You're listening.

[00:00:02]

To DraftKings Network.

[00:00:21]

God-blessed football, Mikey.

[00:00:24]

God-blessed football, Mikey-A.

[00:00:28]

God-blessed.

[00:00:28]

Football, Stugots. Thankyou. You got it right. Chris got it right, and he's fist-pumping already because you.

[00:00:34]

Got that right. I am super excited.

[00:00:37]

Football, there's just so much football. Yeah, football is great. It is rare where you have, on a Monday, people wanting to talk college football more so than the NFL. That's what you have on this Monday, and that's what you had yesterday on a Sunday. Even while the NFL was going on, people wanted to talk about college football. Crazy, right?

[00:00:57]

I am with you. I don't think I've ever had a Monday where I wanted to talk college football more. And yeah, I mean, F. S. U, can we just start laughing now?

[00:01:06]

Why are you laughing at them? It's not nice, Savine.

[00:01:09]

Laught.

[00:01:10]

Through the pain.

[00:01:11]

Yeah, it made me happy. I did.

[00:01:13]

No, it's not funny.

[00:01:14]

As we'll get to it, I think with Lucy a little bit later, I've been all over the place with this story, but this is sports right here. A committee of mostly white people told us something, and now we just have to live with it.

[00:01:28]

I'm good with it. I mean, not mostly white people part.

[00:01:32]

It's a metaphor for life, really.

[00:01:34]

Well, no, but I'm good with the... I'm good with the... Well, we'll talk about it with Lucy, but I'm good with the playoff they came up with. I am good with that. Just a little tease there. I'm okay with that.

[00:01:43]

I feel like you gave it away. I feel like I.

[00:01:45]

Know how you feel. I did give it away.

[00:01:46]

I'm good with it. You've got to.

[00:01:47]

Be some reasoning, right? I have some reasons behind it. Thank you. But Lucy traveled over the weekend, as she does every weekend, to the SEC Championship Game, Alabama and Georgia. She will join us. We'll have or Goosey. We'll talk about her experience at the SEC Championship Game and just her thoughts in general on everything that took place over the weekend with college football. Where's Billy? I don't know. Good question. It is a good question. Let me start with you, Mike. Wonderful question. Let me start with you, Mike. Quettez. It is. Did you know, until Billy sent an email yesterday, that Billy was taking off this week?

[00:02:23]

No, I learned the same time you did.

[00:02:24]

You did? Okay. All right. So I was not alone there? No. Okay. Mike EA, did you also learn yesterday when he sent that email that he would not be here this week?

[00:02:35]

Listen, as somebody who helps produce this show, Billy and I talk a lot off camera. I had no idea.

[00:02:41]

I was about to.

[00:02:44]

Say, I talked to him a.

[00:02:45]

Lot too. I'm not certain anyone spends more time with Billy than Chris because on the main show, they produced our show for many, many years. Did you know Billy was taking off this week?

[00:02:54]

I did see late last week the old O-O-O after his name with all week, which is a new thing in our calendar people have been doing. Instead of vacation, they don't put off. It's out of office, 0:00. I did learn late last week.

[00:03:09]

Only because you have access to the company calendar. That's right.

[00:03:12]

Steve, you have access to the company calendar. Yeah, but I don't.

[00:03:14]

Know where to find it. I have no idea.

[00:03:18]

Love a good O-O-O.

[00:03:19]

But Billy's got to call and tell me in that spot. He can't just put it O-O-O on a calendar that he knows I never looked at.

[00:03:26]

See, but the O-O-O is tricky, right? Because if you put O-O-O, that means that you're available, he's out of the office. If you put vacation, I'm not calling you.

[00:03:33]

At all. That is the move, though, is throw something on the calendar weeks in advance. Don't say anything to anyone. And then the day before it actually takes place, just a little reminder. Hey, just so you know, this has been here. I do the exact move. I'm not hating.

[00:03:45]

It's the move. It's in the calendar. That's all I got to say.

[00:03:48]

It's in the calendar. I'm sitting here telling you guys, if we have a calendar or shared calendar, I don't know how to get it.

[00:03:56]

I know. You and Dan seem to struggle with the calendar. We have a big guest coming up on the main show on Monday. Yeah. Dan tried to book a guest yesterday, right when we're having this big guest. And it's like, Oh, Dan clearly doesn't see the calendar because we have a huge guest at that exact time that he just tried.

[00:04:12]

To book. You can promote the guest.

[00:04:13]

It's okay. It's Deion Sanders. I don't know when this airs. It probably already happened.

[00:04:18]

No, it didn't happen yet. I don't know.

[00:04:20]

It's early- No, it did already happen.

[00:04:22]

I.

[00:04:22]

Don't know if I know this better than you.

[00:04:24]

It's probably.

[00:04:25]

In the afternoon, Chris. It's early afternoon, Chris.

[00:04:27]

Okay, so it happened earlier.

[00:04:29]

So, Deion Sanders on the main show, Dan tried to book who instead of Deion Sanders.

[00:04:32]

David Samson. Really? He was like, I want Samson at this time. We're like, Dan, Deion is joining us then.

[00:04:39]

We can get Samson anytime. What are you talking about? Anyway, what was your big takeaway, Chris, from Sunday NFL? Because we'll talk to you, Segment, to college football coming up here with Lucy.

[00:04:51]

Well, the thing that's the freshest in my mind is last night's game, the Sunday night game, Chiefs-Packers and the refs just... I did have the Chiefs minus five and to win the game. So I don't want to let my gambling affect my judge, my analysis. But you're going to - But the ref, I mean, it was just clearly a pass interference late in that game on the scaling. He's the goat of the week before, and it's like everyone hates him, and he finally has, and he gets penalized.

[00:05:16]

Not the good goat, the bad goat.

[00:05:17]

Yeah, the bad goat. I don't like that this goat thing is like-Yeah, you got to specify that. It used to be a clear thing, bad.

[00:05:21]

But now it's-He was a goat. He was the reason you lost the game.

[00:05:24]

But it's just I don't like it when there's a clear penalty. We had reviewing of past interference calls a few years ago, and I don't think we want to go back there. But there are just times when there's just consensus, We got this wrong. Why can't we change that? I don't want to.

[00:05:38]

Call for more- Why can't we stop the game and just say, Hey, we clearly got this wrong. Let's get it right. Like a.

[00:05:43]

Trunk card. The eye in the Sky should just have a Trump card of just, We got this wrong.

[00:05:47]

This is super interesting. This take coming from a Dolphins fan because you now have the one seat. You and the Baltimore Ravens are tied for first in the AFC, and the Chief's losing last night actually benefited your tea, but you had.

[00:05:59]

Money in the game. I'm doingYeah, that's the thing. It's a tough thing out here. It's hard out here with all the gambling nowadays. It's hard out here to be in a fan and not letting your thoughts get clouded.

[00:06:07]

Just don't bet on the Chief.

[00:06:09]

Remember that one year that they allowed the challenging of mass interference? And then none of them were overturned because, of course, not the official is not going to admit that he was blatantly wrong.

[00:06:18]

Yeah. I don't want to go back there, but there's got to be some middle ground of just, Hey, we screwed this up.

[00:06:23]

The guy's looking right at him when it happens, and it was blatant.

