[00:03:36]

Pft.

[00:03:37]

Next year, next year, next year, he will. Scotty Scheffler.

[00:03:40]

I wouldn't want to win it, Scott.

[00:03:41]

No.

[00:03:41]

Because what is he getting? He probably get clears 2 million after taxes.

[00:03:45]

Yeah.

[00:03:46]

The rest is going to Ukraine. Congrats, Scotty. You're your true ally. Scottie Scheffler is very happy today. Max home is very hungover today because Max is, he hasn't drank a long time. He said afterwards, they asked him, Max, how are you going to feel tomorrow when you wake up and you think about this? He says, I haven't drank in a really, really long time, but I've been planning it for Sunday after the master, so I'm probably not going to feel great.

[00:04:07]

Yeah.

[00:04:08]

So congrats to Scottie. Scotty was dominant.

[00:04:11]

He was, he kicked everyone's ass.

[00:04:12]

Was never really close. He kicked the courses ass. He kicked everyone's ass. He wasn't playing particularly well at times, but he was making crazy chip ends. He was, he was hitting the shot at nine, I think is really when it was over. When he hit that approach shot to three inches, at no point did it feel close. Oberg looked like he. Oberg will win. I'm calling my shot. Oberg's going to win multiple major championships in his lifetime. But Scotty was just too good.

[00:04:37]

Oberg might have won this one if the guy didn't hit the power bar out of his hand cause he was rolling. And then the guy hit the power bar out of his hands, and he double bogeyed.

[00:04:45]

But, yeah.

[00:04:45]

Scotty Scheffler. I think we were fooled this weekend because going into the masters, it was like, Scotty Scheffler, lowest odds for anyone to win since Tiger. He's playing the best golf out of anyone. It's not even close. We were fooled with the wind, basically bringing everyone back into a pack on Friday and Saturday. And we got into Sunday, and we're like, look at this. And there's four guys that are all within a couple strokes, and Scottie Scheffler might. Might not be able to do this. And turns out he can play his, like, b minus game and still win by four strokes. And he's the best golfer in the world. And it's not close.

[00:05:23]

He's still dominant. Yeah. And we haven't seen. There was all that talk about his wife going to labor. He said before the final round that he would go to the hospital if she went to labor before he teed off. He didn't. It sounded earlier this week like he would have just left on Sunday in.

[00:05:37]

The middle of the round.

[00:05:37]

But then he started thinking about it. He's like, if I tee off, by the time I get to the course, I start warming up. If she hasn't gone to labor at that point, then I'm going to stay on the course. Hasn't gone to labor yet. Some people are asking if this is a charlotte the Stingray situation. Is she really pregnant?

[00:05:53]

Griffin the third. I just. Listen, I want the baby to be happy, healthy. It's very beautiful time to have a baby. It's also a scary time. I just want to say that if the baby doesn't, if the baby's born in May, I'm going to. We got to retroactively take away some of these. Scottie, what a great guy. Yeah, he is a great guy. But I'm going to retroactively have to take back a little bit of this stolen valor. Valor of him being like, oh, I would leave at any minute.

[00:06:16]

Yeah.

[00:06:16]

But then all that.

[00:06:17]

Get that baby out.

[00:06:18]

All that means is he's going to have the kid, and then he's definitely going to win the US Open 100% with a new baby. Are you kidding?

[00:06:23]

That's going to be the picture that's holding his new baby on the t or on the green of the 18th hole. The US Open, wherever. Oh, it's Pinehurst, right?

[00:06:31]

Yep. It is.

[00:06:32]

Pinehurst, we played that. We basically played a US open. But, yeah, this was. I I feel like everyone in this room was and probably everyone listening right now. So, amped up for a Sunday at Augusta that were like, this is going to be great. It's going to be so close, you know, big, big shots. And by the turn, it was, you know, Morikawa had a mistake. Oberg went into the water, Max went into the bushes, and it was Scotty.

[00:06:59]

Yeah, the bush really fucked Max on. Was that twelve?

[00:07:02]

I'm proud of that rose bush there. I'm very proud of Max.

[00:07:04]

Max was one of the best golfers in the world this weekend. On a very, very hard weekend at Augusta, he played well. There was just no stopping Scotty on Sunday.

[00:07:12]

There was no stopping Scotty. I. I was texting with Max, trying to pump him up, so I did. I got caught into a superstitious loop. So Wednesday after he came on, on Tuesday, I just texted him, thank you, and I sent him some funny video. And, and he was like, that's great. And I was like, positive vibes. And then he shot great on Thursday. So I was like, well, I got to send him another funny video. It just devolved. The weekend evolved into me sending Max Homa fat Max videos saying, don't be fat Max. Be Max Homa over and over. And so it was like, it was like Max doing the parade with the Sixers. It was Max just completely duffing a tee shot. So that was, I was hoping he.

[00:07:54]

Was trying to focus for a Sunday at the Masters. He was thinking of thinking about Max.

[00:07:58]

Well, no, I sent it to him on Saturday night. And then it was superstitious that I was like, I sent you a video. He's like, yes, you got to send another one. That's crazy what he's thinking about Max.

[00:08:07]

And then he after happens, then asleep, visualizing.

[00:08:12]

He told me that it was good superstition that I made him laugh with a Max video. He's like, you got to keep sending him. I was like, I'm going to keep sending him. I sent him on after. So it would be like, I sent one on Friday at like 07:00 p.m. On Saturday at like 630. Like, he was done.

[00:08:27]

I'm just saying, no one should be thinking about Max.

[00:08:29]

Well, listen, until today, it was working. He was literally like, I'm going to be Max Homa. I'm not going to be fat Max. We had a thing. It felt like it was working.

[00:08:38]

And then he shot his tee shot on twelve into the soul patch. Of Augusta.

[00:08:41]

Yeah.

[00:08:42]

And it was all over.

[00:08:42]

And it was all over. I got caught in a superstitious loop. You don't get caught in a superstitious loop.

[00:08:46]

That's fair.

[00:08:46]

That's fair. It was.

[00:08:47]

It did.

[00:08:48]

It did feel like Max had, like, the positive vibes going. And he shot great on Thursday and it. With the wind on Friday and Saturday. Like, everyone's like, oh, he just keeps getting pars. Like, everyone's getting.

[00:08:58]

Yeah, par was great on Saturday. And we were. We were so frustrated because we were watching. We just want him to make one single birdie. Just, like, get a birdie, start climbing up. But all the pars were good. He was stacking pars. I think I said it was a par fest.

[00:09:10]

Yeah.

[00:09:10]

When party was right there in front of me, but that's all he was doing.

[00:09:13]

Antonio Brown.

[00:09:14]

Yeah. Clau.

[00:09:14]

Antonio Brown, myself. That's all. He's just. He was steady. He was steady, and then he was steady on Sunday, too, but he needed to be a little bit better than.

[00:09:22]

It felt like the whole world was rooting for him, too. Homosexuals were trending for, I think, all weekend long.

[00:09:27]

Yeah.

[00:09:28]

On Saturday. You could see the fear in some of those players eyes when Max was up there. They were homophobic.

[00:09:32]

Yeah, they were. But, Batgirl, were you. Are you. I mean, if. Think about it this way, if Max home would end up winning the masters, you would have been mentioned, like, maybe like, a hundredth in the thank yous.

[00:09:45]

No, yeah, that. That would have been great. But, yeah, I I do think it's probably not great that the last one that you sent him was me whiffing a golf ball.

[00:09:53]

It was actually. No, that wasn't the last one. The last one I sent him was you freaking out the Phillies, saying, you look ridiculous. So that's.

[00:10:01]

I thought, I know these were just topical ones. No, you're just going into the bank.

[00:10:05]

Yeah, I was going in the bank. I was saying, like, this is fat Max. Don't be fat Max. It was a good. It was good motivation for a while there. Yeah, no, I went. I went deep in the bank. I was sending them all your, like, low lights, being like, we got two maxes in this world. We got this Max and you. You're going to win the masters.

[00:10:22]

That's kind of cool.

[00:10:23]

Yeah, right?

[00:10:24]

It would have been cool, and he appreciated.

[00:10:25]

It was, again, a superstitious loop. If people do stupid things. I've watched games from weird positions for the entirety of the game. Hank watched all the Super Bowls from the bathroom backs. Oh, you can't say a superstitious loop doesn't happen.

[00:10:38]

No, I get it.

[00:10:39]

Yeah.

[00:10:40]

How, how weird was it seeing Tiger play today with such like a high, high score and not wearing the Nike shirt? Yeah, it looked weird with him wearing the tiger logo.

[00:10:48]

Right.

[00:10:48]

We really needed him to score well today too, because Charlie woods was a swing coach.

[00:10:52]

Yeah.

[00:10:52]

So I was like, he's going to go low. And then we also will talk to Scott Van Pelt about this. But note gate has been, has been going around the Internet. A reporter asked Neil Shipley.

[00:11:02]

Mm hmm.

[00:11:03]

Jmu.

[00:11:03]

Jmu. Neal Shipley. Very funny looking.

[00:11:06]

Why are they giving Ohio State all the credit?

[00:11:07]

Well, cuz he's a grad transfer to Ohio State. But he graduated already.

[00:11:10]

Oh yeah, he's Jamie Jamu guy.

[00:11:12]

Yeah, Pft says that. And everything I see of Neil Shipley, it's like, Neil Shipley, Ohio State has.

[00:11:17]

A lot more fans. I mean there's just a lot of people that go to Ohio State, a.

[00:11:20]

Lot of front runners.

[00:11:21]

Yeah.

[00:11:21]

So. But Neil Shipley, yeah, he, he couldn't have looked more uncomfortable in the butler cabin. Was very funny. John Rahm, also, that guy, he just wanted to get out of there so, so bad.

[00:11:31]

How messed up is it? I mean, I like the tradition because everything at Augusta is about tradition. It's about appearing as things were like 40 years ago. And they have the, the past winner put the green jacket on the. The current champion and John Rahm's out there just like, fuck this, right?

[00:11:46]

Because sometimes it will be, you know, someone will finally win it and they're just happy. They want, like when Phil won, it's like he finally won one or bubble won a couple. John Rahm and Scotty Scheffler are, you would think for the next decade going to go head to head in everything. And he just won his second one. And John Rahm also had the comments about live, how he's probably not the happiest and he's got to sit there like looking at his watch being like, I could have been on my private jet 3 hours ago. Yeah, the crane finished way, way longer.

[00:12:15]

We did that.

[00:12:16]

We did the mini golf thing this week. And you realize, you know, when you're ten strokes back, but you have to play a whole round, you're like, this sucks. I don't even want. What's the point of playing this, right?

[00:12:23]

Yeah, you just start fucking around.

[00:12:24]

And Brooks had to do that all day.

[00:12:26]

Yeah.

[00:12:26]

So it's for a returning champion at Augusta. I think it's been like only two of the last 20 have even finished in the top ten.

[00:12:34]

Wow.

[00:12:34]

So next year, minus, not to bet.

[00:12:35]

On Scottie Scheffler, which I still will, but note gate, back to note gate. So Neal Shipley was asked afterwards, he's like, some reporter saw Tiger woods pass him a note around the 14th to 16th hole, which I guess would be illegal. I don't know.

[00:12:51]

You can't write notes. Was this 8th grade?

[00:12:53]

I assume Tiger just passed him a note being like, I'm so fucking horny right now.

[00:12:56]

Yeah.

[00:12:56]

Fucked in so long.

[00:12:57]

Dude looked like he wanted to fuck that tree that Vern was behind.

[00:13:00]

Yeah, but.

[00:13:00]

But Neal Shipley's like, no, there was no note passed and was kind of awkward about it. I think Neil Shipley just was thrust into this, and he was maybe looking a little awkward, which I understand. If you're sitting in the butler cabin next to these guys, it's got to be a little intimidating. But we got to figure out what note gate. Like, if he had said, hey, hit this shot instead of this shot. He's also illegal.

[00:13:21]

He's also not a, like, prospect that's guaranteed to go to the PGA tour.

[00:13:25]

Right.

[00:13:25]

He might never even play, but he had that moment. No, I know.

[00:13:28]

And his caddy was like his friend, right?

[00:13:30]

Caddy was like 20 years old.

[00:13:31]

So awesome.

[00:13:32]

Yeah, it rocked. So the. The note that was allegedly sent Neil. Neil Shipley could have taken down Tiger woods.

[00:13:38]

Yeah.

[00:13:38]

You could have just ratted him out.

[00:13:39]

You've been like, hey, told me to hit six there.

[00:13:41]

Told me he hit six. So I guess you have to penalize him. Oh, I guess I beat Tiger today.

[00:13:44]

Yeah, it was probably just like, drinks after. Yeah, seemed like a cool guy. Let's party.

[00:13:49]

Can you give me right home?

[00:13:50]

But, yeah, the. The Verne Lundquist tiger moment was great. Tiger looking like he was shaking the hands of a tree.

[00:13:57]

Yeah.

[00:13:58]

Seeing Verne just like, sitting next to a tree, watching Tiger putt with this big smile on his face.

[00:14:03]

I'm gonna miss Vern.

[00:14:04]

I really am. Vern needs to do, like, a manning cast thing next year at the Masters, where it's just Verne sitting in his living room, maybe up in a tree stand somewhere.

[00:14:11]

Yeah.

[00:14:12]

In the middle of nowhere.

[00:14:12]

Just.

[00:14:13]

Just with that big smile on his face.

[00:14:14]

Verne, I didn't realize this. Maybe I. One of those things that you hear and then you just completely memory hole and forget. But Verne Lundquist is mister steal your girl. Did you know this story? Fucks no. So here's the story. This is from Holly Anderson reported on it. This is from a story a couple years ago talking about Verne Lundquist and his third wife, who he's still married to. We met in a bar, and I hasn't add, it was an upscale bar in Dallas. It was at a place called Arthur's. I walked in after I did the 10:00 news in Dallas and I just didn't want to go home. Nancy and her date were at the bar and her date recognized me from local television and invited me over to have a drink. He introduced me to his date and her name was Nancy Miller. It was their first date, a blind date. So we sat and chatted and her date, Raymond Willie, said to me, listen, I know you're single. I'm going to fix you up with a friend of mine and we can all go to dinner. He looked at Nancy and let me see, they cut it weird.

[00:15:15]

He looked at Nancy and asked her, what are you doing Thursday night? She said, nothing. He said, good, you'll be my date and we'll fix vern up with, with this school teacher friend of mine and we'll go to dinner. Meanwhile, I'm looking at Nancy thinking she is the prettiest thing I've ever seen in my life. So Raymond finally left to take care of his business and I asked Nancy, so how involved are you with Raymond? She said, oh, this is our first date and it's a blind date. So I said, well, forget what he is talking about on Thursday night. What are you doing on Saturday night? She said, I think I'm doing whatever you're doing.

[00:15:43]

That's awesome.

[00:15:43]

And that's it.

[00:15:44]

Good for Vern.

[00:15:44]

He also.

[00:15:45]

Nancy. Yeah, you can't.

[00:15:47]

Speaker two.

[00:15:47]

You can't say no to that. Big smile. The big, like the chipmunk cheeks.

[00:15:51]

Mister Steele, your girl also, I found out because I was looking, I was like, I hope they're still married. Verne was married to a woman before that whose last name was Vernon. And I really wish he had taken her name.

[00:16:01]

Taken her name?

[00:16:02]

Vern.

[00:16:02]

Vernon.

[00:16:02]

I was thinking about the name Vern. We, we might be running out of Vern's. He might be the last major Verne.

[00:16:07]

Yeah, he actually could be.

[00:16:09]

It's his middle name.

[00:16:10]

Is it? It is.

[00:16:10]

What's his first name?

[00:16:11]

Merton. Laverne.

[00:16:12]

Merton. Merton. Good, good call, Verne.

[00:16:15]

Yeah, although, Laverne.

[00:16:16]

Although, yeah, we probably have some Laverne's.

[00:16:18]

He does look like a Merton to Merton.

[00:16:20]

Laverne.

