[00:01:21]

Tweet, tweet, tweet, cacah.

[00:01:22]

Those are all sounds we hear around the big city. Oh, so cool. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we're so excited to be at the Children's Museum of Manhattan with you.

[00:01:33]

[00:01:39]

What's that sound? Do you hear that?

[00:01:42]

I think it's coming from over here.Let's go.Come on.

[00:01:48]

Oh, Mika, Ms.

[00:01:49]

Rachel. I found out what the sound was. It was a choo-choo train.

[00:01:54]

Yeah.

[00:01:55]

Do you hear the choo-choo? Cool.

[00:01:59]

Yeah.

[00:02:00]

Choo, choo, here comes the train.

[00:02:03]

Choo, choo, here comes the train. We're going down the track, going to get there fast, yeah.

[00:02:09]

Choo, choo, here comes the train.

[00:02:11]

I could spend all day watching you go. Choo, choo.

[00:02:17]

That's funny. Whoa, and look at all these trains. Yeah. You know, there are a lot of different kinds of trains. There are trains that run on electricity, electric trains. There are 15 trains trains, and there are even gas trains like diesel trains.

[00:02:33]

That's so cool.

[00:02:35]

And these subways are electric trains. These are the New York City subways. This is really cool. A lot of people get around on subways. That's how I get around.

[00:02:46]

That's awesome.

[00:02:48]

I love the subway.

[00:02:49]

They go so fast. They can connect.

[00:02:55]

A subway train can be really long because it has different subway cars all connected together.

[00:03:01]

Wow.

[00:03:02]

Here we go.

[00:03:04]

Let's make the biggest subway ever.

[00:03:39]

Check it out.

[00:03:41]

It's a food truck.

[00:03:43]

Yeah, that was the sound that we were hearing. It came from the truck.

[00:03:46]

They serve food, but they are also trucks.

[00:03:49]

Check out the steering wheel.

[00:03:52]

Come on.

[00:03:54]

Look, it has a big steering wheel, and it has basically everything Everything else you'd have in a truck. It has a gas pedal and a break, and you can drive it around town. Buckle up. Here we go. Oh, for a ride? Here we go. Remember, first things first. Safety first. Food truck, food truck. We have some fresh, yummy food. Well, actually, what food do we have?

[00:04:23]

Oh, are we parked?

[00:04:26]

We're parked. Okay, good.

[00:04:28]

Okay, well, if you come around here, my lovely customers, there's lots of food on this food truck, so just step right up, order anything you'd like. I could probably make it.

[00:04:36]

[00:05:32]

And here you go. Here's $10. Wow, so generous. Thank you. Okay, time to taste it. Yeah. Oh, that's yummy.

[00:05:47]

I'm glad you like it.

[00:05:47]

Here we go. I'll save that for later. Okay.

[00:05:52]

Wow, there's so many different sounds in the city. There really are. I hear another sound. I do, too. Me, three. Let's go. Come on. I think it's over there. Oh, a subway car.

[00:06:08]

I love the subway. Yeah, a subway car is a train that runs underground in New York City.

[00:06:15]

Yeah, and that's what we were hearing, music from the subway. Let's go inside. Come on.

[00:06:25]

Look at this place.

[00:06:27]

There's so many instruments I really like this one because it's one of my favorite colors, purple. Let's see. I see a mallet. I see it. Cool.

[00:06:42]

What did you find, Blippy?

[00:06:48]

Whoa, look, I found this box, and it looks like it's a box drum called a cahon. Cool. And you play this instrument with your hands. Oh, nice. Let's play some music. Great. Here we go.

[00:07:08]

That was fun.

[00:07:10]

Wow, Blippy. And Ms. Rachel, what is that?

[00:07:13]

It's a really big, colorful instrument. And here's a ballon. Cool. Hey, can you get something to tap at home to play along with us? Tap, tap, tap. Tap, tap, tap. Good job. Tap, tap, tap. Hey, should we all make up a song together? Yeah. Let's do it. Three, two, one. Let's have some fun. Yeah, nice. Music is so much fun.

[00:07:51]

I like to play with everyone.

[00:07:54]

I like to listen. I like to play. I'm having the very best day. Music is my favorite thing. I love to dance. I love to sing.

[00:08:09]

That was so fun.

[00:08:14]

Yeah, that was awesome.

[00:08:15]

Music is one of my favorite sounds.

[00:08:17]

Me too.

[00:08:18]

Oh, and all of the instruments we were playing were percussion instruments because you need to tap them to make sounds.

[00:08:25]

That's right. Hey, speaking of sound, do Can you hear that? Let's check it out. Yeah, let's go. Come on. The sound we heard was a bus.

[00:08:40]

Oh, yeah, that's right. It was the honking horn. Honk, honk.

[00:08:43]

Yeah, beep, beep.

[00:08:45]

Bum, beep.

[00:08:46]

Honk, beep.

[00:08:47]

Yeah, busses are really cool because they're above ground and you can see a lot of the city that way.

[00:08:54]

Hey, why don't you drive the bus and we ride in the back? Yeah, I would love to. Okay, good luck, bus driver, Mika.

[00:09:00]

Oh, I thank you so much.

[00:09:02]

Everybody in and buckle up. Okay, safety first. All right, you ready? Yeah. Let's explore.

[00:09:10]

Hey, let's play I-Spy. That's a good idea.

[00:09:14]

Yeah. I spy with my little eye something green. Can you guess what it is?

[00:09:24]

Oh. Is it that really big park over there? Yes, you got it, Mika.

[00:09:30]

Look, I see a little puppy in the park. That's cute. Oh, how about I give it a go?

[00:09:37]

Yeah, go, Flippy.

[00:09:39]

I spy with my little eye, something very, very, very tall.

[00:09:46]

Is it that tree?

[00:09:49]

That's close.

[00:09:50]

Is it that really tall building over there?

[00:09:53]

Yeah, Mika, that's right. That's the tallest building ever.

[00:09:57]

It's a humongous skyscraper. Yeah.

[00:09:59]

Oh, I spy with my little eye. Oh, something really big, and it's over the water.

[00:10:11]

Oh, Miga, isn't that Goose?