[00:06:25]

I just don't-I'm okay with Tim Kirkman being the arbiter on this, by the way. Are you really? Of just somebody that we just find to be genuinely kind, even though he's not a football guy. Right. I just trust his judgment on when to use it. Because if we give it to the coaches, they're going to challenge everything. It just needs to be somebody who has a mild-mannered person who's just like, Not right. Let's fix.

[00:06:45]

This one. What do you name that position? What is it?

[00:06:48]

Just the.

[00:06:48]

Auditor of-.

[00:06:49]

Arbiter of truth.

[00:06:50]

-the auditor of decency.

[00:06:51]

Put that on the pole, Juju. Should Tim Kerr and be the auditor of decency.

[00:06:56]

What if Kerr is not available?

[00:06:58]

Who's not even on the line?

[00:06:59]

No, it's Kirchen. We'll come up with a Dep chart. I'm just saying. We're going to start.

[00:07:02]

With- He was the football player in the mid-offseason. He's fine.

[00:07:04]

That's true. It's a good point.

[00:07:06]

Kurchin can be on any committee that.

[00:07:08]

I have. You want Kurchin to call in to the referee, have access to the referees and say, Hey, stop the game. That was pass interference. Just one of those- If I'm telling you it's PI, it's PI. I'm Tim Kurchin. I don't get mad.

[00:07:17]

I know we don't review penalties anymore, but this one.

[00:07:21]

Deserves it. Now does he say when he's done with the refs, does he say, Listen, that was pass interference, okay? I'm Tim Kirton.

[00:07:30]

Espn.

[00:07:31]

I was going to say.

[00:07:35]

The Arbiter of Decency. I'm Tim Kirton, the Arbiter of Decency. That works, too.

[00:07:39]

Espn is better, though. That's why I agree. I'll put this on the poll as well. Is Patrick behind is tired of throwing the ball to Marques Valdez-Scantling.

[00:07:49]

I mean, that's a good one. That's why he finally gets a penalty. He's like, Even now I don't get it. He's just like, Come on.

[00:07:56]

Jordan-.

[00:07:56]

There was even holding on the.

[00:07:58]

Hale Mary. I know. Yes, right. Well, no, no, no, no.

[00:08:02]

Dude, there was..

[00:08:04]

Time out. I have a Hale.

[00:08:06]

Mary take.

[00:08:07]

Hale Mary, by definition, is a miracle play. Yeah, it's a free for all. You're throwing it up for grabs to anyone, offense or defense. Anything is allowed on a Hale Mary. It's a prayer. I like this one. It's a prayer for.

[00:08:22]

Crying out loud. Literally, you could punch- It's a Scrum. -i could punch the receiver in the face. You do.

[00:08:27]

What you got to do.

[00:08:28]

There was also a penalty in the Chief's favor right before that, the collision at the sideline. They called ruffing on the defensive player.

[00:08:36]

It was just- He was even out of bounds.

[00:08:38]

I'm just saying it was just not a great final few minutes for those officials. I just want an auditor of decency to be able to come in and save them. Save them from themselves. Listen, we've screwed this up, guys. Let's just take a step. Let's take a breath here.

[00:08:51]

Okay, that's him doing Tim Kirchen, by.

[00:08:53]

The way. I was going to say I don't know if you're.

[00:08:54]

Leaning into it or not. I'm doing half and half.

[00:08:56]

Jordan loves good, huh? I mean, annoying. The whole thing is annoying if you're a Jet fan.

[00:09:02]

Or just to see the Packers like, Oh, you could just get another one. We thought for a few weeks you didn't have one, but you do.

[00:09:07]

If this guy is good for the next 15 years, the string of quarterback play. First, they've already gone through it for 30 years with Farv and Aaron Rogers, and had to pass it along to Jordan Love. Oh, my God. Mikey, three straight good quarterbacks. Two are great. One is good. One looks like he's going to be great. So I'll be three straight great quarterbacks. We haven't had one. Not one, Mikey. No, we've had them. We've had theirs. We've had theirs. I can't.

[00:09:35]

Wait for Jordan.

[00:09:36]

Love to run our team in 15 years. In 15 years, Jordan Love is going to be like, Make sure you get me Randall Cobb Jr. On the team because I like throwing to.

[00:09:43]

That guy. Jordan Love had a four-streak, terrible game thing going on. He's not been good. He was just okay last night. He had that one ball he threw up to Dobbs, could have been picked off so easily, just floated up there. No one's looking at the ball. It just lands right in Dobbs' stomach.

[00:09:57]

He's okay. He's got eight touchdowns. No one's last three games. He's got 11 touchdowns, two interceptions, last five games. He's the third highest rated quarterback in the League since week seven.

[00:10:07]

Christian Watson emerges just when I traded him in fantasy. But then he hurt his hamstring.

[00:10:11]

But then he hurt.

[00:10:11]

His hamstring. So good. How about the Niners, man? Do me a favor, do it in the playoffs. I got to be honest. I don't want to hear it. I've seen this before with the 49ers. Then they get to the NFT Championship game, and they get to a Super Bowl, and they blow it. It was an impressive win, but you're getting the off two really difficult games, and the Eagles going to Dallas this weekend.

[00:10:33]

Now you're getting the, They're the best when healthy.

[00:10:37]

It's like just-Well, Chris Sims says that all the time on this show.

[00:10:39]

I mean, it's just the Niners, they're bleeping really good. They're talented, man. That's my analysis.

[00:10:47]

You threw Chris up.

[00:10:48]

You threw Chris up. I tell them Sims says it.

[00:10:51]

No, I mean, Sims takes us credit.

[00:10:52]

I had the whole thing prepared on it. It's like, Wow, Sims says this.

[00:10:55]

All the time. No, you can blast Sims. He doesn't care. But to Sims his credit, listen, he's gotten stuff wrong, and he'll admit it, Zach Wilson being the main one. But he has said to us several times that San Francisco, when healthy, their best game is better than anyone else's best game.

[00:11:12]

What do we make of the Eagles? Because they're playing a lot of close games, even against good teams. Last night, well, I mean, yesterday, I wasn't close. But all their tough games outside of the Chiefs have been at home. I have so many questions about the Eagles right now, and I have questions that make me questions in the AFC because they beat the Chiefs, they beat the Dolphins. Is the AFC having a down year? That's my question.

[00:11:37]

Because we all came into the season thinking the AFC was the better, deeper conference, right?

[00:11:40]

I mean, I can make the argument four of the best five teams in the League are in the NFC.

[00:11:45]

Detroit, Dallas, San Francisco.

[00:11:47]

And the Eagles?

[00:11:48]

And.

[00:11:48]

The Eagles and the Ravens.

[00:11:49]

And maybe the Packers are.

[00:11:50]

Coming on. But I would put the Ravens in that mix from the AFC.

[00:11:54]

And the Dolphins. I was thinking of putting like, we should do a college football playoff thing for the NFL. Then I realized this is all NFC teams.

[00:12:01]

I.

[00:12:02]

Have to say- I think you're right, Chris. -i've gotten nervous about the Dolphins in recent weeks. Because? Because I see all these other teams with their quarterbacks out of the pocket. I just think with Tua, everything has to be perfect. Anytime he has to get out of the pocket and scramble, I just worry about when it's not going perfectly, the Dolphins, it makes me nervous.

