You're listening to DraftKings Network. Have you ever, guys... Let me do it again. Have you ever, guys... Start over. 3, 2, 1. Have you guys ever seen a show or a movie and see the type of people who like it and see that it's really respected and really I don't want to like it, but you just can't. Yeah, newsroom. For real? I haven't even given a chance.

[00:00:37]

Who do you know that likes that show that you're like, I want to be like them or I want to be cool with them?

[00:00:41]

He's right. People talk about it with such reverence. Do they? Yeah, they really do. They love that show. Best writing I've ever seen. You've never seen it? No, that's what people say. That's what people say about it.

[00:00:50]

I had that with Game of Thrones, where I was like, Everyone's talking about this. Everyone really likes this. I'm going to get it. It wasn't necessarily the people that were watching it that I was like, I want to be like them. But I was Everyone loves this. I couldn't get through one episode. Wait, so is the question, it's a show and you want to be the fan, so you want to get into the show, or is it the opposite? It's like a show that you're thinking about and then you see the fans, you're like, Yeah, no, I'm not interested in that. The first.

[00:01:13]

Everyone seems to, like what Sugat said, Everyone seems to really respect them. People I respect, really respect this show. Let me give it a try. And you're like, What Chris just said. Game of Thrones, I can't get through one episode. So what is it for you. For me, it's Dune. Dune with Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet. And everyone made this big deal. It's this remake and it's awesome. It's the greatest filmmaking ever. I'm like, All right, Dune, let's watch it. It was on HBO Max, and I threw it on. Or Max, excuse me. I threw it on, and 15 minutes in, I fell asleep. But I was like, You know what? I was tired. It was late. I was not watching it at 10 o'clock. What did you expect? Others raised the bar. They raised the bar so high that it's impossible for the show to meet expectations. I don't even know if it's that. That happened to me with Breaking Bad, actually. I don't even know if they raise the bars to God so much as like... It's boring. It's a boring-ass movie. It doesn't speak to me. I've never gotten past 15 minutes. Every time I try watching, I fall asleep.

[00:02:14]

I have a show like that. It's happened to me multiple times, but I feel like I can't say it because this person is a friend of the show and stuff.

[00:02:23]

Is it Parks and Rec? No, I know the show. Is it Scrubs? It's Ted Lasso.

[00:02:28]

It is. Wow. I've tried three different times, and every time I've fallen asleep in it. Then I go back to try a third or fourth time, and then my wife will flat out say, No, we've tried already. Wow, even your wife's out. She's really the driving force because everybody talks about it, and I'm like, This is a thing. Everybody says it's so positive and so great. Maybe it was me. Maybe it was me. It was tired. It was late. It was tired. Maybe it was me. Then it happens again. I was like, Oh, maybe it was me. Then my wife is finally, by the fourth time, she's like, No, we've given it a try. Not for us. I was like, Okay, well, not going to get in a fight over Ted Lasso.

[00:03:06]

Billy, I have a confession to make. I, too, tried Ted Lasso, and it wasn't for me.

[00:03:13]

I'm not saying it wasn't for me. I'm not It wasn't for me. I'm just saying it hasn't been yet. Did you guys get to the fourth or fifth episode? Because I remember season one, you got to push through. If you get to four or five, it really starts cooking. I'm getting to it. I fell asleep twice in the first episode.

[00:03:28]

I'm with Billy on I got another one. I got one for you. Okay. Payton's Places. I'm getting to it. I've never given it a try.

[00:03:36]

They're really on a downward trajectory with these places. They've run out of places. It's like John McEnroe's Places down. I'm like, Oh. No way. Where's he going? He's talking. No, he's breaking down. I think it's like breaking down tennis athletes, right? But isn't it going to a place and experiencing it? Isn't that what it used to be? What Payton would go to Chicago. What's the one that Kobe did, too? Detail? Maybe that's what McEnroe is doing. Detail. I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

[00:04:00]

Detail was the most boring film session ever. It's accurate. I remember-The concept is cool. The execution was. Taking people behind the scenes. But I was like, You guys have seen the thrill of NBA video sessions. It's not fun. Why everybody hates them. I love Billy's wife as TV Commissioner in the house, though.

[00:04:18]

A hundred %. Yeah.

[00:04:21]

No, we've tried this, Billy. You're going to trust him? But that happened to me with Breaking Bad. We have tried that four or five different times, and the fifth time, my wife's like, enough.
