Praise the Lord, everyone, today I want to bring to a very vital and important teaching. I want to be able to operate through the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ and set the captive free, so I'm going to allow the spirit. To work through this teaching to those of you who may be. In trouble or in despair? Today's title is Blasphemous Thoughts. I received a letter from a young man who is in. Dire straits. He's perplexed, he's wondering why he's having certain thoughts, and he reached out to me for consolation, for remedy.

[00:00:49]

And I'm here for him, as well as many others who may be going through a similar situation as this young man. Let's go ahead and take a look at this letter he wrote me. He states, Hey, Gabe, my name is and I blocked out his name. There's no need for that here. I really love your videos and they inspired me to get closer to God each and every day. You teach nothing but the truth. I appreciate your work.

God is truly amazing. By the way, I'm 18 and I love Christ. I've been struggling with a verse in which it scares me. It's in March three, 2009, and it talks about unforgivable sin, also known as the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. And I'm scared of the sin because of the bad thoughts that popped into my head that I cannot control. I was hoping you can reach back to me with what you know about the verse and hopefully help me with it because it scares me.

[00:01:55]

I don't want to go to hell. Reach back to me as soon as possible. Thank you. I believe that this young man is sincere because I've heard similar stories from other individuals who go through a bout of what they call blasphemous thoughts, where they think derogatory thoughts towards God or Jesus Christ. They're plagued with certain words and thoughts that come to their mind and they're wondering if they're possessed. They're wondering why. They are tempted to speak out these words that come into their minds.

[00:02:36]

Let's go out and take a look at scripture and firstly get into what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is. In Matthew, 12, thirty one, the Bible states wherefore I say, and to you, Jesus speaking all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men. But the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men and whosoever speak of the word against the son of man. It shall be forgiven him. But whosoever speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him.

[00:03:11]

Neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Then answer the Jews and said and to him say, we not well, that thou art a Samaritan and has the devil in mark three twenty nine, but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. And in Luke, 11, 15, but some of them said Notis said, speaking of speaking, a word said he cast out devils through Beelzebub, the chief of the Devils.

[00:03:52]

So they were stating that Jesus Christ, the son of God, was actually under the influence or possessed by the devil to do the work of God that he was doing, essentially blaspheming the Holy Ghost of God. That is why our words are powerful and our words are being recorded in the heavens, God shall bring every work into judgment. A man shall have to give an account for every idle word that he speaks. So blasphemy of the spirit is speaking a word against the Holy Ghost.

[00:04:31]

Isaiah, twenty six, three states that will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on the air because he trusted in the soul, the mind needs to be stayed upon Christ on the things of God, things in the heavens. When we feel that God has done us wrong. Or we are suffering unjustly, we'd need not. To. Raise our fist, our God, and begin to curse him as jobs wife told him to do.

[00:05:07]

While he was under his plight, his affliction. Joe's wife told him to curse God and die. And he said, nay, though, he slay me yet, well, I trust in him his mind was state upon God because why he trusted faith in him. Finally, my brother and what silver things are true, what silver things are honest whatsoever, things are just what silver things are pure whatsoever. Things are lovely whatsoever. Things are of good report.

[00:05:41]

If there be any virtue and if there be any praise, notice, I think, on these things. Mind is stayed on, Christ mind is stayed on the things of God, the mind has stayed on things that are honest, that are pure, that are lovely, that are a virtue. We are to think on those things. But a person who's entertaining blasphemous thoughts does not have his mind state upon Christ does not think on the things that are true, that are honest, that are pure.

[00:06:16]

He's entertaining, he's he's giving in to this demonic influence. God shall not be mocked. Leviticus 24 and the Lord spoke on to Moses saying, bring forth him that Christ without the camp or outside the camp and let all that hurt him, lay their hands upon his head and let all the congregation stone him. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel saying whosoever curses his God shall bear his sin. And he that blasphemous the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him as well.

[00:06:56]

The stranger as he that is born in the land. When he blaspheme with the name of the Lord, he shall be put to death. This is the word of God, my brethren. We are to watch the words we speak, and we ought to warn others not to speak so hastily. Especially concerning things of the spirit of God and especially the things that they know not of, lest they fall into sin, lest they allow their mouths to cause them to sin and even worse, to be separated from God for eternity.

[00:07:36]

Blasphemers have eternal damnation to look forward to, not heaven.