[00:12:24]

He had that one play out of the pocket to, I think it was Wattle yesterday.

[00:12:27]

Waddle dropped it.

[00:12:27]

Well, because he was so surprised that Tooket throw it outside the box. He was like, Whoa, right in the face. He's like, What?

[00:12:32]

Right in the hands?

[00:12:33]

There's no way he's getting the ball to me. On the run? That's your concern. We'll talk to Lucy next. As we said in the opening segment, it is rare on a Monday where you want to talk college football more than you want to talk about the NFL. We're going to talk to Lucy about the college football weekend in just a second. She was at the SEC Championship Game. I can't wait to speak to her. She told us a couple of weeks ago that Florida State was not going to get in. Goal insisted they were going to get in, Mikey. He was wrong. Lucy was right. How about that? I love that.

[00:13:22]

Me too.

[00:13:23]

One of them loves college football, and one of them just.

[00:13:25]

Works it. Yeah, I know. Exactly. One of them is just taking paychecks. I mean, yeah. Put this on the pole, by the way. Will the jets sign Jordan Love in 15 years? Put that on the pole. Lucy, what a great college football weekend. And as a college football fan. I can't remember too many times, Lucy, I've been doing this for 20 years, where college football is the lead on a Monday, which you had an NFL Sunday. It's crazy.

[00:13:54]

I mean, since the playoffs started, the only other year where we've had some crazy who's going to get in, who's going to get left out was back in 2014. Since then, it's been pretty like, okay, you know who you're going to get. Maybe you have a case last year where you're like, is TCU going to get in over Alabama? Excuse me. But this is unprecedented. The first power five school to go undefeated and not make it, especially when it's a team like Florida State, like a team that carries a lot of weight, a lot of TV rankings. That's insane.

[00:14:29]

Yeah, it really is. It's amazing. I want to talk about all of this with you, but first, I want to discuss your experience here at the SEC Championship Game. You have told us you've cried at many games. You've cried on the airplane to certain games. What was the emotional roller coaster for you this past weekend? It was a great game.

[00:14:50]

I didn't cry. Oh, really?

[00:14:51]

I'll be honest. I was shocked. Wow. It doesn't mean more? I think it's a neutral location, Mikey A. That's what I think it is. She's not going to like Ohio State or Michigan. Just a neutral game.

[00:15:02]

Neutral side, yeah.

[00:15:04]

I'm afraid to say it, but this is true. It was the worst tailgating we've been through the whole year by far. Really? Like, USC so much better. It's not the fault of the SEC fans. I don't believe it's them because I think those are two great tailgating schools. But actually, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, just like the location of it, it's not built for that. There just wasn't any tailgating atmosphere. They also didn't sell alcohol at the game to general admission, so the whole vibes were off. But tailgating-wise, I was so disappointed. I was so disappointed.

[00:15:37]

Glad I watched it at home though. I mean, I did go to the game. Did it feel like a big game, though, when you're around there, when you're in there?

[00:15:44]

It did feel like a big game. We were up in the press box, which I hate being in the press box, so that already vibes were a little off. But no, we were sitting next to the Georgia people, and you could tell it was a big game.

[00:15:55]

Right. Okay. How surprised were you? I think you were pretty surprised, that Washington Friday night, now I'm going back to Friday night here, that Washington was able to beat Oregon a second time this season.

[00:16:07]

I was so surprised and I thought of you the whole time. I was like, Why am I not listening to Scott Smart? He's making the greatest points out of anyone ever. Thank you. It was one of those moments where as it was happening, I was like, Why are we surprised? I shouldn't be surprised at this. I don't know why I was so gung ho for Oregon, but the way they've played the last few weeks versus the way Oregon's played, I understand the national sentiment. I understood the betting line, but good for Washington. That win, that's a very good Oregon team that absolutely solidified that they deserve to be in the playoff. They earned their spot. I'm happy for them. I think the Washington-Texas matchup is really interesting because we already have another situation where Washington's alreadyyou know, as of now, they're a 4.1 hundred dollar Texas. That'll probably grow up.

[00:16:49]

So you just said a sentence right there, the way they've played the last few weeks, and that is really what happened to FSU. The way they've looked without Jordan, Travis, is what we can all agree, right? The reason that they didn't make this. Are we just forgetting that Alabama barely beat an Auburn team that lost the New Mexico State? That's the part in all this. Exactly. I've flown all over the place on this. I was so happy that FSU got screwed at the beginning. Right. Right. And now as I've listened to all the reaction, it's hard to argue with the fact that we just have this preconceived notion about the SEC because Alabama against Auburn didn't look until the final play.

[00:17:25]

It's a.

[00:17:26]

Good miracle. So it's just like, what happened there with the committee? Right.

[00:17:30]

No, that is the perfect example because even if you look at the way these rankings played out, let's say Alabama had lost, they were going to screw Florida State no matter what. That was always the plan. Georgia would be in.

[00:17:40]

Georgia would be in.

[00:17:42]

Two weeks ago, yeah, they were going to draw Florida State out. I don't know where this notion that the injury wouldn't matter. It's just like, Alabama needed a miracle pass to beat Auburn. They beat a very good Georgia team. And Florida State, yes, they have not looked as good without Jordan Travis. And I understand that Jordan Travis is a generational player. If he's this important, maybe he should be the Heisman.

[00:18:04]

Right. That's funny.

[00:18:05]

He's huge to college football. He should be the Heisman. But even then, you go to the swamp and you get a win. I don't care what Florida team that is. That's impressive. You beat a Louisville team that's got the best run defense and one of the best run defenses in the country, and you light them up. That's impressive. Your defense was phenomenal. That was impressive. I think you take... Florida State's run game is very good. Florida State's defense is phenomenal. Those are two things that are just out of the question now. I don't believe it was a Jordan-Travis injury that hurt Florida State. I believe it's being in the ACC.

[00:18:37]

That's what it was. But having said everything you just said, Lucy, and I agree with every syllabus you just said, now I'm going to flip back. I don't want Florida State in this.

[00:18:46]

Final four though. A lot of people were doing that. A lot of people were doing that yesterday. Listen, it feels terrible. The committee had to hurt a fan base. They hurt Florida State's fan base. But I will tell you this, Lucy, they got it right. I don't care. That committee was put together to give you what they deemed the four best teams in the country. I'm sorry they gave us the four best teams in the country, in my opinion.

[00:19:07]

How much was Lucy and the committee rooting for Florida State to lose to Louisville? They're like, Don't make us do make it easy. Please don't make us leave you out. Please just do it for us and lose this game.

[00:19:20]

The thing that gets me there is I'm in this weird spot where I think they got it right in leaving Florida State out, but also Florida State deserve to be there and we can all be angry and upset for them. But if we're talking four best teams, I'm sorry. I believe that if Georgia was in this field, they would win the national championship like they did. I believe Georgia, despite the loss to Alabama, is still one of the four best teams. So it's like a weird thing for me where I'm like, I don't even think you got the four best teams. I don't know. The moment that was like, Okay, you know what? This is what it is. It's solidified for me. When Michigan saw their announcement that they were playing Alabama, not Florida State, there wasn't one excited player in that room. They were like, That was the most tame just group ever, where they were so disappointed to realize that they had gotten Alabama instead of Florida State, which pretty much was like, You know what? You made the right call. Even though I don't understand it, even though it really sucks for Florida State.

