Good morning, millennials, and welcome back to the chose.

[00:00:05]

Happy Tuesday. That feels like a Monday for us because we, you know, took the day off yesterday to celebrate all the precedents.

[00:00:11]

Turdy.

[00:00:12]

Actually, you know who didn't take off the day yesterday, which was shocking. Bruno. Ups. Like, they ring the doorbell to sign for a package, and I picked it up. I'm like, I thought, there's no mail. It's a bank holiday.

[00:00:22]

But they're not the government's mail. Of course. Us.

[00:00:25]

Yeah.

[00:00:26]

Honestly, I sitting around, so. By the way, not picking up the mail.

[00:00:30]

Jackie, we are the USPs of the podcasting are literally, like, we just, like.

[00:00:36]

Holiday, where weekend not working. Don't get your shit. Don't bother me till Monday.

[00:00:43]

No. By the way, we are the USPs of podcasting.

[00:00:47]

Now. I have a softer spot for them. No, me too.

[00:00:50]

Like, I get it.

[00:00:51]

Speaking of usPs, do you know what?

[00:00:52]

I've been loving stamps.com. Always. Okay.

[00:00:56]

My mailbox.

[00:00:57]

Oh, my God. That's so funny that you said that.

[00:01:00]

Having a mailbox at the end of the driveway, by the way, I write letters now, and I pick up my mailbox, the flag, just to say, hi, there's something in here to be picked up.

[00:01:08]

That's so good to know. Because the other day, I was waiting for an Uber outside your house, and I had taken a little bag of Cheetos for the car ride. But I finished the Cheetos before the uber driver even arrived, and I was, hmm, what do I do with this empty bag of Cheetos? And I almost literally just threw it in your mailbox, because I'm like, no one uses a mailbox. It just can be trash, and I'll pick it up later. Thank God. I didn't. I didn't know you were using it so much.

[00:01:29]

It would have been fine if you did. I just glad to know. As opposed to finding an open bag of Cheetos in my mailbox, I would have been like, I wouldn't have let.

[00:01:36]

You find the open bag of Cheetos. Like, I would have, on my way back in, taken it.

[00:01:39]

It would been fine.

[00:01:40]

But I didn't know it was such, like, a personal thing. I thought, nobody uses a mailbox.

[00:01:45]

The thing about having a real mailbox is sometimes when you haven't received your package, it's like, it might be in the mailbox. No, I get so many packages in my mailbox, they just shove them in there.

[00:01:55]

Okay, that's unfair. And that's usps, like, being lazy. Like, packages don't go in the mailbox. Mailboxes for mail and letters. Catalogs, maybe. And even if it's like a big ass envelope. No, that goes to the door.

[00:02:08]

No, they put, like, clothes. They sometimes shove it in there because it's shoveable. Speaking of catalogs, I get catalogs in my mailbox. I ordered something from a catalog a few weeks ago.

[00:02:17]

It's like, the least surprising thing. You are 97. Like, you use a mailbox and you order from a catalog.

[00:02:23]

That's just something about me.

[00:02:25]

How does one order from a catalog? Each item has, like, a number.

[00:02:28]

Yeah, I didn't call. I found it in the catalog and then went online to purchase.

[00:02:33]

Oh, that's not ordering from a catalog, really. Ordering from a catalog is getting on the phone, being like, hi, I'd like the sectional on page six, item number six. L, four, two, nine.

[00:02:43]

The thing is, I needed the dimensions, so I had to go online.

[00:02:45]

The catalog didn't have the dimensions. That seems like a mess.

[00:02:47]

They give, like, bare bones information. They don't have all the space in the world in the catalog.

[00:02:51]

Right.

[00:02:52]

They have to just really be intentional about what information they're sharing.

[00:02:58]

Speaking of being intentional, I don't know.

[00:03:00]

We're always intentional.

[00:03:02]

I know. It's like, why do I even have to say that? It goes without saying, but let's talk about how we are intentionally today. No, intentionally doesn't work. Just forget I said that. Jackie and I are kind of having, like, a crazy day because we are committed.

[00:03:14]

Oh, we're being intentional. Speaking of being intentional.

[00:03:16]

I know. What's that called? Intentional eating?

[00:03:20]

Is that.

[00:03:20]

No, what's it called? It's like I eating. Intuitive.

[00:03:23]

Intuitive. That's not intentional. It's the opposite.

[00:03:26]

Oh, it is?

[00:03:26]

Yeah. It's just kind of like willy nillying the thing, listening to your body.

[00:03:31]

So Jackie and I are speaking of listening to our bodies today. Jackie and I have committed to being healthy. Queens, it's just kind of been, like, a crazy week. We've just been kind of being fat, and I've been eating so much, and it's just like, I was on such a good grind up until I got here. Not that I'm blaming you or the state of Florida, but it is your guys'fault. And today we're taking control back. We're taking our bodies back.

[00:03:54]

Today's day one of a new health journey.

[00:03:56]

So we are going to be healthy. We'll check back in as the days go by. Oh, also, spoiler alert, I was supposed to be flying homestead. Like, obviously, I'm not. It wasn't in the cards.

[00:04:04]

I don't think anyone thought you were.

[00:04:05]

It wasn't in the cards for me to be, like, getting on a plane and leaving my family. No.

[00:04:09]

In the middle of the week.

[00:04:10]

It's like the work week.

[00:04:11]

And if we're together, then we should finish out the week strong together.

[00:04:14]

It made no sense.

[00:04:15]

And the beautification committee finally got their shit together.

[00:04:17]

No, the beautification committee has work to do.

[00:04:20]

You think?

[00:04:21]

No, actually, I've been loving the way the show has been looking. Once the beautification committee spent the budget.

[00:04:25]

Yeah. And I retired now.

[00:04:27]

Yeah, it's kind of like the archived committee. Like the committee has been archived. Yeah, but, you know, another project could be around the corner.

[00:04:35]

What project?

[00:04:37]

I don't know. I feel like my bedroom actually could use a little beautification.

[00:04:39]

Oh, I have beautification committees all throughout the home. But I didn't think you were going to say this, but another beautification committee could be put together. You know what I was saying last week? That we kind of just, like, skidded over, but we both kind of.

[00:04:53]

Let's. Let's talk about.

[00:04:56]

So.

[00:04:57]

And I don't disagree, but, you know, I'm just very change average, and, you.

[00:05:00]

Know, I love to just switch things up on a dime.

[00:05:03]

So Jackie was discussing maybe our esthetic for the normal, remote, know, the palm leaves and such. Maybe we move on from the leaves.

[00:05:10]

Maybe it's time for an upgrade.

[00:05:12]

And the only reason I kind of.

[00:05:13]

Agree is I said something that struck a chord with you.

[00:05:17]

What did you say?

[00:05:17]

Which, when the TikTokers see the leaves, it might be giving, like, millennial choog, and they're not taking us seriously, which isn't why I think we should change it.

[00:05:23]

Well, that's the only reason I would agree. Like, the banana leaf esthetic, which I love and has been, like, a core.

[00:05:28]

So good to us.

[00:05:29]

So good to us. It does give, like, elder. Like it's giving now. Like, get. I agree.

[00:05:37]

Here's my question. When we chose it, it was the chicst thing.

[00:05:40]

It was Hills Hotel. And then Jackie, our initial logo, the first logo we ever had made for the morning toast, was a spin on Beverly Hills hotel font. Yeah. So it was really kind of synergetic.

[00:05:52]

Yeah. So much love for the Beverly Hills hotel place.

[00:05:54]

We've never stayed there.

[00:05:57]

So here's my question. Did it coincidentally become a chewy millennial thing, the banana leaves? And we just happened to pick something that had a future of becoming overdone? Or did we sort of set into motion.

[00:06:11]

Okay. No, you're giving us a lot of credit. It was the first one. Okay. Yeah. And we just happened to hop on a trend that ended up being chewy. That's so unfortunate for us. The thing is, I just feel like it's really important to say we are of a certain age for sure. No, but we are not chewy. We are so cool and original and free thinking that it would feel inconggress for us to have a pattern that is chewy because we're not. And I'm not just saying that we're not.

[00:06:38]

But the thing is, the thing about the palm leaves, it's really a beautiful pattern. And so even though it's been overdone, I still liked the way that it looks because it's nice to look at. We didn't choose it because it was a trendy thing. That's like kind of when Sassy says how Sophia Richie Grange, how her style is becoming so universal and Sassy's like, well, that upsets me because that's my style. And soon it will become a, yeah, but I'm like, no, because you chose the style because it's nice to look at, period. Just because it's having a moment of hype doesn't take away from the fact that it's an esthetically pleasing thing.

[00:07:10]

So back to the wallpaper. Do you think that this is an esthetically pleasing. Yes.

[00:07:14]

That's why it doesn't bother me that it became so hyped up.

[00:07:18]

I'm open. I really am. I don't die for the. This isn't something I'm willing to die on. Why don't we take a look online later today, see if anything else strikes. What I will say about the leaves that I don't love is it's not the most original. Yeah, the wallpaper at the watch weapons live people are always like, whenever I see people taking pictures at the watch weapons live green room, I think they're at the toast because they have it there, too. It's not original. They have it at the Beverly Hills hotel, obviously. The Flamingos I love, by the way, they're original.

[00:07:49]

They're free thinkers.

[00:07:50]

Would this just become like your one?

[00:07:52]

I guess so. That's also easier for me.

[00:07:55]

Yeah, I'm open.

[00:07:57]

Yeah, we'll take a look online and we don't have to do it immediately.

[00:08:00]

Oh, that's so me. It's like, oh, we have an idea. It has to be done tomorrow before the show.

[00:08:04]

Sit on.

[00:08:04]

Just let me sit on and maybe sound off in the comments. What would you feel? I know we've discussed getting rid of good morning millennials and they rioted and we're not doing it. We're not. I feel like there's not that much attachment to the leaves.

[00:08:14]

I was thinking yesterday also that we are coming up on our anniversary.

[00:08:19]

We are. Because our anniversary is Ben's birthday in April.

[00:08:22]

I think it's six years.

[00:08:23]

No, we're on our 7th season, but.

[00:08:26]

We started in 20 18.

[00:08:28]

20 18 20 19. And it's 2020. 2002. 122-2324 wait, right.

[00:08:35]

But, like, how come it's not just 2024 -2018 let me think.

[00:08:40]

Me and Ben got married in 2017 and we're coming up on our 7th anniversary. So.

[00:08:46]

Yeah, so it's our 6th year, but.

[00:08:49]

How are we in our 7th season?

[00:08:50]

Because the seasons go by the calendar year, not by when we started the.

[00:08:54]

Show, I guess, but when we started the show also goes by the year.

[00:09:00]

Are we not in our 7th season?

[00:09:03]

I know we are in our 7th season, I think. No, it's literally like on Apple Podcast, like seven seasons because we said so.

[00:09:11]

But were we wrong when we said so? No.

