So much to learn about. It'll make you want to shout.

[00:00:03]

Blippy. Hey, it's me, Blippy. And look at where I am. Today, I'm at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California. And in this museum, they have a lot of cars. They have old cars, new cars. They might even have some fast cars. Cool. I heard that actually we get to go down into the vault and see some really special cars. Let's go. There's so many cool cars here. Whoa, look at this. Whoa, this one's really big. Do you see what it says? Police Patrol. Yeah. Whoa, look at this. This isn't a car. This looks like a It looks like a motorcycle for space. And Mars. Here we come. Hey, who are you? My name's Jason. Oh, nice to meet you, Jason. I'm Blippy. Nice to meet you, Blippy. What car is this? This is actually a hydrogen car. Hydrogen? Wait a second. Most cars run on gas, diesel, or electricity. What do you mean by hydrogen? Well, it runs on hydrogen just like you find in the air. Oh, so you put in the hydrogen in this car, then what comes out of the exhaust pipe? Well, the hydrogen that you put in the tank combines with air it's getting through the front grill, the oxygen in the air mixes with the hydrogen to form water.

[00:01:44]

Whoa, cool. So H-2-O, two O, two hydrogen, and one oxygen combined. Yeah. It makes water. So cool. Speaking of cool, why does it look so cool? Well, unlike most cars that come to you painted, this car, you get to paint yourself. I have some markers for you to do that with. Oh, cool. Like he says, normal vehicles, you cannot paint or draw or decorate at all. But this vehicle, he says, I and you get to decorate. So cool. Can I decorate it? Of course you can. Have fun, Lippie. All right. Thank you. Wow, this is going to be so much fun. Where should we start? Let's see. How about right here. There we go. Take some orange, color in those circles. Oh, cool. All right. How about some blue? Oh, there we go. Nice little chimney. Oh, what about right there? There we go. Looks like the car is complete. Wow, what a cool-looking car now. And it's so colorful. I sure do love this car. Wait a second. Do you see that way over there? Oh, a blue car, and it looks like someone is working on it. Let's go say hi. Hey, who are you?

[00:03:23]

I'm Brad.

[00:03:24]

Oh, nice to meet you, Brad. I'm Blippy. What are you doing here?

[00:03:28]

We're just getting this car ready for the Cinco de Mayo show.

[00:03:31]

Wow, a car show. Car shows are so cool. All the cars line up, and then all these people walk around and check out the really cool cars. How big is this engine?

[00:03:44]

327.

[00:03:45]

How many cylinders does it have? Six cylinders. Six cylinders. Are they all in a line or an inline six, or is it a V6?

[00:03:55]

This is a V6.

[00:03:56]

Whoa, cool. So three cylinders on this side, three on this side, and then it looks like the letter V. Cool. Have you added oil to it yet?

[00:04:06]

Not yet. We're just getting ready to now.

[00:04:08]

Cool. Can we check it together?

[00:04:10]

Yes, sir.

[00:04:11]

Oh, cool. Whoa, there it is. It looks like the oil is nice and full. Cool. Hey, Brad, what's this plastic here for?

[00:04:25]

This is to protect the car to make sure we don't scratch it or get it dirty.

[00:04:28]

Oh, that's Very smart. Hey, do you mind if we check out the inside of the car? No problem. Awesome. I'm so excited. I wonder what it looks like. Whoa, wait a second. Do you see there's no door handles? Brad, how do you get inside?

[00:04:46]

You lower the windows with a key fob, and then you reach inside and there's a handle inside.

[00:04:50]

Oh, cool. So when the window is down, then you can open up the door. Check it out. Wow, that's a cool-looking inside. Do you mind if I sit inside?

[00:05:08]

Please do.

[00:05:09]

All right, here I go. It's a really tight squeeze in here. Do you see how short the roof is? Yeah, it used to be taller, but then they shortened it. The inside is blue and white. Blue is one of my two favorite colors. You knew that already. Whoa, and look at the steering wheel. It's so shiny. And all these gages and gadgets and levers. The car looks pretty old. I wonder how old this car is. Hey, let me ask Brad. That is a really cool car, Brad. How old is this car?

