. Remember, they called Understand Rubness on Patrick Mahons when he was inbound, and then they missed the Blayton pass interference.

[00:17:48]

They.

[00:17:49]

Missed the Blayton pass interference on Arman St. Brown. The dude grabbed him, and he got there before the ball had gotten there.

[00:17:56]

Yeah.

[00:17:58]

That's crazy. It's going to be very interesting. I'm anxious to see Brad Allen explains this because Jared Allen tells Taylor Decker to go to the official. He leads the huddle. He's talking to the referee who is supposed to let him know. That's not a good look. Because, Ojo, you know how it is. They're already talking about, Oh, it's scripted. Everything, Oh, the... You know what I'm saying? The one thing that, and that's why the one thing that you can have is professional sports. You can't have it make people think it's PPE, where the ending has already been scripted.

[00:18:35]

When I think about it, and I think about the game of football or sports in general, it's hard to script things like this. You got eleven guys on the field. You can't have everybody aligned on a certain script. All I need is to.

[00:18:49]

Get this way. I just need the official. I don't need the 11 guys. I just need one official. Right. Didn't you see how Tim Donahe did it in the NBA? He didn't have a whole lot of receivers in Cahoot. I just need to throw a flag at the most inopportune time. You see how that flag changed the dynamic? I'm not saying that's what happened, but I'm saying you see how they can do that.

[00:19:11]

Okay, I see where you're going with it.

[00:19:13]

What did you say? Right. Right. No, that's not what you can't assume. He can't assume.

[00:19:40]

That's crazy.

[00:19:42]

Because they brought two limas. They brought afrom an end running onto the field. He possibly thought that 70 was reporting.

[00:19:51]

Which.

[00:19:51]

Would have made.

[00:19:52]

60, 80- They did have that confused. Yes, because.

[00:19:55]

It was two limon now, and they look like they went unbalanced. Right. Let me see the formation. Just go to the formation. Let me see this formation.

[00:20:13]

That's crazy.

[00:20:15]

Because I want to see, did they go unbalanced or was it a.

[00:20:18]

Natural formation? I think that left side might have been oil, right?

[00:20:31]

Yeah, I just think the thing, O'Tro, it was a CD-LAM had to have an outstanding day because Michael Gallop got a lot of cardio in. The guy started the game, didn't get a target or a catch. He has the eighth highest cap hit. Yeah, that's unbalanced. They got noticed. It's a normal formation.

[00:20:52]

You sure the receiver was off the ball on that side, wasn't he?

[00:20:56]

He was. He X, he got to be on the ball.

[00:20:59]

Okay.

[00:20:59]

That's the X. Z is off the ball because normally the tight ends on the ball. If the tight ends in the flex position off the ball, now the Z has to step up.

[00:21:10]

Right. Okay. You got you right.

[00:21:14]

You got to have six guys on the line. You have to have six guys on the line of scrimage in order for it to be an eligible formation. Normally is five down line and the X receiver.

[00:21:28]

Okay.

[00:21:29]

The Z receiver is off the ball unless the tight end backs up off the ball, then the Z receiver can go on. It's going to be very, very interesting. Ojo, this is the 10th game where he's been held 20 a few yards, Michael Gallop. Remember at the beginning of the year, I said he didn't look the same last year. I said, okay, it's going to be interesting to see, because the second year is normally when the player looks like the original player before the injury.

[00:21:55]

He.

[00:21:56]

Doesn't look the same, Ojo.

[00:21:58]

He doesn't look the same, obviously. I don't think the opportunities are coming his way for him to really get into rhythm as he like. I don't think the trust in which Jack has to have in Gallop to be able to get open consistently and always be there for him. I don't think it's there like it once was when he was healthy. There were some plays that I do remember last year in that first round.

[00:22:25]

Yeah, he'll make a tough catch every once in a while.

[00:22:27]

But we need consistency, especially the predicament, the situation that the cowboys are going to be in. We need consistent play, especially at the number two position. Think about what you- We need consistent play from him.

[00:22:41]

You traded Amari. You traded Amari. Gallop was supposed to replace Amari's production.

[00:22:48]

I mean, he is capable of doing so, but I think the injury, it hampered that. He was capable of doing so, but I think the injury hampered that. It's very difficult to come back from ACL unless your last name, Peterson. Adrian Peterson is one of the few.

[00:23:04]

That came back from ACL. He two years removed, though. The way medicine is now, guys come back from ACL.

[00:23:09]

Listen, it's medicine, but that mentally is different. If you look at guys that have ACL injuries, you look at them, look at how they walk. Look at how they walk. You're never really ever the same. You'll never be your true self, your true self. Obviously, you have to get over that mental hurdle after getting injured too, willing to use.

[00:23:30]

That.

[00:23:31]

Leg or that side of your body, as opposed to where you used to when you knew there was nothing wrong with you.

[00:23:36]

I think, like you said, it's more mental than anything because we see with the way medicine is not and the guys the way they rehab, I mean, guys are coming back. I mean, yeah, that used to be a year and I'm willing to give guys grace and say, okay, the first year back, that's the rehab year, even though we're still playing. But that next year you should be 100%. You should be the player you were before you had that injury because you're completely ill. Now, Ojo, everything is functioning. Everything is functioning.

[00:24:04]

It's not that easy. It's not that easy, especially, listen, I've never had an injury, so I'm really not the one to be sitting here talking about ACLs. I'm just talking about from experience and knowing those who I've been around, those that I played with, and seeing them go through ACL injuries and go through other soft tissue injuries.

[00:24:23]

And.

[00:24:24]

Breaks for that matter, and trying to come back or coming back and playing a year or two years later. And they would tell me, and I would always ask, How you feel? It's like, man, I'm not the same. I'm out there trying, but I'm having to conversate and overwork other areas to make sure I don't hurt myself again.

[00:24:41]

Well, I could understand that, especially the first year back. That's why I tend to give guys grace that first year, because although you're back, I'm saying that you're still figuring your body out. Because it's just like anything. Anytime you come back for an injury, Am I going to be the same player? Once I get that hit, once I run that comeback, once I take that absorb that blow, I'm like, man, I'm okay. Yeah, I can do this. I can do this. But I just think the thing is, Ocho, they're going to have to make some decisions because he has the eighth highest cap here. Remember, they gave him the contract even after he had torn the ACL. They believed that he could come back and be what he once was, or they wouldn't have given him that contract. Because when you get a contract, Ocho, so yeah, I get it. I'm giving you a contract based on what I believe you can do, because I've already paid you for what you've done. It wasn't like I'm trying, Well, I ain't getting paid. I just want to show what I can do, and they're going to pay me moving forward.

[00:25:43]

No, they're paying you all along. Now moving forward over the next three, four or five years, this is what we believe you can be, and this is the value that we're placing on that. Now you can negotiate up or down or however they try to go down, you try to go up. But that's what they're trying to do. But it's going to be very interesting, Ojo, to see what happens with this call, because we've seen now, a couple of years ago, we saw Hitchins. I think it was Hitchins that run over the tight end, and they picked the flag up. This is the second time something has happened shady between the lions and the cowboys. I've never seen somebody, the guy ran the guy over, is blatant pass interference, and they picked the flag up. I'm sure the... I'm sure the Detroit is like, man, this is Dejabu. This bull job is happening all over again. I'm sure the Detroit Lions fans that's in the chat, they said, yeah, I remember when Hitch has ran over the guy and they picked the flag up. It was a big night for the Cowboy. I'm sure they didn't want to lose this game.

[00:26:47]

Jimmy Johnson goes into the ring of honor. Very short career, five years, two Super Bowels. I read the thing whereJimmy, Jerry was saying, he and Jimmy really didn't have any problems about, bro, ain't nobody fired. No back-to-back Super Bowl winning coach, no back-to-back NBA champion, no back-to-back Major League manager that wins back-to-back championship. And you fired him. Emmett Smith had just do realize that Emmett is 24. Michael is 26, Troy is 27. I mean, Troy is 27. No, Emmett is 24. Michael is probably 26. Troy is like 26.

[00:27:37]

Imagine if egos hadn't gotten the way. Imagine if Jerry Jones hadn't gotten in. Hes up his own way and allowed Jimmy Johnson just maybe not to be the face, but be the coach. And he was there for a few more years with that same team and tech. What do you think would happen? How many Super Bowels you think they would have? Think about it.

[00:27:59]

Okay. What they're saying is that Dan Campbell just said the explanation was, 70 reported and two people can't report. John Perry, ESP official at the analyst, says that's wrong. Two players can report as eligible. Oh, oh. Now, he Dan Campbell said that's the explanation they gave him.

[00:28:20]

Right.

[00:28:21]

But John Perry, he is the an official who was an official in the NFL-.

[00:28:26]

Two can report. -said that two can.

[00:28:30]

Brad Allen, I'm anxious to hear what he has to say when the pool of reporter. Let's see if we can get that. Because he has to give a special.

[00:28:40]

Situation.

[00:28:40]

Like that. Remember the Super Bowl? When the guy came forward and says, Look, what we noticed is that the guy tried to beat them. Juju goes inside, and when he tries to make a move to uncover away the guy we saw the tug. He had to explain why they threw the flag, especially in that critical.

[00:28:58]

Of a moment.

[00:28:59]

Braddy, I got a question.

[00:29:01]

Go ahead. If number 68 and 70 both report, would both of them actually be eligible to go out and catch a pass along with the receivers that are already lined up? Yeah. That's a first for me, and I've been saying for years.

[00:29:20]

That is a first for me.

[00:29:22]

I don't know if you remember this, but what the Patrisse was doing, they were making offensive lineman ineligible, but making the running backs eligible in the playoff game against the Ravens. The NFL did that. They said, You're violating the spirit. That's not what the rule was intended for. They get away with that. That's what the coaches do. They try to find a way to scour. Okay, they didn't say that we couldn't. Let's make them, hey, until they say we can't. Let's go ahead. We can.

[00:29:53]

Because.

[00:29:54]

You know what? It's easier to apologize than to ask for permission. Didn't- You know this old joke?

[00:30:01]

Yeah, I got you.

[00:30:04]

You know what? I didn't know. Clauseable, deniability. That's the term they like to use. I didn't know. So the Cowboys win 20 to 19, Doc Prescott had a monster day. He was 26 to 38, 3:45, two touchdowns, won an reception, CD-LAM, 17 targets, 13 catches, 227 yards, and a one touchdown. The second longest passing touchdown, pass plate touchdown in cowboy history, only behind the dandy darn Meredith to Bullet Bob Hayes of 95 yard.

[00:30:40]

Speaking of that 90, was it 92? It's 92 yard, right?

[00:30:42]

92, yes.

[00:30:43]

Speaking of that, what was 55 doing on the whiff when he had an easy safety?

[00:30:49]

You see, here's the thing. You see, he tried to get the ball out. If you sack him, the ball might come out because he doesn't see you.

[00:30:57]

You think he was trying to get the ball?

[00:30:59]

He tried to... He tried to forearm him because, see, that's the side that got the ball to. Right. If the ball is going to come out. Get him. Just put him on the... Sometimes you do try to do too much. He will.

[00:31:12]

Overthinking. I thought when I watched the replay and I saw it obviously on Twitter, I said, Well, damn. He closed his eyes. The middle of he any out of control. He's out of control. He just running. All Doug did was just move his shoulder and you missed completely.

[00:31:28]

That.

[00:31:29]

Means you're totally out of control.

[00:31:32]

Yeah, they're like a blind dog in a meathouse, Ojo. The man right there, he can smell that. He's just can't see it. He's like what? Blind dog in a meathouse. You smell the meat, but you can't see a damn thing. So there are going to be a lot of questions. I think there are a lot more questions than answers from this ball game. But give the Cowboys credit, they hold on and win at home. Both teams are now 11 and five. Cowboys won 2019 and after the Lions missed on three two-point conversion in the ball game to take a 21-20 lead. So give those guys, give the Cowboys credit. They found ways to make enough plays at the end, but we'll see. Who knows?

[00:32:18]

Oh, yeah. I'm excited. I'm excited for.

[00:32:26]

This next topic. Allen is looking at it at the point and pointing out Skipper. Decker is obviously trying to tell him he's the one reporting. Replay showed Allen telling Campbell it was 70 who reported, and Campbell screams no, it wasn't. Campbell said he gave the official a heads up pregame. Slomo replay show, Skipper saying, I didn't say a f'ing word. Clearly, they planned and they practiced it. Brand, Allen, you don't get to announce. You have to listen. A lot of times, and you notice this, Ojo, if you remember in the Super Bowl, Sean Payne told the official, be on the alert. We're coming with the own side.

[00:33:07]

Let them know ahead of time.

[00:33:08]

Let them know. Normally when you got a trick play or a gadget play, they'll give the officials the heads up to let them know, okay, we got a double, we got a double A, we got a lateral here coming. We got a lateral. So be on the lookout. It will be a lateral. It's not going to be a forward pass. Let them know before the game.

[00:33:29]

That's crazy, man. You see.

[00:33:32]

What they did? The way they did it is that you sent two lines over there. They're thinking, Oh, so 70 is over there. He said, I thought it was 70. 70 didn't say anything. It was Decker talking to you.

[00:33:47]

Now you're the referee, you're not paying attention.

[00:33:50]

Not paying attention. Because I got to cause some confusion. Because the cowboys don't know. They just see two lines over there, so they don't know which one is eligible and which one isn't.

[00:33:58]

Right. For all they... Normally doesn't the ref have to announce that so and so is eligible, right?

[00:34:05]

They normally... But I think they get away with that because now you alerting the defense.

[00:34:11]

You know what? I ain't played in so long. I just remembered them always alerting and letting them know that that certain number or the certain line was an eligible receiver. That's crazy. That's crazy.

[00:34:26]

Yeah, he said, Campbell also said that he ran this by them before the game. It's pretty clear. Brad Allen, so Skipper coming in and just assumed he was the player that was going to be reporting.

[00:34:37]

And the fact that Dan Campbell had that in his back pocket, knowing that probably wasn't going to be for a two-point conversion, but just had that playing in back pocket, knew they weren't running at some point in.

[00:34:48]

The game. Yeah.

[00:34:49]

That's crazy. What do you think about it?

[00:34:51]

A play like that, that's the play that I'm going to end something. You got this play on a fourth down or two-point conversion, that's the play. Because I got to have a play.

[00:35:05]

In my.

[00:35:06]

Back pocket.

[00:35:07]

That they don't know.

[00:35:09]

They don't know. They haven't seen it.

[00:35:11]

Did you see that double screen? That double screen that... Who was that? That Jordan Lewis picked off?

[00:35:18]

Yeah.

[00:35:19]

That wasn't nothing but film studying. Formation recognition. That's the only way you know the gym. How the hell you jump on the screen? And they fake the screen going the complete opposite way before they even came back to the opposite side. Let me tell you how.

[00:35:35]

We used to run the screen. Alex Gill, the offensive line coach. Rest in peace, Alex. He used to always say bad things happen when you run the screen outside the numbers. That's why you teach them to stay inside the numbers.

[00:35:49]

You.

[00:35:50]

Get outside the numbers, somebody can come clean your clock. You get outside the numbers, somebody going to come and duck in because you want to be inside because the linetime. Because the limas are not going to be way out that side of numbers. Where the limas are going to be. You have to realize they got to catch, pretend like they're going to block. Now they got to throw and go. Now you're hoping, now you're inside the numbers, now you tackle, fix them off. Now you got the guard looking to peel back. Is anybody chasing? I'm going to get in his way because I can't block behind the plate like we used to. Remember that's the old crack bag block. I'm just looking back just to get in his way. If there's nobody chasing, okay, I'm looking to the inside because I know somebody could possibly be coming from the inside. That's why you set the screen up, especially from a running back that's coming out of the back field, you stay inside the numbers. Bad thing. Go back and look at it and see where he was, and you'll understand, ladies and gentlemen, what I'm talking about.

[00:36:44]

This thing has taken a leg of its own. The Russell Wilson called the benching a low blow. The Bronco handling a rough situation. Some people have said the handling of rough situation makes free agent not want to go... Free is going to go because if they offer the most money.

