You're listening to DraftKings Network. This is the Dan Leviton Show with the Stugats Podcast. Stugats, I told you vaguely when I went to Los Angeles for a couple of weeks and threw everything we're doing around here into unrest, I told you that I was following my brother, my late brother's advice, pushing me toward my discomforts. I just don't like business, I really don't like business. But things have to be done in protection of this building and this business that serve everybody here because we all own a piece of the company. And occasionally, I'm going to have to leave here to go do things. And today, I'm super excited right now because one of those things has arrived. And I want to tell the audience, before I make what is a giant announcement for our show and everything we're trying to do here at Metallark Media and the Draft Kings Network, before I make that announcement, I want to give the long-time listeners of the show the context they need to understand where this journey is ending up because these listeners made us so very valuable that a lot of people want to partner with us on a lot of different things, and we have the freedom to partner with them, and we get to pick and choose who we want to work with and who we want to have around us.

[00:01:38]

So I had to go to Los Angeles, and nothing like this has ever happened to me because Mike Ryan said he recognized it because old Hollywood producer there was meeting with a bunch of people, and they were doing what was called a vibe check, where they come and they meet with you and they see if they vibe with you.

[00:01:53]

Sounds douchey, got to be honest.

[00:01:55]

It.

[00:01:55]

Does. A vibe check.

[00:01:56]

Get over yourself. It does. But wait, let me tell you the story, though, because I didn't realize I was getting vibe checked. I didn't realize that when Matt Barnes showed up with his crew that they were meeting to see, hey, and these guys, I admire them so much because they're just a deeply authentic brand at a media time that very few brands are authentic. The idea that these guys can still have this power and street credibility because everyone knows those dudes are real. For Matt Barnes to come into... So my brother is pushing me toward the discomfort. And I'm doing shows in California. I don't want to be doing it. It's deeply uncomfortable. Everything we're doing. We're doing them in Adam McKay's office. For Matt Barnes to come in with his people, for them to size me up and for the thing that they wanted to talk about to be my father, okay? To be my father, when I'm trying to live in service of my late brother, and he's pushing me toward... I'm telling you, over time here, I will tell people all of the lengths I'm going to to try to stay connected to my late brother in the spiritual, artistic ways that I admired about him so very much.

[00:03:14]

But it's made me unstable, wildly unstable, what has happened over the last 18 months in a way that I don't think anybody around here is familiar with. And it's to birth things like this. It's in service of announcements like this. We are.

[00:03:28]

Adding- It's pretty perfect that as you're being a rambling man, you look like a member of the.

[00:03:32]

Allman Brothers.

[00:03:34]

I will stop rambling now and make the announcement.

[00:03:37]

We're the guy from Ghost.

[00:03:39]

We've got Dead Mouse here with us, and he is going to accompany me. Because honestly, I am thrilled, Stugat, to tell everybody that we are teaming up with, we are partnering with, we are teammates now with All the Smoke. With Stephen Jackson, with Matt Barnes.

[00:03:58]

I love.

[00:03:59]

Smoke, Dan. With Rachel Nichols and everything that they bring in here. And we are not about all the smoke. We, like us, our crew doesn't have what this crew has. We are smoke-adjacent and uncomfortable and coughing. Yes, we are not all the smoke people.

[00:04:24]

We are some of the smoke.

[00:04:25]

We don't want all the smoke. We want occasional smoke if it's easy and it doesn't actually result in a fight. Matt Barnes will fight you. Stephen Jackson will fight you. Stephen Jackson will get banned from the League for fighting you.

[00:04:38]

I don't know what you're talking about, Dan. I am someone who loves all of the smoke.

[00:04:42]

It is not all of the smoke.

[00:04:44]

Well, no, but all of the smoke. Bring the smoke on to me, Dan.

[00:04:49]

It's all the smoke.

[00:04:51]

I'm right at home. This is very exciting, Dan. Very, very exciting. They give us credibility that we don't have, to be quite frank with you. And so I'm very excited that they're my teammates. This is amazing. Do they consider me a.

[00:05:09]

Teammate or no? I think so. We will ask Matt Barnes in a little bit here. But Mike Ryan is very eagerly telling Dead Mouse behind us to fire off more smoke in here. Yeah, but.

[00:05:20]

It's like Fog Allen Fieldhouse in here.

[00:05:22]

Oh, there's smoke in there.

[00:05:24]

I get it. Tony can't see the signaling from Mike Ryan, though.

[00:05:30]

Because-he's got a.

[00:05:30]

Costume on. Because, yes, he's got a head on. Now we are going to set off the smoke alarms in here because the room is filled with fire and Tony's not getting the cues quickly because he can't see. But in all honesty, Stugart, this is a big thing for us to be able to put on DraftKings Network to be aligned with Rachel Nichols, a gangster journalist, and with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, and the team that they have. To God because these are the front facing guys, but they have an entire team of people. So we really are. This is awesome. I don't say this very often, and I'm giving you the context of the story. Angel Resto has now put on the scream. This is how close to all the smoke we are. This is you and me. Is that a doughnut in the middle of all the steam? Why would I have a doughnut in the sauna?