[00:05:53]

That's 1937.

[00:05:55]

Wait a second. Is that 85 years old?

[00:05:58]

Eighty-five years old.

[00:05:58]

Oh, 85 to this date right now. Now, that is a really old car. Do you have any other old cars?

[00:06:05]

Sure. We have a 1957 Chevy right over here. Can we see? Yes, sure.

[00:06:09]

Let's go. What car is this, Brad?

[00:06:18]

This is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible.

[00:06:21]

Cool. Do you see the color? It's the color green. Like Brad said, it's a convertible. You see how there's no roof? Yeah. So then you can drive along and have the wind blow in your hair. So cool. What's so unique about this car?

[00:06:38]

What I think is unique about this car are the wings.

[00:06:41]

The wings? Is that this? Yeah. Wow, cool.

[00:06:44]

One of the neat things about the wings are, if you open this up, this is where you put the fuel in.

[00:06:49]

Wow, do you see that? Yeah, that's where you put the fuel in. In most cars, you put it in on the side. Cool. Whoa, speaking of cool, what's this giant circle Cool.

[00:07:00]

That's the spare tire.

[00:07:02]

Oh, that's really practical. Then if you ever get a flat tire, you have a spare tire. Cool. Whoa. Speaking of cool, what car is this, Brad?

[00:07:14]

This is a 1910 Model T.

[00:07:16]

Whoa, a 1910 Model T. Oh, yeah, that's done by Ford. This is a really old car. Is this the first car in America?

[00:07:26]

This is one of the first cars built in America.

[00:07:28]

Wow, cool. How do you start it? Is there a key?

[00:07:32]

There's no key for this car, Blippy. This car, you turn this handle right here on crank it over, and that's how you start it.

[00:07:37]

Do you see this handle? Fred said you crank it and turn it, and then that's how the car starts. Awesome. Do you mind if I sit inside?

[00:07:47]

Please do, Blippy.

[00:07:48]

Cool. All right. Now, this car is really old. Look at me. I'm driving in history. Cool. Cool. Was this car really fast, Brad?

[00:08:02]

No, this car was very slow.

[00:08:04]

Oh, so it's old and slow. Do you have any old and fast cars?

[00:08:10]

Yeah, right here. We have a 1947 Indy car.

[00:08:13]

Cool. Let's go check it Wow. Yeah. What a cool race car. What car is this, Brad?

[00:08:24]

This is a 1946 Ross Page Special.

[00:08:28]

Wow. A A really old race car. That is so cool. Did it go super fast?

[00:08:35]

It went about 125 miles per hour.

[00:08:37]

Wow, that is fast. That's about 200 kilometers an hour. And look down here. It even has a seat belt. A very old-looking seat belt. Yeah. And what's this right here, Brad?

[00:08:51]

That's the gear shift lever.

[00:08:53]

Oh. So how many gears does this car have?

[00:08:57]

Only one gear in this car, Blippy.

[00:08:59]

Only one gear? Yeah. Normal cars these days have many, many gears. Yeah. Five, six, right around there. And that's why they sound like... Cool. Do you mind if I take it for a spin?

[00:09:17]

Take it for a spin. Good luck. All right, here we go.

[00:09:20]

Let's start the race in three, two, one. Yeah, this car is fast. Look at the crowd. Hey, crowd. In the flagger? Yeah. They tell me what lap I'm on. So cool. It's a lot of old cars. Wow, cool. Hey, wait a second. Maybe we can find the oldest car here. Let's go. Check it out. This is a Ford Model A, and this looks like a very old vehicle. Wow, it doesn't even look like a car because it looks really big. Hey, this is a station wagon. Oh, and do you see the doors? Yeah, they look like they're made of wood. And I actually got permission to open it up. So should I open it up? Yeah. Hello. So old. Wow. I wonder if we can find another old car, maybe an even older one. Yeah. Cool. Another really old car. This is actually a 1918 Model T. Wow, so old. And just like the other car, I got permission to open the door. Check it out. Now that is an old car. Check this out down here. Do you see Do you know what this is? Yeah, a toolbox. Yeah, you can put your screwdriver in there, pair of flyers, even a wrench.