[00:20:12]

This is why I just don't really get the whole playoff committee system of just like, Let's just have 13 random people. We don't really know how involved you are with college football. You're going to decide this for everybody. You know more than records. You know more better than wins and losses. Florida State just got punished because they don't have a quality loss. How much does.

[00:20:29]

That suck? I know they gave us Michigan, Alabama, though, in a semifinal game at.

[00:20:33]

The Rose Bowl. You're so right, though.

[00:20:35]

Please.

[00:20:35]

Don't tell me. The math that the committee told us that they did for this would have Georgia ahead of Florida State as well.

[00:20:42]

Well, listen, they're a big mistake. Absolutely. Lucy, I think the big mistake, Lucy, I think the big mistake... They put Florida State, you talked about that win in Gainesville, they put them inside the playoff. They were at number four, and then they took them out for winning the ACC Championship game. So they got it wrong there.

[00:20:55]

They got penalized for winning.

[00:20:56]

The playoff screwed themselves in the sense of they were hoping that Georgia would win and they could keep them in there. But I think they also had the understanding if Alabama wins, we're going to put them in because it's Alabama, because it's the SEC. They screwed themselves the week before by putting Alabama at eight. You can't jump from eight to four.

[00:21:13]

They just did.

[00:21:14]

And it's a great point. It's a great point you guys made because if that Auburn game ends differently, meaning they win the game, they beat Alabama, Alabama still plays in the SEC Championship game, perhaps they still beat Georgia. Let's just say everything plays out exactly the same. It's not Florida State who's the fourth team. It's Georgia who's the fourth team, and Alabama is out.

[00:21:34]

Exactly.

[00:21:34]

It's unbelievable. The second Jordan Travis broke his leg, which his statement was so sad. He came out and said, I wish I had broken my leg earlier. I know. So you can tell that we're good. What the hell?

[00:21:45]

We.

[00:21:45]

Were planning on dropping Florida State. This entire time they were planning on doing it. They were just.

[00:21:50]

A placeholder. Is Jordan Travis secretly like, Hell, yeah.

[00:21:54]

I'm that important.

[00:21:55]

He seems so sad. Espm, when they showed the footage, and.

[00:22:00]

They think it goes, I think he's sad. I'm sorry to cut you off. I think he's sad with a hint of, Hell, yeah. Him and his agent.

[00:22:08]

Little fist bump. He's got a skyrocket. Him and.

[00:22:11]

His agent, little fist bump below the table. By the way, all of this just made me realize we need more committees deciding things. We did. I need it in my life. Where am I going for dinner tonight? A fight with my wife? As long as Tim Kirchen is on it. Send it to the committee. That's what I'm telling you. A committee of people like Tim Kirsten that are just like, You know what? Christy, Chris was right here. Just come on.

[00:22:32]

What.

[00:22:33]

Shows are we watching?

[00:22:34]

Yeah, Kareach and Siding.

[00:22:36]

With you. What time is my kid going to bed? We need more committees. Put it on the pole.

[00:22:40]

You want more committees? I'm in an existential dread right now over a team I don't.

[00:22:43]

Care about. More committees. Put it on the pole. More committees, question mark. Wait, I.

[00:22:48]

Love this sport, means so much to Lucy. I feel that she thinks the committee got it right. Her heart is broken for Florida State.

[00:22:56]

I had to watch on the plane and the woman next to me heard me. I like yelled. She was like, Are you okay?

[00:23:02]

I was like, Go.

[00:23:03]

Florida State didn't get in.

[00:23:05]

They put Alabama in Fort State. I thought we had an SEC-less playoff. There were also Alabama fans on my flight, and I could tell my broadcast was delayed because I heard a bunch of rolled tides in the back of the plane. I was like.

[00:23:16]

Oh, my God. Yelling and dread on an airplane, not a good thing.

[00:23:19]

No, I couldn't help myself.

[00:23:22]

Wait, so you learned you were watching the playoffs on the plane?

[00:23:27]

Yeah, so we were flying back from Atlanta. You could do the live TV. So I paid for Wi-Fi, well, I expense Wi-Fi, on my phone so that I could.

[00:23:35]

Read about it.

[00:23:36]

And then I put the live TV on my iPad, and then it was delayed because I was getting text that they were just saying, Oh, my God. And so I was like, Oh, my God. And then I heard the Bama fans scream, roll, tie. And I was like, Oh, my God. Did Bama make the playoff? Then popped up on my screen. Then I yelled. And then the lady was like, Are you okay? I said, I wouldn't say that, but you don't need to worry.

[00:23:56]

Did anyone react when Washington made the playoff?

[00:24:00]

No one reacted. Lucy, are we taking Georgia in the Salty Bowl? Minus 13? What are we taking?

[00:24:06]

This is very weird. I'm in a Florida State Facebook group because I have found that the most chaotic fans are on Facebook. So I've- We're into all the major Facebook groups. I don't know what.

[00:24:17]

Those guys are thinking. They were outraged.

[00:24:18]

They want us to sit out the game. I'm taking Georgia because Florida State might be sitting out according to the.

[00:24:24]

Facebook brush.

[00:24:25]

Georgia might too. I think if they really want to make news with this and send a message, they should just show up to whatever game they thought they should have been at, all in uniform. Full pads, yeah. Full pads, walk in as a group, arm and arm.

[00:24:36]

That would be the Rose Bowl. They would have been the four Seachers. You have to be showing up.

[00:24:41]

Waiting to play. We got winners. As the two teams take the field, they pan over to the tunnel, and you just see all of them in uniform. How sick would that look?

[00:24:50]

Security's going, What are you guys doing here? We're playing Michigan. What do you mean?

[00:24:55]

It'd honestly be more successful for them if they show up to play against Georgia.

[00:24:58]

Juju, put this on the pole. Should Florida State show up to the Rose Bowl anyway. All right, coming up next, we have a bunch of questions. It's a great segment. Our listeners love it. It's a Lucy or Goosey? Next.

[00:25:27]

And we're back.

[00:25:29]

You're a jackass. You know that? What?

[00:25:32]

I'm getting serious. Thank you.

[00:25:34]

Thank you, Chris. You told him to do that, didn't you? You did. Yes. I missed Billy. You asked me to start.

[00:25:38]

I missed Billy.

[00:25:39]

But.

[00:25:39]

I'm like, Hey, Billy. Chris is doing a great job, and we appreciate Chris doing this. We found out Billy wasn't going to be here an hour ago. I don't know what to tell you. But Billy does that. Mikey had to tell you to do it. I'm like, Billy, you start the segment. He comes in and we're back and just throws into my lap. That's not.

[00:25:58]

Starting a segment. That's the way to do it.

[00:26:00]

Actually, textbook. Well, that's what he says.

[00:26:03]

Lucy or Goosey?

[00:26:04]

We'll get to it in a second.

[00:26:05]

Ron McGill at a sex museum.

[00:26:06]

We'll get to it in a second. Chris, did you take... Did you take, Iowa, the over, under, the.

[00:26:14]

Team total? I've taken it every single week all season because.

[00:26:17]

Of Lucy. But this past weekend, the first half, it was over under a half point. The second half was over under a half point. I took the under in both hands. I bought it up to a point. I mean, how about that?

