This is a big episode.

[00:00:01]

This is huge.

[00:00:02]

This has never been done by any podcast ever.

[00:00:05]

Ever. Never been done before.

[00:00:07]

It's the first time you're seeing this anywhere, but...

[00:00:10]

I can't believe it's taken us five years.

[00:00:12]

To do this. Yeah. You guys know the show is called Zane and HeathUnfiltered, and for some reason, it's never been just Zane and Heath. It's always been Zane, Heath, and four other people. We bring the party. Exactly, and having Matt and Mariah is still like a lot of people. Having four people on a podcast is-It's a lot. -we do have some interesting things, especially since it's just the two of us. Yeah, we're going to get really into it. We don't have Matt and Mariah to just bug us to get under exactly just yappin' the whole time. We can really get to know each other.

[00:00:45]

On.

[00:00:45]

A deeper level.

[00:00:46]

This is going to be raw, real, authentic, unfiltered.

[00:00:51]

This episode is raw and real, exactly. Mariah is not here, unfortunately. But this is, for the first time, going to be raw, real, and authentic.

[00:00:57]

I'm ready. Okay. Should we.

[00:00:59]

Just jump into it? Let's jump into it. We got a new bruise. You know what that means? We're getting you a forage, baby.

[00:01:04]

It's Cometho baby. It's Cometho baby. Oh, my God. The intro song.

[00:01:08]

We do everything ourselves. There you go, baby. Happy New Year. Welcome back to Zane and HeathUnfiltered. Let's do it together, baby.

[00:01:24]

Welcome back to Zane and HeathUnfiltered.

[00:01:26]

Zane and HeathUnfiltered, baby. I'm Zane. I'm Heath. And we are Unfiltered. And it is the new year, everybody. Happy New Year, baby.

[00:01:33]

I hope everybody had a great holiday. What is it? Today is the first that we're.

[00:01:38]

Posting this on, right? No, no. I don't know actually.

[00:01:41]

What date this is. I think it ends up being actually the new year. Really? Yeah, I think next Tuesday.

[00:01:46]

Is-no way. I don't believe that. I think it's the first. It's the first.

[00:01:50]

Happy New Year, baby.

[00:01:52]

Legitimately, Happy New Year. All of our audio listeners, I bet you all are hung over at shit. You know you are. You know you are listening to this. If you're not hung over, then you're probably working out getting that New Year's resolution started.

[00:02:09]

Yeah. I got mine started six months ago, but I feel like if I didn't, I would have definitely gotten started today. I would have made an omission.

[00:02:17]

What's your resolution?

[00:02:20]

Genuinely, that I really want to just start. It's the 27th today, so I have a few days to think about this, but I really need to stop biting my nails.

[00:02:33]

-oh, it's a good one.

[00:02:34]

It's so bad. You guys don't see it on camera and I will never just get... I've posted it maybe once or twice in my life.

[00:02:41]

They're absolutely disgusting. I was.

[00:02:44]

About to say, Acinine. Is that a word? What's assinine? What's assinine mean?

[00:02:47]

Assinine, like it's crazy.

[00:02:48]

No, I meant more like disgusting. But no, it's crazy too. It's assinine. These nails, assinine. Just a new word out there. Yeah, they're really gross. That's one thing that I'm afraid of for my future girlfriend/wife. I don't want her to look at my fingernails and be so disgusted with me that she does not want to continue this relationship. That's one thing that I really.

[00:03:11]

Worry about. I think if she's going to break up with you because of your nails, then it's probably.

[00:03:14]

Not-no, no, no. No, no, it's not break up with me.

[00:03:17]

Or just not give you a.

[00:03:19]

Chance in the first day. No, I wouldn't be... That's not a shocker to me, though. I feel like when you see someone has really gross nails, you think, oh, they're a dirty person. Then from there you just assume that they're dirty in other places too, which I don't like...

[00:03:40]

This guy doesn't have self-control. Yeah, 100 %. I think it says this guy has a hard time focusing.

[00:03:47]

Not only that, those are very broad, but I got something very specific which I think you could really assume that I do. If I'm sitting there eating my fingernails, what else am I eating? You know what I mean? What am I putting my mouth on?

[00:04:00]

What are you putting your mouth on? -you know what I mean?

[00:04:01]

No, but your fingers are so dirty. Your hands are your hands? The second or third most dirty thing during the day because you're touching everything. You're touching the fossil, you're touching water. You're just touching rails.

[00:04:13]

You ever seen under a microscope of what the dirt under your fingernails looks like?

[00:04:17]

I don't. Imagine seeing on. Because your mouth is the dirtiest place.

[00:04:22]

On your body. It would make you not want to bite them anymore. It's actually disgusting. Like living things under.

[00:04:29]

Your fingernails. And if you took a microscope to your mouth, you would want your mouth shut for the rest of your life. Yeah, that's true. It'd be so disgusting. But I've tried different ways to stop. I've put that.

[00:04:42]

Gross shit on-The tasting stuff.

[00:04:44]

I don't like the taste of it. It doesn't work.

[00:04:46]

Why don't you just go old school? Just throw on muttons.

[00:04:49]

I tried that for half a day. It's impossible to get anything done.

[00:04:54]

It was like what I had to do for my transplant because I kept scratching in the night. I had to put socks over my hands because I scratched my head so hard I started bleeding everywhere.

[00:05:02]

Yeah, that's why they even allowed yourself to do that. You see, I just do the pat method.

[00:05:08]

Well, I was in the middle of the night. I didn't know I was doing it. I was sleeping.

[00:05:12]

Oh, while you're sleeping. So you can't help it.

[00:05:14]

Just digging.

[00:05:14]

My plugs out. Okay, so that makes sense. That's something you have to wear. But you're also sleeping, so you're not going to really even notice. I'm fully awake and conscious in doing this. I just need to figure out a way where I almost need to reward myself like a child to not bite my nails. For every millimeter my nail grows-There you go. -i buy myself something nice.

[00:05:36]

It turns into the opposite addiction you come out with, like footlong.

[00:05:41]

But there has to be... Look at it.

[00:05:45]

Oh, man.

[00:05:47]

Just tell me ways to make it better.

[00:05:48]

I would say you want to go low profile? -chop your hand off. -yeah, thimbles. -thimbles. Just five thimbles.

[00:05:55]

I bet you won't put your fingers in your mouth if you chop them all off.

[00:05:58]

I think just really focus.

[00:06:01]

Do you remember when I did attempt to stop biting it for a month or two? It was actually growing back. I was really excited about it. I was taking little update pictures every week because I wanted to do... Itry to.

[00:06:15]

Do - You wanted the before.

[00:06:15]

And after. Yeah. Do you ever screenshot different pictures and then you go back and forth really quick to see that? That's what I was doing with my nails and it was working. I was so excited. Then I just fell over the deep edge again. It's like a diet, right? Or the fitness transformation, you're starting to see results is really exciting and then you just stop. Since this is my second time with the transformation, I actually kept going this time and didn't quit. Maybe if I do it the second time, I might be a bit nail-biting.

[00:06:42]

Yeah, sometimes you got to give it a.

[00:06:44]

Couple of tries. Exactly. Because you quit once doesn't mean you're a failure. You just want to.

[00:06:48]

Try again. Never not. Don't quit.

[00:06:50]

This is such a positive episode already. I'm really excited about this one. Especially in the new year, people are going to be so motivated to start with whatever they want to get started on because of.

[00:06:58]

Listening cause. I believe in you.

[00:07:00]

Thank you. I appreciate that. Cheers to that. All right, so I'm going to stop nailbiting. Another thing that I really have to quit, I mean, you already know it. It's the vape. The vape is very, very, very bad. It's killing me. It's causing me a lot of problems.

[00:07:15]

It's giving you the black lung.

[00:07:16]

The black lung. I would love to see a fast back and forth, back before and after with my lungs. If you can see.

[00:07:23]

That inside of your body because of that, I feel like that's what.

[00:07:26]

You need. You know what's crazy? Everywhere in my body right now, I was like, what? They're having a great time, six months. I haven't put really alcohol in my body. Eating all this clean shit. Everybody in here is just woo! They're looking at the lungs. They're like, boy, what are you doing?

[00:07:44]

Come.

[00:07:44]

On. He'll get there. Because the blood is flowing everywhere except for the lungs.

[00:07:49]

Have you actually tried?

[00:07:52]

Genuinely put it down for, I may have put it down for a day. Maybe it was traveling, right?

[00:07:59]

All right, let me...

[00:08:00]

I couldn't smoke it on the plane, so it was just in my bag.

[00:08:04]

If you wake up in the middle of the night to go pee, are you on the way to the bathroom grabbing it to hit it a couple of times?

[00:08:11]

Keith, that's not even the problem. I wake up... Where is it? I wake up-In your hand? In my hand.

[00:08:18]

Where is it? So your body is vaping while you're sleeping?

[00:08:20]

Yeah, I wake up like this. There's no way. I swear it's in my hand when I wake up. This morning, my mom scared the shit out of me today. We were in a deep psychosis sleep. We were exhausted because we were traveling. Going back from Florida to here is the worst because of the time difference. You just get so tired. I was in a deep sleep for an hour and a half, and then I wake up to my mom's figure right above my bed. I'm like, What? My wife flies.

[00:08:57]

She woke me. You got.

[00:08:59]

Startled over there. Yeah, startled over there. She just like, it all launches, right? I'm like, Mom, what? She was sleeping next to me. She wakes up, too. It's not Danielle, by.

[00:09:13]

The way. Zane's sister is here.

[00:09:15]

My little sister is here. She's in the audience right now. People think me and- Everybody's like, I knew it. -people think me and Danielle are dating, which is... Anyways, yeah, launches out of my hand, and I'm like, Mom, what? And she goes, There's someone in the house. I'm like, Mom, the house makes noises. It's an empty house, right?

[00:09:33]

We're still filling it up. Boy, that's green light for me. Bulletproof vest on Night Vision.

[00:09:40]

You already hear the safe opening. The beep, beep, beep.

[00:09:46]

I have fingerprint, eye, retinal scanner or whatever.

[00:09:49]

Yeah, that's He'd's favorite words. Favorite words of the book is I think somebody's in the house. I keep telling her like, Mom, mom, I'm telling you it's a... And then... Then it kicks in, right? Right. What if someone's in the house? I'm like, God, what if someone's in the house? There's been intruders before. There's somebody that snuck into my house once and stole a fly zapper. I still.

[00:10:11]

Don't understand that.

[00:10:12]

Why wouldn't somebody be in the house right now? Maybe it just happened to be the time that my mom- You.

[00:10:17]

Just got back. Maybe they thought you were still out of town. Exactly.

[00:10:21]

I get out of my room.

[00:10:23]

What's your game plan? If there was an intruder, are you waking up? Are you grabbing something? Are you reaching like you have a bat? Do you have a candlestick?