[00:11:09]

Cool. Let's go see if we can find an even older car. Cool. Another really old car. It's the color red, black. There's even some shiny gold. This is a 1903 Cadillac Model A. I wonder where the engine is. I don't know. Do you see it? Wait a second. Maybe the engine is where the trunk normally is. I got permission to open it up. Yeah, the engine. Now, that is an old engine. Cool. Wow, I love cars, and I love old cars. I I wonder if we can find an even older car. Yeah. Check it out. Now, this is an old car. This car is so old. Actually, this car is from 1886. Yeah, it's actually one of the very first practical cars in the world. When it's so old, it doesn't even have a steering wheel. You see? It looks like a steering and lever. Cool. And down here, wow. Yeah, the wheel and tire. Doesn't it look like it's from a bicycle? But it's not. Wow. And the seat looks pretty comfortable, I Yes. And back here, this is the engine. So powerful. Just kidding. This only could drive about 10 miles an hour.

[00:12:54]

That's about 16 kilometers an hour. And how you started it is with this my wheel. You would grab on and turn it and push it. It was really hard to start. Cool. Well, I had so much fun finding all these old cars with you. Good job. Wow, wasn't that so much fun? I know, it was. Wow, I really enjoyed learning about those really old cars. Oh, and those really old cars that were also super fast. And you can't about that car that ran on hydrogen. So cool. I love decorate it. So colorful. Well, this is the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of my videos, all you have to do is search for my name. Will you spell my name with me? Yeah. B-l-i-p-p-i. Blippy. Good job. All right. See you again. Bye-bye. Hey, it's me, Blippy, and look at where I'm at. Yeah, I am at Valley Auto in Tinnino, Washington. This is where they work on vehicles. Whoa, do you see that truck up there? Whoa, it's so high up there. That's crazy. Whoa, so many cool machines in here. Come on. Whoa, look at this big truck.

[00:14:36]

Do you see how it's on the ground? Yeah, they're on the ground, but then they use these big things called lifts to go underneath and lift it up to the sky. So then the mechanics can work underneath the truck and car, so then they don't have to bend down or be uncomfortable. That's pretty cool. Oh, look at this. Whoa, this is so heavy. Wow, this is a battery. Yeah, most vehicles have batteries, so then it helps them turn on. Yeah, land also turn on the radio. And things like that. Yeah, batteries have electricity stored inside. Oh, look at these. These are hose clamps. Whoa, there's a small one. Here is a big one. These are what goes around hoses and clamps them nice and tight. Hey, what shape are these? Yeah, these are circles. Pretty cool, huh? All right, let's put those back. Let's keep exploring. Whoa, look at all of these. Do you see these? Wow. This right here, yeah, is A nut, washer, and a bolt. This is what you use to tighten things. Yeah, nice and close together. Say if there's a piece of metal right here and another piece of metal, you could tighten it nice and tight so then it doesn't slip and slide.

[00:16:17]

All right, let's put that back. Okay. So cool. This is a massive engine. That looks so powerful. Wow. So cool. Well, hey, let's see. Oh, look at this. Remember earlier how I said that What? The lift lifts up the truck so the mechanic can stand up nice and tall? Well, sometimes you might not have a lift, and you need to get really low on the ground and work on the vehicle from the ground. Whoa. Hey. Whoa. Whee. Look at me go. I'm a mechanic. Yeah, you can slide because it has wheels. Okay. All right. Enough playing around. Let's get to work. Hey, it's someone else. Who are you? Colton. Oh, nice to meet you, Colton. Well, what are you doing over there? Getting ready to weld. Oh, weld? That's really cool. Hey, do you know what welding is? Yeah, welding is where you take two pieces of metal and apply some electricity, heat, some gas, and it becomes so hot. They become connected. Yeah, it's like glue, but for metal. Well, cool. Will you show us how to do it? Yeah, I just need to lift up the truck. All right, let's check it out.