[00:10:14]

Guack, guack, guack.

[00:10:15]

No.

[00:10:16]

Guck, guck, guck. I think I know. Is it the Bridge? Yep. Oh, did you hear that? That's our stop. I do. I hear that sound. Let's go check it out. Come on.

[00:10:30]

Here we go.

[00:10:33]

The sound we heard was people playing at the playground.

[00:10:39]

It looks like there's so many fun things to play with here.

[00:10:42]

Whoa, look at this. Blocks.

[00:10:44]

Here you go. Look, two of my favorite colors, purple and yellow.

[00:10:51]

I found two red blocks.

[00:10:54]

Maybe we can build something really fast. Let's see, what can we do? Maybe A really tall tower? Yeah, great idea.

[00:11:07]

I'll put the final touch on it. Here we go.

[00:11:12]

Oh, that fell down.

[00:11:16]

But that's okay. Really fun playing with Fox.

[00:11:19]

What else can we play at the playground? Do you guys want to play hide and seek? Yeah. You guys hide and I'll count. Good idea. Okay. Help me count. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. Ready or not, here I come. Where could they be? No one's on the slide. Maybe over here? I found you. Where's Blippy? I don't know. Let's look together. Yeah. He's not on the bridge. Do you see Blippy anywhere? Oh, under here? Okay. I see you, Blippy. You found me.

[00:12:11]

He was hiding in the window.

[00:12:13]

That was a good hiding spot.

[00:12:15]

Oh, you were really good at seeking. Oh, that was so much fun today. Yeah. We had a lot of fun playing and learning, doing all kinds of things.

[00:12:24]

We really did.

[00:12:25]

What was your favorite part? Well, my favorite part was learning about the trains that there are diesel trains, electric trains, and Choo Choo steam trains.

[00:12:34]

Choo Choo. Yeah.

[00:12:35]

It was so cool to play with you, Ms. Rachel.

[00:12:38]

That was my favorite part, being with Liffy and Mika. Mine too. Hey.

[00:12:44]

I think this calls for a 10-second dance party. Yeah, dance party, go.

[00:12:50]

Yeah, dance with us.

[00:12:57]

Oh, that was fun.

[00:13:00]

Well, thank you so much for spending the day with us, Ms. Rachel, and having lots of fun playing. It was the best day. Hugs?

[00:13:06]

Oh, yeah, group hug. Yeah, group hug. It was a fun day.

[00:13:10]

Bye. I have to go catch the bus. All right. See you later, Ms.

[00:13:13]

Rachel. Bye, Ms. Rachel. That was awesome. Yeah.

[00:13:17]

Well, that's the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of our videos, all you have to do is search for our names. Hey, can you spell my name with us? Okay, here we go. Ready?

[00:13:31]

B-l-i-p-p-i.

[00:13:32]

Blippy. Good job. Nice.

[00:13:35]

Will you spell my name with us? Cool.

[00:13:41]

M-e-e-p-a-h. Mika.

[00:13:44]

Well, we'll see you soon. Bye-bye. Bye.

[00:13:46]

Hey, it's me, Blippy. And today we're at Creation Station in Studio City, California. Yeah, I love this place. This is a place where you can dance. Yeah, they have dance lessons here. And you know I love dancing. But first, I have someone really special to introduce to you. Hey, Blippy. Hey, Mika. Hi, everyone. This is Mika. She's my best friend.

[00:14:16]

You're my best friend.

[00:14:18]

So silly. I'm so excited because we're at a dance studio. Yeah. Are you ready to dance? I'm so excited. Yeah, let's go. Come on. Whoa. But we should probably warm up before we do some dancing today.

[00:14:34]

Yeah, look at all these things we can warm up to.

[00:14:37]

Oh, yeah. Cones. Check it out. Look at the colors. We have yellow cone. Orange. Blueish purple. Purple. Another orange one.

[00:14:52]

Green. Yeah, and one more. Blue.

[00:14:57]

Yeah. All right. How about we use our feet for some agility? Ready?

[00:15:05]

Yeah, go for it. Really fast, Glippy?

[00:15:09]

Yeah. You're doing well. You're doing well. You're doing well. Hey, a hula hoop. Yeah. Why don't you try hula hoopy?

[00:15:16]

Okay.

[00:15:17]

Here we go. You put it around your waist and you...

[00:15:22]

Yeah, Mika. You're really good. Thank you. Oh, Whoa, check it out. Three orange balls.

[00:15:33]

Can you jog them?

[00:15:35]

Yeah, I can. Yeah. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa, look at these. All right, what can we do with these? I have an idea. Why don't we toss them to each other at the same time? Yeah, let's try it. Ready? Yep. Three, two, one. Three, two, one. Whoa. Whoa. Nice. Whoa. Whoa.

[00:15:59]

My Getting warm. All right.

[00:16:05]

Are we warming up the stretch?

[00:16:06]

Yeah, let's do some stretches. All right. Yeah. Start your toes.

[00:16:11]

Oh, yeah.

[00:16:12]

It feels good to stretch.

[00:16:14]

Yeah, it does. Nice leg stretching. Now we're going to be able to dance really good.

[00:16:20]

Yeah, I cannot wait to dance.

[00:16:24]

Do you hear that? Yeah. It sounds It's like beautiful music. I wonder if someone's dancing to the music. Let's go see. All right, let's go. Yeah.

[00:17:00]

Oh, look.

[00:17:02]

It's someone doing ballet? Yeah, that's what the music was. So pretty.

[00:17:09]

She's really good.

[00:17:10]

Yeah, very graceful. Yeah.

[00:17:15]

Wow. So good.

[00:17:19]

Thank you.

[00:17:21]

Wow. Who are you? Hi, I'm Ms. Natalie. It's nice to meet you guys. Who are you?

[00:17:27]

Hi, I'm Mika. I'm Blippy. Hi, Blippy.

[00:17:30]

Hi, Mika. It's nice to meet you guys. Yeah.

[00:17:32]

Nice to meet you. Are you a dancer?

[00:17:36]

I am. I'm a real-life professional dancer, and I was just doing some ballet. Would you guys like to learn some ballet with me?

[00:17:43]

Yeah. Excellent.