[00:10:30]

Absolutely. I got up, grabbed my piece, I go to the staircase.

[00:10:36]

My.

[00:10:37]

Mom's like, Just listen. I'm not going downstairs yet. I don't want to be stupid. I'm not running right in the middle of the attack. You got.

[00:10:47]

To be.

[00:10:48]

Tactical about it. Exactly. I'm thinking men in Black. I'm thinking Call of Duty at this point. She's like, Listen. I'm like... Ice machine. Immedimately in my head, I was like, It's the air vent. I've heard this noise before. And then we hear it again and it sounds... It's not the same tempo. It's a different tempo. It wasn't this time. It was that. Okay. You know what I mean? And then I was like, Okay, Mom, that was a different tempo. Let's wait for it again. And we hear it again. And then it was clear to the fence. I'm like, Oh, my God, Mom. She's like, I'm so scared, honey. I'm going to go sleep on the couch. I'm like, That's fine. You can sleep on the couch. But there's nothing in the house. People were probably sitting there like, What was in the couch? I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry I left you hanging like that, but nobody was in the house. I don't even know where I was going with this. Where was I going with this story? I think I just want to show off that I have a piece, so don't come to my house.

[00:11:50]

We keep us safe in this house, especially when I got the family in town. I genuinely don't know where I was going with this. I think it's, oh, vaping. Yeah, and that's why, because I almost hit my mom in the face with it. Right. I need to quit vaping because I need to protect my family.

[00:12:08]

She could have lost an eye. Yeah. That's some wall of the story right there.

[00:12:11]

No, real talk though, vaping is just so bad and I just have to stop. That's all I have left right now. If I just quit that, I'm pretty healthy.

[00:12:23]

You'll be amazing.

[00:12:24]

I'll be incredible. I'll be at 100 % compared to what I was.

[00:12:29]

Seven months ago. I wish I could be like, This is the best I've ever felt. You know what I mean? Obviously, you're going to feel better.

[00:12:36]

Yeah, and you know what? I can't even tell people I'm healthy because that's just a lie.

[00:12:39]

Yeah.

[00:12:40]

I exercise every day. I eat really good now. I don't really put alcohol in my body.

[00:12:44]

I'm saying you're a smoker.

[00:12:45]

You're a smoker.

[00:12:46]

You have that label.

[00:12:48]

That's probably top two things you could put in your body. That's very, very bad for you. One of the two is smoking.

[00:12:56]

What's crazy to me is that the studies haven't even come out yet. I feel like in 30 years-I.

[00:13:01]

Don't need studies, Keith. Once you open... I don't know who it was, whoever opened that vape in front of me, what it looks like inside that vape, that was it. Oh, it's disgusting.

[00:13:09]

-that was it. When you see the filtered.

[00:13:12]

System-you don't need any studies. Any studies to tell you that shit is bad once you open up a vape. Guys, take your vape right now. -take your vape. -can I pop it? Yeah. Guys, you're going to freak out. You're going to freak out when you see how these vapes are made. Okay, I have this very pretty, like flume one that you'd get at a gas station. They make it pretty. Yeah, they make it tough. They don't want you to know. They don't want you to know. The person that showed me they opened it with a hammer.

[00:13:44]

It's tough to open. Yeah, that makes sense.

[00:13:46]

We have to show it.

[00:13:48]

Do you want me to break it open? Yeah. Do you have an extra one? Let's do it.

[00:13:53]

Break it. I don't need it. Let's do it. Just knowing right here I have 10 fresh ones in my bedroom waiting for me.

[00:13:58]

It's so funny because you can't get them out here anymore like the flavored ones. So he's got a lady on the load that he goes to that he buys Costco wholesale size.

[00:14:08]

I'm trying to be a better man.

[00:14:11]

All right, we're good. Are you ready? Oh, Zane.

[00:14:21]

This looks like it was made in a garage. Look at that. And you're just smoking.

[00:14:30]

Yeah, this is a child's high school science project.

[00:14:33]

Give me the...

[00:14:36]

Don't squeeze it.

[00:14:37]

You ready?

[00:14:39]

There it goes. Boom. What scares me about that stuff is the fact that normal cigarettes, things like that is like a dry smoke. Zane, that's wet into your lung. So you're breathing in that moisture.

[00:14:54]

Wow, that's disgusting. That maybe you want to smoke at least 15 percentplus. That's a start. I hope to get to 100 by January first.

[00:15:04]

I was really brave of you. I can't wait to tell you about my...

[00:15:08]

No, no, no, no. I just told you my New Year's resolution.

[00:15:11]

Oh, you want to hear my resolution.

[00:15:12]

Real quick? Yeah, why do I look like the one that needs the problems that I.

[00:15:16]

Need to fix? I haven't put too much thought into it yet, so this is going to be me just winging it on the spot of what I would like.

[00:15:22]

To change. Oh, you're just too perfect. I just have to... I can't think of anything that I could better myself. There's got to be.

[00:15:30]

I would like to get back into the shape that I was in at Zillow. Okay. I'd like to start doing more cardio again. Yeah. I realized how out of shape I was again.

[00:15:43]

When.

[00:15:44]

I was coming back to L. A. When I just had my flight here.

[00:15:47]

Really? I feel like you don't look out of shape. You don't work out a lot, but you definitely have... You're maintaining your eating, which is good.

[00:16:00]

I'm decent with eating. Obviously, I have bad days or whatever and things like that. I've been on a sweet kick since I've been in Tennessee. I've had, I think, cumulative probably 60...

[00:16:11]

Hundred?

[00:16:12]

Cookies.

[00:16:13]

60.

[00:16:14]

Cookies? At least. It's the holidays, man. At least. My mom's been baking fresh every single day.

[00:16:19]

There's a reason why she does it when.

[00:16:21]

You're-i'm not going to do that to my mom. I'm not going to do that. If she bakes fresh.

[00:16:26]

Cookies, just eat them. Don't put that on your mom.

[00:16:28]

No, because then she's going to.

[00:16:30]

Feel bad. Don't put that.

[00:16:31]

On your mom. I'm doing it for her.

[00:16:33]

No, I know she's watching this and now she's feeling like, shit, you just did that. You just did that to her. Mom, you're totally mad. No, she's making cookies because she knows you don't eat like that here.

[00:16:42]

Exactly. It's a treat. When I went to fly back to L. A, so there's no direct flights from where my parents live, so I have to do a commute, one stop and then go. It's stupid, by the way. You got to go out of the way to Charlotte and then from Charlotte, we're back here. But I had my first flight and I had about an hour-ish layover between that and then my flight to LA. We land early. I'm like, Oh, this is perfect. I'll get off, maybe get a little snack, kill some time. We sit on the runway for, I'm not joking, 45-plus minutes because none of the terminals are open.

[00:17:25]

Exactly. They probably weren't prepared for you to arrive 45 minutes early, right?

[00:17:29]

Well, we were like 20 minutes early, but we still sat there and just waited and waited. Then I'm looking at my phone and my next flight started boarding. As I'm still on the plane, I'm.

[00:17:43]

Like, Oh, this is bad. They don't care. They don't.

[00:17:45]

Care if you missed it. I have 30 minutes before my flight takes off. They're boarding. They're boarding. Dude, the reason I don't check bags is because I don't want to have to deal with checking it on, getting it afterwards, dealing with that shit. But I don't know why, I always get stuck with having to check a bag my carryon.

[00:18:04]

You had to do that again?

[00:18:05]

Dude, I'm going carryon only, so I don't have to do it. You keep it above whatever. I get up there, they give me a bag tag.

[00:18:13]

I'm like, Please. Are you getting their last?

[00:18:15]

It just depends on your boarding group.

[00:18:17]

Were you in the back of the plane?

[00:18:19]

Kind of like middle. Okay. But it's also a small plane. But this is new. I don't know what this is, but they gave me a valet bag tag. It goes under the plane, but it doesn't go to your next destination. You have to sit there in that tube and wait for somebody to go-I didn't even know that was a thing. I didn't either. You have to wait for them to go under the plane and start bringing the bags up to you in that little walkway when you get off the plane. Now my flight is taking off in 15 minutes and I'm sitting there waiting for them to bring my bag up. I'm at terminal E. I got to get to B in 15 minutes before this thing is taking off. Finally, they bring my bag up. I grab it and I'm not joking, Zane, full-blown sprint. Full, like charging through this. There's no like...

[00:19:06]

It's a holidays. You don't want to miss a flight.

[00:19:09]

It was insane. I'm running as fast as I possibly can, and I'm getting queasy because I'm pushing myself. Because you're out of shape. Yeah. I dead-ass think it was probably a mile, mile and a half I had to run. It was so far. It's embarrassingly fast how I'm running.

[00:19:28]

If somebody saw-It makes you look like that you don't have your shit together. It makes you look like you showed up late and now everyone's waiting on you.

[00:19:37]

You're running full sprint and people are looking. You're asking for all the attention. Dude, if I would have saw myself, I'd have been like, Jesus, not that serious. Exactly. You know what I mean?

[00:19:47]

I hated that.

[00:19:48]

I hated this feeling. I finally get to my gate. As I'm running up, I see the sign on the TV where it shows where you're going. It says closed. I run up to the lady. I'm like, Please don't tell me it's closed. She's like, Yeah, we just closed. There's a guy next to me that missed it too. He was like, Yeah, as of 30 seconds ago and gave the lady a look. I was like, Please, I'll do anything. I need to get on this flight right now. I have to get on this flight. Sorry, it's closed.

[00:20:18]

The plane is still there. You could see that you can clearly... It's not like the.

[00:20:23]

Plane has-Exactly. It's five minutes before takeoff time.

[00:20:25]

Oh, okay.

[00:20:27]

I'm like, Please, I cannot miss.

[00:20:30]

This flight. -well, did you tell the situation that it was a one stop?

[00:20:32]

I was like, We landed 45 minutes ago. I've been sitting on the plane waiting to get off. We finally just got let off and I just ran here. She's like, Nothing I could do. I'm like, You got to be kidding me. I'm sitting there and just as I'm about to walk away and call it because this is the last flight of the night. I would have to got in a hotel and.

[00:20:47]

Wait until the next.

[00:20:48]

Morning to fly. As I'm getting ready to turn around and walk away, her phone on her desk rings and she's like, Yeah. Okay. All right, hurry up. Get on now. I'm like, Oh, thank you so much. So I run onto the plane and then you're that guy that they've been... You're sitting on the plane like, Why are we not taking off? I was that guy that had to come walk on, but I got on the plane. So I was super excited. I'm dripping. I'm actually.

[00:21:15]

Dripping sweat. And those ACs aren't powerful enough in the plane.

[00:21:17]

But man, was it brutal? But I made it. I did it.

[00:21:21]

Did that guy next to you also make it?

[00:21:24]

That made me realize I was like, I need to get back in shape.

[00:21:26]

For that reason. Just to plan your day better.