[00:06:25]

I didn't queue you. It's too much.

[00:06:28]

It is too much. Does two.

[00:06:29]

Guys really have that.

[00:06:30]

Grateful Dead tattoo? It's too much. No, he does not have that Grateful Dead. That is photoshop to make him look better than he does, as we do around here with all things.

[00:06:40]

We're very excited to be partnering up with all the smoke and have them in.

[00:06:44]

Our family. That's me looking better?

[00:06:46]

That is you.

[00:06:47]

How did you do in the vibe test, by the way?

[00:06:49]

Just out of curiosity. I mean, we're teammates now, right?

[00:06:52]

They were testing you out. Barnes, they were doing the vibe test. You thought I was doing the vibe test. No, but Barnes was doing the vibe test, and they still agreed to.

[00:06:59]

Partner with us. Well, because.

[00:07:01]

Of my father.

[00:07:01]

Oh, okay, good. I got to admit, I'm pretty surprised by this.

[00:07:05]

No awkward hugs when you guys dapped up?

[00:07:08]

Well, yeah, because I'm an awkward hugger, and I'm not a good dapper, but I'm not your father who gets spun around into the chest of Ray Lewis who's wearing a mink.

[00:07:16]

It's a shocking announcement that no one saw coming today.

[00:07:21]

Let's move on to other subjects.

[00:07:23]

Not at all. Telegraph? This is good. This is big. I'm happy for us. We look like pros.

[00:07:31]

How can you not be happy for us? This is the beginning. Well, look, man, when we left the SPN, and if you're listening here, you know why we left, how we left. There are a thousand reasons. But you know the last one and what it was in protection of and what it was in defense of. It was in defense of family. These guys and their crew feel like family to them, and they're all in business together. I believe in the idea of that, even though everyone warns me, don't do that. Don't do that. Do not mix business with people you care about. It'll break your heart. For a couple of years, it has, again and again, in the shadows in a way that has affected my performance and has made this show hurt because of it.

[00:08:09]

Do you think in seeing how this announcement is going and your regalia, do you think that there are second thoughts?

[00:08:16]

From them, I don't know how they're going to experience our outfit at all. We're vastly more disorganized.

[00:08:21]

Our literal outfit.

[00:08:23]

Yeah. The Smokes made it look purple in there, and now you're giving off Prince vibes.

[00:08:28]

Yeah, early Prince. Oh, the hat. Early Prince.

[00:08:30]

My hat did fall off again. I did want to get to that-.

[00:08:35]

Careful, Chris. Very litigious estate.

[00:08:37]

It is. I want to get to this Kevin Durant sound. And I.

[00:08:42]

Want- Stugatz has never been more helpful than with that hat.

[00:08:45]

He loves me. Stugart's does love me.

[00:08:48]

He's in a sensitive place right now, guys.

[00:08:50]

Yes. I'm crying on every platform we have. I'm trying to figure out how to give the tell-all interview to Stugart's on Stupaudity and what to call it.

[00:08:59]

Please do.

[00:08:59]

I mean. Yeah, stew, bitches, sessions. I'm trying to figure out what to call Stupaudity. I'm being session. Yeah, something where I give the exclusive on what the horror of my life has been. Just tears and tears, where Stugaz is doing a serious interview and just offering me tissues the entire time.

[00:09:16]

You'll have to tell me what questions to ask. Yeah.

[00:09:20]

Kevin Durant, you were saying.

[00:09:22]

Yes, I was. Thank you, Mike. Just play the sound of- We had.

[00:09:25]

Another big one.

[00:09:26]

Last night. Yes, KD is-.

[00:09:27]

So you're acknowledging it's a big one.

[00:09:29]

Well, there are spots to be. We got you.

[00:09:32]

Let's listen to Kevin Durant when he is asked. Let's listen to this because I want to get your thoughts on what stands out from Kevin Durant saying who he now thinks is going to win the tournament. My game, sir.

[00:09:43]

Is your pick to win the tournament. I'm going.

[00:09:45]

To go to Lakers since they beat us. They got the size to compete with anybody. They got the quickest flight out of anybody. Most fans.

[00:09:59]

Probably too, right?

[00:10:00]

Most fans out of everybody. So it's set up for them to win. I can't wait to watch the intensity of these games have been incredible. Like I said, I wasn't a fan as they were performing this thing. I'm a huge fan of the end-season and looking forward to watching it. Cavanagh, what do you think was.

[00:10:13]

Key to still.

[00:10:14]

Being-what stands out from that for you?

[00:10:17]

That he's always watching it.

[00:10:19]

I mean-That's it? That's all you took.