[00:17:45]

Come on over to the bar. We'll get you guys all set up.

[00:17:49]

Cool bar. What is this?

[00:17:51]

Thank you. This is our ballet bar. Our professional ballerinas learn balances and how to be more flexible all with this bar. The first thing a ballerina needs to know is first position. You're going to get those feet together nice and tight, and just open up your toes like a piece of pizza. Pizza. Then stand up super tall. I like to only put two fingers on the bar, so we're not putting too much weight on it, but just enough to stand super tall.

[00:18:17]

Okay.

[00:18:19]

Now, there are some ballet moves that we need to know because they're important, and then there are some that are just super tall. We're going to start with one that's important. Always use plié. Can you guys say plié? Plie.

[00:18:30]

Plie.

[00:18:31]

Excellent. We're just going to bend down, but keep tall. Yeah, and then set it back up, and then down. And up. Look at you. You look like a real ballet dancer. Yeah. Do you guys think you know what plié might mean? Our knees do it when we do the plie.

[00:18:47]

They're bending.

[00:18:49]

Yes, that's so good.

[00:18:51]

Plie means to bend.

[00:18:52]

That makes sense. We look like frogs, though. Like we're about to jump in the air. Exactly. That's what we're looking Wow. Really?

[00:19:01]

We're going to take that plié and we're going to jump straight up into the sky and land back in that first position.

[00:19:08]

That was really cool.

[00:19:08]

That move is called sauté. Can you guys say sauté?

[00:19:13]

Saute. Perfect.

[00:19:14]

Saute means to jump. You got it.

[00:19:17]

You guys are so smart. I saw it.

[00:19:23]

So good. Okay, another important one. That one was super fun. Another important one is passe. Passe. You're going to slide that toe up to your knee, finding your balance. Keep that knee pushed back, stand super tall, and you're going to stand a little right back down. It's like an elevator ride. Your toe takes up the leg.

[00:19:45]

Jay is going for a ride.

[00:19:46]

Then back down to first position.

[00:19:49]

Okay.

[00:19:52]

You guys are pro.

[00:19:55]

That's so good.

[00:19:56]

Wow. That is really fun.

[00:19:59]

One more at the Okay. Also super important. Tendu.

[00:20:04]

Tendu.

[00:20:05]

Tendu. It's like what you did next door. It's the first thing I do in the morning.

[00:20:10]

It means to stretch. I love stretching.

[00:20:14]

It's for our leg and our ankle. You're going to stay in that first position. You're going to do your best to slide that toe forward, keep your toe on the floor, and then slide it back. Perfect. Then use the other leg, slide it forward as far as you can and stretch. Then bring it back to first.

[00:20:32]

That feels good.

[00:20:33]

Yeah, it does.

[00:20:34]

Ton, two. Ton, two. Excellent. That's to the front. You can also go side. Okay. Then to the other side. You can also go back. Then you can connect all those tendoos and make a circle around yourself.

[00:20:53]

This is fun. It feels like skating. Yeah. We learned a A lot of ballet already.

[00:21:01]

So many words, huh? If you can help me move this far, I'm going to teach you just two or three more fun words, and then we can put some music.

[00:21:09]

Okay.

[00:21:10]

Thank you. There we go. You got enough space there? Yeah. Perfect. Okay, we're going to stay in that first position. Okay. Feet are together. Toes are open. Let's push our hands on our hips. Yes. We remember saute. Sote.

[00:21:28]

Sote.

[00:21:28]

Means to Jump.

[00:21:31]

Jump. Excellent.

[00:21:33]

So we're going to do eight super quiet sautés. Ready?

[00:21:37]

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

[00:21:42]

That was perfect. Now we're going to jump open and close.

[00:21:46]

This is called A-chape. A-chape.

[00:21:52]

That's a new word.

[00:21:53]

Yeah, it is.

[00:21:53]

It's like a jumping jack, so it's super easy. Just jump open, use that plié, and then jump close. You got it. A-chape.

[00:22:01]

A-chape.

[00:22:02]

One more. Hey, Chape. Perfect. Nice.

[00:22:07]

Wow, we did really good. Can I give you one more jump?

[00:22:10]

Sure.

[00:22:11]

Okay, instead of being in first, I'm going to take your heel to your toe. This is called fifth position.

[00:22:19]

Fifth.

[00:22:20]

Okay. Yeah. So this jump, we call it Shanjma, and it means to change. So all you have to do is jump up in the air and land with your other I'll put in front. Okay. Can you try? Yeah.

[00:22:33]

Sounds tricky. One, two, three. Shanjma. You did it. That was perfect.

[00:22:39]

Let's try to do three Shanjmas in a row. All right. Ready? Okay. One, two, three.

[00:22:48]

Perfect. You did it. That was awesome.

[00:22:54]

I'm so proud of you guys. You learned so much.

[00:22:57]

Thank you so much. You're teaching us.

[00:22:59]

You're welcome.

[00:23:00]

I don't know. Do we want to put it to music?

[00:23:03]

Yeah, that sounds fun. All right, let's hit that music. All right.

[00:24:59]

That was a beautiful ballet number, you guys.

[00:25:04]

Thank you so much for teaching us. You're so welcome.

[00:25:07]

I teach another style of dance, too, if you guys want to learn it.

[00:25:12]

Yeah, what style is it?

[00:25:14]

Task Dance.

[00:25:16]

Yeah.

[00:25:16]

That means we have to change our shoes, and then we'll come right back.

[00:25:20]

All right, let's go. Yeah. All right. Wow.

[00:25:29]

You guys put your shoes on super fast. Yeah, thanks.

[00:25:32]

You're so excited.

[00:25:34]

Oh, you did, too. Yes. Thank you. Okay. Two important things to know about our tap shoes before we start. Okay. The tap shoe has two metal, shiny parts, right? . No, they do. Okay, we have to learn what they're called. So up here, I mean, what's in that part of your tap shoe? Are your fingers in there?

[00:25:52]

No.

[00:25:53]

No, it's your toes. So we're going to call this the toe. Okay. The other part is called the... Heel? The heel. Exactly right. So the first few things we learn are going to be super easy peasy. Put that leg out. Don't let it move. But you got to tap your toe. I love that sound.