[00:21:28]

You want to know it's really funny? What? Yeah. There was, oh, man. You know how people talk really loud to get attention? They don't need to be talking about what they're talking.

[00:21:39]

About in public. Yeah, I can name a few.

[00:21:41]

There's a couple, it's a little couple, and they have a baby, right?

[00:21:45]

It's a little couple? What do you mean? They're little people. Oh, little people, okay.

[00:21:48]

They are in the row in front of me and they're with their kid. The kid can't talk. It's maybe one and a half, two, something like that. She's talking to the kid. The kid can't talk back. She's just like, That's okay, because we have more money. I'm like, Now my ears are fricking. I'm just like.

[00:22:10]

Here we go. She just says one thing that makes no sense to a baby.

[00:22:14]

Right. You're like, Why are you.

[00:22:15]

Talking to a child about it? She's not talking to her husband at all?

[00:22:18]

No, to the child. She's like, That's right, baby, because we're going to be millionaires, baby. Right, baby? Isn't that right, baby? We're about to be millionaires. I'm like, What is going on? She's like, You did good on season two, right? We just got to hope they get us back for season three.

[00:22:34]

She's just wanting someone to ask her, What show.

[00:22:38]

Are you on? That's why you got to be good, baby. You got to be good on season three so we can get season three again because we're going to.

[00:22:44]

Be multi-millionaire. Season three?

[00:22:46]

What show she on? I don't know. I tried looking... Sorry about that. I tried looking it up and finding them, but she just on and on about, That's right, baby, because how much are we going to have? We're going to have millions of dollars.

[00:23:00]

I'm like-Well, I mean, there's not a lot of shows with little people on there, is there?

[00:23:02]

I think there's quite a few. I've already tried looking.

[00:23:06]

All that nosy around you couldn't just figure out.

[00:23:08]

I'm sure. I know.

[00:23:09]

Keith, and she wanted so bad for someone to ask her what show she was on. I know.

[00:23:13]

You should have just.

[00:23:14]

Asked her.

[00:23:14]

I didn't want to give it.

[00:23:15]

Imagine she was like, Stop being so nosy. Get out of my business. That would have pissed me off. That would have been.

[00:23:22]

My-it was just so funny how... The baby has no idea what you're talking about.

[00:23:28]

Yeah, but are you sure she wasn't like, you know how they talk to the babies, but they're trying to nag at the dad or something? They're using their baby to.

[00:23:37]

Talk to somebody else. They were fighting a little bit on the plane when they first.

[00:23:40]

Got on. Maybe she was doing a... You know when a mom or dad would talk to the babies and they would say something, for example, they'd be like, Well, that's because Daddy doesn't make enough money. It's directed towards the dad and wants the dad. You don't.

[00:23:55]

Know if-You're being really messy today. I guess you do take after your dad. Yeah, Yeah. Those type of...

[00:24:01]

I don't know. But you're saying that dad was nowhere...

[00:24:03]

No, he was just in the opposite seat on the other side. But it was just really funny. But then I ended up talking to her because she was waiting for her bag at the end. No, she was waiting for a stroller. So you.

[00:24:13]

Did end up talking.

[00:24:14]

To her. She was just really frustrated about having to wait too. Yeah. That she had to wait for a stroller.

[00:24:19]

Where?

[00:24:19]

Under the plane. They checked my.

[00:24:21]

Carry on. Okay, I thought this was while you guys were sitting on the flight, you guys were midair and just howling about her seasons. I was like, You had all the time in the world to-Season three, baby. Season three. We can figure.

[00:24:34]

This out. I know.

[00:24:35]

If Mariah was here, she would have been able to figure out in.

[00:24:37]

Five seconds. She would have been up.

[00:24:38]

On the TV right now. Yeah, she would have been fine.

[00:24:41]

But she ended up being a really nice lady from that brief conversation that.

[00:24:44]

I had. I thought you were about to say the show name. She ended up being a really nice lady from.

[00:24:49]

Little People's Small World.

[00:24:51]

I googled everything. What? Was that show?

[00:24:55]

Little.

[00:24:56]

People, Big World?

[00:24:56]

[00:26:13]

Getting to the airport, going to Florida, miserable. By the way, remember I showed you off a little. I was using your duffle bag that you just got me from the last episode.

[00:26:25]

I was -Everybody commented said you didn't like it.

[00:26:27]

Well, I can see why because the way I hated it, I hate watching myself, especially on the podcast, because it doesn't look like I was excited about the bag, but I really was. I was just confused in the beginning. Then I got really excited because I.

[00:26:41]

Actually needed the bag. He likes it. He sent.

[00:26:43]

Me pictures with it. Yeah, I do like it. I like it. It's just hard when you're on camera.

[00:26:48]

The.

[00:26:50]

Next day I was going to Florida, I packed up my bag. I was really excited to use it. I could fit so much in there. Let fit my laptop, everything pretty much that I needed to get. I didn't need to bring a carry-on bag and my backpack. I just brought that one bag and I was thrilled. I was like, Now this is what I'm going to be using. I'm on my way to the airport. I leave much earlier than I'm supposed to, and GPS says 40 minutes. 40 minutes is pretty good, especially during the holidays. You're like, Oh, okay, that's awesome.

[00:27:21]

It's like double the amount of time, but you're like, okay.

[00:27:23]

It's expected. As we're getting closer... This is what I hate about GPSes and maps on your phone. It never tells you the traffic inside the airport.

[00:27:36]

Oh, yeah, just.

[00:27:37]

To get to-Even when you put a terminal, it doesn't tell you the traffic in there. It just shows it green until you're right there in your Uber. Once you start getting closer and closer and you're maybe a mile away, then it just updates. Then it's like, okay, now it's an extra 35, 40 minutes. I was five minutes away.

[00:27:58]

Yeah, you got to wait until you hit in and out to see how bad it's going to be.

[00:28:03]

Fix it.

[00:28:03]

Yeah.

[00:28:05]

If there's actual traffic in there, put actual traffic in the map so I can leave two hours before if I need to. But anyways, we get there. We're about to get into the airport and it's just back to back traffic. It said it was going to be another 35, 40 minutes actually on the thing. I'm looking at traffic and it's just not moving. I had time to walk it, but we were still pretty far. I'm seeing other people trying to get out. I'm trying to get out. -getting out. I was like, fine. You know what? It's messed up. It was right before that ramp. You know that ramp? Yeah. It was right before the ramp. I was like, all right, you're good to go. I don't want to keep him stuck in.

[00:28:51]

This traffic with me. Yeah, people that are getting out in the middle up there, then that driver is stuck there for an hour.

[00:28:55]

That sucks. I didn't want to do that to him because he doesn't get paid during that trip. I was like, why don't you drop me off here and then you can escape from this? I get out and I'm starting to realize how heavy this bag is because everything is in this bag. It's too heavy to hold on one arm the whole time. I have that lanyard thing where you can put the bag like a purse. That shit was just hurting my shoulders.

[00:29:23]

I kept on-Did you have a.

[00:29:25]

Rollie bag too? No, I only had that bag. No like-No, that.

[00:29:29]

Was your.

[00:29:29]

Carryon bag? No, that was my bag. That was my carryon bag. Got it. And, bro, I had to walk, it was just a mile and a mile and a half to get to the terminal. And, bro, it was hurting so much. And I've never hated this bag.

[00:29:42]

More-that's.

[00:29:43]

Funny.

[00:29:44]

-than this moment. And you know it's funny? I specifically got you the ones without the rolling wheels because I was like, You'll.

[00:29:50]

Never use that. Oh, my God. That would have been perfect. Dude, I really needed the wheelies because of doing my shit. It builds character. I felt really good. I was like, Oh, I'm cool in this jacket. I'm not sweating. I was drenched by the time I got to the airport. I was so hot. I couldn't get any cooler than what I was before. I get on the plane and I'm drenched. Acs are blown, but it's just not cooling me off. I'm like, this. It was a red eye. Everything just started to suck very badly. Then I got there and that was fine. Then coming back with my mom and little sister was really bad.

[00:30:28]

You had turbulence too? My mind was absurd.

[00:30:31]

It was definitely the worst to date when it came to turbulence. Taking out that Cancun trip, there will never be anything worse than that Cancun trip. The Cancun trip, where it was so bad, we were going through a.

[00:30:45]

Tropical storm. Oh, yeah.

[00:30:46]

People were screaming, We're all going to die, and everyone's screaming. Nothing was worse than that. But this one was definitely right there next to that Cancun trip. Bro, it was rocking and it was rocking bad. People were starting to cry. There was a lady right next to me on the other side. She was just howling. She was just screaming. I didn't know if she was laughing because it almost it wasn't exactly the way I saw her right now, but she was like, it almost sounded like she was just.

[00:31:16]

Laughing nervously. Uncontrollable noises. Yeah.

[00:31:20]

I was like, Because it was so bad where it was funny because it was. It was just like.

[00:31:26]

Oh, this is like-It wasn't uncalled for.

[00:31:28]

Yeah. Not only that, it felt like there was nobody flying the plane. It was almost like the pilots disappeared or they got a heart attack, and now this plane is just going off. The lady, I look over and she's hysterically crying and it's just getting worse and worse. It just keeps getting worse. It gets to the point where the pilot just starts apologizing on the intercom. When he starts apologizing, that's when he knows it's too bad because there's been bad turbulence and he doesn't even call it out. He's calling it out now. That's how bad it is. Flight attendants, they're still serving. This lady, she is a rock star. She's sitting there serving the meals and she's bringing me my hot tea. I'm just like, I don't need it right now. There's no way I'm going to be able to drink this. I don't want her to get hurt or burnt or fall. I'm like, No worries. You don't need to bring me my tea. She's just like.

[00:32:20]

No, I got it. I'm picture like cat in the hat.

[00:32:24]

Bro, it was crazy. There are times where they have... They don't even do service when it's half of that. But this girl just wanted to-She was showing up. Yeah, she was not only showing up, but I think it was a good practice for her too in case of emergency. If there's ever a hostage situation, she needs to grab something for the terrorists. She wants to do it all. She wants to be able to do it any try to get on a tower, hurricane.

[00:32:48]

She's trying to get on a tower.

[00:32:49]

It's a good side. Yeah. I think she knew what she was doing, but she was amazing. As that's going on, my mom and little sister, they're four seats, four rows behind me. I'm like, Oh, my mom is probably freaking out because she's much worse than me when it comes to flying. I'm bad, but she's really bad. Immediately, as soon as there was a good 30 seconds of calm, which was rare, I get up and I run to my mom's seat and Madison's laughing.

[00:33:19]

With.

[00:33:19]

The bag? Yeah, Madison's laughing. I'm like, Oh, my mom is probably really bad right now. I look and she's literally in her seat like this.

[00:33:27]

In tears. I thought you were saying she had the mask. She pulled it down.