[00:26:29]

I thought it was like-Because you're being smart. I thought they were six and a half for the game. You got it at a half?

[00:26:34]

Well, each half was that. For each half. Well, that means a field goal, each half. Exactly, right. Lucy, how about - Can I just say?

[00:26:41]

Hold on real quick. Can I just say my income is going to drop by half next year because of all the money I made just betting the Iowa under.

[00:26:50]

All year.

[00:26:50]

And it's over.

[00:26:52]

It's just gone. What do you mean? You have them scoring next year?

[00:26:55]

I have news for you guys. I have some news. What? I'm dead inside. But it's fine. It's all right. Because as much as I... Brian Farrant's.

[00:27:04]

Stuff- Who cares?

[00:27:05]

Get to my wallet. -is just bad. I don't necessarily think he was the whole problem. I don't think he was the entire issue. I think Kirk Farrant will keep the Iowa under a life. I really do.

[00:27:16]

You do? Okay, good.

[00:27:18]

She.

[00:27:18]

Sounds like the Jets.

[00:27:18]

Fans defending.

[00:27:19]

The thing.

[00:27:19]

I'm happy for you guys.

[00:27:20]

I'm so happy for you guys. Happy for my wallet. Sad for my entire existence.

[00:27:26]

Okay. Are you hoping for a crappy OC? How does this work?

[00:27:29]

I don't really want a great one. I don't need that. What would you do with that? I just want an okay one. I just want okay.

[00:27:36]

That's all I want.

[00:27:37]

Okay. I don't even want good. What if you guys brought in some Mike McDaniel style often? They would.

[00:27:42]

Never do that.

[00:27:43]

They.

[00:27:43]

Would never do that. That's not the way he wants to play football, Kirk Ferris. That's absolutely the way. That's more tight ends. He wants to win games nine-three.

[00:27:49]

I wish. Kirk Ferris came out like it was way before the season, and God, it's turned into a meme. But he said the most overrated stat in football is offensive yardage. So yeah, let me tell you, he's not getting somebody fucked.

[00:28:01]

He's not.

[00:28:02]

Getting somebody fucked.

[00:28:03]

I'm so sorry.

[00:28:04]

I did not fire him right away for saying that. It's so terrible.

[00:28:07]

He's got a lifetime give there.

[00:28:09]

And then I've won 10 games, and I think they were out gained in almost.

[00:28:12]

All of them. Right. This is the guy who's always the best NFL coach coaching in college. It's been that way for years. Imagine that guy in the NFL. Jesus, crazy. Coach of.

[00:28:23]

The Patriots. He hurt the product, they'd fire him.

[00:28:26]

What did The Patriots do in the Iowa?

[00:28:28]

I love that. I've been through it. Yesterday, I had the Patriots under and their team.

[00:28:32]

Total under. Right, I had the Chargers minus five and a half.

[00:28:35]

Honestly, the- I won't want a dreadful game. The Patriots not scoring a point on the Chargers defense is one of the more impressive things all season in any sport. Right. That defense for the Chargers has been- You almost.

[00:28:48]

Have to try to.

[00:28:48]

Do that. As a unit, I think, looking around this room right now, everyone I'm looking at, we could score a point on the chargers.

[00:28:55]

I started them a fantasy.

[00:28:57]

Could we score a point on the This.

[00:29:00]

Unit right here.

[00:29:01]

I just see Chris Cody running away.

[00:29:03]

From a.

[00:29:05]

Zero points.

[00:29:06]

Crazy. Let's get to a- A-BOSA. A-bosa was perfect. I don't know.

[00:29:09]

Which one it is. Do you.

[00:29:10]

Have a top five coming up next segment, by the way? Yes, I do. What is your top five?

[00:29:14]

Top five things that shouldn't be. That shouldn't be? That shouldn't be, like a Disney story.

[00:29:17]

That shouldn't be. All right, interesting. That shouldn't be. I thought you're doing top five losers.

[00:29:22]

It's a.

[00:29:23]

Good loss for Philly. Humbly loss. No?

[00:29:26]

No.

[00:29:27]

All right, let's get to Lucy or Goosey. Lucy, are you ready? Always. Okay, do you have cards? I don't know where you are right now at home. Okay. I don't know. You do. All right, you are always prepared. All right, here we go. Florida State versus Georgia at Oregon versus Ohio State would have been better than the playoff we have now. Lucy or Goosey?

[00:29:47]

Absolutely, Lucy, on that one. I think the Orange Bowl is going to be really fun. I think those are two sad but very passionate fan bases. I'm really excited for that game. Liberty getting the group of five bid doesn't sit right with me. Didn't love that. Smu, I know, has a loss on the season. However, Liberty, they are undefeated. They got 12 wins. That is impressive.

[00:30:10]

Now we're respecting undefeated. Hold up.

[00:30:13]

They played the 133rd toughest schedule in the country out of 133 teams. Do I think they deserve the New Year's Sixth Bowl over a really good.

[00:30:24]

Smu team?

[00:30:25]

Smu is good. Not necessarily. Ohio State, breaking news, Kyle McCord in the transfer portal. I don't think Ohio State is going to give one single shit about this.

[00:30:34]

Ball again. Wow.

[00:30:35]

That's so- So FSU is to play because they're both big spreads. Oregon, Liberty is the exact same spread, I believe, but maybe one point different as Ohio State, FSU. Right. I mean, I would just asking. I don't know the same style.

[00:30:46]

I was just trying to make the point that there are eight teams this year. That those four teams would have been a good playoff.

[00:30:51]

That would have been a better match up. Florida State Georgia is going to rule in the Orange Bowl. I'm excited. Ohio State, Mizzou, I think is actually going to be a little more competitive now because it seems like everyone from Ohio State is transferring today. And then Oregon, that sucks. They had a great season and had to end with Liberty. That's not the matchup we wanted. I would take Oregon big. Liberty is... Winning 12 games is not easy, but winning those 12 games.

[00:31:16]

A little bit easier. It's funny. I'm looking at my questions for you, and we already addressed this one, but I did write, if everything this weekend stayed the same but Auburn beat Alabama two weekends ago, would Florida State be in? But I think we all say no, right? Yeah, that's.

[00:31:29]

Goosey is out.

[00:31:30]

Yeah, they put him at five. That would be George's spot. That's so great what the committee did. Everyone, and I'm including you here, Lucy, owe an apology to the Washington Huskies. Lucy or Goosey?

[00:31:40]

I owe an apology to them and you. Thank you. Because I didn't listen to you. Yeah, they were great. All right. Oregon was impressive in the sense that, man, did they look bad in that first quarter? Yes. They looked really, really bad. But they came back, Bonics. He had his felt like a Heisman potential game in that one. Just didn't in the way you wanted. Oregon's defense ended up being the problem, which is usually how it ends up working out. It's tough, but Washington earned their spot in the playoff, and people are already really quick to beat Texas is going to win this big, and I don't see that happening.

[00:32:12]

Well, good. That leads me right to my next question. Michigan, the one seed, got a tougher game than Washington, the two seed.

[00:32:19]

I think I'll go, Lucy, on this one just because when you're playing Alabama, you're always playing one of the two most talented teams in the country. Not that Texas isn't incredibly talented and they're a very good football team. They beat Alabama by 10 points and does Kaluzza. But yeah, that's a tough game. And you could tell in the reaction when they were not happy to find out they were playing Alabama.