[00:18:24]

Wow. Do you see what they're doing? Yeah, they're using those metal posts to go under the truck, so then they can work underneath it safely so it doesn't fall on them. Okay, let's watch them weld. Looks like he some safety gear. Check it out. See these? Yeah, these are his gloves. It keeps his hands protected while he's welding. And this looks like his helmet. Yeah, and it has this really dark shade right here. So then he can look at what he's doing because it's too bright to look at without this. You definitely never want to look at what you're doing welding unless you have this. So if you ever see someone welding, do not look at that light, okay? Okay. Oh, here you go.

[00:20:12]

Whoa. He Can you see that? Wow. Colton did such a great job welding. Hey, Colton, thank you so much for showing us how to weld. Yep, no problem. Yeah. All right, let's keep exploring. Let's go. Whoa, this has been so much fun. Did you see when he was welding? It looked like fireworks. Yeah, that was awesome. Cool. Look at this yellow toolbox. I think we should open it up and see what tools are inside. Whoa. Whoa. Look at these socket sets. Wow. That is so nicely organized. Whoa. Remember earlier? Yeah, we were talking about those nuts? Yeah, these sockets go over the nuts. And then you use a lever and then turn it. And then you get it nice and tight. Yeah, that is really cool. Let's see what else is in here. I love tools. They're so much fun. Whoa, look. Yeah, a wrench. Yeah, you can also use these to tighten nuts.

[00:21:29]

That is so cool.

[00:21:33]

All right, let's put it away. What else is in here? Yeah, a Crescent wrench. We must have a customer. Someone else will get that. But hey, check it out. A Crescent wrench. Looks like a mount. Hello. Hello. That's silly. Okay. Well, oh, look at this. You know what this is? Yeah, it looks like a hammer, doesn't it? Yeah, but it's actually a rubber mallet. Watch this. Yeah, you can hit things with it. Yeah, you like a tire. Watch this. I don't know what you would do that for, but it's fun. A vice right here? Yeah, you can put things in here, turn this, and see it closing? Yeah. Keeps things held right here so then you can work on it. Look. Yeah, looks like a fan. It looks like a fan. Yeah. This looks like a fan that goes in front of the radiator. Wow, I sure do love mechanic and tools. Hey, I think this is the perfect time for the tool song. Yeah.

[00:23:06]

When you're working with tools, working with tools, you hear all kinds of things. When you're working with tools, working with tools, you hear all kinds of things. The wrench tightens pipes going, klang, klang. A hammer hits a nail going, bang, bang, bang. A and booms, clangs and zings. When you're working with tools, you hear all kinds of things. Cutting wires with some pliers going, snip, snip. Cutting paper with some scissors going, clip, clip. When you're working with tools, you've got to be real safe by wearing gloves on your hands and goggles on your face. And boys and girls, when you're working with tools, always follow mom and Dad's safety rules. When you're working with tools, working with tools, you hear all kinds of things. When you're working with tools, When you're working with tools, working with tools, you hear all kinds of things. You hear thuds and tweaks, cracks and rings. When you're working with tools, you hear all kinds of things. You hear bangs and booms, clangs and zings. When you're working with tools, you hear all kinds of things.

[00:25:07]

Check it out.

[00:25:09]

Yeah, it looks like we have some big bolts. And We have some big nuts. Hey, what's this doing here? Do you know what this is? Yeah, it's a steering wheel. Ten and two. Driving a car is so much fun. You'll get there. And you need to be very safe and always wear your seat belt. But hey, in order to drive in a car, you need to maintain your vehicle. Yeah, and that is why we're at the mechanic shop. But hey, check these out. Whoa, this is the cylinder head. Whoa, there's so many parts to an engine, and this is just one of them. Over here, this is the exhaust manifold. Yeah, like I said, there's a lot of parts to an engine, but this is where the engine is, and then the exhaust goes through all these pipes to the back of the vehicle. Yeah, and you've probably seen exhaust pipes before. Yeah. Well, hey, I have one last thing to show you right over here. The best part about mechanic shops is cleaning up at the end of the day and all your hard work pays off. Well, this has been so much fun learning about tools with you today, and welding, and what it's like to be in a shop.