[00:10:21]

From that? No, listen, it takes a lot for Kevin Durant. Now, in my personal record book, he does not have these rings. But for a guy who has won a couple with the Golden State Warriors and accomplished a lot in the NBA, for him to be excited about an in-season game, a regular-season game, I guess there's something to it. I'll have to check it out and I'll have to see if I get excited. But it's good to see that Kevin Durant and LeBron James are excited about it.

[00:10:46]

We have made you evolve your career on this. I'll give it a fair chance, I promise. Because if there is any.

[00:10:50]

Athlete- What are.

[00:10:50]

The semifinal? -if there is any athlete in that sport that would take the piss of the in-season tournament, it would be Kevin Durant. He would let all the air out of the excitement. He'd be a hard ass about it. And he admitted at the beginning, I was a hard ass about it, but I came around. So that's great to see.

[00:11:06]

I also have to point out to the audience the difference in context between reading something and seeing it and hearing it for yourself. Because the thing that I took from that quote was him saying they've got the most fans, but he didn't say that. It was volunteered by a sports writer, and then he repeated it. But if he had been volunteering, they've got the most fans, and that's why I want to see them in the tournament, he would be suggesting that the thing is rigged.

[00:11:33]

Semi-finals are tomorrow, stew. Five o'clock, nine o'clock, you could tune in and watch these.

[00:11:37]

Semi-final games. We've got Patriot Stealers. It's a big one.

[00:11:41]

Okay.

[00:11:42]

Patriot.

[00:11:43]

Stealers. Stealers are in the mix. You're probably the patriots are, too. I don't even know.

[00:11:47]

Thanks.

[00:11:48]

It got pretty smoky in there, huh? Yeah. Sorry about that.

[00:11:51]

How did it look? The same.

[00:11:53]

Which is why I kept putting smoke in because it.

[00:11:55]

All looks so big. How did our big, giant announcement look? Chris, Cody, you've been experiencing it. You were at the center of why this business moved to the place that it did and now finds itself on the DraftKings Network with- You're welcome. -all the smoke. How did you experience our giant announcement? How do we handle it as a company?

[00:12:12]

I experienced it that the video did not pick up the smoke as well as I think it was much more smokier in there than it looked on TV.

[00:12:19]

I can't see your eyes.

[00:12:20]

It just looked purple.

[00:12:22]

So we failed.

[00:12:24]

Not the smoke part, but the announcement part. Chef's Kiss. Yeah, we totally. Other than what we revealed at nine o'clock this morning.

[00:12:31]

Don Lebertard. Enough with the DJ Khaled collaborations with people that are hot right now. We want to see DJ Khaled work with some of the great singers of yesterday year. Can you imagine how great it would be if DJ Khaled started bringing out special guests onto the stage? One of them was Brian Adams.

[00:12:50]

Hey, everyone, it's Liza Minale.

[00:12:54]

Stugats. Barbara Streisand. Elton John, it's.

[00:13:00]

Your song.

[00:13:02]

Andrea Boachellie.

[00:13:05]

Another one.

[00:13:06]

Tony Bennett. Freaky Avalon.

[00:13:12]

Thomas Dolby is blinding you with science.

[00:13:15]

This is the Dan Levator Show with the Stoogads.

[00:13:29]

It's time for... Against the spread.

[00:13:36]

It's a big one.

[00:13:37]

This is what people call the nitty gritty. It is title trace in time. We all need to take advantage of the fact that Billy's out of the office this week. He's lead dog. I checked the rankings just yesterday, but because he took the worst time to take vacation, we can all move in line for top dog status.

[00:13:57]

I'm right there, correct?

[00:13:58]

You are right there. Remember, we're giving this prize away at our Miller Light event at Dolphins Ball Vivo Miami, the Miller Light stage. It's all presented by Miller Light and dollar shave Club. All ages of fair. Bring your family. We're going to be watching Monday night football. It's a double header that night, by the way. Where's Bucky and Ackerman going to be? Are they going to be here in Miami for Titans Dolphins? Are they going to be in New York for Packers Gians? Who knows? Really not that important. We'll find out together on December 11th.

[00:14:28]

Where would you want to be if.

[00:14:29]

You were them. I'm going to be offended if they're in New York.

[00:14:32]

We'll find out together, December 11th. I don't want to confuse all of that with against the spread. Yeah, do it. Against the spread. Of course, every week brought to you by DraftKings sportsbook. Use code Dan when you sign up on the app for a limited time offer for new customers. Dan, you are in last place. I think mathematically eliminated. We begin with you, you loser.

[00:14:56]

Well, why would you do it with me if I'm mathematically eliminated?

[00:14:59]

Just play against the spread.

[00:15:02]

Just.

[00:15:02]

Getting your pic out of the way.

[00:15:05]

I don't really want to do it, but that's fine. I'll take the Raptors tonight against the heat. How dare you. Well, without Bam, I'm going to take the Raptors. I hope they make it. -to win on the road.