[00:32:40]

That's what I was just about to ask you about. They got to know they're being videotaped there. You got to fake it. I think we knew- You have to act. -and what would the reaction have been if it was FSU? Have you ever seen that World Club celebration? It would.

[00:32:53]

Have been exact.

[00:32:54]

He.

[00:32:54]

Would have been so happy to play FSU. And I would love to see Michigan lose, personally.

[00:33:00]

That proves that the committee got it right. The reaction for Michigan means they got it right.

[00:33:04]

I think that's how the committee has to do it moving forward, okay? Well, we're not because we're moving to 12. But you throw out to Michigan, you got Florida State, you gage their reaction, and then you tell them they got Alabama. Just kidding. And whoever they cheer for less is the team they get. How about that? Yeah. You like that, Lucy? Jaylin Millrow is the best quarterback of the four quarterbacks in the college football playoff. Lucy or Goosey?

[00:33:30]

Oh, that's a really good question.

[00:33:33]

He's playing great, Lucy.

[00:33:35]

Wow. Oh, my God. I don't know.

[00:33:37]

I know. Wow. I stumped her. She has never been stumbled.

[00:33:42]

It's such a good quarterback pool in the playoff this year. Jj McCarthy is awesome.

[00:33:48]

Yeah, Panx is great.

[00:33:50]

Panx is great. Right now, as we're playing, yours is amazing. Yeah.

[00:33:57]

God, he's playing so good, though.

[00:33:59]

I think I'm going to go Lucy just because of how well he's playing right now. Yeah, he's great. That's one of the best Stevenson in the country against George. He looks really good. I won't say overall that he's playing the best right now, which makes him the best at the moment.

[00:34:13]

I have a fun NFL Lucy Goosey for you. Tyreeke Hill gifted the entire Miami Dolphins roster, these Mac Daddy segue scooters. I'm out on this because I think they're dangerous. I've seen our guy around here, Danny, I saw him on one of these scooters and it didn't go well. I'm just thinking that's a risky thing to buy every single person on the team. So are you Lucy or Goosey on buying segue scooters for your entire team?

[00:34:38]

I'm Goosey as hell on those. Those things scare the.

[00:34:41]

Shit out of me.

[00:34:41]

Yes, same here. I had a friend who completely disfigured his face on one of.

[00:34:45]

Those things. Really? And I had a producer that disfigured his whole... I'm just making a joke, Dan.

[00:34:50]

Did an Izzy fall, too?

[00:34:51]

I think that's had that memory. Remember when Izzy's face was all tore up? From a scooter? From a scooter. That's what my friend's face.

[00:34:56]

Looked exactly like. I always get TikToks from nurses being like, Please stop using those.

[00:35:00]

Please stop. It's just like, Hey, all my teammates, all 55 of you, here you go. I'm just like- Go get hurt. -what are we doing?

[00:35:06]

That.

[00:35:06]

Is a terrible idea. What are we doing?

[00:35:08]

That's the end of the season gift.

[00:35:09]

He shouldn't win.

[00:35:10]

Mvp or anything. I don't need Raquan Davis scootering to the facility every day. You should.

[00:35:16]

Have bought all his cars. Well, I'll say we pile up in the entire Miami Dolphins.

[00:35:19]

Yeah, how about you buy them all a car? Yeah, it's a pile up on the way to the...

[00:35:23]

Mdp, the most dangerous player.

[00:35:25]

In Miami, too, where the drivers do not pay her. Thank you.

[00:35:28]

Luckily, they go to the facility in Davey. Actually, that's not true. They're not in Davey anymore. They're not in Davey anymore.

[00:35:33]

They're at the stadium. All right, a couple more for Lucy, and we'll get her out of here. Alabama will beat Michigan. Lucy or Goosey?

[00:35:41]

This is a tough one. I haven't decided. I think right now it's just a pick-them-game.

[00:35:46]

I'm open and a half.

[00:35:48]

Okay, I think I'm going to go Lucy. I think that Michigan still hasn't been as tested as we think. I do think Ohio State was good. Iowa is not, I'm sorry, not the most formidable championship opponent. Alabama is really talented right now. Alabama could beat any team in the country. I think we always get in this weird spot with the playoff where when Alabama loses a game, we can't let them in. If we were doing the system that we normally like where we're supposed to pick the four best teams, Alabama would be in every year. They're always one of the four best teams in the country. They could beat anybody. They could definitely beat Michigan. I think it's going to be a phenomenal game. I really do. So do I. That'll be the best defense.

[00:36:23]

Alabama is going to be. I need FSE to show up to that game.

[00:36:26]

What would the spread be if they were playing FSE if Michigan was?

[00:36:29]

Do we know? It would probably be pretty similar to the Georgia spread, I think.

[00:36:32]

Okay, Texas will be Washington. Lucy or Goosey?

[00:36:36]

I think I'm Goosey on this one right now. Texas is, I believe, a four-point favorite. This is a game I'm not quite sure how I feel, because I've doubted Washington before, and my normal friends are going to be, Let's go to Texas. I believe that Texas is very, very good. They are just talent-wise, so insane. Dan talks about it all the time. Their receivers are giant.

[00:37:01]

Their whole team does. They look fast. They look like giants.

[00:37:05]

Yeah, they are a really good football team. Washington, there's just something about them. They keep winning games. Michael Pinnocks Jr, I know he struggled the last few weeks, but he can turn it on at any time. That's a really good Washington football team. I'm going to go a little... I'm 50-50 on this one.

[00:37:21]

All right, the championship game we should all be rooting for is Alabama and Texas. Lucy or Goosey?

[00:37:28]

I'm so Goosey.

[00:37:29]

Honestly, because-.

[00:37:33]

But go, Chris. Call her out. Go, Chris. We can go along here, by the way. It's okay. Those were her two winners.

[00:37:37]

It's not what I want.

[00:37:40]

I'm saying the championship game we should all want is a rematch of Alabama and Texas to won the last teams. And she's saying she's Goosey on that, right?

[00:37:48]

I'm Goosey because I've seen that, been there, done that.

[00:37:52]

Texas won by double digits. Texas won by double digits.

[00:37:54]

Yeah, I know it's not the same team that Alabama is vastly improved.

[00:37:58]

nick Saban has told us that a lot. But we're not the same team.

[00:38:05]

We're already in this weird spot with Florida State getting left out that games don't matter. So now if Alabama and Texas play each other in Alabama, it's the national championship. It's just everything's out of whack. I want to see something new. I want to see something different. I know it doesn't technically count as an all-SEC championship, but I don't want that.

[00:38:20]

If Florida State, Lizzie, last one for you. If Florida State doesn't show up to the Rose Bowl, as Chris suggested, which would be great, but if Florida State beats Georgia in the Orange Bowl with their backup quarterback, should the winner of the college football playoff then have to play Florida State?

[00:38:40]

I have never loved any suggestion for that. I love that. Thank you.

[00:38:43]

They keep it within a touchdown.

[00:38:45]

I would not be shocked if Florida State came out and won that game.

[00:38:49]

Now Georgia doesn't want to be there. You're right.

[00:38:52]

Georgia doesn't want to.

[00:38:53]

Be there at all. Right. Florida State has something to prove. Correct.