[00:16:21]

Merton Laverne Junior.

[00:16:22]

Yeah, he's the best. Oh, he's junior. There's another Merton. Laverne. Damn.

[00:16:28]

Please.

[00:16:28]

Merton is my father.

[00:16:29]

Yeah, I'm Vern, but Vern is best.

[00:16:31]

What if he just calls himself Merton when he's like, when he's out on the prowl, on the town, he's mister Steele, your girl. Wikipedia says his nickname is the golden throat.

[00:16:41]

Isn't that Nancy Reagan?

[00:16:42]

It is, yeah.

[00:16:45]

Also very funny. The golden throat, the guy Merton put.

[00:16:48]

A hurting on that thing.

[00:16:50]

Deers one on Twitter who said, apology accepted. It was just a picture of tiger's Escalade crashing into the tree.

[00:16:55]

Yeah.

[00:16:56]

And then tiger shaking hands with the tree, which was Verne behind the tree.

[00:16:59]

Yeah, it's pretty.

[00:17:00]

I mean, Verne's arm does look like a tree's arm.

[00:17:02]

If it. Yeah, the giving tree.

[00:17:04]

It's just powerful.

[00:17:05]

One of my one. One of the great stats that I saw online today was that Scotty Scheffler's caddy has out earned Rory McElroy this year.

[00:17:13]

That's tough. Tough break for every. I feel like I didn't even see Rory.

[00:17:17]

So Tiger, before the tournament started, Tiger was. He was doing like, his press conference or whatever, and he said, you know, rory's gonna win this thing. It's just a matter of time. He's good enough, he's talented enough. Kind of fucked up for him to say that.

[00:17:28]

Yeah.

[00:17:29]

Ahead of time. Like being like, yeah, Rory. He's great. He's good. If I was one. If I was Rory, I'd be like, you shouldn't say that. Yeah, I haven't won a masters yet. I haven't won a green jacket.

[00:17:38]

I haven't won a major in like a decade.

[00:17:40]

Can't just say like, will win a masters because you get that vibe from me.

[00:17:43]

Yeah, yeah.

[00:17:44]

I just did that to Oberg.

[00:17:46]

But Oberg's got a years old.

[00:17:48]

I said, multiple me over.

[00:17:50]

Is a robot ready to play? Play golf? Yeah, ready to go. We didn't even see Rory at all. I also. The early coverage when they do, I like him to red zone. But when, when they are like, let's check it on 16. And whoever. It wasn't 16 because that was Verne, but they check it into 14. Whatever announcer it was having to be like. And this just happened a few minutes or a few seconds ago, just being like, I know what's going to happen before you.

[00:18:16]

Yeah.

[00:18:17]

And then I always get the red zone feel of why you wouldn't show it to us unless it's going in.

[00:18:22]

Yeah.

[00:18:22]

Like when Scott Hansen's like. And we go to Tennessee. Like, here comes a pick six. That drives me nuts.

[00:18:27]

Yeah.

[00:18:27]

Just let us just think. Everything's live.

[00:18:29]

And also, every year I fall for the same trick, which is I tune into the wrong app and at the start of it.

[00:18:34]

Yeah.

[00:18:34]

And then I watch all the, like, pre produced segments that they.

[00:18:36]

Jack Nicholas.

[00:18:37]

And I keep wondering, like, when are they going to go out to the course? And it never goes out to the course. Yeah, it's just the piano music, the guitar.

[00:18:43]

You get. Yeah.

[00:18:44]

Like nine shots of Tom Watson and Jack.

[00:18:46]

Nick.

[00:18:46]

I saw Jack Nicklaus tee off like four times.

[00:18:48]

Yeah, yeah, that, that does happen every single year. We also. I'm trying to think, oh, Wyndham Clark. Who. Yeah, that was tough. He on Thursday made a live joke being like, oh, yeah, well, you know, 54 holes. Like, I got this. You know, I can shoot minus seven tomorrow. And then he missed the cut. I think he shot seven over par.

[00:19:07]

Yeah, that was tough.

[00:19:08]

That was also.

[00:19:10]

There's, there's so many cams now.

[00:19:12]

There's a lot of cams.

[00:19:13]

There's three camerons. We had three cameras that finish towards the top, two of which are australian. So that's confusing.

[00:19:18]

It.

[00:19:19]

It was, it was relatively easy for me if I had the american cam and then I had the australian cam. Now we've got two australian cams and one american cam. Now I have no idea who.

[00:19:28]

So, yeah, it's, it's weird when we get them in bunches. Did you see that? We have, we have a bunch of. I think it's like three of the top ten prospects in MLB or Jackson.

[00:19:37]

Yeah, they're all Jackson's.

[00:19:38]

Yeah, there's some form of Jackson. I know.

[00:19:40]

I was hoping first name or last name?

[00:19:42]

First and last. No, I think there's a last two jacks.

[00:19:44]

Oh, yeah.

[00:19:44]

Jackson. Cheerio. Jackson Morrell and Jackson Holly. So all first. I was hoping that it was linked up perfectly without cast. Sorry, Miss Jackson, but it was few years off. That would have been sick to be awesome if that one song made just three incredible baseball players.

[00:19:59]

Yeah, it's. It's tough. Listen, we're getting old. There are no more mats. It feels like the age of Mats is going past. There was a time when there were like nine starting quarterbacks in the NFL all named Matt.

[00:20:09]

Yeah, we're losing them now.

[00:20:09]

We're losing them now.

[00:20:10]

It's.

[00:20:10]

Now we're on to Jaden's.

[00:20:12]

Yeah, Jaden's.

[00:20:13]

And camps. Lot of camps.

[00:20:15]

Were you pointing at Matt Fitzpatrick? Oh, Matt Fitzpatrick.

[00:20:17]

Yeah, Matt Fitzpatrick. Championship.

[00:20:19]

Yep.

[00:20:19]

We also had some great quotes from Terrell Hatton, who just, like, he can't. He's just so mad at Augusta. And you don't really get this very often because it feels like everyone's so prim and proper. Except for Zach Johnson, who. That guy sucks. Yeah, he's.

[00:20:39]

He. Okay.

[00:20:40]

So I actually. I don't have a problem with what he did.

[00:20:42]

No.

[00:20:42]

Because they cheered when he made it a bogey.

[00:20:44]

Right.

[00:20:44]

Which is funny.

[00:20:45]

And then he triple bogey. And because he was gonna miss the cut. And then he turned around, he was.

[00:20:50]

Like, oh, fuck off.

[00:20:50]

After I finally made his putt. And I got no problem with that. Like, tell him to fuck off all you want.

[00:20:54]

Don't lie about.

[00:20:55]

Then go ten toes down.

[00:20:56]

Yeah, right.

[00:20:56]

Which be like, I stand on it.

[00:20:58]

He's like, I can't even hear them. Yeah, that's crazy. And he's also just. He's spiraling from the Ryder cup debacle.

[00:21:04]

Yeah.

[00:21:04]

Which I get it. And I also saw there was a, like, a whole green jacket. One of the things that you watch when you're on the wrong app, like the green jacket. What this means for everything. Zach Johnson admitted that he got yelled at for wearing the green jacket on Regis and Kelly with jeans. You're not supposed.

[00:21:21]

Oh, by Augusta. Augusta reached out to him.

[00:21:24]

You're not supposed to wear it with jeans. And you always have to have a collared shirt underneath.

[00:21:27]

I love a gust.

[00:21:28]

Isn't that great?

[00:21:29]

They're so funny. They police that shit hard.

[00:21:31]

Hard. So, Terrell Hatton, he. He had some good quotes. He said, I don't know what I have to do. Shoot under par around here. I'm putting on a brave face for what I want to talk about or say. He said he's devastated, and it's brutal. And then he said about 15th hole. That hole lives rent free in my head. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. And I think it hates me with the scores that I end up producing on it. Yeah, because you don't usually hear guys, like, they come off and they're like, 15th. What an incredible hole, man.

[00:21:57]

Verse. Hole. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:21:58]

Listen, he's developing quite a rivalry with the course. He's kind of a grumpy guy, too. Yeah, probably hates most holes.

[00:22:04]

Yeah, a lot of them. What else? What else? From the masters.

[00:22:09]

Augusta asked Jason day to change.

[00:22:11]

Oh, yeah.

[00:22:12]

Because they said it was too busy.

[00:22:13]

His drip was awesome. I almost bought the pants, by the way, from that, his new advertiser album, after everyone told me that I was a loser.

[00:22:22]

They've got a sick Newport shirt, so they. Sick gear. Yeah, but I can understand, like, that's not Augusta. That outfit doesn't say Augusta to me.

[00:22:30]

Yeah.

[00:22:30]

Oh, also, Bryson. Bryson was, for a moment, all the way in it.

[00:22:35]

I also.

[00:22:36]

In the most Bryson thing ever. We didn't talk about this on Thursday. He 3D printed his clubs and got them approved a week ago.

[00:22:44]

Yeah.

[00:22:45]

Which I would imagine they just looked at. They're like, okay, we don't know.

[00:22:49]

There's nothing in the USGA. Was that who it was that had to check? Nothing in the rule book about Bryson DeChambeau making 3d printed clubs.

[00:22:56]

$10,000.03 D printed gloves or clubs. I love that story. I want to, like, could you 3d print some clubs that make it so just always go straight?

[00:23:07]

Yeah, probably. I don't know how they check out.

[00:23:08]

Really, really huge.

[00:23:11]

So did Bryson just.

[00:23:13]

He.

[00:23:13]

He created these himself. He, like, downloaded the software himself.

[00:23:16]

And they were supposed. Worked with a team, but it was supposed to fix. So, like, the misses are not as bad, was what I read.

[00:23:24]

Yeah, but that's.

[00:23:24]

There's basically.

[00:23:26]

You can do that with regular clubs. He was just like. I needed to be specific. Specific to.

[00:23:29]

Specifically, I think, wanted to be able to say, like, I'm the first golfer with 3d printed clubs.

[00:23:33]

Just so everyone knows. We've squashed our beef with Bryson, because Brooks did. Hank has gone all the way to being a stan.

[00:23:39]

Hank loves him.

[00:23:40]

He's a stan of Bryson. Oh, it's when I brought this up in the gambling cave, and Hank immediately was like, well, yeah, you can 3d print your clubs.

[00:23:48]

You love everybody on the live tour.

[00:23:50]

Not anymore.

[00:23:52]

Why?

[00:23:53]

Because I had a round robin. I needed a bunch of guys to finish top 20, and Brooks and rom screwed everything. That's neither here nor there. Bryson, I like.

[00:24:01]

I just.

[00:24:01]

What I like, I like his YouTube videos. I watch his YouTube videos. I've come around.

[00:24:04]

That's fair. You love his content online.

[00:24:07]

Yeah.

[00:24:08]

Thank you for everything you do online. Bryson, I would say that to him.

[00:24:11]

If I saw him.

[00:24:13]

We need to get that.

[00:24:14]

He said today, he was like, I have a Snapchat. People come up to me and say, you know, thanks for what you do on Snapchat.

[00:24:18]

I love that. Good for Bryson. He also looks like he did the genius thing of gaining all that weight, muscle, and then getting skinny again. He looks good. He's, like, good looking.

[00:24:29]

He will win a major this year.

[00:24:30]

He looks.

[00:24:32]

He looks like a regular golfer now.

[00:24:33]

With the 3d printed clubs. Yeah, he will win one. His logos are pretty cool. The.

[00:24:39]

I just read Rapaport just wrote this. He blogged some masters thoughts, but apparently Augusta doesn't. In a practice round, you can bring green reading technology that shows you kind of, like, the wavelength of the greens and slope and stuff.

[00:24:51]

Okay.

[00:24:52]

And he's obviously a super nerd scientist, so he uses that and does calculations and, like, uses a ruler to figure out how far back he has to go with putz. Augusta doesn't allow that. They just have normal, like, old school green reading technology or whatever that you can't. You can't use all the extra stuff. And Bryson, he. You know, he didn't say it was an excuse, but he's like, yeah, I got to figure out how to play a round of golf at you. Being able to use all my.

[00:25:16]

Bryson's gonna get neuralink.

[00:25:18]

Yeah.

[00:25:18]

He's gonna get a good implant. Yeah, yeah. And, yeah, he's gonna be like, now I have an advantage hopeful. Like, close one eye, and it'll be like the Terminator.

[00:25:25]

Yeah, he's bt 1000. You're absolutely right.

[00:25:28]

It probably won't work.

[00:25:29]

And Hank will be like, that's not illegal.

[00:25:30]

He'll be the first person to get it done, and he'll be like, look at me. I'm on the bleeding edge of technology. Then on, like, the 16th hole, his eyes are just going to start to bleed.

[00:25:38]

Well.

[00:25:38]

Or it will. He'll get all this technology installed into his brain, and then he'll get to Augusta, where they probably have, like, a Wi Fi firewall, David solve jamming technology. His brain will just.

[00:25:51]

He's just gonna freeze. Like. Like Mitch McConnell.

[00:25:53]

Yeah.

[00:25:54]

Not be able to move.

[00:25:54]

He's like, fuck, what's going on? Bryson and Hank, like, well, they screwed him.

[00:25:58]

Bryce is just too far ahead of the game.

[00:26:00]

Yeah.

[00:26:00]

I mean, if they're illegal, they wouldn't have got approved.

[00:26:03]

That's. I honestly, I. I think they probably just didn't know what to do.

[00:26:08]

I sort of look, you got him. And, like, okay, my take is that you should be allowed to use whatever club you want.

[00:26:14]

Yeah.

[00:26:14]

Like, all the time. Doesn't matter how big it is. Get on the hole.

[00:26:18]

I'll say this about Bryson. I immediately looked because it did say specifically that it was like, so that his misses were not as big of misses. Started looking up to see if there's a driver that just doesn't. That always hits it straight. And I will buy it if I can find one.

[00:26:32]

There are some that have, like, a giant. Giant.

[00:26:34]

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just a fucking huge.

[00:26:37]

Huge head QR ten.

[00:26:39]

All right.

[00:26:39]

So Taylor made. I need one that just. Everything goes straight. I don't care if it goes far. I just want to play in the middle of the fairway.

[00:26:45]

They make.

[00:26:45]

They make these clubs that automatically go back and forward. Like there's a hinge on it that you press a button.

[00:26:50]

Oh.

[00:26:51]

And the club bends backward and then goes through the ball. Oh, you don't even have to swing.

[00:26:55]

Oh, okay.

[00:26:56]

Yeah.

[00:26:56]

Just press a button.

[00:26:57]

You press it. You stand next to the ball.

[00:26:59]

That sounds like perfect golf for me.

[00:27:00]

Goes straight.

[00:27:01]

Yeah, you should.

[00:27:02]

You should be allowed to cheat at golf with the clubs that you use. You obviously have to take your own shots, but if they're your clubs, they're in your bag. Just get the ball in the hole.

[00:27:10]

Yeah, put the ball in the hole. Okay. Anything else from the Masters? We're going to talk more with Scott Van Pelt, who is there. Answer some of our questions. Scotty's just.

[00:27:19]

He's.

[00:27:19]

He's only 27 years old. He's got a. He's got a face of a 40 year old. Yeah, but he's 27. He's gonna.

[00:27:26]

Let's.

[00:27:27]

Let's do the fun debate how over, under.

[00:27:29]

What would be a disappointment in terms.

[00:27:31]

Of total major if he doesn't win five green jackets? I think his career was a bust.

[00:27:35]

Yeah.

[00:27:35]

I'd say two right now. At 27, I think he has to.

[00:27:38]

Get to ten majors.

[00:27:39]

How many does he have? And what's. What's tiger at 16?

[00:27:44]

I want to say Jack Nicolas is at 18. Tigers at 1515.

[00:27:47]

Okay. And he is at four, four, five.

[00:27:53]

No, two.

[00:27:54]

No, two. He hasn't won anything besides the masters.

[00:27:57]

Yeah.

[00:27:57]

He has to get ten.

[00:27:58]

Majority disappointment.