[00:33:32]

She looks at me, she's like, Honey, you need to get me a fucking drink right now. I go to the stewardess hall, I was like, Can you please get my crying mom a drink? She really needs it bad. She's really bad of the fly, especially with turbulence. She's like, Oh, is your mom the one that's crying right now? I was like.

[00:33:51]

No, it's another one.

[00:33:52]

I want to know so bad how the back of the plane was because the back of the plane is always the worst when it comes to turbulence. I bet it was so bad. Even the pilot on the intercom was like... A big apologies for the people on the last few rows. I'm sure it was very bad for you. I've never heard a pilot speak that much after a whole-Yeah. -a turbulent situation like that.

[00:34:17]

Because he was probably getting word that you got people in the back hysterically crying.

[00:34:21]

Yeah, because who knows how many people were crying in the back.

[00:34:27]

Of the plane. -in the poor people section.

[00:34:28]

-in the poor people section. But yeah, that was for sure an experience. I felt so bad because I was like, You guys should come. Come back with me to LA after Christmas. Yeah, it was just traumatic. Traumatic for all of us. I don't know why I wasn't freaking out. I was laughing the whole time.

[00:34:45]

Yeah, you got to make a lot of the situation.

[00:34:48]

No, I wasn't laughing because I was scared, but it was just, I think, comical that this was probably it.

[00:34:57]

Yeah, you came to grip.

[00:34:59]

This was probably it. Wow. Just right after the holidays, baby, we're going down.

[00:35:03]

I was going to the bathroom when turbulence hit on my flight here.

[00:35:06]

Yeah, we had turbulence.

[00:35:09]

Dude, I'm very germaphobic when traveling. I don't touch door handles. I'm the elbow guy.

[00:35:17]

Yeah, I'm the complete opposite.

[00:35:18]

It's gross. Especially in an airplane bathroom, I'm feet up for the toilet seat, feet for the flush, everything.

[00:35:26]

Yeah.

[00:35:27]

When I walk in, I do this. I go feet up and then I'll flush like that.

[00:35:31]

Seat down. How do you unlock the airplane?

[00:35:36]

The door?

[00:35:36]

Yeah.

[00:35:37]

Elbow. Then the little lever you got to slide elbow.

[00:35:40]

I hate that stuff. Why don't you just wash your hands after or do sanitizer in your seat?

[00:35:45]

I don't have sanitizer.

[00:35:46]

With me. Why do I feel like you don't believe in hand sanitizer? Do you believe that it actually.

[00:35:51]

Removes-i've never actually.

[00:35:51]

Thought about it. But you're the type of person that I feel like would not believe in sanitizer.

[00:35:56]

No, look into it.

[00:35:57]

I think you trust washing your hands with soap much more than just something in a model like that.

[00:36:03]

I never really thought about it. I do use sanitizer if it's around. I'll just be like get a quick little clean. But I was literally in the middle of going to the bathroom on this plane when we started hitting turbulence. I am bouncing up and down. I couldn't stop going, so I'm trying to aim and then I'm falling forward. I'm no handing this. I'm literally back and forth like this, trying not to touch the wall.

[00:36:26]

Oh, it's the worst because you have to put one hand on your page. Yeah, exactly. It's not going everywhere.

[00:36:31]

Right, dude, horrible. I was.

[00:36:35]

All over the place. I'm surprised. Usually they're pretty good at knowing when turbulence is about to hit and they'll tell everybody to take their C- No, it's very unexpected. -out of the blue. Were you flying Frontier or something?

[00:36:47]

American.

[00:36:48]

American.

[00:36:48]

I was in the back. We were hitting it bad. Oh, you.

[00:36:52]

Were in the back? Back, back.

[00:36:54]

On that flight, I was on the back, yeah.

[00:36:57]

It's like a roller coaster. You know the roller coasters? The back seats are the second best seats. It's fun, though.

[00:37:00]

-the second best seat. It's fun. But yeah, it was pretty insane. But we made it. Now I got to catch a flight in four hours to go back to Tennessee.

[00:37:10]

Yeah, guys, Heath just flew in last night from Chattanooga or... Yeah, you have a one stop, so you're flying from somewhere to get here. Less than 24 hours, he has to be back on a plane because he decided to bring Dini Wini.

[00:37:25]

With him. Yeah, I got to go back and.

[00:37:26]

Get Deanie. It's because of him, right?

[00:37:28]

Yeah, pretty much. My mom and dad are watching Deanie right now. Mariah is in Pennsylvania still. She's going to meet me back in Tennessee and we're going to fly back from Tennessee here with the cat and everything. It's just a lot. I didn't realize because he's very on edge and stuff when traveling. And you have to take them out. You got to hold them while you're doing the scanner and then you got your bags, you got this. Then I have my film cameras and you can't put the film through that. You have to hand those over and get the film hand checked.

[00:37:57]

It's like-Can you tell us the process of bringing an animal through an airport? I thought it was as simple as leaving that animal on the conveyor belt and letting them go through the TIAs. I thought.

[00:38:07]

Literally you just do it. I thought if it's in that size, you're good to go. We showed up with him as we were getting our boarding passes and I was like, Do I check in like an animal with you? Or how do I go about bringing my cat on?

[00:38:21]

Or you let him walk through the thing by himself. It turns and the cat.

[00:38:25]

Has to... He puts his hands up like this.

[00:38:29]

Oh, man. That would.

[00:38:30]

Be amazing. Feet on the yellow.

[00:38:32]

It just reminds me of Puss in Boots. Why did I imagine Puss in Boots?

[00:38:35]

But I thought it was going to be super easy. Then the lady's like, You need to call ahead of time if you're bringing a cat. I was like, What are you talking about? She's like, There's only so many that are allowed on the plane. You can't just show up and check them in.

[00:38:53]

Okay, so that was one thing I know for sure that I wouldn't have done was to just show up with a pet. I would 100 % call them something to let them know hey, what do I need to do to before getting to the airport with a pet?

[00:39:06]

I searched.

[00:39:07]

It on TikTok. I'm surprised you didn't.

[00:39:09]

Think of that. I searched it on TikTok and they said you just got to check them in.

[00:39:12]

We all get our information from that app. It's so embarrassing. Literally just typing in Google. But no, we'd rather do it on TikTok. Well, I mean, there's a reason why, right? Because there's somebody right there -.

[00:39:22]

Verbally.

[00:39:22]

Telling you -verbally telling you from an experience that they just experienced. And most likely just went to TikTok and just said it. And sometimes it is better. And I get why you did that.

[00:39:31]

But yeah, they didn't say on that video you need to call ahead. But apparently if they already had so many cats, I could have not been able to bring the cat.

[00:39:39]

And how many other cats did they have on this plot? I didn't see any other ones. Let's be real. Do they keep pets under.

[00:39:45]

The plane? No, you put it under your seat.

[00:39:47]

Then I don't see a lot then. I feel like I keep an eye out for people that are bringing pets.

[00:39:52]

To be honest, on my flight back here, I didn't even notice it, but the person next to me had a cat. All of a sudden I saw them bend down and grab their bag and go...

[00:39:59]

It's just that. Are the bags getting very discreet now?

[00:40:01]

Yeah, they're just small little carriers that you slide underneath the one in front of you. It's like you would never even know.

[00:40:08]

Okay.

[00:40:08]

But yeah, you do that and then they put a little bag tag on the pet carrier. Then when you go through to take the stuff out to go through TSA, you have to put the carrier on the conveyor belt and you have to walk the cat through and hold it.

[00:40:24]

Do you think anyone's ever been caught doing that? Like using their animals? Horrible, by the way. Just using their to bring in stuff. It's genius.

[00:40:35]

The cat shits itself while you're holding it. But yeah, so then you do that, it goes through, you get your bag back, and then you're good. But yeah, so it was just like a lot having to deal with the rolls of film, hand-checking where I was doing the cat. We just wanted to do it together again on the way back.

[00:40:55]

Are you bringing it to you next time?

[00:40:56]

Is that something you would do again? I still would much rather do this than put him up in a pet shelter.

[00:41:03]

You don't trust anybody out here to watch your cat?

[00:41:09]

Absolutely not. Really?

[00:41:10]

Do you genuinely not trust anybody?

[00:41:13]

There's.

[00:41:13]

Got to be a reason why. You don't think that someone will kill, not hurt him, but I don't think anybody I would forget to feed them or something because you're paying them for service.

[00:41:25]

It's not to forget to feed. You're saying friends-wise?

[00:41:28]

Friends or professional, like cat, professional people.

[00:41:32]

That like-The thing is I know somebody that had a dog that they put up in a shelter to go on vacation for a couple of days. Obviously, a dog is different, but one of the other dogs ate their dog and killed it. Oh, wow.

[00:41:47]

Okay, I feel.

[00:41:47]

Like that's a rare situation. They came back and went to go get their dog and they're like, Sorry, something happened where...

[00:41:53]

They just give them the other dog because the dog is inside the other dog. I feel like, especially for Dean, Deanie Weenie, I think.

[00:42:03]

The.

[00:42:03]

Best for him would be a private one, not somewhere where there's a ton of cats. But someone that takes care of maybe two or three and is in.

[00:42:15]

A-yeah, it's just like he's still super young and I just don't want him to get into things because then if he eats something that he's not supposed to, then we got to do another $4,000 surgery to cut it out of his stomach. Yeah. Then our friends, it's just... If a door is left open and he ran out, it's just a lot. You know what I mean?

[00:42:33]

Yeah, I guess.

[00:42:34]

But yeah, it was just I don't know. I didn't mind it.

[00:42:37]

And so the cat is with your mom right now? Yeah. Should just give him cigarettes and shit. Just second-hand smoke?

[00:42:44]

[00:44:44]

Okay, well, that's good. What did we do? We didn't do anything in Florida. Oh, man, this shit is getting boring. It's not boring. It's just becoming very uneventful. It's not feeling like Christmas anymore. Yeah. It's crazy because, I mean, we've talked about this before already, but just 10 years ago, Christmas really felt like Christmas. I was talking to my mom about this and she's like, Well, it's because you were younger. I was like, I don't know. You didn't feel like it was Christmas when we were younger. It really felt like Christmas. She's like, No, I think it's when you're getting older. We knew it felt like Christmas for you guys, but it didn't feel like Christmas for us. Okay, that makes sense. Like getting in the spirit of it. Maybe it is like kids that really just see it. But I don't know, sometimes when I look at, I feel like Mariah's family all really feel.

[00:45:40]

Christmasy even.

[00:45:41]

When they're older. I don't think it's an older thing.

[00:45:43]

I think it has to do with the size of your family because I know Christmas for me hasn't felt like Christmas because we used to have everybody over when I was a kid. It would be a huge party. Your cousins are there, your aunts, uncles, everybody.

[00:45:55]

Someone's always coming up with an idea to do something. All those ideas together or all those brains together, it's like coming up with different.