[00:15:17]

Against the spread.

[00:15:18]

They're minus three and a half. The Raptors are at home.

[00:15:21]

All.

[00:15:22]

Right, Stugat, big week for you.

[00:15:25]

It is. It's a big week. I am right on Billy's heels. But, Mike, this weekend is the biggest game, dare I say the biggest game of the season. It is army. It is Navy. And as much as I love myself and I love winning things for myself, I love the military more. I love our country even more. I love the red, white, and blue. I am going to take both army and Navy. How about that?

[00:15:58]

Against the trips.

[00:16:00]

This is unprecedented. You're putting your country.

[00:16:03]

Before you. I am no losers, just winners in the Army-Navy game.

[00:16:07]

Can you bet as a bonus, like a tie or overtime or something?

[00:16:12]

They're both winners, Dan. I know, you tell one of those teams, they're losers. I dare you.

[00:16:17]

Go ahead. I keep trying to put Coles and his love for the military, and you keep getting rebuffed.

[00:16:21]

I took Army and Navy. Wow.

[00:16:23]

You know what this means? It means you're.

[00:16:25]

Going to lose.

[00:16:25]

It means I'm going to two and out.

[00:16:28]

No, it doesn't. It's a bonus game. It means you're going to go 1-1 for sure.

[00:16:33]

No, no, no. No losers, Dan. Just a winner.

[00:16:36]

But you're going to go one-and-one against the spread. But he's.

[00:16:41]

Going two-and-a-n-one in the hearts of many. Exactly right.

[00:16:44]

But he gets a win no.

[00:16:45]

Matter what. Yeah, but he's giving up the ability to win.

[00:16:48]

The prize is being given up. We all understand the sacrifice that he's making for our truths.

[00:16:52]

Thank you for your service to God.

[00:16:53]

It's a win-win.

[00:16:53]

Okay, I don't think you understand that, but that's okay. We continue on. Against the spray. Thank you for your services. I'm going to cut right to it. There's no following that. I'm going to take the under in Jacksonville, Cleveland. It looks like Joe Flacko versus C. J. Bethard. I actually do think there is a quarterback on Jacksonville's roster that I hope we see because I saw him in plenty of CFL games that I bet on last year, Nathan Rork for BC Lions. I rate him incredibly and I know what C. J. Bethard is. But until they figure that out for themselves, I'm going to take unders. Against the spread.

[00:17:24]

You're getting better, though. You know that.

[00:17:26]

You're getting better. I'm going with the new Iowa. I'm taking the under in the Patriot Steeler's game on Thursday night, under 30. The Patriots will never go over again. It's a big one.

[00:17:35]

I am the spread.

[00:17:36]

Wait, is that the spread? Am I allowed to do it?

[00:17:39]

Yeah, you're fine. You never.

[00:17:41]

Let me do that. You made me choose numbers the whole time.

[00:17:44]

That's why I lost. That's right. That's two straight totals. Look, we're trying to win. We're not trying to play nice. We're trying to play winner.

[00:17:50]

Well, I don't know who the Jets quarterback is. It might be Zach Wilson or it might be somebody else.

[00:17:56]

They don't either.

[00:17:57]

They're plus five and a half against the Houston Texans. I'm taking the Houston Texans minus five and a half. Good bet.

[00:18:04]

Against the spread. Wow! I cannot wait to find out who.

[00:18:10]

Wins this. Stugart said good bet because Stugart's and Chris Cody, they always, the entire lifetime that I've known them, both of them are people who will bet the Texans in that situation. Whenever you sniff around, they're like, Why are the Texans only favored by five and a half? Those two will always make the bet on the favorite.

[00:18:31]

I don't like this tradition you're starting of every Sunday, mocking Stugat's and I via text with the bets we're going to take. I totally agree. I very rarely, I'm not going to lie, I do take those bets a lot, but I just don't like what you're doing with the text. Don't put me in that category.

[00:18:44]

You often win them. That Lions bet that you won this weekend against the Saints.

[00:18:50]

I bet charges minus five and a half.

[00:18:52]

You often lose them as well because football becomes football. I lose all the time because I bet on football to always be football. The way that football is always football is that I get all the games wrong. Whatever I think is going to happen is not what's going to happen. It's the opposite of that.

[00:19:11]

But what exactly are you claiming me and Chris love to bet? We love to bet big favorites.

[00:19:16]

On the road. You would know that you would bet Jacksonville and the Bengals, in the Cincinnati- I do have the Jacks. Yeah, just whatever. When a team is falling apart like the jets, you're going to take the Texans and say, Football is not going to be football. I understand how this happens, like the emotion of betting. If you're not doing it clinically, I understand how it happens. You're basically betting whatever it is that you're betting because you don't want to lose money and be the idiot who said the jets were going to be football that day. Pretty much. That's what you're doing. You're betting against the idea of, I don't want to watch the jets do football things and then lose by three, and I'm on that side watching that game, all game, and you fear being down 21-nothing in the.