[00:28:00]

Ten majors at 27.

[00:28:01]

Yeah.

[00:28:02]

That's crazy that he has. He's just finished second. How much.

[00:28:05]

How many majors did Tiger have by the time he was 27?

[00:28:07]

A lot.

[00:28:08]

Probably, like, all of them.

[00:28:10]

Nine Tiger woods. Because he won that. That stretch that he had a grand.

[00:28:14]

Slam, where he went from, like, tiger slam. So he turned 27 and zero two. He had three masters, two PGA's, two US opens, and an open. So it's at eight, seven.

[00:28:27]

Okay. So, yeah, eight. Eight. Yeah.

[00:28:30]

So Scotty sky's a bus.

[00:28:31]

Scotty sucks a bust.

[00:28:33]

Yeah.

[00:28:33]

No, I think he's got to win at least four over under three and a half green jacket.

[00:28:37]

So, when. When you win green jackets as you get older, do they resize you every year, or do they give you the same size?

[00:28:42]

I think they give you the same size.

[00:28:43]

Yeah. Yeah.

[00:28:44]

That'd be funny if you got, like, real fat and the jackets didn't fit him at the end.

[00:28:47]

Yeah.

[00:28:47]

Also, Tiger won back to back masters 0102. If Scotty wins next year, who puts on the jacket himself?

[00:28:54]

Like, who presents it?

[00:28:55]

Yeah, I think he has to present himself with a green jacket.

[00:28:57]

That's sick. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:28:59]

I don't know. It's probably just what's name? Ridley, right?

[00:29:02]

Oh, the owner.

[00:29:03]

Yeah, the chairman. He probably is rooting for that so that he can put on the jacket.

[00:29:07]

Yes.

[00:29:08]

Another day for him.

[00:29:09]

Isn't it kind of bullshit that the other guys get jackets, the members?

[00:29:12]

Yeah, I think if you're just a member there.

[00:29:14]

Right.

[00:29:14]

Condoleezza Rice. I saw her wearing a green.

[00:29:16]

Shouldn't have a green jacket. Yeah, it should be. Or maybe a different shade of green.

[00:29:20]

I I don't want to say which golfer it was, but I had a friend that went home with the daughter of a masters champion.

[00:29:28]

Oh.

[00:29:29]

One time to that guy's house, put on the green jacket and only the green jacket. I think that August would have a problem with that.

[00:29:39]

Hmm.

[00:29:39]

You won't guess?

[00:29:41]

I will guess.

[00:29:42]

Let me. Let me. Let me look. Okay.

[00:29:44]

I will guess who. Maybe Nick Faldo.

[00:29:48]

No.

[00:29:49]

Why not?

[00:29:50]

It wasn't Nick Faldo.

[00:29:51]

Faldo. All right.

[00:29:53]

I bet you Nick Faldo just wears.

[00:29:55]

Was that guy Scott Stradler?

[00:29:56]

No.

[00:29:57]

Scotty Stradler.

[00:29:58]

Or Craig Staler.

[00:29:59]

Craig Staler. Scotty Straddler. Oh, poor, sweet, poor Wilford Brimley.

[00:30:04]

Slash.

[00:30:05]

Craig Staedtler.

[00:30:06]

I think we would be really good at just making up golfers name.

[00:30:08]

Scotty Stradler definitely won a green jacket.

[00:30:10]

Yeah.

[00:30:11]

Patrick Reed.

[00:30:12]

No, Patrick. How old do you think Patrick Reed's daughter would be?

[00:30:17]

DJ.

[00:30:18]

No, not Marco.

[00:30:18]

Mira.

[00:30:19]

Not Marco.

[00:30:19]

Mirrors daughter.

[00:30:20]

Freddie Crenshaw. Oh, okay. I got it.

[00:30:25]

I didn't say no.

[00:30:25]

I know. All right, should we talk some UFC 300? That fucking rocked.

[00:30:31]

My favorite part was when that dude punched that guy in the stands as he was walking out.

[00:30:35]

That was awesome as well.

[00:30:37]

Hands at a guy that was just leaning over to try to dap him up.

[00:30:39]

But we had two moments that were just absolutely insane. This is when I actually thought Max Homo was going to win the Masters because it was the weekend of Max's. We had our Max doing the Philadelphia pride night parade, which was great. To the Sixers game. And then Max Holloway versus Justin Gaethje. One of the coolest moments he was. Max Holloway was, like, dominating the fight. He was going to win the fight. And in the last 10 seconds, he literally just pointed to the middle of the octagon, was like, meet me here. Let's throw some fists. And he knocked out Justin Gaethje with 2 seconds left. And it was so fucking give the.

[00:31:15]

Fans what they want.

[00:31:16]

It was. And credit Justin gaethje for. I mean, he was getting his ass kicked. And then he's like, all right, finals get knocked out, too.

[00:31:22]

That should be overtime. In all the ufcs just standing, they shrink the octagon.

[00:31:26]

Yeah.

[00:31:26]

Just like 5ft in diameter. Just stand in there and punch each other until somebody wins.

[00:31:29]

Yeah. And then.

[00:31:30]

And then Pereira versus Jamal hill was awesome as well, because Pereira got. Got kicked in the cup, and Herb Dean tried to stop the fight, and he literally held him off with a hand, and then 2 seconds later knocked him out with a. With a left. Yeah, it was so badass. Yeah, like, no, it's all right. I got this. And just fucking crumpled him.

[00:31:48]

Who's your goat, referee? Is it Herb Dean or is it big John McCarthy?

[00:31:51]

I like herb Dean. I do. And then we also had the. In the. In the female fight. The fuck? What's her name? Now people are gonna get mad. Wang. No, I'll find it. I'll find it. Anyone want to help? Wang Lee.

[00:32:08]

Wow.

[00:32:09]

Whaley Za Zhang. She choked out. She choked out her opponent in the first round, but she got, like, saved by the bell, where I've never seen someone get choked out. And then they just.

[00:32:23]

They.

[00:32:23]

The bell rung. She was completely out. She basically got helped up, was loopy, and then fought another four rounds.

[00:32:29]

It's insane.

[00:32:30]

Fucking crazy.

[00:32:31]

Insane what they just bounced back from and just like, yeah, I'm good to go out there. I'll get punched in the face some more.

[00:32:35]

But that Justin Gaethje Max Holloway moment was.

[00:32:38]

That was.

[00:32:38]

Dana must have been so pumped.

[00:32:40]

That was.

[00:32:40]

That was very cool because you had to have something like that at UFC 300, right? Had to have, like, a seminal moment that people be like, oh, yeah, I remember. This is what happened at 300, because people were upset with the card before the actual fights happened.

[00:32:51]

Right.

[00:32:51]

They wanted more of a splash. That was a moment that made it feel, like, worth it to purchase this.

[00:32:56]

Fight, and it was just. It was everything. You want, like, meet me in the middle. Let's fucking throw some haymakers. With 10 seconds left. A lot of times when you get to the end of a fight, guys will be like, all right, I'm just trying to not get knocked out here. And Max Holloway was. I mean, he was going to win. And he was like, fuck it, let's just toss right now.

[00:33:15]

Yeah, it was very cool.

[00:33:16]

Yeah.

[00:33:16]

And then Conor McGregor's back announced.

[00:33:18]

McGregor's back confirmed. Good. Is he still good?

[00:33:23]

I don't think so.

[00:33:25]

So he might be reaching that level where it's like, people will tune in.

[00:33:28]

To watch a Conor McGregor 100%.

[00:33:29]

I will definitely watch, without a doubt. But he's been out of the game for so long that it might just be, like, sad watching him.

[00:33:35]

If he might win, ass kicked if he wins. Hall, he met hallway, said he'd be down to fight him too. That would be a good fight, I feels like. Or it'd be exciting. It'd be exciting.

[00:33:45]

Yeah.

[00:33:45]

It feels like he's risking a lot fighting, because if he just gets. If he. If he loses in the first round, let's say now, it's okay. He hasn't won a big fight in a long time, and, like, all the memories now, I think, is different.

[00:33:59]

I think his legacy is cemented. I think he's always going to be known as the guy that defined his era.

[00:34:04]

What?

[00:34:05]

The real upside for him is not just the fight. It's for, like, the two months leading up to the fight where he does all the shit talking and he throws water bottles at people.

[00:34:12]

It's good for us.

[00:34:13]

He makes the way in into a circus. That's going to be good for Conor McGregor. Doesn't really matter what happens.

[00:34:17]

And good for us.

[00:34:18]

And good for us.

[00:34:19]

It's always like, what could have been if he just didn't box and, you know, spent his prime continuing to fight, because after the boxing, it was that.

[00:34:28]

Well, he lost an eight DS before the boxing.

[00:34:30]

Yeah.

[00:34:30]

But that was a great fight.

[00:34:31]

That was an awesome fight.

[00:34:32]

Any Natias fight is an awesome.

[00:34:34]

Yeah.

[00:34:35]

Okay.

[00:34:36]

Like, that didn't hurt his legacy.

[00:34:37]

No, no, that was warriors.

[00:34:38]

Yeah.

[00:34:39]

All right, anything else before we do who's back the week?

[00:34:41]

I think I'm a believer in mark Pope now.

[00:34:43]

Fuck.

[00:34:44]

Oh, that was my who's back.

[00:34:45]

Okay, we'll save it. We'll save it.

[00:34:46]

Yeah, that was my who's back.

[00:34:48]

So that was yours as well. So I got a scramble, but I have to read these ads, so you. You find a different one.

[00:34:54]

[00:36:32]

Who's back of the week is the Nestor Cortez pitch.

[00:36:35]

Oh, yeah.

[00:36:36]

Good one. How'd you find that?

[00:36:37]

So one of the craziest pitches of all time.

[00:36:40]

He's a feet. That's Bushley.

[00:36:42]

Yeah.

[00:36:42]

Bush league.

[00:36:43]

Did you watch it? Yeah. What did he do?

[00:36:45]

It was bush league aspect.

[00:36:47]

Explain. Describe to us what he did.

[00:36:50]

He's a pitcher, so he wound up.

[00:36:52]

Okay.

[00:36:53]

And he threw the ball.

[00:36:54]

Mmm.

[00:36:55]

And it was bullshit. Yeah, he wound up.

[00:36:58]

Show us.

[00:37:00]

Call for a buck.

[00:37:01]

It was a.

[00:37:01]

Show us what he did.

[00:37:03]

He's a pitcher.

[00:37:04]

And what I don't think.

[00:37:05]

Stand up and Hank, I haven't seen this story. I can you stand up and show it. Yeah, I know that.

[00:37:11]

We know that. Don't look at your phone. Stand up.

[00:37:13]

Hold on. Lefty.

[00:37:14]

I don't know if I can.

[00:37:15]

This fine boy, Hank.

[00:37:15]

What team does he pitch for?

[00:37:16]

He pitches for the Reds.

[00:37:18]

Wait, he's a year for the red. He's a lefty for the rest. Yankees. All right, so this is Hank doing Nestor Cortez. He wound up. Yep. And then he. No, no, no. So he wound up. Here, I'll show you what he did. You tell me.

[00:37:38]

You.

[00:37:38]

You narrate it and tell me if it's bush league.

[00:37:40]

Okay. All right, so big cat is a righty.

[00:37:44]

All right? He's winding up.

[00:37:45]

He steps back. Motion transfers small leg kick back. Oh, he got fake and then throws again.

[00:37:51]

He did a pump fake.

[00:37:52]

He was. He was. He acted like he was.

[00:37:54]

How's that bullshit?

[00:37:55]

He was throwing a ball to his fucking Labrador retriever at the park. He did a fake, and he, like, swung his foot and never brought it down. And it was just weird and bullshit.

[00:38:07]

Old baseball writers are very, very mad. The real who's back of the week should have been old baseball writers getting mad at.

[00:38:14]

Yeah.

[00:38:15]

They were calling it bush.

[00:38:16]

Yeah.

[00:38:16]

So what exactly are they mad at? The fact that it was disrespectful to the game.

[00:38:20]

Ah.

[00:38:24]

Yeah. Great balance to, like, incredible, hard to do. Incredible balance. I mean, it's bush league, but I. If he keeps doing it, I'm fine with it. If he just makes it a thing. I think he just got caught kind of in the air and was like, I don't know what to do here, but he's been doing weird stuff.

[00:38:40]

This one tweet is so good. Dan Clark. This so called move by Nestor Cortez should be illegal. A very mediocre pitcher trying to find an unethical advance.

[00:38:51]

Okay, I'm now on Nestor Cortez's side.

[00:38:53]

This type of stuff belongs in the savannah in parentheses. Bananas. Not in the major league.

[00:38:59]

All right, I'm now.

[00:39:00]

I now think it's an awesome pitch, an unethical advantage.

[00:39:03]

I didn't know it made people that mad.

[00:39:05]

So, I mean, there's no way this is actually, like, a strategy that could work. Like.

[00:39:08]

Yeah, like, yes.

[00:39:09]

No, but it was, like, 70. It's actually impressive that it was still 76 hours. So what are the rules?

[00:39:14]

You can't.

[00:39:14]

You.

[00:39:15]

If you.

[00:39:15]

I've just never seen a guy late fake.

[00:39:18]

Then you have to let go of the ball.

[00:39:19]

Yeah.

[00:39:19]

Nothing seems illegal here. It's just a. It doesn't seem like a strategy that would work. It was crazy as you have no momentum, but, yeah.

[00:39:26]

All right, so I'm on Nestor Cortez's side now. If it makes people mad, that's. That rules.

[00:39:31]

Yeah.

[00:39:32]

Crazy.

[00:39:32]

Not bullshit. I knew it wasn't.

[00:39:34]

How did you find that without seeing the video?

[00:39:36]

Actually tweeted me.

[00:39:37]

I was gonna look.

[00:39:38]

I was gonna look for. And then I was like, let's see what happens.

[00:39:40]

I.

[00:39:40]

Wait. Texted me, whatever. He just said, Nestor Cortez pitch. I was gonna look for it. I said, you know what? Let's just go for it.

[00:39:48]

Let's just go for it.

[00:39:49]

I didn't.

[00:39:50]

Okay.

[00:39:51]

I mean, you. You were. The odds were stacked against you because we. We had the same. Who's back?

[00:39:55]

Give.

[00:39:55]

Hank.

[00:39:55]

That was actually a very good job.

[00:39:56]

Thank you. You can't.

[00:39:57]

Given the circumstance, did you catch up.

[00:39:58]

And sleep this weekend, Hank?

[00:39:59]

I did. I'm well rested.

[00:40:01]

Good.

[00:40:01]

Sober as a goat.

[00:40:02]

Sober as a goat.

[00:40:04]

Goats are sober.

[00:40:05]

Is that what I'm saying?

[00:40:06]

Is that a saying?

[00:40:07]

Okay. Sober as a judge, sober as a nun.

[00:40:12]

Those work goats. Goat. I don't know.

[00:40:15]

No goats would drink any liquor.

[00:40:17]

Yeah.

[00:40:17]

And I think they probably would eat grapes.

[00:40:20]

Yeah.

[00:40:20]

Well, not Tom Brady.

[00:40:22]

That's true. The antioxidants.

[00:40:24]

Yeah.

[00:40:25]

That is bad inflammation.

[00:40:26]

There's also my. Who's back of the week? It's Tom Brady.

[00:40:28]

Oh, I thought goats.

[00:40:29]

No, goat. Well, a goat. A goat. Tom Brady. He is sober. He went on, I don't know if.

[00:40:35]

It'S a podcast or is it?

[00:40:37]

He was getting his hair cut, which my understanding was that was trademarked by LeBron James.

[00:40:42]

Yeah.

[00:40:42]

Having a conversation. A barber shop.

[00:40:44]

That's true.

[00:40:44]

But he was getting his hair cut, and they asked him about coming back to the NFL, and he said that he would be down for it.

[00:40:49]

Oh.

[00:40:50]

And then he mentioned specifically, because I forget what team the barber brought up. But then Tom Brady was like, maybe the Patriots. Maybe the Raiders. So, Hank, your goat, Tom Brady, might come back and play for the Patriots.