[00:37:03]

They're going to go. The money, yeah. Listen, players always going where the money go. Thank you. Players are always going where the money is. Let's stop that. But again, I said it when we talked about it on the last show. It was a bunch of bullshit. It was a bunch of bullshit. For one, the way Sean Payton acted when he berated Russell on the sideline. I think he was even trying to bait him. He was trying to bait him. Now we.

[00:37:25]

Know what- He was trying.

[00:37:25]

To bait him and trying to get him to react. If I can just get him to react, if I can if I can rattle them. Here goes another reason on why the benching is coming. When all along it had been planned already for the simple fact that I had no idea until the story came out. Well, we came to be, we just beat the Kansas City Chief. What do you mean you want me to remove the injury clause in my contract?

[00:37:48]

Then the part that I don't like and Sean Payton saying, Well, I don't know anything about that. Sean, you have total control, bro. Come on, man.

[00:37:58]

Why did they do that? They're paying you $18 million for a reason now. Come on, man.

[00:38:02]

Had they gone? Even after they had beaten Kansas City and says, if you do not remove this injury clause from your contract, we're going to bench it. But they let him win another game and another game and another game, and another game, and they didn't bench it. Now, Russ had struggled the last couple of games, so you can make the argument, say, Well, I'm benching him because he's playing bad. But no, you didn't bench him when he was playing good. If the injury clause was that big of a deal, why not go ahead and bench him in October? Why not go ahead and bench him at the beginning of December, beginning of November? Why you wait till now?

[00:38:43]

See.

[00:38:43]

That's the problem. See, even though you can make the case that he, and I don't believe that's the case, but you can make the case that he's benching him because he's playing bad. All the people here is that you told him that if he didn't remove the clause.

[00:38:57]

I'm going to bench him. You're going to bench him.

[00:38:59]

And you didn't bench him when he was winning one, two, three or four games. So the injury couldn't have been that big of a deal. It only became a deal once you started to lose.

[00:39:08]

Yeah. I think on their end, they were trying to see as far as the turnaround goes, and they were on a winning streak. I'm not sure what the playoff implications might have been for the Broncos during that time, during that period, around October to now. I think they wanted to wait and see. And knowing Russell and knowing the person he is, he's not the type that ownership would have to worry about him playing hurt or saying that something wrong with me just to make sure that injury calls that money, he gets it. They know he's not even like that. They know he's not built like that. It's not his character. So there's really nothing for him to worry about, which is why we can go ahead. He's safe. He's safe. We can go ahead and play him anyway and see what happens and see where we go.

[00:39:52]

But this is what we do know. We know this guy leaked from somebody on that side. The Broncos.

[00:40:00]

Ain't leaking. They always do that. They do that on purpose.

[00:40:03]

First of all, Joe, the Broncos are not going to leak this because this makes them look terrible. Makes them look awful.

[00:40:11]

Right.

[00:40:12]

My thing is, look, Sean, I don't believe Sean ever liked Russ. I don't believe he even.

[00:40:20]

Looked- Wait, it's not his quarterback. Right, yeah. It's not his quarterback. He wasn't there when he came there. Ownership as well. They didn't bring Russ in. They didn't.

[00:40:29]

Do the deal. But they were in the process. They could have held up on giving Russ this contract. Russ had another year on his contract. The reason why Russ left Seattle is because Pete weren't going to do this deal.

[00:40:41]

Right.

[00:40:42]

His agent started leaking, Oh, I'll go to Chicago. I go to these places. I go to that places. Then when they asked for us, that wasn't true. All the while, that was true. Now Seattle is not going to do the deal. Okay, where can we go and extrapolate as much draft capital as we can? Two first rounds, the second round, the third round of players, the Broncos, because the Broncos all of a sudden were starting to get desperate. They hadn't been to the playoff since the last won the Super Bowl, 2015, the beginning of '20. Right. Now they're starting to get desperate. We need a quarterback. We need a quarterback. They give this up for Russ. But in the process of doing this, he said, Russ don't need to be kissing babies. You never told Drew that. Think about what Drew is in the community. Drew is beloved in New Orleans. How did he become that? He had to get out into the community and to ingratiate himself. But you never told Drew Brees that.

[00:41:37]

Kissing the babies.

[00:41:39]

He never told Drew Brees that he needs to stop kissing babies. He never said that. I commend Drew for ingratiating himself in the community. Take your head off, kudos. He's been a staple. He's donated money out of his own pocket. His foundation has been sensational in the city of New Orleans. Now for you to say that why are you worried about what I'm doing? Your job is to coach. As long as it's not taking any way from my study time, as long as it's not taking any way from my game time, it's not like I'm kissing babies during the game. I couldn't get the playoff because I was kissing the baby. You see? Now, all the time, Sean Payton make it seem like they were going to the playoffs every year because there have been some times that Sean Payton was going seven to nine, and he wasn't yelling and kicking and screaming and drew bruises. Right now.

[00:42:28]

I think... I would hate to say it's personal, but I just think it almost seemed personal with the way he was acting. Soon as he got there, soon as Sean Payton got there, obviously through the media, you hear some of the things he was saying, some of the things that Russ is not going to be able to do, as opposed to what he did when he was in Seattle. Right. And he was undermining him, undercutting him, trying to let him know.

[00:42:51]

He's a big dog. I've got to do Sheriford, too. Yeah, he's in Sheriford, too.

[00:42:53]

Yeah, he's in Sheriford, too. That's very unfamiliar territory for head coach to do as quarterback like that. Season ain't even got damn started yet. Well, he's.

[00:43:06]

Trying to come in, Ojo, and trying to say, There's a new sheriff in town. I'm in control. Like Captain Phillips. When they took the boat over and he said, Captain Irish, look at me. I'm the captain. Right. Now Sean Payton says, You know what you had? Look, Russ, look at me. I'm the captain now.

[00:43:27]

You.

[00:43:28]

Know what I hate, Ojo? Ojo. See, it takes a really special type of person to have power and not to abuse it. Now, if you really want to know the measure of a person, give him power.

[00:43:39]

Give.

[00:43:40]

Him power and see how he or she behaves.

[00:43:44]

That ain't money.

[00:43:46]

But see, here's the thing with money. See, money doesn't change you. Money makes you more of what you already are. If you're a jerk, you become an asshole when you get money. See, money doesn't change people like, Oh, money. He changed. No, he wasn't. He been like that, but he didn't have the capital. He didn't have the resources to really show you who he was. People that are cool, they've been cool even before they got money. Money didn't change them. Money makes you more of what you already are. Power corrupts. Absolute power. Absolutely corrupts. You see, I hate when people have to constantly remind you, Okay, you know I could have your job. Bro, I know you over me. I know you the boss. You don't have to constantly remind me that you can have my job because it's going to come a point in time. I must say you can take this job and you know what with it. You don't have to constantly remind me. I know you the head coach. I know you the general manager. I know you do the hiring and firing. I'm sure there are people, I'm talking about NFL terms, but I'm sure there are people out there in the chat that have been in situation where you have a boss constantly reminding you, I'm your boss.

[00:44:57]

I'm over you. You know I can do this. I know I can do that.

[00:45:01]

Yeah, most definitely. People that work in the corporate world, people that work nine to fives, people that work whatever business it is that you in, people that have power, they always abuse it. Sometimes money, like you said, doesn't even have to come into play in just the fact that you have a certain position and you're in a position of power and you abuse it all the time, obviously, belittling, whether it be coworkers, whether it be people below you, because you're in that position. But one thing that always happens is those tables always turn at some point. Those tables always turn at some point all the time. I like the fact about what you just said, money doesn't change people. It just allows them to.

[00:45:41]

Be their true self.

[00:45:42]

Now.

[00:45:44]

You can become your authentic self.

[00:45:46]

Yeah, I like that.

[00:45:48]

You can become a money check. But I know he didn't. He been a jerk.

[00:45:51]

He just.

[00:45:52]

Became an asshole once he got money. He or she became an asshole got money.

[00:45:56]

Yeah, I like that. If I was... If I was cheap before I got money, and then I got money and became cheaper, what does that really make me?

[00:46:06]

You always cheat. You see, money didn't change you. See, people thought once you got money, you're going to start spending. You were always mouslet. You were always frugal. You were always thifty. You see, money didn't change you. You are what you are. Money makes you more about what you already are. Think about it, Ojo. If you got a problem, money exacerbates that problem. You know what? I used to smoke a little weed and then you branch out. You go to the heavier stuff because now you don't have a little 5:10, a little joint, a little 5 and 10 bag, now you can go get some O-Z. Now you can get your pound. You see that? Okay. Remember guys in college, when they drinking that bootleg stuff, that shaper, the Mickeys, they drinking that raw gut, Everclear. Now you get some money, you're going to get the good stuff, don't you, O-CHO. Then you get it in the bunsense. You see?

[00:47:01]

Yeah.

[00:47:02]

It didn't change you. That's what you were. You just didn't have the means to live how you really wanted to live. You see, empower is like a parent to a child. You have all the power. It takes a special type of person not to abuse that child. You see what I'm saying? Yeah. You see? Yeah. I like people like was sharing. I like to give analogies that people can understand. You see, sometimes you see people that abuse their child because they have all the authority.

[00:47:33]

Then.

[00:47:35]

You take you to like, Oh, I can do this. You can, but why would you? That's the thing. To be able... Look, I was the captain. I knew I had certain types of privileges.

[00:47:49]

But.

[00:47:49]

To have those privileges and not to abuse them-.

[00:47:52]

Abuse them.

[00:47:53]

-it takes a special type of person to have certain types of power and not abuse them. We see that in a lot of different areas that people have powers and they'll abuse them because why? I am in a role of authority. I hate this for us. Like I said, I believe had they just went ahead said, okay, hey, we're going to bend you. We wouldn't have known. Hey, you could have been back in October. Oh, when they started one and four, that was the perfect time.

[00:48:30]

Time, yeah.

[00:48:31]

I guess they didn't think he could get hurt when they're one and four. They start to win. They're like, Well, okay, we got a chance. Now you're starting to lose again. Now this is the opportunity. My thing, he said they came to after... Go back, look at the game. When did they beat Kansas City? He said they beat Kansas City. They go into the buy. They came to him, said if he doesn't do something about the clause in his contract, they're going to bench him. What was that? Was that November? It had to be.

[00:48:59]

I think it was October, if I'm not mistaken. October 29th.

[00:49:06]

Yeah. You go all of November. You don't think Russ could get hurt then. You go down there the entire December. Now with two games to go, you say, Hey, Russ might get hurt. So what? Do they got different? What? Were they not playing? Maybe they were AI players over there. It's like computer-generated. They can't follow Russ. They can't hit Russ. Russ couldn't injure himself then, but he can now. You see that's-.

[00:49:33]

It's a bad excuse for one. Management knows what they're doing. You know what you're doing. Why not just be honest? Why not just be honest? Listen, we send yes down because we don't want you to be able to get this money. That's it.

[00:49:43]

Just dry and cut. Save the people, the whole we benching them because of this and you're not playing well. But what? Why even lie? Right. And you got Sean Payton coming out saying anything concerning or due to the-.

[00:49:57]

I don't know.

[00:49:58]

Anything about. I don't know anything about that has to do with contracts. Like, come on, man. What are we doing, man? What are we doing? I saw a tweet. They said, Russell Wilson to the? I said, the stealers. I said, the Steelers. I said, you got Russell Wilson. He is a perennial playoff quarterback. He's won the Super Bowl, going to the Pittsburgh Steelers that has what? A perennial playoff head coach, a coach that has won Super Bowels. Wow, shit, that's a motherfucker, mass made in goddamn heaven. The standard of the stealers, the excellence in which they have always upheld for many of years, Super Bowels. Why not have Russell come and play quarterback? It makes.

[00:50:44]

Sense to me. Well, the Falcons can use a.

[00:50:47]

Quarterback with Drake, London. Don't do that. I love Drake, London. But we talk about the team. We talk about making a run for another Lombardi. Why not put Russell on the team where I think, who's more Super Bowl ready? Offensively and defensively. The Stealers of the Falcons.

[00:51:05]

What's up, everybody? I'm back with year two of my podcast, the season with Peter Schrager. Aaron Rodgers. Awesome. I know this was longer than probably expected, but I always love catching up with you. I like you, so I give you a lot.

[00:51:16]

Of latitude. I'll take it.

[00:51:17]

In each episode of this season, I'm going to take you inside and behind the scenes on the conversations that happen at the highest levels of NFL franchises. We'll bring in top GMs and coaches and give you the story behind the story that you're probably not getting anywhere else. Like Brad Holmes, the GM of the Detroit Lions, telling us about their draft room before they made that controversial, Jameer Gibbspik.

[00:51:37]

In a normal year, you have two first round talent players. You might have about 17 or 18 guys. We ended up with 14 guys, but Jameer was always one of those guys.

[00:51:48]

You see, you'll be in the front office of an NFL team one week, but the next week you're going to be at a bar, elbow to elbow with some of your favorite celebrities laughing about football like Kansas City Chiefs fan Paul Rudd. By the way, can I just point out how much I like the music of this podcast? It's awesome. It's incredible. It's like a funky beat. Listen to the season with Peter Schrager on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.

Every Monday and Friday, I'll be joined by a top NBA writer to discuss the biggest stories in the League. And we'll do it in about 15 minutes so you can stay up to date and keep it moving. Check out NBA Pulse with Sarah Kustak all season on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

[00:53:08]

I'm Claire Crofton, and in my new podcast, The Fighty Pups, we're going out on the ice with the most violent hockey team ever. That was guerrilla warfare at its highest. The Danbury trashers wanted to win at any cost. Big take down. Big take down. All-bedroom, breaking, losing. He's here in thrasher pad.

[00:53:31]

He wanted to break every bone in his body.

[00:53:34]

Literally throwing him like a rag doll. Going bananas here at the Danbury Ice Arena. They can't restrain him right now. So are they heroes or criminals? You decide. I don't know what to say and I don't want to get shot.

[00:53:49]

There's the FBI side, there's my side, and somewhere in the.

[00:53:53]

Middle is.

[00:53:54]

The.

[00:53:54]

Truth. Listen to the fighty pucks on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You and I are going to have a problem. Do you understand what I'm saying to you? Welcome to the jungle. You know it's going to be very interesting, Ocho? What is he looking for? The money? Because here's the thing. He got 39 million guarantee next time. He gets the double dip for the simple fact I'm sure he don't have a clause where it says we're going to offset that. So whatever you get somewhere else, we'll take it away from here. The patriots. Now we know-.

[00:54:35]

No, don't do anything like that, because now you're naming teams where everything is on his shoulders. He got to carry everything.

[00:54:50]

Well, he got to carry everything. Ojo, if you go to Pittsburgh, you got to carry everything because you said they're ready to compete for a Super Bowl. So you said the quarterback is the missing piece.

[00:54:58]

Is it not?

[00:55:01]

But I'm.

[00:55:02]

Saying- Is.

[00:55:02]

It not? Let me ask you a question. What's the difference between he and Aaron Rogers? What was going to be on Aaron Rogers's shoulders in the Jets? Because we said we got a Super Bowl defense. We got Crystal, we got Garrett Wilson, we got players to go make plays. Right. We got Bruce Hall. Is everything not on his shoulders?

[00:55:23]

Yeah, but we talked about Aaron Rogers can shoulder that load. I think Aaron Rogers can shoulder that load. He's one of the few players.

[00:55:31]

He's one of the best all time. His shoulder is going to be in a sling.

[00:55:36]

Yeah, that too. But to me, it just makes much more sense as opposed to the other places. Atlanta, everything is on Russ. Like, he has to do it all. He has to do it all. And then who was the other team you said? You said the Patriots? Yeah. Man, hell, no.

[00:55:52]

Hold on. How about this here? What about Minnesota? Justin Jefferson.

[00:55:57]

Madison.

[00:55:58]

Osborn, Hawkinson. Hawkinson. Even though Hawkinson towards ACL, you'll be...

[00:56:04]

You say Addison already, huh?

