When a meeting is transcribed, HappyScribe automatically matches participants to HubSpot contacts by email, enriches the record with company data, and logs the transcript as an engagement. How it works

Connect your HubSpot account and HappyScribe begins syncing meeting data automatically. After each transcribed meeting, the integration looks up participants by email in your CRM and matches them to existing HubSpot contacts. Meeting notes, AI summaries, and deep links back to HappyScribe are logged as CRM engagements. Deduplication using iCal UIDs ensures the same meeting is never synced twice, even if you re-process the recording. The integration supports both US and EU HubSpot regions.

CRM enrichment and deduplication

The integration uses iCal UIDs for deduplication, meaning each calendar event is uniquely identified. If you re-transcribe a meeting or process the same recording twice, the existing HubSpot engagement gets updated rather than duplicated. Contact matching works across your entire CRM — when a meeting participant's email matches a HubSpot contact, the engagement is automatically associated with that contact and their company. The result is a complete, clean activity timeline in your CRM with zero manual data entry.