[00:41:04]

That would be fantastic.

[00:41:05]

Hank, where are you at right now with Drake? May we? I know we have draft talk coming up in a week, because it's going to be draft week, which I think they should move the draft up. I think the draft should happen. I guess you can't do it. March madness to master.

[00:41:22]

We really need it the week after the masters.

[00:41:24]

Yeah.

[00:41:24]

Because it just feels like I'm just ready for the draft to happen. We know what the picks are.

[00:41:29]

Give you two weeks of build up.

[00:41:30]

Yeah.

[00:41:31]

You're gonna eat it up. I'm gonna be Friday night. I'm gonna be so sick of draft talk by the time the actual draft at.

[00:41:36]

Yes.

[00:41:36]

Brandon Iuk wants a trade.

[00:41:38]

Yep.

[00:41:39]

So where are you with Drake, May?

[00:41:41]

Or Tom Brady or Jane Daniels?

[00:41:44]

Or Tom Brady.

[00:41:45]

Or Tom Brady or Caleb Williams. Who would you pick? I would pick not Caleb Williams, because he's not yours. He's mine.

[00:41:52]

I'm still down for Marvin Harrison, Junior.

[00:41:54]

Oh.

[00:41:54]

Who's going to throw on the ball?

[00:41:56]

No one. Bailey's set.

[00:41:58]

Yeah.

[00:42:00]

There's plenty of fine quarterbacks.

[00:42:06]

You're so fucked. There's not three.

[00:42:09]

Not three franchise quarterbacks.

[00:42:11]

Probably in the top.

[00:42:12]

You know what I mean?

[00:42:12]

Like, what are the odds of that? What are the odds that the third.

[00:42:15]

Well, I. Quarterback.

[00:42:16]

Franchise quarterback. Or you have a franchise wide receiver who's a stud and can actually make things happen with a perfectly fine Jacoby preset.

[00:42:24]

I mean, if there's pagers, win totals, you're going half.

[00:42:26]

Like, we need five wins.

[00:42:28]

You have to get a quarterback at some point.

[00:42:30]

Wait, so Hank. Hank is doing the Joe Burrow meme, but instead of where's Joe Burrow and Penne Sewell blocking for him, throw it to literally anyone. Joe Burrow, anyone blocking for him, and he incompletes it to Jamar Chase. Hanks doing literally anyone blocked by literally anyone completion to Marvin Harris.

[00:42:49]

Yeah.

[00:42:51]

I mean, who was. I like that. You need to draw that meme.

[00:42:53]

And then the other one is, like, a first round left tackle. Tom Brady incomplete to not Marvin Harrison.

[00:43:00]

Exactly.

[00:43:02]

Well, if we get Marvin Harrison and get Tom Brady, then we're cooking with gas.

[00:43:05]

Yeah, sure. Would be in a good.

[00:43:08]

That would be one of the best combinations instantly in the NFL.

[00:43:11]

Wait, so. But.

[00:43:11]

But if Tom Brady went to the Patriots, like, they can't pretend that Belichick and Brady can't pretend that they liked each other ever again.

[00:43:21]

I think if he waited until Belichick.

[00:43:23]

Left and Tom Brady.

[00:43:24]

I mean, it's been made pretty clear.

[00:43:26]

I understand, but it's like, that would be for it to get a 47 year old Tom Brady out of retirement to a rebuilding team.

[00:43:33]

Yeah, it was made. It was made clear when he left to begin with, but. And then him putting it out there even makes it even more clear that now I would be willing to go back.

[00:43:41]

Yeah.

[00:43:41]

Oh, Belichick's not coaching anywhere in the NFL.

[00:43:44]

What changed in this offseason, Tom? Oh, you know, I'm just. I realize I love the game again.

[00:43:48]

Yeah.

[00:43:48]

I wonder if Belichick got, like, a job right now, if you'd be like, no, I don't want to.

[00:43:53]

Yeah.

[00:43:53]

They rehire Bill Brady, get the gang back together.

[00:43:56]

All right, so. So you're. You don't want a quarterback. I think you need to. These next two weeks, you have to get yourself prepped for Drake.

[00:44:05]

May, you need. We need your big board.

[00:44:07]

You need. And I'm ready for Drake. Maybe because it's gonna happen. And then you're gonna have to talk about it.

[00:44:12]

It's guaranteed to happen.

[00:44:13]

Okay.

[00:44:14]

I would say it's more likely than not.

[00:44:16]

Could be JJ.

[00:44:17]

Oh, could be JJ.

[00:44:18]

Might get JJ.

[00:44:19]

Could be JJ.

[00:44:21]

National champion.

[00:44:22]

You know who JJ is?

[00:44:23]

Yeah.

[00:44:23]

Okay, what schools he play for?

[00:44:26]

Michigan. Yeah.

[00:44:27]

Throwing a Marvin Harrison. Wouldn't that be a little bit difficult? I mean.

[00:44:32]

Yeah, we'll see. I'll do. I'll lock in this week and do some draft research.

[00:44:36]

Yeah.

[00:44:36]

Cuz we used to have. Have Billy's quarterback bracket, which was a great part of the show. Billy's no longer around. He's running for Congress. He has a news conference tonight at 630. I think he's taking on the mob. Anyways, he's doing something smart. So we need Hank. I think you have to step up.

[00:44:51]

Your top ten, Phil Billy shoes.

[00:44:53]

But your top ten starting at number three.

[00:44:56]

Yeah.

[00:44:56]

So three through 13.

[00:44:57]

So assume that Caleb Williams or Jaden Daniels or Drake May. Maybe has been taken at that point.

[00:45:04]

You're.

[00:45:05]

Yeah, and then give us your. And then I want like a little blurb about every player too.

[00:45:10]

Okay. This is a once an episode thing.

[00:45:13]

No, this week. This week we'll do a Friday.

[00:45:17]

It might not even Friday.

[00:45:19]

Is Friday gonna work? How do you tape that on Thursdays? At Thursday? What time? When we do eleven.

[00:45:26]

Okay. Just a blurb. Hey, we're honestly asking you to write ten blurbs, okay?

[00:45:33]

Yeah. Done. And you can.

[00:45:34]

You can most likely. And what you will do is just take them from someone else.

[00:45:39]

No, I'll do myself.

[00:45:40]

I would like you to watch a little.

[00:45:41]

Watch YouTube videos.

[00:45:42]

Yeah, blurb, watch a highlight.

[00:45:44]

Yep. But.

[00:45:45]

Yeah, Brandon iuke, that was. It was like the. The 49 ers are on that. Like, they're gonna have to make some hard decisions soon. They can't give them Brock Purdy.

[00:45:54]

Yeah.

[00:45:54]

They can't keep everyone around. And also T. Higgins said that he wanted to trade too.

[00:45:57]

Yeah, he got franchise.

[00:45:58]

Now I think T. Higgins is like, psych. I'm gonna stick around, play. Did a football camp and the kids guess one of the kids asked him a question about. He was like, no, I think I'm gonna be Bengal. So you can ask for a trade all you want in the NFL, but they don't actually have to trade you.

[00:46:11]

Shout out to kids, how about that kid? We didn't even mention it. The kid, when Scotty touched his ball, he's like, no, it didn't move.

[00:46:17]

Yeah.

[00:46:18]

It was like a seven year old that we just took the like. Okay.

[00:46:21]

Mm hmm.

[00:46:22]

He said it. I guess kids don't really lie like that. They don't really understand how to.

[00:46:25]

Yeah.

[00:46:26]

What if a kid just, like, kicked his ball into the middle of the fairway?

[00:46:30]

That would be hilarious.

[00:46:31]

Yeah.

[00:46:31]

On the fly. You can do it if it's on the fly, right?

[00:46:33]

Yeah.

[00:46:33]

And they probably wouldn't kick out a kid.

[00:46:35]

No.

[00:46:36]

Okay, so your who's back is Tom.

[00:46:38]

Tom Brady. Tom Brady's back.

[00:46:39]

Yeah.

[00:46:40]

My who's back is Kentucky basketball and Mark Pope.

[00:46:43]

Yeah, I'm with you. I think I'm a believer in Mark Pope now.

[00:46:46]

So Mark Pope, they had the 96 Wildcats, who. Mark Pope was the captain of that team. They drove a bus into Rup. Rup was, by the way, packed to the gills, and all of the players came out. Mark Pope came out with the trophy. I was saying this on Thursday, I think, is when they hired Mark Pope. If you're a Kentucky fan and you don't like this higher, I understand. You thought you were going to get Nate Oates. You thought you were going to get Danny Hurley, thought you were going to get Billy Donovan. All these things. Nostalgia is a very powerful drug. Like, I would just, if I were a Kentucky fan right now, I'd just be looking at pictures of Mark Pope and Rick Pitino and be like, this is.

[00:47:22]

This is.

[00:47:22]

We're going back. Sometimes you got to go back.

[00:47:24]

Yeah.

[00:47:24]

Getting the alumni back on campus. I think they had, like 15,000 people.

[00:47:27]

Yeah.

[00:47:27]

Up today. So, I mean, you wanted a splashy hire. You wanted a coach that was going to come in and everybody be like, okay, this guy is worthy of the Kentucky job, but there's no guarantee that a guy like that is going to work out long term.

[00:47:40]

Right.

[00:47:40]

Who knows? If Pope works out, it's going to be the best thing ever. If he doesn't work out, it's not.

[00:47:44]

Yeah.

[00:47:45]

You'd rather have made a better hire at the time, but an old guy that won a championship there.

[00:47:49]

You're right.

[00:47:50]

That nostalgia, having all the players around, it feels like it could be fun.

[00:47:54]

We also had. Max had a great point last week where he said that all the boosters, all the money that would have gone to Danny Hurley's 15, $20 million contract can now go to nil deals, including Rick Pitino said that he'd pitch in. I'd never heard. I had never seen that before.

[00:48:12]

He's.

[00:48:12]

Rick Pitino is going to pitch in for Kentucky's nil.

[00:48:14]

Yeah.

[00:48:16]

For what? Mark Pope. Because he's Mark Pope's coach.

[00:48:19]

That's crazy.

[00:48:20]

And they're going to do a home and home, I think, with St. John's, which rocks.

[00:48:23]

That's crazy to me that Pitino just wants to coach Kentucky.

[00:48:26]

Yeah.

[00:48:26]

He was just like, I'll get on. He did a video being like, mark Pope is the man. And, you know, if he needs help, I'll help him.

[00:48:33]

That's insane. If I was a St. John's fan, well, I would not be happy about.

[00:48:37]

Remember, it's Rick Pitino. Not as much as he wants to go back to Kentucky. He wants the guy who came after Cal to succeed.

[00:48:43]

Yeah.

[00:48:44]

He hates Cal.

[00:48:45]

Yeah. Which.

[00:48:45]

This is what college sports are about. Rivalries and deep seated hate. He hates Cal.

[00:48:51]

Yeah.

[00:48:51]

Cuz cal, you know, made everyone forget about Rick Pitino. So, yeah, Rick Pitino's ready to. Ready to chip in. It's ready to go. All right, Jake.

[00:49:01]

My.

[00:49:02]

Who's back?

[00:49:02]

The weakest people being mad online. So I think we talked about this with the other day, but they do the media lottery every year.

[00:49:11]

This is.

[00:49:11]

This is crazy.

[00:49:12]

This is. Yeah.

[00:49:13]

And one of the winners is a reporter from a local news station named Julia. Julia won the lottery. This will be her first round of golf ever.

[00:49:23]

That rocks.

[00:49:24]

And people are that rock.

[00:49:26]

Guys like that mad right there. Henry Lockwood, gatekeeper of golf. That's awesome. I hope she shoots 3000.

[00:49:39]

Out for his first time golf at Augusta.

[00:49:41]

And be.

[00:49:41]

You be like, but it was your first time playing, too. And the whole time you'd be like, how do you hit the ball?

[00:49:45]

Yeah. Yeah.

[00:49:46]

It's gonna be awesome. It is funny.

[00:49:48]

That's so fun.

[00:49:48]

I hope she just skips, like, seven holes and she's like, ah, I don't really feel like playing this one. I got a nine on the last.

[00:49:54]

How can you not find the humor in that? But it's. Oh, it's great.

[00:49:59]

People are saying the respectful thing to do would just be to decline.

[00:50:01]

No, no.

[00:50:04]

You won the lottery.

[00:50:05]

She won the lottery. You gotta play watch. And, like, Hank are gonna sit there and just be. So I hope she posts her score and it's. It's the lottery. A round of golf.

[00:50:16]

If you've never wanted to play a.

[00:50:18]

Round of golf in your life, it's Augusta.

[00:50:20]

Yeah.

[00:50:21]

Imagine being able to be like, yeah, I played one round of golf in my life. It was at Augusta.

[00:50:25]

Why would you cover golf? And never at any point be like, maybe I should go and hit a couple balls.

[00:50:30]

Yes.

[00:50:30]

Covering golf.

[00:50:31]

She won fair and square.

[00:50:32]

He is.

[00:50:33]

I get so mad.

[00:50:34]

But what.

[00:50:35]

Yeah, so mad she's gonna take massive.

[00:50:38]

Divots in the middle of the fairway.

[00:50:39]

Why would you be mad if all people, like, the only people that could. I'm not mad. Someone else is in the lottery.

[00:50:45]

It does.

[00:50:46]

It doesn't affect our lives at all.

[00:50:48]

It doesn't my life at all either. But why you're mad. But why enter?

[00:50:53]

Because it's a gust.

[00:50:54]

How do you not enter?

[00:50:55]

Yeah, you have to enter. Cuz you never. You've never had at any point in.

[00:50:59]

Your life been like, I want to go play golf. So why now?

[00:51:02]

I think you don't even have to.

[00:51:03]

Play golf to enjoy a nice round of golf.

[00:51:05]

I hope they make. Yeah, I hope they make this new tradition. Just finding one person doesn't even like golf.

[00:51:10]

Yeah.

[00:51:11]

And like, kidnapping them.

[00:51:12]

Yeah.

[00:51:12]

And forcing them to go to Augusta. I hope you lost their scorecard.

[00:51:15]

Oh, it would be. Oh, we got it.

[00:51:18]

We got.

[00:51:18]

At least we got a fake a scorecard and post it and be like, look, here's the person who won it and have it be legitimate. Like, 375. Every. Every hole is a. Is a 22.

[00:51:31]

And I hope she gets a hole in one by mistake.

[00:51:33]

That's what I would put on my card.

[00:51:35]

Yeah, she gets a hole in one, shoots a 300.

[00:51:37]

Oh, man. How mad would people be if we played Augusta and I did a fake scorecard? Oh, if you're. What if you're behind her?

[00:51:44]

What if you are like, you? You get an opportunity to play gusta, and then you can't play. You don't finish your round because she's.

[00:51:50]

In front of you.

[00:51:51]

She doesn't know how to play.

[00:51:52]

I like how mad this made.

[00:51:53]

Yeah.

[00:51:54]

He's so pissed about this.

[00:51:55]

I wasn't mad.

[00:51:57]

Oh, yeah, yeah. You're so mad that she's getting to play a gust.

[00:52:00]

Your name wasn't even in the lottery.

[00:52:02]

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If your name was in the lottery, I could understand being like, fuck this. I really wish I could play. Yeah, we would never. We're never gonna play a guy. That's what it is. Hank thinks he's gonna play a guy. Never know. You thinks. You think if we cover it, we.

[00:52:16]

Have credentials will be in the water.

[00:52:17]

I'll never cover it.

[00:52:18]

Yeah, I'll never cover it either.

[00:52:20]

I'll cover it.

[00:52:21]

So, Jake, odd, will you be more mad about this woman playing it or Jake?

[00:52:26]

I would be willed for Jacob. He played it, by the way.

[00:52:29]

Big nerd move I saw a few people doing. They were making it. They were like AGNc, they just call it.

[00:52:37]

Oh yeah, I don't like that.

[00:52:38]

Or AGN.