[00:56:07]

Yeah, Addison.

[00:56:07]

Yeah, you're an Addison. Now you're talking. Now you're talking. I like that. But listen, I also like God damn, Pickens and Deonte Johnson and Nigel Harris with that defense.

[00:56:20]

That the Stealers have. You like him better than Jefferson? Which one you like better than Jefferson? Who? Deontay Johnson or Pickens? Which one you like better than Jefferson?

[00:56:30]

So hold on, Justin, Jefferson, and Addison versus Pickens and Deonte Johnson?

[00:56:34]

It's Justin Jefferson, it's Addison, it's K. J. Osborn also. They got three. And they.

[00:56:41]

Got Hawkinson. K. J. Osborn, number 17, right? With the Dreads. Boy, that boy is nice boy.

[00:56:46]

They got Hawkins on the tight end who had 90 catches before he got injured.

[00:56:50]

He just got hurt, man.

[00:56:51]

Damn. But he'll be back next year.

[00:56:54]

Yeah. Hey, them boys. Nice. Hey, them boys. Nice. Who would you give the ass to? Let's say if Russ had a choice, you would go to the Stealers, you go to Minnesota?

[00:57:04]

Minnesota. Because guess what?

[00:57:06]

Wait, but Kirk Kus is coming back next year.

[00:57:08]

Kirk Kus is calling the contract, so he ain't coming back next year. He ain't come back. But anyway, check this out, Ocho. Check this out, Ocho. Plus, I get nine games in a dome. Detroit's a dome, and I'm a dome. In Pittsburgh, you outside. In Pittsburgh is weather, Baltimore is weather, Cincinnati is weather, Cleveland's weather.

[00:57:28]

Well, it don't get that bad just the last month. They said, That's football. Well, it.

[00:57:33]

Ain't that bad. My home game, it don't never get bad in the Dome. You ever seen it's in the Dome? Rain in the Dome? Wind in the Dome?

[00:57:40]

Wait a minute. Okay, in that division, you got the Vikings?

[00:57:46]

Got the Vikings, Chicago, lions, and the Packers.

[00:57:52]

I don't know.

[00:57:53]

You want to deal with Lamar? You want to deal with Lamar? You want to deal with Borough? You want to be-.

[00:58:00]

Listen to me, as a competitor, as a competitor that I am, I would like to be in the AFC North, the toughest division in football.

[00:58:07]

That's just me. Let me ask you a question. What trophy you get to put on your man and say we won the toughest championship ever?

[00:58:14]

None. I just want to play against the best.

[00:58:16]

That's all. They got good players in the AFC North.

[00:58:21]

Yeah, they do. They do. I'm just saying, just for me, listen, I'm hypothetically speaking, I'm not playing, I'm not a quarterback. I'm just saying I would like to be in the AFC North. I know times have changed. Times are different now. You can't even play football. They playing two-hand touch today anyway. But Minnesota would be a good luck, though. To me, I like what you're saying, but I would prefer and like to see Russ with the Steelers. And this is coming from a bagel, unfortunately.

[00:58:47]

Player bonuses. We see players getting their bonuses. We saw Josh Allen, Joe Flack, or D-Hop. Some of the other guys we just picked a few. D-hop with 61 catches for 939 yards. Hopkins has made 500,000 for yardage. If he reaches 950, that escalates to 750. If he gets 65 catches, he'll make another quarter of a mil. Joe Mixer with nine total touchdowns, eight Russian won receivers. He needs one more to make a quarter of a million. I don't have a problem with Joe Flacko. Joe Flacko is getting off his couch. He can't make $17, $18, $19 million. So you put in incentives. Okay, you win a game, we get you $75,000. You take it to the playoffs, we'll get another best. The Hob had to take a pay cut one year, so let me get some incentives in there.

[00:59:38]

Joe.

[00:59:38]

Mixing. Remember, Joe Mixing took a big pay cut to stay in Cincinnati. Okay, Joe, we'll get an opportunity to make some of that money back. Now, Josh Allen, I got a problem with that. What do you mean you get a million dollars, you get to the Super Bowl, you win the soup bowl? Bro, you're making a quarter of a billion. You should do that.

[00:59:55]

Right.

[00:59:57]

If Joe Black will have that in his contract.

[00:59:59]

Ifit is a nice incentive, though. It's a nice incentive.

[01:00:02]

You're making a quarter of a billion. What shouldn't you do? You should do all of that.

[01:00:08]

Right. I mean, you got to put it in there. You got to put.

[01:00:12]

In there. Let me ask you a question then. If I got to put these incentives in there, what am I paying you a quarter of a billion for then?

[01:00:19]

You know what? I think whether they're paying that million dollar incentive anyway, his end goal as a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills is to get them.

[01:00:28]

That Lombardi. That's why I gave you a quarter of a billion because I believe you can do that. You think I would have gave you a quarter of a billion if I didn't think you could do that? Right. You think they will give a quarter of a billion to Trevor Simeon? Why? Because they don't believe you can do that. You think they'll give a quarter of a billion to Zach Wilson. Why? Yeah. I don't know.

[01:00:45]

Don't talk about Zach.

[01:00:47]

Like that.

[01:00:48]

I understand. I said, oh, baby, thank you.

[01:00:51]

When I was early in my career, I was seventh round draft pick. I had incentives put in my... What are you saying? I'm right. But once I became what I was, no, I don't need no incentives. I'm supposed to lead the team in receiving. I'm supposed to lead the team in catches. I'm supposed to lead the team in receiving yards. We're supposed to make the playoffs. I believe I'm bad.

[01:01:17]

Right.

[01:01:18]

No, I don't want no 50,000 or 100,000 will make it a pro bowl. I'm the best tighter to football. I'm supposed to make the pro bowl. I'm supposed to be first team all pro.

[01:01:27]

Hold on. You're saying you don't want incentives? No. Oh, no, you're tripping. Hell, you're tripping. I want my incentives. Give me my money. I want my incentive. Give me my money. I want my incentive. You want all your.

[01:01:41]

Money upfront. I want my money. Give me my money. Becauseall because all those things are because you're going to take it from somewhere else. You're going to take it. See, you make me think you give me a sentence, but you took it out of my base salary anyway because I got an extra $300, $400, $400. You say, Well, this is what will get you. Then you make me think you go, I'm going to get this, but I'm... No, you think you all slip?

[01:02:02]

Yeah. Okay, I see where you're going. Because they are pulling it from somewhere else, trying to pretend like it's extra money.

[01:02:09]

Extra. It's my money to begin with.

[01:02:11]

Yeah, okay. I got you. You're right. I don't know why I let that slip my mind. Not really remembering that if they are giving you incentives, the incentives are coming from somewhere else coming from what they were already going to pay you any goddamn way.

[01:02:26]

It's like, Ojo, you drop $100, I find it, I give you $50 back. Oh, man, I appreciate that, man. Appreciate that. Oh, man, good looking out. It was already mine. It was already your money. I only gave you half of what you were supposed to get anyway.

[01:02:41]

Yeah, you're right.

[01:02:43]

Georgia dominates Florida State in the Orange Bowl 60 point route. Last year, remember, in the College Football Championship game, they beat TCU 65-7. Follow that up with a 63-3 route of Florida State. It's also the largest margin of victory of the AP top five opponent by the AP in the pole error. And the pole era goes back to 1936.

[01:03:07]

Yeah, everybody was complaining. Everybody from Florida State was complaining when they didn't make the playoffs. And obviously, we're with me not watching as much college football as I should, I really didn't understand it. But I did know that the quarterback was out, the starting.

[01:03:23]

Quarterback was hurt. Yeah, a lot of guys set out. The best defense of line and the best wide receiver come to the running back.

[01:03:29]

So if all those players that set out played the.

[01:03:35]

Day, would it.

[01:03:35]

Have made a difference?

[01:03:36]

I still don't believe it'd be Georgia. I don't believe it'd be Georgia. It's probably not 63-3-3- But I don't-.

[01:03:41]

It would have been a closer game then.

[01:03:43]

They probably lose by 21, not 60.

[01:03:46]

You think so? Yeah. But they didn't have that quarterback. The starting.

[01:03:51]

Quarterbacks hurt. Exactly. They lose by 21, 28. I mean, we'll never know. The committee is the happiest because the committee says, see, but they said, well, who knows? Maybe Michigan is not as talented as Georgia. Maybe all of our players play in the college football player. We'll never know. But the college football committee gets to say, see, told you all they were unworthy. It is what it is, O'chell.

[01:04:20]

That's crazy.

[01:04:21]

Did you see this- I.

[01:04:23]

Have one more question before we leave. A lot of these players opting out and not willing to play in the ball game. Do you have a problem with players doing that that are not day ones?

[01:04:36]

Especially if I got a first grade- I'm.

[01:04:38]

Talking about day ones.

[01:04:39]

If I got a first grade on me, O'Chah-.

[01:04:41]

I understand.

[01:04:42]

If you look at Bryce Young. Bryce Young played last year against Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl, and he was a projected number one. I mean, normally, Alabama players, Georgia players. I don't think Brock Bowers, I don't think he played today. Did Brock Bowers play today? I don't think he played today. But for the most part, Alabama and Georgia players normally play. I think this is the first time that I didn't see Brock Bowers because if you look at all those number one pigs that they had on the defense over the last two years, those guys all played. Alabama players normally play, but you're going to get a lot of this. So now when you go to 12 teams, now that's more games. At least when you only got four teams, you get one chance or two chances. You're going to probably have to play three games.

[01:05:34]

That's a good thing. That's a good thing. So they get the teams right. They get it right this time instead of people complaining about we should have made it. It should have been us. And you get a shillac. And like you did today, there's really no argument. And the only argument that those that are Florida State fans can say is, well, look how many people we had out.

[01:05:53]

Right. I agree, Ocho. But you know the thing is? We'll never know. We'll never know. Out. You see the ref, Roy and Go-Jane's birthday, that step back three, and they talk about he had a toe on the line.

[01:06:07]

I saw an image and his toe wasn't on the line. Exactly. Obviously, if they went back to replay, how could they... Can they reverse that or no?

[01:06:18]

No, it's over now. It's in.

[01:06:20]

The book. Okay. I'm just saying at that time, though, I didn't watch the game. I'm just.

[01:06:25]

Saying at that time.

[01:06:26]

Can you replay it and reverse the call?

[01:06:29]

Yes, they could have said because if you look at it, Ojo, the moment he let the shot go, the official put two fingers down saying it's a two-pointer because they're thinking he's on the line. They go to the replay. Now, had the replay showed, it was... The question in the pool report says, Why was James shot with 2.3 seconds play ruled a two-point instead of a three? The play was ruled a two-pointer on the goal on the floor, lied. After the video review, there wasn't clear, conclusive evidence to overturn it from a two to a three. That's why it's still to the two point. But it was. His foot was behind the line, Tony. His foot was behind the line. That's why you have replay. What do you mean it wasn't conclusive?

[01:07:15]

You see how confusing basketball is?

[01:07:17]

You see.

[01:07:18]

What I mean? Obviously, the foot was behind the line. I saw the replay. I don't even watch the game that much, but I can clearly see it was a three-pointer.

[01:07:28]

Yeah. From when he shot it, I was like, Man, that's going to be close. The ref cheating.

[01:07:35]

I.

[01:07:36]

Said it's going to be close. But when they showed it down and they blew up the angle, his foot was behind the line.

[01:07:44]

Yeah. They cheating. They ain't number Vegas.

[01:07:50]

It's close. I can see why. I believe had they called it a three on the floor, I believe they said it was a three. I said, like you said, is not enough of conclusive. It's not definitive. You know what? We're going to go with the call that we called on the floor. I thought we're going to go to overtime because last year on his birthday, he had a monster game against Atlanta. But hey, still happy 30 nights birthday, LeBron. Go, James, as I referred to you, as having an unbelievable season. Again.

[01:08:27]

I told you about a story where I played in one on one when it was with.

[01:08:33]

The Heat. And you beat him?

[01:08:35]

Yeah. He told you?

[01:08:37]

No. I'm waiting for you to put in your documentary.

[01:08:43]

I'm not going to do all that because I really ain't supposed to. I wasn't supposed to tell nobody. But I mean, obviously with you since we had this, this is about sharing stories. I just thought I was sharing.

[01:08:52]

Stories about what I'm beating. I can tell you, when you were in high school, that's why you had no women because you're going to kiss and tail. I can tell you. You ain't no woman.

[01:09:00]

I ain't had no women in high school because I was focused on playing.

[01:09:03]

Football in my.

[01:09:04]

Grade, in.

[01:09:04]

My books. You go kiss and tale?

[01:09:06]

No. Are you going to be mad because I beat LeBron one on one? No, I'm not.

[01:09:10]

Going to be mad. You told me you weren't supposed to tell nobody. That's what you girl.

[01:09:13]

Told you. The girl said... The girl said I couldn't do this for you. I said I wasn't supposed to show the footage. I didn't show the footage, so I'm just telling you what happened. But you told me.

[01:09:20]

That's what I'm saying. You're told. See, the girl said, I'm going to do this this time because I don't normally do this. Don't tell nobody. Okay, and what you do? Soon as you do that, you go tell the homies.

[01:09:29]

I don't go tell nobody. I ain't had no homie back then. Who you told me. All my homie was... Well, you ain't my homie. We partners.

[01:09:36]

But you were supposed to... Look here, something is.

[01:09:39]

Between you and the fence. Nobody said I wasn't supposed to tell you. I mean, it's okay. I know you like LeBron. I beat him. That's it. I beat him. He's the greatest.

[01:09:47]

But you say you weren't supposed to tell nobody.

[01:09:50]

I said that?

[01:09:51]

Yeah.

[01:09:52]

But it's his birthday. Why would I let people know I beat him one on one? Why wouldn't I tell you that? That's a great story. The chat would love to hear that.

[01:10:01]

You know what?

[01:10:02]

I could tell you what happened. I could tell you how I scored every time.

[01:10:04]

My grandfather was right. You know what he's saying, Ocho?

[01:10:08]

What? Two people.

[01:10:08]

Can keep a secret, but one of them needs to be dead.

[01:10:11]

Who said that?

[01:10:15]

Hold.

[01:10:17]

On. I like that. Two people.

[01:10:19]

Can keep a secret, but one of them needs to be dead.

[01:10:23]

Two people can keep a secret. One of them needs to be dead. I like that.

[01:10:27]

Fan questions. Alexander said, Shannon, yourself on Twitter said that receiver didn't line up over the ball. I said that, but I'm not an official. He didn't throw the flag on the receiver. It doesn't matter what I say. I say a lot of things, and I'm right a lot of times. But the official didn't throw the flag. He said it was an illegal touching. They could have said, We have two files on the offense. We have an illegal formation. The Y receiver didn't cover up the lineman, and we have an illegal touching by the lineman. That's what could have happened, but they didn't do that. We've seen it. We've seen them throw two flags, three flags on the defense. We have an off-size on the defense. That penalty is declined. We have a holding by the defense. That penalty is also declined. We have a personal file rough in the quarterback on the defense. That is accepted, 15 yards, first down. That's all the officials had to do. We have two files on the defense. One, we have an illegal formation. Two, we have illegal touching also on the offense. We only threw one play. Hopefully, I cleared that up for you, Alexander.

[01:11:54]

H-e-d said, I can't let you all love to show I'm a diehard Cowboys fan. I'll take the W. But do you all think these risks should be held accountable for the horrible cause like the players are for years? Yes.

[01:12:07]

It's ridiculous at this point. But again, everything is enforced by the committee. Then you got to think, when one coach complains about one thing or competition committee installs certain rules or certain things that you have to watch and abide by, and then one coach complains about holding or they send videos in, then it ramps everything up. Then the refs get overly, overly jealous with all the goddamn calls. The game is to the point where in a minute they're going to be playing two-hand touch. I promise you in a minute they're going to be playing two-hand touch because you can't hit nobody. You can't hit the receivers. You can't hit the quarterback. The running backs are getting fine for actually running the football. You're supposed to run the football, and it's a contact sport.