[00:09:13]

Let me tell you why. Because in the year 2018, that was our first season. 2019 202-122-2324 we are in our 7th season, but I think we've completed our 6th year anniversary because we're about to embark on our 7th season.

[00:09:30]

Yeah, our 7th year.

[00:09:31]

Yeah, whatever. Back to what you were saying. Consistency.

[00:09:38]

That would be a good time for a refresh.

[00:09:40]

I do love a refresh.

[00:09:43]

It's a more palatable word for you than rebrand.

[00:09:47]

I'm down. We're going to keep our chairs.

[00:09:49]

I love these chairs.

[00:09:50]

Me, too.

[00:09:50]

Except they're not the most flattering.

[00:09:52]

No. I don't even care. I was in Olivia Ashrey's house and she has a Buchle chair in her bedroom. And I said, I love your bugle chair. And she said, it's literally from the same place. She's like, it's your studio chair. I'm like, no, our studio chair is a little different. She's like, oh, well, we got them together. Maybe mine's a little different. I like hers better.

[00:10:09]

It's from the same place.

[00:10:10]

We literally have so many of these chairs.

[00:10:12]

I don't know what I would do with that.

[00:10:13]

I have two.

[00:10:14]

There'd be like a Buchle yard sale.

[00:10:16]

Yeah. We have five of these shares. And they were pricey. Like they're going nowhere.

[00:10:21]

No. And they're nice and they're still, actually, I would venture to say that this Buchle thing is even more of a trend. Trendy. And we picked it due to the trendiness because it wasn't our original idea.

[00:10:33]

No, but let me say, there is a really important. Stop talking about the podcast at a lens. Should we just change the subject?

[00:10:41]

No, continue.

[00:10:42]

Well, we chose the bouquet because, yeah, it was trendy, but more so. Wait, the light isn't on? Do we turn the lights on in here when we podcast? We do. Okay.

[00:10:55]

I don't think it's going to make a huge difference. Speaking of what the podcast looks like, maybe we should turn the light on. A little bit of a difference. So bright in here.

[00:11:06]

We chose the Buchle chairs. One, because Buchle is trendy, but two, because Buchle was like an inside joke at the toast. You pronounced it wrong, remember?

[00:11:14]

That's actually not what happened.

[00:11:15]

La ter de lu, a bit of toast.

[00:11:17]

Her story is that I bought these buchle chairs for my home.

[00:11:20]

Okay.

[00:11:21]

Just for my home to be in my living room.

[00:11:23]

Okay.

[00:11:23]

And then when you came for the Florida studio and we hadn't bought studio tings yet, we were looking at these two chairs. They were set up by my.

[00:11:31]

Yes.

[00:11:32]

In my downstairs, there were just two chairs next to each other. And we're like, that looks like the set of the toes.

[00:11:36]

Yeah.

[00:11:36]

And so we're like, let's bring that upstairs.

[00:11:38]

But there also was like a Buchle lore. But I think that I bought them.

[00:11:41]

For my house because of the Buchal lore.

[00:11:43]

Okay, well, it's just like, still important.

[00:11:46]

I think it's a 360. We need to take a 360 look at it.

[00:11:50]

We love to take a 360 look at everything. So I think we enjoyed our holiday weekend. That's what we were saying. We are USPs. We are USPs.

[00:12:00]

And we're considering a refresh.

[00:12:01]

We're considering a refresh. And today we're being healthy.

[00:12:03]

You know who doesn't do a refresh?

[00:12:05]

Smartless. USPS. The USPS could use a refresh.

[00:12:10]

Yeah, so could smartless. And today we're being healthy.

[00:12:14]

And today we're being healthy. It's going to be so hard. I'm like, really? One thing about me is like, at night I'm like, tomorrow I'm going to be so healthy, I'm going to go for a run. And the second I wake up, I'm like, I need pancakes.

[00:12:24]

Oh, I'm not that way. The morning, not an error is made.

[00:12:29]

Oh, yeah. It's easy to be healthy in the morning.

[00:12:32]

I never like, I want pancakes.

[00:12:34]

Oh, I do. I wake up so hungry.

[00:12:36]

It's like 03:00 strikes and I haven't eaten properly. And I'm so hungry that I'll eat the easiest, fastest thing. That's not the healthiest.

[00:12:43]

No. We're going to be so good today. We're also going to work out, which.

[00:12:45]

Is why I love Taylor farms.

[00:12:47]

Literally not a sponsor today. We're going to be, like, super good today. So just keep us accountable. Yeah.

[00:12:51]

Five k tings, right? I bought a lot of fresh, healthy groceries. Fruits. I'll have them washed and every.

[00:12:59]

No.

[00:13:00]

When the fruits are washed and accessible.

[00:13:01]

No. Fruit is good. Fruit is good.

[00:13:02]

Fruit is good when it's prepared for you.

[00:13:04]

When it's cut up and it's not, like, soggy or hard, it's really hard to find that perfect balance.

[00:13:09]

Be, like, plated nicely.

[00:13:10]

It has to look. How to find it in, like, a tupperware. If it looks like it has to look attractive. Yeah, looks matter. Oh, speaking of looks mattering, love is blind.

[00:13:19]

I started last night. Do you want me to leave the room?

[00:13:21]

No, the thing is, I just texted Ben. Ben will be up here at 1130 to do a ten minute recap with me.

[00:13:26]

Beautiful.

[00:13:26]

Jackie's going to get kicked off the pod at 1130.

[00:13:29]

Okay.

[00:13:29]

That means we have 40 minutes to do the stories. That's more than enough.

[00:13:32]

More than enough.

[00:13:34]

And when I tell you over the weekend, me, Ben Shapiro, and Olivia watched it together. We are obsessed. It is the best season, like, in recent memory. I don't watch every single season of love is blind. But sometimes there's so much hype that you can't ignore it. And you're like, oh, we should watch this. That means it's good. I remember last season, there was no hype. No hype. I didn't watch last season. And then the year before that was like, that big crop of losers.

[00:13:56]

You remember, it's not even years because last season was in October.

[00:14:00]

Oh, wow. They're turning out content fouls.

[00:14:02]

And the season before that, we did watch, but that wasn't even a year. Was. I was living in New York. That was with, like, kwame and Chelsea.

[00:14:10]

Right. The big crop of losers that was in deep d and shake.

[00:14:13]

That was in April because I was living in a hotel when I watched the live reunion.

[00:14:16]

Yes.

[00:14:17]

Okay. Memory, ma'am.

[00:14:19]

So this particular season, there was so much hype and only the first drop of episodes I saw, I'm like, oh, I feel like I should watch it. And there are six episodes. And I will say, like, episodes one through three are very, like, standard. Love is mine. Like, good stuff. Episodes three through six are really good. And what I've noticed about this particular season is they're in the pods up until episode six. That's a long time. Usually I feel like they get out of the pods quickly and get everyone to on their honeymoons. So I find, like, which stage of the show do you think is most interesting, the pods. The honeymoon or real life?

[00:14:47]

The honeymoon.

[00:14:47]

Me too. I'm loving being at the honeymoon. And I'll get into a full recap at the end of the show. You deal with the effects of the experiment.

[00:14:57]

Yeah.

[00:14:58]

No, but it's always interesting to see, like, who has sex.

[00:15:01]

The best is when someone is so jazzed about the way that their partner looks. Looks.

[00:15:05]

Yeah.

[00:15:06]

You can read it on their face minute one. And usually they tell you in the interview, too.

[00:15:10]

Yeah.

[00:15:11]

I can see from some headlines in the way people are talking that looks are a big. That there will be some matches where there's disappointment in looks.

[00:15:19]

There's one particular match where looks are a big thing. And I feel like I will recap it with Ben. I have a hot take. I need everyone to calm down. That's just what say. Okay. I need everyone to calm down because.

[00:15:32]

I'm in the middle of episode two. I will plow through as much as I can, because I want to be caught up, because I don't want to be out of the loop with my.

[00:15:38]

And the new episodes dropped tomorrow, and.

[00:15:39]

You know, it's Zach's favorite show in the world. Oh, yeah.

[00:15:41]

And I. Dinner last night. Like, me, Zach. Zach. Ben and Olivia were, like, gossiping. Jackie was, like, plugging her ears like a three year old. Like, get with the program. You have to finish it. You also need to finish it, like, today, okay? Because new episodes drop tomorrow, and then we can all watch as a family.

[00:15:53]

Okay. You knew. I'll do anything for my family.

[00:15:56]

I know you will. And that's motivated. FoMo.

[00:15:58]

Doesn't matter. Not being cool doesn't matter for my family matters.

[00:16:02]

Family matters.

[00:16:04]

So I think now, without further ado.

[00:16:06]

Yeah.

[00:16:06]

Because I only have till 1130.

[00:16:08]

Until you get kicked off your own podcast. Ben will be joining. Ben is obsessed with. We are like, the drug addicts itching. We're like, we need new episodes by.

[00:16:16]

The good guys creeping in.

[00:16:18]

What's it get? Should I cancel on him? I'll do a solo recap, like, fuck the good guys. No.

[00:16:24]

Maybe we'll get some of their clout, unfortunately. Why not? We clout.

[00:16:27]

We need to coattail ride. Actually, I think I am recording an episode of the good guys this week.

[00:16:32]

While I'm here, make sure talk about.

[00:16:34]

To promote the toast and I'll address the beef.

[00:16:37]

Yeah.

[00:16:37]

I don't even think Josh knows there's beef.

[00:16:41]

That means they're winning.

[00:16:42]

Yeah. Oh, my God. We have to stop talking about that.

[00:16:45]

Yeah, but you're the one giving him a platform today, so.

[00:16:48]

True.

[00:16:49]

But he's doing us a favor for.

[00:16:50]

It's true. It's true. Because you, like, dropped the ball. Yeah.

[00:16:53]

Lateur de Lou. Without further ado about lateur de Lou, here are the fast five stories that you need to know and the fast.

[00:17:01]

Size stories that you need to know were brought to you by Poppy. Everyone knows that soda has become a dirty word. They're too sugary. They're too syrupy. And so if you're trying to leave that in the past, that era of soda is officially over for you. But all the fun doesn't need to stop, because soda, yeah, she's toxic and such, but we still love her, and we were obsessed for a reason. That's where Poppy comes in. Poppy is a better for you. Soda made with clean ingredients, 5 grams of sugar or less. And prebiotics. So there are literally prebiotics in each can. Diet Coke could never. So that's been like a really. And speaking of our health journey, perfect timing. Cutting back on soda has been something I have prioritized. I used to do like three or four a day. I max myself one a day. Now I don't know if I'll ever get to a place where it's completely cut out, but having things like Poppy make that a possibility possible. I never thought I'd be able to cut down soda, period. That was just like something I was never even going to be open to.