[00:52:39]

GC.

[00:52:40]

You're not a member there.

[00:52:41]

Yeah. Characters though.

[00:52:42]

[00:54:27]

Okay, we now welcome on one of our very, very good friends a tradition unlike any other. It is Scott van Pelt calling us from the airport in Georgia. Scott, before we talk about the masters. Just want to say thank you, as always, for joining us last year. People who were listening when Scott was getting a phone call from his neighbor and it turned out that his house was on fire. I'm happy we're a year removed from that and everything is good. Right?

[00:54:58]

On track. We're good.

[00:54:59]

It's.

[00:55:00]

I will say this week is always my favorite week of the year. As you boys know. This is a big part of it. I always enjoy visiting. It's wild to be sitting in this airport a year later and remember when I was getting call from a neighbor and it's, your house was on fire. Not great. That was a shitty night. But we're a year removed. We're almost back, and we're good. And Masters week was awesome. So nothing but blue skies ahead, I hope.

[00:55:30]

All right. I can't imagine what that flight was like after you get the call that your house is on fire and then you have to go up in a plane and lose cell service for a few hours, and when you land, you just hope that everything's okay.

[00:55:42]

Well, you know what's wild about that, honestly?

[00:55:45]

Pft.

[00:55:45]

Is that, like, my best friend went to my house, all right? And, like, think about whoever that person is for you that would go to your house if your house was on fire. And once we got to a high enough place where you got cell service, I sent a note, and I'm like, how bad are we talking? And I see dot dot dot. Now, there are. We all are familiar with the text, with the dot dot dot, which is like, you know, the late night dot dot dot. Like, maybe something great's about to happen in that dot dot dot, right? Well, I'm just waiting to see what he says. And then nothing. And I'm like, oh, shit. He's trying to figure out how to tell me this, and it's. I finally get the answer back, and it's like, it's bad, but it could have been worse. Okay, and so, okay, so, right, so, like, you have a best friend that was telling you this, and I'm thinking, like, that means, like, if you got into a fight with a man with a machete, like, he cut off your arm, but you're not dead. Like, that was.

[00:56:43]

That was the way I was rationalizing it. Then, you know, I got home that night, it was like, you know, 130 in the morning, and you walk in, and you're like, whoa, this is bad. Like, because in my head, like, by the time we took off last year, I was like, well, it's out they got it contained. And I'm like, no big deal. We're good. We'll get a broom and we'll sweep some stuff up. We'll live in the other half of the house. And you get home and you're like, oh, no, it's going to be a year and change. So anyway, it was, it was not great, man. It was.

[00:57:11]

It was. It was also like, I just think about it because you are the consummate pro. And like I said, thank you so much. We love having you on this show every year. And I remember you getting the beep, like, through your phone, and you ignored it. And then you texted me after, you're like, that was interesting call that I was getting. It was a little more serious. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you are. You are. You are the best for coming on with us. So let's talk about this masters. Scotty Scheffler, absolute domination. I, when we started the show, we're talking about it, I threw out there, and I want to hear what your take is on this. That the wind on Friday and Saturday kind of fooled us to be like, oh, someone else could win this masters. Because everyone was kind of on the same spot where it's like, it's hard to get birdies and even for Scottie. And then when the wind died down, you saw today, it was just like, no, I'm the best golfer in the world, and it's not close.

[00:58:07]

Speaker two. That's.

[00:58:08]

That's hashtag big cat. Golf insider. I feel like you're. You're on. You're on it.

[00:58:12]

It's.

[00:58:12]

That's pretty accurate. The thing I'd say is about this is when the day started, we were, a lot of us at the course were entertaining. The thought that somebody could go out and shoot something low because the people, Max, I, we were, a lot of us rooting for Max. If he could just start making some putts. He hit the ball so beautifully. Morocco has won a couple of majors. Oberg is going to be a monster forever. Like, somebody's going to go shoot something low because it felt like it typically is out there on a Sunday. But it was really, it was a challenging week, and ultimately, the guy that went low was, was Scotty. You're right that the wind. The wind was insane. Like, Scotty afterwards, just try to explain it. Like he said, on 15 on Friday, he hit driver three iron, and he had a layup to, like 70 yards because it was into the wind. Today, he hit driver four ironing is on the green, right or bunker but, like, it was. The wind was.

[00:59:04]

Is.

[00:59:04]

I've never seen it like that. And I've been coming here for a long, long time. Like, it was just so steady and relentless, and it did create maybe a sense that it was going to be, you know, somebody could catch him, but he's. He's got a different gear at the moment, and he's. He's just an awesome guy. Has he been on with you?

[00:59:22]

No.

[00:59:22]

Yeah, actually, we don't know that much about him because he doesn't do a whole lot of prize, so we don't know that much about his. He seems like a very nice person and a very private person. Is that fair?

[00:59:32]

Yes, but I think more than that, like, he. I think he just. He has the best sort of sense of what he cares about. And he's not a social media person. He's a simple guy in that he loves.

[00:59:46]

He's.

[00:59:46]

He's got a huge guy. He's got great faith. He's a huge family guy. That family's getting ready to have an additional. And, like, a lot of people in sports, not just golf, but in sports, like, they reach a certain point and then they think they have to keep getting better. And they, like, they try, like, tiger did it forever. He was like, I got to keep getting better. And so. And I would always say to him, no, you don't. You just have to wake up and keep being who you are. I think the genius of Scotty is, he's like, I'm real good with whatever this is, and I'm not trying to change any of it. And when he says stuff like, look, I'm. My identity is secure, and it doesn't change with this. I really believe it. He won, like, 12 million in a month, and I don't think it matters to him at all. So that's. That's rare. Like, it's really rare to be as good as he is at what he does and not have it impact who he is at all. And I really don't think it does.

[01:00:41]

Yeah.

[01:00:41]

It's lip service when someone says that.

[01:00:43]

Yeah.

[01:00:44]

And usually.

[01:00:45]

Yeah.

[01:00:45]

The personality of somebody million.

[01:00:47]

Yeah.

[01:00:47]

I promise you I'd be different. I would just do horrible. I don't know what I do. But even as an old man, like, I do crazy shit. If I want all that money.

[01:00:54]

Yeah.

[01:00:55]

I just blow it. Go to Vegas, meet PFT, and at that spot, get a bag, whatever that was.

[01:01:02]

Oh, yeah, mushrooms.

[01:01:03]

I was.

[01:01:04]

I was. I didn't want to bring it up, but since you brought it up, I wanted to apologize to you, Scott, because I do recall running into you in the casino and there were some other friends around. I was halfway to the moon on some mushrooms, and I had a bag and I just, like, took them out in the open with everybody around us and handed it to somebody else. And then I was like, oh, yeah, Scott's right in front of us as we're doing this. Probably not the place that he wants to be seen.

[01:01:30]

If I could add one little caveat to the story. PfT looks right up at me and goes, that. That wasn't really very subtle, was it?

[01:01:41]

Not really.

[01:01:43]

I mean, this has been a banner week for stories. We have that. I got to tell the Chris long story of how he stayed on a soft 16, which. You don't see that a lot.

[01:01:52]

No.

[01:01:52]

You know, that's great to see everybody.

[01:01:56]

I had a blast. We run a real tight operation over here because he. They were my mushrooms. I left early to try to be, like, a great dad and get home early. I was like, pft, take my mushrooms because I would have eaten them with you.

[01:02:07]

I would have been a bad friend if I didn't take them for big cat.

[01:02:12]

Yeah, yeah.

[01:02:13]

So instead of eating mushrooms, you. You were home in time to eat donuts.

[01:02:18]

Yes, exactly, exactly. But I. But when PfT started sending the pictures, I was like, I should have stayed and eating the mushrooms.

[01:02:23]

Yeah.

[01:02:24]

Look, here's me with Big Dom.

[01:02:25]

Yeah.

[01:02:25]

And my pupils are the size of big Dom's head.

[01:02:27]

We got to make up for it. We went to the final four and ate a bunch of mushrooms there.

[01:02:30]

That's very true.

[01:02:32]

It all works out.

[01:02:33]

We're not drug guys, though. We don't do drugs.

[01:02:35]

But to your point about Scotty, it is. It's weird to have such great perspective and to be that dominant at your sport because every. You think of, like, all the other greats, like Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, they. They have zero perspective on real life. Right. They're just focused on being the best at their sport, and that's what drives them to just dominate people. But Scotty's just like, yeah, you know who I am as a golfer doesn't define me, but he just happens to be the best fuck. Fucking golfer in the world by a large margin, by a lot.

[01:03:05]

And I think, you know, you hear from the very beginning, people talk about, like, oh, this dude. He's like an old soul, and he really is. I was asking myself this today, and I thought it seemed like it had to be longer ago, but it was the. It was the November Masters. It was the one in 2020. I'd never met him, and I knew he was this, you know, one of the next big things in the sports. So there's no one here. And I just wandered over when he was finishing up a practice round to introduce myself, and that was 2020. Like, he's played in five of these, and he's won two already. And, I mean, the thing about this sport, and we're not great at this in golf or in any sport, really. When somebody shows up and they become something like this, you just say, well, this is how it's going to be forever. Well, mostly that's not how life works. But if anybody has the ability to stay in this lane, I bet on him, because, again, I don't want to be redundant, which is what I'm doing, but, like, he just doesn't seem to have vices or things that could get in the way of any of it.

[01:04:08]

Presuming he stays healthy, I think he'll just keep just obliterating people.

[01:04:12]

Yeah. Yeah. It's.

[01:04:13]

It's a crazy story, and he does. He's a very likable guy. All right, so, Scott, put this into perspective for us. Tiger obviously didn't do great today or the weekend, but 24 consecutive cuts at Augusta, it. We take it for granted, but it seems like. Like looking back, it's like, holy shit. That's an insane stat to have. Not having one time where you had a Thursday and Friday one off round can ruin that streak.

[01:04:40]

Speaker two.

[01:04:41]

Yeah, it's.

[01:04:42]

It's.

[01:04:44]

Yes, exactly. What you said is exactly right. But I think for so long, big cat, he. And he did it this week. Like, I'm here to win. And, like, all right, listen, you've earned the right. You're allowed to say that because you're you. But I also think, if he's being honest, the guy had played, like, 24 holes of golf all year, and he had to play 23 holes of golf on Friday. And if you were up early with this Friday morning, we came on, like, 745, and you could see, like, it was cold out. He's moving like an old guy that has a fused back and a busted up leg. He's stiff. He can't move. And you're thinking, oh, this is going to be a hard. This is going to be a hard day, man. And he just stayed like, it looked miserable, like, every moment looked miserable. But he has this gear, this thing inside of him where he just stares at whatever that pain or that adversity is, and he's like, hey, fuck you, because I'm me, and I'm going to win. And him making the cut at one over was winning. And that's the win for this week for him because he didn't have the ability to play 72 holes right now.

[01:05:48]

And it was really cool when Max came into the butler cabin to be able to ask Max, obviously, about what he was doing, which was incredible. But you guys know how much he reveres Tiger. And he got to play alongside the guy for two days and just sort of give us the context of what it's like to see the greatest of this generation battle his ass off just to play the weekend. And you could hear it in Max's, you know, his answers about how I just had the best seat to watch the guy do it. It was awesome that he made the cut. And then, you know, then the hard thing is now you got to play 36 more, and he goes 82 77. He's never finished last in the master. He's finished first five times, never finished last after making the cut he did this week. But, you know, it's not patronizing, I don't think, to say that making the cut is the win for him for this week because of the record you just mentioned.

[01:06:39]

Yeah. Yeah.

[01:06:40]

Is the big winner in all that? Charlie woods being the swing coach that. That got his dad to make the.

[01:06:45]

Cut at the Masters?

[01:06:47]

He's.

[01:06:48]

He's so awesome. Like, I was asking Justin Thomas about him. He's like, he's just the best because he's got all this game, and he talks all this crap, and you could just imagine it, right? Like, imagine your tiger's kid, and you're really good, and you can hit it farther than your dad, and you can be on the range at August and just be like, this is not what we talked about. Let's go. Let's tighten. Let's tighten it up, old man. And, I mean, I don't know him. I just gave him knuckles the other day. I'm like, how are we doing? Like, yeah, he's like, we're getting there. Talking about his own being. Like, you could just, you know, I mean, you can imagine. You could go one of two ways if you're this, you know, if you're the son of Tiger. Like, you could just be like, this obnoxious kid that sucks, or you could be the coolest kid in the room, and he's the coolest kid in the room.

[01:07:29]

Just so you know, not in creepy way. We have dibs on him. So I know that you think he's cool, but he did have a part of my take club cover that we saw a couple years ago, so he's probably listening this right now. We have dips.

[01:07:43]

You can have him. I got. I got to have the relationship with dad that aren't. That helped me have my life. Guys. You guys are certainly obviously big, bigger stars than me for the future. So by, by all means, Charlie woods is all, all part of my take.

[01:07:57]

Charlie woods is basically, like, our future investment.

[01:07:59]

Yeah.

[01:07:59]

He's our meal ticket to staying relevant throughout our fifties.

[01:08:02]

Yeah.

[01:08:02]

When people are like, this show sucks. You guys are so old. We're like, but Charlie woods comes on once a month.

[01:08:07]

Yeah.

[01:08:12]

All the stuff I got on Twitter was, like, just two awls in the Matt and the butler cabin. Like, that was, like, kind of a cool thing.

[01:08:18]

Yeah.

[01:08:18]

You and Matt, I hope for you guys, too.

[01:08:21]

Oh, very cool.

[01:08:22]

It's very cool. And we were rooting so hard for Max, and he played. I think he played really well.

[01:08:27]

He.

[01:08:27]

There was no way he was going to be able to compete with Scottie on Sunday. But it did. It did make me think, like, yeah, Max. Max could actually win this as long as maybe. Maybe Scottie's wife goes into labor, like, 72 hours earlier, and then he's got a chance to win on Sunday.

[01:08:42]

Yeah. You know what?

[01:08:44]

Yes.

[01:08:44]

That would have been helpful if you got the. If Matt. If. If Scotty got the phone call. And I honest to God, think he would have left, like, a knock twice. Like, whatever. I got a green jacket. I don't have a kid. I got to go home. But Max was so good, and it's just, he just needed to make. He needed to make some puts yesterday. If he made putts Saturday, I think he could have won today. At some point, you just have to. You start applying pressure because you just know that you're running out of holes, you know, like, I've got to. And he just, it had to be incredibly frustrating just to be so close so often and. And just not be able to get the putts to drop. But it's still for him and for Morikawa both. Neither had had great years so far, and so, you know, for both of them to play. For both of them to play well this week is, is a big springboard moving forward.

[01:09:32]

You're not getting a call right now, are you?

[01:09:34]

No, no.

[01:09:34]

That made me scared.

[01:09:35]

I got it. This is so. This is the truth. I got a text, and I looked at him like, please don't be scared.

[01:09:41]

There for a second. You looked like, oh, no, I wasn't for. For Max, though. I I I love the journey that he's. He's going through because you. Everyone knows, you know, he grinded for a long time. Corn ferry. PGA back to corn ferry. And for the last few years, it's been like not being able to perform at his highest level in the majors. Last year, he finished his top ten. This year, he's in. He's. He's there. Like, he can do it. So it's like. It's a climb. It sucks. But we were able to talk to him after, like, how is he. How is he doing? Our Max Batgirl wanted to have him on this week, and we're like, fuck, no, dude. We can't have him on after this. Like, he needs some time. But were you able to talk to him?

[01:10:19]

I didn't see him when it ended because we go right up to our set to get ready to do our thing, and, like, honestly, there's. To me, and I'm sure you guys are similar, right? Like, we're really blessed to know these people, and they're just people. And if it were you, I'd be psyched that you were in the mix, and I'd be pulling for you. But the last thing I would do right at 07:05 is fire off. All right, big cat, this was awesome. And here's why. Because you don't care. You don't want to hear it. And you're just one of a million other texts from people that mean, well, they're being sincere. But, like, to me, it's. It's like a. It's like a 24 hours rule kind of thing. And at some point, you just. You know, I shot him a note last night, just like, you're.