[01:12:59]

Oh, you can't lower your head. I'm just.

[01:13:02]

Supposed to end up- How you're supposed to run up, right? That makes no sense.

[01:13:06]

I'm supposed to run behind your path. You all will lower my head.

[01:13:10]

Man, dude, listen, I love the game of football. I love that the fact that they're trying to protect the players, but we're doing too much to where we're losing the true definition what the game of football is, especially at the highest level.

[01:13:25]

Well, I just think the thing is the NFL is just so cheap. These guys have regular jobs. They're not full-time officials. Wait, for real? No, they have regular jobs. They're bankers, they're lawyers, they're doctors, they have different... They have financial.

[01:13:40]

They like to apply the.

[01:13:42]

Playing to the back in the days. They're side job. They move light. They're not like MLB. They're not like basketball, but they do that full-time. This is not their full-time job. Now, they do, supposedly, when you have so many blown calls, obviously, they're going to move you down or you won't get to playoff games, you don't get the Super Bowl, things of that nature. But hey, we need to know who you all docked. You all let the players know who got fined. You can't do that. We might not even see the hit, but you all still find them and they find out. I want to know who had a bad call, who got a bad grade.

[01:14:21]

We know who the bad grades are, but I don't think they would expose the referees like that. They have to deal with the fans, the fans heckling. What's the famous NBA ref? I know about him, the famous NBA ref who always go at it with Chris Paul. They always going at it.

[01:14:40]

Scott Paulson.

[01:14:41]

Hey, them two need a documentary together. My brother, man, they.

[01:14:46]

Always going at it. They funny. They are.

[01:14:52]

Remember back in the days when all the NFL players used to have regular jobs?

[01:15:01]

Yeah, I do. They weren't making the money. They got jobs in the offseason.

[01:15:06]

Yeah, that's crazy.

[01:15:09]

So basically, he said, Allen is saying, the lions are lying. What? Yeah. He said 70 because 70 reported as eligible and he was covered up on the line of Scrimmy. That makes it an illegal formation. So number 70 is in an illegal position because he covered up. He's covered up by rule and 68 catches the passes, which is also illegal.

[01:15:37]

Something ain't right.

[01:15:37]

Something ain't right.

[01:15:40]

We'll never know.

[01:15:42]

Because- They need to go back to the rule. Somebody need to go back to the rule book.

[01:15:46]

Well, he's saying 70 reported is eligible. 70 said he didn't say a F word. That's a classic plausible deniability. He said he said. You know the NFL is going to side with the official.

[01:16:00]

Because that.

[01:16:01]

Makes them look terrible if-.

[01:16:04]

Every time. Right.

[01:16:06]

I am under sport tough said, first off, happy New Year's to Ankinocho. This is TJ from Cincinnati. Do you all think- TJ?

[01:16:13]

That's who's from Zada?

[01:16:15]

No.

[01:16:15]

Tj.

[01:16:16]

He says, Do you all think sports betting changed the game forever? The Lions won that game? No. They've always bet on sports. They've always bet on sport.

[01:16:24]

It was bet before it was legal.

[01:16:27]

What the NFL find a way is to benefit. Let's get in bed with Van Doegh. Let's get in bed with draft Kings. Let's get in bed with ESP in bed. It's just like alcohol. Once the government find out, states find out the way, Hold on, you mean to tell me we can tax it? Okay. You don't need to bootleg it. What do they do with marijuana? Once they find out they can.

[01:16:52]

Tax it, we.

[01:16:53]

Don't need to outlaw marijuana.

[01:16:55]

At the end of the day, especially the NFL, obviously you know what the bottom line? The bottom line is always about making the dollars. The bottom line is always about making money. So when they figured out a way where they can monetize, especially gambling, gambling, okay, we can get a piece. It's all about money at the end of the day. Wait until they allow a player to smoke weed, when they figured out a way to monetize that, they just having free- They did that.

[01:17:18]

They let the player smoke weed. Now the nanogram, they lowered the nanogram. You see what the players did? They thought the NFL, the owners really cared about them smoking weed. They didn't give a damn. Let me tell you what they didn't give up, guaranteed contracts. What they did also didn't give up, lifetime health benefits. You see, you waste your time bargaining for petty privileges. Now, Roger Goodell said when he signed his contract, he wanted lifetime health benefits. You need to tell me the commissioner ain't never took a hit, ain't never had a concussion. He won't lifetime benefit. But you want to be able to smoke weed in your lifetime. You see how they did that?

[01:17:54]

Wait, they passed that they could smoke weed?

[01:17:57]

No, they lowered the nanograms. Because you know it used to be you had a threshold. They lowered that. You guys were smoking a little weed. We don't care. But I tell you what we're not going to give you, keep your eye on the ball, Ocho. Keep your eye on your luggage in case something transpires. You bargaining for petty privileges. You don't want to practice. I don't want to practice twice a day. I want to have meetings. Okay, see, they don't want to practice. They ain't mentioned nothing about no lifetime benefits. Keep it going.

[01:18:28]

They.

[01:18:28]

Want to smoke a little weed. Oh, yeah, we'll let you all smoke some weed. They ain't mentioned about no guaranteed money. They ain't mentioned about no franchise tag. You see what I did on the show?

[01:18:39]

Yeah, I see what you're talking about.

[01:18:40]

You didn't even of the players. Weed? You mean to tell me you would rather not have a guaranteed contract than to smoke weed. You mean to tell me you would rather not have lifetime benefits as opposed to practice twice a day. Really?

[01:18:56]

That's a crazy fight, though. That's a crazy fight. When you think about guaranteed contracts would be a crazy fight. That's one where we just talked about where everybody got to be on the same page and willing to sit the fuck out.

[01:19:08]

If necessary. They were on the same page for that weed. They got on the same page for smoking weed, didn't they? They got on the same page about practice.

[01:19:16]

I think everybody was on the same page about smoking weed because I think so many people do it. You ever smoked weed? I don't mean to be in your personal business. You ever.

[01:19:23]

Smoked weed before? No, I don't need no weed. But I tell you what, even if I smoke the if I smoke the two ounces a day, you need to tell me you're going to give me all my whole contract. So I found a $50 million contract, and I'm going to get all 50 million of that. I just couldn't smoke weed between this time.

[01:19:43]

What.

[01:19:44]

Type of food you think I am?

[01:19:46]

That's easy, though.

[01:19:47]

Thank you.

[01:19:48]

That's easy. You know what? I really can't answer that because it's easy for me to say, Oh, it's easy not to do something when I've never done it. That's like I said, Well, it's hard for me not to drink alcohol. Well, shit. You paying me 50 million not to drink. Why I already don't drink?

[01:20:02]

So it's easy.

[01:20:03]

Guess what? But what about the people that have a problem that can't stop from smoking weed?

[01:20:08]

Okay, guys like to go out. Why they don't go out night before the game?

[01:20:13]

Well, you can. You get in trouble.

[01:20:14]

You can. You absolutely. Oh, you can get in trouble. You get in trouble for smoking weed. You see, guys do what they want to do.

[01:20:23]

What's important to you? You see, to get to the NFL, a lot of guys had to deny themselves, deny their friends, deny things that they really like to do because what was most important.

[01:20:33]

Right. Get into the league.

[01:20:37]

You see, it's not that complicated, though, Joe. I get it. Oh, you should be able to smoke weed. Okay, smoke weed. But you can do all the stuff that you want to do once I get all the people money. If I'm in the NBA, I'm in the major leagues, I'm in the NFL, whatever they say I can't do, I'm going to wait until I get all your money. I'm going to get 300, 400, 500 million. Just think about that. Show, Hey, Hotana. He got a $700 million contract. And the only thing he got to do, he can't smoke no weed for like two months. You all see how dumb that sound people in the chat? But you all quick to holla. Let that man do what he want to do. Let him live his life.

[01:21:14]

Right. I don't know. I really can't even talk, really speak on that subject when it comes to weed or alcohol or any of the paraphernalia or the fun things that people like to add in their life, because I don't... I'm lame in that sense. But it's something about even when I played, it's something about weed where everybody was doing it. It seemed everybody, I don't know if they had to do it, I don't know if they were addicted to it or were just part of maybe a stress reliever. They just got a sense of peace from it.

[01:21:47]

Yeah, but I mean, to each his own.

[01:21:50]

Yeah, same thing I say.

[01:21:52]

For me, I would rather have all of us have lifetime health benefits.

[01:21:58]

Right. Yeah, most definitely.

[01:21:59]

Because everybody ain't going to make 100 million. Everybody ain't going to make 200 million. The average lift, most players aren't going to get vested.

[01:22:07]

Yeah.

[01:22:09]

The ones that get vested, they're not making those 70, $80 million. But they don't took that pounding. They're going to have the ramifications and the repercussions for playing six years, seven years in the NFL without the benefits of a guy. For me, Ocho, yeah, I played 14 years, but the best thing about it, I did good with my money. Everybody's not going to be financially responsible, just like any occupation. Somebody might work at a job for 20 years and be less responsible as somebody. Everybody's not going to have the same responsibility. Okay, we get that. But I was in a situation. I mean, hips are about 104,000 each. Damn. Yeah.

[01:22:57]

What, 104,000 for hip?

[01:22:58]

For hip.

[01:22:59]

Hey, boy, somebody wanted to rob you, all they got to do is come take you hip. What?

[01:23:04]

They in.

[01:23:05]

The way too. Hey, let me get that hip up off you, baby.

[01:23:12]

You see that scar?

[01:23:15]

Come on. But you got to put a tattoo over that man.

[01:23:20]

Both sides. Look at that, man. You got to.

[01:23:25]

Get a tattoo over that man.

[01:23:26]

You got to put a tattoo over that, man. What? By the time they see that, Ojo, it's too late. It's too late. It's too late, Ojo. It's too late. It's too late. It's going down. It's going down, down. You know what I'm saying, Ojo? Uh-uh, you've got too late. If you can see this car, it's too late. There it is. Damn, Joe, it's too late.

[01:23:55]

Hey. You shut out, man. Youget shot at. God damn, man. $104,000 for hip replacement?

[01:24:03]

Yeah.

[01:24:05]

Boy, you got that. Boy, you got that money, man. Shit.

[01:24:08]

What price would you play? How much would you be willing to pay for quality of life?

[01:24:18]

You know what? I'm the wrong person to ask that because you look, I got a pretty penny, but I don't live the quality of life that I should. I live way below my means.

[01:24:32]

No, Uto, what I'm saying is you're missing the point. You think I'm saying in exuberance. But if you had to pay to not be in pain, what would you pay?

[01:24:41]

Oh, yeah. I'd be talking. Now we're talking. Now, when you put it that.

[01:24:46]

Way- Yes. That's what I'm talking about. No, I'm not talking about living extravagant. I'm talking about you're not in pain. When you walk, you're not in pain. When you sleep, you're not in pain. When you sleep, you're not in pain. When you're staying, you're not in pain. Right.

[01:25:00]

Let me explain something else to you just small. Stay with me real quick, man. You know my terminology and my fight and my mantra, while I talk about U-T-O-V-S-I-N-E- S-I-N-E, right? Yeah. You know what I believe in as far as my nutrition and the feeling that you can eat whatever you want as long as you train. And my whole feeling that is eating a certain way. You have to build the callous within the body to calcify the bones as you're growing up, blah, blah, blah. So I'm thinking of the fact that I've never been injured before. I've never been injured before. I think if you had eaten my way when you were playing, I think you would be fine.

[01:25:40]

It's hereditary. My sister about to get both of her hips replaced. She ain't never played football.

[01:25:44]

Wait a minute. Stay with me. What? The food, the intake, what you consume.

[01:25:48]

My sister is Didelpe. She hog, ball, pig, tail, chitlin, raccoon, still to this day. Turtle, gold.

[01:25:56]

So hereditary-.

[01:25:58]

My brother got his replaced. My brother was his late 30s when he got his replaced.

[01:26:01]

Sterling too? Yeah. Damn. Okay. All right. I lost this one.

[01:26:09]

Yeah, you did. My dad died at 39 of cancer. He had two brothers, didn't make it to 50.

[01:26:18]

Damn.

[01:26:19]

I had an aunt die of 47. I only had one uncle make it to the age of 70. My grandfather died at 57. Had an uncle die of 57. That one died at 60, one died at 64 on both sides. It don't matter. It's the one appointment that you cannot cancel or reschedule. Because when he writes your name down, you got to take that appointment.

[01:26:44]

You got to go.

[01:26:46]

I like that. That's the one appointment. I like that. It does not matter. I read a story that said the king, he said he wanted to summon all the greatest doctors in the city. They're asking me say, Why do you want to summon the greatest doctors to carry your casket? He said, Because I want the world to see even the best medicine cannot save you when it's your time.

[01:27:12]

He.

[01:27:13]

Said, You know what? All this money, I'm the richest man in the city. He's a spreader around. I said, Spread it around. I said, Well, why do you want him to spread all your money? He said, Because you cannot take any of it with you.

[01:27:23]

Yeah.

[01:27:24]

I like that. When you write your name down in that book.

[01:27:28]

You.

[01:27:28]

Come.

[01:27:29]

In- I'm going to time to go.

[01:27:30]

You can't reschedule.

[01:27:33]

At all. You know what? I like that. And people always talk about, Oh, this can kill you. That can kill you. I always tell people, when you're born.

[01:27:43]

You got to leave here.

[01:27:45]

-you got to expiration date. The expiration date is already set.

[01:27:48]

It's.

[01:27:49]

Already set. There's really nothing you can do where you can change when it's time to go. And if you think you can, you're a fool. That's just how I feel. Other people might feel a different way, is they can control when it's time to go. If I eat this, maybe I'll live longer. I mean, sure. Shit. If that's not what it is planned, guess what? When that not come and it's time to go, when you're gone.

[01:28:19]

You write your.

[01:28:20]

Name down in the book. I don't care whether you eat salad, kale, rice cakes. Maybe it's time to go. Mr.

[01:28:28]

Jackson, 2002 said, I'm a cowboys with Mike McCarthy game management. Yes, because his game management always you got that throw in the ball, stopping the clock. Come on, Ocho. Make them burn them time out.

[01:28:40]

Right. Learn to pay better situationalfootball, and this was the perfect time to practice it. Perfect time to practice it.

[01:28:49]

It's going to bite him. It's going to bite him. I think so. He think he's a little, Oh, I'm aggressive. I got the utmost confidence. We'll be having this conversation.

[01:28:57]

Yeah.

[01:28:58]

True Infamous 73 ask, which one deserves an extension? Nah, Mike or CD. Neither one of them deserve it. They earned it. And you have to pay the piper.

[01:29:07]

You have to pay.

[01:29:09]

They.

[01:29:09]

Definitely earned it. I'm going to tell you, Mike can't give you no hometown discount. Cd might.

[01:29:15]

Oh, no. Cd might give who a discount?

[01:29:19]

He might. He might. You know he want to be there. I'm telling you, Mike ain't giving no discount.

[01:29:26]

Not.

[01:29:26]

At all. Because here's the thing. You see, Ocho, just think about it, and Russ is a prime example. Think about all those hometown discounts Tom braided gave to New England Patriots. When he came down to it and he wanted some more money, they said no. Tom got his first contract. They redid Tom's contract after he won that Super Bowl. They redid it. I think they redid it again in '05. In all the years that he gave them discount after discount after discount after discount after discount.

[01:29:58]

You know what? In Tom's situation was a little different, though, because Tom was so fortunate for one to have, obviously to be married, to be married to a woman making three times more than him. He was also blessed to be making a shit ton of money off the field. So being able to give the Patriots a hometown discount.

[01:30:21]

I'm asking why the Patriots are pocketwatching. Let me ask you a question.

[01:30:25]

We say what they what?

[01:30:26]

Pocketwatching. But here's the thing. Now, one time. Let me ask you a question. How many times you think the League gave these networks a discount?

[01:30:36]

They can't. They don't play that.

[01:30:37]

If you notice, the NFL, they're the only company. They don't write checks, they only deposit.

[01:30:47]

Oh, yeah, you're right about that.