[00:26:15]

Excellent. Good.

[00:26:17]

Can we try the other foot? Perfect. Now we're going to use the same part of your shoe, but you're going to put it behind you. It's It's called knock-knock. Yeah, like knocking on a door.

[00:26:35]

Let's try the other foot.

[00:26:36]

Knock, knock, knock. Excellent.

[00:26:40]

Now, with the knock-knock, you can switch. Hey. Nice. Then you can jump. Excellent. Very Very good.

[00:27:01]

Nice, Flitty. You too, Mika. Good.

[00:27:04]

Now, let's switch and use our heels. Okay. Put it out in the front seat and dig, dig, dig.

[00:27:10]

Dig, dig, dig. Excellent.

[00:27:14]

Very good. Let's try the other foot.

[00:27:16]

Dig, dig, dig.

[00:27:19]

Dig, dig, dig.

[00:27:20]

You got it, you guys.

[00:27:21]

So easy. The next one is going to be a shuffle. Can we say, Shuffle, step.

[00:27:28]

Shuffle, step.

[00:27:29]

How many sounds do you think a Shuffle, step is?

[00:27:32]

Shuffle, step.

[00:27:34]

Three. Three sounds. You got it. We're going to start like a flamenco bird. Find the balance. And we sweep the floor.

[00:27:42]

Sweep the floor. Perfect.

[00:27:46]

Now, what's important with the Shuffles is that our heels don't touch. It's just for the toes. So keep your heel off just your toe.

[00:27:55]

Shuffle.

[00:27:56]

You got it.

[00:27:57]

That was very good. Okay, I'll try. Shuffle. Four.

[00:28:02]

Holy cow.

[00:28:02]

Good job. Perfect. You're a top dancer.

[00:28:06]

Yeah, I am. Okay, we're going to learn an even harder one. Okay. This one is a paradiddle.

[00:28:13]

Paradiddle.

[00:28:14]

One, One, two, three, four. Perfect.

[00:28:17]

Four sounds. We start with that dig. When you pick up your foot, you're going to hit the floor. You got it, and then set it down toe heel.

[00:28:26]

Toe heel.

[00:28:26]

Yeah, you got it. Let's try the other leg.

[00:28:30]

Dig, spank, toe, heel.

[00:28:34]

Can we do it all together? Yeah. Five, six, seven, and big, spank, toe, heel, dig, spank. Yeah, one more. You got it.

[00:28:47]

Other foot, ding, spank, toe, heel. I messed up.

[00:28:53]

That's okay?

[00:28:54]

Yeah.

[00:28:54]

Messing up is totally fine as long as you're having fun.

[00:28:57]

Yeah, and I sure am having fun.

[00:28:59]

Yeah, me too. Perfect.

[00:28:59]

Let's learn a fun one. All right. Get those feet moving as fast as you can.

[00:29:03]

And then it goes in a circle.

[00:29:10]

Excellent fast feet. Then one more favorite move of mine is called Fa lap, fa lap, fa lap. Two steps. Like I said with the shovel, you got to try to stay on your toes, and you're going to kick a ball forward and then step on it. Yeah, that was pretty darn good. Can you try the other foot? For a lap. For a lap. I know this one's a little sticky. For a lap. So think about down. For a lap. Yes. You. For a lap. There you go. You got it. And this is a moving step. So you can walk around a circle doing for a lap.

[00:29:48]

Whoa.

[00:29:52]

There you go.

[00:29:54]

It's hard.

[00:29:57]

I like how it's down.

[00:29:59]

Yeah. Yeah.

[00:30:01]

Very good. Excellent. Then another easy peasy moving one. It's just like walking.

[00:30:08]

Heel toe, heel, toe.

[00:30:11]

Heel, toe, heel, toe.

[00:30:13]

You guys got it.

[00:30:15]

Yeah. That was really fun.

[00:30:17]

Should we try to put all those tap moves into a tap dance?

[00:30:21]

Yeah. Let's hear that music.

[00:30:24]

Let's hear that music.

[00:30:24]

Okay.

[00:31:32]

Yeah, that was awesome.

[00:31:35]

That was cool, you guys.

[00:31:37]

Thanks for teaching us how to tap dance. You're welcome.

[00:31:41]

Excellent memories, too.

[00:31:42]

Thank you. You're a great teacher.

[00:31:44]

Thank you. You know, I have another teacher here who teaches another style of dance. If you are up to learning one more style. Yeah.

[00:31:52]

He teaches hip hop. Hip hop sounds really cool. Yeah, it does.

[00:31:59]

His name is Mr. Caden, and he's just down the hall.

[00:32:01]

Here, follow me. Okay, we're going to get our shoes first, though. Yeah, shoes. Okay. All right. Yeah. Wow. Cool. Hi, friends. Hey. I'm Nika. And I'm Blippy.

[00:32:18]

[00:32:21]

Wow, that was really good.

[00:32:23]

Yeah, that wasn't bad. Thank you. Do you guys want to learn some hip hop moves? Yeah. Yeah. Okay, well, first, do you guys know what hip hop is?

[00:32:32]

A type of dance?

[00:32:33]

Yeah. Yes, it is a type of dance, but it's all types of dance mixed together into one. Cool. Yeah, it's ballet dancing and tap dancing and jazz dancing all put together. There we have hip hop. Yeah. Okay. Do you want to learn some moves? Yeah. Okay. Ready? First, we're going to dust off our shoulders. Ready? We're going to take our left hand and we're going to dust off our shoulder.

[00:33:01]

It's dirty.

[00:33:02]

Yeah. Ready? And then we're going to do it to the other side. Dust it off.

[00:33:08]

Dusting our shoulder.

[00:33:10]

Yeah.

[00:33:11]

Wow, you guys are so good at that. Oh, thank you.

[00:33:15]

[00:33:16]

Thank you. Okay, ready? Do you want to learn another move? Yeah. So we're going to raise the roof.

[00:33:22]

Ready?

[00:33:23]

You're going to take your hands. You place them up like they're on the ceiling. Like that. And ready? You're going to push the ceiling up.

