HappyScribe joins your Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet as a participant and records both audio and video for every person on the call.
A full transcript, a structured summary, and a decisions-and-owners list land in your workspace moments after the call ends. Push them to Slack, Notion, email, or a shared drive so teammates in other timezones can catch up without attending. Export to PDF, DOCX, or TXT.
Decisions, topics, and next steps pulled into a single overview you can forward to anyone who missed the call. Ready before your next meeting starts.
Ask a question about any past recording and get an answer with the exact timestamp. No more scrubbing through an hour of audio to find who said what.
Full-text search across every meeting you have ever recorded. Find when a decision was made and whether it changed three meetings later.
Turn any recording into a Notion page, a Slack update, or an internal doc. One click and the artifact ships to where your team reads.
Every call recorded and stored with audio and video. Teammates in a different timezone can watch at 1.5x or jump to the exact timestamp that mentions their project.
Connect through Zapier, MCP server, or API. Artifacts flow straight to Slack, Notion, Linear, Google Drive, or wherever your team already works.
Configure the output to match your async workflow. Weekly reviews, design critiques, retros, board meetings — a different template for each.
Every voice on the call labeled automatically. A teammate catching up in Tokyo can see exactly who raised each concern and who owns every next step.
The AI Notetaker is a real game-changer for us. There's no need to write everything during meetings anymore; now I can actually engage.
Transcript, summary, and decisions land in one place the moment the call wraps — shared with everyone who needed to be in the room and everyone who did not. If you want the tighter summary-only artifact, see meeting summary; for daily written standups, see standup notes; for formal governance-grade minutes, see meeting minutes.

HappyScribe auto-detects the language being spoken and handles mid-call switching. Supports 150+ languages and dialects.

HappyScribe joins your scheduled meetings as a participant, or you can use the browser-based recorder to go bot-free.
You control how your meetings are recorded.

Every call leaves behind a summary, a decision log, and a searchable transcript.
Key decisions, open questions, and next steps organized for someone who was not in the room. Written so a teammate can read it in two minutes and know what changed. Delivered to your inbox and pushed to Slack or Notion automatically.
Every decision flagged with the person who made it and the action items that came out of it. Owners assigned, deadlines captured when stated, exported to PDF, DOCX, or TXT.

The speaker system is pretty inaccurate but otherwise it's perfect and very fast I'd recommend it.
I am amazed at the quality of transcription. There are some words that are phonetically similar that need to be corrected but for the most part the speech-to-text is excellent.
Thanks to HappyScribe my videos are more and more interesting for my subscribers! Thank you!
I have loved using HappyScribe to help with my copywriting. I find that if I conduct an interview, I can have it transcribed to quickly move into the writing/editing phase for published pieces. Great software and fairly priced.
Easy to use and saved me tons of time transcribing a homework assignment from an interview I did.
Very easy to use! As a learning experience designer, I create video demos very frequently for our eLearning products. With HappyScribe, I can add subtitles quickly and accurately. HappyScribe makes my work much easier.
Great transcription service and the editor is smooth to work with; makes it easy to correct in the happily few places where it is needed.
Simple to understand and excellent results.
Excellent service to transcribe recordings and saving me much time!
Async communication tools let team members share updates, decisions, and context without everyone being online at the same time. Shared docs, recorded video, transcripts, and summaries are common formats. HappyScribe sits in the transcript-and-summary category: it turns every live call into a document teammates in any timezone can read later.
HappyScribe joins your Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet and produces a transcript, an AI summary, and a list of decisions and owners. Teammates who could not attend read the summary, scan the decisions, and jump to specific timestamps in the transcript. The live meeting becomes a one-time event. The artifact is what the rest of the team actually uses.
Yes. Upload any video or audio file and HappyScribe returns a transcript, summary, and decision list. Useful for back-filling async docs from calls you recorded before signing up.
Loom-style tools are great for one-to-many pre-recorded updates. HappyScribe covers the other half: the live conversations you still need to have, turned into an async artifact for everyone who was not there. Many teams use both.
Zapier, MCP server, and a public API. From there the summary and decisions flow into Slack, Notion, Linear, Google Drive, Confluence, email, or any tool you already run on.