[00:17:53]

But in my health journey, I have. And what I really like about Poppy is they have different flavors that reflect different sodas. So obviously I'm a Diet coke girly, so they have flavors like cola Doc pop, which is similar to Diet Dr. Pepper. You can say goodbye to empty calories, artificial ingredients and high fructose corn syrup. Poppy has also fresh fruit flavors like strawberry, lemon, cherry, limeade, orange and grape. They are birthing with the juiciest flavor you've ever tasted. Shop poppy on Amazon for 15% off with code toast, 15 off and in retailers nationwide. So if you want to shop it on Amazon and get that code, it's toast 15 off. You can get it on Amazon for 15% off. Toast, 15 off. And you can also shop poppy in retailers nationwide. [00:18:46]

We're big on old family memories. We grew up in the VHS era. We had boxes and boxes of old VHS tapes gathering dust and actually getting damaged in our old basement, like the elements. If you're keeping all your old tapes in the attic or in a basement, they're susceptible to flood to the elements, to just like mold, and they can be ruined. So don't just let them sit there and gather dust.

[00:19:05]

Send us a lighting box.

[00:19:06]

They will digitize it for you. Old photos, VHS, camcorder, whatever. You'll show your age. We're young. We were just like in the BHS and we were at the tail end of the VHS era. We were like basically digital at that point. Like DVD. We did it. It's the best thing ever. You can get it as a gift for someone like a parent or a grandparent. I think that's really sweet, but it's also just really good to do. And I feel like it's one of those things that everybody has on their list of things to do one day is like, finally go down to the basement and get, just do it. Legacy box does all the work for you. Preserving your family's collection is the only way to ensure that your legacy is safe for generations. It's super easy. And for a limited time, you can visit legacybox.com toast and save 50%. So you don't even have to load it up now, but just take advantage of the offer, buy it, and then when you're ready, load up the box and send it in. They send you a label. It couldn't be easier. They'll send you emails throughout the process, like, here's where your stuff is at.

[00:19:53]

It's all done in the US. Legacybox.com toast get that 50% off. The sale will not last long. Legacy box just get it done. Whatever type of galley you are, it's styled to your taste. You can create looks that serve for all or for none to see.

[00:20:46]

So what I really like about this brand is they are made really, really well. I'm into undergarments that are stretchy. For me, that's really important. I feel like my size is always changing from day to day. And I like that if I'm having, like, a bloated day, or if I'm having a day where my boobs feel really big or really small or really flat or really soggy soggy, I'm dead saggy. They fit no matter what. I think the material is really great and it won't break the bank, which I really like. So whether you're dressing underneath for someone to see or just for yourself, you can feel good knowing that you're wearing, like, sexy little intimates that are fabulous, that are well made, and that are gorgina. [00:21:34]

Thank you.

[00:21:35]

Welcome.

[00:21:36]

Our first story, and I just want to say the stories today are some of the most random batch of all time, but they're all strong and important.

[00:21:44]

It's also weird that we took a holiday, so we have three days. Usually when we come back on a Monday, there's always something to talk about.

[00:21:50]

Lead story. There's not. These are in order of no importance.

[00:21:53]

I think you want to know why. It's that time of year. The celebrities are vacationing.

[00:21:57]

I'm happy for them.

[00:21:58]

Everyone's like, in Aspen or Mexico. I feel like it's, like, low key. I was actually thinking, like, maybe I would take a vacation in the next week or like, just like the last minute, like honeymoon with know, cute you.

[00:22:07]

Should go from here. So many options of places.

[00:22:09]

I don't have my passport.

[00:22:10]

I turn to Lou.

[00:22:11]

I know. I was thinking like I would just steal clothes from Jackie. You could go to the mall. I could go to Puerto Rico. But I don't want, like. But I could. But that's like I've been a million times.

[00:22:19]

Yeah, that's your place.

[00:22:20]

It is my place. But Taylor Strecker is in St. Bart's and she's just like. Is making it look so gorgene. Look, I think I'm going to go to St. Bart's. You should. I've never been.

[00:22:29]

It's not a big be able to go from here.

[00:22:30]

I know, but I don't have a passport. Actually, I could have somebody like Ben'sister go into my apartment and just like overnight it to me.

[00:22:36]

Yeah, I like that for you.

[00:22:38]

I like it too. But Ben is just like.

[00:22:40]

And then you could come back here to decompress after your trip.

[00:22:43]

No, the thing, like I live here now. Now that there's a mouse in my apartment.

[00:22:47]

So true.

[00:22:48]

Never gonna see me in New York.

[00:22:50]

And I got you a car.

[00:22:51]

You got me a car?

[00:22:53]

I got her an easygo golf cart. That's street legal.

[00:22:55]

Wait, also car. Really quick. Ben and I. Ben took Jackie's Tesla up for this weekend. On Saturday he had to drive to Orlando. Him and Josh had like a live podcast for BBYO, which is the largest convention of young Jewish Teenagers. There were 6000 teenagers coming to see Ben and Josh.

[00:23:09]

It's the largest convention of Ben and.

[00:23:10]

Josh's, by the way. So Shapiro went with Ben and took a picture of the audience. I'm like zooming in on these kids. I'm like, that's literally Ben. It's like these just snot nosed jewish teenagers who are 16, like floppy hair. Floppy hair. It was Ben.

[00:23:23]

It was a convention, actually.

[00:23:24]

Your husband did bbyo. It was your husband? Yeah. He actually said bbyo was not a thing that we did growing up, but like a lot of young jewish teenagers did it. It's kind of like girl scouts. What's the opposite of girl scouts? Boy scouts. My God, that was really dumb for jews. Except you don't make fires and stuff. You like talk and listen to the good guys. But you basically get to together every week with your chapter in your neighborhood. And then once a year there's like this big convention. So that's what Ben and Josh did. He took your Tesla there. And then he came back and him and I drove to Miami. We had a wedding this weekend. So Ben was in the car for, like, 6 hours, and so he really got to know the Tesla on a deep level. And let me tell you, he hated it.

[00:24:02]

Okay. He hated it because it wasn't the right car for his trip.

[00:24:06]

It's not a car for, like, a road trip.

[00:24:08]

Who knew? I mean, I only know little neighborhood driving. I charge my car maybe once a week. I didn't know the battery was so short if you're doing long distance driving.

[00:24:17]

So it added probably, to Ben's Orlando trip. It probably added an hour or maybe even two of charging, waiting time.

[00:24:23]

He needed to charge on the way there. He should have charged while he was there. He needs to charge on the way home. And a full charge is, like 40 minutes. So he was crazy.

[00:24:30]

He was at BBYO for 3 hours. Left the car at a charger in the hotel.

[00:24:35]

No, they didn't charge it.

[00:24:36]

Yeah, they did.

[00:24:37]

I thought their issue was that they didn't charge.

[00:24:39]

No, they did, but it was, like, the crappiest one. They were gone for 3 hours. They got 13%.

[00:24:43]

So it didn't charge.

[00:24:44]

Yeah. And Ben had to spend $30 on this stupid app, and he couldn't get his money out. Like, whatever. So then he charged on the way back at a supercharger, and it was just a lot.

[00:24:53]

Yeah.

[00:24:54]

So it's not the right car for any sort of long distance driving.

[00:24:58]

Right. But he said it's the perfect car for me. And he also loved how it drove.

[00:25:02]

He was like, I looked down at one point. I didn't even realize I was driving 115 miles an hour. It's so smooth, and it is. Ben would look over it, and he would be driving. He'd be like, does it feel like we're going 90 right now? And I'd be like, no. And we were. It really is a very smooth, but it is not for.

[00:25:17]

So if I was convincing you to get a Tesla, but you drive a lot like that. Don't get a Tesla.

[00:25:23]

Yeah. If you do, like, big stretches of miles.

[00:25:26]

And I know what you're thinking, like, how could Elon miss on that? But the future of Tesla is to get solar panels on the roof of the car. So you're constantly being charged while you're driving.

[00:25:36]

Okay, wait. I also discovered something about the Tesla that, for me, invalidated the entire experience. I did not know you had to pay to charge your computer.

[00:25:46]

It is a computer. It's a computer on wheels.

[00:25:48]

I had no idea. Because I'm like, what's so great about Tesla is you're not paying for gas, but you're paying for energy.

[00:25:55]

How much is a full boat of energy?

[00:25:57]

I don't know. I didn't pay for it because we.

[00:25:59]

Have the charger in our house, and we didn't notice that our energy bill has gone up that much. Again, I don't charge it that much.

[00:26:04]

No. If you're charging it in your house, then, yeah, of course you're saving money.

[00:26:07]

No, it's still energy.

[00:26:08]

Yeah. The fact that you pay for energy makes no sense to me. What are you paying for? Like, waves?

[00:26:13]

If I want to use your outlet, do I need to pay you?

[00:26:16]

I don't get it. Yeah, so when Ben was, like, telling me about the charging and he said he paid for it, I'm like, wait, and actually, he didn't even pay for it. It charges to your Tesla account.

[00:26:24]

I got a thing.

[00:26:25]

Oh, and Jackie's gonna treat. Jackie's gonna have you say it's your treat now, but when all the bills come in from Ben's big day of driving a thousand, because you don't have an easy.

[00:26:33]

So he was just.

[00:26:34]

And he thought you did. So he was just rolling through all the tolls?

[00:26:38]

You know what? I'd rather him roll through than have to stop and curse me.

[00:26:41]

Yeah, totally. All the tolls. He definitely got some speeding tickets. He didn't get pulled over. But they have those cameras. You're going to get a bunch of letters with cameras because he drove all through Florida state. And your charging charges.

[00:26:54]

I wonder if I could.

[00:26:55]

I think we're going to end up owing you about $600 from Ben's stupid day in Orlando. And just send me a bill. So you say my treat now. Just send me a bill.

[00:27:02]

Not my treat.

[00:27:04]

Not your treat.

[00:27:05]

Well, I'm glad you guys got to get to know Tesla intimately. No.

[00:27:09]

And we have 28 minutes checking till Ben comes.

[00:27:11]

Okay, well, he could, like, wait outside the door.

[00:27:12]

He's being so crazy. I have a call. I have to do this.

[00:27:14]

This conversation is pertinent to the first story, okay. Because former Disney Channel star Bridget Menler.

[00:27:19]

Oh, my God. I'm so glad you chose this as a story.

[00:27:23]

Should I let people know the story? I'm so glad you chose this as a story. Former Bridget star Mendler former Disney Channel star Bridget Menler is now a space startup CEO Allah Elon, which is why it relates to Tesla. Bridget Menler has added a new role to her already impressive resume. On Monday, the former Disney Channel star, who is 31, announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she will serve as the CEO. Well, Elon is all over this story.

[00:27:47]

Let me tell you.

[00:27:48]

It's not about Elon, because this is about a powerful woman.

[00:27:50]

I need to tell you the context, though.

[00:27:51]

Okay.

