Add subtitles in Instagram Live

Instagram has no way to add your own captions to a broadcast while it is live, and it doesn't take subtitle files on posts or reels. The reliable way to get subtitles on an Instagram Live is to caption the replay and burn the text into the video before you post it again.

1. When the live ends, tap Download to save it to your camera roll. If you missed it, the broadcast is also kept in your Live archive.