[00:20:02]

First quarter. I will tell you that if I applied it to every bet, I would have taken Oregon over Washington. I did not. I took Washington to win the game outright. How about that?

[00:20:11]

But I don't know why any... That spread continues to confound me. I still don't understand why Washington was a 10-point underdog against the team they'd already beaten.

[00:20:23]

Typically, what Washington did in that spot is unprecedented. We've never seen a team win straight up. When the lower-ranked team is favored by that much, the favorite gets always the dub. The underdog always gets pounded. What Washington did was bucket trend as they've done all season long. It's why I think Pennex should probably be second place to Jordan Travis.

[00:20:48]

The Washington coach, love, when he saw that spread because when you're undefeated, already beat Oregon, you need a chip on your shoulder. He was saying, Hey, even though you're undefeated, even though you already beat Oregon, no one believes in you. Not Vegas, not any fans. No one believes in you. You know who believes in you? Me. That's what a good coach says.

[00:21:07]

Washington has guts. They've been Bucking trends all.

[00:21:09]

Season long.

[00:21:10]

You know who else believed in you, Stugatz? Didn't watch a Washington game all season.

[00:21:15]

That's not fair. I watched the first Oregon game.

[00:21:17]

I have some other things from football I wanted to ask you, Stugart. Did you see or did you feel bad for Ryan Stonehouse and what happened to the Titans Punter? What happens? The Titans Punter had... They lost the game for a number of different reasons, but mostly what happened, Jeremy?

[00:21:38]

I just saw the video.

[00:21:40]

Of what happened to Ryan? Yeah. Okay, well, that was the second punter he got blocked. So here's what happened to the punter of the Titans. The game was lost to- Go. Oh, you guys didn't.

[00:21:50]

See this. I'm just seeing the still image of it. I did see that he had a bad injury. Should I watch it? I don't usually seek those out, but I just googled his name and you see a still image of his leg looking like a V. You don't see that.

[00:22:00]

Happen to a punner very often.

[00:22:01]

I saw the Jordan Travis injury live. Abc didn't mean to show it. They showed it anyways, and I regret it seeing it, and I told my family, Don't go see it. Should I watch this one? Is it that -.

[00:22:11]

I think you can get it. You can.

[00:22:13]

See it.

[00:22:13]

Okay.

[00:22:13]

It's just not fun. Can I unsee it, though? Stugat, I'm not even bringing this before you on a Wednesday, three days after it has has because it was gruesome. I'm bringing it before you because the Titans lost to the in overtime. The reason they lost is because their punter, who was also their holder, had to be replaced for one play by Ryan Tana Hill, who held, and then they missed the extra point. They spent the end of that game with nick Falk punting, punting pretty well, because the punter, not once but twice, got hit that way, Jeremy. The second time it broke his leg in half. But it was twice that he was, and I don't know what happened to the special teams, it was a special team's atrocity, what happened to as his season falls apart. But the the blocker was getting to Stonehouse so fast on both of them, them, that before he could even get the ball off, he was getting getting just because they footballed him. Remember how Sean Taylor did that to a punter and a pro-ball? The punter isn't usually involved in the football. He uses his foot on the ball, but he gets out of the way after that.

[00:23:25]

They blocked the ball as he was throwing it up to Punt it. It wasn't even a blocked blocked It was in the process that they were able to hit the ball before hitting him. Now I just saw the second one. He got flipped upside down on the first one, and then he broke his leg on the second.

[00:23:41]

This poor guy. Football is so weird that I came into God bless football on Monday morning after that Titans game, and I felt bad for Ryan Teno Hill for having to hold kicks. That's what made me sad from all that. That. Ryan. Ryan. The the possibly losing his leg. I was like, Oh, did you see Teno Hill had to hold? That was sad. Sad.

[00:23:59]

I'm stunned that on our show, you guys pay attention to sports, that this fits this neatly into the context of what I'm talking about, where we get used to the carnage so much that you guys weren't even aware that this had happened.

[00:24:14]

It's like, Bad injury. Don't need to see it. I got the gist. The punner's out. Bad injury. Got it.

[00:24:20]

He couldn't get to the tent. They had to carry him. His leg was not working in any way. We need.

[00:24:25]

To make this blue tent mobile. The tent comes out onto the field.

[00:24:29]

Covers the situation. Situation.

[00:24:30]

Bring tent to them. All of a sudden, you see four guys at the corner of the tent running out onto the field, putting it on to them and just like...

[00:24:36]

I'm agreeing with you. At At show, JuJu, do we have to stop with the blue tent being hidden? Let's roll it out there. Let's put sponsors on it. Let's put advertising.

[00:24:46]

I don't get.

[00:24:46]

Into it. Let's put advertising on, This player was hurt. It's brought to you by Penzoil. I've got a.