[00:33:29]

It's really heavy. Yeah.

[00:33:33]

Right?

[00:33:33]

Yeah. Raise the roof.

[00:33:35]

Wow.

[00:33:36]

Race the roof. Race the roof. Perfect.

[00:33:39]

Wow. You guys are really going to hit pop. Thank you. Ready? Another move. We're going to put our pants on. Ready? All we do is we're going to grab it and put it up. Okay.

[00:33:53]

Ready?

[00:33:53]

Grab your pants and put them on. Ready? We'll do it to the other side. Ready? All right. Grab your pants and put them on. Yeah. Let's try one more time. Ready? Grab your pants, put them on. Other side. Grab your pants, put them on.

[00:34:06]

Yeah.

[00:34:08]

Okay. Ready? We're going to learn another hip hop move.

[00:34:13]

So many moves.

[00:34:16]

Ready? We're going to do a hip hop slide. Do you guys like water slides or anything like that?

[00:34:20]

Yeah.

[00:34:20]

We love going down slide.

[00:34:22]

So much fun. Well, ready? We're going to learn a hip hop slide. All you're going to do, you're going to take your hand and push it away. At the same Next time, you're going to slide your feet over to the right side.

[00:34:33]

Okay.

[00:34:35]

You do the exact same thing on the other side. Take your right-hand, push it away. Left foot, slide. Ready to try it one more time? Ready? Slide to slide to the right. And slide to the left.

[00:34:50]

That's not good.

[00:34:53]

It's only okay. Ready? We're going to learn a super cool move.

[00:34:58]

Okay.

[00:34:58]

This This is called a floor spin.

[00:35:02]

A floor spin?

[00:35:02]

What? Okay, all you're going to do is you're going to sit on the floor. Ready? Let's sit on the floor. All right. Ready? We're going to sit with our feet out just like this. All you're going to do, make sure you have all your weight on your hands behind you. All your weight on You're going to push your hands?

[00:35:15]

Yeah, I think so.

[00:35:16]

Ready? All you're going to do is you're going to push your hands around and then strike a pose.

[00:35:22]

Yeah. Ready? Do you guys want to try it? Yeah. Ready?

[00:35:26]

Let's go. Ready?

[00:35:26]

And go.

[00:35:29]

And ready?

[00:35:30]

Strike a pose. Yeah. Yeah, Mika.

[00:35:35]

How did you get, Clippy? That was awesome.

[00:35:37]

That was awesome. You guys did so good. Thank you. Okay, now that we've learned all those hip hop moves, we just want to put it into a fun hip hop combo? Yeah. Okay, ready? Let's stand up and dance.

[00:35:49]

Let's do it.

[00:35:52]

So first, we're going to start with Raising the Roof. Let's go.

[00:35:56]

Okay.

[00:36:41]

That was awesome. That was so fun. Thank you so much for teaching us how to dance hip hop style. Yeah, it's so fun to move our bodies like that. Yeah. So, so far, we've learned how to do some ballet.

[00:37:00]

Slap and tap and hip hop.

[00:37:03]

Yeah, three different styles of dance.

[00:37:06]

Oh, maybe Mika and I, we should have a show. Yeah, let's do it.

[00:37:12]

It can be the Blippy and Mika Dance Recital.

[00:37:16]

Yeah. Do you want to come to the show?

[00:37:18]

Yes, I'd love to come. All right. See you there.

[00:37:20]

See you there. Welcome to the Blippy and Mika Dance Recital.

[00:37:29]

Hope you

[00:40:00]

Joy. Yeah. Yeah, you got it. That was so good. Good job. Yeah. That was so fun. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for coming. Thank you for coming. Yeah.

[00:40:28]

Oh, that was so much fun dancing with you today, Mika. It was so fun. Yeah. We learned three types of dancing. Yep, ballet, tap, and hip hop. Yeah. What one did you like doing most today, Mika?

[00:40:45]

Oh, I really love tap dancing with those cool tap shoes. Oh, yeah. What was your favorite?

[00:40:50]

Let's see. Well, I love tap dancing. That was cool. Hip hop was awesome. Oh, yeah. And ballet was so beautiful. Yeah. All three were so cool. Yeah. Well, this is the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of my videos, all you have to do is search for my name. Will you spell my name with me? B-l-i-p-p-i. Blippy. Good job. Wait a second. Mika, how do you spell your name?

[00:41:21]

I'll show you. N-e-e-k-a-h.

[00:41:26]

Mika. Cool. All right, see you again. See you soon. Bye-bye. Hey, it's me, Blippy, and today I'm at Discovery Cube in Los Angeles, California. I am so excited to show you around. But first, I have someone really special to introduce to you.

[00:41:49]

Hey, Plippy.

[00:41:50]

Hey, Mika.

[00:41:50]

Hi, everyone.

[00:41:51]

This is Mika, and she's my best friend.

[00:41:54]

Oh, Plippy, you're my best friend.

[00:41:56]

Oh, no, Mika, you're my best friend.

[00:42:00]

I'm so excited to go in and explore a Discovery Cube. Yeah, let's go. Whoa.

[00:42:09]

Whee. Yeah.

[00:42:11]

What are you doing, Mika?

[00:42:14]

I'm being I'm going to be an airplane. Oh, me too.

[00:42:17]

I'm acting like a big plane that carries passengers. Oh, wow.

[00:42:22]

I'm going to be a really little plane. Excuse me.

[00:42:27]

Now I'll be a jet that goes super fast. Oh, I want to see. You're so fast. Yeah, I love planes.

[00:42:39]

Oh, check it out.

[00:42:40]

What's that? Wow. We can make paper airplanes. Cool. Shall we? Yeah.

[00:42:47]

All right.

[00:42:48]

Okay, let's start with blank white pieces of paper. Okay.

[00:42:54]

Let's fold them. Go then.

[00:42:56]

Wow. I wonder who is going to fly Can we take our classroom further?

[00:43:00]

I don't know.

[00:43:02]

Probably yours. We'll have to race some. You're really good at this type of stuff, Mika.

[00:43:07]

Oh, thanks, Flippy. Yeah. I love making paper airplanes.

[00:43:11]

Oh, that's silly. Whoa. Here we go.