[00:27:52]

Bridget Mendler is a Disney star from good luck Charlie. And she weirdly has this crazy fandom, mostly because she released one of the best songs of all time during her Disney contract. I'm boarding up the windows, locking up my heart, and people have been, like, begging Bridget Menler for new music. And in the past couple of months, she's been teasing something on Twitter. She's like, I have a major, major announcement. And the fact that everybody's been wanting new music from her, we just assumed. It's like, finally she's out of her Disney contract or whatever. She can release new music. She's been teasing and teasing and teasing this big, big announcement, and here it is.

[00:28:27]

Here it is. She's so excited to announce her $6.3 million seed, led by a bunch of funds and ventures vcs. She said, at Northwood space, we have our site set on building a data highway between earth and space. We are designing shared ground infrastructure from first principles to expand access to space. We have a lot of work ahead.

[00:28:45]

Of us, but that's the fun part.

[00:28:46]

If you like building quickly and seeing your work deployed in locations around the globe with real impact, we want you at Northwood. So she is the space girly. She has this whole space startup, startup. And she also announced that she has adopted a four year old child.

[00:29:01]

Yeah. She was like, oh, while I'm sharing things about my life that nobody knows, I'm also a mom. My kid is four. She was like a foster mom, like, four years ago. And I guess she just fell in love with the kid and adopted the.

[00:29:11]

Kid she started fostering in 2021. Adopted near Christmas of 2022, and he's a four year old boy now.

[00:29:18]

So was it the update we were expecting? No. Is it a great update? Yes. Love to see women in STEM, mothers in STEM. It's not what we were expecting. And I think the Bridget stands are so happy for the update. Although she's literally like the Rihanna of Disney Channel. It's like, where's the new album?

[00:29:37]

Yeah, I think this update, if I was waiting for an update from one of my favorite celebrities, it doesn't get better than this.

[00:29:43]

No, it's really good. Like, she's happy, she's successful, she's challenged, she's fulfilled. It's good, it's good. But it's like, who do you think will drop new music.

[00:29:51]

First.

[00:29:51]

Bridget Mendler or Rihanna?

[00:29:53]

Rihanna.

[00:29:54]

ASAP Rocky was photographed. Well, actually, no, he wasn't photographed. He was filmed. Somebody was taking picture with him, and the girl was like, when is Rihanna dropping new music? And he was like, she's working on it. And then it got me thinking about ASAP Rocky, because I feel like ASAP Rocky has become, like, a professional. He's, like, was known for being a rapper, and he had success, and then he started dating Rihanna, and now he's just, like a dad. He's Rihanna's man. Like, sorry, he's really not anything else. And I feel like he's so happy in that role. And when he was being asked, somebody hounded him on the street and didn't want to know anything about his career. They were, when is Rihanna releasing new music? And he was so happy. To answer the question, he didn't seem miffed at all. Like, maybe he went home and cried, but I really don't feel like he did. And I just was thinking about how much I like him.

[00:30:34]

Yeah, no, that's an attractive quality to recognize that you're with this supernova and not try and make it about you, because it's never going to be about you. And that would be incredibly sad.

[00:30:45]

No, totally. I feel like he's so happy, like, being Rihanna's man, being the father to her children. I feel like he takes his role as a dad really seriously. I feel like he just kind of put everything he was working on on the back burner happily.

[00:30:56]

Yeah.

[00:30:56]

I just kind of love that for him.

[00:30:58]

Yeah. I also want to say about Bridget and Menler, because she's giving, you know.

[00:31:06]

It'S giving Elon a musk.

[00:31:07]

Going to space, prioritizing parenthood, family.

[00:31:10]

Yeah.

[00:31:10]

Elon wears so many hats, and I think that when you're this smart, you're able to wear a lot of hats. And I think she could also wear a musical hat.

[00:31:18]

Yeah.

[00:31:18]

Because you would have thought Elon could go to space and do.

[00:31:20]

True.

[00:31:21]

It's true. So writing another song would be like a drop in the bucket for Bridget. So I wouldn't give up on new music, actually.

[00:31:27]

Yeah. If anything, this is inspiring and gives us hope that she can do it all.

[00:31:32]

She can accomplish so much.

[00:31:34]

Yeah. So just, like, was shocking, but not exciting.

[00:31:39]

You know who she reminds me of? Maybe it's just because in this one picture, she really looks like her.

[00:31:43]

Let me see.

[00:31:46]

January Jones, Elizabeth Zott, lessons in chemistry. She should have played her life imitating.

[00:31:53]

I like, who knew she was so.

[00:31:55]

Smart, right when I was googling Bridget Menler this morning, so I wanted to choose it as a story. I saw, like, the top search is Bridget Menler education?

[00:32:05]

Well, I'm sure now people are like.

[00:32:06]

No, because she went to MIT.

[00:32:08]

Oh, my God.

[00:32:09]

She has her phd.

[00:32:11]

Wow.

[00:32:12]

And she earned her JD from Harvard law, which once meant something.

[00:32:17]

So she's just obviously somebody who really appreciates and respects higher education.

[00:32:21]

Yeah. At the time when you should have appreciated and respected it, which is no longer the case, but still. And she also went to USC, so I guess in these years that she's.

[00:32:29]

Been quiet, she's been hushed, she's been.

[00:32:31]

Educating herself, and now she's doing the work.

[00:32:34]

You love to see women in academia, women in STEm, women in music. She's really in everything. Yeah, it's beautiful. I'm happy for her.

[00:32:42]

It's a great example for young women and young men.

[00:32:45]

I would love, love if her startup is actually successful in some way. Her and Elon definitely cross paths in the coming years.

[00:32:54]

It's either that or he's going to rip her to shreds.

[00:32:56]

Yeah.

[00:32:57]

So I just need to know Elon's take on it. Disposition. I'm sure. Maybe I could check X. I wonder if it's crossed his desk.

[00:33:04]

Not yet. Not yet. Now that the toast has spoken about it.

[00:33:08]

Meant to be maybe together, but maybe they're competitors.

[00:33:11]

I really don't understand what her company does. Like, a data information highway between us.

[00:33:14]

And space when it's, like, on the ground. No.

[00:33:17]

And it's like, who are we sending data to?

[00:33:20]

It could be, like, astronauts who are in. What are they called? Like, bases?

[00:33:25]

Yeah. Oh, that's true. There are people currently in space.

[00:33:27]

Elon services those bases by sending up parts and stuff.

[00:33:30]

And maybe she's sending up data from.

[00:33:32]

The ground, whatever that means that she has to charge for the energy that she's paying.

[00:33:37]

Right, right.

[00:33:38]

But I also could see it being like, her and Elon are meant to be together. We belong together.

[00:33:46]

By the way, he does love a musical girl. Grimes.

[00:33:50]

Him and Grimes are not together right.

[00:33:51]

Now, even though I do feel like they are OTP. I'm not really actively out here shipping him with other people.

[00:33:58]

I thought so, too, but they're in a custody battle.

[00:34:01]

Yeah, but I feel like it's just, like, for fun, when you have so much money, you just pay lawyers to make stuff up.

[00:34:06]

That I agree with, but I don't know. Things seem to have gotten really messy since the end of the book. We need a sequel.

[00:34:13]

Yeah, we need a sequel. If you had to have somebody write a biography of you, who would you want it to be? I would want it to be you, but you don't have to say me. I won't be offended.

[00:34:23]

I don't think you would want to write a biography about me.

[00:34:25]

Why not? Because it's not about me. Yeah, but in a way it is.

[00:34:29]

Yeah, but then I don't want to read.

[00:34:30]

I'll read. Then it'll end up being about me.

[00:34:32]

I'll just read yours.

[00:34:32]

Yeah. If you could have anyone, who do you think would write the most accurate? Like, honestly me?

[00:34:37]

Honestly you. But I think I don't have an answer. Top of mind. I would need to interview, know, like, maybe like a literary authorial toaster with their big break.

[00:34:48]

And then I would be like a.

[00:34:49]

Source, constantly interviewed, constantly thanked in the acknowledgement, of course.

[00:34:54]

Of course. Footnotes.

[00:34:55]

Are you ready for our next story? Switching gears.

[00:34:57]

Yes.

[00:34:58]

Because Meghan Markle's suits co star Rick Hoffman claims that there was a foul smell during her wedding to Prince Harry.

[00:35:05]

Yeah, we've spoken about this story on the toast.

[00:35:07]

We spoke about his face. Yeah.

[00:35:10]

And he has explained what happened. But with the resurgence of suits, now everyone's going back, seeing who was at the royal wedding, and why did his face look like that? So the story is getting a second life. But I did know this.

[00:35:20]

Okay. Well, I feel like I would remember it and I didn't.

[00:35:26]

It was about that lady's breath, right?

[00:35:27]

No, it was about. Oh, was it about a lady's breath? I thought it was a smell in the place.

[00:35:32]

No, he said the lady next to him. So when he went to the royal wedding and they panned to him for a second, and he had this just, like, mug on his face. Like, he looked so disinterested, so bored, so mad, and it became a meme. And he eventually. So many people were asking him about it. He did eventually admit that in the moment they caught him on camera, he happened to be turning his face away because the lady next to him had the most foul smelling breath.

[00:35:57]

Got it.

[00:35:58]

Okay.

[00:35:58]

Because he went on chicks in the office and they talked about the viral moment. And he said he was trying to keep his cool because he was excited, but there were cameras everywhere. And as time goes on, I'm starting to smell something really terrible and foul. He shared that he's very sensitive to smells like you.

[00:36:10]

Oh, my God. Me and Rick have so much in common. Also, Rick's movie is out Thanksgiving. We need to see it. We said we would.

[00:36:16]

He's in the movie. It's number one on Netflix.

[00:36:18]

I know. I saw. Addison Rae posted that, too. It's like a movie made for us. Addison Rae, Tim Dillon, Rick Hoffman, I'm sure. Eli Roth, jewish king like.

[00:36:26]

But I don't like slasher films.

[00:36:27]

No, me neither.

[00:36:28]

But we have to watch playing on my tv to support.

[00:36:30]

Yeah, even though it's, like, number one. They don't need your support, but we need to watch it still.

[00:36:33]

I like to lend support. You do?

[00:36:34]

You do?

[00:36:35]

To causes big and small. It's just good precedent. Anyways, he had a scented moisturizer on his hand, so he was trying to smell that instead.

[00:36:45]

Interesting. This is, like, so unfortunate. And I feel as though I can't talk about Rick Hoffman without talking about the. Like, his connection to princesses Long island is so criminally underrepresented in the media.

[00:36:59]

What's the connection?

[00:37:00]

There was a girl on there who was dating his brother Jeff. They look.

[00:37:03]

I think you've said this.

[00:37:04]

Look him up. Look up Jeff Hoffman. Jackie, they look exactly alike. And suits was on tv as princesses Long island was so. It was like a really big flex for this girl. She was so annoying about it. Like, yeah, my husband. My boyfriend's brother's on this little show.

[00:37:19]

He's a billionaire.

[00:37:20]

Jeff.

[00:37:21]

Yeah. Billionaire advice.