[00:24:52]

A eventually with the technology of these fields where the field just opens up a hole and the player sinks away and they replace it with other grass. Like a stage, like a really good concert. At some point, all these football fields will be like, Get this injury out of here. Just sinks down, gone, new grass.

[00:25:07]

Never happened. I put it on the the Paul as well. Should footballs just start sponsoring the injuries?

[00:25:12]

Just a beam of light stemming down.

[00:25:14]

From a U. F. O, lift them up. Don't do a television time out and pretend like you care about the.

[00:25:19]

The My own medical center.

[00:25:23]

The worse it is, let's get funeral funeral homes.

[00:25:33]

Don't let me touch that. Ravens could double up the Colts, and they are good against every team except the the That's.

[00:25:40]

A 14-point win there for the Ravens.

[00:25:43]

Yeah, double up. Two touch then.

[00:25:45]

Spugots. I think double up is a score. Score. Like the Colts have 10 and you double them up, you score 20. I don't think double up- That's how you do it. I do it differently. Differently. Okay, I don't think that double them them You explained it to me as if I was supposed to- You.

[00:25:57]

Have your way, I.

[00:25:57]

Have my way. I understand, but that's not technically doubling up. Like, I think you used the phrase wrong or something happened. Double up plus four. Yes. Exactly. Okay, that's what he meant, of course.

[00:26:06]

Two.

[00:26:08]

Touchdowns. You never cease to.

[00:26:09]

Amaze me. He's amazing. He really is. He's breathtaking in his stupidity. This is the the Puget Levator Show with the Stugats. We're going to check in here with Tony in just a second. His top five. Stugats, we've started. You can get out of your phone. We got Tony's top five coming.

[00:26:29]

I was.

[00:26:29]

Texting Tony. We got to be ready for it. I doubt very much that you were texting Tony to be helpful on what his top five is. But since we just started, we just had a segment where we talked about the Titans punter that you guys didn't know was hurt that way.

[00:26:45]

I lied. I was locking in the Raptors, Dad. I'm sorry.

[00:26:49]

Took Dan's against the spread advice, huh?

[00:26:50]

It was a good pick. Unfortunately, I won't count for the championship.

[00:26:55]

Championship.

[00:26:55]

Mathematically.

[00:26:56]

Eliminated You lied because you were speaking. Those things are... Thethere. It's a tell. You're You're lips for moving. My mouth. -your lips were moving.

[00:27:03]

Yes, that is correct. Thank you.

[00:27:04]

You look like an ego, Montoya.

[00:27:06]

Do we have a winner yet on what I look like?

[00:27:08]

A fool.

[00:27:09]

That should be one of the choices. That should be one of the thoughts.

[00:27:14]

Like you're trying. You look like you're trying.

[00:27:18]

Another thing that I think people might not.

[00:27:21]

Have noticed.

[00:27:22]

On Sunday is that at the end of the first half, this this at least in part, you missed the because I don't think that many people cared about Titans Colts. It's one of those games in the middle, and you're like, I don't care about either of those teams. I know what they are. Neither of them are good enough. Get out of here.

[00:27:38]

I don't care about punts.

[00:27:40]

And another game that was like that, though, was Caroline and Tampa, where you just, Oh, man, I don't care. But in that game, something happened that I thought was interesting that I also thought was weird. And I don't have an answer to the question I'm about to ask you. At the end of the first half, Bryce Young had the ball at his own 47-yard 47-yard line, It is is fourth and two at their own 47. What are we doing there? What are we doing? Carolina has the ball. It's the 47-yard line. There are two seconds left on the clock in the half. Two seconds left, fourth, and two. What are we doing there as a team with Carolina and Bryce Young?

[00:28:21]

I would say either the the Mary or just run around and kill the clock. That's it. Go to half.

[00:28:25]

Okay, but why wouldn't you choose choose Mary there?

[00:28:29]

I would. I I hail Mary first.

[00:28:31]

You could not trust the kid and have the recency bias of a Black Friday game happening. This is probably going to be a disaster. Let's just go into the half.

[00:28:40]

To my way of thinking, any functional NFL team is absolutely going hail Mary there. Period, hard stop.

[00:28:48]

Am I getting the ball first to start the second half?

[00:28:51]

Sometimes if you get the ball the second half, they're just like, you know what? We get the ball anyways.

[00:28:55]

We're alive in this game.

[00:28:56]

Game. Has a lot of trouble scoring. Scoring. Is scoring position for that.

[00:29:01]

Yeah, shoot your shot. What happened?

[00:29:03]

He just threw it out of bounds because he doesn't have time or arm strength. I don't know what the answer is. He He did it The answer.

[00:29:10]

Is C. J. Straud. That's the answer.

[00:29:14]

They took the wrong guy.

[00:29:15]

They took the wrong answer.