[01:11:03]

Whoa.

[01:11:03]

Sorry. Like, you're playing your plan awesome. You just have to believe the putts are going to go in. Well, not enough did, but so what? Like, he still played awesome.

[01:11:11]

Right?

[01:11:11]

But I'll wait. And, you know, you just give it time before you bug him. Because the last thing you want that to be is, like. Like, not today, you know? Not right now. I'm really not in the mood for your. Atta boy.

[01:11:22]

Yeah, it's like a two week thing. Two weeks is. Is usually for professional sports. For professional. Yeah, for professional athletes. Cause I'm just like. Professional athletes are like. Like, when Josh Allen has had some heartbreaking loss, I'll be like, let's give it a little bit of time, because, like, they don't.

[01:11:39]

You. They don't.

[01:11:40]

You know, they want to go through the whole course I feel like he'll be back to normal in a couple weeks.

[01:11:45]

What do you think? Max is listening to the show right now. I don't think I would listen to the podcast after the masters if I was okay.

[01:11:51]

If Max is listening to this show, let's just all say we're so proud of him, and he's gonna win one.

[01:11:55]

Max, I'm really proud of you right there.

[01:11:57]

Yeah, and, buddy, that Rose Bush was fucked up.

[01:12:00]

They should not have put that rose bush there.

[01:12:01]

Yeah, and also, you probably should have hit it out of there, but that's. Listen, I'm not your caddy. I'm not Joe. Also, I would have hit it out of there. I saw where it went in on tv.

[01:12:09]

I was yelling at Joe. I was like, no, it's right there. Yeah, you're looking in the wrong place.

[01:12:13]

Could he have hit it out of there? He could have. Right? If he wanted to.

[01:12:16]

I mean, sure, sure. But the number of things that go right if you try to hit it out of there versus the number of things, like, life's a risk reward thing. Yeah, the risk, rather lengthy. The reward is really small there. So, I mean, he did what he had to do. He just had to. He had to avoid double. And once you make double there, now you're like, all right, I have to make. I have to make Eagle on 13 and probably something else.

[01:12:40]

So, yeah, he did end up.

[01:12:42]

Yeah.

[01:12:42]

Was it. He ended up making, like, a million dollars at the end of the tournament. If he had done our idea, that probably would have dropped him down to, like, 700,000.

[01:12:49]

Yeah, it was. Good job. What do you make of note gate? Where we at with no gate? Because I saw there was the buzz that tiger might have passed a note to Neil Shipley. And I love this. This is just very masters, Augusta. There's rules, and they follow the rules. But what. What? Was there a note passed?

[01:13:07]

Man, I have no idea. I just, like, I haven't. I don't know. We'll get to the bottom of this. Yeah, but we'll get. We'll get to the bottom of this. But, like, well, let's have, like, let's. Let's just go through this. Like it's. Like it's CSI. P. A. Pardon my take. Like, what would have been on it? What. What would have been bad about it? What. What. Who's in trouble?

[01:13:30]

Yeah, well, we had. We had a guess of what would be on it. We're going to spare you our guesses because you're friends with Tiger. It could have been what if he had said, like, use, you know, use a seven here instead of an eight? I guess that would be. But it also is probably a really good moment.

[01:13:48]

Yeah.

[01:13:48]

Not supposed to do that and golf, but, like, why wouldn't you just say it? Or you have your caddy hold up. Like, hold up five. Like, there's ways that we like the information shared. But, like, I mean, is it. What do we write down? Like a silly joke? I don't know. Who knows?

[01:14:02]

Who cares?

[01:14:04]

Me. Honestly, I don't.

[01:14:06]

Yeah. Yeah.

[01:14:07]

I don't really care. It'd be funny, though, if it said, like, last time I took a tampon out of my bag and then threw it on the ground. I got in trouble.

[01:14:13]

So this.

[01:14:13]

Notice me pretending like I'm taking a tampon out?

[01:14:16]

Yeah, same thing.

[01:14:18]

Masters probably were not going that route.

[01:14:20]

Yeah.

[01:14:21]

They would execute you for doing that.

[01:14:22]

Yeah.

[01:14:23]

What about another one? I was curious about Bryson. His 3d printed clubs.

[01:14:29]

How.

[01:14:29]

How does that get approved? And it were they just like, we've never seen this before, so I guess, yeah, you're approved.

[01:14:36]

I think he's like. He's, like, straight from NASA. The whole thing. Like, the clubs, the loft, the whole shebang. Like, he. But I got to say something about that guy. He went through that thing where he was like, hey, I drink lots of milkshakes, and I look like if you pop me with a pin, I would fly around like a balloon because I'm super swole and I'm doing all these curls videos in my garage with dudes. And, like, that reached a point where I think everyone was like, hey, I'm all set with this. And he's. Now he looks phenomenal. He's in great shape. I think that there he sat in the media center years ago and said, you know, par for me around here is 67. And the masters folks were like, really? You don't say. And then he didn't play well, and I don't think anybody around here was particularly sad that that's the case.

[01:15:25]

Right.

[01:15:26]

But he came back. It felt like there was a humility to the guy. I enjoyed the time that he spent. He came in a couple days in the butler cabin. He grinded his butt off, played really well. But if you're asking me, like, what the numbers are for, the putting and what goes on with his clubs and the loft and the three, I don't have a fucking clue, and I don't think anybody else does, either. And I think that's part of it. Like, everyone would just look around and be like, like, are these conforming? I have no idea.

[01:15:52]

Yeah.

[01:15:52]

I just knows we've.

[01:15:55]

Since Brooke squashes beef, we've squashed our beef. Like, Bryson is. He's good for golf. He's an interesting guy. Like, there's enough people out there that don't want to be interesting people when they're playing sports. Like, the people who are interesting and do things differently, we should embrace.

[01:16:09]

And he looked, like actually having fun today.

[01:16:12]

Yeah. And I. When he hold out, like, Saturday, it's like, awesome. Go get him. And, I mean, he was. He was in the mix, and he's. Look, he's an awesome player. His ceiling's really high. And I think this week I was on pardon the interruption, and it was. They asked me about live, or maybe it was levitate. I don't know. I just said, no one gives a shit about this live stuff. At this point, it feels like golf just needs to get back together. But it's kind of complicated because, like, the PGA Tour said, hey, you can't take the money. A bunch of dudes did, and then they're like, yeah, well, let's get back together. Like, that's easy for you to say. You got 100 million, right? I think everyone kind of just understands that it's better when everyone plays. It's fun to see Rom and Brooks and Bryson and Cam Smith and Neiman and all the other dudes. Like, it's. You want to see them all play together, because that means the best in the world are together. And Bryson's one of those people. So, I mean, this week, I think the ratings were high for.

[01:17:05]

Well, it's the Masters. That's the reason. But it's also just a reminder that people like to shamble a personality guy and a talent. They help make the game more interesting. Like, I don't. I don't imagine you all have talked any about golf at all this year to this point. Or if you did, it wasn't much.

[01:17:21]

Yeah, well, Hank makes us talk about golf a lot.

[01:17:23]

Yeah.

[01:17:23]

Plays a ton of it.

[01:17:24]

Hank's mad because the reporter from Wisconsin who's never played around a golf won the lottery. So she's going to play Augusta tomorrow.

[01:17:32]

Hank, you want me to get you out here? You want me to see if I can get sort something out?

[01:17:35]

How many times have you played here? Yeah, some.

[01:17:39]

You know, I don't know.

[01:17:40]

It's. It's.

[01:17:41]

It's actually not a lot. I.

[01:17:43]

That.

[01:17:43]

You know, the funny thing, I told someone this story today. There was a member that asked me, and I couldn't because of work, and then asked me again, and I couldn't because of work. And he's like, you know, I've never had to ask anybody more than once. I host a show, and it's just me. And if I'm not there, then, I mean, it's not like I can get someone to cover my shift, you know, I'm sorry. It sucks so bad having to say I can't. I couldn't do it. I'm just. I'm hoping to get back again at some point, but, yeah, I mean, you know, I know a couple people that won the lottery. I don't know. I don't. I didn't hear the story about the Wisconsin person that's never played, but this ain't the per. This is not the place you want to, you know, play for the first time.

[01:18:22]

Yeah.

[01:18:22]

What did you shoot? What's your low round at Augusta?

[01:18:25]

I broke a hundred, but I. It was like. It started with a nine. I was very sad about that because I putted well, but I hit it awful. And I was a complete tourist. I was like, all I did was walk around and take pictures the whole time. And if I did it again now, I would be. I would have a way different approach. But it was.

[01:18:42]

It was.

[01:18:43]

I was super touristy the whole time. I look back on it now and, I mean, whatever. I think I probably had, like, quadruple pleated pants and, like, a bad part in my hair. So it was a lot about that day I'd like to redo. Hopefully I'll get another crack at it here.

[01:18:55]

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[01:18:56]

Let us know. Hank will definitely play with you, by the way.

[01:18:58]

Yeah, he would.

[01:19:00]

He would actually. It's the opposite of you.

[01:19:01]

He would quit.

[01:19:02]

He would quit Barstool as a whole.

[01:19:04]

For one round. For one round.

[01:19:05]

Yeah.

[01:19:06]

So very easy. But, um, there was another.

[01:19:07]

Throw it all away, Hank. This is a good. Got a good thing cooking, man.

[01:19:10]

Another big reason people tuned in to see Verne for the last time.

[01:19:13]

Yeah.

[01:19:14]

It's not going to feel the same without Verne. I assume that you've gotten to know him over the years. Can you just tell us what he's like behind the scenes?

[01:19:23]

He's like, there are certain people, I think, that you. Whatever you think. Imagine burn Lundquist would be like. Like, I think we all can be cynical, right? I mean, all of us. And we can kind of roll our eyes and stuff. And then there's certain people you meet, and you're like, that's Vern Lundquist. And there's a reverence because he's been this, this soundtrack of so many incredible moments. And he's really great. And he's been incredibly nice to me. And so the other day on our broadcast, the producer from CB's, his name is Seller shy. He's like, do you want to. You want to say something to burn? Like, you want to do something here in Vernon? I'm like, man, it'd be awesome. And so I didn't have anything written down, but I just said that, you know, the moments here don't need anything. You know, the moments that the masters stand on their own. But an iconic call can make these moments forever moments. And Verne has made, like, made moments completely elevated to a different level. Like, yes, sir. With Jack. And in your life, have you ever seen anything like that with Tiger?

[01:20:25]

You don't just remember what they look like. You remember what they sounded like because of Verne.

[01:20:28]

Yeah.

[01:20:29]

And I went on and on about how great it was for us at ESPN to be able to share part of the weekend and show our respect and appreciation, because we're just, you know, we're talking for all the people out there. And he came up to me the other day and it was like he was choked up about how he could never thank me adequately for what I said. And I'm, and I'm thinking to myself, this is, there's surreal moments in your life. And here's Vern Lundquist thanking me for thanking him. And it was like, all I could do not to, like, I wanted to pick him up and hug him.

[01:20:58]

Yeah.

[01:20:59]

I didn't want it to get weird for Vern, so I just told him how sincere I meant what I said. And it's been a treat to get to know him because he's such a gentleman and he's a legend in broadcasting. And, like, look, we've all gotten to know each other, right? And I think you guys understand that I appreciate all this, but there's, there's certain times that you just can't even believe that it's what you get to do.

[01:21:22]

Yeah.

[01:21:22]

Like you're, you cross paths with that guy at this event, and on Thursday and Friday, like you're calling the golf and he's on the call with you and you're like, how did any of this happen? So it was really, really something I'll never forget when he was so appreciative of me just saying thanks, which is what everyone would do if they had that chance. You know what I mean?

[01:21:46]

It's such a great point too, when it comes to sports and, like, the announcers that just live in your head, like, I always just think of college football and Keith Jackson. Like, it's always. It would forever be ingrained in my brain and, you know, Brent and all these guys. But, yeah, Verne, those moments, especially the Tiger moment, like, that's. Yeah, that's the first thing you think of is just repeating what he says as Tiger's ball rolls in. I got one more masters question, then I got another question that we'll let you go. Cause I know you got a flight to catch. We were talking about this, the green jacket ceremony. Awesome. Very unique to sports in the fact that you have the champion from last year putting on the jacket for the champion this year. Like, could you ever imagine Tom Brady handing over a Super bowl trophy to, you know, Patrick Holmes? He wins it the next year. Have you ever talked to anyone about that? And being like, is that fuel? Cause like, I, John Rahm does. You can't look comfortable in that moment to be like, I'm here, I'm competing, and now I got to put the green jacket on you.

[01:22:46]

And I wanted to win this thing this year.

[01:22:48]

I actually was really lucky to be able to talk to Arnold Palmer about it, like, a long time ago because there was this series of time when. And I mean, it predates me mostly, but, I mean, it was Palmer and player and Nicholas, the big three. And there was like this. There's this stretch, and I'll get it wrong, but it was like, gary put it on Jack. Jack put it on Arnold. Arnold put it on Gary. Like, it just. It traded hands among that trio. And, I mean, I mean, in so many words, Arnold was like, well, of course there's just enormous respect, but there's just nothing that would make your competitive fire burn brighter than the idea that I got to put this thing on this guy that I wanted to beat, and he beat my ass. And now I have to give him this. I still have mine, but you're the one that gets this.

[01:23:35]

Now.

[01:23:35]

I think that there is something that is. It's like a sacred part of the week, and it just shows the reverence and the respect that the champions have for each other. But hell, yeah. If you got, like, you think Ron wants to put it on Scotty? Like, those guys were going back and forth all year last year, right? And now, you know, look, Rom got all the dough and he didn't have his best. I saw him on Saturday and he. I said, you know, you battled your ass off yesterday. He said it was not a good day to not have your best stuff. But I give him credit as a champ. He wanted to be here playing the weekend. He didn't want to have to stick around and not be able to go home and have to wait till Sunday. Right, to put the jacket on. But you're absolutely right that there's. That it's a revered part of the traditions, and there's a long list of them, but it absolutely is the kind of thing that stokes the fire among these most competitive guys and wouldn't surprise anybody if Rahm won it again next year.

[01:24:29]

But there's so many things I love about this week, and I think one of them we probably have to do here.

[01:24:36]

Yeah, that was my. Wait if Scotty. Because I don't even remember when Tiger won back to back. What happens if Scotty wins next year? Does he just put it on himself?

[01:24:45]

No, he gets. He gets to go streaking. That's the rule. Run around. No, like the chairman. The chairman that would put the. Put the jacket on him. And it's. To me, it's more fun when it's. When. Especially when it's great champions like it was today, which pretty much every year, it's. If you're a Masters champion, it's obviously great. But when you're talking about really high ranked players like that, those moments are. Are more memorable. I think so. I agree with chef for next year. He's out of his mind.

[01:25:18]

Yeah.

[01:25:19]

All right, so, Roback, question rho back.com promo code. Take cues, polos, hoodies, joggers, shorts, everything. I'm wearing the joggers right now. I wear them all weekend long. All week long, too. Roback.com promo code take. The best clothes out there. Perfect. Golf, polos, as well as golf season. Go to roback.com, put in promo code take. So, Scott, what are we working with this year?

[01:25:41]

All right, that was the venue. Very lengthy read. All right, hold on. I gotta turn my. Gotta turn my camera around.

[01:25:48]

Wait.

[01:25:48]

Can the old business guy figure it out?

[01:25:52]

No, nobody knows. How do I turn it around?

[01:25:55]

Oh, no, you're gonna have to just do it the manual way.

[01:25:58]

I am. That's here, hold on. Let me turn it around sideways.

[01:26:01]

Okay.

[01:26:02]

And then let's just turn it around this way.

[01:26:04]

Ladies and gentlemen, we have the big Texan. We got cheez its fritos. Those look like.

[01:26:10]

Oh, chili cheese fritos are one. One.

[01:26:12]

Oh, no.

[01:26:12]

Cool ranch burritos.