[00:37:23]

That's not him.

[00:37:24]

Oh, there's also a baseball player.

[00:37:26]

Hold on. Maybe his name wasn't Jeff.

[00:37:30]

Oh, okay. Let me just look up why this.

[00:37:32]

Looks like Jeff Hoffman.

[00:37:34]

Looks like Rick Hoffman's brother.

[00:37:35]

That's not him. Okay, now Google Jeff Hoffman, princesses Long island. Okay, there we go. This guy. Was that him? Did he get. Oh, yes. This guy. First of all, he looks so much like Rick Hoffman. Yeah, and he was dating which girl? Which girl? I forget.

[00:37:55]

A blonde girl.

[00:37:56]

They were all blonde.

[00:37:58]

True. I'm pulling up a story about her.

[00:38:01]

Me too. What was the girl's name?

[00:38:05]

This site is so slow.

[00:38:06]

No, and by the way, there's, like, so little information online about princesses Long island.

[00:38:10]

Like nobody cared unless it's been scrubbed.

[00:38:13]

Amanda was her name.

[00:38:14]

That site is, like, slowing down my.

[00:38:17]

Yeah, yeah. And I just feel like not enough people talk about that. So whenever we talk about Hoffman, like, I am going to bring it up.

[00:38:24]

I just wouldn't want headlines that my wedding was smelly.

[00:38:27]

I just feel like there are so many headlines about her wedding. I'm sure she's actually not worried about this one. And if her wedding was smelly, I actually don't think it would be a reflection on Megan.

[00:38:36]

She's in an old. No no.

[00:38:37]

It would be a reflection on the janitorial staff. Like, it has nothing to do with Megan.

[00:38:42]

It's a hundred years of smells in. Like, it's a badge of honor. It's 50 shades of if your church ain't smelling. Yeah, it's too new.

[00:38:49]

It's going to Hellen.

[00:38:52]

There's not enough herstery in it.

[00:38:54]

Yeah, I agree. Although I feel like fabrize.

[00:39:00]

No.

[00:39:01]

Remember, like, at camp, how Fabrize was laundry for us? Yeah, I think about that all the time. How I used to literally sweat to death this pair of biker shorts. Fabrize the crotch. We're good.

[00:39:10]

Oh, that's never been me. I'm never someone that would mask a smell with another smell. We have to identify the source of the smell.

[00:39:17]

It was smelly Kuchi. But I needed to wear these biker shorts again, so, like, Febreze, here we come. Then you would leave it on the porch to air out a little bit. That was like modern laundry in camp days.

[00:39:27]

That's so scary to put those chemicals near vagina. Your reproductive organs.

[00:39:31]

Yeah. You're so 75. Like, it's insane.

[00:39:36]

Oh. Are you ready for our next story?

[00:39:38]

What, number three? Yeah.

[00:39:40]

Some exciting couple news of a couple I always forget about. So I like to be constantly reminded that they're together and procreating.

[00:39:47]

Okay. I feel like I recently saw a couple, like, news about a couple. And I was like, oh, my God, I forgot. They're together.

[00:39:52]

A couple having a baby.

[00:39:53]

I don't remember. Who is it?

[00:39:54]

Rooney Mara is pregnant, expecting baby number two with Joaquin Phoenix.

[00:39:58]

Okay, this is not who I was thinking about. Who was I thinking about? Who I saw a story about. I'm like, love them. Forget that they're together. No, that's not who it was. Okay. I'm so glad. I just remembered this whole story. Michelle Dockery, Lady Mary from Downton Abbey, got married, and it was big news because most of the cast was there. So it's like they're all on good terms. And do you know her tragic love story that mirrors that of her characters? Her fiance, seven years ago, passed away from cancer. So she's been, like, really sort of devastated for years, and now she's found a happy ending. And that's why it was, like, this big story. I read it in the Daily Mail. They got great pictures. But then it put me on this Downton Abbey spiral. I was scrolling TikTok. And I follow Highclair Castle on TikTok. They have an account that's the real life castle where they filmed Downton Abbey. It's like a real castle with a lot of history and this family owns it. And they were like, we know you've heard the rumors. We can either confirm nor deny. And I'm like, what rumors?

[00:40:59]

So I read through the comments. Apparently there's like a very legitimate rumor that the cast of Downton Abbey has gotten together to film the show. Like the show's coming back like another installment. And it was just rumors. But then the lady from Highclair Castle was giving it energy and basically confirming it.

[00:41:16]

You don't think she's just like hustling for the.

[00:41:19]

No, but she does hustle for the castle. I want to make that known. They do tours they've really profited off of.

[00:41:26]

They rented it out to a show in general and it's very hard to.

[00:41:29]

Keep those big palaces. You need a lot of money and so they're definitely milking it. Yeah, and the TikTok account.

[00:41:35]

And also, if they're going to do like another show, wouldn't they do another movie instead? Even though the show is better, the show is better. I want another show. It sounds too good to be true. And I've had my heartbroken so many times by the few pieces of content that I care about.

[00:41:53]

It's just like one of those shows that's so crazy. They keep bringing it back in different forms and it doesn't ruin the legacy at all. It's just magic when these people are together. So just you're going to keep making movies like bring the fucking show back? What are you doing? Yeah, I think a lot of people also really want know how the family fares during World War II. Yeah, so it's like an interesting time period because what were they up to in the movies? Like 31.

[00:42:10]

27 was the first movie and so, yeah, maybe 30 or 31, but if it's World War II, like the kids are going to get called up.

[00:42:19]

No, it'll be interesting.

[00:42:20]

And then they use those big castles. The castles? Yeah. How did they use them in the second war and maybe similar to the.

[00:42:28]

First as like barracks and I was like a hospital.

[00:42:31]

Yeah.

[00:42:32]

So I don't know if it's true, but rumors are swirling in the community, the Downton community. And then the lady from the highclair castle kind of gave me hope.

[00:42:40]

Well, I love that.

[00:42:41]

That's what reminded me. I'm sorry. Now you go.

[00:42:43]

No, I'm glad that we were able to incorporated that, but Rooney matter is pregnant. Baby number two, Joaquin Phoenix.

[00:42:49]

I didn't even know she had a baby. I know that these two are together. Like, if you would have asked me, I would have known. But I never think about, like, they would be if they weren't a couple. They'd be brother and sister. Do you know what I mean? That's how you know it's like a good couple.

[00:42:59]

Yeah.

[00:42:59]

So happy for them. I'm really not familiar with Rooney. I've seen Dragon Tattoo, same. That movie really pissed me off.

[00:43:09]

Why?

[00:43:09]

Because she should have been with that guy. He never took her seriously. And that's how the movie ended. The older guy. I don't remember anything about the movie, but I remember that final scene where she goes to bring him a leather jacket because she, like, they fucked and he was like, with some hooker at a bar. And she was like, she threw the jacket in the dumpster. And then that was like the pretense for the next movie. She was like, angry. There's a sequel, girl with the Pearl. Famous art?

[00:43:34]

Certainly not.

[00:43:35]

No, it's like the girl with the Pearl tattoo. There's something Pearl in the second movie.

[00:43:38]

Or the Snake, but she doesn't.

[00:43:40]

Rudy Marrett was not in the second movie. So the second movie was like kind of a flop.

[00:43:44]

Oh.

[00:43:45]

She didn't play the character. That's why there was, like, no hype for the second movie. Got it. So that movie just pissed me off because they should have been together. And maybe they do get together.

[00:43:52]

Just like a twisted movie. One of the more twisted movies that I've seen.

[00:43:56]

Oh, my God, you're right. I totally forgot. That scene is very upsetting. So she gets put on a case, right?

[00:44:03]

Yeah.

[00:44:03]

Why am I having such a hard time remembering?

[00:44:04]

We just watched the family. That girl had disappeared so many years ago. Oh.

[00:44:10]

She was in the basement of that guy's house.

[00:44:12]

The brother. Sorry, spoils. The brother was like. But no, she was alive the whole time. Living as her old, like, living in the UK under someone else's name. The girl that disappeared from her family. I think because her brother was abusing her.

[00:44:27]

And it was the brother. Yeah. And he had that thing in the basement. Right.

[00:44:31]

He was nefarious all these years, but she disappeared without a trace to get.

[00:44:36]

Away from her freaky ass brother.

[00:44:37]

And then she was living well. Yeah, but then they found out that the brother was a horrible person. They found out all this more.

[00:44:44]

Right, right. Disturbing stuff. Good movie. Yeah, you don't need to see it. We just showed it to you.

[00:44:48]

Spoiled it for you.

[00:44:49]

Yeah.

[00:44:50]

Okay. Our next story was kind of like some relationship news. That was here and then it was gone.

[00:44:55]

Okay.

[00:44:55]

Because Sean Evans from hot ones.

[00:44:58]

Oh, my God.

[00:44:59]

I'm so glad you brought up this story. Literally 1 minute dating Melissa Stratton, who is a porn star, and now they broke up 1 minute later and she's deactivated her instagram account.

[00:45:09]

I feel like porn star is like a word that's not going to be lexicon.

[00:45:13]

I agree.

[00:45:13]

But it was sex worker, I think they call it, which feels worse.

[00:45:16]

I don't think it's sex worker. I think sex worker is prostitute. Yeah. Adult film star.

[00:45:22]

No.

[00:45:22]

By the way, adult film star is porn.

[00:45:24]

Yeah, but only fans, models and stuff. It's called sex work. It definitely is.

[00:45:29]

I think maybe it's.

[00:45:30]

I mean, your work is sex.

[00:45:31]

Maybe it's the umbrella term. Adult film star is probably more pc way, but I just want to say, like, porn was in the headline, but I felt the same way when I said it.

[00:45:39]

It's a crazy title, but it's also like a crazy line of work.

[00:45:42]

Yeah. And how do the porn stars want.

[00:45:44]

To be referred to? I feel like they just don't. I feel like to be like, a real successful porn star, like, you have to not give a fuck.

[00:45:51]

And here we are, like, bending over.

[00:45:53]

Backwards about the language to respect their pronouns. They don't even care. Right, porn star. It's fine.

[00:46:00]

Melissa Stratton was dating hot ones host Sean Evans, who was a very eligible bachelor. I feel like time a single woman goes on his show, it's.

[00:46:07]

Yeah, yeah. And I guess we never thought maybe he has a girlfriend. So it came out that he actually does have a girlfriend, and it's this adult film star and people, for some reason, could not get over this story, and it became bigger news than it probably should have. And this other porn star, this male porn star, I think he's that girl, Lena the plug's boyfriend. I think his name is Adam. Like, him and his wife have this whole thing where they have threesomes with people on their onlyfans and talk about it on their podcast. It's really crazy. Wow. And he was like. He responded to the tweet and was like, wow, congrats, Sean. Like, her p word me when is fire or something. He's obviously worked with her before. And the second he tweeted that, it came out that Sean Evans broke up with the girl. It was this whole weird thing that kind of unfolded on social media.