[00:29:17]

But he already looks like a high school quarterback. If it's he can't reach, add it to the list of problems because I can't believe that that's a thought I had. I don't think it's so. My guess is he can get it there. My guess is they don't trust the offensive line to not get him killed, killed, something that they don't trust that he can get it from the 47-yard line to the end zone without a disaster happening. But I'm like, You can't play football that way. Of course, you're going to win one game all season if that's the faith you have in everything you're doing offensively.

[00:29:47]

Well, they haven't been playing football much of this season in Carolina. Just once.

[00:29:51]

Is Tony ready? Is Tony in position? Tony cannot see. Where is Tony joining us from? I really enjoyed it when he can interact interact with others. Has now gone to the balcony here, and that Ferris wheel, that is outside our studios. We are at the beautiful Elser Hotel every day. It is in the middle of a wonderful, wonderful scenic scenic view, Tony now joins us from out there. Is there anyone around you? Is there any chance that you get interrupted? How are you going to be able to see the phone? Can you see well enough through that head, that dead mouse head, in order to see what you're reading?

[00:30:24]

Well, good question, Dan. There's a lot of people that have asked me if I'm dead dead five, and I've answered, yes, I am dead dead mouth It's going to be tough for me to look, so I'm going to have to have not only the phone close to my teeth, but also the microphone close to my teeth, so I can make sure and see everything at the same time. I'm very excited because...

[00:30:42]

Go ahead. No, I was just going to say... Go ahead. Why are you very excited? I was just going to say it would be time now for your your Dead while top 10, Dead Dead while but I couldn't get the joke out because we don't have timing because I can't see your face.

[00:30:54]

Well, the other thing, too, is I'm performing right over there at the the here in Bayfront Park, Dead Dead While live today at about 4:00 PM.

[00:31:02]

Is that true? No.

[00:31:06]

Really?

[00:31:12]

Number five, it's like, oh, my God, there's a gust of wind that the ears get taken by the gust of wind.

[00:31:20]

Well, be careful. Hold on a second. Get away from that. Take your shirt off. Hold on. Get a little closer. Tony.

[00:31:26]

Yeah, take your.

[00:31:27]

Shirt off. Tony, get real close to the camera. It's okay. Okay. Look, this is a liability issue. Just get real close to the camera and give us your top five as close as you can. Yeah, there you go. Yes, because we don't want you blowing away.

[00:31:41]

Okay, number five, Trevor Lawrence showed incredible leadership, limping a mile to the locker room and not using the cart. Walk it off, kid. Way to go.

[00:31:50]

All right, now back up because I can't tell that he's dressed up like.

[00:31:53]

Dead mouse. Did you see what happened once Lawrence got into the tunnel? He needed nine people to help him get to the locker room. Stupid. Yeah, but he walked off in his own power.

[00:32:02]

Leadership. Leadership. Leadership, I saw Baker Mayfield. I saw him spiked into the turf again and again, playing injured, being a man on behalf of his team. And what happened? They sent him away. Number four.

[00:32:17]

Joe Cool came in and did exactly what Joe Cool does. 23 for 44, 254, two tuddies, a pick, and a 17-point loss to a sub-500 team.

[00:32:28]

Yeah. Is Joe Joe Joe Cool? Can you have two Joe Cools?

[00:32:33]

The original Joe Cool. Come on, Dano.

[00:32:35]

Joe Flacko. Well, that's.

[00:32:37]

Joe Montana. Can Tony like every quarterback?

[00:32:39]

All right. Yeah, I think Joe Montana is the.

[00:32:44]

Original-the final score was not indicative of how close that game was.

[00:32:48]

It was a tight one. Bad pick. Number three.

[00:32:54]

Tony, what just happened there?

[00:32:55]

Jake Browning, huh? Tony, what just happened? No, because I thought Mike was going to do the the Elijah bit where it was Elijah Moore's fault, not Joe Joe fault. I was laying up for Mike there.

[00:33:05]

And on a a.

[00:33:06]

Swiffer, now. Chris, Cody, you guys enjoyed too much when Tony failed.

[00:33:11]

No, it's not failing. I just love a little hiccup. I think it's funny. You know.

[00:33:15]

Me, I love a hiccup. I love a good hiccup.

[00:33:19]

Baster.

[00:33:19]

Number three.

[00:33:22]

Jake Browning, huh? It's almost like if you squinted.

[00:33:26]

It is harder to do this stuff in costume. All All of is harder to do. Number two.

[00:33:34]

Number two, chiefs have gotten cute.

[00:33:36]

This year and.

[00:33:37]

It's going to cost them.

[00:33:38]

The head looking left at the phone and then getting closer to.

[00:33:42]

It's a great visual. I heard for him.

[00:33:44]

Right right now I can't.

[00:33:45]

See it. I I it's hard. I know. I am very sorry for you right now. We put you in an impossible position. Also, we can't see from your face that your confidence is leaking, but we can hear it in your voice.

[00:33:58]

His head almost just blew off.