[00:43:17]

Whoa. Just warming it up.

[00:43:20]

Yours looks so good. All right. And I am almost done. Whoa. Does it look good?

[00:43:28]

I think your plane is going to go really far. Really? Check it out.

[00:43:33]

Wow. All right, shall we go see whose plane is more aerodynamic? Come on. Whoa. Cool. Oh, launch pad.

[00:43:46]

Launch pad, and look at these rings.

[00:43:48]

Wow. Maybe this launch pad will launch our paper airplanes, and we can make it through the ring.

[00:43:54]

Oh, okay.

[00:43:55]

All right.

[00:43:57]

3, 2, 1, go. Yeah, that was awesome. That was so fun. Let's do that again. Okay. Oh, wow. Yeah.

[00:44:11]

Do you want to switch launch pad? Sure. Okay. I'm going to see if mine can go through the big orange circle.

[00:44:17]

Okay, I'm going to aim for that circle, too. Okay, ready?

[00:44:21]

Yep.

[00:44:22]

Three, two, one. We both missed. That is so silly.

[00:44:29]

That was fun racing.

[00:44:31]

Yeah. Should we go over there? Yeah, that's nice. Looks like we can put some things on our arms and act like airplanes together. Oh, the seas? Yeah. Here comes the wind. Whoa.it's so windy. It's so windy.

[00:44:54]

It's so windy.

[00:44:57]

Yeah. It's a lot harder to stand up with these on. I think the wind was catching it.

[00:45:07]

It was, and it was pushing us back a little bit. Yeah, that was awesome.

[00:45:11]

Check it out. We're at the Competition Zone.

[00:45:17]

Yeah, here we get to build our own car and we can race each other on the car track.

[00:45:21]

Who do you think is going to win? I don't know.

[00:45:26]

I guess we have to see.

[00:45:26]

I'm guessing you're going to win, Mika. You're That's really good. You never know.

[00:45:31]

You're pretty fast. All right. Okay.

[00:45:35]

So the first step, we need to choose a chassis or a base.

[00:45:39]

Yeah. Okay, what base are you going to use?

[00:45:42]

Let's see. How about... Yeah. A blue base with an orange stripe. Yeah, like my blue shirt with an orange suspender.

[00:45:53]

That is a great choice for you, Boopy.

[00:45:56]

What about you, Mika?

[00:45:57]

I really like this one with the two different color blues. See? A light blue and a dark blue stripe in the middle.

[00:46:04]

Cool.

[00:46:05]

I like that.

[00:46:06]

All right, now for the top.

[00:46:09]

Choose a body for your car.

[00:46:10]

The top, a body? Cool. Our body of a car.

[00:46:15]

I like this blue one.

[00:46:16]

Oh, cool. You're going to go all blue, huh? Yeah. And then this, the body? I will do an orange car with the blue stripe. Yeah, the opposite of the bottom. So cool.

[00:46:31]

That's going to look really nice together.

[00:46:33]

Oh, thanks. Looks like we connect them like this, huh? Cool.

[00:46:38]

The magnetic, they stick really well together.

[00:46:41]

Yeah. And what does every car need? Whales. Yeah. All right. Let's pick out some wheels and tires. They're right here. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. It looks like we need four of them. Probably the same number that your car has.

[00:47:00]

Yeah.

[00:47:01]

Okay, here we go. All right.

[00:47:06]

Check it out.

[00:47:07]

Yeah. They're ready to race.

[00:47:13]

Oh, Mika. It looks like we can add some weight to make it heavier. Remove weights to make it lighter.Wow.

[00:47:22]

That's what it does.I wonder if that will help. Should we try?

[00:47:24]

Sure. I'll try a really small one. What are you going to try? I'll Let's try one, two. All right. I guess...

[00:47:34]

Oh, a scale.

[00:47:37]

Okay, let's see. Mine weighs 101.7 grams. Wow. All right, what about yours? Let's find out. 106.5. Even though my car is way bigger. Yeah. All right, shall we? Yeah, let's race it. Wow, check it out. This is the racetrack.

[00:48:07]

Hey, it matches my car really well. Oh, yeah, it does.

[00:48:11]

Check it out.

[00:48:12]

Wow.

[00:48:15]

All right, here we go. Wow. All right, now we're at the start of the racetrack. So let's get our cars ready.

[00:48:27]

Here's the laundry. We have to pull it back Can you count down with us?

[00:48:33]

Yeah. Three, two, one. Go. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. That was awesome. That was really fun. Who won? I don't know.

[00:48:49]

I think maybe mine by just a second.

[00:48:51]

Oh, yeah. Lane one, that's me. 4.1. Lane two, 3.72. Wow. Shall we try it again? Yeah, come on.

[00:49:06]

Okay.

[00:49:07]

Wait. Since your car won, do you mind if I try taking this weight off? Oh, yeah. Let's see if that helps. All right.

[00:49:16]

All right. And I'll keep mine on. Let's see if anything changes.

[00:49:19]

Okay.

[00:49:21]

Pull it back. Ready to count down?

[00:49:24]

Three, two, one. Go. Whoa. You won. I did win. Good job, Luffy. Thanks, Mika. Wow. Here's another racetrack. Shall we try this one out? Yeah, this one looks really cool. There's turns. Do you want to go first? Sure. Thanks. That's great. Okay.

[00:49:50]

I can't wait to see it do the loop-to-loop.

[00:49:54]

Yeah. 3, 2, 1. Go. Wow, look at it go. And around and around. Yeah, it's going so fast. Whoa, last corner. Whoa. Yeah, that was awesome, Mika. Wow, 12.96 seconds. That's right. Now it's your turn. All right, here we go. Are you ready? Yes. All right. 3, 2, 1. Go. Yeah. Whoa, look at it go.

[00:50:33]

Yeah, this track is really cool. Yeah, keep coming.

[00:50:37]

Yeah, just a little bit more. One more time. Okay.

[00:50:42]

Come on, guys. Whoa.

[00:50:46]

Yeah. Eighteen point two, two. Oh, Mika, you totally beat me.

[00:50:54]

I wonder if it's the weight?