[00:46:03]

Christmas stuff. Every year has just been smaller and smaller and smaller.

[00:46:06]

We couldn't come home with Jack shit. We're all sitting there watching TV and we're like, We just don't know what to... Even for dinner, it was Christmas Day and we were like, Let's go out to dinner. Everything was closed. We genuinely just couldn't come up with anything to do or even leave the house, so we had to just stay in there. But it's just tough. It's tough with a small family. You're trying to come up with something Christmas-y to do and then you feel guilty. I think we all felt a little guilty.

[00:46:31]

In our own way. And then your parents feel bad because they still want it to be special for you.

[00:46:35]

Yeah, and don't get me wrong, I felt guilty too. I felt guilty that I can't come up with anything either. But it's hard. It's hard with a small family. You have the Christmas tree, you have the gifts, but then what?

[00:46:48]

Yeah, I think that's why Mariah, her family is 300 people that get to... You know what I mean?

[00:46:53]

Yeah, I envy that.

[00:46:55]

It's a lot. It's a lot going on.

[00:46:57]

It's a party. It's a little overwhelming, but it's fun. Yeah. It's never a dull moment.

[00:47:01]

It's intense.

[00:47:02]

Yeah.

[00:47:02]

Hers looks so funny this year. Did you see any.

[00:47:04]

Like that? Yeah, I saw the stories. Yeah, she was so funny. I was just flexing on all of us. She knew.

[00:47:09]

Her and Matt, they both got the big family gathering.

[00:47:12]

Yeah, why haven't us? What about our time to shine when it comes to the families?

[00:47:18]

We just have to have 10 kids each.

[00:47:19]

Yeah, maybe that's what it is. People that grew up with small families, they're just like, I want a lot of kids. That's how that generation happens. Then from there, it becomes really small. When you have that big generation with a lot of kids and cousins, all those cousins, if they don't have a ton of kids, then it starts to get small. It's really weird how that happens.

[00:47:43]

Have as many babies as you possibly can. Yeah. Or we're thinking about having 14.

[00:47:48]

How many would you.

[00:47:50]

Actually have? I think four would be nice.

[00:47:51]

I think four is a good number. I have a feeling Mariah is going to want eight.

[00:47:56]

That's a lot.

[00:47:57]

That's a lot.

[00:47:59]

Because if you think about it, that means if we start having kids when she's 31, you're popping babies at 40.

[00:48:08]

Yeah, 40 is the new 30 when it comes to popping out kids.

[00:48:12]

Yeah, not when it comes to their health. Like you.

[00:48:15]

Start running-I mean, after that baby comes out, you're good. But yeah, I know it's definitely... I remember my mom had... How old was mom when she had you guys? She wasn't 30. I think she was 40. She's 56, 55, 54. Once you get into the 50s, you're not supposed to really know their age.

[00:48:37]

She was 38.

[00:48:38]

She was 38?

[00:48:39]

You were this close.

[00:48:41]

To-i felt very shitty. That made me feel very shitty that I thought my mom was 40.

[00:48:48]

I mean, that's two years old. That's not bad. But yeah, it also becomes harder for the mother to have babies at that age.

[00:48:56]

For me, I really don't mind. I don't mind having kids when I'm that old. Is that weird?

[00:49:04]

Well, I've been thinking about this a lot recently just because obviously now we're engaged, we're thinking about the future and everything. I get, yeah, it depends on. I'm so jealous of the fact that my mom and my grandma are so close in age.

[00:49:28]

How old are they?

[00:49:29]

My mom is 63.

[00:49:33]

Your mom is 63?

[00:49:35]

Yeah.

[00:49:36]

She looks great for her age.

[00:49:37]

Thank you. I'll tell her that.

[00:49:39]

Yeah, I'll tell her that.

[00:49:40]

Then my grandma, I think, is 80. Yeah.

[00:49:46]

17 years. Yeah, that's not bad at all. That's really good. Yeah, that makes sense, I guess.

[00:49:51]

I think about when I'm 80 years old, you know what I mean?

[00:49:54]

And your kids are 63.

[00:49:57]

They would be 50?

[00:50:00]

That's just a longer life with your kids.

[00:50:04]

At the end of the day. I like the fact that I've had my grandparents for so long.

[00:50:10]

Yeah, when you think of it like that, you do want to be with your kids as long as you possibly can. Because once you have them and once they turn 15, 20 in your head and you're getting older, or if you have kids late and they're starting to hit their 20s and you're already really.

[00:50:25]

Old, that's scary. I want to play with them. I want to be able to throw the football around.

[00:50:29]

I don't want to be like -You want to get old with your kids in some way.

[00:50:34]

Yeah. It'd be nice to pop them out as quick as possible. We're probably going to try to just bang out a couple of sets of Irish twins.

[00:50:40]

Irish?

[00:50:41]

Who's Irish? Yeah, I just found out about it. I think it's the coolest thing.

[00:50:45]

You're half Irish?

[00:50:46]

No, it's just the term for it. Basically, if you have two kids in the same year, they're called Irish twins.

[00:50:55]

How do you do that?

[00:50:57]

If you get pregnant nine months later, do you.

[00:51:01]

Give birth. You'd have to.

[00:51:02]

Immediately do it. You have to immediately.

[00:51:04]

Do you think Mariah is going to like being pregnant?

[00:51:07]

I think she will.

[00:51:08]

Actually, yeah, I know she will. If that means that she gets the kids quicker, oh, yeah.

[00:51:13]

That's pretty crazy. You could have two kids born in the same year.

[00:51:15]

I think Mariah is going to hope to have twins and triplets. She can make more at.

[00:51:19]

One time. Honestly, that would be ideal.

[00:51:23]

It saves so much time. I think my mom, at first she was terrified that it was twins, but I think we had this discussion where she was like, Oh, that's great. We don't do it again. It's all happening at once.

[00:51:39]

I think about my brother. I feel bad for people that have twins that their finances aren't the best and they have a hard time affording different things. My brother and his wife are having a hard time with a baby. You know what I mean? Financially. It's very expensive. Yeah. Because they can't have another kid because they can't afford it. Yeah. But if they were in that boat and they had twins...

[00:52:10]

Yeah, that's.

[00:52:12]

Just getting done with that. It's not something that you're trying to do, but you could get stuck with twins and then you're like, What do I do? You know what I mean?

[00:52:19]

Is there some... What do you call it?

[00:52:24]

Pay it forward system with a bag.

[00:52:26]

Not a pay it forward, but more like... I wish there was some charity where it helps out people that could only afford one kid, but they ended up popping twins that don't want to give it up. Because that's tough. I wish there was some organization where.

[00:52:44]

They could-I mean, did we just come up with a charity?

[00:52:46]

That's a really good... It's a.

[00:52:48]

Cute charity. Yeah.

[00:52:51]

Because your situation with your brother, that sucks. Like having twins and you genuinely can't afford more than one kid. What the fuck do you do? Now you got to pick one? You got to pick your favorite?

[00:53:01]

Yeah. How would you even do it?

[00:53:03]

Or you just give them both... At the end of the day, everyone's just like, okay, just get another job like the rest of us, which makes sense. But having a kid is very expensive.

[00:53:11]

Because they both have to work, right? They both.

[00:53:14]

Work full-time. The kids, yeah.

[00:53:15]

Yeah, put them to work.

[00:53:16]

Put them to daycare.

[00:53:17]

If he was in an Asian country, he'd already be working right now at two.

[00:53:21]

Oh, yeah.

[00:53:22]

I.

[00:53:23]

Wish I was working as a kid. I'd be so good. Now imagine how awesome I'd be. Itell you if I was.

[00:53:29]

Working as a three-year-old.

[00:53:30]

I feel like I would have been such a good child labor worker. Oh, yeah. You know what I mean?

[00:53:36]

I wanted to work when I was five. I wanted to get a job. I didn't know how much it sucked.

[00:53:40]

I would be hustling for that five cents a day.

[00:53:43]

Yeah, mowing lawns and shit. But get me started early. But here is the thing. You need that reward. Yeah. You know what I mean? But what sucks is that kids were so stupid. We look at money and then we look at candy. We're like, Oh, candy. But imagine that...

[00:53:58]

I would have worked for candy.

[00:54:00]

Yeah, I mean... Or video games. But if I knew... But I was making minimum wage like the rest, but like everybody else as a kid. Working as a three-year-old and I was getting minimum wage and I started 18 years old. Forget about student loan. It just doesn't exist anymore because all that work that you've been doing.

[00:54:22]

Dude, if you start it at 18, you'd be like, Yeah, I got 12 years of a resume already.

[00:54:28]

Insane. But imagine the work history is just so funny. From dishwasher to dishwasher, bedmaker. But it's so specific. How many years they've been working each week?

[00:54:46]

Mining lithium.

[00:54:48]

Mining lithium, minting.

[00:54:52]

But yeah, I was saying my brother, because they both have to work full-time and it's $1,000 a month for daycare.

[00:54:59]

Wait, I feel like that's a pretty good price for how long the hours are.

[00:55:03]

It's a good price.

[00:55:04]

For what it is. Yeah, that's pretty good.

[00:55:06]

But that on top of rent, on top of everything, I feel really bad because there's so many people out there in similar situations that are... It's very expensive to live nowadays. Everything is just so... The housing market is just.

[00:55:24]

Really.

[00:55:24]

Hurting a lot of people. Really bad.

[00:55:27]

All right, so I have a name for our charity I'm going to come along with. What is it? Twin Gate.

[00:55:31]

Twin.

[00:55:31]

Gate? Twin Gate.

[00:55:33]

Seems a little-Yeah, it's bad. Epsteinie.

[00:55:36]

Oh, Twin Gate. Well, why did I say gate? Well, isn't gate something where it's like, Oh, this is an issue. Like- You.

[00:55:45]

Need to fix it. Like Ocean Gate?

[00:55:47]

Ocean Gate. Pizza Gate. Yeah, what's Ocean Gate? What's Ocean Gate?

[00:55:51]

That was the submarine that went down.

[00:55:54]

Yeah. There was no kid. There was no pedigy involved in that. Why is it called Ocean Gate? I think the word gate after is because it's a problem that everybody's talking about. Am I getting this wrong? I have no idea. What's the word gate mean after it? I don't know. Why is there the word gate after something that people are talking about, like something that this gate.

[00:56:17]

This gate? Like you open the flood gate.

[00:56:18]

Of what? Oh, is that what it is? The flood gate? I don't know. Am I making sense here?

[00:56:24]

Yeah, it sounds good.

[00:56:26]

Where did it start from, though? Did it start from the Epsene thing? I don't know. Involving kids. Maybe that's not the best. I'm going to change it. Let's think about it differently. I'm actually really bad with coming up with names for a company or something. So I'm going to end.

[00:56:42]

This conversation. We'll put some thought into it. Bill Gates has charities. It just has to do with Bill Gates.