[01:26:13]

We got cheese fix munchies.

[01:26:15]

Okay, we got the.

[01:26:17]

Ooh, there's the misses freshlies again. Guys, I have terrible news.

[01:26:20]

No big Texas. I think that.

[01:26:22]

Are you gonna be able to survive the flight back? No cinnamon roll.

[01:26:25]

Pull out to reveal. Guys, can we see everything?

[01:26:27]

Yeah, we see everything. I think you gotta go chili cheese fritos. And I would go.

[01:26:33]

I would go chili cheese fritos, maybe cool ranch Doritos. And then the Miss freshlies.

[01:26:39]

I'm just wandering around the FBo here now. Now I'm just gonna sit on this leather couch in this bright light and just say what a sad thing it is that there's no big Texas.

[01:26:48]

This is.

[01:26:49]

We're gonna speak. We're gonna have to speak to the folks here.

[01:26:52]

There's.

[01:26:53]

I did run into my. The youngster that gave me the gross of big Texas last year at the PGA, and he's like, literally, I think he's like a big Texas drug dealer. I think he just has them because he was. I swear to God, he was going to meet me with, like, a case of them, and I was like, I'll be honest with you, I'm all good.

[01:27:15]

More of a. Once a year.

[01:27:17]

He was ready to deliver the goods. I think I'm going to get the chili cheese Fritos, though.

[01:27:23]

Those are good.

[01:27:23]

Although big Texas, that would be a great nickname for Scotty.

[01:27:26]

Yeah.

[01:27:27]

He's big Texas.

[01:27:28]

He's a big Texas.

[01:27:29]

Yeah, that's it.

[01:27:32]

How poetic is that?

[01:27:33]

I know, I know. I know his guy. I know his guy. Blake. I'll get on the. I'll get a shoot a note directly to him and say, we've got.

[01:27:40]

Pft.

[01:27:41]

Says, let's get the big Texas thing sorted out and probably a great, great opportunity to make some dough there.

[01:27:49]

Scotty's guy is Blake. Scotty's guy is Blake.

[01:27:52]

Blake of the year.

[01:27:53]

Damn.

[01:27:54]

That's.

[01:27:54]

He's got it all. He's got a Blake.

[01:27:56]

Yeah.

[01:27:56]

He's got figured out.

[01:27:57]

Is that couch the casting couch?

[01:27:59]

Even though that. Yeah. Say again?

[01:28:02]

Is that couch the cat? The casting couch couch?

[01:28:05]

Whoa. No, I think the pilots come in here and hang out.

[01:28:13]

Well, last question, Scott. As someone who loves to take the points, march madness, not so great.

[01:28:22]

I mean, I needed to do. I needed to do. How about port noise?

[01:28:26]

Yeah, pretty good. He's a sharp. Now, the fact that he also gets to say he was. He had a tweet when Morocco was on 18, and he was like, big battle for third place money, aka port no money, because that. He won more, I think, than the third place guy at the Masters this week.

[01:28:46]

Well, let me just tell you, as a guy that likes to take points like, you got, UConn has won twelve straight by, they've covered them all and they've been laying points in all of them. For, for a guy who's like, take the plus sign, you end up with a big minus sign. It's been, I've been on the struggle bus pretty mightily. I just, I'm just going to tell you important because you, you guys are apparently printing dough.

[01:29:08]

Yeah. I mean, we had our Scott Facetimes me like two minutes before the tip off of the first game every year in March madness. Like, there's nothing better than this. And then I think it was a record this year. I think it was 3 hours that you texted me back. You're like, there's nothing worse than this. This is terrible.

[01:29:24]

Literally, I facetimed it was like 1153. It was the most. And that was like, like, am I lying, big cat? I mean, there was the joy in both of our, like, it was sincere joy and it was by the, like, by the 250 window, I'm like, it's all, it was all alive.

[01:29:40]

It sucks.

[01:29:41]

It was all alive. And then it, but you want. What are you talking about?

[01:29:44]

I know, I know, I know. The Yukon, you can't save my tournament. I know, I know. Well, Yukon winning it all made it a bad tournament for me.

[01:29:53]

Wow. So, you know, I, like, I had a total, I've had a total 180 on Hurley. I thought he was a complete, I thought he was a lunatic. And he kind of is. But I love, I love him.

[01:30:03]

He's the best. He's the best. Cause you know what it is? College basketball needs those type of guys. Like, that's what college basketball was for so long. The payims kid, like these guys that are crazy and yelling at people. Hurley is the new, he's old school. Like, we need someone to carry the torch.

[01:30:21]

But if you think about it honestly, like, his dad was a legend, his brother's Bobby Hurley. And he's like this guy that's kind of a hothead Stephen hall or whatever. And you're like, yeah, you're that other guy. Well, I mean, that's a lot to fight uphill on, right? And now, like, and he was honest. He came on the show and talked about imposter syndrome and all this stuff. And now it's like, now, I mean, I don't, we totally, we've lost the plot here. I'm sorry.

[01:30:44]

I'm talking. You're right.

[01:30:46]

I really, I don't know. It's been a fun few weeks in sports, and I'm hope I'm happy my house isn't on fire this year, and I'm, you know, I'll come on again. You all. You only ask once a year, but.

[01:30:57]

Yeah, no, you come on again. Yeah, we'll do it this summer. And by the way, your boy Steve, he had a great showing at wing night. We do it every final four. So you can rest assure that he. He showed up. He showed up.

[01:31:09]

Showed up big time.

[01:31:10]

Put down a bunch of wings.

[01:31:11]

Titus did not have a great show.

[01:31:13]

Titus got beat, by the way.

[01:31:14]

Titus got put on the three day DL.

[01:31:16]

His tummy hurt.

[01:31:17]

His tummy hurt real bad stuff here. Real bad.

[01:31:20]

Real bad.

[01:31:20]

He said on Friday night, he was like, I beat the wings. Because we all went out, and then on Saturday, we looked like a ghost. He was sitting on the toilet all day.

[01:31:30]

Wait, can I ask one. Ask one question on the way out? I need PFt to weigh in on something.

[01:31:34]

Huh?

[01:31:34]

If you.

[01:31:35]

If.

[01:31:35]

If you have a dinner and you have a credit card roulette, but one person leaves before, like, how. What should happen for that? Like, what should be. How, just how should that be handled among the group?

[01:31:47]

That's a good question.

[01:31:48]

I think. I think their name should go in the hat.

[01:31:50]

What if the person.

[01:31:51]

And then. Yeah.

[01:31:52]

Somebody there covers it, and then they have to venmo you back.

[01:31:54]

Yeah, what if, also, you forgot to mention that the credit card roulette was not said before that person.

[01:32:02]

Is this a personal thing?

[01:32:03]

Yeah.

[01:32:03]

I want to know that they didn't bail on the credit card. They didn't know it's gonna be credit card roulette. So that's fair. You didn't. But I just.

[01:32:11]

In general, I love credit card roulette. Ii, of all people. Like, you know that. I love that. Like, you know, all or nothing after a dinner. There's nothing better than that. So I love.

[01:32:24]

But you missed out on. You missed out on credit card and handing. Handing out.

[01:32:30]

Made mistakes.

[01:32:31]

Right under the eye, in the sky.

[01:32:33]

Guess what? My kids won't remember any of this shit. They won't remember the time I took a red eye back from Vegas to get there early.

[01:32:39]

That's a good point.

[01:32:40]

Like, there's.

[01:32:41]

That's probably the most surveilled place in America.

[01:32:43]

Oh, yeah.

[01:32:43]

Where. Where I did that.

[01:32:45]

You know, I think you're probably not the only dude that did. And I think it. You know what? As the catch all is always, it's fine. Everything's fine.

[01:32:53]

Everything's fine.

[01:32:54]

Okay. Fine.

[01:32:55]

Yeah.

[01:32:56]

Also, it's not like I have an image to uphold that involves not using drugs.

[01:33:01]

I think that's. We just assume that's part and parcel of the whole thing here, if any.

[01:33:05]

Yeah.

[01:33:05]

If anything, it would have been good for my brand to get arrested.

[01:33:07]

It's the beauty of. It's the beauty of working for Barstool. I always tell this story where people are like, oh, what's like? Well, maybe it was like eleven years ago, Trent, who's a good friend of ours, golfer, foreplay pod. He got a public intoxication ticket, so he just didn't show up for work on a Friday. Dave was just mad that he didn't blog his mug shot right when he got out of jail. That was why he got in trouble. He's like, why the fuck didn't you block it?

[01:33:34]

Right.

[01:33:34]

If any. If any place is gonna. Is gonna like, benefit from the book, from the mug shot.

[01:33:39]

Yeah.

[01:33:39]

I think this still have his mug shot as his own.

[01:33:43]

I think he changed it. It was a good. Yeah, it. Listen, St. Louis.

[01:33:49]

Yes.

[01:33:49]

St. Lunatics came on. It wasn't his fault.

[01:33:53]

Rumpleman.

[01:33:54]

Yeah.

[01:33:54]

Rumpelman, St. Luna.

[01:33:55]

Yeah. All right.

[01:33:56]

Well, Scott, thank you as always. Wait, we got to get you out Chicago, too. You got to come to do the simulator. We've been talking.

[01:34:01]

I was thinking about it.

[01:34:03]

Yeah.

[01:34:03]

For a Cubs game. And we'll do the whole thing.

[01:34:06]

I'd love that. And I'm psyched you boys are out there. And it's always great to be all with you.

[01:34:10]

Yeah, good.

[01:34:10]

Thank you, Scott. You're the best, man.

[01:36:49]

Okay, let's wrap up the show with a little NBA talk. We'll have our guy Racil on. I think we're having JJ Reddick on soon to talk in more detail. NBA playoffs, but we have it set. The Celtics are the one seed. They've been the one seed for like a month. The thunder of the one seed in the west, the upstart young thunder, who are very, very good. And then we have some play in action with the LeBron's got to play in. Steph's got to play in. The Bulls got to play in. The Sixers got to play in against the Heat. So I don't know where you guys want to go. Do we want to say predictions that are probably stupid and will look dumb?

[01:37:26]

Yeah, I got one.

[01:37:27]

Okay.

[01:37:28]

I like the magic in the first round. Oh, little small upset there over the Cavs.

[01:37:32]

The Cavs are better at home, so it's good they got their home court.

[01:37:36]

Yep.

[01:37:37]

But, yeah, and also we had home court. We had, we had seeding drama on Sunday. The Knicks and Tibbs got clinched the second seed. The Bucks maybe were just trying not to get the second seed because the second seed in the east feels like dangerous having to play maybe the orange. You'll have to play the Sixers or the Heat, which is a pretty good team in both of them. But also, Tibbs will never not play all his starters and play game 82 like it's game seven of the NBA, you know, finals.

[01:38:08]

That's what Tibbs does.

[01:38:08]

I like the Sixers to beat the Heat. I also like the Sixers to beat the Knicks. And then I like the Sixers to beat the Bucks.

[01:38:15]

I do actually like that the Knicks, like, tried because I think that there, you should, you should have some pride and be like, we're not ducking anyone. We're going to try to, you know, we've had a great season. Let's get home court. If we can win this round, we get home court second round, which does matter for, for the Knicks. I, it would be cool, though, if teams could pick who they play.

[01:38:34]

Yeah.

[01:38:34]

Because you would not, you would not want to play against the Sixers.

[01:38:37]

Right. And if you, if you did a draft like the. The NBA loves ratings and doing new things, two new things the NBA should do. They should do a draft of the top four seeds get to pick who they get to play in the first round. And also there should just be an automatic Wemby makes the playoffs clause.

[01:38:53]

Yeah.

[01:38:53]

He gets added to his. What team would wend be?

[01:38:56]

I want to see him so bad in the playoffs. He's so, he's such a fucking freak and it's insane.

[01:39:01]

Him.

[01:39:01]

Did you see that game on Friday night when he was just splashing threes and just.

[01:39:05]

He's an alien and his logos.

[01:39:07]

Awesome. And he should have been. He should be in the playoffs. We should just make a Wemby gets to be in the playoffs clause in the NBA bylaws.

[01:39:14]

I agree. So in the East, I think it's the Celtics.

[01:39:17]

Congrats.

[01:39:17]

Hank.

[01:39:18]

Hank, how are you feeling?

[01:39:19]

I'm excited. I'm very excited. Very, very excited. Championship or bust?

[01:39:23]

Yeah.

[01:39:25]

Championship or bust. And the east you're going to walk through because Giannis is hurt. The Knicks are great season, but I think the cells are a better team. Sixers, you never have to worry about them. The Heat. No, no.

[01:39:40]

I mean, I like, I would like to beat the heat just for, you know, the storyline sake, but I'm not concerned about him. I think we would roll so there's.

[01:39:47]

No one that worries.

[01:39:48]

I don't even want to waste time with the fucking Bulls or 76 years. Like, I hope that the play ins work out where we don't to play when you guys just cuz, like it's just gonna be a pointless wait.

[01:39:56]

You hold on. Back up. The 76 and Bulls are not exactly on the same in this in terms.

[01:40:04]

Of opponents of the Celtics, but the.

[01:40:06]

Bulls are not good, neither 76 or sixers.

[01:40:08]

The 76 ers or 76.

[01:40:09]

Six.

[01:40:10]

Eric. The Sixers are in this spot because Joel Embiid missed two months. The Bulls are in this spot because they're not a very good team.

[01:40:18]

Better winning percentage than the Celtics when Embiid and Maxi both play.

[01:40:21]

Whoa. Is that true?

[01:40:24]

What's that, like five games? Is it now it's like 32 games.

[01:40:29]

Oh, that's.

[01:40:30]

Yeah, no, the six guys fucking.

[01:40:33]

So you just lumped the Bulls in the Sixers in the same spot? I'm going to say no, that's not true.

[01:40:37]

I'm just saying in terms of the show and you guys doing the whole.

[01:40:39]

Like, oh, what if the Bulls are not going to lose the Sixers? The Bulls aren't going to win anything either. Will this I like. I'd be if the Bulls win the plan. Great. But I also hate Jerry reinvest so much, I don't want him to pretend that they made the playoffs.

[01:40:55]

The Sixers are a problem. I'm just going to say it. I agree with Max.

[01:40:58]

For Max.

[01:41:00]

No, the Sixes are a problem for you.

[01:41:02]

I think. Would that not be the worst?

[01:41:04]

I think the Sixers, the Knicks, and I think they could beat the Bucks because Doc Rivers is pulling a major doc Rivers right now. We might not have ever seen a doc Rivers perform at such a high doc Rivers level as he's done this year. The Bucks are not a good team right now. The Sixers are.

[01:41:20]

Giannis.

[01:41:20]

Really good.

[01:41:21]

Yeah.

[01:41:21]

And Yanis, how, how late would you sleep in if the Sixers beat the.

[01:41:25]

Celtics this the entire summer?

[01:41:28]

Eight.

[01:41:29]

One two.

[01:41:29]

So you don't want this. I think you that see what I'm saying when you said bull, we don't want to do the thing with the Bulls and Sixers. I think one's a little different than.

[01:41:37]

The other, I guess, but it would just be a. You would not.

[01:41:42]

Fast forward.

[01:41:42]

Give me to the finals. This is, this is, this is championship contending teams. First round, just second round, dominate. Get to Eastern Conference finals. Finals as the one seed. You do not want to see the Sixers as the eight, like, at all. I guess I don't. Yeah, I don't think it really matters, but, but it, like, the Sixers are for sure. For sure better than the Bulls. Like, you would win in four against, against the Bulls without even having to play your guys. I think we'd win for no way.

[01:42:12]

Sounds like a sweet bet to me.

[01:42:14]

Wow.

[01:42:15]

So need to beat the heat.

[01:42:17]

Explain it.

[01:42:17]

Explain against me. Because I forget every single year how the seven 8910 lane system works. So how would the sixers end up being able to be the eight?