[00:38:56]

Someone took a screenshot of the presser of the Orange Bull coaches yesterday, say, Oh, no one wanted to be there. No one wanted to be there. Kobe wasn't happy. Mike wasn't happy. No one wants to be there. It would be a really cool Florida State one. I think everyone is rooting for Florida State. And if they beat Georgia, who I believe if they were in the playoff, would be the national champion. Let's just crown it. Let's just go UCF and give it to Florida.

[00:39:19]

State anyways. They should have that five, six matchup every year or the bubble teams. Every year, they should rebrand it, re-sponsor it, the Salty Bowl. Some salt company because no one wants to be in it. It should just be like the 5-6 every year because these two teams feel like they should be in the playoff. I know we're going to have to extend it now with.

[00:39:39]

More teams. Quickly, Lucy, you are going to Army, Navy. That is our national championship every year here at St. Paul's Football. You are going to Army versus Navy this weekend, right?

[00:39:48]

That is the plan. Awesome. We don't know how plans work here. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

[00:39:53]

But the plan is. No, we know.

[00:39:55]

We know the plans.

[00:39:57]

That.

[00:39:58]

Word doesn't.

[00:39:59]

Mean and I'm glad you had a ton. Lizzie, we appreciate it. I'm glad you had a great weekend. Glad you're home safely. We'll see you this week. Thank you for joining us.

[00:40:06]

Bye, guys. Thanks for having me. Sorry, Florida State.

[00:40:20]

Something.

[00:40:21]

Happened in NFL football yesterday that made me sad. Really? Yeah, I saw Ryan Teno Hill holding field goals. Itried to, and I thought to myself- That made you sad? And I thought to myself, Eli Manning never had to do this when he got benched at the end. Yeah, but Ryan Teno.

[00:40:36]

Hill was never Eli Manning. That's a.

[00:40:38]

Good point. That's actually the conversation I wanted to have. I feel like Ryan Teno Hill is above the line. He reached the level where he shouldn't have to hold kicks. Really? I feel like Ryan.

[00:40:49]

Teno Hill is the line. Time out. I feel like he's the Mendoza line. Wait a second. If you get benched, you.

[00:40:55]

Have to do this. You're saying he accomplished just enough that he should never have to hold.

[00:41:00]

The kick. You see, Mikey A. And I aren't disagreeing. I have him just above the... We agree he is the line. I just have him slightly above. He's just above it, and Mikey has him just below it. According to Mikey A. Tanehale is the most impressive quarterback you'll ever see holding kicks.

[00:41:17]

Yes. I'm not certain.

[00:41:18]

I mean, he made an AFC Championship game.

[00:41:21]

That's what I mean. I just feel like if you make an AFC Championship game, why can't the punner hold the kicks?

[00:41:26]

What's the punner doing? You're saying Mark Sanchez should never have to uphold the kick?

[00:41:30]

That's what you're.

[00:41:30]

Saying, yes, essentially. But the punner was hurt. That's why Tanehale was doing it. Oh, okay.

[00:41:35]

Yeah, because the punner got hurt. All right. My bad, I didn't.

[00:41:37]

Know that. He just makes me feel better. So he's the backup holder.

[00:41:38]

He's the backup holder. You know what?

[00:41:39]

I'm good.

[00:41:40]

He's the backup holder. He's the backup.

[00:41:42]

All over.

[00:41:43]

The place.

[00:41:43]

Yeah, which is a great tactic because it's like, Hey, is there a fake coming?

[00:41:47]

I can relate to that. There's times where around here, something happens where I have to do something and I'm like, I shouldn't be doing this. I'm the backup for this. But that's what Ryan Tanahill felt like yesterday.

[00:41:56]

Jake Plumber is a quarterback.

[00:41:57]

He's also a backup left tackle.

[00:41:59]

Jake Plumber is a quarterback that has held kicks. So is Tony Romo. He botch won.

[00:42:04]

That's right. That Romo might be the best one to ever hold a kick, and you didn't hold one after that. We got.

[00:42:11]

To go back and see if Johnny Unite has ever.

[00:42:13]

Held a kick. Please try, because I think back in the day, you probably had a kick. That's why you had to hold the kicks. I'm not going to be surprised if you tell me Bart Star was a kicker or held the kicks or a punter. Exactly.

[00:42:23]

Probably punted and held the kicks and played quarterback.

[00:42:26]

I just got this. He made the field goal and Tano had to do the thing. They always embrace after the holder and the kicker. I was just like, Oh, Tano Hill, that's where you are now. You're embracing the kicker after a field goal, and you're acting like you're happy to be there.

[00:42:39]

That check's clear. But Chris, you need to take a page out of Tony Robo's book, and the next time you're asked to do one of those things you're not really sure you should be doing. You got to.

[00:42:46]

Botch it so.

[00:42:46]

You never have to.

[00:42:47]

Do it again. At least in practice, right? Botch it in practice so it doesn't hurt the team, but you're just like, I don't know, Coach.

[00:42:52]

Yeah, don't listen. Sometimes you.

[00:42:53]

Got to make a point. No, you don't make a point. You got to make a playoff game. It sticks with you your entire career. What are you talking about? I'm telling.

[00:43:00]

You, Robo, not the best.

[00:43:01]

But maybe Tana.

[00:43:01]

Hill- Never had to do it again.

[00:43:03]

Tana Hill might be.

[00:43:04]

Looking- He didn't want to. They didn't want him.

[00:43:07]

I don't know how Tana Hill feels about it, though. Tana Hill might be thinking to himself, I want to turn this career into 10 more years of being a backup. Then he might be auditioning. He might be, I'm a damn good holder.

[00:43:16]

If Tana Hill wants 10 years as a backup, he'll get it, okay? I would gladly take Ryan Tana Hill as my backup.

[00:43:21]

I think.

[00:43:23]

It's a good start. Do you.

[00:43:25]

Think Chase Daniel would go to coaches and be like, I'm a damn good holder? Yeah, if you need it. I don't think he has to. I'm just saying I just- If.

[00:43:32]

He needed to, yes. These people that are back-ups. The people.

[00:43:34]

That are in his career-I'm trying to get on his career. The people that want to have the career is back-ups.

[00:43:37]

Listen, at the end of his career when he's held enough clipboards and he's like, They're thinking about cutting him and he needs to add a skill? Coach. Yes.

[00:43:47]

His hands? Sturdy hands. Sturdy, yes. No romo here.

[00:43:50]

And I might be able to punk in a year. Say that.

[00:43:54]

That made me sad. It did, huh? I also need Lil Wayne hyping up every football game that I watch. He did this thing last night before Sunday Night Football, where it was just him reading the voice-over for the pre-game montage. And it was just like, I am all in on Lil Wayne doing that for every game I ever watch again. It's so great. He's so good.

[00:44:12]

What an interesting... The NFL, man, every year. And for some reason, we're surprised every year.

[00:44:18]

Tyree Kill MVP?

[00:44:19]

Yes. But the season ends. I've been saying that all year.

[00:44:21]

You said it before. There's video evidence.

[00:44:23]

Greg Cody wrote that article yesterday. He's coming for your stuff.