[00:46:54]

You really think that's why he broke up with her?

[00:46:55]

I don't know.

[00:46:56]

I don't think so. I don't know, because obviously he knows.

[00:47:01]

What she does, but it's just, like, I wouldn't get the vibe from him based on his show. He's kind of nerdy. Yeah, he's eligible and stuff, but he asks questions like, a snot nosed little kid like you posted on Instagram.

[00:47:12]

He's kind of a nerd. That type of person that would be.

[00:47:15]

Like, into a porn star.

[00:47:16]

Like, just so excited that this hot person that he probably has been watching wants to go out with him.

[00:47:23]

Yeah, it's kind of like a nerd's fantasy. Yeah, it was just crazy. It was crazy.

[00:47:29]

How long, in total, do you think they were dating?

[00:47:31]

So I don't know. I don't know if we just found out.

[00:47:33]

I think we just found out because they probably went on a number of.

[00:47:36]

Dates and there was a picture of them. I think it was a picture of them at the Super bowl together. That might have just been, like, their first public photo.

[00:47:43]

Yeah. Probably the first time that their industries have crossed paths.

[00:47:46]

Because the Super bowl is for everyone.

[00:47:48]

For everyone. I don't know how often. Like, the YouTube series and the. Even though the show is called hot ones and she is the hot ones.

[00:47:55]

Maybe she would be the next guest.

[00:47:58]

Life imitating art.

[00:48:00]

It was a crazy saga on social media. Do I think the tweet had to do with the breakup? I don't know. It can't feel good.

[00:48:09]

But it's not new news.

[00:48:11]

It's not new news. Like, you're dating a porn star. Like, get with the program. I don't know.

[00:48:16]

Are you ready for our fifth and final. No. Okay.

[00:48:23]

I'm so ill prepared, it's disgusting.

[00:48:25]

It's okay, turdy.

[00:48:26]

The fifth and final story is brought to you by McDonald's. As toasters know, we are truly, wholeheartedly obsessed with McDonald's. Like, there's nothing better than a long night ordering some, you know, middle of the day, pulling up at the drive thru, worshiping your meal down with a nice soda from McDonald's. Honestly, a dream. That's why we're so excited to partner with McDonald's, to talk about their classic burgers, which are hotter, juicier, and tastier than ever before. So much so that the hamburger is on the loose, giving nostalgia so we have nothing but empathy and respect for the hamburglar. Because how could you not blame him for trying to get himself the Big Mac that he deserves? The McDonald's patties are cooked to juicy perfection. The cheese is perfectly melted. We're talking a pillowy, soft golden bun and a Big Mac that now has more special sauce in every bite. So we stand firmly with the hamburger because these are truly McDonald's best classic burgers ever. So this might be the kind of inspiration you needed. We're always talking about what we're having for lunch. Why don't you have a burger from McDonald's? They're delicious. And I just feel like nobody ever regretted going to McDonald's.

[00:49:23]

So try McDonald's. Best burgers ever at a McDonald's near you. Today's episode is also brought to you by betterhelp. A common misconception about relationships is that they have to be right. They have to be easy to be right. But sometimes the best ones happen when both people put in the work and make themselves great. Therapy can be a place to work through the challenges that you face in your relationships, whether with friends, work, your significant other, or really anyone. So if you're thinking of starting therapy, give betterhelp a try. It's done entirely online. It's designed to be convenient, flexible, and suited to your schedule. So just fill out a brief questionnaire. You'll get matched with a licensed therapist and switch therapists at any time for no additional charge. So the two things that I think are really important to note here about betterhelp is, first, it's done entirely online, which I think is a lot easier and more comfortable for people to open up whatever medium you're most comfortable with, whether that's video chat, texting, phone call, og you can do. Also, a common thing with therapy is, like, the first time you meet a therapist, it's not going to be a right match.

[00:50:16]

And that's not a reflection on therapist. It's just really personal. So sometimes you go through like two, three therapists till you find the right one. And that can be really awkward, like, canceling and just, like, having to call them, like, just horrible. With betterhelp, they make it super easy. It's like, not a big deal. You can change therapists at any time.

[00:50:31]

Would you say therapy is more personal than comedy?

[00:50:33]

I would. Thank you. Become your own soulmate. Whether you're looking for one or not. Visit betterhelp.com toast today to get 10% off your first month. That's betterhelp. Help toast to a st.

[00:50:46]

Thank you.

[00:50:46]

You're welcome.

[00:50:47]

Our fifth and final story is some big movie news. A very ambitious project is being taken on by Sony and Apple Corpse by oscar winning filmmaker Sam Mendez. He is going to be making a movie about the Beatles, but there'll be four separate movies, all told from the different perspective of each Beatle, and they'll all be in each other's movie. I feel like this is something we're always kind of saying. So Sam Mendes will direct all four of the films, and this marks the first time that Apple Corpse Limited and the Beatles have granted full life.

[00:51:19]

What's Apple Corpse Limited?

[00:51:21]

I feel like that's who owns the Beatles and the family life story. Yeah.

[00:51:26]

Okay.

[00:51:26]

They've granted full life story and music rights for a scripted film. Sam Mendes conceived this grand vision. He'll tell interconnected stories, one from each band member's point of view. This is perhaps the most ambitious project Deadline has revealed exclusively since a different field about a different movie, about Tom Cruise and SpaceX and NASA shooting. A narrative film just comes back to Elon anyways, so four movies about the four members of the Beatles, interconnected different worlds, one big project.

[00:51:55]

That's cool. I feel like, honestly, there really hasn't been a biopic of the Beatles. Really?

[00:52:00]

What about yesterday?

[00:52:01]

That was like a fictionalized, dumb ass movie. Yeah. And I don't think one film could really capture the band. And I think if you're really. I'm not going to watch these movies. I'm just personally not invested in the journey of the Beatles. But if you like, I think this is really exciting and really cool.

[00:52:19]

Well, I feel like a way for you to watch them, potentially, is. Depends who's in them. Like, what if Jacob Elordi is John Lennon?

[00:52:24]

Well, then it's also like, everyone's going to watch a John Lennon one. Yeah.

[00:52:28]

And then they all get their own movie.

[00:52:30]

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Everyone's going to watch a John Lennon.

[00:52:32]

One, Paul McCartney, and then a lot.

[00:52:34]

Of people are going to watch a Paul McCartney one. And I just don't see, like, a lot watching Ringo, and I don't even know the other one's name.

[00:52:40]

Yeah. George Harrison. I just.

[00:52:44]

So. But I do think the Beatles have never really told their story. And Paul McCartney and Ringo are still alive. Is George.

[00:52:55]

I don't know.

[00:52:56]

Right. Irrelevant. So they really need to do it. They need to put it on record in an official way. So. Love that. I'm sure Paul will get his side told in.

[00:53:08]

He's passed away.

[00:53:09]

Right.

[00:53:10]

So we're two out of four. Yeah.

[00:53:12]

They need to get pen to paper and start writing things down.

[00:53:15]

Yeah. Also, will they film them all and then release them, what, like six months after each other, a year after each other? We don't want to wait too long in between. And in what order will they come out? Probably John's will come out first, but.

[00:53:25]

Then it's like, john will come out first or last.

[00:53:27]

Yeah, but if four years later, like, George's is coming out.

[00:53:32]

Right. They kind of. Kind of get, like, George's out of the way.

[00:53:34]

This is kind of, like, a little. I like the idea. Ambitious so much, but it's kind of what can be accomplished with a series. Every episode is told from a different perspective or even within one movie a series.

[00:53:45]

I like that.

[00:53:46]

Yeah. I think what I like is if they did a series of movies about, say, the biggest stars of this era. So say it was like, elvis and the Beatles, maybe some other people. And the people who play Elvis and the Beatles are all in each other's movies as each other.

[00:54:03]

Okay. It's giving Taylor Jenkins read how her fictional characters, Mick Reeva, like, show up in the different books just, like, for fun.

[00:54:11]

Yeah.

[00:54:12]

It's like its own universe.

[00:54:13]

Like, in this movie, if they run into somewhere, like, it should be Austin Butler.

[00:54:17]

That's kind of like what they do in, like, walk the line. Oh, it should be Austin Butler. I'm cracking up.

[00:54:21]

That's when they run into Johnny cash. It should be Joaquin Phoenix.

[00:54:23]

Right. Like, walk the he. When he was coming up, there were all these other country and blues artists coming up and they were real characters. And I like. You're right. Yeah.

[00:54:31]

But what we've said this on the show before is that for a period of time, it's like, someone plays Elvis, they should play Elvis in all answers.

[00:54:38]

It should be ubiquitous.

[00:54:39]

Where Elvis comes up, that's just like, a cute thing to.

[00:54:41]

Yeah. Yeah. But honestly, like, it's, like, enough with Elvis and Austin Butler.

[00:54:45]

Yeah, agreed. But I'm just using him as well.

[00:54:50]

So, like, for the Beatles stands now.

[00:54:52]

You know, Elton John.

[00:54:53]

It could be Taryn Egerton. Yeah. Love him.

[00:54:55]

If they ran into Freddie Mercury, Rami Malek. I would love that. That's giving, like, yeah.

[00:55:03]

Yeah.

[00:55:03]

Universe. Yeah.

[00:55:05]

Oh, it wasn't a story. The people's choice awards.

[00:55:07]

Oh, no.

[00:55:08]

But the one thing, because it's like a fake award show. But the one thing I did want to talk about. Did you see that video of Billie Eilish that's going viral? Yes.

[00:55:14]

Oh, shit. I meant to bring that. And I also saw another story on my phone that I had saved that I meant to put in the stories that I didn't.

[00:55:19]

So tomorrow, you can do that one tomorrow. But let's just talk about Billie Eilish really quickly. There's a video of her going viral. She's, like, talking to Jennifer Aniston and she thinks nobody can hear her. She says there's also, like, TikTokers here, which is just, like, weird. She said that? Yes, verbatim, not verbatim.

[00:55:34]

I watched the clip and I couldn't make out what she was saying, but the clip told me in the text that she was talking about TikTokers.

[00:55:39]

Billie Eilish TikTok. She literally said, yeah, and then Bryce hall is, like, getting involved.

[00:55:46]

I saw.

[00:55:48]

She's. No, she said, there's some TikTokers here. And then she covered her mouth and it was.

[00:55:57]

Wasn't. Yeah, no, it wasn't.

[00:55:59]

And it was to Jennifer Aniston, which.

[00:56:01]

Doesn'T give a rip.

[00:56:02]

But so that's the thing. That's what the People's Choice Awards.

[00:56:05]

Jennifer Aniston thinks Billie Eilish is a TikToker.

[00:56:07]

Yeah, but the thing is, that's what the People's Choice awards are. Everybody knows they're kind of like this weird industry plant show from top to bottom of celebrities. So why would you go? Billie Eilish, don't go. You just went to the Grammys, you were nominated. Like, you're on the Oscars.