[01:42:26]

See, if they lose to the heat on Wednesday night, and then they beat the hawks of the Bulls. Okay, so the. The Bulls and the Hawks. And then on the other side, the Kings and the warriors cannot get higher than the AC. Right. The Bulls can't get to the 7th seed. The warriors can't get to the 7th seed. It's the winner of the, of the, the six or seven. Eight becomes a seven seed, and then they have to play the winner of the 910. And that's to decide the eight seed. Right. So, okay, so we're rooting, rooting for.

[01:42:56]

The heat to beat the sixers and then the sixers to beat the Hawks or the Bulls.

[01:43:01]

Correct.

[01:43:01]

And then they get to, although I'll.

[01:43:02]

Be rooting for the Bulls. If they play the sixers, I will. Sorry, Max, because that would also be very funny if the Sixers just didn't even make the playoffs.

[01:43:11]

I honestly wouldn't hate that. Like, I would just be like, all right, fine, I don't have to. I thought no one wants to see this.

[01:43:16]

Yeah, the sixers don't even want to see this.

[01:43:19]

That just flips. Now, I know that that won't happen. You're basically right. You're essentially right back into the Big east tournament.

[01:43:26]

Kinda. No, but the Sixers are good. Like the six.

[01:43:29]

No, it's totally just get hurt. Like two nights ago.

[01:43:34]

Yeah, but he finished that game.

[01:43:37]

Okay.

[01:43:37]

The way dropped like 34 in like 20 minutes.

[01:43:40]

Okay.

[01:43:40]

The west.

[01:43:41]

The west is more. The west is basically. You could be like, the thunder are really, really good, but they're too young.

[01:43:47]

So I was thinking about this. They are young, but everyone's saying they're too young. They might be too young to know.

[01:43:52]

How young they are, but the NBA is kind of the one league where it does, it's. It does feel like you got to take your lumps. You know, all the, all the championship teams had their lumps. They took their lumps, then they climbed back up, got over the mountain.

[01:44:08]

I'm not saying.

[01:44:08]

Yeah, no, I agree. It is just the two young. Like, they're really good.

[01:44:11]

I'm not saying they get to the finals.

[01:44:14]

Awesome.

[01:44:15]

They.

[01:44:15]

They can win a couple series and we're going to have this conversation, I predict, in like three weeks where it's like, nobody told the Thunder they weren't.

[01:44:22]

Supposed to win this series.

[01:44:23]

Yeah.

[01:44:23]

You know, they're too young now.

[01:44:25]

Yeah, exactly. So you're too young until you prove that you're not. I think I like the Nuggets a lot. I think it's theirs to lose there. It seems like we're on a crash.

[01:44:34]

There's just help.

[01:44:34]

Celtics Nuggets. There's no. You can't defend against the Nuggets when they're playing. Like, you can't.

[01:44:39]

When.

[01:44:39]

When Jokic is even having like a b game or like a c plus game. All it takes is one of the other guys to step up a little bit, and he's just such a problem to solve, especially if you're trying to defend him. And when they get going on the pick and roll, like, there's no. There's no real way to stop them.

[01:44:54]

Yeah.

[01:44:54]

So I feel like the Nuggets and the Celtics are just kind of both inevitable.

[01:44:58]

Yeah.

[01:44:58]

It feels like the entire west is just basically health because the Nuggets have dealt with injuries. It's. It's health. And the two young Thunder Nuggets have dealt with injuries. Carl Anthony Towns is coming back to Clippers are always injured. I like the Mavs. The Mavs have been playing great. The Suns are always injured. It's just, who can stay healthy? And then LeBron and then LeBron.

[01:45:20]

We.

[01:45:20]

I would like to see LeBron in the playoffs.

[01:45:22]

Of course. I would also like to see LeBron.

[01:45:24]

Not make the playoffs. That also.

[01:45:26]

Either way.

[01:45:27]

Yeah, both ways would be funny. So what do we have for the finals? Nuggets versus Celtics.

[01:45:32]

Nuggets. Celtics. Nuggets over. Celtics in five.

[01:45:37]

I'm gonna go Celtics over sons.

[01:45:39]

Oh, cuz you don't want the Nuggets.

[01:45:40]

Yeah, you're scared in five. You're like Embiid. You're Freddie Jokic.

[01:45:44]

What are we gonna do about this bet. I listeners the show know I parlayed Scotty Scheffler and the Nuggets to win the title. I now have the Nuggets to win the title at 21 to one.

[01:45:55]

We are gonna table this conversation till May 20, which is started the conference finals.

[01:46:01]

Then we can have.

[01:46:02]

Then we can have a discussion.

[01:46:03]

I'll cash out right now because I love you so much.

[01:46:06]

I think that would be dumb to cash out right now because it might not matter.

[01:46:09]

Okay. All right.

[01:46:11]

May 20. So you have reminder, you have nuggets.

[01:46:14]

Over or you have Celtics over sons.

[01:46:17]

In how many games?

[01:46:18]

Five.

[01:46:19]

You're in fantasyland.

[01:46:20]

I have nuggets.

[01:46:21]

Yeah.

[01:46:21]

I have Nuggets, Mavericks, Western Conference final.

[01:46:25]

Max homo.

[01:46:26]

You hear his quote?

[01:46:28]

What do you say when things are going bad? I try not to think about what's going bad. I try and dream about what could happen.

[01:46:34]

Are you doing a lot of drying recently?

[01:46:35]

I dreaming. Scotty Scheffler.

[01:46:39]

I'm just dreaming about. I'm dreaming about not having to play the Nuggets and just dominating the suns in five. That's what I'm dreaming about.

[01:46:46]

Okay.

[01:46:46]

Yeah.

[01:46:47]

I mean, with injuries could happen.

[01:46:50]

Anything could happen. The play.

[01:46:51]

Anything could happen.

[01:46:52]

That's the beauty of the play.

[01:46:53]

All right, so you have Celtics over or Nuggets over?

[01:46:55]

Celtics in five.

[01:46:56]

Okay. I have nuggets over Celtics and seven, Max.

[01:47:01]

Sixers over clippers and six.

[01:47:03]

Okay, nice. We will do a full NBA preview when we, when we get the full playing games. I'm excited for the playing game.

[01:47:12]

I mean, what I think is gonna happen in the west, we're gonna see Lakers warriors in a playing game.

[01:47:18]

Oh, so the Lakers would lose.

[01:47:21]

Yeah.

[01:47:21]

Warriors would win that.

[01:47:22]

Yeah.

[01:47:22]

For the rating.

[01:47:23]

For the ratings.

[01:47:24]

Yeah.

[01:47:24]

The Kings have been sliding back and they're not.

[01:47:26]

We're not lighting the beam this year.

[01:47:28]

No, we're not. They also have this, like, they have, like, a couple guys, and then everyone else is like, ooh, who's that? Yeah, not so great.

[01:47:35]

Yeah.

[01:47:36]

Okay, ready for the NBA playoffs, Hank? Championship or bust. This is Hank's mood for the rest of the summer is going to be reliant on it. Would the mood. I feel like the mood would be really bad if you guys lost to the Sixers, you lost in the Eastern Conference final. Would the movie bad if you went to the finals and.

[01:47:53]

Yes.

[01:47:53]

Like, okay, bad. Let's just move.

[01:47:57]

We're.

[01:47:57]

We're just on mood watch. That's why I need to cash out. That's why I need to cash I don't want a mad Hank all summer is not worth it.

[01:48:07]

But here's the thing. It's like, if Hank, if the Celtics do win the championship, Hank, I will be. So Hank's mood is going to be equally bad, just in the opposite direction. You know, he's going to walk around like he's better.

[01:48:18]

Oh, yeah.

[01:48:19]

Yeah.

[01:48:19]

He's going to think he's better than.

[01:48:21]

Hank tried to claim today that he. No one has had as many losses, tortured losses as him. And Max just rattled off. Like these losses in the last twelve months that Hank just stopped. It was like, okay, maybe you.

[01:48:32]

Yeah, he did that. Like, being a Boston sports fan is so hard.

[01:48:38]

Yeah, no, Max is a way bigger loser.

[01:48:40]

I forgot. It is so funny how this, this podcast has really worked out that it's just like PFT and are such losers that, like, doesn't phase us. It doesn't even sniff. No, no. Like, I don't get such big losers that we are. We're not even losers anymore. It's like non fact.

[01:48:56]

I don't even get kept saying you.

[01:48:58]

Would, you would make this bet in a heartbeat. I said you would never have a team that says, like, this much of a favorite to win a champion.

[01:49:04]

Talk to me in two weeks when I get Kale Williams. Talk me in two weeks then.

[01:49:07]

Oh, dude, Hank, you're going to hate us so much when we have two elite quarterback.

[01:49:11]

And in the next 15 years, statistically speaking, we're both going to have elite quarter.

[01:49:15]

Really good.

[01:49:16]

Yeah.

[01:49:16]

It's going to be first two pitch to change. This entire. The entire course of the podcast is going to change.

[01:49:22]

Yeah.

[01:49:22]

This is title town. This desk right now.

[01:49:24]

How many NFC championships do you think.

[01:49:25]

Will match up in between the two of us?

[01:49:27]

Probably like five or six.

[01:49:28]

I'd say five of the next six could be incredible.

[01:49:31]

Yeah, it's gonna be like Seahawks 49 ers.

[01:49:33]

Yeah.

[01:49:34]

Going back and forth with buyer tickets.

[01:49:36]

For it at the start of every season.

[01:49:37]

Oh, man, I hope it happens.

[01:49:39]

No, you don't.

[01:49:39]

They don't.

[01:49:40]

They do.

[01:49:40]

You just won't. You just want to win and watch us lose. Just not even be enough. You don't even want us to be good enough to have heartbreaking loss.

[01:49:47]

No, just give me, give me, give me basketball. You guys can have football.

[01:49:50]

Give Hank basketball. And Marvin.

[01:49:52]

And hockey. I'll take hockey.

[01:49:55]

Well, yeah, we're going to have Whitney Abyss on Marvin.

[01:49:58]

The thing about Marvin Harrison junior, also, he's going to want to get the fuck out of New England so fast if he doesn't have a quarterback.

[01:50:04]

Well, he's gonna ask for a second contract, like, the first day. You ready to give it to him? You gotta watch the tape.

[01:50:11]

You don't, can't you? You have to wait till I do.

[01:50:14]

I do. I will back Hank up on this. Hank is doing something that I do all the time in swears. Then we all do it. You see one guy one time, live.

[01:50:24]

Yeah.

[01:50:24]

And he's the greatest player. He saw Marvin Harrison against Wisconsin in camp Randall, and he ran across the entire field for. And caught, like, a four yard pass, then took it to the house for a touchdown. And at that moment, Hank was like, this is the greatest wide receiver ever. And I completely back you up, because when if I see someone do something live, it's like I've said it before, but I. I thought Luke Canard was going to be the greatest NBA player ever because he dribbled behind his back as a lefty, and I was like, this guy's fucking insane.

[01:50:54]

I mean, Marvin Harrison is awesome. Yeah, he's.

[01:50:56]

And Jacoby Brissette can make that throw.

[01:50:58]

But if he had gone to an LSU game this year, he would be, like, neighbors.

[01:51:01]

Yeah.

[01:51:02]

Well, yeah. Anthony Edwards. I mean, Anthony Edwards and Richardson.

[01:51:07]

Yeah, that. Yeah, the one. You were kind of right on that.

[01:51:10]

Yeah.

[01:51:10]

All right, so. So you. You're. You are a scout.

[01:51:14]

Give me more backing you up.

[01:51:15]

All right, numbers.

[01:51:16]

40, 28.

[01:51:19]

356.

[01:51:20]

1899.

[01:51:23]

Pug, are we never gonna address the 72? 73.

[01:51:28]

Oh, we should probably talk about that real quick. Oh, yeah.

[01:51:31]

Brooks.

[01:51:31]

Oh, he zoned out, didn't get 72, and then shot 73. 73 the first two days.

[01:51:38]

And what number did he get?

[01:51:40]

73 for a score.

[01:51:44]

So we just got. He's got a focus on. He's got focus. It's actually our fault, though, because we should have had the lottery ball pick, like, 68, and then he would have been great.

[01:51:53]

Yeah.

[01:51:54]

And he would have been. He would have won the masters.

[01:51:56]

Yeah.

[01:51:57]

All right, what were the numbers again?

[01:51:58]

Same again. 40.

[01:52:01]

20.

[01:52:01]

318.

[01:52:03]

I just want to hear pugs.

[01:52:05]

99. Pug.

[01:52:06]

Pug, how was your farmers dinner?

[01:52:11]

Delicious.

[01:52:12]

Pug.

[01:52:13]

We were ordering dinner, and you just texted back, and you're like, I got my own food. Food because your stomach ailments? And I was like, yeah, he's just. He's farmers dog. Every day.

[01:52:23]

Special food from the vet, Pug.

[01:52:25]

All right, 56.

[01:52:36]

99.

[01:52:37]

99, Paul.

[01:52:38]

99, Paul.

[01:52:40]

A two time winner.

[01:52:44]

Get in there.

[01:52:46]

That's not 66, right?

[01:52:51]

Get in here.

[01:52:52]

Puzzle pump.

[01:52:53]

I don't think the people have seen. Well, no, you can see, you can see him from the boo. True.

[01:52:58]

Put the.

[01:52:58]

Put the solo blue jacket on him.

[01:53:00]

Got you there. Means just snapped it. Hank. One of the greatest rivalries, in part is memes versus Hank. That we need to do, like, a documentary, maybe when we have a slow PM tv week.

[01:53:11]

Best day means Thursday.

[01:53:14]

We should do a Hank. Hank memes telling of the rivalry.

[01:53:19]

What's the 24/7 Hank first memes? Yeah, Pug, how do you feel?

[01:53:23]

Two time winner. Nope. Your mic's not on. Oh, there we go. It's on.

[01:53:28]

No, it's unbelievable. I'm just.

[01:53:30]

I'm just happy to be here.

[01:53:31]

Lucky to be you and Scotty.

[01:53:32]

Who said that? Who said that? You still say that?

[01:53:36]

Yeah, Pug.

[01:53:37]

Okay, so two time winner like Scotty Scheffler. What are you going to do with. With winning second time?

[01:53:45]

I don't know. They just go to the vet again.

[01:53:48]

Yeah.

[01:53:48]

So some people are saying your system dog, that you can only win on 99. Are you going to switch from 99 or you a stick with a system question?

[01:53:54]

I actually, I thought about it after.

[01:53:55]

The first one, and a lot of people were saying it would be phony to switch from 99, so.

[01:53:59]

Also the merch.

[01:54:00]

Yeah. That would really affect things. They're great shirts.

[01:54:04]

I don't think we ever put those out.

[01:54:06]

We should put them on personally.

[01:54:10]

The best design shirts we've ever made. I don't think we ever put them out.

[01:54:13]

Yeah.

[01:54:14]

Now we're gonna have to.

[01:54:15]

What?

[01:54:17]

Now we have to drop them, pug.

[01:54:18]

Yeah.

[01:54:19]

Okay, well, you didn't say pug after the last one. Um, okay, well, so a pug. Last question. Robot question. Are you a little worried? Because I think this is the week we're getting Mister Pear. So now we're gonna have a pug and a pair.

[01:54:34]

Yeah.

[01:54:35]

Sounds like a podcast.

[01:54:37]

We should just have pug just talking. Interviewing Mister Pear once a week.

[01:54:43]

No, I mean, I'm fine with it. I'm excited to meet him.

[01:54:45]

And, you know, I think.

[01:54:47]

I think it'll be good for the show.

[01:54:48]

Yeah, don't.

[01:54:49]

Don't try to eat it. Yeah, yeah, don't swallow them. No guarantee. Is there anybody that you'd like to thank?

[01:54:56]

Just all the pugs out there.

[01:55:00]

All my dogs.

[01:55:05]

See everyone on Wednesday.

[01:55:06]

Love you guys.

[01:55:17]

Coming for your love of king shining. I'll be coming for your love of kid say. I mean, it's a bad thing to say for. Tell me. Say. I mean, it's a bad thing to say