[00:56:49]

Is that bad still? Is that iffy? Bill Gates? Is he a weirdo? Yeah. Bill Gates is a weirdo? Yeah. Is that publicly known?

[00:56:59]

I don'tI think it's pretty public.

[00:57:01]

What did people think he did again?

[00:57:03]

He was boys with Epi. And that's why his wife left him.

[00:57:11]

She talks about it. Is that something that everybody knows? Yeah. Is that something that you watch some stuff and you're like, Oh, that's.

[00:57:18]

Definitely a big action. I don't know. There's a whole rabbit hole of Bill Gates stuff and what his plan is for the future and what he's trying to do with the world.

[00:57:29]

This is such an eyeroll what I'm about to say, the Epstein's list or the list that they're about to come up. I've been seeing it again all over my TikTok about, Oh, the list is coming out. I feel like we go through this every year where it's this list that's about to come out. But every time I feel like whenever I see it on my page, it has no views or no likes, so it's hard to.

[00:57:54]

Believe it.

[00:57:55]

To me, it's just when I see something like that, it's just like, Oh, it's not true.

[00:57:57]

I just can't believe it's still not out yet.

[00:57:59]

But here's the thing. It's a thing. It's a thing. It's out there. It's out there. Jeffrey Epstein had an island where he brought little kids to and they were... It's a thing.

[00:58:11]

It's a thing.

[00:58:12]

It's just crazy that people don't talk about it more. Why is this such like this?

[00:58:17]

Yeah.

[00:58:19]

Why do people see it as right-winged? Why do I feel like people see it as a conspiracy or right-winged or something? The topic in general? Is this something that I feel like people are seeing as?

[00:58:31]

No, I think everybody's pretty much on board. The whole Epstein thing was pretty terrible and everybody wants it exposed.

[00:58:38]

Is it also a touchy subject because there's a lot of powerful people on that list?

[00:58:42]

That's why it's not coming out because those people are not letting it come out.

[00:58:45]

But I feel like a lot of people don't like to talk about it because of people that are connected with people on the list.

[00:58:51]

Yeah, maybe.

[00:58:52]

If there's somebody I knew on the list, I probably wouldn't be yapping all about it all over. I'd be scared. If I was linked.

[00:59:00]

To-if one of your boys?

[00:59:01]

Not one of my boys, but one of my boys is boys. His boys is on that list. I just think that's a big target on me. If that person were to see it.

[00:59:10]

And they go-You hung out with them. They're like.

[00:59:12]

Why is your boy saying this shit about me? Then I'm just like, next. I'm just dead. A heart attack. Then people put vaping to it. It would just be.

[00:59:22]

So unfair. Okay, so you think if you were taken out a hit was on you, they would try to cover it with vape?

[00:59:28]

Yeah, which is so unfair. Let me go out like that. And then everybody's obviously like, oh, have you seen Zane's drunk compilation? Obviously, he died of a heart at that. And then that's how I would perish. That's how people remember me. And then we'd have people like you and...

[00:59:45]

People like you and somebody else in our group that would just make a bunch of posts about me. He didn't tell me what to say. I was like, Shut up. Fuck him. Get over and move on. I was just calling you a conspiracy for the rest of your life. What, you're just trying to avenge? You're trying to avenge me?

[01:00:03]

I would. I know you would. I would fight for you.

[01:00:06]

I'll be on the sidelines. My ghost would be on the sidelines. I'd be spreading the truth. I'd be spreading the truth.

[01:00:10]

I.

[01:00:10]

Would-i hope you would do that.

[01:00:12]

For me. I would. Absolutely.

[01:00:13]

I'd be really bad at it, but.

[01:00:15]

I'll try. I would turn this entire.

[01:00:17]

Podcast into-Just pictures of me memorabilia everywhere.

[01:00:21]

Every single episode would be about how you didn't commit suicide.

[01:00:24]

Or die.

[01:00:25]

From.

[01:00:25]

It. I think it'd be a very interesting show to watch. People would keep up with it, but I don't know how long they would keep up with it. I think at some point people would be like, Heth needs to get some help. It would just get really sad at that point. I just wonder how long that would go.

[01:00:42]

Heth needs to let it go.

[01:00:43]

Heath needs to let it go.

[01:00:45]

Before we continue, we want to give a big thank you to our next sponsor of this podcast, Rocket Money.

[01:00:48]

Do you ever feel like money is just flying out of your account? . You have no idea where.

[01:00:53]

It's going? Every day.

[01:00:55]

Well, let me tell you, it's all those subscriptions. Think about it. Between streaming services, fitness apps, delivery services, parenting apps, it's endless. We're guilty of this, so I use Rocket Money to help me find out what subscriptions I'm actually spending money on.

[01:01:08]

If you don't know what Rocket Money is, Rocket Money is a personal financial app that helps you find and cancel your unwanted subscriptions, monitor your spending, and help you lower your bills.

[01:01:17]

Exactly. You can see all your subscriptions in one place, and if you see something that you don't want, you cancel it with a tap.

[01:01:23]

Rocket Money has over five million users and has helped its users on average save over $120 a year with over 500 million in canceled subscriptions.

[01:01:33]

Exactly. They'll even try to get you a refund for the last couple of months of wasted money and negotiate to lower your bills for you by up to 20 %. All you got to do is take a picture of your bill and Rocket Money takes care of the rest.

[01:01:43]

We actually talked about this last week. I just found out that I was paying $200 a year for a photo editing app and I had no idea. I bought it on a whim and I was like, I'm going to cancel this subscription. I just wanted to try it out. But I was like, You know what? Let me just do it. I forgot to do it. Then I just found out that I was paying $200 a year and I was able to cancel.

[01:02:04]

It with Rocket Money. There's a reason why these apps do that, man, because they know that's the easiest way to suck all that money out of your account without you even... What is that again? [01:02:31]

Thank you, Rocket Money, for sponsoring today's episode. We love you.

[01:02:36]

Oh, wow. You want to hop into our little questionnaire?

[01:02:39]

Oh, yeah. We want to get serious right now. Well, not serious, but I don't know, just get to know each other a little bit more. Okay. Because I'm curious of your thoughts. I want to just have a little bit more anxiety after this. Is it bad? I forgot to take my Lexapro. No, it's not bad. No, it's not bad at all.

[01:03:02]

I'm hyping it.

[01:03:03]

Up for some reason.

[01:03:04]

Zane called me earlier and he's like, Come up with hard, hitting questions.

[01:03:08]

Well, not hard, hitting questions.

[01:03:10]

I didn't have time to prep any because I got in and I was unpacking my bags and packing again to get ready to come over here because I'm leaving straight from the airport. So I don't have any questions pre-written to ask you. So I'm just going to go on the spot. I'm going to base it off yours. I'm going to try.

[01:03:25]

To-oh, fuck off. So whatever question I ask then you're going to go, Well, how do you feel about that about me? I'm not trying to be... That's not fair.

[01:03:31]

No, I'm going to gage where the conversation is going. I like that. I like that.

[01:03:34]

We'll just get into it. You go from there. You just cherry-pick and.

[01:03:37]

Then you hit it. Yeah. Do you have something in mind you want to kick it off with?

[01:03:40]

Yeah, I'm going to hit you with some questions that I've never asked you before about me. Oh, it's about...

[01:03:48]

Okay. Oh, no, they're not for you. It's not for you. I'm putting you on the spot about me.

[01:03:53]

Okay.

[01:03:54]

Very bad for my mental health, by the way.

[01:03:57]

Is this a hot seat?

[01:03:58]

Is it a hot seat? No, the hot seat is more.

[01:04:01]

Like-you grilling me about it.

[01:04:02]

-who is the last girl that you slept with?

[01:04:04]

Got it.

[01:04:05]

But it's like putting you on the spot for your own deeds. This is I'm putting you on the spot for my own deeds. Got it, okay. I don't know why I'm doing this myself.

[01:04:17]

Do you want me to hit you back with someone or you just want to.

[01:04:19]

Just-you can hit me back with someone. You can do.

[01:04:21]

Whatever you want. It sounds like you...

[01:04:25]

Instead of doing hot seat on you, I'm going to do a hot seat on me. Okay, got it. Here we go. Okay. Okay. What was your genuine first impression of me? Did you like me? Did you think I was weird? And did you feel bad for me?

[01:04:37]

Zane, is this a real question?

[01:04:39]

I'm just curious. Me, my mom, and my little sister, we all came up with the questions that I would just love to... Because what if you did just feel bad for me in that moment? Genuit? I would totally get it. Genuit? Yeah.

[01:04:52]

I hated your hair.

[01:04:55]

You didn't like the straightened hair?

[01:04:58]

I hated it. The swoop? What was it again?

[01:05:01]

Genuine thoughts. First impression to me. Did you like me? Do you think I was weird? Did you feel bad for me?

[01:05:07]

I thought you were really funny.

[01:05:09]

That's good.

[01:05:09]

Couldn't stand the skinny jeans with sandals.

[01:05:13]

That was my look, though. You know who I was trying to go for. Jeffie Wright.

[01:05:18]

I'm Jeffie Wright. But I thought you were really funny and I felt that competitive edge between us.

[01:05:27]

Competitive edge? Yeah. Never heard that one before. What's something you want to say to me that you think might hurt my feelings?

[01:05:38]

You're tacky and I hate you.

[01:05:40]

That question was a little too broad, but I'm.

[01:05:44]

Going to keep it there. Something that I want to say to you that I think would hurt.

[01:05:47]

Your feelings. Yeah. Maybe you think about it and you're just like, I'd rather just not say it to him. You know how sometimes you go about life. You just don't say something to somebody because you're just like... Yeah, you want the truth?

[01:05:56]

Okay, here we go. Fuck.

[01:05:57]

As soon as I came out of my mouth I was like, What am I doing?

[01:06:02]

I think you could work on responsibilities.

[01:06:07]

Fucking hate this. I'm choosing to look bad on my own show. Yeah, where are we starting? I don't know.

[01:06:15]

I'm just starting January.

[01:06:16]

first off ha-ha. Yeah, right? No, but this is great, right? January first, this is like it's time to change shit up. Time to be a better person. We all need to. I'm sure everybody listening is going to now look at their friend after hearing this and going, What's shitty about me? Stop it. That's good. I like that. Start taking more responsibility or start being more responsible for certain things?

[01:06:38]

Being more responsible.

[01:06:39]

Just do it.

[01:06:41]

Yeah.

[01:06:42]

Instead of expecting...

[01:06:45]

Shit to happen.

[01:06:46]

Shit to happen. Okay. All right. You didn't need to say exactly, but I feel like I know what you're talking about. Okay. That's good. We're going to fight after this.

[01:06:59]

Yeah, we're.

[01:06:59]

Going to have a long talk. So defensive? Gun to our head.

[01:07:04]

Yes, I'd pull.

[01:07:04]

The trick. Me and Mariah, there's a gun to our head. Who are you saving?