[00:33:59]

Yeah, my head almost blew off again.

[00:34:03]

You always know what way the wind is blowing because your head gets tilted a certain way. That one was a Northwestern wind.

[00:34:11]

Do you believe that, number one, do you believe that mascot have it tougher than we think they do because there are all sorts of perils involved that you are presently experiencing because the wind up there is stiff and you're getting your head blown around?

[00:34:25]

Yeah, obviously, you know my disdain for mascot, but you know what? This makes me put on a pair of big old Ronald McDonald shoes for a mascot. Let me see what it's like to walk a day in their shoes. Maybe a little bit more leniency for the mascot, Dan. I feel like that's growth for me.

[00:34:40]

Number one.

[00:34:42]

Number one. You know what San Francisco was doing when they went across the country to the link and kicked their ass up and down the field, Dano?

[00:34:50]

Making a a.

[00:34:53]

They were standing on business, baby. That's what they were doing, standing on business.

[00:34:58]

Okay. Why are you guys looking at me.

[00:35:00]

Like that? I like making a statement better.

[00:35:03]

Well, this is how it evolves with the young people. It is making a statement in disguise. It's the same thing.

[00:35:08]

Really?

[00:35:08]

Yes. Well, Well, said it better. Better. Is it anything on This is why we are not all of the smoke. That's what he just did. He's a young person.

[00:35:16]

He almost lost his head again.

[00:35:19]

He almost lost his head again.

[00:35:20]

I feel like holding it down down my chin right here.

[00:35:23]

All right, Tony, get back down here. We're understaffed today, and we need your help down here. We need that incompetence down here instead of up there. I'm going to try and do-Beck to you, Dave. -i'm going to try and do my own top five list to see.

[00:35:35]

If-who competing top top He's never done that before.

[00:35:38]

Amazing. Not now. I need to get ready for it because this has to be done well to see how hard it is to do in a a mascot-costume I've got plenty to talk about. I don't want to talk about football anymore, but we know all the numbers show. If you talk about football, that's all you got to talk about. You don't have to talk about anything else. All of the consultants say it just like that, real jowly. What are we have to do to do do better focus groups? Football. We have to talk about football all the time. Football. We have to talk about the Hunter and football. Football. I about the Titans, Hunter, Stonehead. And did you see the Cardinals? They had a catch that wasn't a catch. It looked like a catch, but McBride caught the ball and it looked like a catch. And the the said it was a catch, but it wasn't a catch. Yes. And I can just go to draft Kings and say, say, us another $50 million. And they say, say, that's how that happens. Just talk football. Get people who talk football and there's so much action during football.

[00:36:34]

God bless football.

[00:36:36]

That's right. God bless football. That's exactly right. What is happening?

[00:36:39]

Check it out on Prime. I'm on Max. Excuse me. I was thinking about Coach Prime. I was. I'm sorry. It's not on Prime. It's not on Max.

[00:36:45]

I deserve it. You got.

[00:36:46]

Your own deal with Prime.

[00:36:48]

I mean, no one got to to do.

[00:36:49]

A I.

[00:36:50]

Mean, go go sit the the penalty I deserve it five minutes.

[00:36:53]

I'll see you guys later. Later. If on DraftKings Network.

[00:36:55]

You.

[00:36:55]

Need me to pay pay money You have a lower third graphic. They rate.

[00:36:58]

You so highly. That's very very nice of I love draft Kings.

[00:37:01]

Go get out of here, please. Go sit in the penalty box. Chris Cody, what has the experience been like with Godbless Football this week and wrangling, trying to wrangle wrangle I think, Billy, sprung a surprise on us. Stugats, close the door, please. He wants so desperately to be able to say something to.

[00:37:17]

What you're about to say. I've gotten multiple texts from from this week, planning out 72 different interviews. None of them have actually happened yet. Mike Mike is the one to go to on that. I've learned very quickly what what says means nothing. If If Mike confirms it, then we're actually doing it.

[00:37:32]

Okay, but how do you feel about it all? Because I believe that Billy, this week taking vacation, is taking a mental health break from from I've not been told anything, but I just think all of that seems really.

[00:37:44]

Hard for a producer. He has texted me multiple times this week, just LOL, with no other context.

[00:37:49]

So the mental health break might just be a happy byproduct of vacation.

[00:37:54]

He's laughing at me. He knows that I'm dealing with it this week. I think he's he's his break, if I had to guess.

[00:38:02]

Well, how bad is it, though?

[00:38:03]

Like I said, I'm taking it with a grain of salt. I know the Stugatts monster at this point. I know when he says, buddy, we're going to do this interview at three, this interview at four, this interview at five. I know that probably those aren't going to happen.

[00:38:16]

He wants more of everything.

[00:38:19]

He's a monster.

[00:38:20]

The content's good, though. It was fun doing it on Monday.

[00:38:22]

All right, God bless football on DraftKings Network, exclusively.