[00:56:20]

It's giving elitist. What, there's not elite award shows for you to attend and also don't go.

[00:56:25]

This is what it is.

[00:56:26]

This is the people's choice. So it's a 360 award show and influencers are.

[00:56:32]

Sorry.

[00:56:33]

Amongst the choices of the people. It was very snobish.

[00:56:37]

It was snobish. Especially, like, Billie Eilish, like, her music.

[00:56:40]

If she said what we think that she said, and I also want to say, like, maybe she didn't. Maybe it's out of context and she didn't say that. But if she's saying, looking her nose down on the fact that TikTokers are there, it's snobbish and rude, and they have as much of a place there as anyone.

[00:56:54]

Yeah, but also, it's just a bothersome thing to say because your choice to go to the people's choice word, which she didn't have to go to, she goes to the Grammys. The Oscars. People's choice is low brow.

[00:57:05]

Yeah.

[00:57:06]

So you knew what you were going to. So, like, why are you don't go? Yeah. Like, you don't see Morgan Freeman there. You know what I mean?

[00:57:15]

You don't see him there.

[00:57:16]

You don't for a reason. And it was also weird that Jennifer Addison was a whole people's choice words are. So they got rid of their podcast category. What?

[00:57:26]

That's why I didn't give a rip.

[00:57:28]

They got rid of it.

[00:57:29]

That's literally the only reason I've cared about the.

[00:57:31]

Yeah, of course.

[00:57:31]

It's so interesting because I'm like, oh. And not a lot of traditional award shows have podcasts. They're like, you could try the potties.

[00:57:38]

You could try the iHeartRadio podcast awards where we only nominate our own original iHeartRadio podcast.

[00:57:43]

It's giving. You could go shave your back now. Why did they get rid of it even online?

[00:57:49]

Yeah. Like, everything. The award is gone.

[00:57:53]

Well, that's wrong.

[00:57:54]

Yeah.

[00:57:55]

Oh, my God. I didn't even realize. Wow.

[00:58:00]

So it's just like a weird award show. It always confuses me.

[00:58:04]

Yeah. But I feel like if you're a celebrity who likes to go to things.

[00:58:07]

And get dressed up, Billy Eilish is not that type of celebrity.

[00:58:10]

No. But if I were a celebrity who likes to get dressed up, Vanessa Hudgens, I would go. I would probably have a blast. And it's probably a little more relaxed than the other shows I saw. Natasha Benningfield arrived, and that's the kind of content I like to see as an elder.

[00:58:23]

Natasha Benningfield is having, like, a resurgence. She's really big on TikTok. And of course, everybody's always talking about unwritten. I've had enough with unwritten, and I've really had enough of people sleeping on Natasha Beddingfield's follow up work to that.

[00:58:34]

No.

[00:58:35]

What's that album called? Weightless.

[00:58:36]

Yeah. The sky is the limit. And I just want to float free as a spirit on a journey of hope.

[00:58:46]

Cut my wings and let me go I'm weightless. What movie ends with that song?

[00:58:53]

The best movie.

[00:58:54]

The best movie. Wait, it could bring tears to your eyes. I think it's something borrowed. Oh, and I. Hold on.

[00:59:03]

That would make sense for you because I don't have a memory. And you watch that movie backwards and forward.

[00:59:07]

I'm pretty sure. Something borrowed. Final credit song.

[00:59:21]

Yeah. That's a really good album. I need to put that on.

[00:59:23]

It's a really good album.

[00:59:25]

I forgot about it. That's like a core memory for me. But hopefully for the people who are having their unwritten renaissance. Right. Like, they will wade.

[00:59:34]

Yeah. Into that.

[00:59:37]

This is what's next for them.

[00:59:38]

Wait, Natasha Beddingfield. I just need to find out what song. It might be a different song from that album. It was just like a random recover. We will recover song by Natasha Beddingfield. This is bothering me now.

[00:59:51]

You know what I missed?

[00:59:54]

What song is this?

[00:59:55]

Recover. I think I know.

[00:59:57]

This is waitlist, right? It's like a car crash. That's how the movie ends.

[01:00:05]

She's going to find the name.

[01:00:07]

It's bothering you guys should all listen.

[01:00:08]

To that album today. We never leave you astray little too.

[01:00:11]

Much everybody hurts just a little too much that album is so good. What's it called? Strip me.

[01:00:17]

Strip me. Strip me to me.

[01:00:20]

That's up there with, like, native by one republic.

[01:00:22]

Agreed. But I don't remember it enough.

[01:00:25]

No. And there was a time where we listened to every song on that album.

[01:00:29]

Yeah.

[01:00:29]

We listened to it in the car today.

[01:00:31]

We 100% should. Windows down.

[01:00:33]

Windows down.

[01:00:34]

Sunglasses on.

[01:00:35]

Yeah.

[01:00:36]

Love that for us.

[01:00:37]

So let's wrap this up. Ben is going to join me in studio to discuss a little bit of love is mine. So, Jackie, thank you so much for being here.

[01:00:45]

You're welcome for being on my show.

[01:00:46]

Thank you for joining me on my show.

[01:00:48]

You're welcome for joining my show.

[01:00:50]

Bruno, thank you so much for being here. Thanks for coming to my set, you guys.

[01:00:53]

Ben waiting outside yet?

[01:00:54]

No, he's being delayed. So, like, we're going to wrap this.

[01:00:57]

Oh, okay. And I just. Just want to say, like, bruno has decided to come back to work in full force, and it's giving Theo.

[01:01:02]

And what does that mean to you?

[01:01:03]

It means a lot to me. And it's just so crazy. He's never here. And I'm like, sitting here with this precious pup on my lap and it's, like, so cute for clips. But I also probably look like the girl who can't let go of her dog. But I just want you guys to.

[01:01:12]

Know I can't let go of you.

[01:01:13]

It's Bruno choosing this.

[01:01:14]

Yeah.

[01:01:15]

I'm not forcing him to be here.

[01:01:17]

Look, ma, no hands. All right, you guys, so I'll see you in 10 seconds with Ben. Love you.

[01:01:22]

Bye.

[01:01:22]

Love you.

[01:01:23]

Bye. All right.

[01:01:24]

I am joined by my husband. Hey, sexylicious.

[01:01:27]

Hi, darling.

[01:01:28]

You can move the microphone closer to you. Don't be shy.

[01:01:30]

Is this not close?

[01:01:31]

It is. You are being brought here because Jackie has not watched love is blind. I'm trying to get her to finish all the episodes by today, which, by the way, is.

[01:01:38]

So she's on episode two, but she's doing herself a disservice.

[01:01:41]

We're obsessed. I was saying on the show earlier, we're like crackheads. Like, we need. Love is blind. Like, scratching.

[01:01:45]

I needed more.

[01:01:46]

So let's do a little recap of the first six episodes. I know you have limited time because you're so busy and you hate me and you think your podcast is I.

[01:01:52]

Love you so much you think you're.

[01:01:55]

Too big to be on my.

[01:01:56]

We're going to run through this quickly. That said, the names of people are a little bit fuzzy for me, so.

[01:02:02]

I have them all written down and I'll remind you who's who favorite. I think the best way to go about it would just to be go through each couple that we currently have. And you're not chewing gum on my podcast. Spit it out.

[01:02:12]

Is that a problem?

[01:02:12]

Give it.

[01:02:13]

Is that an issue? Is that an issue? What's the issue?

[01:02:17]

Disgusting. I apologize for anybody who had to listen to that the last minute.

[01:02:20]

Oh, I didn't even think about the audio. Continue.

[01:02:22]

So let's go couple by couple and give our thoughts.

[01:02:24]

Great.

[01:02:24]

First couple is Johnny and Amy. They were the first to get engaged. He has the long blonde hair. She's Puerto rican. She looked up at the stars.

[01:02:32]

I know exactly who looked up at.

[01:02:33]

The stars and wished for a brother. And then she got a brother. Yes.

[01:02:36]

I know exactly who they are.

[01:02:38]

What are your thoughts on them? Do you think they'll make it?

[01:02:40]

My thoughts on them are that she mentioned that she doesn't traditionally date guys like him.

[01:02:45]

White.

[01:02:45]

Yeah.

[01:02:46]

She definitely said she prefers more ethnic. Yes.

[01:02:50]

But then she almost used it as a qualifier. But then keeps talking about how much she's starting to like him and like him and like him.

[01:02:58]

I don't think she likes.

[01:02:59]

Okay, so you don't think she likes him? I think that they'll make it. And she was more like taking aback. No. Wanted the people back home. Gave a qualifier to her friends and family.

[01:03:14]

Got it.

[01:03:14]

I know that this isn't my normal guy, but he's great. And I'm starting to get to know him and start to like him. I think they're good.

[01:03:20]

He's really sweet.

[01:03:22]

No, he's a freak.

[01:03:23]

Yeah, he's like, a little much. And it's really hard during the honeymoon phase to know if people are lying about liking the person because they don't want to come off so shallow. Like, the first time they see the person in real life, if they're not physically attracted to them. You look shallow by being like, yeah, we had this amazing emotional connection, but the second I saw you, I think you're people. People lie at the honeymoon phase. And I think that's a great segue into the couple that everybody's talking about, which is Chelsea and Jimmy. Now, I do think it's important to note that looks aside, I really feel like on a personality level, Chelsea and Trevor, the big buff guy, totally were such a good match. I was actually watching the earlier episodes with Jackie last night. She's on episode one and two. And I'm like, these two freaks are perfect for each other. I don't know if Jimmy and Jessica are necessarily perfect for each other. I do think Chelsea and Trevor, like, on a real personality level were such a. Don't think. I think he really went into the experiment feeling like love was going to be blind.

[01:04:20]

Chelsea and Jimmy are completely mismatched. And let me tell you why. The first is that even if he did find her attractive, she would never believe him. She has such a low self esteem.

[01:04:31]

Okay.

[01:04:31]

So I actually didn't and opinion of herself because she's like, do you like me? Do you love me? Do you love me? He's saying yes. She doesn't believe him. So even if he really felt it, she wouldn't believe him.

[01:04:43]

So I disagree.

[01:04:44]

And a lot of people are saying what you're saying. I'm reading her comments and by the like, I feel really sad for Chelsea because me too. She is like, what everyone's talking about and they're talking about her look. So imagine the entire world is having a referendum on whether they think you're beautiful or like, I feel so bad for her. She's making a lot of content, like, poking fun at it. I think she's having fun with it. And for right now, I think she's probably because I can see this happening to someone and that person killing themselves.

[01:05:07]

She also lied, though.