[01:30:51]

They deposit checks.

[01:30:52]

The only.

[01:30:54]

All they do is deposit.

[01:30:56]

You're right.

[01:30:57]

Now, not one time they say, You know what? Cbs, you all were the first network with us to broadcast us. You know what? We're going to give you a discount. Esp, you all talk football. No other than other networks, they don't really talk football year round like you do. Esp, we're going to give you all a discount. The NBA said, you know what? You all got back in. We really appreciate that. We're going to give you all a discount. You know what, Amazon? You all deliver package and you all make sure you all give us Amazon Prime and you all make sure we get our packages on time. We're going to give you all a discount. The NFL don't give nobody a discount on nothing. Not sponsors, not advertisers.

[01:31:36]

But from a football standpoint, the discount that Tom was giving is the reason they were able to win so many Super Bowels because they were able to build the pieces around them to be able to do what they did.

[01:31:48]

So when that man said, you know what? I don't want to take another discount. I think it's time for you all to break bread. You would have thanked out for all the years, all the money that they saved over the years.

[01:31:56]

It would have been a no-brainer. But obviously, the headman over there had a problem with it because he was ready to move on.

[01:32:04]

Right.

[01:32:04]

The owner was fine, but the headman in charge had a problem with it and was ready to move on.

[01:32:10]

He was. He was. Michael is going to break the bank. He's going to want Tyreke's money. Tyreke does 30, 31 mil. He got 72 guaranteed.

[01:32:25]

He's going to reset the market?

[01:32:28]

Yeah, for sure.

[01:32:28]

For the position?

[01:32:29]

He should.

[01:32:31]

Then Justin Jefferson probably coming right behind him to reset it again. Yes.

[01:32:36]

Wait.

[01:32:37]

A minute. Then we still have Chase. Chase going to have to come along and have to fall somewhere in the same case.

[01:32:45]

He's saying, I ain't falling nowhere. He said, I'm falling up. Yeah. I'm falling up. You got Mike Evans. Mike Evans says, Hey, my contract completely up. I want to break brand. Somebody break brand with me.

[01:32:57]

They going to give it to him too. I'm not sure where he's going to go. I'm trying to think of a good place for Mike Evans to go. That's a good question. You would want Tampa Bay to do it, but Tampa Bay, if they were going to do it, they would have done it already. They would have done it already. You wouldn't even let him get to this point this far. In the con, you would have wanted, especially what he's been able to accomplish, his body of work has been phenomenal throughout his entire career. But it's crazy how to do you when you hit 30, 31.

[01:33:27]

Oh, yeah, for sure.

[01:33:28]

Well, it's crazy how you did. The business is just a dirty game.

[01:33:30]

But here's the thing, hold on. Look, I ain't got no problem. If you say with Shannon, we need you to take a pay cut, okay, fine. But can I cut my production too?

[01:33:39]

They.

[01:33:41]

Want you to make them same plates and people at home. This is what I want you to do. Your boss said, you know what? We're going to cut your pay. But we still want you to work 40 hours and plus another 10 overtime, but we're going to cut your pay. I'm going to give it to you something that you could explain, because every time I say something, you always want to say, Well, that's still a lot of money. So I'm going to put it in your realm. I don't know how much you make. Your boss comes to you and says, We're going to cut your pay, but we want you to still give us those 40 hours plus the 10 hours a week. How are you feeling about that? I ain't putting in millions. I ain't talking about an NFL player. I'm not talking about an NBA player. I'm talking about the person that works at 9:00-5:00. Your boss comes to you, he tells you he wants to cut your pay 10, 30, up to 50%.

[01:34:35]

And your hours.

[01:34:36]

No, you got to work the same hours because see, when they cut your pay, they still want you to give them that same production.

[01:34:44]

Oh, no. I don't like the way that sound.

[01:34:49]

Let me ask you a question, Ocho. When they cut these guys pay, you think that they want them to produce less or they want them to produce the same they did as when they were.

[01:34:57]

Making their money? They want the same production. You know that?

[01:35:00]

I'm going to cut.

[01:35:02]

The average person. The fans don't understand until you put it in their terminology where they can understand it a little better.

[01:35:07]

I'm putting it in their terminology. Your boss comes to you and he's going to cut your pay by up to 60%, but he wants you to work the same hours for 60% less pay. How are you feeling about that?

[01:35:20]

You're better than me. But at times when you get to a certain point in your career where that price tag on you is very high and they want to bring it on down and you're not at the end of the road. You can still keep going. That's why you just move on.

[01:35:40]

That's why I'm going to get my money. Because I know that day is going to come. Because here's the thing, Ojo, there's a reason why certain companies don't give you discounts. Because once you give a discount, what's the expectation? A discount. Was the first thing? We the discount king. Hey, get you what a hookup. Yeah. Once you start with that, Ocho, where do you go? See, if I give you a discount on a five-star hotel, guess what? Every time you come, you're going to want a discount. You're never going to want to pay the full price. Or what I have to do is that I have to mark it up for more than what I want and say, Okay, I'll give you the discount, but this is the price I want to get you the room for all the time anyway. That's what they do with Black Friday. They marked the prices way up as a slash 20%, 30%.

[01:36:35]

And it'd be the regular price anyway. Boy, this is a dirty.

[01:36:42]

Game, man. It is.

[01:36:43]

It's a.

[01:36:43]

Dirty game. I don't know, Joe what is the problem with Dallas? Why are they so inconsistent? Is it coaching or on field personnel? Look, Mike McCarthys is going to have to prove himself because he did win a lot of games. But he had two guys that's only... I mean, he got two guys that won seven MVP this many. Aaron Rodd. Now, although he did not coach Brett Farbe during those MVP seasons, Brett Farbe has those MVP on his resume. He's the last guy to win three consecutive MVP. Aaron Rodd has four under Mike McCarthy. He's going to have to prove that it's his coaching and not those guys. But you would like to think you'd have more than one MVP with guys that won seven MVP. You would think, Ocho. I'm just saying maybe it's me.

[01:37:40]

Yeah. You never know.

[01:37:44]

Especially at that position.

[01:37:46]

Yeah. I think this might be the year, though. This might be the year for the Cowboys. As long as the consistent player, quarterback, the receiver play, and the situational awareness from the coaching. Situational awareness from the coaching, I think they'll be fine.

[01:38:11]

What's up, everybody? I'm back with year two of my podcast. The season with Peter Schreger. Aaron Rodger is awesome. I know this was longer than probably expected, but I always love catching up with you. I like you, so I give you a lot.

[01:38:22]

Of.

[01:38:23]

Latitude. I'll take it.

[01:38:43]

In a normal year, you have two first round talent players. You might have about 17 or 18 guys. We ended up with 14 guys. But Jameer was always one of those guys.

[01:38:54]

You see, you'll be in the front office of an NFL team one week, but the next week you're going to be at a bar elbow to elbow with some of your favorite celebrities, laughing about football like Kansas City Chiefs fan Paul Rudd. By the way, can I just point out how much I like the music of this podcast? It's incredible. It's like a funky beat. Listen to the season with Peter Schrager on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.

[01:39:17]

I'm Claire Crofton, and in my new podcast, The Fighty Pups, we're going out on the ice with the most violent hockey team ever. That was guerrilla warfare at its highest. The Danbury trashers wanted to win at any cost. Big take down. Big take down. All men were breaking loose here in trasher pad.

[01:40:37]

He wanted to break every bone in his body.

[01:40:40]

Literally throwing him like a rag doll. Going bananas here at the Danbury Ice Arena. They can't restrain them right now. So are they heroes or criminals? You decide. I don't know what to say and I don't want to get shot.

[01:40:55]

There's the FBI side, there's my side, and somewhere in the middle is the truth.

[01:41:01]

Listen to The Fighty Pucks on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You and I are going to have a problem. Do you understand what I'm saying to you? Welcome to The Jungle. Malcolm Heaton, Heaton, I think it's Hedon, donated $50 an ass. As a skilled player, do you have a problem with the quarterbacks avoiding hits when they're the opportunity to make big throws? Or do you understand it takes a special type of quarterback-.

[01:41:32]

To sit, stay in that pocket.

[01:41:34]

-to look down that gun barrel-.

[01:41:35]

And don't kill.

[01:41:37]

-and to take one right here. Now, it's easy to say at home, but I've been hit right here. Just like I'm saying, it takes a special type of receiver to know that safety is going to drop that thund on you.

[01:41:48]

And.

[01:41:48]

Make it feel like trees falling on your head and you go catch it. Now, is it either? I mean, you might do it once. But Al Davis had a famous saying, rest your soul, Al. The quarterback must go down and he must go down hard. It needs to happen in one of the early, in the first couple of possessions of the game.

[01:42:09]

That's what I want to do. I want to send a message. You see, football in its true meaning was about intimidation.

[01:42:16]

You.

[01:42:17]

Were actually trying to break a man's spirit. You're trying to break his wheel.

[01:42:21]

You.

[01:42:25]

See, guys, like I said, guys take a selfie, go across the middle, catch them all one hand, got a selfie.

[01:42:33]

Yeah.

[01:42:33]

The quarterback, oh, the quarterback just throwing. He just changed the arm angles. He throwing all these hair. They throwing, no, no. They wouldn't even look at the receiver. I was like, take that with you.

[01:42:47]

Different times as different.

[01:42:50]

Yes. But look, it takes a special type of quarterback to know somebody's going to put their helmet right here. Even though it's going to be a 15-yard pill, man, you don't want to take too many of those. People ask, they say, Well, Shannon, what's it like.

[01:43:08]

To.

[01:43:09]

Play the NFL? The way I explain that's to go get you a thin jacket, go get you a medium-sized jacket, and go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get you a hard hat. I want you to light up anywhere between 5 and 10 yards from your garage, and I want you to run into it 65 times.

[01:43:25]

Damn.

[01:43:28]

That's why I want you to do 10 yards. I ain't saying do it like kickoff where you light it up for 30 or 40 yards.

[01:43:34]

Like the wedge? Okay.

[01:43:35]

Because that's what those little collisions are.

[01:43:38]

That's what it feel like.

[01:43:39]

That's what you're doing. Now I want you to do that for 17 weeks. I'm going to give you a buy. Take a week off. Take your buy week from running into the wall in the garage anytime you want to. Take it off whenever you want to. You can do anything, but then you got to do it. Now, what they don't do is that we used to hit what I had day in reed. We hit in practice. We hit in training camp. I ain't talking about no throw it up. We put MoFolds on the ground.

[01:44:07]

We had certain days like that. We put them on the ground.

[01:44:14]

You want to know what it's like? Don't do 10 because 10, five yards. Just line up five yards from your garage and run into it. You know what? 65 times, you know what? Just do it. Because the offensive line, they hit on every play. So what position you want to play? Malcolm, what position you want to play? You want to play running back? Do it 20 times. Cd-lam called the ball 17 times. So you just tell me the position because if you're an offensive lineman and you're a defensive lineman, you hitting on every plate.

[01:44:41]

Yeah.

[01:44:41]

A running back, do it 20 times.

[01:44:44]

Oh, snap. Speaking of football and hitting, you all did hamburger drills?

[01:44:54]

When we were growing up, you talked about Bull in the Ring, Oklahoma.

[01:44:57]

Yeah, Oklahoma. But we did itWe did it in the NFL. I can't remember the name. I can't remember the name of it. It would be the Office of Lineman, Defensive of Lineman, quarterback and runnerback. Yeah. Then receivers and DBs, we have ours. Ours was more so just blocking. Not blocking with the running back.

[01:45:18]

Yes.

[01:45:19]

Absolutely.

[01:45:19]

We got Oklahoma.

[01:45:23]

Okay, Oklahoma. I like Oklahoma Drills. I like.

[01:45:26]

Oklahoma Drills. Bull in the ring where you know you in the middle of the ring and Coach called out a number and they come charging at you.

[01:45:33]

Yeah, I remember that.

[01:45:34]

Oh, yeah, for sure. Absolutely. In training camp, you get the 9 on 7 when we had no receiver. If it's 9 on 7, what the hell you think we going to do? The defense, the lineback and the D-line, ain't no threat or no guy they going to pass. It's all running. They done got to set up. You got to run in this area. I'm like, bro. In the game, there is a threat of a pass, 9 on 7. Ain't no passing. It's just man on man.

[01:46:10]

Yeah, money in my note.

[01:46:13]

They know what you're going to do. You know they know what you're going to do, and you still got to go get it done.

[01:46:19]

Every time.

[01:46:20]

That's why when we got in four minutes, you know we're going to run this ball. You hear me say it all the time, moving a man against his will.

[01:46:29]

His will. Hey, you all ran that stretch play over and over and over and over and over and over. The Broncos and the Cokes with that damn stretch play, man. With every day in a die. Like, God.

[01:46:46]

Hand off strong talks week. What you going to do? Stop it. We don't get you up out of here. You fit to get up out of here. They start out talking, Ojo, nothing today. You know the first player is, Yeah, you know what, Ojo, you got to stop it. You get a one-yard game, or you get, No, you're not. They stop you with you. Nothing today. You know the first playing? Yeah, you know what? Ojo, you had to stop you. You get a one-yard game. Nothing today. They do it right here. Nothing. Get that stuff out of here by the third quarter. Come on, man. Who gap is this? No, no. You may be the first and second quarter? You told me we were going to get nothing. Oh, yeah.

[01:47:20]

When everybody fresh is a different ball game. Yes. When them legs get a little tired, you get a little winded. Man, man.

[01:47:30]

Yeah. I said, whoa, you ain't talking. What are they talking? What are they talking? I thought you said we were going to get nothing.

[01:47:37]

Right.

[01:47:38]

How we get nothing and TD got 165 right now. When did that happen? What did I miss?

[01:47:44]

Boy, TD was the real deal, man. Td was the real deal. Him and Portis mastered. Mastered.

[01:47:54]

No, I mean, they were like, even after I left, they had guys that could... Because it was TD and then TD got hurt, Orlando's Gary. Then Orlando's Gary went to Detroit. Then they had Mike Anderson who run Rikard here. Then Mike and then Ruben Jones got 12. Then Portis came, and then Portis came. Then Ruben Jones and then Mike, and just keep going. Running is what we did. We're going to run stopping.

[01:48:24]

It.

[01:48:25]

Was very simple. That's why we were able to be successful. Because it wasn't all them exotic plays, all these checks. If you hear John talking about, all we had was over. That means instead of going left, we're going right. Instead of right, we're going left. All that other stuff. We're doing all this right here. No, we're not doing that. We're either going from hand-offs to toss. We're either going from toss to handoff. That's what we're doing. It's really that simple. Put a hat on a hat if we need to. Normally we're a zone read, but if we need to put a hat on a hat, you finna get up out of here. You got to get up out of here.

[01:49:03]

In other words, you ain't paying- Like you're getting thrown out the club, huh?

[01:49:06]

Hey. You getting up out of there, you ain't paid. You ain't paid in two down. You got to get up. You got to move off this land, bro. I'm sorry. We will get your ass up out of there. Faith just donated, Ocho. Hey, Ocho, hi, Shannon. Thanks for sharing. Thank you for sharing. Please know that your scars are testament to being broke and rebuilt and to serve a divine purpose. Love the scars as evidence of healing. Stay purpose-driven. Prayer for your sister and her healing. Yeah. I feel good. Like I said, don't show them scar. You got scars? Oh, you saw them? It's too late.

[01:49:50]

I ain't got no scars, man. I feel like I ain't been through no war wounds.

[01:49:57]

That's good. You don't want them. I would prefer not have them, but I got them now. I say, well, you know what? They need some cocoa butter, rubber on them. They say, Cocoa butter, but I said to make them light enough. That's what they say. I don't do. Why don't you put a little cocoa butter.

[01:50:12]

On them. Listen, when you get you that plus one, she gets the most...

[01:50:16]

Yeah, she runs a cocoa butter on them.

[01:50:18]

Yeah, she runs your rubbing. Make sure you're ready for that wedding in 2025.

[01:50:22]

Baby. They're the rules of else.

[01:50:25]

Hey, send us some money.