[00:26:46]

Well, this is the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of my videos, all you have to do is search for my name. Will you spell my name with me? B-l-i-p-p-i. Flippy. Good job. All right, see you again. Bye-bye. Hey, it's me, Blippy, and I'm just out exploring today. Wow, what beautiful land this is. Hey, come on. Whoa, look at all this tall grass. I wonder what's on the other side. Whoa, check it out. Yeah. Today, I'm in Tenino, Washington, and this looks like a secret go-cart track. I sure do love go-carts. Have you ever ridden a go-cart before? Yeah, they're so fast. Grabbing that steering wheel, around the corners. This is going to be fun. I was just acting like I was driving a go-cart. Oh, speaking of go-carts, yeah, this thing is awesome. Hey, what color go-cart is this? Yeah, the main color of this go-cart is the color red. Yeah, I do like the color red. Hey, look at the number up here. Every go-cart has to have a number, so then you know when you cross the finish line if you want. In this number right here, what number is it?

[00:28:34]

One, two, three, four, five. Yeah, this number is five. Wow. Whoa, this is so cool. Do you see these wheels and tires? Yeah, they have some dirt and mud on them. Someone must have been racing this go kart. Yeah. Actually, these Tires? Yeah, they're not normal tires, like on a car or a truck, how it has tred. These are nice and flat. Yeah, better for speed. Hey, look, this is the engine of the go-cart. Whoa, there's so many parts. One way to turn it on is this. You pull it up and then it gets the motor turning and it turns it on. Provides the power so you can go fast. Whoa, back here. Look at this. This is a chain, and this is how the engine provides all the power to the rear wheels and tires. Whoa, I am so excited to ride this. Oh, speaking of riding it, yeah, this is where I'm going to sit. This is the seat. Oh, it sure does look comfortable, doesn't it? And this is the steering wheel. Do you see when I turn the wheel, it turns the wheels and tires? Whoa, that looks fun. And last but not least, right up here.

[00:30:14]

This is where you put your feet, push down right here for the break. And on the other side, this is for the gas. Speaking of gas, the engine needs gas. Right here, this is where you fill it up. Okay, it looks like we explored the whole go-cart, so it must be time to drive and race the go-cart. Oh, jeez. I am so excited. Yeah. Are you ready? Yeah, let's go. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second. I need all my safety gear. Three, two, one. Whoa, check it out. Yeah, my safety gear. Yeah, I have my helmet on, my goggles, my gloves, and that means I am ready to race. Yeah, you have to wear a helmet so then it keeps your head nice and safe. You have to wear gloves, so then you can hold on to the steering wheel nice and tight. And you wear... Yeah, the goggles, so then dirt and mud doesn't flip in your face. Oh, here we go. Oh, wait a second. I forgot to turn on the go kart. All right, here we go. Oh, yeah. Make sure everything's turned on. And remember what I said earlier? We need to give it a pull.

[00:32:00]

Here I go.

[00:32:14]

Whoa, that was awesome.

[00:32:31]

Whoa, these go-carts are awesome. Oh, hey, look, another go-kart. And this go-kart is the color black. And its number is 5, 8, 9. Whoa. Hey, who are you? Kylie. Kylie? Well, it looks like you're my competition. Are you ready to race? Yes. Whoa, looks like Kylie is ready. Oh, hey, another competitor. What's your name? Lincoln. Lincoln? Whoa, are you ready to race? Yeah. Who do you think is going to win? Me. Whoa, that sounds like some tough competition. All right, looks like Lincoln is ready, looks like Kylie is ready, and me, Blippy, is ready to Race. All right, let's start those engines. On your mark. Get set.

[00:33:54]

Go.

[00:36:16]

Did you see that? I just spun out. Yeah, that was so much fun driving this go kart and Racing this go kart. Oh, jeez, this red go kart. Yeah, the red number 5 go kart did me so good today. We had a safe day riding go karts together. Good job. Well, this is the end of this video. But if you want to watch more of my videos, all you have to do is search for my name. Will you spell my name with me? B-l-i-p-p-i. Blippy. Good job. All right. I should probably take another lap. See you soon. Bye-bye.

[00:37:09]

Come on, everyone.

[00:37:12]

Let's make learning fun.

[00:37:14]

Blippy, Blippy.

[00:37:16]

So much to learn about. It'll make you want to shout.

[00:37:21]

Blippy.