[00:50:55]

I don't know. Might be the cool-looking blue car. Yeah. Oh, look at the green track. Hey. This time, I'm going to take one of my weight. Okay. Oh, can I borrow it?

[00:51:07]

You want to have this one? Sure. I'll have no weight.

[00:51:10]

All right, and I'll have one weight. Here we go. Yeah. Three, two, one.

[00:51:21]

Go. Yeah.

[00:51:23]

Yeah. Go, blue car. Go, blue car. Go, blue car. Yeah, Mika, that was awesome.

[00:51:32]

That was a fun one. Wow.

[00:51:35]

So fast. All right. Try it out. Ready? 3, 2, 1, go. Yeah. Yeah, it made it. Yeah. Whoa. Yeah, on the track. Whoa.

[00:51:56]

Yeah, that was awesome.

[00:51:59]

Shall we keep exploring? Yeah, let's go. Yeah. Whoa. Did you see that? Yeah, it went all the way up to the ceiling. And it made a circle.

[00:52:14]

It really did. So cool.

[00:52:18]

Some more smoke. It's cold.

[00:52:24]

Yeah, it's colder over here.

[00:52:26]

Yeah. Shall we try and get in? Okay. All right. Whoa, I can't see you. Okay, it's gone now. Whoa, check it out. Some windmills.

[00:52:40]

They're so tall.

[00:52:42]

And they're spinning because wind is blowing into them. Wow. It's really cool because when wind blows through the propeller type of thing, it harnesses the energy.

[00:52:55]

Yeah, it's really good for the Earth.

[00:52:57]

Yeah. And speaking of Earth, there's a lot of rocks around the Earth. And this is a fake rock wall. Yeah. Have you ever tried one? No. You want to? Yes. All right, you go first.

[00:53:12]

Okay, let's see. I love being active.

[00:53:17]

Very healthy for you. Wow. That's so nice. Wow, cool. All right, I'll follow you. All right, let's go. Can we go that way? Sure. All right.

[00:53:29]

Yeah.

[00:53:38]

Wow.

[00:53:40]

It brought us two.

[00:53:43]

Whoa. More wind fun.

[00:53:46]

Yeah. And look, a red scar?

[00:53:50]

And I have a blue and orange one tied together. Blippy, these are your favorite colors.

[00:53:55]

Oh, yeah, you're right. Blue and look, a yellow one. Wow. Do we have more colors?

[00:54:02]

Yes, here is a purple one. Oh, my God.

[00:54:05]

You love purple. I really do.

[00:54:08]

It's one of my favorite colors.

[00:54:09]

Yeah, it's the same color as their shirt. And? Oh, The last color. Check this out. When you push these buttons, a lot of wind comes from here all the way up.

[00:54:26]

I don't feel any wind in mine. Really? Let me try again.

[00:54:29]

Now I do.

[00:54:32]

Yeah, all right.

[00:54:33]

Yeah. Now, you know what to do.

[00:54:35]

[01:49:25]

Yeah, that's much better. But now everything that should be on the floor is on the ceiling.

[01:49:32]

Yeah. We were upside down, but now the room is upside down. Yeah. We must be in an upside down house. Oh, this is so cool. I love upside down houses. Why don't we go see what other rooms there are in the upside down house? Yeah. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. What a kitchen. Come on. Whoa.

[01:49:58]

This is awesome.

[01:49:59]

Look, the chairs are on the same as the table.

[01:50:03]

Yeah, and this countertop. There's even some eggs cooking. And stove top.

[01:50:10]

Salt and pepper.

[01:50:13]

And spatula. This is so cool.

[01:50:18]

What's for dinner? Look, it looks like breakfast. Yeah. Lites of pie.

[01:50:26]

Yeah, I love pie. Yum, yum, yum, yum. Whoa, this room is so cool. Can we keep exploring? Yeah. Whoa. Bye, bye, kitchen. Bye.

[01:50:38]

Whoa. Whoa, the living room.

[01:50:43]

Whoa. This is awesome.

[01:50:46]

This big couch is on the ceiling. Whoa.

[01:50:50]

I can almost touch it. Yeah, look at the chair. Whoa. This would be a fun room to watch your showing. Yeah. The on the ceiling is the moment to show it. Yeah. The honest I'm feeling much stronger. I have an idea. Why don't we have a living room dance party? Yeah, an upside down living room dance party.

[01:51:08]

Yeah. Yeah.

[01:51:12]

Nice dance moves. Yeah. Nice dance moves. Yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. Yeah, we saw so many cool things. Yeah.

[01:51:33]

Good thing I brought my camera. Yeah. Now we have this cool photo album.

[01:51:38]

Yeah, we took so many pictures.

[01:51:39]

Yeah. What was your favorite part of today? Right there.

[01:51:44]

I love the elephant.

[01:51:46]

Oh, yeah. That was so silly. Wow. Well, this is the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of my videos, all you have to do is search for my name. Will you spell my name with me? Yeah. B-l-i-p-p-i. Blippi. Good job. Wait a second. Nika, how do you spell your name? Oh, I'll tell you. N-e-e-k-a-h. Nika. Yeah. All right. See you soon. Bye-bye. Yeah. Oh, hey. It's me, Blippy. Hi, and I'm Mika.Yeah, and look at where we're at. Wow, a winter wonderland. Yeah, it's so pretty here.

[01:52:33]

We're at Plane Valley Ski Trails in Plane, Washington.

[01:52:37]

Yeah, this is a nonprofit where they teach any and every kid to learn to ski. Yeah, that's so cool. Hey, I want to learn how to ski. I do, too. Let's go.

[01:52:46]

Yeah.

[01:52:53]

Whoa. Whoa. Cool. Look at this place. Wow. Look at these. Whoa. Oh, they look like shoes.

[01:53:01]

Yeah, some boots.

[01:53:03]

Oh, they're really big. These ones are.

[01:53:07]

Yeah, these are smaller. Oh, there's some shoelaces in there.

[01:53:10]

Oh, really cool. Bright red shoelaces. Yeah. Wow. Oh, Look, Mika. Oh, there's someone in here.

[01:53:18]

Let's say hi.

[01:53:19]

Hey, who are you?