[01:50:28]

Nikki Grant said in defense of Chaffer, let that grown man use language he won't. If you come to Nightcap, you know what time it is also. Let's be friend.

[01:50:41]

Oh, shoot. I forgot I've got to pay $5 for every time I curse. My bad.

[01:50:47]

Twenty. My bad. Ain't no 520.

[01:50:49]

No, we said $5.

[01:50:50]

No, it ain't no 5. I don't know, Nicky. You keep all stored up in this chat now.

[01:50:56]

You can get.

[01:50:57]

What you're looking for. After the huddle said, birthday is tomorrow, can I get a follow-up on Twitter or a shout out? Second question, Chad, have you thought about a post-career book after the huddle?

[01:51:13]

Hey, that's a good one. You know what? I think about it. I think about it. I wrote two books while I was playing, one the beginning of my career, one towards the tail end of it, and one to finish it would be really dope. If I was to write a book, I would want my book to be about financial literacy. I would love my book to be about financial literacy because I'm sick of seeing the stories of us, whether it be athletes or whether it be regular nine to five people. I would love to get my formula on how to save money.

[01:51:45]

You ain't married.

[01:51:48]

What?

[01:51:49]

Imagine if you were married and she take, hold on, she take half the money and all the hooha.

[01:51:57]

Right.

[01:51:59]

So you have for what you are.

[01:52:01]

But.

[01:52:01]

I'm not- You got 20 million. Let's just say for the sake of argument, you got 20 million. Yes, sir. She take half of that and she gets half your pension and you got to pay child support.

[01:52:13]

But I'm not going to be in that situation because I'm trying to trap her.

[01:52:18]

It's the other way around. No, I'm just saying you.

[01:52:20]

Have to- I like what you're saying, but those that put themselves in that situation have to understand the pros and the cons of marriage. That's Yes.

[01:52:31]

Ojo, I don't think.

[01:52:33]

Anybody goes- You can just hear her. What did you say? Just curse her back there.

[01:52:37]

What did you say?

[01:52:38]

Man, don't get me in trouble here, man, because I got to deal with that. Don't do that.

[01:52:45]

Ojo, I don't think anybody gets... I don't think anybody goes into a marriage thinking they're going to get divorced. I think the thing is- You never do.

[01:52:54]

You never do. But let's look at statistics.

[01:52:58]

I'm a firm believer. We got to get a pre-num. Can I tell my homeboy, they say, Sean, I ain't got nothing. I say, Good. Therefore, when you get a divorce, you get 100% of your nothing. You don't want half of your nothing. I want all of my nothing. Whatever I don't have, I'm going to keep it.

[01:53:18]

That's how I look at it, Ojo. But yeah, I agree. I've had a lot of friends that got married. Like I said, I think the thing is that when a person is in the league, and I can just speak to NFL because that's what I'm familiar with, that's what I'm around. I think the women are more tolerant. Oh, going out with your homeboy, staying out late at night, that is a problem because you got $5, $7 million coming in. Now all of a sudden, you ain't got that coming in, and you don't get to move to the front of the restaurant unless you're one of the more big time names. Now all of a sudden, things that didn't annoy you, it annoy you all of a sudden. And see, sometimes people get married. Let's just say for the sake of argument, Ojo, you go two years, you're like, Oh, man, she's a bomb. Everything I asked for, man. She let me chill with the boys when I want to. Occasionally, she'll cook a meal. We go out, we have such a great time. You're under the impression that 15 years from now that's going to be the same way.

[01:54:23]

Oh, no. You have to find another way to make it like that. Basically, you got to fall in love with her all over again. She has to fall in love with you all over again continuously. It's so easy now to, O-Jord. It's so easy now.

[01:54:41]

Man, if.

[01:54:41]

They're working, I'm out.

[01:54:43]

Yeah, most definitely. Because again, social media has made it very, very difficult for a lot of people to remain happy for the lifestyles that they're seeing, especially for the women that they're seeing on Instagram and thinking that that is somewhat of reality or I'm going to find a guy that's going to provide so I can live like this as well. Really not understanding what comes with the territory, with the type of men that you are chasing.

[01:55:12]

Social media ain't real life though, Ojo.

[01:55:14]

Because there's an edit button.

[01:55:16]

In real life.

[01:55:19]

It ain't.

[01:55:19]

Hey, Ojo, I can't go. You can't see me. And then also, hey, let me get this wrinkle out my face. Let me get this wrinkle out my forehead. Let me put more money in my pocket. See, on social media, the women can make their lips look a certain way. They can add some button.

[01:55:34]

You can be anybody you want. You can be anybody you want to be. It's crazy. It's crazy. Crazy. A crazy.

[01:55:43]

They say when theyme, they see me, they say, Oh, you more handsome in person than on TV. I said, For real? I didn't know. I said, I didn't know that.

[01:55:53]

Now, for real?

[01:55:54]

Yeah, I can't- They said, You're bigger too. Yeah, I get that. I get all the care. They say, Oh, fine. I say, For real? I say, I didn't know that. For real? Yeah, I can't. They say, You're bigger, too.

[01:55:58]

Yeah, It say that I get all.

[01:56:01]

The care. They're fine. I say, really?

[01:56:07]

I'll be fine like frog here. What fine?

[01:56:11]

They're fine. It's different kinds of frog.

[01:56:13]

Right. That's Yeah.

[01:56:16]

I don't really get no compliments like that no more. It'd just be my baby. She'd just be praise me. She know you tell me I have a little chocolate.

[01:56:25]

I did ask to stop volunteer to take pictures. I said, Ash, you want to get the picture? No. Ash, all of a sudden she got to go to the bathroom. You just don't talk about no bathroom. You just don't want to get no picture. But Jordan will get us some picture like we're going to be walking at the airport. She ain't going to do nothing about it. She made sure Jordan is... She's either side by side with Jordan or Jordan is in front.

[01:56:49]

We.

[01:56:52]

Got to get you here. How many people in the chat?

[01:56:57]

Yeah, she said, my baby said, I'm fine, yo.

[01:56:59]

We got 32,000 in the chat, Ojo.

[01:57:02]

Sexy. 32,000? 32,000. Hey, that's 32,000 people that know I'm fired.

[01:57:07]

We got to get our gold. We got to try to get like 50 tomorrow. Wait. What's our record? 43 what? 9, 32? What time? About 44,000 is our record. We got to break our record. That's our goal tomorrow.

[01:57:24]

You know what? I'm going to tell you when we're going to break the record. This is when we're going to break it. Watch this. I'm going to tell you when. We're going to break the record. Oh, no. Is there football next Saturday or no?

[01:57:38]

Yeah, I think there are two games next Saturday. We don't know what games.

[01:57:44]

What's today? Today's Thursday, right?

[01:57:47]

That day's Saturday. You're talking about Thursday.

[01:57:51]

Wait, I'm tripping. What calendar is this? What do you mean?

[01:57:57]

It's the one that's been implemented for 2,000 years.

[01:58:00]

Oh, I'm looking at, dude, I'm still on the 2022 calendar.

[01:58:03]

I'm tripping. Yeah, you're really tripping.

[01:58:07]

Okay, I think we're going to do that. We're going to hit that 50. We're going to hit that 50 mark on.

[01:58:13]

Their ad. I was trying so hard because right now we're at 584,000. We were really trying to get that 600.

[01:58:20]

We're going to hit the 600.

[01:58:23]

I was trying to hit it before Monday.

[01:58:25]

Yeah, you're right.

[01:58:26]

But look, we're going to do 200,000 subs in the month of December alone. Which is nobody did numbers like that.

[01:58:38]

Nobody.

[01:58:38]

That's crazy. Matter of fact, and remember, when we hit the million subs, I'm going to have my first-.

[01:58:48]

Oh, yeah. I'm going.

[01:58:50]

To drink the whole bottle.

[01:58:52]

No, don't do that.

[01:58:53]

Yeah, right to the head.

[01:58:54]

Your family going to come together. Huh? You drink the whole bottle, your family going to come together.

[01:59:00]

Where are we going?

[01:59:01]

I think where you going? I know where you're going? I know where you're going. I'm going up Yonder. Don't do that. Not the whole bottle. Just a little swing. We can't.

[01:59:13]

Drink the whole...

[01:59:14]

She.

[01:59:15]

Might have sing the song you just started. Alcohol can kill you like that?

[01:59:24]

Yeah, alcohol poison.

[01:59:27]

See, that's why I don't drink. That's where my mama passed from. But mama drink like a fish, boy. That's my.

[01:59:36]

Baby, man. She probably had a-.

[01:59:38]

A drink like a fish, but she don't even play.

[01:59:41]

She probably had cirrhosis.

[01:59:43]

Yeah, that's what it said on the... What do you call you get from the metal examiner, man? What would you call it?

[01:59:49]

The toxic.

[01:59:50]

Instead of just say alcohol, poison, they had the big scientific word. I had to google the shit. I ain't going to say a lot to you. I had to google. What? Yeah, here. Yeah, but damn, man.

[02:00:01]

But we do. Hey, Ocho, we're doing good. We're doing unbelievable. I mean, considering that we're not even three months, it'll be three because we started the channel October eighth, November 8, December eighth. So January 8 will be three months and we'll be well past 600,000 by January the eighth, which is very good. I want to thank you guys again. Please make sure you hit that like and click that subscribe button because like I said.

[02:00:26]

Look.

[02:00:28]

Ocho and I, we are who we are. We both played the game at a very high level. We won some games, we lost some games, and we both have some stories. I'm a little older than Ocho, so obviously I have more stories than Ocho. I probably hung around more old people than Ocho.

[02:00:43]

I hung around old people too, man.

[02:00:46]

I think the thing is for me is that what my grandfather would take... Because the barber shop was like a house, and all the old men were just sitting there would be telling stories. My grandfather would say, Hey, drop any boys off. You all don't curse in front of these boys. They were very respected because my grandfather would go, sometimes he would go home and come back and pick us up. I would hear all these old men talking and tell all these stories and things like that. I was just like a sponge, just absorbing it up. I was like, man, I was just always thinking, Man, when I get old, you think I'm going to tell stories like this? I'm probably going to be wouldn't. Here I am. I'm just like the old man that was sitting on the porch telling all these damn stories. But this is who we are, and we really appreciate you accepting us for who we are. We're not always grammatically correct. We don't always use the correct pronunciation and all that stuff. Especially me.

[02:01:43]

I talk so damn fast sometimes I got to slow down.

[02:01:46]

But what you see is what you get. I think the thing is you know we're authentic. We appreciate you accepting us for who we are, how we are, and making us, like I said, we're the number one basketball podcast on Apple. We're the number two sports podcast on Apple and Spotify. But if you all think we're satisfied? Now we're thankful because he heard the thing. People say you can be grateful and still not be satisfied.

[02:02:20]

We're.

[02:02:21]

Very grateful. But we're coming from that number one spot.

[02:02:25]

Yeah, I need that.

[02:02:26]

We're coming from that number one spot.

[02:02:28]

We're coming for it. I'm not sure who's in it. The Kelsey brothers. Okay. I love Trave and Jason, but.

[02:02:38]

I need that. We're coming. I love you. You got two brothers coming for it. We're not biological brothers, but we two brothers that we coming.

[02:02:46]

We're family.

[02:02:47]

You know what? We're family. Yeah, we're coming for that spot. Hold on.

[02:02:54]

I feel good.

[02:02:55]

Jordan.

[02:02:57]

I'm feeling good.

[02:02:59]

Oh, Hold on. Did I miss something?

[02:03:04]

Okay. Hey, bro. We've got them cheeseburgers.

[02:03:07]

It's so good. Logan, Black, Roberts, ask how I can. You shout out my husband, Michael Roberts, and my son, Jackson Black. You'll make the- Hold up, Mike? You'll make me the best wife and mom. Okay, Michael Roberts and Jackson Roberts, your wife and your mom wants to wish you a happy birthday, and Ocho and I are going to take the time to also wish you a happy birthday. No, we're just going to shout you out. It's not your birthday. She didn't mention anything about birthday, so it's not your birthday. Michael Jackson, wife and mom, says hello from Unk and Ocho. Thank you for listening. We really appreciate that. Cody Newkirk, that Leporte had me feel like, Oto, I mean, you are... Oto. Oto Cinco. That's what they call you. Oto Cinco.

[02:03:59]

I'm about the toes.

[02:04:00]

Yeah. One of me getting from the rooter to the tutor.

[02:04:03]

Yeah. It's one of the most important things that a man needs to pay attention to that you have ignored all your life. But we don't get you together.

[02:04:11]

No, but you know what I'm saying? I got to see the tough. I mean, look, do I like women with open toe shoes? Of course. Of course. They got one of the most sundressers on. You know what a sundress is, Joe? You know what I'm talking about? One of the most slip dresses.

[02:04:29]

Yeah, that's.

[02:04:31]

If I see what you better never let me catch on payday. Hold check. I took my ESP check, volume check, advertising check, all of them. If she ever let me catch you with one of them dresses on. What about on sundress and slip dress? Hold on.

[02:04:51]

All your money you don't spend you don't have every the volume. Volume. Club Che Chee check.

[02:04:58]

Club Chee.

[02:04:59]

You can get.

[02:05:00]

That check? Yes. Get it all.

[02:05:06]

We can't have you getting all your money away like that.

[02:05:11]

You better let me see it don't slip. Don't do a sundress, don't slip. It's an old show. When they work out and the glue is like, I mean, some of them like, if the way it gets up and down like they shaking hands like a second.

[02:05:28]

Yeah, sure.

[02:05:31]

Lord have mercy.

[02:05:32]

I'm with you when you're right. I got to be careful what I say because she can hit me.

[02:05:36]

Don't worry about it. Reel, this all be real. Stay with.

[02:05:39]

Me.

[02:05:40]

Baby. There's something about a woman in a sundress. Now, look, when they got them shorts on in the gym and they're walking out in a little spandex short. I know what you're talking about. But when they got on that old slip dress or that sundress, man.

[02:05:58]

Listen, I can't get into the conversation like I want to because-.

[02:06:00]

But if I was Magic, the sun would be out. It would be like Alaska all the time. 23 hours of sunlight. Yeah, man. Yeah. What?

[02:06:12]

I don't think she could hear me, but I know what she's talking about.

[02:06:16]

Yeah, man. One of those sun dresses on, Ojo? Yeah. I caught one about seven, eight years ago. Told her you cook, I marry you.

[02:06:26]

Did you shake the covers? What?

[02:06:29]

For dark. Okay. Man, she cooking. She's cooking ox tail, frie, bacon, sausage, grizz. What? Hey. He could plat out. Hey. That helper could cook. She can cook. I know she's watching. I know she's watching too. I know you're watching. I'm talking about you.

[02:06:57]

Yeah. See, that is what you need to go back and rekindle with. That is the type of flame you need to try to light again because there's something special about that. I'm looking at the passion in what you were explaining the situation and whoever this individual may be.

[02:07:14]

But that's- She's the- -No, the one is that she's a...

[02:07:20]

Look- Come on now.

[02:07:22]

Don't hold back now. No, Joe, I think the thing is like, look, I think we're better.

[02:07:27]

Off- Let me get comfortable now. Open up.

[02:07:29]

We're better off as friends. There was a lot of... There was some animosity in the beginning of the breakup. But I think over time, for me, I have never had a problem admitting I was wrong.

[02:07:47]

Right. So you were wrong. I was wrong. Absolutely. You take it you're good with accountability.

[02:07:51]

Yeah, I'm both.

[02:07:53]

I commend you.

[02:07:54]

I demand it.

[02:07:55]

I demand it. I demand it. It's because I ask others to be accountable, therefore I must be accountable.

[02:08:04]

Wait, you ask the woman to take accountability?

[02:08:08]

I do.

[02:08:09]

Just.

[02:08:11]

Because she doesn't mean I shouldn't.

[02:08:15]

Okay, I was going to say it, but now you know. One thing they don't do. They ain't take no accountability and ain't going to apologize. I can't tell you the last time. I'm sorry. You know what? I messed up. I'm taking all accountability for.