[01:05:08]

It feels like. Okay, so we're going to talk about Megan Fox. But what I want to say about what you said, a lot of people are saying, chelsea, you're destroying this relationship with your insecurities. Like, it's not working because you're so deeply insecure. You could look at it that way, but you could also see, like, jimmy is gaslighting the fuck out of. Like, he is not attracted to her. He had a very bad reaction to seeing her. He said that his favorite thing about her was her teeth. And then she's like, I feel like you don't like me. And he's like, what are you talking? Like, he's literally gaslighting her. There is something. He is not acting like somebody who's obsessed with someone and she is receding that and she's asking questions and she's coming off really insecure for sure. But she has a reason to feel insecure.

[01:05:45]

She definitely has a reason to feel insecure. But she put herself like she's insecure because she lied in the pods about her looks. So obviously, regardless of if he was attracted to her, I'm coming at this.

[01:05:57]

In defense of Chelsea. I got it.

[01:05:58]

I am too. But I just want to say regardless.

[01:06:00]

Of said that she looked like Megan Fox, let me say that she said she's been told that she looks like Megan Fox. I've been told I look like Beanie Feldstein. I don't.

[01:06:10]

I understand. But there is a far cry from being told that you look like Megan Fox when you're in a complete blind experiment and where your mind goes to versus what she looks like. And that's not saying that Chelsea, I'm not commenting on Chelsea's looks whatsoever, but she does not look like what one would traditionally think of.

[01:06:32]

She has dark hair and light eyes.

[01:06:34]

And when you walk out and you're first like this is such a shell shocking experience, somebody walks out, you see them, you have this image in your head of what you created them to be. He's obviously not going to have like a, because she doesn't look like Megan Fox.

[01:06:47]

So then the other thing.

[01:06:48]

So he needed to come back down to life.

[01:06:49]

He needed to readjust the one thing I will say that Chelsea was wrong for when it comes to the Megan Fox thing, like whatever. Sharing your celebrity topple, ganger, like whatever. The time that she said it was actually really a manipulative moment. They were having this awkward tense moment because they were talking about Jessica and he was like, I want to change the subject. So she changes the subject to looks just to kind of put a little.

[01:07:08]

Because she knows what Jessica looks like.

[01:07:10]

To put a tick in her column. It was manipulative. I will say it was not manipulative. Actually. It was strategic because she wanted to be chosen. I don't know, this referendum on her looks and now she's getting roasted for saying she looked like Megan Fox. I feel bad for her.

[01:07:22]

I feel bad for her, too.

[01:07:23]

And I don't want to contribute to what people are. I actually feel bad for. And I feel like if this, she seems mentally tough based on her social media content. I went to her page to see what she was saying. She seems mentally tough, but I could see this happening to somebody who couldn't handle it. And literally this person, like she's clearly.

[01:07:39]

Mentally tough because what's going to happen again, spoiler alert.

[01:07:42]

Alert.

[01:07:43]

But if you're listening to this new watch, you saw the trailer for next week, she obviously falls in love with the guy that she should have. And so she's mentally tough because everything that we're watching is not her current reality. And happy for her that that's the case very clear in the everyone. And Jimmy, by the way, is not going to get with that.

[01:08:02]

Don't think. I do think Trevor. If Trevor can forgive Chelsea, I do think they should be together.

[01:08:06]

Trevor will forgive Chelsea.

[01:08:07]

I don't think that Jimmy and Jessica should be together for a multitude of reasons, but Jimmy is kind of being painted as the villain. People are like, he's a dick. I don't really feel like he did anything wrong. He is very clearly trying to backtrack. He said to Chelsea, he was like, when I told you I loved you, I actually hadn't made my decision yet. I just wanted to tell you that I loved you. He's backtracking to try and eventually maybe try and work things out with Jessica, but I don't think that they should. But I don't think he's necessarily done anything wrong.

[01:08:34]

He was also put in such a horrible position. Like, you're acting as if somebody telling you that they have a ten year old is not something that you need to take some time to process. They have no time. They've never met before.

[01:08:46]

She's allowed to not want to date someone with a not. Doesn't make you a bad person.

[01:08:52]

And I also disagreed with Jessica's approach, really saying that I want somebody to only know me for me. You have to let people know very early on that, look, you're going to know me for me, but me for me. She said it. She's like, we're a package deal. Me for me is me and my daughter and I want you to know my personality. But there are going to be guys that are really excited to adopt a ten year old and there are going to be guys, especially a 28 year old. Yeah, he's really young. Like, maybe he just wants a family of his own and that's totally okay. He doesn't want a stepdad. He doesn't want. So Jimmy got screwed. Jimmy then got screwed again because he had to pick from one of the two. But really, Jimmy should have picked no one.

[01:09:32]

That's the truth.

[01:09:33]

But Jimmy couldn't go from zero two to zero.

[01:09:34]

Yeah, I think that he was going to pick Jess is really not into the idea of being a stepfather, which is fine. So he ended up telling Chelsea that he loved her. Then he got himself in this awkward situation with Chelsea where he's, like, really not. He's not attracted to her, but he doesn't want to come off as a dick, and he doesn't want to be a dick to her, but he also doesn't want America to think he's a dick.

[01:09:50]

He's not being a dick.

[01:09:52]

I agree. And he is young. And speaking of young, I want to talk about my favorite couple currently, which is Kenneth and Brittany, the southerners who are very religious, who have said that they're going to wait till marriage. Who? For me, I love them, and I'll talk about them all day long. I cannot get over that he's a 25 year old principal.

[01:10:09]

No, it doesn't make any sense. Who the hell is hiring somebody 25 years old as a principal? He hasn't even been a teacher for more than three years.

[01:10:15]

But then it makes me think, like, when I was in middle school, they were 60. Yeah, right. It's so crazy.

[01:10:22]

Principals are 60.

[01:10:23]

And also, how do you go on love is blind and talk about sex and stuff and then go back to being a principal?

[01:10:27]

No. Well, he's not talking about sex because he doesn't have sex.

[01:10:29]

No, but he did talk about sex, but I guess it was in a positive way. He said he's going wait till marriage, but I don't know how you.

[01:10:35]

No, his job doesn't make any sense to me. A 25 year old principal. I have no idea. That said, their relationship is very cute.

[01:10:41]

I agree. And they're trying to make it seem like in the preview for next week that they're going to have problems, because when they get back to home, they're like, kenny, you've been acting different. I just feel like they needed to make us think they're. I think they are. Of anyone, like, the most locked in to get unsure.

[01:10:57]

Oh, I'm unsure.

[01:10:58]

Oh.

[01:10:59]

I just think that not having a physical relationship at all is hard. Is hard.

[01:11:03]

But I think if these two people were dating in the real world, they wouldn't have a physical relationship. That's that. That's how they date. I suppose it's not just because of the pods.

[01:11:12]

I suppose.

[01:11:13]

The other couple, two more couples, Jeremy and Lauren. Jeremy. Excuse me. Lauren is a blonde girl. This is with the flick, the. Yes. Yes. So I had thought that they were, like, a really good couple.

[01:11:24]

Me too.

[01:11:25]

Until that flip the bean or bean dip, whatever it was called.

[01:11:29]

Bean dip.

[01:11:29]

That was weird.

[01:11:30]

Yeah, but it was so much weirder. They're painting Lauren to be the villain.

[01:11:35]

No.

[01:11:35]

So much weirder on.

[01:11:38]

Know. I don't know what's weirder. The fact that Lauren made that joke. Laura. Excuse me. Made that joke. Like, that's a weird fucking joke.

[01:11:45]

Not really.

[01:11:45]

Or that Jeremy wasn't smart enough to know not to say it on camera in front of Ad's fiance.

[01:11:51]

If we've been known for a week and we're drunk and you said to me, go flick the beam, it's weird, but it's not like it's so much weirder to repeat it publicly.

[01:12:01]

No. By the way, I think. I disagree. I think Laura's weirder in this situation.

[01:12:05]

I think that they're both weird then. Yeah, sure, she's weird. But he did not need to. He sabotaged his own relationship. Like, they're done.

[01:12:13]

Yeah, but why did she say that?

[01:12:14]

I have no idea. Last couple.

[01:12:16]

Oh, Ben's rushing me out because he has a call. Last couple is, oh, ad and Clay.

[01:12:21]

Yes.

[01:12:21]

I love ad. She really grew on me in the pods. Clay, I can't get a read on because he seems to be growing up through this process, but then he'll say something really fucking weird, like, if you gain weight, I'm going to tell you to get in the gym. Yeah. That undoes all of the positive work he's done. Yeah.

[01:12:38]

As we watch, we're like, she's our girl. She's our girl. We'd be friends with her. She seems super cool. Big fan.

[01:12:45]

Except her eyelashes are bothering the fuck out of me. I need her to stop wearing eyelashes so big. Sorry. Continue.

[01:12:50]

And he seems like a cool guy, and then will make really, really outlandish comments, like, if you get fat, there's going to be a problem, and then he backtracks. But I'm going to be working there with you. And it's like, what if she doesn't want to be in there working with.

[01:13:04]

You in the process of trying to find a husband to get married and have kids with. Of course. A woman's concern is always like, oh, I need to find someone who loves me for me, because I will change. I'm going to have kids. I'm going to gain weight. I'm going to lose weight. My body's going to look different. So for him to unprompt say that, okay, that, to me, that's like the biggest red flag of all time. And any goodwill he earned with me is undone. Yeah.

[01:13:25]

But he's also actively learning on the show, and I think that this is definitely a very difficult thing for him to do.

[01:13:30]

He's actively learning on the show. He's, like, going through therapy on the show. It's weird.

[01:13:34]

I think he, at his core, is a nice guy. I think that he's definitely troubled in some of his thoughts.

[01:13:38]

He's, like, toxic alpha male.

[01:13:40]

Yeah, or he was. And maybe he can be curbed.

[01:13:43]

You're free to go. I know you're busy. I'm going to wrap up the show. I don't want to be rushed. Bye, ladies. Bye. Love you. Bye, ladies.

[01:13:51]

You are so dramatic. If you had just said the table normally. Oh, my God. If you had just said the table normally, you literally just acted like there was a serial killer in the room and caused that whole problem.

[01:14:07]

What's wrong with you? We have a walk off. We have a walk off. I cannot wait to watch that back Benz has kind of like a girly scream. Okay, so I'm going to wrap up the show. Any other thoughts on love is blind that I want to share? Oh, God. Okay, let me think. Any other thoughts? I want to share? I just want everyone to be really careful. I want to get in on the moment and share my thoughts on Chelsea and Jimmy and stuff. But I don't know. I feel, like, really sad and scared that I can only imagine if I was on this show and I got myself into this situation and the thing people are talking about is whether or not they find me attractive. I just feel like even if you're the most beautiful person in the world, nobody can handle that. It's really not a situation that a normal person should be equipped to go through. So I just feel like we need to send Chelsea love and we need to stop. We do. Okay. She said she looks like Megan. She said she looked like fox. Like. Okay. And I think I look like Angelina Jolie.

[01:15:04]

It's called having confidence. Fuck off. That's our show. You guys, thank you so much for listening to the testimony morning show. We live with the fastest stories about spider guys. I feel weird sitting here alone. Goodbye.