[01:07:08]

Mariah, is that even a real question?

[01:07:11]

Good answer.

[01:07:12]

Oh, I have a question. I keep seeing people talk about this on TikTok. I'm so curious what everybody's answer is. Yeah. What's the order? Okay. Wife, your daughter, or your mom? For what? Just order. Life or death, who are you saving? Most important, just whatever extreme, what's the order?

[01:07:39]

That's really tough.

[01:07:41]

Let's do this. Everybody's going to die. You can only save one. Or just like, Yeah, just give me what's the order?

[01:07:49]

How old is the daughter?

[01:07:50]

It doesn't matter.

[01:07:52]

You want to hear something messed up? Okay, five.

[01:07:57]

You're like, If she's 20-.

[01:07:59]

Wait, do it.

[01:08:00]

Okay. Because I have my order, but it's not what people think. I see girls commenting and they're saying not the order that I.

[01:08:07]

Would think. I can't wait to hear your order, and I'll tell you my order. Okay. Me and my wife are doing great, right? Yeah. We're all doing good.

[01:08:15]

Yeah, everybody's got an amazing relationship.

[01:08:17]

What a horrible thing I just asked. How are we all doing?

[01:08:20]

We're all doing good, right?

[01:08:21]

Am I on the brink of a divorce? We're all doing good. Okay. That's the thing. If you're on the brink of a divorce, that changes shit up.

[01:08:26]

Yeah. Okay. It's a very happy, loving family. Okay.

[01:08:29]

Okay. My wife, my kid, my mom. Sorry, mom. Mom, it's a very rare situation. I know she's in a lot of this.

[01:08:43]

Just tears as soon.

[01:08:44]

As-yeah, right? My mom would be last because that's what my mom would want. She would be so upset with me if I didn't do it that way. The reason why my wife first than my kid because you could always make another one.

[01:08:58]

Oh, Yeah.

[01:09:03]

Interesting. Look, it's a bad situation, right? No, it's.

[01:09:06]

Crazy because there's so many different answers. A lot of people were saying mom first, and obviously, I love my mom to death.

[01:09:15]

That's why I asked how old is the kid? Because if it was a brand new infant, then it's like you don't have, there's.

[01:09:22]

Not-you don't even like the thing yet.

[01:09:23]

It's a.

[01:09:25]

Difficult situation. I just found out my brother didn't like his kid until just recently.

[01:09:30]

How old is the kid? Eight. Just turned two. Yeah, it's the terrible ones and terrible twos. I get it. Yeah. That sounded.

[01:09:40]

Really.

[01:09:41]

Bad. He loved it. No, it's really bad. It's really bad. Having to make that decision on the spot is-It's tough.

[01:09:47]

-i think that would be the order. I think that order makes the most sense to me.

[01:09:52]

Okay.

[01:09:53]

What's your order?

[01:09:54]

Obviously, I don't have children yet, so I don't know. But in my head, I go child, wife, mom.

[01:10:05]

I think that would have been my second one. Because in the moment, you're not going to let your child go. I feel like a lot of people, even me saying wife, kid, but I bet you if you put me right there and I had to make a decision, there is a good chance that it might just hit me and I'd have to save my kid.

[01:10:32]

But I also look at just anything like that child has... If it was my kid or somebody else's kid, the child has more life to live. I would always go for somebody that's a younger age. Yeah. If there was a car that was drowning in a lake and there was a child and an adult, you would save the child if you could only pick one, regardless.

[01:10:52]

But the adult is Jennifer Lopez.

[01:10:54]

From the block?

[01:10:55]

From the block.

[01:10:57]

Mariah would want me.

[01:10:58]

To go for it. I'm pregnant.

[01:11:00]

Save both at the same time.

[01:11:02]

My kid could be a serial killer, right? Right. I'm looking at my kid extra hard at this moment.

[01:11:08]

Because.

[01:11:09]

I got to pick. I'm like, Is my kid going to be a little shit? A little spoiled brat?

[01:11:14]

Right. If he's an honor roll student or if he's.

[01:11:18]

Got like-No, to me, honor roll, I don't care about honor roll. I think just as long as they're a kind, I think that they're going to be a good person. Can you see that when they're five?

[01:11:29]

Yeah, I think they got some personality.

[01:11:31]

I think every time there is a serial killer or somebody really bad, I think parents were able to see it when they were five.

[01:11:39]

There's got to be signs.

[01:11:40]

There has to be signs. I don't think parents want to admit it.

[01:11:43]

I feel bad saying this, but I guess that's why my cousin is somewhere.

[01:11:48]

I'm sorry.

[01:11:49]

I told you about this.

[01:11:50]

No.

[01:11:51]

My cousin.

[01:11:52]

That tried to... Is a murderer.

[01:11:54]

That tried to kill the other cousins.

[01:11:56]

Wait, how old was your cousin?

[01:11:59]

I think five to eight maybe.

[01:12:03]

Actually.

[01:12:05]

Like murder? Yeah, in the middle of the night, he would go grab knives and try to stab them.

[01:12:08]

Holy shit. I did not.

[01:12:09]

Know that. Yeah, I don't know if he has schizophrenia or something. It's like a taboo topic. Nobody in the family really talks about it.

[01:12:20]

I know because.

[01:12:21]

It's sad, too. It sucks. Yeah, I don't know for sure where he is.

[01:12:25]

How old is his cousin now?

[01:12:27]

Maybe 19, 20 now, I don't think so. But yeah, we don't really talk about it. Nobody really knows. But he was a very violent child that had some mental disorders. That's so sad. And kept trying to attack.

[01:12:46]

As a parent, when you have a kid like that, all you have to all you're thinking about is, What was in my body that did this? You know what I mean?

[01:12:56]

How many little sperm in you do you think are like serial killer genes?

[01:13:02]

It's got to be like that, right?

[01:13:04]

That's how it works. That's how it works. Then one of them in there has got to be the next Justin Bieber.

[01:13:09]

Is it a different color? Is it tinted a little bit? If you put all those eggs under a microscope, when you look at it, you're like, Oh, this one is up to no good.

[01:13:19]

What is it? It's got to be something.

[01:13:22]

Another charity. Saving Sperms or-.

[01:13:27]

Very good.

[01:13:29]

-we take all the sperm, we put it in the facility and we get microscope and we have people look at each one and any.

[01:13:37]

-psychiatric spermiology.

[01:13:39]

Do you feel like you're learning as you're watching the podcast as a viewer, Madison?

[01:13:44]

What have you gained from this episode?

[01:13:46]

Have you lost brain cells? Good. -mission accomplished. And that's the show.

[01:13:50]

All right, hit me with another hard hitter.

[01:13:52]

If you were a girl and you were dating me, what is one thing you think we would have a really hard time with?

[01:13:59]

Communication. Okay. A library. He didn't know how to communicate in that moment.

[01:14:08]

Do you think this is pertaining to issues I have already, or you think I just don't care for communication.

[01:14:17]

I think... Now this is me as a friend to you.

[01:14:20]

Fuck off.

[01:14:22]

You think people know what you're thinking. Does that make sense?

[01:14:27]

Yeah, that's my middle name right there.

[01:14:29]

So you think people can read your mind?

[01:14:32]

No, I'm shocked because I've known this. I was way too afraid to admit it. Really? It was nice to hear it coming out of someone else's mouth. I've never had anybody tell me that. That was just like a train hit me.

[01:14:48]

You'll come at me and you'll say something.

[01:14:51]

I'll get very annoyed that you didn't read my mind before.

[01:14:58]

I have no idea what you're.

[01:14:59]

Talking about. It's crazy that I just go along with that. Yeah.

[01:15:02]

You'd come up and just be like, they were green. I'd be like, what was green? And then you'd be like, the car.

[01:15:11]

I'm like, oh, you didn't.

[01:15:13]

Say that. Yeah, that'ssense. Yeah, and you did it, that was very surface level. But there will be times where I'm just annoyed that somebody's not doing it the way that I would do it.

[01:15:27]

That's another thing. Yeah.

[01:15:28]

How the hell are you supposed to.

[01:15:30]

Know how I want to do it? You would be upset if, say, you wanted something in a specific order in the house, right? Yeah. You wouldn't tell them to put it in that order. I would just expect them. You would just expect it, and they don't know that you would want that. They would do it a different way and you'd be like.

[01:15:52]

Why aren't they-Yeah, very poor communication. Got it. Next question. That's really good. That's a perfect example, by the way. You assign me with a serious task that I need to get it done. What is that one thing you would least trust me to do?

[01:16:09]

What's a responsibility that I don't think you can hold up on?

[01:16:12]

I guess we already went over this, right?

[01:16:14]

I would just say anything in a time.

[01:16:16]

Anything that has to.

[01:16:18]

Do with moving. Anything that has a deadline.

[01:16:20]

Okay, yeah, just very last minute. Me not having my suit ready for Matt's wedding. Yeah. For Matt's wedding.

[01:16:28]

But I also think you're a type of person that strives under pressure. You won't get something done unless it's do or die. Does that make sense? You need the urgency and the stress of it all to be able to execute.

[01:16:42]

That's true.

[01:16:43]

I think my man is trying to settle down here. I think he's trying to prime and prep for a relationship. Yeah, no.

[01:16:50]

It sounds like it. Yeah, I just want the ladies to listen to this and then comment below. I just want to read a ton of shit about me that I probably probably not going to want to see.

[01:17:01]

I think you talk before thinking about what you're saying.

[01:17:03]

100 %.

[01:17:04]

I think you're excited to give something in a conversation. You know what I mean? You'll just start saying things. But I think if you took your time.

[01:17:14]

But for some reason, when I do take my time and it comes out of my mouth, it doesn't make sense even more. That's why I feel like I need to rush it out of my brain because it makes more sense than when I do sit there and think about it.

[01:17:27]

I think you know what you want to say? Yeah. But same thing with Mariah. Her mind is so far ahead of her words that her mouth is trying to catch up with her thoughts because the thought is going on to the next thing. So she's just trying to play catch up. I think you guys both have that. But it's.

[01:17:47]

Not bad. It's amazing. I love it.

[01:17:49]

I deal with it every day. I'm trying to slow down. I have a piece of advice.

[01:17:54]

That wasn't one of the questions. I'm good. Thank you.

[01:17:57]

This is about finding love, right?

[01:17:58]

Oh, that's good.

[01:17:59]

This is about finding love? Yeah. Okay. You don't initiate anything.

[01:18:04]

You.

[01:18:05]

Expect things to just happen and present themselves without you putting any effort into it. I think you need to start trying more. The way you look at relationships, you need somebody to meet you at a bar and just be like, You want to have a drink? Let's have a drink. Okay, tomorrow I'll see you in the morning. You're my boyfriend. We're dating now. Does that make sense? You're not going to spend the time to go on date after date after date and get to know somebody and then let a relationship build. You don't put the time in to see if it would go somewhere. Yeah. Your other relationship, it just was like, Okay, we're boyfriend-girlfriend. I don't know how this just happened. I just met you, but we're doing this now.