[02:08:31]

All actions. Yeah, I was wrong. I was dead wrong.

[02:08:34]

Okay, I understand. I was dead wrong.

[02:08:39]

Yeah, but that's the thing. Yeah, but that was a good old days, man.

[02:08:45]

Sometimes you got to relive the good old days, old man. Like your family reunion or your class reunion, sometimes you ain't seen people in ten years. Once you get back together, you spark something that you never knew you all had.

[02:09:00]

I went to the class reunion. I went to my class reunion. I've only been able to go to one, and that was our ten year reunion. In '21, we had our 35th anniversary. I didn't go to 15, 25, 30, didn't go to 35. But you know what? I need to find. May you know what? I'm going to find me somebody that got a class reunion going up. I'm going to see if people would recognize me. I want to go back and go to theirs.

[02:09:28]

You know people don't recognize you.

[02:09:31]

They're probably going to say, Well, how the hell did you land him? Because I'm the one that, hey, I'm Moby Dick. I'm the one that they tell you, but the fish, man, I had one bigger than this one. I'm the Moby Dick they keep getting away. When I show up to a class reunion or a family reunion. Yeah. Him? He? Yeah. You see what she got on? She got a todd son. You're a todd son. That's why I be up.

[02:10:01]

That's that boy. That's that boy. I got to be careful because I got ears and eyes.

[02:10:07]

Watching me. You talk about toe. He got them legs. I mean, it's something about a workout body. It's something about it.

[02:10:14]

Man, you ain't got to tell me. Boy, you ain't got to tell me. It's something about the workout body? Hey, listen, I'm with you when you're right. I know exactly where you're going with it.

[02:10:27]

Yeah, she... Yeah.

[02:10:30]

I'm trying to spark my memory. He didn't say nothing.

[02:10:38]

See? Hey, keep it cute now. I don't even like my couch.

[02:10:47]

There was a good old day, though. There was a good old day, though, Joe. Uncultured jazz, you guys went to my sister's gender reveal party today. If I was your son and I didn't want or marriage at all, how would you feel? Some folks asked me about that. When I answered them, they looked at me funny.

[02:11:08]

Look, as a matter of fact, happy birthday to KJ. It's my grandson. It's my first grandson. It's his birthday.

[02:11:16]

Hey, he's a Capricorn.

[02:11:18]

He's also LeBron's birthday. Happy birthday, Go James. It's Tiger Woods birthday today. Happy birthday, Tiger. At the end of the day, I'm fortunate because I have a grand. My oldest daughter, I know she wants kids. My youngest daughter take it or leave it. But at the end of the day, I'm not fitting the force of my beliefs, I'm for them. Now, had I had it to do over, I probably had the kids that I got been from one woman. But like you said, Ocho, I was being fast. I was out there being managed and things just didn't quite work out like I wanted. Him. But at the end of the day, I want my kids to do what's going to make them happy. If kids make them happy, it's a great... But like he's saying on Coach Jay, saying he don't know if kids are for him. You got to do what's for you, man. See, people want you to have them kids. They ain't going to take care of them kids.

[02:12:23]

Take care of them? No, ain't going to do that.

[02:12:28]

You got time. My kids are a little older than that, so they get to... I remember I don't want no kids. But I think for the most part, I think my oldest and my son, I think they always wanted kids. My youngest is like, she's really career oriented. I was like, Okay, babe, you're going to look up. Then worst case scenario, freeze your eggs. If you don't find the right guy, you can always go to a donor. But at the end of the day, whatever going to make them happy. I'm not here to like, Oh, you need to do this or do that. That's not what I'm here for. I'm just here to be a parent and you ask my advice, I'm going to give you my advice. But on culture, Jay, you got to do what's best for you, bro, because their kids ain't cheap. They ain't cheap. That ain't no 18-year investment. My grandfather was like, okay, you got 18, 30. With your 18th birthday, you got 30 days to get the hell up out of my house. It ain't like that no more. That's a lifetime commitment. That's a lifetime. Because you're dead forever.

[02:13:41]

With things ain't going right, they going right. They calling. Money jump, funny, they call it.

[02:13:49]

Trevor.

[02:13:54]

Hellsworth says, I can't let you love the show a long time. My wife, Sarah and I, expect my first child to be born in a few days, a boy, Katie. What's the most challenging, rewarding part of being a new parent? Happy New Year.

[02:14:06]

The most challenging part to being a new parent, obviously, I have a one year old, so I started fresh. Even though I have 84 other kids, I started fresh because I wanted to get that full-time experience as a father. But the one thing that you have to rely on and work on is getting the baby in routine with your schedule. Yes. When you up, keep them up. When you sleep, put them asleep. Once the baby gets into that routine, even at her early stage, you'll have so much peace. I'm very experienced in this area. If you need any help, if you need any instructions, I have YouTube tutorials on how to deal with infants, one year old, two year olds, and three year olds. You can check out my YouTube channel on how to deal with kids. And a lot of CocoMellon in Grace's corner.

[02:15:06]

To see that you would have on creating a life.

[02:15:12]

And.

[02:15:13]

To see that little person is just so dependent on you. It's so dependent to know that you want to try to shield it from all the mistakes that you made, realizing that's impossible, but that doesn't stop you from trying. Even when me and the mom would have a disagreement, it's like, damn, I don't know. I just wanted to be the best that I could. I realized I wasn't going to be perfect because at that time, football and getting my grandmother out of the situation and having a life for them for the rest of their lives, that was really important to me. But sometimes I would go and I would see them sleeping and be tempted to wake them up just to hold them. But now you all had been up so much, hell, now I'm going to let you all sleep. Hopefully you all sleep for about 15 hours. But that's a great feeling. Then the best feeling is, Ocho, is that when they're able to walk and to really understand and can talk and.

[02:16:55]

Can tell you- First steps, a classic moment. Matter of fact, what's the individual name who asked the question? Who's having this first? What's his name?

[02:17:07]

Trevor Hillsburg.

[02:17:08]

Oh, Trevor. Trevor. Listen, it's another thing. I don't mean it being your personal business, but in the Bible, I'm not going to preach right now, but I'm just going to tell you something real quick that you and your wife need to take heat to in the Bible. It says that odd numbers are not good, and it's bad luck. So as soon as she gives birth, Trevor, you need to get back in there. You need to get back in there and one more child. One more child. Let's have two and get it out the way now. I'm not sure if you guys even want two kids. Doesn't matter what you want because the Bible says odd numbers are bad luck. So I need you to get back in there, have another. Now, I also have an audiobook if you have more than one child. So you have my YouTube tutorials on how to deal with young kids, and you also have my audiobook. So you google that stuff, and I'm here for you if you need help. Again, the key to it, having kids at a young age is getting them on your routine. When you're up, you force them to stay up.

[02:18:09]

When it's time to sleep, you put them asleep.

[02:18:12]

But you know what, Ojo? It's a job you don't get paid for. You don't get no holidays. You don't get no vacation. No. It's just all work.

[02:18:22]

Oh, yeah.

[02:18:23]

It's a very thing because for the most part, if you're doing your job right, kids going to hate you from the job. Because see, my thing was I was never trying to be my kid's friend. That's my friend. My mom's my... No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Now once we get to a certain age.

[02:18:39]

But.

[02:18:40]

I established early on the dynamic ain't going to change. I'm dad, you're the child. But it's like once they get to a certain age and they can understand and they can comprehend, that's also a time they be talking crazy. Boy, girl. Yeah. But I tried to raise my kid like my grandmother and my mom, that won't work with you. I've been in jail.

[02:19:18]

Yeah.

[02:19:18]

Definitely. Listen- My grandma was quick. She slapped the taste out to buy.

[02:19:24]

You say.

[02:19:25]

Something flit. My grandma be done got close to you.

[02:19:34]

But it's a travel. Good luck. I'm sure you guys.

[02:19:39]

Are prepared. Get back in there.

[02:19:41]

Love, previous or in as? Oh, Joe, where can I send my application just to go out on a date with them. Can you pay for dinner? Can I pay for dinner? Oh, she's going to pay for it.

[02:19:53]

Yeah. Listen, you got you one right there, man. First date.

[02:19:59]

Needs- I'm going to the Seychelles Tower. I want lobster.

[02:20:04]

You know what? I ain't going to say that.

[02:20:08]

See, you got to worry about being on... I'm allergic to shellfish, so I ain't going to get those. You know what?

[02:20:16]

You know what? Come with lobster?

[02:20:18]

Man, go ahead.

[02:20:19]

That was classic. That night was classic. That was classic.

[02:20:27]

Jordan Hackley. What's up, Shannon? Chad, big fan of the show. I have a question for you, Ocho. How did you end up in Monica's Everything to Me music video?

[02:20:39]

Oh, I was a video victim back in the day. I did a little bit of everything. I did a little bit of acting. I did a little amateur. You know what? I mean, that's the whole other story when I was in college. And then it transitioned into being a video victim. I'm really well rounded and very cultured. I've really been around the block and done everything, and I consider that a job. It paid me a little something in the off-season.

[02:21:12]

You know what, Ojo, man?

[02:21:13]

I enjoyed it.

[02:21:14]

What's happening? I had to cut you off. Man, I should have told that. Man, you know how many people... Ojo, I ain't going to lie. Do you know people come up and ask? I mean, I've had women.

[02:21:25]

To.

[02:21:25]

Ask me. About me? No, talk about that. Talk about that. You wouldn't let me order no lobster on the first date.

[02:21:33]

I said- Oh, yeah.

[02:21:35]

Come.

[02:21:36]

On, man. That was a great topic. That was the running conversation on Twitter for about being there two weeks now. Two, three weeks.

[02:21:44]

Man, man.

[02:21:47]

That was funny, man.

[02:21:50]

Even the pilot, I was on a flight.

[02:21:53]

The.

[02:21:55]

Pilot be asking me questions. I'm talking about that's one... That's probably the question that, I mean, probably the most question that women ask. Can I address you as well? Can I call you up? They asked me about the lobster and they asked, You really get upset at me. You really make your partner go to another room to pass gas? Yeah.

[02:22:21]

Absolutely. Right, then was classic topics. Classic.

[02:22:29]

Zane... Zane married his brother from Mississippi. You and Ocho, you all need to come to Hattisburg and eat some real southern cookie. Zane, what are you all putting down? You know what, Ocho? Maybe we do that.

[02:22:42]

What?

[02:22:42]

Maybe we have a contest and they cook, prepare, they let us see it.

[02:22:50]

And.

[02:22:50]

Then we pick four or five winners and we go sit down and eat with them.

[02:22:57]

I like that. I like that. What you said had them cook?

[02:23:01]

Yeah, they got to cook something. They got to...

[02:23:03]

I didn't see it. I thought you said you don't be eating everybody.

[02:23:05]

Cooking though. I don't. I really don't. Because then I like to see... I got to see you the whole while. I don't want to show up to nobody house and your house dusted like riding around in doombuggies. I ain't coming in. I ain't coming in here.

[02:23:20]

I like that. I'd rather just... I don't know. I don't really be eating people cooking like that. I'd rather just meet up and go out somewhere to a restaurant. Yeah, go to a restaurant. Preferably for me and someone I can.

[02:23:33]

Smoke myself. No, you eat off a lot of people's plate and you know what I'm talking about.

[02:23:37]

Who?

[02:23:39]

I keep telling you, you cannot sit on the end of a branch and you cannot turn your head all the way around. You're not an owl. You eat off people's plate.

[02:23:48]

No, I don't.

[02:23:49]

Yeah, you do.

[02:23:50]

Name somebody plate. I've been eating off one plate for the past.

[02:23:55]

Four years. Yeah, talk about that. You ain't four years old, though. What about the other 30 years that you've been eating off people's plate?

[02:24:01]

Actually, the other 30 years don't even count because the other 30 years got me prepared for the moment I'm in now.

[02:24:06]

No, you mean-.

[02:24:10]

I got him.

[02:24:12]

Yeah, I know you're a pro at it.

[02:24:13]

Yeah, I'm talking about shit, baby. Yeah, she's in there cheering for me.

[02:24:19]

Listen, I'm.

[02:24:20]

Trying to get out the doghouse now. Stay with me, baby.

[02:24:23]

Why are you at the doghouse?

[02:24:25]

For the comments we were making earlier. I tried to.

[02:24:30]

Tone them down real.

[02:24:33]

That's Debo in there, boy. That's Debo. That is Debo.

[02:24:40]

Yeah, you need to. But I'm just saying, man. I'm just saying, Ocho, you just need to what you call a man. You just need to stop. I mean, I can't believe that, man. That's what stopped me. I can't I stopped drinking. Because when we grew up, Ocho, we grew up at a time that we played on a team. Let me get a swig of that. You drank behind somebody. I found out it is somebody was talking like, Man, sharp. Let me tell you.

[02:25:14]

I said.

[02:25:14]

Okay, I'm listening. Now you got my attention, undivided attention. I said, You did all that, huh?

[02:25:22]

Yeah.

[02:25:22]

First night? Yeah, man. I just, okay. Hey, I have my own cup from that point on.

[02:25:33]

You can't think like that. I think.

[02:25:35]

Like that.

[02:25:36]

But I'm just saying you can't think like that. I can't.

[02:25:39]

I will.

[02:25:41]

Okay. You're not living, man. You're alive, but you ain't living.

[02:25:45]

That's your mouth. I don't want to taste nothing.

[02:25:47]

That you had in it. You are alive but you ain't living.

[02:25:50]

I'm living.

[02:25:51]

No, you ain't.

[02:25:52]

I get it.

[02:25:54]

The first night, what are you waiting for? What are you waiting for? When... That BMW got that BMW EV.

[02:26:03]

You saw you wanted it, right? Yeah, they died.

[02:26:05]

When there was time to tell me, yeah. You're like, yeah, didn't you test drive it? Did you test drive it first? No.

[02:26:12]

You.

[02:26:13]

Just bought it?

[02:26:14]

I ain't... I don't test drive. I ain't I never test drive a car. I see it. I won't.

[02:26:19]

Hold on. You see what you wanted, right?

[02:26:21]

Yeah.

[02:26:21]

But when it comes to a woman, you got to wait. I got to wait.

[02:26:25]

No, no, no. The first night was a big deal. That's different.

[02:26:28]

How is it different? Different. Because it's something you want.

[02:26:31]

That's what a memo with Red, with the Debo beat up Red. Yeah. Then he asked him why they ain't helping when he was behind the house rolling dice. That was different. That's different.

[02:26:44]

Okay, I got you.

[02:26:45]

I got you. I'm just saying, can we work towards something?

[02:26:50]

What are we working to? What are we working towards?

[02:26:53]

We're.

[02:26:55]

In our 50s, man. We ain't got time to be going through the goddamn rigmarole. You know? The smoke and mirrors. What are you trying to do? We grown.

[02:27:05]

Listen- He might not be no good cook.

[02:27:08]

-teenagers, I understand. -he's not very much of a player. -teenagers, your 20s, early 30s. You got time to waste and play that game.

[02:27:16]

You all don't ruin it. You all don't ruin it. You all don't ruin it. You all, young boy, ruined it. That's the expectation now. I remember women, they were waiting like three or four months for that.

[02:27:29]

Three or four what?

[02:27:30]

Yes. Three or four months. That would need to wait.

[02:27:38]

What music you listen to?

[02:27:41]

I'm talking about, look, in my era, that's what I would do when I was coming up.

[02:27:46]

No, but there's.

[02:27:47]

Somebody lying to you. They ain't lying to me.

[02:27:49]

Ain't nobody waiting no goddamn three, four months.

[02:27:51]

Three, four months for who? They ain't waiting three, four hours.

[02:27:55]

Because they get into it... Today we have a better understanding that all that waiting, it makes no sense. There's no point in doing all that. Do you want to be with me? Do you want to be here? What's one of the most important things in a union, in any union? For one is financial security and financial stability. And two, will I be able to lay with your ass every goddamn night? If that area is not good, I can't do this. I can't do it.

[02:28:29]

So why waste your time? Why can't wait? Why we can't wait like two weeks a month?

[02:28:35]

Two weeks a month?