[00:44:26]

Four weeks behind me. Wow, you got to give him shit. At least four weeks behind me. You got to give him shit tomorrow. I will. I have 100 %. I can't believe you wrote that article. I've been saying it for four weeks now. But if the season ends today, the Colts are a playoff team. That's insane. They're seven and five with Midshoot.

[00:44:42]

There's so many of those teams that are just annoying. The Colts are them. The Titan, they played yesterday. The Colts, the Titan is just, God, do I never want to.

[00:44:49]

Watch that. The Falcons would host a home game. That's another one.

[00:44:53]

I love how now that the Dolphins are good, I can look down at all these teams now. I was the Dolphins. The Dolphins, like the Falcons this year, that's the Dolphins the last 20 years. Just no one knows that they can win, they can lose. Now that I'm the Dolphins and we're nine and three, I'm looking down at them. I'm like, Hey, Falcons, what's up?

[00:45:12]

They're minus 14.

[00:45:13]

I'm so judgmental of offenses now. I'm like, Look how little motion.

[00:45:17]

They have. Because you have the best offense in the NFL.

[00:45:20]

They're not moving around at all. You're a cocky Dolphins.

[00:45:24]

I'm like, What is this? Third and 12th? No problem.

[00:45:28]

That's the best feeling. Because I remember those.

[00:45:31]

Ten-and-a-half teams. Unless he has to roll out.

[00:45:33]

If it was like third and 17, you're like, Well, it drives over. Now you can get it back in to play. It's fantastic.

[00:45:38]

What was that throw? That second bomb touchdown? Was that a bad throw or a good throw? I mean, him and his wife.

[00:45:45]

Any throw to re-kill was a.

[00:45:46]

Good throw. Tyric was going one way, he flips around, and then it falls right in his bread basket. So it looked like a fantastic throw. He had to adjust, but it was a good throw. But I heard people say afterwards that it was actually a bad throw.

[00:45:56]

It was good, but it was a good play by Tariq, too.

[00:45:58]

He had to adjust. Listen, if Tariq bailed them out, he bailed them out because Tua has put plenty right on the numbers for it. Like he just has. He's been-.

[00:46:04]

Two segue scooters.

[00:46:05]

For Tua. Two of them. Two of them. Two of them. Two of them. Two of them. The dangerous. I don't want them on those things. The Dolphins are good. They ginkgo.

[00:46:14]

Dude had a sack, a PIC 6, and inches from a block punch, and then it was half time.

[00:46:20]

I was surprised because the weather was bad, Washington. That could have been a sneaky, close game. The Dolphins took care of business. They blew them out. Really, I'm telling you right now, that Dolphins-Raven game, it's all set up for that game to determine who's going to be the one seed in the AFC because something's off in Kansas City. I don't know what it is.

[00:46:38]

Is it condescending or is it respectful of Mike McDaniel to jog to the head coach handshake every game? What do you mean? Mike McDaniel, when the.

[00:46:50]

Coach is at the end of the game.

[00:46:51]

He always jogs to the coach. He always- Right, that's respectful. It's one of those things where if you just look at it, it looks like he's being respectful. He's like, Let me all make the effort and get to you quicker. But it's also when you're winning by double digits, it can also very quickly go over the line of condescending and like, Oh, you're so good. Oh, you're so young. You can run over here. So you're rather.

[00:47:09]

Him slow strut.

[00:47:10]

To you and make you aggast. I just think just like a thing as old as time.

[00:47:12]

You want him to get to exactly the halfway point and then just stop?

[00:47:15]

It's a thing as old as time. The coach is walking slowly, looking for each other, the one handler being like, No, he's right here. I always want to be that guy. Just a handler for a head coach. Who gets you to the coach? Just make sure you're doing all the stuff you need to do. But I don't know, I've always thought it was respectful, but yesterday it crossed the line where I'm like, Is he being condescending with that jog? Right.

[00:47:35]

Well, if he is, so what? He should be. I mean, Ron Rivera stinks and he's about to get fired.

[00:47:39]

Ron Rivera is lost. Where is he? Facing the wrong direction. The wrong direction. I'm on one today, man.

[00:47:46]

You really are. All right, let's get to Fuentez as a top five. And then Mikey has Billy's big board bets brought to you by whoever because Billy is not here. He let us know an hour ago, and Mikey is going to do that for us. So go ahead, Fuentez, first you with the top five.

[00:47:59]

We have two minutes, so I'm going to fly through these. Go, fly. Number five, the Cardinals, they shouldn't be winning games.

[00:48:04]

Okay, we're just the top five first.

[00:48:07]

We did the last segment, things that shouldn't be. Okay. So number five, the Cardinals shouldn't be winning games. What are you trying to do here? You're keeping Calomir or what? Yeah. Okay, number four, there shouldn't be any questions about Doc Prescott's contract extension.

[00:48:17]

There.

[00:48:19]

Shouldn't be any content.

[00:48:21]

I don't know what he said. I can tell you what made me sad from the NFL yesterday quickly. Joe Flacko.

[00:48:26]

Anyway, go ahead. There shouldn't be any questions about Doc's contract extension. Not because Doc is good, it's because there's so much bad quarterback play. My God. If you have anybody like that, you got.

[00:48:33]

To hold on to it.

[00:48:33]

All right, three, faster. Number three, Derrick Carr shouldn't be a starting quarterback.

[00:48:36]

That's good. That's good.

[00:48:37]

He's the guy you think you want until you get him.

[00:48:40]

He sticks. All right, number two.

[00:48:41]

The NFC South, they shouldn't get a playoff team. We can have a committee.

[00:48:45]

Decide that playoff spot. The Falcons are hosting the Cowboys right now.

[00:48:49]

Nfc South Committee.

[00:48:50]

Yeah, to determine who gets that.

[00:48:51]

Playoff spot. Nfc South Committee is.

[00:48:53]

A great idea. But you don't pick a team from the NFC South. The committee gives it to the Buffalo Bills. Use it for the main show. You can have it. Okay, number one, FSU, they should have been left out of the College football playoff.

[00:49:03]

It's.

[00:49:04]

You're going to get Tate, Rod, Maker back in a month. He only had a concussion. He got better. And then Cardell Jones won a national championship. He was a.

[00:49:11]

Third-stream quarter-maker. You can't say anything better than the NFC South Committee.

[00:49:14]

Yeah, that was it. You had us there. That should have been number one. Are you done?

[00:49:18]

Yes, Mikey, fly through this. Okay.

[00:49:21]

All right, let's go. You have 39 seconds. Joe Mixing.

[00:49:24]

Over two and a half %.

[00:49:25]

That's a small throw.

[00:49:26]

Trevor Lawrence, over two and a half, 42 yards fast. Right? Evening group. Over 45 and a half yards received.

[00:49:34]

Okay. Good. Mikey, wow.

[00:49:36]

Efficient. That was fantastic.

[00:49:37]

Well, because he did it on three separate pieces of paper. Had it been a.

[00:49:41]

One big board? We're still like a race.

[00:49:44]

Mikey's multiple pieces of paper brought to you by, something something something.

[00:49:48]

You have to announce your top five before you deliver that top five. We said it like 50 times. Chris maintains it was off there.

[00:49:53]

Chris was rambling around Little Wayne, all this crap. And then I'm like, God damn it, we.

[00:49:57]

Got to go fast. God-bless football, Stugats.

[00:50:00]

God-blessfootball, everyone. God-bless you.