[01:18:46]

I'm a spontaneous person.

[01:18:47]

I love it. But that's what I mean. Right now it's either somebody's going to be like, hey, I'm seeing you tomorrow, you're my boyfriend, or you have to start trying to...

[01:18:55]

Yeah, I know. I see it like a movie, like a romcom, just quick. It's easy. It's fun. Yeah, I know, but you're absolutely right, though. It's work.

[01:19:05]

Yeah.

[01:19:06]

Especially for a serious one, it's work. You have to treat it like a... It's good for it to be natural, but you have to... It's also precious at the same time. You have to go on dates, feel it out, vibe it out, and then if it.

[01:19:20]

Happens, it happens. Now let me ask you some questions. Yeah. What's the most dates you've been on with a person that didn't work out? Was there a girl that you went five dates with and you're like, This just isn't for me, or since your last relationship?

[01:19:35]

I'm pretty good or I know after one. Okay. One date is a long time. -you've never been onIt'll be through a dinner, right? We'll go out forthere. I'm sitting there for a good, we're sitting there for a good two, three hours. You get to know a lot about a person in two, three hours, especially just the way they are, what they're talking about. I think it's.

[01:19:54]

Easy for me to -Has there been anybody that you went on a second date with?

[01:19:58]

No.

[01:19:58]

Wow.

[01:19:59]

I'm not dating a lot right now either just because I feel like I'm just so focused on everything else.

[01:20:06]

Yeah.

[01:20:07]

I feel like my relationship right now is work. Just this podcast, you. Just everything work-wise. I see that as a relationship in my head. I'm just like, I can do this, this, and this to make sure that this relationship is doing better, which is unhealthy, but I also don't mind it. That's why I love... To me, work is so important and anything relationship-wise is second. But that's why I want the relationship to come so left field.

[01:20:41]

Because.

[01:20:45]

My focus right now is work.

[01:20:46]

I feel very lucky and grateful that I work with Mariah.

[01:20:53]

I have.

[01:20:54]

Her there to help me with work, but also we have our relationship together and it's like we're pushing towards the same goal. I don't know, I really like the aspect of a relationship where the couple works together.

[01:21:09]

I.

[01:21:09]

Love the fact that we wake up and we attack the day together as a team.

[01:21:16]

It sounds honestly just more fun.

[01:21:18]

I think that's why so many people find relationships in the workplace. A lot of people start dating coworkers because you're around them so much. You know what I mean?

[01:21:30]

You're with them a third of your day.

[01:21:32]

Yeah. You get to see how they problem solve and you get to see how you work together with them. I'm very.

[01:21:39]

Lucky that-I guess it makes sense that you want to be with somebody that can problem solve just like you do.

[01:21:48]

Somebody that understands your scheduling, the way you can manage your time. I think you would have a better chance of relationship success if they did something similar. Yeah, it.

[01:22:00]

Just makes sense. I feel like it flows better, your days are better. You are able to attack the day to the other.

[01:22:07]

Any influencers you are into?

[01:22:09]

No.

[01:22:10]

Nobody's catching your eye?

[01:22:11]

No, not in the influencer world. I also don't watch influencers, so it's really hard to... I also haven't left my house in six months, so that probably doesn't help a lot.

[01:22:22]

Any fitness gurus?

[01:22:24]

I need to start watching more gym content because I feel like I don't watch any.

[01:22:32]

Yeah.

[01:22:33]

Yeah, I think once I'm done, I'll have a lot more free time. I've been so focused, it's crazy with this whole transformation in general. Yeah. To me, just saying no to everything.

[01:22:46]

Has made this-It's empowering.

[01:22:48]

Yeah, has just made this a lot, I wouldn't say a lot easier. It's made it much more graspable. Just saying no to everything, and now I know that I can finish it. You just have to say no to everything. Not being able to go out with my friends for dinners or part... It sucks and you're going to want to go, even if you're not getting wild or getting crazy. I mean, if you don't drink or do anything like that, that helps a lot.

[01:23:20]

It was very hard in the beginning for me to... I stopped completely going out of my house and doing anything for the first few months while I was going sober. Yeah, because I couldn't handle being around other people drinking. I would be crawling in my skin because I needed to have a drink and I wasn't able to handle it. It just looks.

[01:23:37]

Like you're just having so much fun. I felt sick.

[01:23:40]

I was like, I need to drink with these people right now. I am not myself. It was probably like that for five, six months. Then now I don't even think about it. If I go out or we go to a wedding or we go to an event or something, it doesn't even cross my mind.

[01:23:58]

I have a question for you because I feel like I've been experiencing this a lot, and obviously it's just our own brains. But when you go out with other drunk people, do you start to feel like they're all upset with you for not drinking with them? Absolutely. But it's not true, though. But why do we feel like that's what happens every time we go out and you're sober but everybody else is drinking? Because I know when I'm drunk and I see a sober person, the last thing I'm thinking is, What are you doing here? Or, Why aren't you drinking? You maybe ask once and once they say no, you just like.

[01:24:35]

-that's Ben Marie's life for the past six years. You know what I mean? Everybody would just be like, Lightnav, have a drink. God. It was just like once you hear that over and over.

[01:24:46]

You're like okay. But it could be a mixture of... Obviously, being around a bunch of drunk people when you're sober, it gets annoying. Your face probably is not going to look the most excited. When a drunk person sees that immediately, they're like, they're not very happy with me. I'm going to leave them alone. Then maybe that miscommunication or that-I.

[01:25:06]

Think there's different layers. I know what you're saying, but I think there's different layers to it. I think there's a subconscious thought process that happens when you're drinking and you see somebody else that's not drinking out and they're having a good time, there's a little bit of maybe jealousy. You would never in your head be like, Oh, I'm jealous. They're having a good time. But it would be the fact that I'm drunk right now. I needed to get drunk to be having a good time and enjoy myself. They don't have to.

[01:25:42]

I could never get jealous of somebody sober, having a good time. Honestly, that's great.

[01:25:47]

I would feel like that though. Oh, you would feel that. I think there's that thought process that happens. I would look at other people that would be able to go out and have a good... I need to have a drink right now because I'm not having a good time. I needed to let go and relax and lighten up and have a good time.

[01:26:08]

Interesting.

[01:26:09]

Food for thought.

[01:26:09]

And that's why I quit drinking. No, I'll never quit. I honestly can't wait to drink New Year's... It's fun having a goal to drink or planning it out because I never planned it out. I woke up. I'm like, I'm going to drink in an hour. But now I feel like I would never do that now. I don't think I could ever do that again. Even in the beginning or before the transformation, I was planning it out pretty often.

[01:26:41]

Oh, the best is when you just start drinking and it's not a plan.

[01:26:44]

Oh, my best days. My best days. But that type of life, it leads you to... You just stop everything. Yeah. That's the life you choose. It's just like, oh, if I'm going to drink every day, I might as well just be eating like shit too. Back to where you started. But I really don't want to do that. But now that I have the control, the self-control for literally anything except for my chocolate chip cookies. But I still will have self-control. I know even when I take a bite at a fucking cookie and I eat it, I feel like I just gained 30 pounds.

[01:27:19]

I think because I did the same transformation thing, it changed me for good, if that makes sense. It taught me that I could be that person and be disciplined and have the self-control. Because before that, I didn't think it was me. I didn't think I could do it. Then when I did it, you now know that you can do these things. I don't think you'll ever go back to being out of control.

[01:27:45]

Yeah, I really don't. I can't. It would be really tough for me to get back there. If I ever get back there, just know it was really hard to get there. That means shit's going really bad. That means shit's downhill and.

[01:27:59]

You're not.

[01:28:00]

Doing good. You should sit me down and be like, Zane, what's going on? Because I'm making up for something, for sure.

[01:28:06]

So just intervene.

[01:28:07]

Watch for those signs.

[01:28:09]

All right, you want to jump into the Unwind real quick?

[01:28:10]

Before we go to the Unwind, I have a present for you.

[01:28:13]

What?

[01:28:13]

Your gift came. It just hit me. I'll be right back.

[01:28:19]

Should I close my eyes? Absolutely. I'm ready. Fuck. I'm ready. It sounds big.

[01:28:39]

Oh, it is. So I know you recently had to give this up. It's very sad because I know you really, really enjoyed this thing. So I decided to bring it back in a scale where it's non-expensive, doable. And I feel like you're going to keep it around for a while. You could also just once you're done with it, maybe you could hang it up on a shelf, let your kids play with it. I don't know. In that case, open your eyes.

[01:29:14]

Oh, yeah. It's RC?

[01:29:18]

I saw it on TikTok. I saw somebody playing with it. I was like, What is that? It's so detailed. It's not even funny. Wait, it looks like a real truck. It's crazy. But I saw it firsthand being played with.

[01:29:30]

This is.

[01:29:31]

Really cool. And it has your name all over it. Dude, the details. Yeah, dude, look at that. Are you kidding me? Just watching you take this thing apart. Dude, you could practice. Do practice on this car before you do the deed on your real cars.

[01:29:50]

Look at the suspension on this thing.

[01:29:52]

Oh, audio listeners. This is a... What do you even call? Like a toy car? It's not a toy car. To me, it's like a...

[01:29:59]

It's an RC car for offroading.

[01:30:04]

They didn't have the brand truck that you had, but it was pretty damn close. It looks just like the truck you had.

[01:30:12]

No, that's fine. This is a taco baby. This is really cool. Fun, right? I love this. I've seen actually people build set ups in their house. They put ramps and shit around the kitchen and you can.

[01:30:26]

Drive it off road. Imagine putting Dean in the trunk of that. You have a lot of fun with it.

[01:30:31]

Actually, I love this.

[01:30:32]

Thank you. Dress up Dean as a, I don't know, like a pilot. This is really cool. I can't wait for you to set this thing up.

[01:30:42]

Thank you. No, I genuinely really like this. This is cool. Thank you.

[01:30:46]

That's it. But yeah, guys, it's the new year, 2024.

[01:30:54]

Yep. Eew, 2024. That's so weird.

[01:30:57]

Just remember, sometimes you lose things, but then they come back.

[01:31:01]

That's right.

[01:31:02]

-try to come up with something deep.

[01:31:05]

Sometimes you have to let go and let God.

[01:31:08]

-yeah. Sometimes quitting is the best thing you can do.

[01:31:14]

If you quit, that just allows you to start something new. That was good.

[01:31:20]

That's what I meant to say. -i just came up with that. -i just came up with that.

[01:31:22]

Sometimes saying goodbye allows you to say hello to somebody else. Wow.

[01:31:31]

Did that have to do with the mother-daughter- I.

[01:31:33]

Don't know. -wife? Okay. We could tie it into it.