[01:53:21]

I'm Kyler, and I teach the Plane Valley Nord Team Ski Trails, and I manage the store.

[01:53:27]

Wow, cool. I'm Hey, I'm Mika.

[01:53:31]

You must know a lot about skiing.

[01:53:32]

Yep. Wow. Well, we would really love to go skiing today. Do you mind helping us? Yeah.

[01:53:39]

Let's start with your boots size. Okay.

[01:53:42]

Yeah, we saw this earlier. Yeah.

[01:53:43]

These look good for you. Thank you.

[01:53:46]

Nice, Mika.

[01:53:47]

This one look good for you.

[01:53:50]

Whoa. Cool. Spiffy. Yeah, very nice. What else do we need?

[01:53:54]

Next, let's grab your pool size. Okay. All righty. These ones look right for you. Cool. Thanks. And these ones look good for you.

[01:54:06]

Nice. Hello.

[01:54:10]

We have pools, boots. What else? Let's grab our skis. The most important.

[01:54:15]

Skis. Of course. All right.

[01:54:19]

Here is for me. Yes. Thank you.

[01:54:22]

This is going to be fun.

[01:54:24]

This is for you.

[01:54:26]

Mine are taller than yours.

[01:54:28]

Oh, maybe because you're taller than me.

[01:54:30]

Good observation.

[01:54:31]

All right, let's go outside. All right, let's go.

[01:54:39]

This is going to be so much fun. All right. Okay, how do we get started? And wait a second. What? Why do you have so many skis in there? Oh, yeah. Well, because one pair is classics and the other pair is skates. Skates. What's the difference? Let's see. Okay, here you go. Well, with skates, the bottom is smooth. See? Okay.

[01:55:06]

And with the classics, a little bit of the bottom is rough. Can you feel that? Yeah. That's where you get your kick in classic. With skate, that's where you get Kick in Classic. In Skate, that's where you want to glide.

[01:55:19]

Got you. Classics have these fish scale-looking things that grips to the snow so you can push off. Cool. All right. Really Cool. I think I want to try the classic. Yeah, that would be fun. What do you think? Yeah, I think that'd be really fun. Okay. How do we do it? Is there any technique that we have to do?

[01:55:41]

Yeah. So for classic, this is the main technique. So we're just going to be going like this. So let's say your left foot goes backward, your right foot's going to go forward. And your right hand's going to go forward. Okay. You're going to go here, and then you're going to go here. Then you're going to alternate like this.

[01:56:03]

It's like we're walking, but really far forward. All right. That's for the classic? Yes.

[01:56:12]

For skate, you're going to pull and push out. Then we're going to do that on the next foot. Then next foot. You get it? Because that is how you skate. If you're in roller skates or roller blades, you do it to the side.

[01:56:30]

This is pretty natural, too. Yeah. All right. Well, I'm very excited. Do you mind if we start skiing? Yeah, we'll get the skis on. Yeah. All right. How do we do that? All right.

[01:56:43]

First, let's put our skis down. Okay, in front of us.

[01:56:49]

Okay.

[01:56:51]

And now we're going to... So there's this metal plate right here.Oh.

[01:56:57]

Yeah.oh, yeah, I see it.

[01:56:58]

We're going to push it right in between the knobs right here.

[01:57:03]

Really hard. Then when you hear a snap, you're going to be in.

[01:57:07]

Hey, look, I got one. I did not. Hello.

[01:57:10]

There we go. It's like the biggest shoe ever.

[01:57:17]

Yeah. It's pretty cheeky. But once it's in... Okay.

[01:57:27]

I see these pulls help us with balance and pushing.

[01:57:31]

There we go. All right. Well, where can we go explore? Follow me, guys. All right. Lead the way. Follow the leader.

[01:57:43]

Here we go.

[01:57:58]

Wow. Oh, this is awesome.

[01:58:03]

Yeah, where are we? We're at the obstacle course.

[01:58:06]

What obstacle course? We love obstacle courses. Yeah. What does this obstacle course have?

[01:58:14]

I'm leaving. I'm leaving.

[01:58:16]

That's okay, Mika.

[01:58:18]

It has hoops, a slalom, and some jumps.

[01:58:22]

Hoops? So basically a big arch? Do you go over or under? Under.

[01:58:28]

Oh, so That one's going to be really low, I bet.

[01:58:31]

Yeah. Then you said slalom. What's slalom?

[01:58:35]

It's where you go left and right through the slalom.

[01:58:38]

Cool. That'll be really fun. Then jumps? I bet Mika will know how to do the jump.

[01:58:47]

I definitely want to try and jump.

[01:58:49]

Yeah. Well, this sounds like fun. All right, shall we?

[01:58:53]

Yeah.

[01:58:53]

Yeah, let's try it.

[01:58:56]

Okay.

[01:58:56]

Oh, she does.

[01:59:00]

Wow, that's a big mountain. Yeah.

[01:59:04]

We made it to the top. Yeah.

[01:59:07]

Wow. All right. Who's going first?

[01:59:10]

I'll go. All right. Okay, go. Go with how it's done. Yeah.

[01:59:25]

Whoa, look at them go. Yeah. All right.

[01:59:38]

Good job, everyone.

[01:59:41]

All right. Here's the hunk.

[01:59:54]

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was awesome.

[02:00:14]

That was really fun. Yeah, it seems like we all did such a great job.

[02:00:19]

Yeah, thanks for showing us that obstacle course. You all did really great. I got to go back to managing the store.

[02:00:26]

All right, guys. See you later. Have a good day. Thank you. Wow. That was really nice of him to take his time to teach us how to ski.

[02:00:34]

Yeah, he's a really good skier.

[02:00:36]

Yeah, and that was really fun learning to ski with my best friend.

[02:00:39]

Yeah, I love learning with you, Blippy. That's so sweet.

[02:00:43]

Well, this is the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of my videos, all you have to do is search for my name. Yeah. Will you spell my name with us? B-l-i-p-p-i. Blippy.

[02:00:57]

Hey, will you spell my name with us?

[02:01:03]

M-e-e-k-a-h. Mika. All right. See you again. Bye. Bye. Let's go. Yeah. Bye. Bye.