[02:28:38]

What's the difference? What's the difference than doing it on the first and doing it on the 31st?

[02:28:42]

I didn't say that we couldn't do it. I'm just saying do that.

[02:28:47]

What's the difference? Why wait?

[02:28:48]

A big difference.

[02:28:49]

No, it ain't. First date. When you go to the car wash, you get your car detailed, don't you?

[02:28:56]

Sometimes I don't get the full circle. Sometimes I just drive it through. Then you go through the drive through. I stay in the car.

[02:29:03]

No, we don't do no cookie. No, no cookies.

[02:29:07]

No cookies. I do that when I do, Ojo.

[02:29:09]

No, because that's how you end up in the group chat. No cookies. That's how you end up in the group chat. They talk about you. No, you can't do that. Troach, let.

[02:29:16]

Me ask you a question. That women you all need to stop that too. It wasn't that good. He ain't working with nothing. Did it go down? Whether he had eight inches or he had a quarter of an inch.

[02:29:30]

It happen. They don't matter as long as it happen.

[02:29:33]

You all need to stop that. You all get mad and you all say all hateful, mean things.

[02:29:40]

Don't.

[02:29:41]

Do that. Every time. Just move it alone.

[02:29:45]

Every time.

[02:29:46]

Just move along. Say, it didn't work out. I thought he was a nice guy, but it wasn't happen. Because men have attached sexual proudness, and so women try to break that. Can't break my spirits.

[02:30:07]

You're right.

[02:30:08]

Can't break my spirit. They hurt me. We know what happened. Do we know what happened? Every day. We are finalizing our Super Bowl plans and need to know how many Nightcap fans will be in Vegas and would be interested in purchasing tickets to our live show. Ain't going to be in Vegas and we're going to do a live show. We need to put this thing together to get the size of the venue to make sure because we won't...

[02:30:40]

What are we going to do with that?

[02:30:43]

That's why we want to get a gage of how many people that's going to be in Vegas that would like to come purchasing tickets to the live show.

[02:30:49]

I'm wearing a suit. I don't know about you.

[02:30:51]

I ain't wearing no suit.

[02:30:53]

I'm wearing a suit. Go ahead. I'm going to have my shirt open. I'm going to have my shirt open. I have a little chest hair showing. I'm wearing a suit with my good shoes.

[02:31:02]

They expect me to be in a T-shirt and I ain't going to disappoint them.

[02:31:08]

I'm going to be in a suit. How are you going to be in a T-shirt?

[02:31:13]

That's you dress.

[02:31:15]

It's 2024. You said, I need to grow up. I need you to be in a suit and be presentable for these people in Vegas.

[02:31:21]

It ain't going to happen. I'm in Vegas. I wear a T-shirt. Wait, do you see the T-shirt I got for tomorrow? It's a special one.

[02:31:31]

All right, I'm going to wear a T-shirt tomorrow too.

[02:31:33]

How you jump from Vegas, wear a suit to wear a T-shirt tomorrow?

[02:31:40]

Because we're not even in 2024 yet. I really shouldn't be talking about 2024 yet. I need to be focused on the work we have to do before 2023 ends.

[02:31:50]

Hold.

[02:31:50]

On. I'm excited.

[02:31:51]

Hold on. Tanya Redding. Funny thing is men talk more than women. Some of them do. I ain't going to lie to Tanya, you're right. You're absolutely right. Some of them talk more, and that's another problem that I got. You all quit. You all quit. Oh, yeah, man. I don't care. You think because you did that, that's going to prevent me and ain't.

[02:32:13]

I ain't got nothing to do with me. Whatever happened before I came in the picture ain't got nothing to do with me.

[02:32:21]

Let me tell you something, guys. If you think by telling me the old man I used to mess with her, that's going to stop me. All you're doing is picking me up and putting me right in front of me. If you think that's deterring me, that's putting obstacles, speed breakers, walls, barriers, a prison, blah, blah, it ain't.

[02:32:42]

Yeah.

[02:32:43]

It's not. I don't even want to hit. I don't even know why first of all, you're grown and you're talking like you're in high school. Who do you know that?

[02:32:52]

I mean, a lot of guys do that, obviously, during these times to deter women from dealing with certain individuals.

[02:33:01]

To.

[02:33:02]

Deter the guy from entertaining a certain woman by saying, or I think the kids call it throwing salt on someone's name. It's unfortunate. Obviously, I haven't been in those situations being that I've been off the market like Boston for a while now. That was bars. You heard that bar? I'm getting ready to get into battle rap. So I'll be having all types of schemes. You just have to catch them as we talk.

[02:33:33]

But yeah.

[02:33:34]

It's a dirty game. It always has been. Yeah, but I.

[02:33:37]

Don't know. But, Joe, through my experience.

[02:33:44]

I don't.

[02:33:45]

Care what another man says.

[02:33:47]

About.

[02:33:49]

A man or a woman. If that woman wants that guy, she going to get him. I don't care if you say he slept with 1,000 women in the last 24 hours. She said, Well, I'm about to be 1,001.

[02:34:02]

Yeah, because she want to know. If he was able to sleep with 1,000, I want to know why he was able to. Right.

[02:34:08]

If you say something about another dude, or if you say something about that woman, all they do like, Oh, it's just best to keep it to yourself. Keep it to yourself.

[02:34:21]

Curiosity kills.

[02:34:22]

The cat. But they all don't got the way. It used to be whatever you did, you did. Now they got to tick. Man, you all talk too much. All of you men and women, all you all talk too effin' much. Keep your mouth closed. Why are you telling?

[02:34:41]

Yeah, why are you snitching?

[02:34:44]

Dry snitching. It, because most of the time ain't nobody even asking. Dry snitching, unprompted answers. Ain't nobody ask you, did you know me? Ain't nobody ask you did you know… Oh, yeah, you know back in the day. Shut up.

[02:34:58]

Yeah.

[02:34:58]

They made me mad. They made me mad. I ain't going to lie with you. I... Db said, Shay, Ocho, love you all. I struggle finding a woman through social media. Haven't worked. Should I just focus on myself and let one.

[02:35:17]

Come to me? How are you struggling finding a woman on social media?

[02:35:21]

Yeah, what I want to know.

[02:35:22]

One, you can go outside. You can find them there. You can find them on social media. You can find women at church. You can find women at the library. You can find women at the gas station. There are so many places you can find.

[02:35:32]

Women- I don't find one at the library because I ain't going. Huh? You can go to library? Nail, no.

[02:35:38]

Okay, but I'm talking about buddy. Buddy, buddy. Women's everywhere. But when you got this, it's so easy to find. But it's all about staying within your lane. Stay within your salary cap. Stay within your financial lane and you'll be fine. All these women on social media, those are what I like to call salary cap casualties. You don't want the problems. You want to stay within and under the cap, sometimes below the cap. Right now, the Bangles are $84 million below the cap. Sometimes you got to go that route to have an efficient team. You, Joe.

[02:36:10]

Burrow- Get you one that just got released.

[02:36:14]

Yeah, right there. Get you one that's vulnerable.

[02:36:17]

Yeah, get you one that just.

[02:36:18]

Got released. Get you one that's vulnerable. Dude just left crying. Listen, you ain't got to go for no 10. You don't need a 10. You don't need a 10. You know what you need? You need a six that when she gets dressed up, she's a seven and a half or eight. That's all you need? Yeah. That's all you need. Get you a six when she just chilling. But when she put her clothes on, she about a seven, eight and a half. Boom, you're set. You ain't got to worry about everybody trying to hollow. I don't mean everybody trying to hollow. I'm not trying to hollow. I'm not six. You're comfortable.

[02:36:49]

That's a lie. It all depends. It all depends, Ocho. I guarantee I can go get a woman right now, 500 pounds. In the mirror, fact, Shannon Sharp, what is somebody else don't want them, there ain't nobody thinking about it. That's how it operate. You think about this, and I tell the story all the time. My first college girlfriend, I watched a walk across the yard. I told my college roommate at the time, I said, That's going to be my girlfriend. I'm just going to see how it play out. She walked across from the hall all the way back to Lockett. She walked out with a step, ain't nobody said a word.

[02:37:23]

I.

[02:37:23]

Was standing in the hall in bathroom, and I saw her. I ran out there. I said, Hey, what's your name? You say such and such. I ain't going to call her name.

[02:37:32]

But.

[02:37:32]

Anybody that went to Savannah State didn't know exactly what I'm talking about.

[02:37:38]

Tasha. Okay, go ahead.

[02:37:40]

I said, What's your name? She said, My name is such and such, but everybody called meguess. I said, Okay, what you want me to call you? She said, You can call me my nickname. I said, Okay. I said, You dating anybody? She said, No. She said, I'm just here to get my... I want to go to school. I want to graduate. We started talking. She said, I got a son. I said, Okay, they ain't got no problem. I said, Hey, if I have with you, I got a son too. I'm like, Yeah, I'm.

[02:38:07]

About it. You and the dog?

[02:38:09]

She's fine. So I'm saying, ain't nobody said nothing. I walk by in the hall, ain't nobody said a word to her. The next day, I see in the hall. We start talking. I walk in the class.

[02:38:29]

Oh, no. Wait, did you carry a book?

[02:38:31]

I ain't carry a book. I walk in the class. I see a walk into the cafeteria, guys hanging on like a lion's on a wheel, the beast.

[02:38:42]

God damn.

[02:38:44]

Ain't nobody thought about it until they saw O'Shay. Until they saw O'Shay shot with him. Yeah. I say even some of my teammates. What?

[02:38:56]

The boy tried to double... They tried to back, don't he?

[02:38:59]

Everybody wanted what O'Shay had. You got to realize- They tried to backdoor you boy. You have what you have to understand. I'm Big Dog.

[02:39:07]

Yeah.

[02:39:07]

I'm the H in out on the campus. Yeah. I got a 300 Z. I got a brother in the NFL. I'm wearing Polo. I'm wearing Izada. I'm wearing Lee Jeans.

[02:39:19]

Yeah, you're.

[02:39:19]

That boy. Yeah. Everybody trying to beat my time. But I was you saying both. I lay the blistering time down. They couldn't touch me.

[02:39:27]

Yeah, you're.

[02:39:28]

So- Then you know, right? I said, come on, man. This is what I found out. The moment they find out, they didn't... There ain't nobody talk to her. I watched her. I hustled her. From the day I saw her, I started I hustling her. I said, God damn, man.

[02:39:47]

Well, maybe everybody was scared to say something, but when they saw.

[02:39:50]

You say something- All of a sudden, now they got courage. Now they got confidence. No, but that's okay. I said, Okay. You know what I did, Ojo? I said, Hey, why don't you come to the game? She said, I was going to-.

[02:40:04]

Wait, did you give me your jersey, though?

[02:40:07]

No, we have no... No, I said, Come to the game. I said, Hey, I put on the mo-mo show. I put on the mobo show. I put on the show. Yeah, let's go. Homecoming rolled around. I said, My mom coming. My sister, because by that time we had started dating. So I had.

[02:40:30]

To- Hold on.

[02:40:31]

What? She got to meet mama?

[02:40:33]

She got to meet my mom.

[02:40:34]

Now- This shit is serious. Now, I got to stand up.

[02:40:37]

At this point in time, my mom had never seen me play.

[02:40:40]

Right.

[02:40:40]

I go tell Coach, I said, Hey, Coach, my mom coming anytime, blah, blah, blah. Now I had to drove in the middle of the night to let my sister see, let my sister meet up because my sister is a good judge, so I'm going to let whatever Bucks say. That's my measure of state because she got a good feel. Right. So she's sitting over there. So when my mom came, she's sitting next to my mom and my sister. I showed my eyes. Let's go, boy. I said, come on, Wendy. I said, come on, Whit. Yeah, but the thing was, Ojo, prior to that, I ain't let nobody drive my car. I ain't never let nobody drive my car. So we had practice- Wait.

[02:41:25]

You let her get the wheel?

[02:41:27]

Ojo, so check this out. She said... Let's go. So check this out. We had practice. I said, Can you do me a favor? I said, I got some laundry and I need it washed. I need it. Can you do it? She's like, Yeah. Wait, she.

[02:41:51]

Went to the laundry man for you? Took everything.

[02:41:53]

Oh, that's the one. Ojo, check this out. That's the one. Ojo, you know how you go to the laundry, and when you come back, all that stuff all folded.

[02:42:04]

Yeah, she had everything folded, like colors, like YTS.

[02:42:08]

Lights, and darks. If I didn't know better, I thought she worked in retail. Man, she had everything folded.

[02:42:15]

Hey, that's the one, boy. That is the one, boy. You got to go back and get that on.

[02:42:22]

Man, I'm 55.

[02:42:25]

That's the one, boy. She had your clothes folded: YTS, lights, and darks in college.

[02:42:34]

In college.

[02:42:35]

You know what that mean? But she had structure.

[02:42:39]

That's.

[02:42:39]

What you've.

[02:42:40]

Been missing. That mean O'Shay gave a mean one the first time. That's what it means. O'shay gave a mean one.

[02:42:46]

Yeah, okay. Hey, listen, I see where you're going. I see where you're going, but I ain't trying to get in no trouble. I'm more than a dog house. But I know what this is talking about. I know what you're... Hey, you parted that Blue Diamond?

[02:42:58]

No, there were no there. I was back then. What was back then? I was like a truck on Red Bull all night. Hey, man. Well, I can't say hell with you well now. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.

[02:43:20]

Oh, shit.

[02:43:23]

I like that.

[02:43:24]

I.

[02:43:24]

Like that. I like that. I like that. I like that. That's a.

[02:43:29]

Good story. Sorry. You got to go.

[02:43:31]

Find her, man. I ain't going to lie, Ojo, to be able to be between the ages of 19 and 21, I get $2 million cash money right now.

[02:43:46]

If.

[02:43:47]

I could just be the age of 19 or 21. The 19 to 21.

[02:43:52]

What you know now will be able to go back?

[02:43:56]

Boy. But you know what I'm bad? Because I'm going to have to have a freshman because I ain't got time to put no legs back together. But I have to have- You know what I don't die in 19 or 21. Yeah, ain't die. Oh, my God. Oh, your boy back in the day.

[02:44:22]

Listen, I know what you mean. I know what you mean. Oh, man, that was a good.

[02:44:28]

That's a good story. Rev just donated $400. I'm going to have all the women showing up in Vegas with sundressing. Baby, I love you.

[02:44:37]

Hey, baby, she sent us 400 for real?

[02:44:40]

Sent us 400.

[02:44:42]

Damn. Baby.

[02:44:47]

I'm going to have a team with me in Vegas. I'm ready. I got my team. I'm going to have the whole team.

[02:44:56]

She said you're going to need security out there in Vegas.

[02:44:59]

Probably. Yeah.

[02:45:03]

You're going to say, Listen, boy, during the time too, and you know how you talk about, you ain't got to worry about nothing. That money you're giving that money away, they're going to be there. Definitely, they're coming to watch. They're coming to see us live now. They're coming. Yeah, they ain't going to be no problem. They ain't going to be.

[02:45:26]

No problem. They'll be there. At night they get cold in Vegas. You know, they get cold. They're going to be in like the 60s at night.

[02:45:31]

That's why I'm going to be in a suit.

[02:45:33]

What are you say?

[02:45:34]

I might have on a fur, like one of the Detroit players.

[02:45:38]

No, I ain't going to have no fur on. But we're going to be inside. But during the day? Yeah. Yeah, man. Hey, command. You know when them pool part of it, they're going to be having a pool party in Vegas, but we're going to be busy. We got to be working. I got to be working.

[02:45:55]

[02:45:57]

I can't wait either. Ojo, we got to go back. We got to go back. We got to go back. We got to go back. Have us a boy trip. Yeah.

[02:46:06]

[02:46:10]

Got to be in the summer. Yeah. Okay, hemmed up.

[02:46:17]

You see.

[02:46:17]

[02:46:19]

You're trying to get my ass.

[02:46:20]

Hemmed up, man. Well, you could come, but you got to stay in the room while me and Ojo out.

[02:46:27]
